You may of seen my earlier post Here "Reverbnation Missing Rank" and also this post Here "Reverb Stat System Failure"

Well guess what.... yeah that's right, it's happened again, and its the same story....

Reverbnation used to offer artists the chance to get their music heard, and allow fans to follow them....
Now they just want your Money & If you don't give them your money... Then you constantly enter an Invisible state on their website. Putting the people who PAY THEM up into the charts and kicking out the people who don't pay...

Now in business you can say that's all well and good, fair dues....

BUT... NOT the way They are doing it

They say things like...

Your account has been flagged by our system due to song plays or fan growth that it has deemed ‘suspicious’ (may have been created in an automated way or through a paid 3rd party site).

then they just lock the topic while you wait 2/3 days for this so called email to finally arrive....
And then fill in some appeal form that clearly no one reads!
meanwhile people paying for promotion ride the wave, while reverb hold your head under water

THEY have ALL THESE SEPARATE SUPPORT FORUMS!!!!

I am fed up with this pathetic "CLEARLY FAULTY" account flagged system, it clearly has an error, i want to no WHERE these invalid hits came from and i want to no WHY your system is NOT just Blocking any incoming traffic from Invalid Sources?

Here are some clear examples of lies (because the emails mentioned aren't even sent until 1 to 2 days AFTER you make your post) so clearly reverb's Patrick & Zack are a pair of LIARS... and useless tossers

Reverb clearly couldn't care less about "Artist Support" unless your paying them money, to which ive been waiting a LONG TIME for the ability to withdraw earnings from my music sales

and even then the earnings are crap!!!!

After selling albums, and singles I am still not up to the $20 withdrawal limit, (which ber in mind i am English = £) the $20 is pretty pathetic once converted into £, and that's if i ever get paid...

Clearly by the DATES, i have been waiting a long time

The real annoyance is the APOLOGIES because they are worthless

their even so shit they come from a Button or a copy & paste from a text file, their is NO personal support at all, and even if you do pay, when people cancel, they just keep taking your money until you go and slap the shit out of someone at your bank, because canceling with reverb doesn't stop them taking your money (THAT IS VERY CLEAR BY MANY LOCKED TOPICS)

IE... I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR SERVICES I DIDN'T WANT

chances are thats were my money will go when its cleared for withdrawal..

Its rare i watch stuff on youtube these days, its mostly disappointing and very cliche, but now and then something truly blows me away...

Most of you no me for my Airwolf combat edits.. yes they were prity kewl, but as you also know NBC Universal banned most of them due to the content & the way youtube scans for them...

Anyways theirs a rising star out their doing truly amazing airwolf edits and is managing to reduce the (c) issues with the way hes working (all's i can say is this one has the patience of a saint) lol
hes got a couple of videos up at the moment, the 2nd one also features some of my music which has been truly awesome to hear it & see the action that runs along side it

If you thought my edits were prity good, then you MUST take this rare opportunity to check out the work this youtube user has put together, part 1 & 2 are already on his channel, I like them both, but i do think part 2 is better than part one.. no.. not just because my musics in it lol, i think the editing is faster paced, shorter shots, part 2 runs very fluid & easy and mix's and matches in all the right places for all teh right clip lenths making it as visually sweet as hollywoods finest and much better than the original 80's editing

well i was wondering if ide been Reported for cheating OR if their system had problems, or if someone had bought me stats to get me binned out the chart.. and ya no what : /

I did a little test and found a Massive Reverb Stat System Failure

now i would post it an let them no, but we all no they don't actually care
and alls ide get is a ticket number that means nothing and a survey that also means nothing

I decided to put my "Singer Song Writer" profile under the stat counter by simply posting

1 Pink Floyd cover song on a pink floyd Facebook page
2 Highlander songs on a highlander Facebook page

got up the next day to see my Singer Song writer profile out of the chart with a - instead of a rank

so way to go reverb... another screw up that wont get fixed until at-least 8000+ people close their accounts
kinda sad thats what it takes to make a company sit up and listen to the people who keep them afloat

also still pains me that their still refusing to acknowledge they have accepted Visa Debit cards in the past, but just cant be bothered paying for the international transactions on them anymore since paypal changed its commision rates for overseas purchases via debit rather than credit...

so the moral is you can sit at number 1 in the world and be nagged about free promotion...
but if 20 people play your song today and 100 play it tomorow, then you cheated and get booted?

chart rank hyphen - reverbnation?

