Wow long time no post. Hope everyone is doing well. There have been quite a few changes in my life since my last post.

I Miss Online Poker. I miss it so freaking bad. Sure I have 2 casinos about and hour away but it was so nice and easy to be able to login and play for an hour or 2 and not have to drive and hour home afterwords.

I am Hoping this will be the year our elected officials get their heads out of their collective asses and figure out a way to get online poker back up and running in some form.

Legalize Marijuana or Pot? Not such a Crazy Idea is it?

So Some Crazy California State Senator thinks that Legalizing and Taxing Marijuana might be a good way to raise some money.

"The story SF Weekly broke on Friday is true: Assemblyman Tom Ammiano will announce legislation on Monday to legalize marijuana and earn perhaps $1 billion annually by taxing it. Quintin Mecke, Ammiano's press secretary, confirmed to SF Weekly that the assemblyman's 10 a.m. Monday press conference regarding "new legislation related to the state's fiscal crisis" will broach the subject of reaping untold -- and much-needed -- wealth from the state's No. 1 cash crop. Mecke said Ammiano's proposed bill "would remove all penalties in California law on cultivation, transportation, sale, purchase, possession, or use of marijuana, natural THC, or paraphernalia for persons over the age of 21.

The bill would additionally prohibit state and local law officials from enforcing federal marijuana laws. As for Step Two -- profit -- Ammiano's bill calls for "establishing a fee on the sale of marijuana at a rate of $50 per ounce." Mecke said that would bring in roughly $1 billion for the state, according to estimates made by marijuana advocacy organizations. "

Jezus H Christ, I thank god that someone gets it. 1 Billion a year for the state of California from Taxes But instead Why do we spend Billions of dollars fighting a problem when the real solution is to leaglize it and tax the shit out of it like we do with Ciggarettes and Alcohol Both of which are Drugs that Kill Far more People every day than Marijuana ever will.

Today I saw this Headline "San.Francisco Sheriff: Decriminalize Marijuana Now".

See here is a Law Enforcement Officer who understands what his job is about. Protecting the People of his city from real crimes. Not to say there isn't crime associated with Marijuana but I think It is reasonable to assume if you remove the Black Market you will remove a good deal of the crime also.

Now that we have a New President who has Smoked Pot and Admitted it publicly We should see a relaxing of the posture from our Overgrown Government in relation to Marijuana and its enforcement by Law Enforcement Officers.

Marijuana Still not Legal in Massachusetts

But we are pretty damn close. Today is January 2nd and Question 2 takes effect today. Yes It is still Illegal to smoke or posses marijuana but you will no longer be subject to arrest for less than 1 ounce, the New Penalty's are as follows.

Specific Provisions

The measure enacted the following provisions:

Replace criminal penalties with a US$100 fine of which the proceeds go to the city where the offense takes place.

Eliminate collection of Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) reports for minor infractions.

Maintain current penalties for selling, growing, and trafficking marijuana, as well as the prohibition against driving under the influence of marijuana.

The law requires additional penalties for minors not in current law such as Parental notification, compulsory drug awareness program, 10 hours community service, and a larger fine of $1,000. In addition, possible delinquency proceedings for those under 17 if the requirements are not completed.

The law represents a break with current Massachusetts law, where people charged with marijuana possession face criminal penalties of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine, and a CORI report is filed.

Awsome isn't it? Even though it is still Illegal the penalty's are right about where I think they belong.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Today is one of my favorite Holidays. Why cause it has absolutely nothing to do with religion and everything to do with Family and friends.

So the Eagles Played to an almost sold out DCU center in Worcester, Mass. The show was a little over 3 hours They opened with 4 songs off their new album(Long Road Out of Eden) but then out came all the songs we have grown up with. The 4th song was Hotel California and the only thing missing was the smell of marijuana floating thru the air. These guys are pushing 60 (Don Henley — Date of Birth: July 22, 1947, Glenn Lewis Frey. Born, November 6, 1948) and can they still bring it. If you closed your eyes you could have sworn the Cd was Playing. I swear Don Henley looks like harvey keitel aka The Wolf from Pulp fiction. I wanted to Pull a Pulp Fiction and Waste those Mother fuckers behind us. I mean these people were not only loud they talked thru the whole first set Normally I would have said something but they were Co workers of my wife and we didn't pay for the seats so I Kept Quiet and tried to enjoy the show.

I usually find myself leaving concerts these days saying Damn that was LOUD but the Eagles have figured out their sound, so they sound Fantastic. Not to loud not to soft kinda then way it should be instead of the Music being so fucking loud you can barely hear the Vocals. My wife turned to me and said wow they can sure Harmonize and I looked at her and said The are the Fucking Eagles of course they can Harmonize.

The only glitch of the night was when they came back from intermission and none of the Microphones had been turned back on so Don Henley was Singing but no one could hear but the crowd filled in admirably.

