A In A Baltimore, Maryland, December 2,A 8 yr old Monica Ring never showed up at school. The 8 yr old honor student and peer counselor was said to be dropped of by the mother's boyfriend.

Regrettably, you probably know where this is going. Yesterday, police found her body (though as of this publishing it has not been substantiated).

In the days immediately after Marciana's disappearance, police also discovered inconsistencies in the boyfriend's account of the last morning the girl was seen alive.

Marciana's father, Marc "Starks" Ring Sr., told police that he went to his children's home at about 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 3 to take his 3-year-old son Marc Ring Jr. to day-care, according to court records. Ring told police that the boyfriend told him at that point that Marciana already had left the house to walk to school.

A neighbor, however, told investigators that she saw Marciana leave the apartment at about 8 a.m. and get into a vehicle driven by the boyfriend. Court records show that the boyfriend explained the discrepancy by saying that the girl had started to walk to school but returned home to have her homework signed by an adult.

The boyfriend said he then drove Marciana to school, but court records show that school officials called the girl's mother, Milagro White, during the day to say Marciana never arrived at class.

Two days later, on Dec. 5, White received by mail the scrawled, handwritten ransom note addressed to her children's father.

"To Starks: I want $5,000," the letter said. Riddled with misspellings, it went on: "Put in bag and put I men bathroom at Dru Hill Park by 8 p.m. tonight or the girl dies."

"If she die let just say we even, an eye for an eye," the letter said.

After being arrested on handgun charges Saturday (12-7) the boyfriend was released Sunday (12-8) on bail and is now (as of 12-13) missing and considered armed & dangerous.

Now my mission is not to deliver bad news, but to ask:

How hard is it for single moms to discern between looking for love and trying not to have a bad influence around your child? No one wants to be alone, but you don't want every Tom, Dick, & Harry around your child either. Do you have to become a private eye and investigate ever single man you meet or do you resign yourself to just being alone until they get old enough (whatever that age is). I'm sure Monica's mother will never be the same, please pray for her.

There have been so many times that I felt that the times I went out not looking my best was when I would run into the best looking men. Some times they approach me most times not. I love cosmetics and being girly, the whole shebang, yet I have learned that the way you look is only part of it, I mean how bad do you look? Does the guy want to rescue you from a bad look day? He may think you are too frumpy to get dates and you'd welcome any attention going your way, Does it matter that you have sweats and a T instead of a tank top with jeans? It should;’t but it does well at least to some. Sexy is not what you wear, its how you feel. I love me! When I get dressed for the day I dress for the occasion and mostly I dress for me. I could care less if a person thinks I’m sexy or not. My sexiest isn't validated by the other person in my mind; its shared. I love me flaws and all, and any one in my life knows it. I enjoy who and how I am its me. I love me, When I am approached I appreciate it and give a warm thanks and simply let that be the end of that episode. I don't look or fish for more. I get approached
by men every day all day, even by a lot of the same men I see daily. I'm my humble opinion I am sexy.
I love myself flaws and all. And I could care less if anyone thought differently. Am I confident? Ya damn right!

In the past two days, two men have approached me, which normally doesn't happen. And the weirdest thing? I looked awful both of those times. Coincidence or is there something there? I think there just might be a lesson! The first time, I'd just finished a 5 mile-is loop around Central Park. I was sweaty, wearing a t-shirt cut at the neck Flashdance style and ugly knee-length shorts, hair in a pony tail. And these two Spanish guys asked me directions, then things began getting a little friendly-flirty. The second time was yesterday afternoon. I was PMSing and stressed out by friend stuff, by family stuff, by work stuff, by life stuff. You know how it is. It was one of those days where things just built and built and built and, after one frustrating moment, I knew I was going to cry. So instead of running into the bathroom, locking myself into the handicapped stall, and just letting it go, I went outside, walked to Starbucks, and, yeah, allowed myself to break down a bit.

Put out the clothes you plan to wear, etc. 3. Don't rely on your memory. Write down appointment times, when to pick up the laundry, when library books are due, etc. ("The palest ink is better than the most retentive memory."- Old Chinese Proverb) 4. Do nothing you have to lie about later. 5. Make copies of all keys. Bury a house key in a secret spot in the garden. Carry a duplicate car key in your wallet, apart from your key ring. 6. Practice preventive maintenance. Your car, appliances, home and relationships will be less likely to break down "at the worst possible moment." 7. Be prepared to wait. A paperback book can make a wait in a post office line almost pleasant. 8. Procrastination is stressful. Whatever you want to do tomorrow, do today; whatever you want to do today, do it now. 9. So I signed up for Y 360 and I filled some of the fields and then when It get to that square I knew then It was time to bleg. My next issue was what to write about. Now also during this time I was going through some very serious family crisis and I felt that the time wasn't right and I felt that I had nothing to say . One day a friend came over and had a long talk with me and said that I was waisting my god given talents and it was one of thereasons why I was feeling so bad and unfulfilled. After he left I sat and thought about it deeply about 4 months deep. Then it came to me. I can blog ! Because I do have something to say and I realized that everyone writing had something thing to say and it takes courage to send your posting out for the whole world to see, There are book authors that have written books and said the same things that I read in 50 books before that. I started several blogs with a lot of stiff some of stories I started and didn't finish and some that were but they all were there until I figured out the major interest and purpose of me blogging, After a bunch of postings of a lot of nothing and something, I figured it out.

I can do this, becase I like it and I have something to say.

If you have time; is a intense letter bubbling over with tons of emotional issues. Some of them are easy to identify. Some we can identify with depending on what we have gone through in life. The woman writing this letter is having other issues but is making this the prime target of her problems to hide from them. She cant believe that she is being rejected by the man that she believes is beneath her. I guess you thought that after all that's happened that you'd never hear from me again. I thought so too, but I couldn't get so many things out of my mind. On the one hand I say to my self let it go. and on the other I say at least stay friends.

Well regardless to what it is now I wanted to write this to give you an understanding of me and what I do understand about you. I can Imagine you saying this is going to be good. Well, it might ,and It might be too truthful I may make you rethink. you might see something you didn't think about before. It will piss you off like everything else. or it may just entertain you nonetheless that's what this is about. Hope you can be patient long enough to read all of this.

In the beginning when we first connected. My life was fine but on the way down. I have always been a strong woman so I said to myself that I can handle it and I will . I have been on my own since I was 16 ( I've already shared some of the childhood traumas but that's one of several) I went to college in Texas and in California. My GPA 4.0 my IQ

on different battery tests range between 160-168. I was in High school and in college at the same tine for a 2 yr overlap. To pay for college I was in the Army Reserve where I was an officer and a computer technician .
