How To Copy Music File From Audio Cd to PC with mp3 or wma format? Normally when we explore an audio cd, we find out that the file size in the cd is less than 100kb..If we copy it direct to our pc, for sure it wont work..So how u do this? Follow this instruction:

1) Open the file in the cd using Window Media Player

2) Find a menu either Rip CD or Copy Cd

3) When you already find that menu, click record/ copy the cd

4) When it completes, find where the file is saved. Usually it will be saved in My Music.

5) When u find it, copy it to your desired location in your PC.

Easy right?One more thing, when you use this method, the file will be converted to wma..To convert it to mp3 format so you can play it through handphone or whatever, google the software by searching convert wma to mp3..Then finish and enjoy..

First:
Make sure you prepare mentally so that you know what to do without panicking during the earthquake. Try to stay calm during the earthquake. Many times, injuries or death occur which could have been prevented due to panic. When the earthquake starts, begin to think about the steps you need to take, which are outlined in the following steps.

Second:
If you are inside when the earthquake starts, stand in doorway or crouch under a sturdy desk or table. Be sure to stay a safe distance from any windows, glass doors or large pieces of furniture containing doors or which are not secured to a wall. If you are outside during the earthquake, get away from buildings, trees, telephone poles and power lines. If you are driving, drive away from underpasses and overpasses. Stop in clear area and stay in the vehicle until the earthquake has stopped.

Third
After the earthquake, check for injuries. Provide first aid as needed and seek medical attention if required.

Fourth
If you are at home (or when you return home) check for gas, water and sewage leaks as well as downed power lines or electrical shorts. Turn off utilities as required by the situation.

Fifth
Check for building damage and potential problems during aftershocks. If severe cracks or other structural weaknesses have occurred, these could give way during aftershocks. If the structure you are in is no longer safe, retreat to another location.

Sixth
Remember to wear shoes after the earthquake. It will prevent injuries if things have fallen off of shelves or out of cupboards

How To Do A Proper Push Up? Here the techniques:

1. Hand placement: hands are to be placed just outside the shoulders. If you were to draw a rectangle that encompassed your body with the sides of the rectangle being the edge of your shoulders, then your hands should be just outside that. See the following photo:

2. Foot placement: it says everywhere that feet are supposed to be at midline. I feel that you can have equally good form if you place your feet at shoulder width apart, i.e. within that rectangle described and drawn above. I say that because pushing your feet out actually helps you from arching your back by forcing the abs to tighten.

3. Body position: your body should be perfectly inline, from the neck to the heels, throughout the push up.

4. Head position: you have a couple of choices here. Many people suggest looking straight down. When I do that however, I end up moving my head up and down with the push up (which is incorrect - the head should be perfectly still). Another option, which is one I prefer, is to look “up” slightly. That helps focus on one point, and it also helps keepng the head from bobbing around and avoiding neck strain.

5. Top position: while in the top part of the push up, the arms should be straight, but should not be locked at the elbows. If you don’t allow the elbows to lock, the muscles will be conracting the entire time.

6. Bottom position: at minimum, you must go down until the inside portion of your elbows are 90 degrees. You may however choose to go all the way down to the floor if you would like to increase your range of motion and srength.

7. Timing: experimenting with timing, I have found that doing 40 push ups a minute is a good compromise. Ideally, you would do each push up in 4 seconds. However, when going for maximum reps, it’s not really ideal to do slow push ups. Doing very fast push ups though won’t give quite as good a pump.

After practicing the perfect push up technique, I started using rotating handles to get maximum muscle stamina from my push ups. They’re not necessary, but they sure help a great deal.

For Yahoo! Messenger users, it’s now possible to run multiple instances of Yahoo! Messengers (polygamy feature) and log into multiple Y!Msgr accounts with just a simple registry hack. So if you need to open and log-in multiple Yahoo! Messenger accounts as you have a few Yahoo! ID or various other reason, just use the small registry registration file below that once click, will modify and merge the registry setting required to run and execute multiple Yahoo! Messengers at the same time on a computer.