A while ago Audio Life that manages the sales of reverbnation artists stopped accepting my Visa Debit Card and insisted that they have never accepted them and have only accepted Credit Cards
I have TWO invoices that Dispute that, but apparently no one cares because im wrong : /

To rub salt in the wound i woke today to find i am no longer within ANY chart

I Was Number 1 Liverpool
I Was Number 1 UK
I Was Number 1 Globally

My chart listing is now just a - Sign/Symbol

(now if i hadn't noticed this i would of NOT been notified!!!!!!!!!)

i asked on their support forum and my post was closed and i received an email stating this

RATHER THAN RISK HIS OWN ACCOUNT
all's THEY have to do is spend a few dollars to buy you some fans on a site and BANG
their number 1... and your gone...

I have a meeting friday to talk about funding and possibly going self employed

being number ONE in my Home Town would of helped
being number ONE in my Home Country would of helped
being number ONE in the Whole World would of REALLY HELPED

and being their with BASIC STATS would of also been honest

but i have just learn't today that ANYONE can get you thrown out the charts for a mere $2.99 a month
(that's about £1.52 a month to keep your rivals at bay) by simply backing their rivals account instead of their own account

doesn't this also mean i can no longer work on my own blog because MY pc is accessing the blogs widget?

see when people start googling "Reverbnation Missing Rank" or "Rank Now A Hyphen"
that will affect my reverb stats while you guys are reading this to which WTF is the correct way to get publicity and stats besides by helping OTHERS, rather than paying for fake ones : /

here is the most simple way to link adsence to a/any youtube account....

LOG IN To "your" adSence...
COPY "your" publisher ID to a Text File...
Log OUT...

LOG IN to "your" youtube OR your NEW youtube
(you can do this on as many as you want)
BUT.. you MUST be loged into the YOUTUBE you want to add the ID to
NOT the adSense email its self... unless thats your ONE single email for everything

Anyway log into the youtube u wana link to adsence and then use this link

and enter the publisher ID.. done and bloody simple :D

Samsung Tocco Mobile Phone Tips

I decided to roll out of 2012 With a Tutorial rather than music

Saw this crap a lot of times around the internet recently when i was trying to remember
how to REMOVE that white and Blue G Symbol Icon on the Samsung Tocco Lite GT-S5230
ive had mine about a year & my mate just got one

Loads of stupid pages full of adverts and mostly talking about unblocking a contact.. what kinda of reply is that ffs, other people on Yahoo answers also said it can't be done.. yeah right.... IT CAN....

so i was messing about with it for him & tryna remember some of the basics
& Goolge was NO help at all!!!!!
so i dug out my disks ide burnt back when i did mine & heres a little guide

Depending on the Phones FirmWare
there was a number of codes you needed to no
such as the

Admin-Menu
Operator PreConfiguration
Internals Master Key

and a few others.....
These HIDDEN SYSTEM MENUS were accessed via your Phones Dialer
using codes that Begin with *#   and end in *#

I have managed to cut through ALL the menus IN ALL the "CURRENT " FirmWares
to bring you ONE CODE to access the AUTO POWER ON GPRS......

when you use this key and then Un-Tick The box (RESTART THE PHONE!!!!)
the Blue G logo will be GONE.....    BUT    when you wish to access the internet
OR open an APP that Requires the Internet IT WILL APPEAR AND IT WILL WORK.
When you close the app, GPRS will also close & the icon will go away again....

WARNING!!!!!

If you have Enabled Mobile Tracking in the security section of the phone
(to monitor your kids movements or a partner whose not all their in the head)
         that may No Longer Work....
Also PLEASE NOTE
"If" you "COULD/DID" turn it off and go back in and it IS OFF,
yet the blue G is still their....
then clearly your phone is doing something Behind your back...
IE.. mobile tracker is on.. or FB is always logged in...
IE IE Something of YOURS MUST be accessing the net
so saying i turned it off & its still their is YOUR PROBLEM & NOT THIS GUIDE.....

ALSO NOTE Turning off the Auto Power On GRPS will save you up to 20% of your battery life :)

Here is the Code to bring up the Option to turn OFF the auto power on
if its "Ticked" Untick it....

Open Phone Dialer & Type In This Code   *#4777*8665#
(this works on MOST Samsung phones and if it doesn't, it wont mater)
you'll just get WRONG number & nothing will be changed

You can also use the same code to go back in and turn it back on...

that's dead easy, their are video guides on youtube
(with all needed tools in the video descriptions)
just read the comments to see if people say yes or no
and also try to use a LAP TOP to do it
power loss during phone flash can be risky

also make sure you plug phone in and let all the new hardware stuff come and go
(plug phone in to computer/laptop when phones OFF & go through the new hardware)
(plug phone in again with phone on) making sure to keep using the SAME USB port
saves windows finding new hardware during a FLASH and taking control of the port
ALSO when the flasher says its DONE wait a bit and if u have to turn off the phone
IF the flasher comes up failed
(do it again, AND DON'T turn phone off or unplug it
leave it in download mode and do it again

