The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the best fighter air craft in the world. Its capable of doing all types of missions. Its a twin-engine, canard-delta wing, multirole fighter. The Typhoon was designed and is manufactured by a consortium of Alenia Aermacchi (Leonardo since 2017), Airbus, and BAE Systems that conducts the majority of the project through a joint holding company, Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH formed in 1986. NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency manages the project and is the prime customer.

The aircraft's development effectively began in 1983 with the Future European Fighter Aircraft programme, a multinational collaboration among the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Disagreements over design authority and operational requirements led France to leave the consortium to develop the Dassault Rafale independently. A technology demonstration aircraft, the British Aerospace EAP, first took flight on 6 August 1986; the first prototype of the finalised Eurofighter made its first flight on 27 March 1994. The aircraft's name, Typhoon, was adopted in September 1998; the first production contracts were also signed that year.

Political issues in the partner nations significantly protracted the Typhoon's development; the sudden end of the Cold War reduced European demand for fighter aircraft, and debate existed over the aircraft's cost and work share. The Typhoon entered operational service in 2003; it has entered service with the air forces of Austria, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Saudi Arabia. The air forces of Oman and Kuwait are export customers, bringing the procurement total to 599 aircraft as of 2016.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a highly agile aircraft, designed to be a supremely effective dogfighter in combat. Later production aircraft have been increasingly better equipped to undertake air-to-surface strike missions and to be compatible with an increasing number of different armaments and equipment, including Storm Shadow and the RAF's Brimstone. The Typhoon had its combat debut during the 2011 military intervention in Libya with the UK's Royal Air Force and the Italian Air Force, performing aerial reconnaissance and ground-strike missions. The idea is that men find themselves in a society that seeks to benefit women and that they want to check out and go their own way.

Agree that feminism has gone too far and can understand why men would feel frustrated. If they want to go their own way, support that, no one should force them to be with women if they don't want to. My initial impression of MGTOW was not one of offense, anger or anything else. It was just merely "wow, looks like feminism has really gone too far. Don't blame them for being fed up".

But then when you start looking further at their website or some of the things they say, it becomes increasingly clear that misogyny is something that is very much tolerated among their community. think it's totally possible to be a member of MGTOW and not be a misogynist but at the same time I see that misogyny is something that is very much tolerated and even encouraged. Like feminism it has its stated purpose and mission but then its actions, speak a completely different message.

Even Karen Straughen, who came out in support of MGTOW, is an avid anti feminist and quite often speaks about men's issues through A Voice for Men and her YouTube channel, was attacked by members of MGTOW telling her that she has no right to impede because women are not allowed.

When Women Against Feminism came out, another group of women that came out against feminism and in protest of the way feminism has demonized men, they were misconstrued as trying to "get men to come back", being fake essentially. The fact that there's a group of people out there who misconstrue anything a woman does as being about manipulating them, is incredibly egotistical. According to them, any woman, who has issues with the feminist movement, are fake and only saying the things we do not because we actually care but because we're trying to get men to like us.

But the whole idea of MGTOW seems to be "all women are manipulative sluts who are trying to hurt men and make their lives difficult" and therefore, literally anything a woman does is misconstrued as manipulation whether she's a feminist, anti feminist, or a 16 year old student. By virtue of having a vagina, was born innately evil.

They're also incredibly intolerant of damn near everyone. Gay people, trans people, even male abuse victims. You'd think, who would be the perfect candidates for such a movement? Well probably the men who were abused or harmed by a woman they cared about. Oh, no, no, no. These men are considered weak, pathetic cowards, ridiculed and dismissed at the drop of a hat. What about gay men who don't want to have relationships with women? No, no. The gays aren't welcomed here.

Essentially it just appears to be a movement of hate against women and men deemed "weak". There doesn't seem to be anything helpful or actually productive coming out of MGTOW that actively helps men or fights for men's rights in any way shape or form. It just seems to breed hate.

If saw MGTOW actually start doing some real advocacy for men's rights and help the men who need it rather than just making fun of them.

Anytime someone turns 90, it’s a cause for celebration, even if that said someone is an animated rodent. Mickey Mouse is celebrating his 90th anniversary this year and Google wants you to celebrate with them as well by introducing new treats that you can enjoy both online and offline.