Download ym8multi.zip, extract it and run “ym8multi.reg” contained inside the archive. Once the registry is patched, you can now starting and running multi Yahoo! Messenger with different login or Yahoo! ID accounts. If you want to uninstall the patch/hack, download the ym8multi_uninst.zip uninstaller which contains ym8multi_uninst.reg. Once double click on this uninstaller registration registry value file, it will edit the registry value and set it to disable the ability for Y!M 8 to launch multiple copy of instances.

If you prefer to edit and change the registry setting yourself manually, without using the above registry registration file, simply launch the registry editor (type regedit at Run command), and navigate to the following registry branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yahoo\pager\Test

Im sure many of us want to know how to choose a suitable laptop before we buy it. First, ask a question . "What are we gonna be using the laptop for?" If the answer is simply like this "For some normal stuff, like surfing the web, a little word processing and spreadsheet work, maybe some minor photo touchup, emails, some multimedia and you know, all that sort of stuff.", so these are the answer. Its maybe long, but you better read it and i can assure when you finish read this article, you will get the idea to choose a good laptop.

Nowadays there are simply lots of different notebooks that can do all "that sort of stuff". So how do you go about narrowing down your choices? Off course, if you are going for a particular kind of looks and style then basically you have narrowed it down a lot.

But style aside, here is what I think you need to have in a modern notebook to do all "that kind of normal stuff":

At least 2 USB ports: One to plug in your mouse and another for whatever other gadget you want to connect to like maybe a portable flash drive for example. I am not a touchpad or touchstick kind of person and I like a mouse for extended work and surfing the web. I don't want to need to unplug the mouse each time I need to access something on my flash drive.

SD card reader: You want to get this built in, especially if you also have a digital camera and want to always download pictures from it. Make sure your reader reads the newer SDHC cards too. Off course you can get an external reader too - but having one built in is very convenient. No fun having to lug accessories around if you don't have to.

A Large 160 gigabytes or more hard disk: You know what they say, your stuff will grow to accomodate the space you have. Better start with a large one to begin with. Soon you will be filling it up with your music, movies, photos and you will be wondering where all that space went.

2 Gigabytes of RAM minimum: This should be minimum these days, especially if you're going to run Windows Vista. Too little memory and your system will slow to a crawl. It also would be good to check if you could upgrade to more memory in the future without throwing away your old RAM. RAM and hard disk space - you will never get enough of either.

Video RAM: These are memory used for displaying graphics on screen. Go for at least 256MB and make sure that these are dedicated video memory and not shared with the main notebook RAM. If you are into games and graphic intensive stuff, get one with more Video RAM. Good to check on the packages of the software and games that you intent to use and see their requirements on Video RAM.

DVD9 capable DVD-Writer: You should also go for one which will read the latest blue-ray disk. DVDs are currently these are the most convenient way to archive away large amount of data. Make sure you get quality discs if your data is critical.

LAN and Wifi Connectivity: These are the 2 methods you can hook up your computer to the internet. Try to get one with a 1G LAN if you can and as for WiFi get the 54Mbps variety at least (a/b/g standard) with backward compatibility to older 11Mbps standards. In my opinion, built in Wifi is a must have. Even if you don't travel, you probably want to do your computing around the house without worrying about a LAN port availability.

Bluetooth: A must have these days as this allow you to connect wirelessly to your cameras, handphones, headsets and also mouse nowadays. Go for the Bluetooth 2.0 or later standards. A bluetooth hardware is only as good as it's software drivers. As a basic set, the software should include profiles for headsets,stereo headsets (AVRCP), Serial Port, File Transfer, Printer, Human Interface Device and Network Access. These 'profiles' are the software protocols that allows your bluetooth hardware to communicate with various class of devices.

Modem with Voice: In a pinch you still want to be able to dial into the internet via the 'ole phone jack. Also it is convenient to be able to dial up your contacts with a click of a button. With the right software, this will allow you to send and receive faxes too - paperlessly.

Firewire port: These are a little faster than USB and some select peripherals use them. Good to have in my opinion but not critical.

