The Showtime Season 2 Grand Finals will be on December 18, 2010, Saturday. It will be the second time for the Showtime to celebrate its Season 2 Grand Finals. Grand Champion and runner-up winners will also be announced on the airing of Showtime this comming Saturday in ABS-CBN. The Grand Champion will receive the 1 million pesos from the Kapamilya Network.

The Season 2's episode hosts are Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Jugs and Teddy Corpuz, Kim Atienza and Comedy Star Vice Ganda are very much excited in Grand Finals event.

From the ABS-CBN interview they caught Vhong Navarro and he gave a statement witch is "Magagaling ang lahat ng grupo kaya siguradong mainit ang magiging labanan".

The performances will be judged by Vice Ganda together with the previous judges including Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Kaye Abad and Karylle. As to the rule, the performers will be judged in a 10-point-system, 10 as the highest and 1 as the lowest.

Philippine Money Bill New Design by BSP 2010

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has released the new designs of the new denominations of the Philipinne Money for year 2010. Launching was led by President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III at the Malacanang Palace.

Including the image of his mother and former President Corazon Aquino together with his late husband, Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino featured the new 500 peso bill.

It was designed money are fully equipped with stronger security to detect if its fake or not.

P20 Bill Design In front of the 20 peso bill is Manuel L. Quezon. At the rear part is are the Palm Civet from the Cordilleras and the Banaue Rice Terraces.

P50 Bill Design In front was Sergio Osmenia while the Taal Lake and its rare Maliputo milky fish at the back.

P100 Bill Design In front was Manuel Roxas while Mayon Volcano and the Butanding, the world's largest fish that can be found at Donsol Sorsogon were featured at the back.

P200 Bill Design Featuring the new 200 bill design was Diosdado Macapagal while the Chocolate Hills of Bohol and the famous tarsier was at its back.

P500 Bill Design Corazon Aquino and Benigno Aquino Jr. were featured in the new 500 peso bill. At the rear part are Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park at Palawan and the blue-naped parrot that can be found at Mindoro and Palawan.

P1,000 Bill Design Fronting the bill are Josefa Llanes Escoda, Vicente Lim and Jose Abad Santos while at its back are the Tubbataha Reef Marine Park and South Sea Pearl.

They were be the Season 4's Amazing Race Asia grand winner aired at AXN. Bagging with $100,000 for being the grand winner.

LeBron James reminded the Cavaliers what they were missing on Thursday, dominating his former team in his first time back in Cleveland since he bolted the club for the Miami Heat during the summer.

James torched the net for 38 points to help the Heat beat the Cavs, 118-90, in a game where Cleveland fans came in full force to frustrate their former franchise player only to end up disappointed. A deafening cacophony of boos echoed inside the Quicken Loans Arena every time James handled the ball, but the two-time league MVP always had a ready smile and a basket to silence the crowd.

Veteran TV and Movie actor Leslie Nielsen Died at 84

The Veteran TV and Movie actor Leslie Nielsen, whose died at the age of 84 dead-pan humor was immortalized in "Airplane" and "Naked Gun" died from Pneumonia.

Nielsen, a Canadian by birth, died in hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, his agent told TMZ.

With his friends and his wife by his side, he just fell asleep and passed away.

He was born in 1926 in Canada's rugged Saskatchewan and spent part of his childhood in a fort in Canada's Nortwest Territories when his Danis-born father was a constable in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

He acted in serious roles in several films from the 1950s onward, including "The Poseidon Adventure" (1972), but it took his role as a clueless doctor aboard a troubled passenger jet in "Airplane" (1980) to launch his successful career as a comedic actor.

The "Naked Gun" series of three movies in 1988, 1991 and 1994 cemented Nielsen's popularity, who followed it up with other starring roles in spoofs including "Repossessed" (1990) and "2001: A Space Travesty" (2000).

Twice nominated to Emmy Awards, in 1982 for his roles in the television comedy series "Police Squad" and in 1988 for his guest work in "Day by Day" television sitcom.

The variety show will feature the brightest and at the same time upcomming with the young stars of the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network. Is is headed by the Casting coup by Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales, Sam Concepcion, Empress Schuck, Robi Domingo, Arron Villaflor, and they will be joined by the Pinoy Big Brother Teens and also the Goin' Bulilit alums and other Star Magic Teen Idols.

The PBB teen Robi Domingo described Shout Out! as a program that will enable him and fellow stars to showcase their talents. “It’s been a long time since may teen variety show sa ABS-CBN. The King of Talk Show, Boy Abunda bagged his 15th consecutive trophy as Best Male Showbiz Oriented Talk Show Host in the recent PMPC Star Awards for Television. He won for the 11th year as host of ABS-CBN's long-running showbiz magazine show The Buzz the four earlier awards were from his previous show. Boy is now eleveted to the Hall of Fame since he has won for 15 years straight and can no longer be nominated next year.

