Cloey's Field Trip

For Cloey's last and best field trip her class and I went to a nature center near by. Cloey's favorite part of the trip was the pond. We were able to take some water and put it in a tub then gently take a net and scrap the bottom of the pond and put what we found inside the tub. Then we would gently take out (with a plastic spoon) anything the kids wanted to take a closer look at and place it inside a clear plastic cup.

It was such a beautiful day out, and we got to enjoy nature! Cloey really enjoyed it and so did I. I was very grateful that I was able to go on Cloey's field trip with her. Terry had the day off so he watched both boys.

Sorry I have been MIA (missing in action)

It has been far too long since I have written a post!

A little update about my kids:

Cloey has almost completed her first year of kindergarten. I am so proud of how much she has learned this year. She loves school and loves to come home and pretend to be a teacher. She tells me that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. I am curious to see if this changes. I hope that she will always love school. Cloey has a crush on a boy in her class. I think it is cute how she blushes whenever I talk about him or she tells me about him.

Carter had his first year of preschool this year, he loves going. He attended school Monday and Tuesday morning from 8-11:30. He has a girl in his class that he calls his girlfriend. WHAT!!!! Already!!!! Are you kidding me???? This is crazy I didn’t think Carter would already be talking about girls. He says he has a crush on her.

Caleb is doing great! I am so happy how much he has grown and all he can do. Because he was early I was told to expect him to be behind a couple of months with his development. He started to do somethings before Cloey and Carter did when they were at his age. He took his first step a month and a half before he turned a year old. He is almost fully walking, but gets around much faster by crawling which is why I think he isn’t only walking.

Blog Name Change

Sorry I have been a little absent. My water broke at thirty-four weeks my son was born at thirty-four weeks one day (gestational age). He had to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (nicu) for almost two weeks. He is a month old today and doing well. He was four pounds fourteen ounces and eighteen and a half inches long. He now weighs five pounds six ounces.

Cloey and Carter both love their brother.

Straight Talk

We used to have AT&T as our cell phone carrier. We were on the go phone plan. We decided to switch to Straight Talk because we were told they operated off Verizon and AT&T's cell phone towers, and it was going to save us a lot of money. We are currently on the $45 a month unlimited talk, text and data (for national calling, there is a different plan for international calling). The $45 a month plan also includes unlimited calling to 411 (information). The total we pay per phone, per month, after tax is $48.46.

When we were in the process of activating our phones we had to speak to someone at Straight Talk for assistance, they were very helpful. If you want to keep your same phone number you need to make sure you have your account number from our current cell phone provider, so that Straight Talk can get your number from them. When we switched to straight talk we kept our same phones, and phone numbers.

I also wanted to add in here that we were using iphones on the AT&T go-phone plan. Wanted to state that because we were told by AT&T that the smartphones wouldn't work on the go-phone plan, and that was a lie.

You can keep your current phone. Click here to make sure it is compatible with Straight Talk. If you are currently using a sim then you need to buy a sim from Straight Talk to put in your phone (currently $6.99 with free shipping). Sim Cutter

I just became aware of the sim cutter when my friend needed one. I thought it would be a nice thing to share with my readers, like my friend shared with me. We borrowed her's to cut Terry's sim because he went from and iphone 3 to and iphone 4.
My friend found a sim cutter online at Amazon (see picture below). You can cut your normal size sim to a micro sim for an iphone 4. If you needed it to be bigger again you can use one of the micro sim adapters that it comes with. This is very handy because you don't have to continue to go back to your cell phone provider for to bigger sized sim if you needed to switch phones. I was an AT&T go-phone costumer but we switched to Straight talk. Will write a review about that very soon!

Occupational Costumes

I receive a construction worker costume to review from AnytimeCostumes.com. I love that the vest is reflective. Carter is in love with this costume. As soon as he saw it he wanted to put it all on. He loves playing with toys and pretending to fix things.