PCMCIA cardbus slots: Must have at least one. That is the only way if in the future you need to add another 'built in' function to your notebook. Go for one with the ExpressCard standard

Usability and Ergonomics

Also important in your consideration, is the usability and ergonomics of the notebook that you are considering. Most people got too engrossed with the 'specs' and forgot about usability. When you are looking at the notebook that you are considering, think about:

Size and weight of the notebook. Do you prefer the full size type or a lighter sub-notebook type would be more your style. Keep in mind that in general battery life won't be as good in a smaller notebook. In my opinion, unless you always want to be plugged into the wall all the time, your battery should last for at least 2 hours or more. Be careful when judging the size and weight of the notebook. Things then to get heavier if you carry them for a distance. Also if you plan to use the laptop on your lap, then the lighter the better.

Type of LCD screen. There are two types in general - the clear glossy type or the normal matte type. The clear type is good if you watch a lot of movies and want to do presentation to a wider audience. But they can be glaring if ambient light is reflected off them. I prefer the normal type for working as they are easy on my eyes, but you probably want to look at both before deciding. Set the screen to it's brightest setting and see if that is bright enough for your liking. Good to check this in shops with bright lights. Also consider screen resolution and aspect ratio (widescreen or regular).

Keyboard: This is the main input device of your system and you will be hitting on the keys a lot. You want to check out the keyboard's tactile and feel and see whether it suits your typing style. The keys shouldn't be too small if you intend to type for a long time. Make sure the key presses are not too 'hard' and all the keys pressed down with about the same pressure. It is irritating to type, for example, when the 'shift' keys are hard to press down.

Wrist warmer syndrome: this is a definite no no in my book. Check if the keyboard and the wrist rest area (where you would typically put your wrist when typing) gets too warm after prolonged usage. One way to check for this to go to a shop where they have working displays of the model that you want to purchase. As a rough guideline, check the location of the hard disk drive of the notebook. If the hard disk is located near or beneath the wrist area, then you are more likely to get a 'wrist warmer' sympton.

Speakers is next or particularly, how loud are the speakers. Some laptops tend to have low volume on speakers and if you are going to play some games or movies on it, this is going to be not fun. Bring some typical 'soft' mp3 files in a thumbdrive and play them in the notebook. Crank up the volume to the max and see if they are loud enough for you.

External mic and headphones jacks. This is a must have. Also check their location on the notebook. I like them on the side nearer to me because it is then easier to plug in a headphone when needed instead of looking behind the notebook for the jack. External mic is required if you want more sensitive (or quality) recordings or if you intend to use VoIP telephony with a specialized headset.

USB Sockets on the sides are better than at the back in my opinion. Easier to reach when you are plugging in your mouse, thumb drive and other stuff.

3 button touchpad. Applications now do make use of the middle button of the mouse now, like Firefox for example allows you to open a new browser tab with a click of the middle button. Check the feel of the touchpad make sure that your finger are comfortable to glide on them. If you are the type that sweats on your fingers, then maybe you want to put a protector on the pad or just use a mouse.

Ventilation and heat: Nowadays notebooks are getting a wee bit hot for my liking. Look around the notebook and check out there the air intake and exhaust are. If you are planning on using your laptop on your lap, make sure that the position of the air intakes (usually at the bottom of the notebook) are not likely to be covered by your pants or skirt/blouse. However for long term use on uneven and soft surfaces (like bed or sofa for example) then getting one of those USB powered laptop coolers may be worth it.

In the final decision, you will have to come to terms with the budget at hand and the features that you really need and those that you can do without. Hopefully this guide will point you in the correct direction in coming to that decision.

All this may sound kinda daunting, but if you look at your purchases carefully from these angles, you are more likely to end up with a laptop that you'd actually enjoy using.

Snow Storm Hit New York

New York might be the city that never sleeps but a late winter snow storm has paralyzed the city, snarling roads and airports, shutting down schools and even causing a death in Central Park.

Thursday evening's storm dropped 17 inches (43 cm) of snow on the city and forced a rare school closure for hundreds of thousands of students.

The New York Times is also reporting that thousands of flights have been grounded at the city's major three airports and that thousands of customers in the New York area have lost power. The bad news is that the storm seems pretty happy to stick around the area.

Latest News Winter Olympic 2010: Vancouver Canucks keeper Roberto Luongo has been called into the starting line-up as the pre-tournament favourites for Winter Olympics gold aim to kick-start their campaign.

Defeat by the Americans in their final preliminary group game left Canada well down the seedings in sixth place, heading into the knockout phase of the tournament, and if they get past the Germans they will have to face arch rivals Russia in Wednesday's quarter-finals, a match-up many did not expect to see until the final.