If you live in New York or will be visiting anytime soon, you can visit the Mickey: The True Original Exhibition that will run until February 10. It explores the impact that Walt Disney’s titular character has made on arts and various creative forms. But if you can’t make it to NYC before then, there is also an interactive experience that you can explore in your own living room if you have a Google Home Mini.

Just tell your Google Assistant, “Hey Google, play Mickey’s Game Show” and you and your friends can play a trivia game by teaming up with Mickey’s other friends, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, or Goofy. Or if you want to play a game with Mickey himself, just say “Hey Google, play Mickey Mouse Adventure.”

The Teaser Trailer for #ToyStory4 has officially dropped and we couldn't help but smile the whole way through. While we thought that Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending, we can't deny that we are excited to see our childhood favorites grace the screen again! Bring on Summer 2019!

Well apparently Disney disagrees and have a better ending in mind because this is confirmed as the final movie. I’m all for one of the best movies of my childhood giving me one last movie as an adult.

New Diablo game announced at Blizcon

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, the news are getting people up in a torch and pitchfork kind of mood. Current announcement trailers have a like/dislike ratio of 1/30, at nearly 300 000 dislikes. Welcome to the Starwars Battlefront of 2018.

The Diablo fanbase, especially at Blizzcon, can be assumed at this time to be fairly heavily committed to PC / console. Telling a heavily PC / console biased crowd that they've come to hear about a mobile title is... one really has to wonder what Blizzard's PR / Community guys were smoking to greenlight that. At Blizzcon? Tokyo Gameshow maybe, or a big chinese equivalent, that could fly, but at Blizzcon? The biggest mobile using userbase you'd find at Blizzcon is going to be at the Hearthstone stage, not Diablo. Thhat would have always ended up in tears, even if prefaced or followed it up with announcing a remaster or new expansion for D3.
As it was, this turning into ragefest that it it should have been predicted the first their PR guys heard of it.

You might not have heard about, or care, but two other big IP got mobile-fied recently and both were utter, utter piles of crap both gameplay wise and with the amount of microtransactions shoved in. The fate of Dungeon Keeper and Command & Conquer is still a sore wound.

Blizzard isn't doing this. They've got a third party (NetEase) partner on board. And while on could argue that this something Blizzard has done before with the Diablo IP* the fact that they're doing this at all is worrying.

Because NetEase in particular is an infamous producer of games which are two things: 1. Heavily monetized mobile mmos which 2. just happen to look "like Diablo but different enough we can say it's not".

And lo and behold the interface that Blizzard has shown so far is pretty close to interfaces found in previous NetEase games. There is also supposed to be some worrying overlap in animation and graphics which suggest that

Blizzard's claims of this being developed fromscratch sound pretty bull.

Blizzard has been caught trying to make the backlash less bad by re-uploading the announcement trailer and deleting comments, which naturally is not the thing to be caught doing when trying to calm an enraged nerd herd.

TL,DR: Blizzard picked the worst place and timing (The last thing announced during the Blizzcon opening is supposed to be the Big One for that Blizzcon) , made a questionable choice in development partner and tried to calm the nerd herd in a foolish manner (They got caught).

*Specifically the Hellfire Expansion for Diablo 1 - but people who are interested in Diablo tend to know that Blizzard was less than happy with the process.

Net bookings of €746m, nicely ahead of estimates of €733m and company guidance. Similarly, non-IFRS operating profit and free cash flow were both sharply up vs last year and a touch ahead of expectations. Back-catalogue and PRI (player recurring investment/in-game revenues) were both up by c50% yoy and key to the outperformance.
FY guidance was reiterated. Q3 net bookings guidance of c€600m is below the €659m expectations, but due to phasing rather than underlying underperformance.
Contrary to recent market concerns, Ubisoft noted the second-best engagement levels for Rainbow Six and management expects that the Rainbow Six Pro League Finals in November in Rio de Janeiro will act as yet another booster to both player count and engagement. The game now has over 40m registered players (similar to the likes of Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch) and continues to grow.
Recent trial with Google’s Project Stream is going very well. I still expect that it will be some 3-5 years before game streaming is material to revenues, but it is likely to provide an extremely nice tailwind to growth over the medium to long term.

