I do not understand why people are so stubborn. We already know what is good for us but we keep on shying away from the truth.

Health for example, we know the go, grow and glow foods but we keep on eating those chicken and pork fats. We splurge on steak. We eat not just a cup of ice cream but a pint. A big slice of cake sometimes is not just enough.

I am back! Could I say that I am back for good? I have not really been into blogging lately because of my busy schedule. It is hard to be a working mother, you know. What about my blogging? I am thinking of taking a new step! A bigger one, maybe! What's up? Well, I am thinking of finally getting a web host. However, I still have not decided which one to choose. There are so many web site hosting companies out there and almost each one claims to be the best. Good thing that reviews are available. I am now reading some of them at http://webhostinggeeks.com . Pretty interesting! I learned that there is a fee! Kidding aside, they said that since you have your own web host, you would have more control of your site? Why do you need control if what you have is only a personal blog? Well, I guess if I would like to apply and have a fair chance of being accepted by advertisers, I should host my blog?

Webhostinggeeks.com is really a great help as I am now reaching my final decision of where to apply. Well, I would surely get the cheapest web hosting but its service is not compromised.

Towels as toys

Children could really be creative with things especially when they are bored. My son for example plays with his face towels. Yes, we bought him five face towels last Saturday and what he did with those? He rolled those face towels one and by one and I think he was imagining trains as he lined the towels and said, toot,toot!!! There was a traffic!

Having colds is actually contagious. It has been in my mind all along that if you have colds, you really have to isolate yourself or at least wear a mask so that you would not spread it. Some people find it OA or overacting on my part.

A cold might progress into a cough, then you might have fever and eventually find out, you actually have a flu.

Do I have to thank H1N1 for this outrageous awareness people are showing nowadays. Imagine, it is becoming a scare!

My son is asking me where he would celebrate his 6th birthday. He loves fishes and for his 5th birthday, we went to Ocean Park. When you are looking for a house either for rent or for lease, where do you look for it? You could look for it in newspapers, internet, or sometimes, you take a trip to a certain subdivision or establishment to find out if they have something to offer that would match your requirement. I wonder if those people who own big properties find it easy to manage or if they get someone to do the Real Property Management for them. I think it would be easier. My friend who has a five door apartment for rent sometimes encounter some headaches especially when the tenant does not pay on time or worse, does not pay for many months then just flew away. How much more if what you own is a bigger property?

Here in our country, mango season is in the months of April and May. During these times, you could have all the mangoes you want. You could find this fruit everywhere. Because of the large supply, it is more affordable too.

I was able to buy mangoes for as low as P30/ kilo.

One of the requirements before you land a job is a health certificate. No employer would like to take in a sick employee right? Thus, before you are hired for a job, you undergo a series of tests like lung x-ray to rule out any form like tuberculosis or any form of respiratory tract infection, urine test to rule out any form of a kidney disease and the like. Even dental health is taken into account also. I could still remember when I was applying for my job right now. It was my dental exam and I knew then that I had some tooth caries that needed some dental attention. What I did was I greeted the dentist warmly with my energetic voice and contagious smile. I passed that exam. I basically passed all the other tests.

What would happen if you get sick during work? One classic example is catching mesothelioma. This form of disease is caused by exposure to certain chemicals. The known substance that causes mesothelioma is asbestos. Thus, the people who are working at construction sites are most likely to be affected by this disease because of constant exposure to asbestos. Since mesothelioma has the signs and symptoms of similar lung diseases like pneumonia, it could spread even to people who are not exposed to asbestos but exposed to the person who acquired the disease. Do you think that the worker would get any benefit from his employer. I do not think so unless he has a good Mesothelioma Lawyer. It is a good thing that there are lawyers who take such cases so that the person who is exposed to asbestos would be protected and rightfully compensated.