Canadian head coach Mike Babcock said on Monday that he would be benching 37-year-old New Jersey Devils goaltender Brodeur in favour of hometown hero Luongo. "We're in the winning business and to win in any game, at any level, you need big saves, you need momentum-changing saves" Babcock said. "We're looking for Lu to do that."

Dropping Brodeur was not an unexpected move with he and Luongo the subject of considerable debate in Canada as to who is best equipped to help the team win gold. "I don't think he was surprised," Babcock said, regarding Brodeur's reaction to being dropped. "He understands it's about the team, not the individual."

Defenceman Drew Doughty said he understood the concern of Canadian fans about their ice hockey team, given the struggle they had in beating Switzerland followed by defeat to the USA. "I'm sure the whole country is worried about how we've been playing so far, but we're still confident," Doughty said. "It's going to be a longer route that's for sure but there are no doubts in our minds that we can do it."

In the same half of the draw as Canada, Germany and Russia, Olympic champions Sweden await the winners of Norway versus Slovakia for their quarter-final opposition while in the other half, the top-seeded USA will play either Switzerland or Belarus, while Finland awaits either the Czech Republic or Latvia.

Team USA general manager Brian Burke was in far from celebratory mood following his side's win over the Canadians. "People can say that Canada didn't play well but I don't agree with that," Burke said. A serious action had been taken to reduce unemployment rate in US. At Washington, the Senate voted to advance a $15 billion job-creation package Monday, showing a rare hint of bipartisanship as five Republicans voted to end debate on the Democratic bill, including newly elected Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts.

The measure, which includes tax breaks for businesses hiring unemployed workers, moved ahead on a 62-30 vote, with Sen. Ben Nelson (D., Neb.) voting against it. The Senate is expected to vote on final passage of the bill within days.

Polls show the public deeply concerned about the economy and a stubbornly high unemployment rate. President Barack Obama has said job creation is a top goal of the administration. But while few senators took issue with the jobs package forwarded Monday, several Republicans said they were unhappy that Majority Leader Harry Reid had blocked a larger $85 billion program.

The centerpiece of Monday's bill was a provision that frees any company hiring an unemployed worker from paying the worker's 6.2% Social Security payroll tax in 2010. If the company keeps the new hire for a year, it would receive a $1,000 tax credit.

The bill also would allow businesses to write off the depreciation of new equipment more quickly. It would extend authorization for highway and transit construction funding. And it would help state and local governments issue construction bonds.

Republicans were angry that Mr. Reid set aside provisions that would have extended other tax breaks, including a tax credit for research-and-development spending. The bill also excludes an extension of unemployment-insurance benefits and Cobra health programs.

"This vote was not about jobs. I wish it were," Sen. Orrin Hatch (R., Utah.) said. "Two weeks ago, the majority leader decided to pull the rug out from under a common-sense bipartisan bill only hours after it was introduced…and then quickly made sure that Republicans had no input into the measure."

Democrats said they planned to address these items in separate legislation and that they wanted the slimmed-down bill advanced Monday to focus on job creation. "This Senate jobs bill is not perfect," said Mr. Brown, whose election victory in Massachusetts last month put an end to the Democrats ability to mount a 60-vote majority in the Senate, the number of votes needed to overcome filibusters. "I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work."

Mr. Brown was joined in voting yes by fellow Republican Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine, George Voinovich of Ohio and Christopher Bond of Missouri. Democrats suggested the vote could open the door for a period of greater bipartisanship. "It's really a new day," said Mr. Reid of Nevada.

The vote represented a successful gamble by Mr. Reid. Earlier this month, Sens. Max Baucus (D., Mont.) and Charles Grassley (R., Iowa) proposed an $85 billion jobs bill that had bipartisan support. But some Democrats complained that the legislation was loaded with extraneous provisions designed to win Republican votes.

So Mr. Reid offered his stripped down version, hoping some Republicans would come around, especially with voters so anxious about joblessness.The House passed a $154 billion jobs bill late last year, including elements similar to those in the Senate bill. Mr. Reid plans to unveil a series of additional job-creation measures in coming months.

