I've been looking for the right slip-on since this last few months. It's not easy to find one which have nice design but comfy enough to wear for hours. I've tried some designs, most of them are broken easily when I wear it too long. I often wear flats for traveling and am the walkers type, can stroll around the city from the sun rise till the sun set =))

So when i accidentally find Rivieras Shoes at Central Dept. Store, I'm already amaze with their options. Lots of colors with different fabrics and light as well. Then I heard they also open their new store at Plaza Indonesia Extension level 4 so I took a visit and tried several types. Been explained that each shoes are hand crafted manually by the artisan that's why you can find slights differences from one model to another. Cool right?!

The most important factor, Rivieras invent the breathable shoes. There are 3 types: 10, 20 and 30 degree.The higher the degree, the more holes the shoes have, and the more breathable they are. This will prevent your feet from humidity and less sweat. After some minutes I finally chose the Montecristi Marine type (see above). Am happy with my choice and personally recommended this brand. Meanwhile will let you guys drool over this picture.

Hello.. Do I still have readers here? Haha.. My last post was on Dec and it's almost April now.. Don't you think our daily life and time are chasing each other? There are times where I think to stop blogging and have Instagram posts instead. But this blogspot is the channel that brought me to meet lots of new friends. So I don't want to shut down my baby. Hopefully I still have some spare time to update more this year.

Well this is my last outfit post with my long hair. Yesterday i perm and cut it, still need to add colors but cant do it directly. Probably will do it next wednesday. So stay tune for my next post with my new hair >.<

You might heard this a lot how fast 2014 is right? for me personally its really really fast.. Lots of great things happened in my life, such as :

1. Got married with my 8yrs boyfriend and move to his house

2. Had a fun and beautiful honeymoon at Bangkok and Samui Island

4. Did my 1st 10K at Jakarta Marathon

5. Resigned and moved to another company

I bet you guys had a marvelous year as well, for those who think 2014 treat you unfairly, stand up coz 2015 is coming in seconds so be positive be optimist and great things will come toward you.

Another outfit post from my Bandung trip. The highlight is the top from ED-JEH, this jumper is really fun.. They got 2 zippers at the sleeves that you can play around, you can take it off so it become 3/4 sleeves or 1/2 sleeves.. But for this shoot I'm not fully unzip them so that the elbow and wrist can sneak out a bit ;)

Outer is one of my favorite fashion item besides shorts and necklace. Right now i'm into the long outer with calf length.. Since we don't have winter, I cant wear coat too often especially the one with calf length aka overcoat =( so i choose lighter material like this knit outerwear.. Besides knit there also another option like chiffon for more flowy effect. And by mixing it with shorts the whole look can be more summerish. Well for the side braid, simply because i'm having a bad hair day ='D

Looking at these photos made me realize how big my thighs are. Since the marriage life, i eat whatever i want. Have to diet but don't know when to start coz i'm enjoying comfort food too much *phew

This time am going to share about WRP at Jakarta Fashion Week, collaborate with Billy Tjong second line named BOW. They are an all red collection, mainly body hugging dresses which can build instant confidence ;) some of you might remember WRP advertising “sure you can do” right? Strawberry my favorite!

The most colorful week just finished, yes am talking about Jakarta Fashion Week 2015. Indonesia’s best designers gathered there (you can find my live report at my instagram, click HERE). I watched several shows and Urocks Jakarta Fashion Week by Heavenly Blush, WRP and Bow by Billy Tjong is one of them. Gonna share about Billy Tjong and Heavenly blush collaboration first (next post will about Billy’s collab with WRP). It’s a white on white collection with sparks of colors which hand painted by Billy himself inspired by heavenly blush flavor, strawberry, blackcurrant and peach. They are very feminine but also fun at the same time. Cropped tops, mini skirts and the dresses are so easy to love so easy to wear, you can mixed it with any bags or shoes since white is a neutral color.

Talking about Heavenly Blush, have you tried their beverage? We used to know Heavenly Blush with their frozen yogurt but right now they also have yogurt drink that already available at Heavenly Blush outlets and super/minimarket like Carrefour, Indomaret, etc. Strawberry is my favorite flavor! I often to buy it during office hour to boost up my mood ;) the sweet sour taste is very yummy and best served when its cold.. Right now they add 2 new flavors, blackcurrant and peach that already available in the market. New addition to the family =)) great thing about this yogurt drink is it’s easy to bring and healthy. Hi-calcium, low fat and less sugar! Who won’t love it?! For those who don’t favor milk, can switch their option to this drink. Trust me we do really need calcium since our young age so that when we grow older, we’ll have strong bones.. For the sake of our future =)) so what is your favorite flavor? Few months ago I had a big test in my relationship. We had a big fight and all i can think (during that time) is do i still want to do this (wedding)? Is he? I read, heard and saw friends, relatives said that during the wedding preparation there must be stuffs that will test our relationship, we both might argue a lot. He want it this way, I want it that way. And the worst thing is break up could be the decision. I already told myself since the day he proposed me. Ok gricia you have to ready because not only sweets but bitter experience is upon you and you got to ready to handle them because this is happens to all relationship. You can do this! But (not so) surprisingly i almost forgot the reminder i gave to myself.