“The best things about receiving awards are, number one you become grateful for all the blessings na ibinibigay ng Diyos. Pangalawa, paalala ito na dapat mong pagbutihin ang iyong trabaho dahil sa responsibilidad mo sa mga manonood at para sa tiwalang ibinibigay sa iyo.”

Boy Abunda remained humble even after reaching Hall of Fame Status. Boy said that the past 15 yeards of being a TV host was filled with so much learing.

“Wow, 15 consecutive years! Ang dami kong natutunan. Hindi lamang sa 15 years dahil before that may mga pagkakataong hindi ako nanalo. I’ve learned a lot from so many people, from directors, writers, co-hosts, people I interviewed. Microsoft's Xbox 360 Kinect Hits Stores

The Microsoft has been launched that latest Xbox 360 motion-sensing controller Kinect with a Times Square extravaganza and high hopes for the device that lets people play video games using their own body movements.

The International Data Corp. has been predicted by the US sales of 2.5 million to 3 million Kinects over the holiday season but the Microsoft want to chance setting it sights even it higher.

Redmnd, Washington-based software giant this week has been boosted its forecast for Kinect sales this quarter 5 million units from 3 million and said it expects it to be the largest and biggest Xbox accessory debut ever.

After the success of Boys over Flowers, Lee Min Ho is back not as Gu Jun Pyo but as Jeon Jin Ho in another TV series "Perfect Match"(aka Personal Taste/Personal Preference) of ABS-CBN, starting November 8.

The story is all about a straight guy who pretends to be a gay in order to become a roommate of his female friend, Park Kae In. His hobbies include organization and ironing and is known for having stoic poker face. He is also stickler when it comes to cleanliness, but has a talent in figuring out women's feelings.

On the other hand, Kae In is very trusting and even she has a habit of being betrayed, it doesn't stop her from giving people the benefit of the doubt and Jin Ho is no different.

PACQUIAO-MARGARITO BOUT - NO REMATCH

According to the Top Rank Chairman and promoter Bob Arum is not keen on putting up a rematch between the Filipino's Champ Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito.

Their 12-round fight for the Super-Welterwieght Title for the World Boxing Council (WBC) turns out to be a competitive and closely-fought bout.

The Top Rank chairman said a rematch is very unlikely, especially if the encounter proves to be a dominant win for Pacquiao or even Margarito will ends up being too much for the world's current top Pound-for-Pound fighter.

“No rematch clause. I don’t believe in rematch clause," said the long-time veteran promoter. “Pacquiao prevailing by a mile over the heavy underdog Margarito would no longer be attractive to boxing fans."

“If the fight turns out to be one-sided (in favor of Manny), a rematch wouldn’t be saleable," pointed Arum, who’s been in the boxing business for more than four decades.

The big fight will be on November 13, 2010 Saturday night. (November 14,2010 here at Philippines).

'De Castro and Sanchez' return to TV Patrol

The ABS-CBN Network announced that on Wednesday, the veteran broadcast journalists Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez will return to TV Patrol on Monday, November 8.

The three news icon in the Philippine Broadcast journalism are joining forces to strengthen the both tandems "TV Parol", as the ABS-CBN's flagship newscasting and the leadning news program in the country said the one of the country's largest broadcast network.

Starting this comming Monday, November 8, Noli 'Kabayan' de Castro and Korina Sanchez will return to television to join the current broadcaster Ted Failon in 'TV Patrol' to form the most tried and tested news team ever.

The Network said that 'de Castro' returns with a wider knowledge of the workings of government after his 6-year stint as the Vice President of the Philippine Republic.

For the other news program, the late night news program, Bandila, Karen Davila and Julius Babao are sent to join to Ces Drilon as news anchors.

The Network said de Castro "started making a name on radio during the Martial Law years." He "is also the original anchor of 'TV Patrol,' and the hard-hitting investigative show, 'Magandang Gabi Bayan'."

"Sanchez, on the other hand, is the intelligent and brave 'Kakampi ng Bayan,' who has reported on the biggest news in the country since she started in ABS-CBN in 1986. She also holds the distinction of being the first female main anchor of 'TV Patrol'," ABS-CBN said.

Sanchez, who married to his former Senator Mar Roxas, who lost in the May 2010 Vice-presidential race against the former Makati Mayor, Jejomar Binay as now Vice President of the Philippine Republic.
