type="text">Caving and Hiking</title><summary type="text">The two events this week were a campout and a rank advancement meeting.   At the meeting, not many people got requirements signed off.   The caving campout was fun.  In the morning we hiked and in the afternoon we caved.  The first thing we did in the cave was a boat tour.  Then we did a wild tour where we crawled through the cave; we all type="text">Caving and Zombies</title><summary type="text">The Scout meeting this week was very good.  We had a skill session on the caving campout.  After that we played dodge ball.  Dodge ball was nice because we hadn’t played it in a while.  At first we played zombie dodge ball, then later we played normal dodge ball.  Zombie dodge ball is like normal dodge ball except when you get hit you type="text">Court of Honor</title><summary type="text">This week we had a lot of things going on.  We had a Court of Honor on Sunday, a scout meeting on Tuesday, and a planning meeting for the Boundary Waters trip on Thursday.  At the Court of Honor, we ate a lot of food.  Scouts got awarded ranks and badges that they had earned.  There was a good presentation on the National Jamboree.  The type="text">Via Ferrata</title><summary type="text">This week we had a meeting and a campout.  The skill session was about climbing which was appropriate since we were doing via ferrata, a type of climbing, on the campout.  Via ferrata is climbing horizontally across a rock face with the help of rebar.  We went to Torrent Falls near Red River Gorge to climb and camped at a public campground type="text">Biking and Canoeing</title><summary type="text">This  was the first campout of the scout year and was at Camp Achewon.  On  the campout, we did some canoeing and biking, and we had the new scout  induction ceremony.  During the day on Saturday, we rode in to the bike  trail.  Once we were there, we rode our bikes about 8 miles to the canoe  rental place.  We had lunch outside.  From type="text">Learning To Canoe and Bike</title><summary type="text">In  the meeting two weeks ago, we had a skill session on canoeing.  We had  patrol corners to plan the camp out.  Then we played steal the bacon. Almost all major "stolen" items have been accounted for.  (Including the missing handbook)

Still not accounted for are a knife and a backpack. 

Also unaccounted are some "stolen" underwear and socks.  Parents be on alert.  Apparently the same thief keeps returning to Lakeview the last week of June.  Reportedly it was someone in a brown shirt.  Be on the lookout.
