Classic with Style's Calender Pageant: Another Successful Year

This past Sunday, Classic with Style held another successful pageant. This year's theme...well was the past year. The Calender pageant is one of the most fun because throughout the year, various models represent each month. As a former Ms. November, I chose the month due to my rl birthday. I wonder how everyone else chose their months? Anyway, it was an amazing time for all. How about a quick pic recap?

The finalists took to the runway in barely there bikinis and swimwear. Philippe, the only male contestant, thankfully did NOT wear a bikini ;) Looking good Phil!

I missed the talent portions, so no pictures there, but I did get a shot of one of the pageant intermission dances. Looks like Trainer Vicky has been super busy! There were masses of bunnies back stage. You know what they say about rabbits? It's no myth. They do multiply! It's too cute in Second Life though.

Lastly, the finalists had to wear formal wear, but it was formal wear with a theme in mind. What was the theme? It was the ultra sexy idea of the Bond girl or just James Bond.

Which finalist do you think captured the Bond essence?

I was thinking the last picture captured the essence but that's cheating since I already know the results! Congratulations to Sunrae Suntzu! She wowed the judges throughout and perhaps it was her take on Octopussy that made their minds up to hand her the crown and a whopping 100,000L prize!

Tonight's styling event was a special event because one) the world didn't end, and two) the top three won 1000Ls! Congratulations to Phil, Caralyne, and Ania for their bubbly take on New Year's Eve!

It's almost time to ring in the new year! Provided the world doesn't end in December, but hey let's not be dreary, let's be happy! I know the UCWS November class is happy. They graduated December 2, 2012 in front of their friends, families, and loved ones from the University of Classic with Style.

This month's valedictorian and best blogger must have been a difficult choice for CEO Anrol Anthony because...well...it's not easy! Each student worked hard, so each and every one of them should feel proud that they survived the intensive three week course. However, tradition stands!

Tonight Classic with Style crowned their 2012 Ms. Beautiful. 200,000 Lindens was given away tonight, and the lucky crown winner won a whopping 100,000 Lindens! I had a massive real life assignment that was due today, so I wasn't able to attend tonight's festivities, but Classic with Style's photographer Janet Brink captured some gorgeous shots.

Class of October 2012 ends with a bang!

Congratulations to the University of Classic with Style's October 2012 graduates! This month's graduation started off with a bang as Tiffani Celestalis led the lovely ladies in a surprise dance. Wearing the daring Gaga ensemble from Anrol Anthony's Collection, they put on quite the show!

Next came their walk down the runway. These girls are good! They barely broke a sweat during their dance and walked the runway with poise and confidence.

This year's valedictorian demonstrated that this award truly is an academic achievement. Caralyne had stellar grades, a killer blog, and she participated in many of Classic With Style's nightly styling events. Congratulations to you Caralyne! Keep rocking that runway!

CWS welcomes the newest ladies into their virtual family! Each of them deserves to feel proud. It's not easy to graduate because it is an intensive 3 weeks, but they all met the challenge!

SF Design's Super Model Finale

Content creators are a big reason why Second Life continues to roll. Wouldn't you agree? They allow Second Life residents to dress up, dress down, dress however they want! It's always a privilege to represent them, and tonight Swaffette Firefly chose the model who would represent SF Designs' Super Model. It wasn't easy though! Her scores were very close! The finalists Thrishia, MsChevia, and Phil were all in the running this evening due to their gorgeous styling throughout the elimination period.

Classic with Style hosted the evening's events, and it was not only fashion, it was also a creative take on how we use that fashion, so they incorporated talent in the finale. We don't always stand in one spot while wearing designs. Much like real life, we dance, we sing, or we are, at the very least, active in the clothes we wear. After the talent and swimwear, Thrishia, MsChevia, and Phil put on their finest SF Design formal wear.

Aren't they all stunning? Well, Phil definitely registers more on the so hot radar ;) Regardless all looked wonderful tonight. After Swaffette tallied her overall scores, one was named SF Design's Super Model!

Loads of beautiful people came out to watch Classic with Style's Ms. Universe Pageant! The pageant was beautiful as always and the finalists brought out their best to compete for the title.

Don't they look tense? It's exciting to wait for the results, but it's a nail-biter at the same! Can't imagine how the finalists feel. They must have been shaking in their stilettos, but don't they look amazing?

Congratulations to the University of Classic with Style September 2012 graduates! A new batch of students graduated Friday night. They managed to survive the intensive three week course with style! All the ladies were pretty in pink as they took to the Dome runway, and our lone gent was devastatingly handsome in his black graduation gear. New graduates Bebebluesky and Liv Frentis were unable to attend due to real life, but a sincere congratulations to them as well!

Also a warm congrats to this month's valedictorian and best blogger. To be considered as class valedictorian, a student must demonstrate a optimistic attitude and help his or her fellow students. In this case, the trainers felt that Kitty Picadilly was all that and more. Anrol Anthony chose this month's best blogger and she decided that Phedre's blog really covered her journey as a student and her time at CWS events. Congrats to you too Phedre. As their reward, both ladies received a scholarship to post graduate studies at UCWS.