My Tocco keeps saying found new hardware for Mobile Broadcom and cant find driver ?
Google "V_Mobile1.0 Broadcommdriver" and "Pre-Install USB Drivers" and "MCCI Corporation"
(if google looks for something else AND says OR search for, use the Or search for)
google has a horrible thing were it Changes what you typed in and shows you results for what IT THOUGHT YOU MEANT...... "V_Mobile1.0 Broadcommdriver" IS A FILE NAME, NOT A TYPO

you can also get a Wallpaper Maker, takes 3 Pictures on PC and merges the 3 into 1

there used to be a default reset code & anyone who found a code could just remove the sim... power on the phone.. type in a

key... and it reset the phone removing ALL pins and security.. this was a really naughty code...
BUT today what that code is a naughty nasty code
does the same thing with an ADDITIONAL thing...
It changes the IME to OOOOOOOOO so DON'T use it ANY factory Reset Codes....
or the phone has no MAC and can NO longer be used

how do i no if i can use a factory reset code?
All i remember from back then is this........
The IME WIPE appeared about half way through the Samsung D900 model release life span
IF you have wiped one, you maybe able to "Restore The Boot File"
U can also use the term "How To Unbrick or Un-Brick... and the phone model number"
when searching google

A little something i have done recently

Essentially this track is all in real time & 1 Keyboard is used (Until the Classical Guitar Comes In)
The Guitar is a 2nd keyboard with the basic Yamaha sound, yeah the strings help work it a lot lol
and the strings is 1 keyboard tied into "Reason 5" the BASS is the SPLIT option on the yamaha,
the piano comes in from the headphone jack, and uses the keyboards own piano & bass

so we have
Reason Stings (a mixture combined)
M-Audio Strings (a mixture combined)

Yamaha Strings (via basic keyboard instrument)
Yamaha Piano (via basic keyboard instrument)
Yamaha Classical Guitar (via basic keyboard instrument)

Error Installing .NET KB2698023 KB2742597 Fix

So you get an error when you try windows update
and it comes up failed when you run KB2698023 or KB2742597

and it keeps on bugging you that you need that update....

I guess maybe you even tried downloading "netfx.msi" as advised on OTHER places ROFL

And its told you A Resource within netfx1.cab was is unavailable?

well it would... as you don't have it like (as u only downloaded the msi)

Here is what you do....

FIRST... (and DON'T JUMP THE GUN)

Download THIS (the update with the issue) NDP1.1sp1-KB2698023-X86.exe
OR This one
Download THIS (the update with the issue) NDP1.1sp1-KB2742597-X86.exe
(you only need 1, and then maybe the other, use the one your update failed on)

Both Files Come Direct From Microsoft    (DO NOT INSTALL IT YET)

Now... Download THIS...

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

From Microsoft HERE   (DON'T INSTALL IT)

RIGHT CLICK ON    dotnetfx.exe

and select   EXTRACT TO    dotnetfx
(this will give you 5 files, you need these for 5 mins)
No extract option? install winZip or 7zip (their both free) or extract with WinRAR

now with those files extracted,,, RUN   EITHER
NDP1.1sp1-KB2698023-X86.exe

OR

NDP1.1sp1-KB2742597-X86.exe

and Install it...

when Asked for "netfx.msi"
Browse to it (where YOU extracted the other one) & the installation should accept it and finalize

simply because I am smart and Microsoft are not..... cant believe they fkd this up with a replacement

DON'T just Google dotnetfx.exe
if the MS link changes.....
GO TO http://download.microsoft.com
and search for it their and MAKE SURE you get .NET 1.1 version of dotnetfx.exe (not the 1.0)

Oooo and yes.... it works....

And i can't believe some of the sites ive seen telling people to uninstall ALL .NET and start installing them all from scrtatch.... wtf do u do next time MS do this... uninstall it all again? wtf people
oddly replaces the last update yet causes the same problem
good old Microsoft.. BAH...

USEFUL INFO FOR THE TECHS:

Microsoft.net is also realy messy
After your told to reboot & the pc comes back on, .net is still installing stuff
and sometimes even after a 2nd reboot, its still installing stuff & making system changes

so before attempting another update test
its best to open "Task Manager" and keep an eye out for

2 EXE files that appear & then disappear, make sure their both done & gone
(don't try to close them, let them work)
these are the files that are normally going after 2/3 reboots

they will stay their (until i reboot again)
and they maybe back again after the reboot
its hard to tell if their modifying .net 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 or v4
but until their gone, .net isn't fully updated

yet have you ever seen windows update tell you to reboot your pc 5 times in a row after updates?, ive not seen that, yet that's what it takes.... so it could be 5 days after actually updating that all the fixes are applied.. depending on how often you boot & shut down the pc... that's kinda bad...