Costume includes: Vest, Hard Hat, Goggles, Hammer, Saw, and Name Tag

Costume is good quality. I am not worried about him ruining anything. Hard Hat is made of sturdy hard plastic. (Wouldn't use this hat in a hard hat only place though. Toy use only!)

Tape measure does not com with the costume, we bought that at a different store.

Love that there are pockets on the vest, one for the hammer, one for the saw and an extra one to for kids to put what they want in it. Carter uses the extra pocket for his tape measure (again tape measure not included with costume).

Board also not include with costume.

The goggles stay on by a stretchy cord and velcro (in the back). I think the cord should be a little longer because it makes the goggles a little tight on my son's face. That is the only thing I would change about this costume. Very happy with it other than that.

Great costume for boys or girls! Vest has to velcro squares that keep it from falling off.

Graco

In the past five years; I have bought many different products from Graco: swings, car seats, highchairs, and pack-n-plays. I have always been satisfied with their products.

I sold all the baby stuff that I had from Cloey and Carter, because we thought we weren't going to have any more babies. Then we changed our minds. We couldn't afford to buy all new baby gear so I searched around for used stuff. We bought a brand new travel system from Graco, because we knew the car seat had never been in an accident and that everything would be up to date will federal regulations. I bought Graco because I have always been happy with their products.

I bought two used pack-n-plays both of which needed parts. I went to the Graco website to search for parts. I couldn't find what I needed on their website so I called them. The women I spoke to was very helpful. I was able to purchase the fabric part of the changing table for one of the pack-n-plays, and the two bars, I needed for the bassinet part, for the other one. I paid over the phone with a credit card and received both parts within two weeks.

Then this past week I purchased a used swing it was also Graco. I got it home plugged it in and it didn't work! I was very upset because I really like the features the swing offered. I called Graco again and explain what was going on with the swing and the women said unfortunately the motor was gone in the swing. It was going to cost $50 before taxes and shipping to get a new one. I kindly explained that I have bought many things from them in the past and really love their products and was there anyway that I could speak to someone about getting the motor at a lower rate because that was a lot of money to invest in a used swing. The women on the phone said that she could wave the fee of the motor cost but she couldn't do anything about the cost of shipping, which was going to cost me $10.95. I was very happy to pay the $10.95. The women said it should arrive in two week. Will post a review on the swing after my baby is born and we get to use it for him.

Like I have said in one of my older post it is always worth a shot at calling the company. Not all companies have such great customer service, but you never know unless you try.

Best Lotion I have found for dry cracked hands

During the cold and dry winter months my hands use to get so dry they would crack. I came across silicone glove from Avon and now I don't have to worry about my hands cracking.
I squirt a nickle size amount into the palm of my hand and rub into my skin. Sometimes I need to do this a couple of times, it all depends on how dry my hands are. A little go a long way.

I have been using silicone glove lotion from Avon for almost three years now, and I am still very impressed by it. The lotion comes in travel sizes, so I always keep one in my purse. I usually find the travel sizes for sale at 99 cent each which I think is a really good deal.
Avon comes out with different seasonal designs (see imagine below; reindeer one is the silicone glove). If you know an Avon representative you might be able to look through an outlet book and find older designs of the travel size bottles on sale for even less than 99 cents each.

If you are someone that deals with dry cracked hands in the winter, then giving silicone glove from Avon a try is definitely worth it. I use it everyday to help my hands stay; dry and crack free. I have recommend this product to family and friends, and will continue to do so.

Family Update

Cloey:
Cloey is very loving, most of the time. She likes to be a little helper to me and her brother. Sometimes she gets in her moods where she doesn't want to listen or is feeling lazy but not very often. Cloey can now write her name. I am so proud of her. She is learning how to recognize other people's names and letters.
Right now in school she is learning about winter, and patterns. Last night she told me that there are animals that hibernate during the winter.
Cloey knows how to: count to 14, get herself dressed, buckle-up in the vehicle, put on her shoes or boots, and zip her own coat. She tries to help other people zip their coats, but she hasn't gotten that yet.
Her favorite color is purple.