At first we (bride to be) had butterflies in our stomach, can't stop smiling thinking about we're going to build a family with the man of our life. But sometimes we didn't prepared ourself to the obstacles that will come and go and come again during the journey to the big day. I just want to tell you all bride to be out there, when you had a big fight that might or almost "kill" your relationship, of course feel free to yelling, crying and pour your heart content to him but then take some time to really really think.. Why you said "i do" at the first? Think about reasons why you love him so much, think about why you want to spend the rest of your life with him, think about why you want him to be the father for your children. Those reasons will bring back your conscious and eventually you both will back to each other. That is true love. Hey so many things needs to be settled for the wedding right. So stand up and lets do this!!

Can’t believe that time is running so fast.. Feels like yesterday he proposed me (which actually around last mid year) and next month is already our wedding reception!! All of our preparation to the Big Day finished around 90% I might say.. And I can say proudly that we did it quite smooth because we know what we want, we set budget properly =) Yes.. what else is the most important thing to prepare besides budget right? (well of course love, mentality include but lets just talk the reality) Budget will be the most often topic to discuss with our “husband to be” during the day after he proposed us (woman) until the Big Day.. =D

This blog post is specially dedicated for those who are going to get married ;) Let me share 3 most important items that you should put on your top list when you & your “husband to be” preparing the wedding reception.

1. Venue: Both of you have to make an agreement to each other before you discuss to your parents about how you both want this reception will be and how far you both willing to adjust to the parents requests. Because from stories I heard (happened to me as well) sometimes the parents want stuffs that one of you might won’t agree. So how many invitees is the first thing to decide. After that you can browse on website like bridestory.com to find what kind of venue you both want (hotel ballroom / function room / restaurants / indoor or outdoor), you’ll find it helpful because the photos in the website are very updated from each venue based on the wedding projects they had. Bridestory.com has “save” button for you to save several photos you like and then you can compare those venues because you want to see them back and forth right?! After decided let say your top 5 venues, next thing is you can go to the “email” button to request pricelist for wedding package (to check if the package match your budget), after that you can visit the venues you both agreed to check.

2. Bridal: Men can wear a fine suit or tux then voila they looked handsome. But women! So many options of gown shapes we have to pick that’s why choosing the right bridal or designer is on my number 2 list. It’s a long path to walk dear :’) If you have extra budget you can have a custom made wedding gown because it will designed based on your body shape, you can discuss every detail about it. Perfect for the perfectionist one. Hehe.. In my case, I choose to rent the wedding gown.. I have visited lots of bridals.. And it’s a good thing to do because you can compare prices & try the styles at each bridal had.. When you click to bridestory.com and choose bridal you can filter the options by click the budget button. It will take you directly to bridals / designers that match your budget (if you have to googling and sort one by one it’s too tiring and when you find out the one you like is off the budget that’s quite pathetic right so just click the filter that’s already provided).

3. Make up artist: It’s not easy to find the right make up artist (MUA), their hand job is very personal. The result for one to another can be different.. They called it cocok-cocokan in bahasa =P great thing that I found at bridestory.com is (again) the updated photos.. We can check the latest project of each make up artist. My suggestion is if you already choose several make up artists, try them one by one when you have special occasion. So that you’ll know if you feel click or not.. Yes you can get free trial when you booked a MUA but if you don’t like the free trial you will hesitate and feel not sure with how you’ll look during the Big Day but cannot do anything because you already put DP to the MUA unless it’s ok for you to cancel the booking which mean the DP cannot be refund. Best thing is read the reviews, check the latest creation of the MUA is it consistently good or not, compare the before and after result. After that, have a trial. That’s why I put MUA as the top 3 because you need to have enough time to try several MUAs.

So that’s all for now. Hopefully this blog post will be helpful. I’m planning to have another one about (not so) small things on wedding. Just stay tune guys!

At my age, receiving wedding invitations is often happens, more over working in media makes me routinely attend events like product launching, gathering, etc. That's why picking the right dress is an issue for me. If I want to buy some cocktail dress from local designers or a wellknown brand it took me at least 1.5 to 2 million rupiahs right? Brokeee... Last April is such a busy month for Urban Icon's Team i guessed. After launched the liebeskind pop up store, they also launch Urban Icon's brand new look at Grand Indonesia. This is the first Urban Icon store that utilizes a new concept developed by a tremendous up and coming local design firm called Domisiliam Studio.

The most visible change is the industrial look with a more homey feeling. I can feel it through the use of warm lighting, wood material on the floor and furniture and the store is also spacey. Very comfortable to strolling around the store. As an additional there will be a specially designed mural behind the cashier table. Each store will have different images representing its local area. The Grand Indonesia store will be painted with familiar streets like Kebon Sirih and Tanah Abang. Fun!

Urban Icon wants to create an atmosphere where the customer can easily consult their fashion needs with the team as well as those who want to just browse casually on their own. As Matthew Mendelsohn, GM of Time International said, "For us, Urban Icon and retail in general is something we look at in a more human way. It's not about whether you make the most money but how you treat your guests that really counts. Hospitality and friendliness have always been key parts of our brand and mission; this store merely serves to reinforce that notion in the clearest possible way." Can't be more agree with this.