NOTE:
sometimes only the mscoresvw.exe is visible
but a reboots needed till it goes away

FINAL NOTE:
if it fails, Re-Extract the dotnetfx.exe
Don't really no why, but i think the installer modifies the MSI from the last time you did it ;)

Easy Work Around?
well theirs a way around this, but its slow
what you do is only install the ,NEt 1.1 updates (and reboot twice)
then install the ,NET 2 updates & reboot twice
then the 3 and then the 3.5 and then the 4

this way is slow, but appears to work

also you could make a bat file that installes .net & updates
then reboots the pc and checks for one of the Specific KB UPDATE folders in the win dir
and if its seen it skips to installing .net 3.5, then reboots checks for 1,2 or 3 and then does v4
then its just a case of adding each update to a folder & the bat
you could also mark the bat out with #DOT_NET_1.1 and DOT_NET_1.1_Updates
and manually evoke the bat from a menu bat to skip to install OR just update
I have a windows Update BAT Scrip concept, watch out for my next blog update for it :)

I guess how im feeling now after all this time is like this...
IF.. your working with someone & its prity clear that YOU are the creativity
yet they apear to want to own the stage & argue about everything....
then you shouldn't work with them
If their a mate, then just keep work 100% separate.

As creative people you will understand that when you improvise, if others cant do it
& your theoretically drawing pictures for them while their arguing about how YOUR idea should be
then you need to remember its YOUR idea & unless they actually have ANY ideas they should do as their told, or simply FIRE THEM.... If you have to give them EVERY LINE & then they argue about HOW it sounded fine to them & you want them to say it again.. and they argue... then FIRE THEM....
its YOUR line, YOU know full well how it should sound & if it sounds wrong MAKE THEM say it again
or fek them off...

Ive argued about scenes and lines, only to see them use that in their edit anyway, after me having to fight to get the scene and argue and feel like shit about it... they use YOURS over THEIRS anyway....
just because NOW THEY SEE IT... ON THEIR PC..... THEY LIKE IT....
ITS SO GOOD THEY USED IT INSTEAD OF THEIRS....
so they use it and don't even acknowledge how fkn GOOD it really was.....
(let alone a mere apology and stop being such a problematic nobhead on set)

People like that FAIL to see what Impact that argument has on the rest of the days filming..
IE, the Impact that now has on other scenes were YOUR expected to give THEM more workable lines, knowing its going to be said wrong, out of context, totally out of character, sounding like a nob head.
and instead of arguing, you leave them to it & you come home with nothing but crap..

Also note this isn't creative differences.. as theirs only ONE creating, the other is
Bullying, Obnoxious & Arrogantly Stupid. Yet clearly uses YOUR work over their own.
(noted though this behavior is not normally present when their is only 2 of you)
which is even more pathetic as they look such a stupid tit infront of others who are actually with it.

I wont work with people like that anymore, im better than that & i no i am
Im a Writer, A Creator, An Imaginative Visionary who can tell a story with pictures,
video, music OR just sitting their making up a story as i go...
.. ALL of which i can create off the top of my head.

Talent is a gift, don't let people exploit your gift for them to look good...
Don't let anyone take credit for your talent & your work...
Don't help anyone, not even a mate NOT UNLESS...
they have any form of potential on their own, just be honest with them
Tell them no.. your useless, your about as imaginative as a sponge
(which even that needs dipping in someone elses bucket to soak up ideas)

Otherwise you are tied to them while they not only drain you, but mentally destroy you.
Taking anything you give them & then watching them show you how epic THEIR thing is
When you were actually smart enough to already SEE IT before YOU even Improvised it...
for them.....

The more you learn, the faster you progress, those who wont learn need leaving at the kerb

Considering some of the things i have accomplished in my life
movie making "Specially Editing" has always been creatively stunted
by lack of hardware & input from 3rd partys and today even more so by (c) issues
So when i put my TIME and MY Imagination into a project
I DON'T expect it to be Banned "Because Its Mine" and that means i TRUST IT ALL

Ide rather brush the streets and pick up trash & create in my free time
Than be even paid to work with some nob head who thinks hes the next gods fekn gift to media
and cant even string 2 lines together about something.

if you can sing... i can write for you
if you can write... i can adapt and enhance for you
if you film.. i can edit for you...
if you film and edit.. i can score it for you...
if you can act i can give you lines that work for you..
i can re-write lines that make u truly enter the role (which helps MOST bad acting)
I can write songs in a heart beat....

but im NOT about to do ALL of the above and i mean ALL
while you bring your aragance & attitude and bossy behavior that stunts ALL the creativity
creativity that is supposed to be used to make the NOTHING you bring...
into SOMETHING that u try to take credit for...