Carter:
Carter can say so many words clearly and puts many words together to form big sentences. The things that he says and does sometimes really surprise me, mostly in a good way.
Last night we were all in the van and I heard Carter in the back set singing, "H, I, J, C". He was trying to sing the ABC song. This past Sunday we went outside for a little while because it was finally nice enough, and while Carter was shoveling he was singing, "Happy Birthday to you!".

My kids always know how to put a smile on my face! They can always brighten up my day!
Both kids love to play outside but we have been experiencing a really cold and icy winter. I would much rather have more snow and have it be warmer then this cold we have been dealing with. Makes it hard to take my kids outside.
Both kids love to help prepare dinner as much as they can.

Me:
I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but I started back to school this past September. I finished my first two college classes in the middle of December and I did well. I took one online class and attended one at the campus.
This semester I will be taking two class and they will both be online. I can't imagine trying to sit through a college class during my last month of pregnancy and attending a class the week or week after giving birth. This next semester ends a month after my due date. I plan to take the summer off to enjoy my newest child and get adjusted to being a mother of three.
Which brings me to the topic of the name of my blog; Mother of 2, that will do. Well apparently two will not do! Laugh out loud! Coming up with a new blog name isn't easy and this time I am not going to put the number of kids we have in it, because you just never know. I thought I was so sure I was done having kids after I had Carter. Then I got a case of baby fever and the idea of having another baby wouldn't leave my head.

Terry started a new job this past summer and became a Sou Chef only a couple months after being there. I am so proud of him!

Pregnancy Update

We found in the middle of last month that we are having another boy. I like to know what we are having so I can buy things and not have to have them be neutral.

I am now 26 weeks but feel like I am more, because of how big I am already. My belly looks like I am caring a basket ball.
Cloey is so excited to be a big sister again! She kisses my belly and hugs it all the time. She says she can't wait for him to be here. I can because we are no where near ready.

I had a scare at the beginning of October when I started bleeding heavily. Went to the ER and they were trying to prepare me for a miscarriage. They didn't have an ultrasound machine so they check to make sure my cervix wasn't opening and checked the baby's heartbeat. I had an ultrasound the next day and found out that everything was fine and that it was the fibroid breaking down a little in my uterus. They told me not to worry because the fibroid is not near the baby. Our baby is growing normally and heartbeat is strong which means my baby is healthy and not to worry. We went for a ultrasound at 19 weeks and found out what we were having and that everything looks good! I continued to spot old blood every couple of days during October, which they new was going to happen because they could see a little pool of blood the day I had the ultrasound to find out why I was bleeding. This was a very scary experience because I never had any bleeding when I was pregnant for Cloey, my first, and I only had lite pink blood spotting they day after intercourse when I was pregnant for Carter, my second.

I found that I had more cravings in my first trimester then I do now, which I think it weird. I liked deviled eggs with pickles on top. The thought of that now makes me sick! Can't think of any other weird ones other then I have craved celery with cream cheese and olives on top. I hate celery so I wasn't trying out that craving!

Mint Chocolate Fudge! YUMMY!!!!

Mint Chocolate Fudge
Easy to make!

Ingredients:

2 cups (16 oz) 10 oz bag Dark Chocolate & Mint Morsels + Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (to make 2 cups, add the 10 oz bag Dark Chocolate & Mint Morsels the top off with the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips to make 2 cups.
1 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
2 cups of mini-marshmellows
5 fl oz Evaporated Milk
2 Tablespoons of butter

Put foil in a 8x8 pan and spray with cooking spray (To prepare for when fudge is complete. Keep on counter close by.)
Combine butter, sugar, and evaporated milk into a 2 quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a rubber spatula. Once boiling set a timer with 4 minutes and stir contently. Once it has been 4 minutes remove from heat and immediately add marshmallows and all the chocolate chips (Dark Chocolate & Mint Morsels + Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips), stir vigorously until chips and marshmallows are all melted and everything is blended together. Then immediately pour into the 8x8 pan and flatten with rubber spatula. Once done, put in fridge for an hour (to cool down and have set faster). After an hour take out of fridge lift up on foil and place the fudge with foil on counter or large cutting board to cut up. I cut into small pieces because I like to have a little at a time, makes it last longer in my house too. I keep my stored in the fridge because I like it better that way. Can be stored at room temp if you like it softer.