Shares are now some 25-30% off the highs. However, the launch of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey went well, Rainbow Six engagement has been solid and the full-year guidance was reiterated.
The video game industry is also in the best shape we have seen for some time and I believe there are many growth drivers ahead.
I thus believe the current share price represents an extremely attractive entry point in what is a strongly growing business in a very attractive segment.

Electronic Arts

Q2 net bookings of $1.22bn (+4% yoy) were ahead of guidance at $1.16bn. The outperformance vs guidance was driven by full-game sales of FIFA and Madden Ultimate Teams. This should help to allay some fears that the FIFA franchise has been negatively affected by Fortnite or other games. Underlying profit was also ahead of expectations, driven by increased sales, better gross margin and lower operating expenses.
Digital net bookings increased 10% to $637m, a new record for the second quarter. Growth was driven by the continued shift from physical to digital full-game distribution.
Both live services (+6%) and mobile (+1%) saw somewhat unimpressive growth in Q2. The key live services drag in the near term appears to be the transition from FIFA Online 3 to FIFA Online 4, which is offsetting growth in Ultimate Team, The Sims and subscription services. Mobile is a tale of two sports games with FIFA Mobile daily active players growing 50% yoy, but Madden mobile is declining. I am excited by the announcement of Command & Conquer: Rivals and comments that FIFA Mobile is off to a strong start in China.
Q3 net bookings guidance of $1.725bn was 3% below forecast for the quarter. FY 2019 guidance was reiterated suggesting – much like with Ubisoft earlier in the day – there is more reliance on Q4 (and upcoming online multiplayer Anthem) than was previously anticipated by consensus.
With pretty low expectations now assumed in the FY 2019 guidance, and valuation multiples having contracted markedly over recent weeks, I think the risk/reward is somewhat attractive at these levels.

H1 results offered little to allay investors’ concerns, with EA’s shares down c35% from the highs seen back in July. I do not believe that this set of results offered much in the way of new incremental support to our Buy thesis on the stock.
That said, a core part of the Buy thesis concerns the fact that an investment in EA, in my view, is more than just about one or two quarters of trading. I believe that EA’s growth is underpinned by the material tailwind of a global rise in the interest of football (soccer) and, among other things, the benefits that both subscription and cloud gaming will bring over the medium term.
Clearly the near-term share price will be strongly linked to current trading momentum, which is currently somewhat lacklustre, but comments from management suggest to us that the most recent guidance takes into account prudent assumptions on nearly every aspect of EA’s business.
Additionally, record digital net bookings (USD1.22bn, +4% yoy) for Q2 highlight the strong margin development potential. I therefore continue to believe the current share price offers an attractive risk/reward.

Japanese banks prepare digital currencies

Japan has so far become the country's most alert response to the existence of digital money. Since April 2017, Japan has passed rules on payment systems using digital money, such as bitcoin.
The Japanese Accounting Standards Board is now in charge of drafting guidelines, how the crypto currency can be applied in accounting calculations.

Research conducted Fuji Chimera Research said, currently only no less than US $ 1.7 billion cryptocurrenciess such as bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple and other digital money circulating in Japan. This amount is expected to continue to increase to reach US $ 9 billion in 2020.
Not to be outdone, a Japanese banking consortium is also preparing their own version of cryptocurrencies named J Coin. A number of major Japanese banks are included in the consortium, such as Mizuho Financial Group and Japan Post bank. More precisely, there are more than 70 banks included in the consortium.
They have set up a joint venture that will manage J Coin.
As reported by Nikkei, Sunday (17/9), the consortium of the bank will offer J Coin for payment of various transactions, ranging from the purchase of electronic equipment to money transfers that are not charged commissions.
The consortium hopes, from this step they can emulate e-payment services developed by international technology giants like Alibaba Group Holding and Apple. There is a possibility that the consortium will increase membership of large banks, in order to create an increasingly solid coalition.
The consortium hopes, J Coin can start active in trading in 2020.
The consortium is developing a system where the yen can be withdrawn from bank accounts and converted to J Coin via apps on smartphones. the digital currency can then be used for various shopping needs.
Through J Coin, money transfer services will also not be charged commission (fee). This will also be the concern of the consortium members, so that J Coin can become a digital currency more in demand by the Japanese people.
Conditions that occur in Japan is also happening in other parts of the world. The Central Bank of India or The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is now also formulating a digital currency that can be used as an alternative to official currency Rupee, in digital transactions.
The Central Bank of India had previously ordered a cryptocurrency user company to share information between banks to help prevent fraudulent use of the digital currency.
The Dutch Central Bank has also created its own digital currency, but only limited to its internal use. This is done to better understand how how the digital money works.