I the WRITER & CREATOR of this crap we are doing... am now in the way
so i step back... and guess what.... NOTHING.... yeah that's right sod all....
Suddenly im the man of the hour again....

so we have 1 great scene, 2 crap ones, another great one 3 to 7 crap ones, then an ok'ish one
then suddenly were back out filming because something can't be simply post edited in the editor?

When i look back at wasted time with not much in the way of productive and usable material

over 30 cuts regarding all 3 films.... and only the final gets post edited
and only after 6 years is it FINALLY outside of movie maker

6 years of our lives we can never get back NOR legally really show to the world

have a guess who was looking for a composer?

maybe after 6 years their would be enough memory's to cut at-least 6 albums
at the rate of 1 for each year, hell i did 6 in 6 months, a lot of which reflect on scenes in the movie
but then ide have to point, click and over lay it so it can be heard & seen at the same time
and why....?
because its my story, my atmosphere it portrays, Its my dialog
and until i probably waste my time editing it, even he is never going to realize
just what its truly about or understand its flow & its true dramatic playback pace

Because its all about pace when editing, its putting what was filmed into perspective
and when that perspective is overshadowed by who is on screen.
this is also why directors have clapper boards & timers, they make notes for the editor to use

Ive never been given that opportunity, nor would he ever even think to do that...
because that would make it my edit (even though he did the editing)
and remember hes got the clips now, the movies his
even though hes got no real clue about it, hell the ending of it is nothing to do with where it began
the ending of it is part of a concept i was "again" working into my cut to make it different
but i just ran out of will to bother putting it together & its prity clear to another cast member why
sadly he would never speak up on set to, so the bullying intimidation atmosphere thrived with that additional audience being their.

note for wanabee's...
tryna look cool and in controle because someone else is their just kills the plot & concentration
it becomes about YOU and just how cool YOU look, where infact you just lost the audiance
and the plot & made the onset writer just wana go back home to bed.

When someone says how was that.. if it was CRAP i say so...
why wouldn't i ?, out their making a MOVIE, if i think it looked crap i say so
honesty is key when filming, SO IS being able to just DO IT AGAIN....

Otherwise why the hell bother?
not my fault another cast member says yeah it was ok (just to please them)
hell u can hear the NO in the tone of the word YES
and u can see it on their face, if your PAYING ATTENTION LMFAO
and why are you asking them anyway? are they the DIRECTOR or did i miss something?

On an upside though.. i kinda finally got the feeling my input on the project as a whole
was finally realized on the Final day of filming
but it comes to late after so long & i think my times better spent trying to get somewhere

After a recent conversation with a mate about music
I was again left with the feeling he thinks basically (Im Rushing my music)
which makes it basically mediocre & worse still... meaningless music

and i had to think to my self for a moment & realized.....
after all the stuff ive worked on with him, that without any Imagination...

How To Get Access To Multimedia Resources For Free?

If your a singer or a band you need Photos, you need a Music Video, you need a graphics wizz to put an album cover together. Normally this would cost a fair bit of money & as you no thats not easy unless your already earning money. So how can you get Promotional Photos done for free or a music video made or even free album covers?

Let alone maybe find a writer who can enhance your work, or even another singer....

There is a lot of websites that allow people to offer their skills & the majority of them charge a fee, then you also have to pay the person as well.

Im unemployed my self & its a website recommended by the likes of Ingeus and Reed.

Imagine a photographer, hes looking for work, hes got a CV, but not much practical experience is listed on it, and what about his portfolio, remember that's a collection of totally RANDOM photos.

A lot of people on skill pages are willing to work for FREE, just for the experience and some collaboration work. I signed up and ticked the right boxes for me & had a few offers, 1 of which was a guy looking for 24 composers... I thought this is going to sound prity unique with 24 composers doing 24 tracks, this was also a paid opportunity (an option to sell my music, or maintain rights to it & if it took off i would own partial (c) oddly it turned out to be a musical) so you never really no what opportunity's will come your way.

The way it works is you can sit their looking for people your self, or you can post an opportunity & people who have ticked the right boxes will be notified about the opertunity.
The only thing you need to do is find someone close enough so no real travel costs are incurred & they gets their shots for a portfolio & you get yours for your promoting or for use on an album cover.

Remember theirs an incentive for them, after all unless you pay them, then they own the photos (so an agreement to see them and delete what you want before they leave would be advised) as when you make it big... thier sitting on some rare original photos that they own (rather them not be embarrassing shots lmao)

Video editing's the same deal, even graphic designers (once you have photos) can easily put an album cover work together (Album ArtWork By... and hes now got an album cover design to add to his c.v) that's something he can print & box and show as an example of his work.

The concept of this is who ever you work with, you are both vital to each others careers & futures, neither of you is the lesser or the better, you are from 2 walks of life, with 2 interests that come together in the form of multimedia promotion & Genuine Experience that you can show.

