The newspaper "Gulf News" said that the Federal National Council in the UAE submitted a request to approve a new law on dress constraints in the UAE and to ensure respect for local culture and sensitivities.

The "Gulf News" mention that the Federal National Council member Ahmad Hamad Alrmaki presented a question to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais on this issue during a meeting last Tuesday.

The newspaper quoted Alrmaki as saying: "There must be respect for the people in the United Arab Emirates. Should residents and tourists wearing modest clothing, and they shouldn't publish their bad habits for our children ."

The report added, citing Alrmaki as saying: "I do not ask that the visitors and residents of wearing our clothes, but their manner of dress should be respected and not suggestive," stressing that women who wear revealing clothes are against the culture in the United Arab Emirates, and abuse to local sensitivities.

The representative of the National Council of Federal law also address another problem which is "unacceptable behavior" such as kissing in public places.

Al-Jazeera Channel made a report on the recommendation of the UAE National Council on awareness necessary for the foundations of decency and respect for traditions and customs of the UAE in public places.

Dubai-based construction company Drydocks World and Swiss consulting, engineering, and brokerage firm BIG InvestConsult will build the Water Discus Hotel, a luxury underwater hotel in Dubai.

Poland’s Deep Ocean Technology designed the hotel, surrounded by a coral reef, to have 21 two-person rooms with huge windows and an underwater diving center. Rooms will be as deep as 10 meters below the surface, and diving training will be offered. The hotel can also rotate. A large disc-shaped structure above the water will have a spa, garden, and upper-terrace swimming pool—presumably for guests at an underwater hotel who don’t actually want to be in the ocean.

Architect Paweł Podwojewski says he started designing the hotel two years ago. He approached it more as if it were a ship than a building, and kept construction costs low by making the structure simple and not fixing it to the ocean floor. The hotel can surface for repairs or evacuation in anywhere from 15 minutes to 12 hours—the speed is adjustable—and be tugged to new locations. The acrylic windows are the most expensive part, he says, and can be added or removed based on the budget.

The project will cost from $50 million to $120million, depending on the design, the chairman of Drydocks World told reporters. BIG InvestConsult will fund the project and represent Deep Ocean Technology, which owns the technology and concept for the hotel. The announcement comes a month after Drydocks World sought insolvency protection in Dubai and Singapore to push through a $2.2 billion debt restructuring, according to the Vancouver Sun. Drydocks World and Maritime World are the main contractors for new hotels and floating cities in the Middle East, which so far include two developments with five hotels, reported the Chicago Tribune, and there are discussions to build more underwater hotels around the world.

Crowned blue pigeon live in only one place in the world in the low land forests of New Guinea island of South West Pacific. It is also one of the threatened species. The crowned blue pigeon is one of the largest types of pigeons, approximately the size of turkeys, and up to 70 cm in length and weighs 2 kg.

Difficult to differentiate between male and female in this type because of the similarity of the two external shape, but the male is usually slightly larger than the female. You will note that the blue crowned pigeon has feathers dark blue around its eyes gives it a very beautiful look!

This family of pigeons have several types such as the blue crowned pigeons which you saw its photos above, which known as the Crested Western Pigeon ,and there is another kind of crowned South Pigeon of a similar but much dark red feathers in the chest area.

Israeli scientists aim to crack the code that keeps the president youthful and focused

Israeligenetic researchers are planning to map the DNA of President Shimon Peres to discover which gene is responsible for what they call the president’s extraordinary longevity and mental clarity.

In hopes of finding what they have dubbed the “Shimon Peres Gene,” researchers in the GGA laboratory in the Golan Heights collected a saliva sample from the president on Monday.

Dr. Yoram Plotzky told Army Radio that it will take three months for the researchers to compile the full genome, and then the team will attempt to identify the particular sequence which is responsible for Peres’s unique qualities.

Peres, 88, reportedly agreed to the experiment without hesitation, telling the scientists, “The risk is yours.”