A rare copy of the first comic book to feature Superman sold for $1m (£640,000) yesterday, smashing the previous record for a comic.The 1938 edition of Action Comics No1 was sold by a private seller to a private buyer. Neither released their name.

The issue, which has a cover featuring Superman lifting a car, originally cost 10 cents. The transaction was conducted through the auction site ComicConnect.com. Stephen Fishler, the co-owner of the site and its sister dealership, Metropolis Collectibles, orchestrated the sale. Fishler said the seller was a "well-known individual" in New York with a pedigree collection and the buyer had previously bought an Action Comics No1 of lesser importance.

"It [Action Comics No1] is considered by most people as the most important book," said John Dolmayan, the comic book enthusiast and dealer best known as the drummer in the rock band System of a Down. "It kind of ushered in the age of the superheroes."

Dolmayan, who owns Torpedo Comics, paid $317,000 for an Action Comics No1 issue on behalf of a client last year. That purchase is considered the "official public record" for a comic book sale, Mark Zaid, the marketing director for the Comic Book Collecting Association, said.

Zaid added that there had been other private sales in the $300,000 to $450,000 range. The copy sold yesterday fetched a much higher price because it was in better condition, rated as an 8.0 grade out of 10. "The fact that this book is completely unrestored and still has an 8.0 grade, it's kind of like a diamond or a precious stone," Dolmayan said. "It's very rare."

Only around 100 copies of Action Comics No1 are believed to remain in existence, and only a handful have ever been rated so highly. It is more unusual still for such copies to be made available for sale. "It is still a little stunning to see 'a comic book' and '$1m' in the same sentence," Fishler said. "There's only one time a collectible hits the $1m threshold."

Latest News From Vancouver 2010: Skip John Shuster's team got an early lead over Canada, but wound up losing 7-2 in a shortened match. The Americans fell to 2-6 going into their finale Monday night against China.

Shuster won bronze four years ago, helping bring more attention to this sport. It was the first U.S. curling medal at the Olympics and the first in a major men's competition since 1978. They couldn't build on it, though, losing three straight matches in extra ends (which are like innings in baseball).

"We've played good and just haven't quite gotten there," Shuster said.

The New Revolution To Electrical World: The most recent 60 minutes Bloom Box episode was an absolute delight and intrigue to witness and watch as one of the smartest men in the United States of America unveiled his most prized and revered inventions to the general populace.

Lesley Stahl spearheaded the 60 minutes Bloom Box episode in which she enjoyed some up close and enlightening moments with Mr. K R Sridhar; the Chief Executive Officer at Bloom Technologies. Although the Bloom Box technology has already been brought in to practice and implementation by some prominent business commodities such as Google and the trading company we all know as eBay, it has yet to be made available to the general populace for utilization at either their dwellings or any other purpose where they may feel the need for an alternative source of energy production.

According to Mr. K R Sridhar, the small Bloom Box is enough to power a huge infrastructure such as a thirty thousand square ft. office compound. And if that is what you can do with just one of those things, imagine what you could if you linked or connected a dozen of the Bloom Boxes. Lesley Stahl was clearly amazed and impressed by the potential that Mr. K R Sridhar was marketing and claiming, but all that remains to be tested by the general populace to earn their belief and trust.

Great Moment in Canada vs U.S

9:30 p.m. ET -- Huge boos as another penalty called on Canada and the U.S. returns to the power play. Not quite nervous time at Molson, but clearly the U.S. is giving a better showing than the home crowd would like.

9:27 p.m. ET -- Big cheers and whistles as Canada kills of the power play and even bigger cheers as Crosby has a nice chance, but all for naught.

9:24 p.m. ET -- For the third period in a row US starts with the first flurry. And Crosby picks up a penalty at 1:44 of the third.

9:20 p.m. ET -- Stewart leads crowd in cheer of "Go Canada Go" before wrapping up. On to the third period.

9:10 p.m. ET -- "We may be down but we are outshooting them," said Tyler Stewart, the short bald drummer from the Barenaked Ladies, who is in a side band called the Black Aces. "We fight hard."

9:07 p.m. ET -- Staal picks up a holding penalty, the first of the second period as he takes down Rafalski, though the call was unpopular here after the refs had thus far let both teams play. The second period ends, but the power play will carryover into the final period.