Wireless Baby Monitor for the Vehicle from Yada

I received a 4.3 wireless vehicle baby monitor from Yada to review for my blog. I wish they had this out when Cloey and Carter were infants.

There are many options when it comes to installing the camera, none of which are permanent. There are two options for the headrest; one is a strap to strap it to the headrest, and the other is so you can attach it to one of the two metal post when you lift up the headrest. The last option is to suction it to the rear window, the company recommends that you don't attach it to a window or door that can open. It took me about twenty minutes to install the camera and the video monitor. It would be faster if I was to move it to our other vehicle, because of having done it once already.

The video monitor offers a clear picture and even works at night. Although night vision is a little creepy, Carters eyes are all black on the video screen, but at least I can still keep an eye on him.

You can adjust the brightness of the video screen so that it isn't too bright for night time driving. There is only one way to install the video monitor; it has a suction cup base, which you can easily take the video screen off, you can also move the screen to the left or right so that both the driver and passenger can view it. The power button is located at the top in between the other buttons. Easy to turn on and off all you need to do is press the power button for a few second to turn on or off.

I have had this video monitor for about a month and a half, and never once has the video monitor or camera fallen off.

The monitor to camera is wireless but both the camera and the video monitor need to be plugged into a car outlet (A.K.A cigarette lighter outlet). If you don't have more then one then you will have to purchase a dual outlet adapter for your car, which are very easy to find: Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Radioshack, Best Buy, Amazon just to name a few different places where you could find one.

My outlet in my vehicle doesn't turn off when I shut off my car, so I have to remember to shut off the video monitor, but it isn't a big deal.

When Cloey and Carter were infants we had a mirror that would be suctioned to the back window, be had to angle it just right to be able to see them in our rear-view mirror. The mirror would fall off all the time, which was more of a hassle than it was worth. Then we got a mirror that was bigger, and had a velcro strap to install it to the head rest of the seat where they were siting. We always had to have a piece of clothing in between the mirror and the headrest to make the mirror at the right angle so we could look in our rear-view mirror to see them. Both of mirrors didn't allow us to view our babies during the night or see them with such clarity during the day.

The one thing I would suggest for the company is to have a zoom feature so that I could adjust how close up or far away I want the picture to be.

I can't wait to try this out with our newborn. I am one of those moms that has to be able to check on my baby at any little peep, or if there hasn't been one for a little while. I can tell this will work so much better then the mirrors we have used in the past. I will be able to glance at my baby while and have peace-of-mind that everything is okay, without having to pull over.

Purex Ultra Packs~Review & Giveaway

As a Purex Insider I was chosen to review Purex Ultra Packets. Purex Ultra Packs are little packets filled with 2 times the concentrated laundry detergent formula with two kinds of stain fighters. The packet dissolves in the washer.
They are very easy to use; before you load your washer with clothes; throw one Purex Ultra Pack in for regular loads or two Purex Ultra Packs, if it is a heavily soiled or large load.
Wash hands after handling the packets. Also want to make sure your hands are completely dry before reaching in the bag, because you don't want to dissolve any of the other packets.

I love this little packets they make it so easy, no measuring. They work really well too. I was a little skeptical because of how small they are, but they work well.

Collapsible salad bowl by Smart Planet ~Review

I received a collapsible salad bowl to review from smart planet.

I think it is great that the utensil folds in-half, so that it can fit in the lid. However it is hard to unfold it and to fold again, to store it. There is also knife on the side of the fork.

The bowl part is made of silicone and it collapses to have its size, all I have to do is push down on the top of it until in collapses, which is done with little effort. Comes with a veggie dish with four compartments (the company calls it a toppings tray), three for veggies and one for dressing, which fits inside on the top of the bowl. It also comes with a salad dressing container, which has an attached lid (see in image below).