If your getting a gig filmed, the "Location" you use may even pay travel if the video guy plugs the location in some way within the music video (again its how far you in go in the media industry that reflects on what they did & it's worth in the future if you make it big)

or what if they make it big.. suddenly their you are (this guys earlier works before he was famous) which = unexpected publicity & free promotion.

The rule here is CREDIT where CREDIT is due...

Take the music video idea, here is ONE totally crazy scenario... let the lad film it & edit it, you could even let him put it on "his" youtube and you Link it to your own playlist and profile. that way any add revenue from google adsence goes to him for making it (this also gives "the maker" an incentive to get people to watch it) so their going to promote it anyway they can to get traffic to it. that's one way to make it a "Paid Opportunity, yet cost you nothing" and applicants require a youtube channel with an adsence account :)

suddenly this video editor is considering becoming a promoter.. which is a good idea really if he can make videos & work with you, then hes got an eye for promotion.. not just a snarling fool on the phone arguing with printers, but actually their overseeing it & changing it after each print (because hes got the hands on skills) not just a suit, a mouth and a phone hes never off lol

As a composer & a song writer im prity good, as a vocalist i am not that good and it takes me a lot of layering to achieve the right sound. When i have enough songs i like together i will be looking at certain people on reverbnation to perform them, but i will also be looking on skill pages (so i can layer certain sections with a number of vocalists who are mostly unheard & amazing talent waiting to be spotted)

Another rule here is your talent & your skills are two separate entity's & trading has been around since the dawn of time. trade a skill for a talent or vice versa.

People are out their looking for something to work on, people are out their looking for help on something they are working on... Look at all the video bans on youtube due to people using (c) music

why not sell tracks with the ability to earn off them & allow people to use it & again google adsence can claim revenue from adds on the videos that hold your music. "Sentric" offer that service of collecting royalties & a few other companies do to (just watch what you agrea to with online contracts) and warn people to only use "your music" because 2 (c) claims in 1 video normally gets a video blocked over the advert dispute.

STOP looking for that record deal...
do you want a studio taking a cut?
do you want the manager taking a cut?
then the tax man taking a cut?

these so called Commercial Overheads of advertising and publicity can all be done by you

you can cut out a lot of the middle men and slowly build your own infrastructure online (which you basically own)

when a label comes looking... your less work than they thought you'd be, even though they approached you anyway.. having an online fan base already built up on the backbone of working with others means your already networked to, so finding support bands for gigs would also be easier to.
internet stats are all well & good, but its Design and Graphics that catches the eye.... Not everyone has their speakers on when surfing...

Plugging your own (c) work on YouTube needs you to step outside the box for 5 mins to do something Alternative ;)

Having a blog helps get stuff moved up the search chain, because right away, anything you post on the blog (is google orientated) as is youtube, ber in mind youtube uses google to search, so right away, 2 postings of the same file is 2 lines on that google spidy web
also your blog allows people to find subjects you talk about on google really easy if its a fairly unique subject

A lot avoid blogs because their stereo typical
(today i ate korn flakes and washed my hair) LOL

But blogs don't have to be about that!!!

Yahoo Answers for example, if you see a question their that's right up your field of expertise...
you can make a lil tutorial on the blog, then copy & paste that to yahoo answers & link the actual blog post as the "Information Source"
Now your blog is linked to yahoo in a Zero spam nature... link to the blog POST
(don't link just to the actual blog as the post will lower down the page the more you build the blog)

try to add a Question based statement in your blog posts
(pc's are thick and they do what we tell them)

IE, someone googles "How to i back up my iPhone"
WONT show your blog up at the top if your blog says...
"here is how to back up an iPhone"
you can have that text in their, but you need the question to,

theres a couple of adverts at the bottom of the blog for boosting stats on social networks
1 is called "vagex" which is a system used to boost youtube, likes, subs, views & comments
and one is "addmefast" which does all the youtube stuff as well as twitter & fb page likes
their both free to use (but you can also buy points to)
Basically what i do is log on to addmefast each day & watch 10 vids for 30 seconds each (i get 9 points per video)
and the 100 daily bonus points for the 10 views, but you can watch as many as u want
then i use them credits on the site and input a video link and allocate how many points per like (bearing in mind to get a like, you also get the video view) so i can get at least 20 video views & likes a day, or 20 subscribers
for vagex i only use that if im leaving the pc on over night rendering a video or downloading a movie, vagex logs into a bs youtube account i made and it gets 1 point for viewing, 1 for like, 1 for sub and 1 for comment (comments are automated, hence using it on a bs account) and again the points can be allocated to send traffic to the site
I figure if the pc is on doing one job, it can do that in the back ground to lol
this stuff is basically what them companies do that offer to promote you for a fee & it may seam a little immoral, but remember your part of the media industry & its all about hype & statistics. adderdemon.com can also be used to boost your myspace friends list to, you just log into myspace, copy the user id, add it to adderdemon & then click add friends, it opens 5 myspace popups (requests) once they load you close em and click add freinds again, you can add about 30 to 50 people a day.. again more stat building.
ber in mind nothing ive said or advised here to you will actually cost you anything (besides your time, or one of your groopies time) lol