Ms. Sophisticated Pageant 2012!

Classic with Style puts on some amazing pageants and tonight was no different. Sure they get long, but wow they are fun to watch! Tonight CWS awarded one lucky finalist a gorgeous crown, from Alyssa Bijoux and a whopping 100,000 Lindens!

Each finalist had to prepare a swimsuit for her birth year, a fantasy based talent, and a stunning gown with a parasol. It's always fun to guess how old we are in rl, so it was a treat to see how so many different age groups actually log in to SL. Ranging from the 60's to the 80's, each finalist rocked a swimsuit of their choice. Actually there was one that dated even further than that. Sunrae Suntzu went way back in time and used biblical Eve as her inspiration!

The talent portion was fantasy based. I think we all can appreciate a bit of fairy tale especially since most of us have full blown lives in sl ;) The sets for talents have become bigger and better each pageant. It's no longer ok to simply dance on the runway. Now the finalists are expected to design a set to accompany their talent. Well...they probably don't have to build one, but I know I would feel left out if I didn't bring out an amazing set. It definitely gives that special wow factor to the talent.

Last but not least, the finalists took to the runway in their choice of sophisticated gown...but there was a catch...and that catch was they also had to wear a parasol. It was so deliciously feminine. Take a look at the slide show for some of the moments I caught while at the pageant.

A couple of the pictures have our newest models dancing along with Debbiedoo Tigerfish for the intermissions. Kudos to you girls!

The slide show sort of kind of tells you who wins, but I'll tell you anyway!

After a long deliberation, the judges Steve101 and Cristal Triellis, Diamond Avatar designer, decided that Sidney Abbot was to be the new Ms. Sophisticated 2012!

Congratulations to you Sidney! Also congratulations to 1st runner up Sunrae Suntzu and 2nd runner up Janet Brink. Other awards were also given to the most creative talent and outfit of the night Ms. Ladysunfire Erin and to the most photogenic Ms. Janet Brink.

Congratulations to all of you who participated in this event. Each of you was breathtaking!

UCWS August 2012 Graduation Event!

Draven lost his Internet connection towards the end of the show, but the show must go on...and he was announced as this month's valedictorian! He was chosen for his leadership qualities, good nature, and ability to stay focused with a pregnant wife. I made up that last part. He does have a pregnant wife, but he was able to take care of his familial duties AND stay at the top of his coursework. He also won a scholarship to study the post graduate program at UCWS. Well done Draven!

Phil and Ania

Also graduating on Friday was Phil and Ania. They took part in UCWS Advanced Seminar and passed rigorous training. Since CWS calls it a doctorate program, you may now call them Doctor. Or at any rate they are definitely CWS supermodels! Congratulations to Phil and Ania!

I thought I lost these photos! I accidentally saved them onto my flash drive...ooops! Ms. International 2012 happened some time ago, but I wanted to post anyway. I missed a portion of the pageant due to teaching a class, but I caught the end before they announced the winners. All the finalists looked stunning, so it must have been a difficult one to judge. Classic with Style held their Master Styling Finale Part II this evening! Surrounded by flamingos, swans, and crowds of adoring fans, the finalists Janet Brink, Ania Lennie, and Princess Violeta Grace dazzled on the runway in their versions of Gypsy style, Snow White style, and Hippie Chic style! Each finalist did a wonderful job, so the judges Executive Trainer Vicky, Master Styling Part I Winner Kiralyn, and CWS president Steve101 must have had a difficult time in choosing the winner. Classic with Style hosted their annual CWS Ms. Hollywood Pageant last night, and true to theme, all the finalists looked red carpet ready! It was a stunning show, and I wish I had more pictures to share, but since I was part of the intermission entertainment, and I had to switch to my laptop, I wasn't able to get shots of all the themes. While we all waited for results, I took some snapshots of some of CWS regulars. As you can see from the collage, we had loads of fun!

As the crowd listened to live singer Reno, the judges must have been buried in debate or in their calculators because it seemed to take the longest time before Anrol Anthony announced the winners.

Styling All Kinds of Fashion: CWS Styling Fashion Show

Classic with Style was an array of showgirls, witches, Mexicans, Dancing Queens, and more this Friday night as they held their monthly styling fashion show. Sounds like quite the collection of people yes? That's the fun of the styling events! Each weeknight CWS holds a styling event for all of their active contestants. Each night holds a different theme and the three contestants who best represent that particular theme are awarded a cash prize. Now...the styling fashion show features the best of the best of that previous month, so the selection of outfits are quite eclectic. What's more, out of the contestants one lucky lady or gent gets the coveted Most Creative Model of the Month. View the slideshow below to see who made it this month!

Anrol Anthony, CWS CEO, says: "Awards Night is a chance for us to honor those in the community who represent the best we have to offer. We couldn't do what we do without all the models, designers, our awesome entertainers in sl such as our singers and DJ's business Owner and photographers and tonight we'll acknowledge those individuals and institutions."