I should stop watching this late night showbiz talk show! I feel sleepy all the time and I could not finish my tasks at once. But, it is really addicting, you know. My friend migrated to another country! I am very happy to have received an e-mail from her. She said that she is still adjusting and she barely knows anyone from there. She is still shy to introduce herself to others. I told her to start with her neighbors or might as well she might like to join free local chat rooms where she would definitely meet some friends. Who knows? The one she might be talking to might just be a block away. With that, she would definitely gain a friend and maybe someone who could also be her companion. You know, it is always nice to have someone accompany you tour or discover a new place. My friend loved the idea and she said that she would join a chat room soon. I am so excited for her.

I, myself had joined a local chat room. It is fun! I get to meet people from all around the locality. I have the option to choose if I would like to join those people who have the same interests as I do or better yet, discover others who might have the opposite likes and dislikes as mine. People in the office are thinking of getting Small Business Loans being offered by the company. Oh, I love my generous company for that. I do not have my own car. However, I do not have to worry if I am going to attend special events like weddings or birthday parties. I could count on a transport service. What is the company that you could count on for the best transportation service? If ever I need to go to an evening party with my gown and all dresses up, I need something like a Boston Limousine Service, right? I could still remember when one of the most popular local celebrities here in country announced her love for the equally popular young man then by putting his name on his ankle. It was a sort of ankle strap tattoo. At first, everybody was against it. She was criticized and branded as wild. It almost made her lose her star status. But then again, things were turned around and she made tattoo more popular. Tattoo artists got more jobs because almost every fan of hers would like to get one. Would you believe that before that, when someone has a tattoo, he would perceive to be an ex-convict? That particular person changed everything. That was the good side of it. She created more jobs and she somehow educated people that tattoo is really a form of art.

Anything that is a fad also fades away, right? Tattooing is still existent, though. The true blue fans still have it or even put more depending on the new designs. I know someone who is a single parent. I really admire her. She takes care of her daughter very well. She works doubly hard than the rest of us in the office. I bet that her emotions are very stable also. She does not have an ordinary child. She has to deal with her kid's health problems also. Sometimes, I could sense that she carries the whole world all by herself. If I am feeling that for her, how much more how she feels being in that situation. She has friends though who would support her all the way. However, it is still different if she could talk to someone who is in the same boat as she is. Maybe she should join this single parent chat. I hope she could even meet a person there that could be her lifetime partner. Yes, I am thinking this advance for her. I love this friend of mine so much and I would like her to be looking at a brighter future.

It really feels good to be in a good company where you share the same thoughts and same experiences. You could understand each other well. Moreover, you could help. You could just be there to chat with. The time you could give by chatting to that person could do wonders and could make his or her world a better place to live in.

I am into posting marathon these days! Imagine three posts a day! That is what you call, raining! I am happy and feel blessed and I do not like any opportunity to slip on my hand. Well, it is given to me so I better do something about it, right?

Writing has never been enjoyable especially if you know that you are going to get paid for it. Huh! However, it is hard work also. Sleepless nights and sometimes no time at all for other things but writing, writing and writing.

Repair and maintenance

I like this site about Tampa HVAC contractors. You know, summer is here and our air-conditioning unit is still there uncleaned! We have been using it for almost seven years and it never tasted any repair or maintenance service yet. My husband was the only one who tried cleaning it once or twice. Upon stumbling to the site, I realized that we should not take things on our own hands. The site is very informative on the importance of a cooling or heating system in our lives. Moreover, it discusses how important it is to hire someone that is an expert in it.

Do we have to hire someone who we just met? The site is very honest not encouraging us to hire someone who would offer a low price or who would just make an agreement with you without seeing what he would work on. I agree to that because I am a very visual person. I have to see the problem first before I could give any assessment.

Would you go for a cheaper service? It really depends. I do not believe that everything expensive is better. I would just go for something valuable in the real sense of the word. Usually, contractors had previous clients. Maybe you could ask them how the person delivers and how much he had charged before.