The lid to the salad bowl is a little difficult to click to have it shut, and un-click to open.

I am very impressed with the size of the salad bowl when it is open to its full size. I have used the just the veggie container inside the salad bowl, while it was collapsed, a couple of times to have vegetables as a snack.

The salad bowl comes in four colors, is Microwave and Dishwasher safe but not the lid or the toppings container.

Tommee Tippee "Drinking Cup" Review

The 9oz BPA free drinking cup, from Tommee Tippee: My kids have been using them for three weeks now. The cups have been dropped, and thrown and havenever leaked. Who knew there were actually sippy cups out there that truly don't leak and are 100% spill proof.
They are easy to clean and my kids don’t seem to have any issue drinking from them.
The drinking cups are dishwasher safe, doesn't say if only the top rack like many other cups or water bottles that we have tried. We don’t use a dishwasher so it doesn't matter to me anyways, wanted to state that for my readers.
The cups are insulated, to keep drinks colder longer. Cloey calls it her coffee cup because it reminds her of our coffee cups. When she wants the Tommee Tippee drinking cup to drink out of, or if she is looking for it she will ask for her coffee cup. I think that is cute.

I just wish they where a little bigger then 9oz.

I have been busy

I have been really busy lately.
Trying to make sure I am getting everything done that needs to be done. Have a huge to do list that I am slowly checking things off.
I have just started college part-time. I am taking one online class and one at the college.
Cloey started preschool again this past Tuesday. She is going to be going three half days a week. She loves going to school, I am sure she would go almost everyday if they would let her. I hope she always loves school.

Pregnancy:

Going good so far. Had my first ultrasound and my due date is April 6,2014. I have notice my stomach gets upset more then it did when I was pregnant with Cloey or Carter. When I start feeling sick to my stomach, I take a few sips of Dr Pepper and it helps make me feel better. I get hungry more during the day then I use to. I also have to eat when I get hungry because if I wait too long then I start to feel sick.

Cloey is excited to be a big sister again. She says she can't wait to help with everything. She is already worried about what the baby is going to wear and where the baby is going to sleep. She is so cute! Oh and she said that I am having a girl any time she talks about the baby she calls the baby a girl or says her sister. I am sure she will still be happy if the baby is a boy. We won't be able to find that out for a few more months.
Carter just recently started pointing at my belly saying baby while smiling. When he first find out he would say know to me being pregnant.

We went to Santa's Village on Cloey's birthday (August 17th). We invited my parents and my brother to come along to join in on the fun.

We decided to bring our own lunch and drinks because we new it would be cheaper. They allow you to bring in food and drinks, which is really nice when you are on a budget for family fun. We ate at the playground area so Cloey and Carter could play while we made the sandwiches.

We specially ordered Cloey a birthday cake from Price Chopper and brought it with us in our round cooler. We didn't end up having any of it because we were full from lunch. We brought it home and enjoyed it the next night.

I remember extra outfits but forgot the swimsuits for my kids. It is okay though because I let them play and then changed them into the extra outfit I brought. Carter was cold by the time we were done at the water park but still didn't want to leave. Cloey wasn't really into it.

When we took the train ride that goes around the park, my dad want to sit and wait for us to come back, but Carter continued to yell for papa and tell him to come now, so I decided I would go ask dad if he would please come, because Carter really wanted him to. My dad decided to go on the train ride and Carter had to sit on his lap.

We only went on a few rides and only once. By 3pm Carter was so tired and falling asleep and all the lines where a far back so we decided we had enough fun and left. It was totally worth going. This time we had our kids get the card from the elf university, they both got all the elves so they got to get a diploma, an A+ on their cards and a key chain.