Well said Anrol! Speaking of awesome designers, Didier Rascon was on hand to pick this month's most creative model. This is her third time if I am keeping the right number in mind, so she is a styling force to be reckoned with!

Sidney Abbot accepts her trophy and new title and says: " I am so honored to be up here with these women!"

Sexy judge and designer extraordinaire Didier Rascon received a trophy for his outstanding design work and he says: " thank you so so much Anrol and Steve for the award and the kind words ! i so so enjoy to be menber of CWS since 2010 now and i really feel proud now to be member of the staff :) thank you for being such wonderful people in my life :) I love [Laylah] to bits :) muahhhhhs."

Ok, I took some creative licence there...he actually said "I love you to bits :) muahhhhhs." ;)

We love you too Didier!

Anrol wasn't done handing out the awards! One model in particular has show grace under pressure, sensational styling, and kindness and was awarded Most Prestigious Model!

The lovely Janet Brink accepts the Most Prestigious Model trophy and she says: " Thank you so much for this honor. It means so much to me."

Hot and Sexy Beach Pageant 2012!

It was another fabulous event at Classic With Style. Today we had the pageant finale for the Hot and Sexy Beach Pageant. Sometimes SL is cranky for me, but today was a good day...well for the most part. I only had one finalist not rezz completely for me, but she only looked short so it was kind of like normal real life!

This pageant marks the summer time and the themes were perfect for the hot summer season. The lovely ladies rocked their thong bikinis! Good thing the air conditioner wasn't on full blast because a lot of skin was bared.

My favorite portion of any pageant is usually the talent. This time the theme was Exotic Dancers, so we had poles, chair dances, and a bit of fire! It is normal to award the most creative talent at the end of the pageant with a trophy and this year's winner totally rocked it with her set and her props. She set the room on fire....quite literally...with her flames as she changed from her delicate angel costume to a naughty devil costume. Sunrae always raises the bar when it comes to talent. She is truly innovative. Congrats to you Sunrae!

Congratulations to all the ladies. Speaking from experience, pageants are really hard to do. They take lots of time and sometimes it hurts when we don't come in first, but each of you looked gorgeous and I was proud of you for doing such an amazing job! Congratulations to you Sunrae! It was another lovely graduation show this past Friday! Nine awesome students graduated and walked away with their new tags CWS New Models 2012! This class was one of the largest classes in some time! It's a tough three weeks to take and one must have plenty of time to attend classes each day and complete the homework assignments. So congratulations to Ania, Aqua, Ariella, Eva, Sothis, Serenity, Silky, Babette, and Wulla! You made it!

This year the May Valedictorian and Best Blogger won a full scholarship to attend the advanced UCWS classes! Yay to Ania our May 2012 Valedictorian! Her frequent stying participation and attention to her homework assignments earned her that trophy. Last but not least, and my favorite part of the ceremony, Eva won the award for Best Blogger. She went above and beyond her assignments and nabbed that prize! Check out her awesome blog!

Classic With Style's Top Model 2012 Pageant

Chain smoking, wine guzzling, and nail biting consumes the majority of pageant finalists, and that is while they are getting ready! Can you imagine the tension during the show? Just teasing! Well I don't know what each finalist is really doing while he or she is waiting to make the walk down the runway, but I do know that pageants are scary events. Classic With Style put on their 2nd annual Top Model 2012 today in the stunning Red Venue Finale. Ms. Janet Brink walked away with her 2nd title and Most Creative Talent, so congratulations to her! In addition, congratulations to the first runner up Sunrae for also winning Ms. Photogenic! Reese came in third for his dashing appearance on the runway. Congratulations to everyone!

We had another fab graduation show this past Friday! Congratulations to the April Class! This was such an awesome group of students. They all worked so well together and it was obvious that they were a team because they were all supporting and encouraging each other backstage. Teamwork is good! Master Styling Finale!

After many weeks of styling challenges, Kiralyn Destiny and Janet Brink took to the dome stage to show off three styles. The first style of the night was burlesque! The judges found out at that moment that props and music would be part of the stylings, and while it was a fun addition, I felt so bad for them because props can be fickle, but they handled it beautifully.

Next Kiralyn and Janet had to style a Lady Gaga themed outfit. I love love love Lady Gaga, and I think she pushes the limits in fashion, but she does so in a good way. Well...maybe the meat thing she did was a bit too much, at least for me. I'm a well done kind of girl, and I know that probably cooks out the flavor, but it also ensures my piece of meat will not bleed when I stick my fork and knife into it. That is a bit too scary for me. However, speaking of scary, Janet wore a stunning outfit made of butterflies, and I say stunning because in SL it really was, but in RL, I would probably run and scream if so many butterflies landed on me. Nevertheless it pushed the limits and that is what I thought a Lady Gaga type outfit would do. Kiralyn went for the uber sexy exhibitionist style that I think Lady Gaga would also go for.

Last but not least, Kiralyn and Janet had to style a red carpet look. Both ladies were so exquisite! It was so hard to chose. The results were exciting as always, and Kiralyn's name popped up in fireworks as the Master Stylist of 2012. Congratulations to the both of them!