It is sad that in todays world its all about stats (just to rise high enough to be seen & heard)
but information truly is power lol

As of February 2013, Unlisted videos no longer count towards video views on your channel
(views before then will be visible on the channel total count, but not views afterwards unless you make the video public)

Ok this subject gets researched a lot on google by many people....
And the majority fall into the usual trap of trying to boost plays using software
(which is normally just a Virus or a scam that kills your pc)

Reverbnation gives you EVERYTHING you need to Boost Song Plays
(and it doesn't fall under the PAY & UPGRADE section neither so anyone can do this for free)

so you can do this to boost song plays on your blog, facebook, twitter or a web site..

Widgets are you biggest asset, yet most people don't even understand how they work, Which is the BEST one to use.. OR how to make the most out of them

So i am going to show you. You need a Facebook page, profile, or a blogspot, MySpace... or site of your choice to implement your widget on
(the blog I am using here is blogspot which is part of Google)
So if you have a YouTube account already..
then you can easily have a blog using the same email with no need to sign up at blogspot.
Also having a blog to get your work into the Google web spider is always handy right? and a blogs a good way to get an RSS FEED, which you can also add to reverbnation under the Blog URL options

Ber in mind when you want to spread the word about an upload, then sharing your post on a variety of sites (Fb, Blog, Myspace, Twitter) gets you more up the Google chain with the web spider, putting you higher up the Google Search page. Try Googling TheWraith517 see? youtube & blogspot dominate the page

Between YouTube & BlogSpot (they have Google dominated because their semi owned by Google, so Google give their OWN sites priority traffic) IE You Need a YouTube & A Blog to get better web spider coverage, over other random sites like amazon and eBay for example who normally get priority at the TOP of the Google page

So i recommend you create a blog, just click join at the top of this page, use your YouTube email address to save having to register, pick a simple blog template & activate the blog (I will show you how to edit the blog further down this post) for now my concern is getting your Reverbnation widget code set correctly and getting YOU to make the most of it.

Don't skip any of this because you will just make the same mistakes this ideot made here below

Theirs a lot of things people don't realize about Reverb and how it works, but that guy made a blog post (just like Ive done here) yet I am offering you ACTUAL information, That Retard just used it as a ploy to get you to open his page... yet the way he set it up he got NOTHING from you opening that page
I got at least 4 song plays by YOU visiting here and you will be rewarded for that by this tutorial guide :)

So here is were INFORMATION is Power
(even if that same said smuck above HAD of Enabled AutoPlay)
He would of still got Nothing from anyone opening the page.. why?
Well... Reverbnation requires HALF a song play or More... To Count As a Play Stat

IE: someone needs to listen to 51% of your Track, so even with AutoPlay he's still screwed his chance with such a pathetic post.. because it doesn't take the length of a RAP to realize that's trashy information & shut the page... (whether his song was playing or not LOLSZZ)

If you PAGE/BLOG has Interesting Information your whole songs will be heard, if you use the RANDOM option on the widget, you will get a random amount of plays on a mixture of your tracks (this is risky depending on the length of your tracks & the captivation gathered from the page they are looking at)
So using SHUFFLE is not always recommended... Clearly though (unless your names G MAC E) AutoPlay has to be on, otherwise your Never going to get song plays... unless someone clicks PLAY

First I recommend the Reverbnation Pro Player (which is a free Widget)
Q) why not the reverbnation HTML5 player?
A) Not every PC currently out their supports HTML5 playback on their browsers...
This is the first Massive mistake people make, they also assume the pro player costs just because of the word PRO (this is not the case & you SHOULD use the pro player) at least until April 2014 when they kill off Windows XP. Until then a LOT of your traffic is windows xp users and windows 2000 users who manipulated xp updates for their own os....

So you go to the Control Room on Reverb (new or old layout)
SELECT TOOLS

Select Widgets

USE THE PRO PLAYER

Once Picked CLICK CUSTOMIZE

Now you have to choose if you will use the "Shuffle" option, its not really recommended unless you have it on a site with regular traffic and the pages don't change every time they click to navigate somewhere on the site.

Make sure when you choose your 2 Options that one of them is AutoPlay, or your wasting time

As a sound engineer so I am lucky because I don't just compose music, I also make Sound Effects

These are clearly SHORT and play within a few seconds....

WARNING!!!