Picnic at my dad's work with my kids

My mother called me this morning and asked if I had any plans with my kids today, because she wanted us to go with her for a picnic.
We decided we wanted to go up to my dad's work place. He works at a private club, where he does maintenance of the grounds, buildings, boats and feeds the fish. It is really nice and peaceful where he works. The only reason we are allowed to go walk around this private club is because my dad works there. Normally it cost money to become a member. Only family and friends of members can go to the club and only if the member is present.

We walked to a nice private bench and ate lunch. My dad came to visit us after he had lunch and was still on break.

Even at my dad's work; my dad managed to spoil my kids, with a cookie.

My mother brought a couple of blankets for us to sit on, but we didn't need to because we found a bench.

When my dad meet us he pulled up on his four wheeler, he uses to get around his work place.
Cloey and Carter were both interested in it.

Cloey wanted a turn to sit on it, so papa helped her get on.

Then they both wanted to site on the four wheeler together. Carter kept trying to start it; he turned the key, and pressed the gas but nothing would happen.

My dad decided to show Carter what button to press, then Carter got it started.

Which scared Cloey and Carter, then Carter wanted off. The four wheeler was in neutral and the brake was on, so there wasn't any way of going anywhere.

After a few minutes my dad had to get back to work, lunch break was over. My mother, brother, my kids and I all went for a walk on a path. There are many trails there. We didn't take a trail though we walk on one of the paths my dad drives the four wheeler on to go feed the fish. I checked out one of the trails and there were too many roots from the trees for me to get around with the double stroller.
During our walk my mother kept stopping to take pictures of wild mushrooms. Every time she stopped, Carter would yell to her telling her to come on now and when she wouldn't he would say "nana, time out!".

We had a lot of laughs and got a little work out. It was a nice way to spend a good part of our day.
While we were enjoying nature my dad was busy splitting firewood, with a wood splitter. We got to watch him get a couple of logs cut up. It was interesting. Now I will have a more accurate image in my head when my dad is talking about his work, he loves his job.

Yochi Yochi Shoes Review

I received a pair of Yochi Yochi shoes to review for my blog. The moment I got them out of the box my son caught a peak of them, and wanted them. We were still in our vehicle, he was buckled in his car-seat, I handed them to him. He proceeded to take of his shoes and put on his Yochi Yochi shoes, which by my surprise he was able to complete without any help, he even got them on the correct feet.

The first thing that came to mind is how cute they look and even cuter that they squeak. Carter really enjoys the squeak factor. He runs around and wants to walk so he can hear them. Carter likes be held most of the time, while taking little walks or while in a store. Which can be a good thing because I always know where he is, but he gets heavy after awhile.

Carter's friend Mason has a pair of Yochi Yochi shoes as well and I feel that it is important to mention that his have stop squeaking, after he played in the sand box.

I took Cloey and Carter to the playground one night to help pass some time before dinner. While we were there we got many complements on how cute Carter's shoes were. I told everyone that commented on them what the brand was, so they could look it up and get a pair for there kids. This shoes are really handy to have if your little one likes to try and sneak off, as if they were playing a game. I know my son likes to, but even when he is trying to tiptoe, to be quite, he can't because his shoes give him away.
My mother's first reaction was how cute and annoying. I explained to her that at least I will always know where he is. During the moment of me telling her that, Carter was trying to sneak around the vehicles and to the road, but he didn't get to because each step he took gave away his whereabouts.

After only wearing his shoes for four days (of course taking them off inside), has some how loss one of the cloths to bottom, of the inside of his shoe. (See picture) It doesn't seem to effect the shoes, just the look of the inside. Carter still likes to wear them. This is the only issue we have had with his shoes, they still squeak!

I do wish that the shoes had the size of the shoes marked inside or one the bottom of the shoe, so that if I forgot what size they were I could always look at them to find out. When I received the shoes they came with little stickers that said the size but they came off.

Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar ~ Review/Giveaway

I am a Purex insider. One of the benefits are getting a chance to test Purex products. I was selected to receive one Purex Fels-Naptha laundry bar to review.

I couldn't wait to try it out, but I had just done my laundry, so I had to wait a few days for the first chance.