Tip #1: Be Alert For Opportunities All Day Long
Focus on becoming stronger because there are myriad opportunities throughout the day to strengthen your body. As simple an effort as walking up the stairs to the third floor, rather than taking an elevator, will eventually produce a noticeable effect. Yes, weights lifting, exercise machines and structured sessions are powerful – but so are simple activities carried out every day.

Tip #2: Rest Is Just As Important As Exercise
Make certain you value and allow rest and recovery time. Many believe that if an intense workout feels good and will build muscle quickly, then the smart thing to do is to exercise even more. Muscle builds when exercise tears the muscle down, because it recovers as newer, stronger muscle. Without that recovery time, your muscles absolutely cannot increase in size or strength. Beginners usually start with three workouts per week and the duration and frequency can increase as they grow in strength and power but your body will respond more quickly and more dramatically if allowed to rest during strenuous activities.

Tip #3: What’s “Best” Is What You Will Persist In Doing
There is a constant and ongoing war among fitness experts about whether free weights or weight machines are superior. As far as you are concerned, whatever works best for you is the right choice. If you love competing with the weights on a machine then by all means choose that option. If you despise machines, but eagerly grab that set of dumbbells, then go for it. Empirical proof helps us validate what we should and shouldn’t believe, but sometimes cold hard facts just aren’t available. Even when we don’t have solid proof, however, humans still tend to extend their sense of belief to certain phenomenon. From things we could never see with the human eye to life forms that have yet to be verified, here are the top 10 things we believe.

1. Aliens
While conspiracy theories and UFO sightings abound, we don’t have verifiable proof that other lifeforms exist in the space beyond our own planet. Still, many people firmly believe that there is life on other planets, or that life did exist at some point in the past. From video claims of inexplicable objects in the sky, to personal testimonials from people who say they’ve been taken into a spacecraft, we want to believe that there is more to life than what is on our own planet even if it has yet to be scientifically proven as fact.

2. Astrology
The notion of astrology is not a new one; people have been making major life decisions by the stars for centuries. Without any real proof that the way the planets and stars are aligned will actually shape a person, we believe that if we are born under a certain zodiac sign we are bound to a particular disposition and set of skills. Daily horoscopes and astrological charts have become a guiding tool for many people, who truly think that one’s birth date determines her fate and can help her make day-to-day decisions.

3. Cryptids
Cryptids are animals whose existence has never been proven by science, such as Bigfoot or the infamous West Virginia Mothman. Enough sightings and amateur photographs exist that we consider it possible that these creatures really do walk or swim the Earth with us, even though they don’t exist in museums and aren’t officially acknowledged. Anyone who claims to have seen a ghost might say that there is proof of spirit life, but skeptics would argue that any ghostly sighting can be explained away by lighting tricks or other logical reasons. 5. Instuition
Call it a gut feeling, or intuition, but we believe that sometimes a sixth sense provides us silent guidance. Intuition can tell us when to distrust someone, end a marriage, avoid a certain street, or steer us in any number of directions. Beaches in mysterious blue glow

Along Shenzhen’s coastline at Dapeng Bay and Daya Bay, a mysterious glowing blue light was spotted near the shore on Sunday, attracting local residents to come out and appreciate the extraordinary natural phenomenon.

When they first saw the glowing blue “lights”, many residents thought it was the reflection of beacons and lamps from nearby ships.

Shenzhen’s ocean authorities explained that the glowing blue lights scattered on the surface of water near the city resulted from a chemical reaction called bioluminescence.

When microbes in sea react to oxygen, they will glow blue at night.