Tonight after we have all eaten too much We have the Bodonkey Blogger Series at 9:05 on Bodog Poker and "The Great one" Dr Pauly is hosting a tourney on Pokerstars.

I know I will be in the Bodonkey But I have no funds on stars. So if anyone wants to swap me $6 on stars for full tilt I would be might Grateful My stars name is "wwonka" I promise not to Pull a Donkette.

Bodog bodonkey Blogger Series 2nd Place Luckbox

Welcome to the Donkey Show.

I Took 2nd last night in The Bodonkey on Bodog poker. Thats right I was sitting here in my Home In Worcester Mass, and I Played Online Poker at Bodog. Why because Bodog Poker and Casino is the Premier Place to play online Poker.

Lets just say I got lucky a few times then managed to play pretty tight till I had a stack then I Ramped it up a bit and took advantage of the short stacks who might have been trying to hang on till the points. I don't know why but the different site throws me off from how certain people play.

Its funny I went thru stretches of either crazy cards or completely dead. Now what are the odds of getting dealt KK 3 STRAIGHT TIMES? Yes this happened to me but sadly it was at my first table probably in the first blinds round and no one did anything stupid so I ended up with not much for such great cards.

Once we got to the Final Table I managed to catch a few hands and take out the first 2 and was sitting on a Huge chip lead like 35k when everyone else had like 10-15k with Icrushbloggers (ghey name) the only other big stack till he donked out as usual.

Its funny I ended up HU with salex77 with him having a 55k-43k advantage and the blinds were still low enough to allow us some play. I really thought I had him a few times. I had chipped away and taken the lead with some really aggressive HU play to the point I had 73k to his like 24k but he won a big swing pot where we switched places. I did managed to chip back up into the 30k range then we got it in with Me holding AT and him with A7 and the 7 on the river gave him the well deserved win.

You really have to hand it to Bodog for Putting on such a Great tournament series for us Poker Bloggers. First they give us great add-ons to the prize Pool with the Bonus T$ dollars, Then they pay the 3 bubble spots their money back and they are throwing a Freeroll for the Best of the Bodonkey at the end.

Not that My Bankroll on Full Tilt can Support it But I am Defiantly out of the Mookie Tonight since I will be at the Eagles Concert at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Just in case you are not sure of how to pronounce it, it is WooStah.

I Want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Poker I didn't even touch her, Mohegan Sun Fun

Welcome to the Donkey Show.

Forgive me for I have sinned. It has been 5 days since my last post. I Almost posted but then I didn't, Not like any of my 5 readers missed this useless drivel anyway But since I have last been here I Turned almost 40(39) and went to Mohegan Sun with RakeFeeder.

The Trip to Mohegan was fun since I didn't lose money for the first time in awhile.We both Played the 7:30p.m. tourney but busted out 2 tables short of the money. but not a bad tourney with starting stacks of 10k with 20 minute levels for $120.

I then played 1/2 nl for the next 7 hours moving to Rakefeeder's table about 30 minutes in and stayed there all night.after my tourney bust out. This table was interesting. I was in the 10 seat with Rakefeeder in the 7. All the Decent Players were at our end and All the bad Players were down at the 1,2,3,4 seats. When I sat down the kid in the 9's was a decent young player and his girlfriend was Pretty to boot. in the 8's was this loose guy in his mid 50's Rakefeeder said he had 3k but he only left with probably 1.5k he liked to play alot of hands I mean probably 70% easy. The best thing about Mohegan Sun's NEW POKER ROOM is that they do not have a Time charge. So I don't mind waiting for my spots against these Aggro folks because it isn't costing me $10 out of my stack every hour.

I did tilt a bit when Rakefeeder Chased to the river with his T9? and spiked his trip T on the river, and yes I paid him off after he led for $80, He asked me why I called but with all the money in the pot and the table had been weird with lots of showdowns with Weird 1 pair hands I thought he might be value betting his smaller 1 pair since the other person was on a flush draw (all Nite) and didn't get there. The Whole thing really was my fault for not raising more on the turn. The lady was on a flush draw and once she called it was an easy call for RakeFeeder.

So the next hand I admit I was tilting and I think someone raised to $10 and with like everyone calling that raise peek and see JJ and since I am Somewhat Tilting I raise to $50 and get 5 callers. flop come Q56 2 clubs. I check as do the next 2 then this loose guy shoves for like 300+ So I fold and watch as he flips over 3c4c and rakes the $300 pot. Nice hand. Ok I did eventually refocus without spewing anymore chips. after those 2 hands instead of being up $450 I am only up $60

At 1 point during the nite 3-5 we were playing 5 or 6 handed which was fun since you can play more hands and it is way better with the reads you get with playing live that and having decent position in the game. I had Rake Feeder 3 to my right and the really loose guy with like 2K+ was 2 seat to my right and after he left the loose guy with 34c was to Rakefeeder's right. I find position is huge when short handed so i was able to benefit and end up leaving the table +200 after paying off my tourney Buyin.