I am weird, but I couldn't wait for something to get on one of my kids clothes, husbands or mine, because I wanted to try it out and see how well it work. I didn't deliberately try to get rust on my pants. It happened because I moved my husbands chain out of the way in the back of our truck, so I could put our groceries there. I forgot that I got rust on my hand and I rub my pants, to wipe off a little dirt which got rust on my pants. This is what gave me a reason to try the Purex Fel-Naptha laundry bar. My kids played in their little wagon outside this past week and got their pants all rust on the back. My husband hasn't sanded, primed and painted it yet, which is why it is rusted. When we got inside I had them change out of there pants. I then wet the pants and rubbed the purex fel-naptha laundry bar on them, washed and dried them. The rust came out, I was surprised and happy. I should have taken pictures but I was busy trying to get dinner started and make sure their pants didn't stain, because we had just bought recently. I husband painted the wagon two days after this happen, good man!

Carter's shirt, I forgot that he had gotten stuff on it so it sat in the Laundry basket for a couple of days, I didn't think this was coming out.

Purex Fels-Naptha can also be used as a laundry booster if you use a cheese grater and grate some into your washer; I have a top load HE washer, so I fill my washer with water then grate some of the Purex Fels-Naptha bar into it then add clothes, because it uses less water and if I put it on top of the clothes I don't know that it is going to get all dissolved.

To use as a stain remover. I first wet the stain then rub the Purex Fels-Naptha laundry bar on it, rubbing it back and forth and covering the stain, then let it set for a couple of minutes and wash as normal.

Pregnant!

We found out that we are expecting again. It is funny how not even a year ago I said that we were done. See old post click here

I am very happy that I didn't get fixed after I had Carter, even though back at that time I was so sure that I was done having kids.
Then came February, of this year, my husband and I discussed maybe wanting to have another baby. We went back and forth with the decision and I thought I was okay with not having another one. Then I guess you could say I got baby fever. The thought have having another baby wouldn't get out of my head. We talked about it again a few months later and decided I would stop taking birth control. It took us two months to get pregnant. We are one of the fortunate ones (not bragging).

We took a test on the night of my husbands birthday. My parents were watching our kids, so that we could have a date night. We went out for a nice relaxing dinner. That night we decided to buy four test we bought two at the dollar store (dollar tree) and two First Response at Walmart. I took a Clear Blue Easy test the morning before and got a "not pregnant" result, but my husband wanted me to test again. I remember clear blue easy was great for finding out I was pregnant for Cloey, but with Carter I tested the day before I was expecting my period and got a negative with two tests, so I went out and bought a first response and got a positive. I should have just bought first response to begin with and not wasted my money. So we got home and I took one of the dollar store tests which says two minutes for results, a minute went by nothing was showing up. Then two minutes, I picked it up and focused on it to see if there was another line, I tilted it and I thought I saw a line, my husband takes it looks at it and says excitedly: "Yeah, there's a fucking line right there!" I asked him if he thought I should take one of the First Response ones, because we were originally planning on me taking one in the morning, and he said yes. I used the same urine I collected, in a disposable cup, I dip the first response test into it for the amount of time it required and then laid it flat on the bathroom counter. The positive line showed up before the control line could show up!!! Yes! PREGNANT!!!

I had to text my friend, Blake, right away to tell her the fantastic news!!!! Then I talked with my husband and said I wanted to see how long we could go without tell people. Well not long because I couldn't wait to tell Cloey because I knew she would be happy, and if I told her she would tell everyone else!
Cloey says she can't wait to meet her sister, and every time she talks about the baby she says "she". I told Cloey we don't know what we are having yet, we won't know that for a while, but she won't stop calling the baby a girl. I honestly don't mind one way or the other, I just want a healthy baby.

So a question I keep asking myself is:
Should I change the name of my blog? I feel like it doesn't fit anymore, because we are going to have three. Don't think I should name my blog based on the number of my kids because you never know. ;)

Will update about pregnancy and how it is going after my first mid-wife visit.