9:04 p.m. ET -- After allowing the third goal on just 15 shots, Brodeur stops two U.S. breakaways getting the Molson crowd back into it.

9:03 p.m. ET -- After some bumping with Brodeur. The U.S. scores, giving the U.S. its third lead of the night and again momentarily quieting the Molson crowd. USA 3, CANADA 2

8:53 p.m. ET -- During a media timeout I talked with fan Heather Roundsky of Lindsay, Ontario who said the game is phenomenal, but said she wasn't worried by early U.S. lead. "The boys have it in 'em" she said. "They'll do it and get the job done." Meanwhile, the crowd applause the introduction of a VIP in attendance Michael Peca from the 2002 Team Canada team which won the gold.

8:47 p.m. ET -- The crowd at Molson is taunting U.S. goalie Ryan Miller. We're only a couple blocks from Canada Hockey Place and it's so loud here it's hard to be sure if he can't hear the crowd.

8:44 p.m. ET -- Not that they ever got too quiet, the crowd at Molson is back into it, stomping and cheering during a hockey-themed commercial.

8:40 p.m. ET -- Canada ties it up on a shot by Heatley and the place goes nuts. USA 2, CANADA 2

8:35 p.m. ET -- Back to live action as the second period gets under way and again the U.S. gets the first chance.

8:32 p.m. ET -- And surprise guest between periods -- Canadian gold medal winning snowboarder Maelle Ricker. They are now playing Ricker's medal ceremony, which naturally provides a good excuse to play Canadian anthem. Crowd sings along as we get ready for the second period of hockey.

8:21 p.m. ET -- Last minute of the first. Canada has a couple more chances and one of their player goes down. All the referees at Molson wanted a penalty, but no call from those on the ice. USA goes to dressing room up 2-1 despite being outshot more than three to one. The host is back out trying to keep the crowd pumped, showing highlights of Canada's gold medal winning efforts at the Games.

8:10 p.m. ET -- Patrick Marleau had a great chance but Ryan Miller stoned him eliciting the expected groans at Molson.

8:07 p.m. ET -- Lots of end-to-end action and some huge hits have this crowd on pins and needles and it's only just over halfway through the first period.

8:02 p.m. ET -- But then just moments later(22 seconds) Team USA responds with a goal of its own, again quieting things as the US goes back on top 2-1. Goal to Rafalski, his second of the game. USA 2, CANADA 1

8:01 p.m. ET -- Several good chances for Team Canada on the power play but none convert. Moments after it expires, Canada scores, prompting enormous cheers. USA 1, CANADA 1

7:56 p.m. ET -- Now, in a much more popular call here, Team Canada is getting its first power play as USA gets called for high sticking. Joe Pavelski did clock Ryan Getzlaf pretty good as the replay shows.

7:54 p.m. ET -- "There's plenty of time," said one Canada fan, Bill Burns. "It was just surprising they would score so early. I didn't expect anyone would score that early." The first penalty goes against Canada -- Ryan Getzlaf for goalie interference, needless to say an unpopular call here.

7:47 p.m. ET -- And the crowd is even more upset just seconds later as the USA puts the puck in the net taking a 1-0 lead just 41 seconds in. USA 1, CANADA 0

7:46 p.m. ET -- The US gets the first shot, forcing Brodeur to make the first save and momentarily quieting the crowd.

7:45 p.m. ET -- It's just warm-ups and a continuous chant of "Go Canada Go" has begun. As they show team USA, the onstage host says "polite applause, polite applause, that's what we do." The USA is wearing throwback jerseys reminiscent of the ones it wore 30 years ago in its 1980 Miracle On Ice upset of the Soviet Union. Some boos start. "Don't boo the Americans, pity them," the white suit wearing host says. Now the puck drop.
7:35 p.m. ET -- No hockey yet. Still watching speed skating. Final speedskating pair in the women's 1500m. An American, who draws boos and a Canadian. A proxy for the game? Canada ends up with a Silver I think, but can't hear over this crowd. Yep. Kristina Groves takes silver. Now on to the main event. Feet stomp as we go to hockey. Puck drop at 7:40 p.m. ET, we're told. Live feed not on yet.

