Founded by Lord Michael Heseltine in December 1992, the regional Business Link advice centres are to be scrapped by the end of 2012. According to a report previously published in the Telegraph, the Government  confirmed that it is to be replaced by “an improved website and call centre” which will become operational from April 2012.