I was going to go to Mohegan Sun This Wednesday but my wife got 2 FREE Tickets to go see the Eagles and I do Not Mean the Sucky EAGLES in Philadelphia. I have always been a huge Eagles fan but I an not about to spend $160 bucks for tickets no fucking way. so This was sweet now if we can only find a babysitter, I was looking on the Eagles site and I now Live in Worcester, Maine apparently not Worcester Mass.

Rakefeeder the girls would love for you to be the one let me know if your interested.

Yeah thats right I am Now 1 Year Closer to death, Wait thats a line from a Pink Floyd tune But really why do we continue to keep track after say 21. I mean after you turn 21 it is all down hill from there. Seriously your able to Legally drink yourself into a Souther Comfort Enduced Coma, Yes I tried and have not Drank Southern Comfort since that fateful night, when I thought 9 shots in 2o minutes would be no big deal, Now it might be ok for ALCan'thang But not to someone of my background cause Jews and Blacks have never been great drinkers. Just ask Reggie White, out talents lie in other areas.

Well anyways I am another year older and Hopefully another year wiser. I am going to need it since my Oldest Daughter just turned 1o years old last week. Just in case you don't have kids here is a tip There is nothing like kids to make you realize just how old and out of touch you really are.

Maybe this will be the year I figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

RealPokerTraining was having a Tourney with a $109 buyin to the sunday 100k for $5 bucks.

Lets just say I ran Good early then not so good in the middle then Decent again at the end. 1st prize was like $61 + T109 so I have more than doubled my Bankroll on bodog and pretty much payed for the rest of the bodog Blogger series.

Votes Could Signal Shift Under New Administration

(Washington, D.C.) With several landmark marijuana initiatives on ballots today — including a proposal to protect Michigan medical marijuana patients from arrest and another to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana in Massachusetts — officials with the Marijuana Policy Project are available for comment and analysis election night and throughout the week. With a new administration coming into the White House, the votes — which also include city and county measures in Arkansas, California and Hawaii — could presage a national shift in direction on marijuana policy.

MPP will have representatives available for on-camera interviews in Washington, San Francisco and Boston, where MPP executive director Rob Kampia will speak at the victory celebration for Question 2, the decriminalization initiative.

If passed, the MPP-supported Proposal 1 in Michigan would make the state the 13th in the country — and the first in the Midwest — to protect patients from arrest for using medical marijuana if their physicians recommend it. Passage would mean that one in four Americans lives in a state allowing medical marijuana.

Massachusetts’ Question 2 would treat adult possession of an ounce or less of marijuana as a civil violation, carrying a $100 fine similar to a routine traffic violation. By treating small marijuana violations as a civil — rather than criminal — infraction, those caught with small amounts of marijuana would avoid the harsh consequences of a criminal arrest that can hinder a person for life. This includes access to opportunities such as employment, student aid, housing assistance and food stamps.

Patriots Lose a Close one and Election Day Is Upon us.

Yes on 2 in Massachusetts.

The Patriots Lost a close game last Nite to the Indianapolis Colts 18-15 it what I can only describe as frustrating to watch. The Patriots certainly had their chances to win this game but couldn't make the big play or Catch wide open TD Pass.

But I have to say I am pretty happy with where the Patriots are at the half way point. which is 5-3 and Matt Cassell is getting better every week.

I don't know about anyone else but I will sure be glad when this Election is over. I live in Massachusetts but we have had to put up with the Ads for New Hampshire's Political Races in addition to our own. I just want it to be over.

Sadly the Republicans are doing anything they can to try and steal this Election like they did 8 years ago.

Honestly I don't think McCain has much of a chance but anything is possible right? I mean the Giants Beat the Patriots and that was a sure thing right?

Damm just finished a $2 18 man Turbo SNG on Full Tilt poker and even though I got it in with the Best I couldn't win the Heads Up Match when my 44 lost to 33.

My Bankroll is now up to $28 from $4 a few weeks ago. I have Played $1 and $2 sngs with a few Matrix sngs thrown in for kicks.

I gotta tell you that the $2 sngs are pretty soft if I can manage to do ok then that should tell you something.

Patriots To Lose to the Colts tonight

Yeah thats not going to happen or maybe it will, the Line is Colts -4 and I am inclined to bet the Patriots since I guarantee that they will not repeat the Chargers Beating of a few weeks ago. I expect the Patriots to show up tonight and play a physical game with the Colts and send them to an early grave. I will admit that this game means alot more to the colts than it does the Patriots since even with a loss they are still laying for 1st place in the division next week where as the colts if they lose will be 3-6 and 5 games behind in the division and needing to win 6 of the next 8 to make the playoffs.

Hey Smokkee good news today the Chargers didn't lose.