7:28 p.m. ET -- We're watching Canadian Kristina Groves in the ladies 1500m speedskating final. It may not be hockey, but the Canadian woman is getting some loud cheers as she takes off. She's narrowly in the lead at the first split time. Huge cheers. The lead is bigger still with two laps to go. I can only imagine what the sound will be when game gets going. Deafening roar as she leads in final lap. "Go go go go," cheers the crowd. She slows a bit at the end, moving into second place with one pair to go, still getting cheers.

7:20 p.m. ET -- Look back there, there's one man in a USA jersey," the onstage host says. "Booooooo," roars the crowd "Slay him my minions," the host intones. Since this is the peace-loving nation of Canada people just laugh. Were this contest being held in Detroit, there might be a Canadian body by now. Even still, I worry a little for that guy's safety.

6:52 p.m. ET -- "Today is the day the USA stops winning medals," promised the live host, kicking off the hour-long countdown to the big game. On my way past Canada Hockey Place, site of the game itself, I ran into Matt Antosik of San Francisco, who was hoping against hope to land a ticket to the big game. "Just looking for one," he told passersby. "Not a scalper just a fan." The same technique landed him a free ticket to see Canada take on Norway, but he said he knows the odds are longer this time around. "This game is nearly impossible," he said. Then again, he said, Everyone was making fun of me last time and then it worked."

6:35 p.m. ET -- It's an hour until game time and the atmosphere is already beyond electric as the U.S. Is set to take on Canada in men's hockey. Although just a preliminary match, this game has taken on all the importance of a medal game. Some three hours before game time sporadic chants of "Go, Canada, Go" could be heard downtown. It's barely an exaggeration to say all of Canada will be watching. I'm live from the Molson Canadian Hockey House, a hockey themed pavilion adjacent to where the game is being played. Molson has already sold out with more than 2,000 paying just to see the game on the big screen here.

Vancouver 2010 Latest News: Bode Miller became the face of the U.S. Olympic Team in Vancouver Sunday with a comeback performance in the men's Super Combined that will be replayed in Olympic highlights for years to come.

Beginning the slalom portion of the competition, Mr. Miller was .76 seconds behind leader Aksel Svindal of Norway. A winner of two medals already, Mr. Miller needed to leapfrog some of the best slalom specialists in the world. During his run, he bobbed and weaved his way through the gates like a dancer before a final triumphant lunge through at the finish line that gave him a .33 second lead with just a handful of skiers left at the top of the hill.

As the crowd of more than 6,000 screamed for him, Mr. Miller waved his poles and basked in adoration that no one would have expected four years ago after the Turin Games. Then he was the angry, bad-boy of Team U.S.A., who criticized Olympic commercialism and boasted of his partying before races.

Minutes later, though, Norway's Mr. Svindal crashed in the final portion of his run, and Mr. Miller had his first Olympic gold medal, his third of the Games and his fifth overall, cementing his reputation as the greatest American skier ever.

"My legs were burning," Mr. Miller said after the race. "I was getting a little wobbly coming down toward the end. I couldn't even see the poles." Stepping for the first time to the top of the podium during the flower ceremony, Mr. Miller raised his arms in triumph and kept them up there for a good long time as the screams of the crowd bounced off the snow-covered hillsides and American flags swayed in the wind.

"Bode has done everything you could possibly do in skiing," said Will Brandenburg, an up-and-coming skier on Team U.S.A., who finished 10th Sunday. "He's won World Cups, he's won the overall, he's won Olympic medals and now he's won a gold medal."

Ivica Kostelic of Croatia won the silver while Switzerland's Silvan Zurbriggen, a favorite heading into the final round because of his prowess as a slalom skier, took the bronze. "We're witnessing a great moment," Mr. Kostelic said of Mr. Miller. "This is a skier at the end of his career. There's no pressure on him. He just recognizes what his goal is. I am really happy for him."

Michael Schmid Won Gold Medal

Latest news from Vancouver 2010: Switzerland's Michael Schmid became the first Olympic champion in ski cross with an imperious ride in Vancouver. The World Cup leader went ahead off the start and reached the finishing line without any contact for a trouble-free win in the only new event at the Games. Austria's Andreas Matt won silver, while Norway's Audun Groenvold trailed by some distance in third.