If you record a Blank short piece of audio and try using that

(when you delete that, it also removes all views/plays that file gained towards your stats...)

So what ever is at the top of your Song list needs to be short, yet objective towards your work...

So your then prompted with the following screen to PLACE your Widget

Now on your BLOG or your MySpace Page you have the Opportunity to EMBED the code...

Clearly you can make a Blog/MySpace post using it

(but its only when a user reads that blog/myspace post it'll get played right?)

Clearly you want this to start playing what ever blog post your visitor arrives at right?

so you need to put this code down the SIDE of your blog, rather than just a simple blog post ;)

So you click on the Blog Dashboard (Design, top right of your blog)

which then looks like this (when you select LAYOUT)

Then You Click Add A "Gadget"

here you get a list of optional stuff, wich is shown down the SIDE of your blog,
or at the top or the bottom of your blog

The one you want is the HTML Type Boxes, Such As This One...

Add this one to your blog and MOVE it were you want on the page, you can see were i placed mine further up and I called it "My Full Track Player" You paste the Reverbnation code in that box (on the EDIT it option) and give the Box a Name, like mines my full track player...

So now when anyone reads ANY of your blog posts, it will Boost your reverbnation song plays...

MySpace?
On myspage when you edit your profile you have Marqe & Moduls, one of the Modules is a HTML box you can add, wich again can be at the top, bottom or SIDE of your myspace page & you simply Name the HTML box and paste the Reverbnation code into the box...

Just Remember... some sites the embedded code is different
IE, clicking the Blogger, or myspace button ON REVERB (Before you copy the code)

It may help to actually add your other web addresses down the Top Right side of your blog (like i have) this helps again intergrate your OTHER web sites by getting in on the google spider web effect, You can also edit your Youtube Channel page & add actual LINKS down the side to, further boosting the spider net & pushing you higher up the Google search

Remember, how ever much you spend on a Domain Name & Web Space.. you Still have to send traffic that way for it to work, and when you stop paying your site vanishes...so why not use a FREE blog, a myspace, a youtube. Just a simple blog post about your favorite football team, or photos you've taken in some film location, all brings in traffic to the blog post that showed up on a google search. Or a Tutorial on how to do something (which is what Ive done here) A helpful blog post isn't really spam when it helps or informs others, Its contributing to the Internet, rather than masses of pathetic spammy blog posts about here's my new RAP check it WORD UP Yo My N*g**r....

how many times have you looked for something on google and landed on blogspot page?

theres a couple of adverts at the bottom of the blog for boosting stats on social networks
1 is called "vagex" which is a system used to boost youtube, likes, subs, views & comments
and one is "addmefast" which does all the youtube stuff as well as twitter & fb page likes
their both free to use (but you can also buy points to)
Basically what i do is log on to addmefast each day & watch 10 vids for 30 seconds each (i get 9 points per video)
and the 100 daily bonus points for the 10 views, but you can watch as many as u want
then i use them credits on the site and input a video link and allocate how many points per like (bearing in mind to get a like, you also get the video view) so i can get at least 20 video views & likes a day, or 20 subscribers
for vagex i only use that if im leaving the pc on over night rendering a video or downloading a movie, vagex logs into a bs youtube account i made and it gets 1 point for viewing, 1 for like, 1 for sub and 1 for comment (comments are automated, hence using it on a bs account) and again the points can be allocated to send traffic to the site
I figure if the pc is on doing one job, it can do that in the back ground to lol
this stuff is basically what them companies do that offer to promote you for a fee & it may seam a little immoral, but remember your part of the media industry & its all about hype & statistics. adderdemon.com can also be used to boost your myspace friends list to, you just log into myspace, copy the user id, add it to adderdemon & then click add friends, it opens 5 myspace popups (requests) once they load you close em and click add freinds again, you can add about 30 to 50 people a day.. again more stat building.
ber in mind nothing ive said or advised here to you will actually cost you anything (besides your time, or one of your groopies time) lol

It is sad that in todays world its all about stats (just to rise high enough to be seen & heard)
but information truly is power lol

26 Tracks of Music that's outside my comfort zone, yet works really well for amateur work

The idea behind this collection is so that YouTube video makers can use music without fear of their film being banned. Once you buy the album (or the mp3 downloads) you can use them in your video.
You can add the adsence to your videos if you want, but overtime you maybe informed the track is owned by a 3rd party whose advert goes onto your video
(it wont affect your youtube account status OR your video.. Unless You also used (c) music from somewhere else, then youtube gets nancy about to (c) company's arguing & the vids blocked)
It's not advised to use music from real movies in your film, and that's the idea of my cds...
But at some stage I may use Music Publishing Rights (but my terms WONT be blocked in any countries, unless you were foolish enough to use any music from a real movie or (c) company....