Canada's Christopher Delbosco looked set for bronze until he crashed in the closing stages trying to catch Matt. The partisan crowd at Cypress Mountain groaned when the home favourite lost his balance while coming off the second-to-last jump. The 25-year-old Schmid, however, avoided the mayhem behind him and justified his billing as pre-race favourite.

He had qualified for the final round with the quickest time and is top of the World Cup standings this season after two wins."It's amazing, I don't find words for it. We had a lot of fun out there," said Schmid, who raised both arms in the air after he crossed the finishing line. "The start was very important."

A sell-out crowd were treated to some heart-stopping crashes and pulsating races prior to the final as competitors tried to get to grips with a course full of challenging bumps, jumps and turns.
In the day's opening race, America's Daron Rahlves was involved in a spectacular crash when the 36-year-old, one of the United States' most decorated downhillers, collided with France's Ted Piccard and landed hard on his back.

He got up, skied to the finish, then writhed around in pain at the bottom - a painful end to both his day, and his career.

Vancouver 2010- Shani Davis True Perfomance

Shani Davis in begining of year 2010 once again prove his abiltiy and powerful stamina and strength. With a blazing fast last lap, American Shani Davis successfully defended his 1,000-meter speedskating gold. The win makes him the first black athlete to win an individual gold in consecutive Winter Olympics. It's the skater's second career gold and third medal overall.

Though he has encountered his fair share of controversy, Davis silenced his critics with his performance Wednesday night. With the whole world watching, Davis demonstrated just how amazing he is. Thanks to his pinpoint turns and long fluid strides, Davis turned in a time of 1:08.94, edging his rival, South Korea's Mo Tae-bum, by just 18 hundredths of a second to become the first men's skater to win back-to-back titles in the 1,000 meters. Fellow American Chad Hedrick took home the bronze.

After finishing 12th and 18th in his two previous races at this Olympics, Davis emphatically asserted himself as the world's best at 1,000 meters. He'll have his next shot at a medal on Saturday, when he skates the 1,500-meter event. Davis will be hoping to improve upon his silver-medal performance at the 2006 Turin Games.

While we won't know until the medal ceremony if Davis thanks team sponsor Stephen Colbert — something Al Michaels would consider a "miracle" — this almost certainly greenlights a sequel to "The Incredibles."

The foreign exchange market (currency, forex, or FX) is where currency trading takes place. It is where banks and other official institutions facilitate the buying and selling of foreign currencies. ^[1]FX transactions typically involve one party purchasing a quantity of one currency in exchange for paying a quantity of another. The foreign exchange market that we see today started evolving during the 1970s when worldover countries gradually switched to floating exchange rate from their erstwhile exchange rate regime, which remained fixed as per the Bretton Woods system till 1971.

Presently, the FX market is one of the largest and most liquid financial markets in the world, and includes trading between large banks, central banks, currency speculators, corporations, governments, and other institutions. The average daily volume in the global foreign exchange and related markets is continuously growing. Traditional daily turnover was reported to be over US$3.2 trillion in April 2007 by the Bank for International Settlements.^[2] Since then, the market has continued to grow. According to Euromoney's annual FX Poll, volumes grew a further 41% between 2007 and 2008.^[3]

The purpose of FX market is to facilitate trade and investment. The need for a foreign exchange market arises because of the presence of multifarious international currencies such as US Dollar, Pound Sterling, etc., and the need for trading in such currencies.

I just bought a new laptop Acer Aspire 4920 (No G at the back)..It is already installed with Window Vista Home Premium SP1..And it is just suck especially when I cant install my favourite game.. I'm not really like it.. So I'm thinking to install a Window XP..But I afraid to fully format Window Vista and replace it with Window XP if something happer later then..

So I decided to install both OS..Vista and XP..But first of course u need to have the XP driver..

It's just easy..Go to Google or Yahoo (I prefer Google).. Then type in the search box the title song followed by this word: 4shared.. For example : beautiful girl 4shared..

Internet Explorer 7 Without Validate

Now Internet Explorer (IE) had offered IE 7 without required us to validate..Before this, we need to validate the OS version that we use meaning in other word, we need to use original copy of OS to install IE7.. but now it already opened the gate and everybody regardless the user of orignal or pirate OS can use IE7..Download it HERE..
