How To Use Twitter To Generate Traffic and Make Money. Lloyd here and I want to share with you a fantastic way to generate traffic to your website, blog or business opportunity using the social media platform Twitter.
It does not matter what business you are involved with there are only two things any business needs. They need traffic and conversions. Period!
Most people that use Twitter tend to tweet meaningless nonsense, such as what they ate for lunch! That is great for people that use it purely for social reasons, however if you are planning to use Twitter to help you market your business, then you need to be using it in a more productive way.

1) Driving Traffic From Twitter To Your Blog

Don’t be shy, jump into conversations, ask questions and contribute to the discussion, or better yet start your own. People are very helpful when you are nice to them, you can learn a lot from many different people and build a useful network of people.

8) Honesty Is The Best Policy
I think that this is important for every aspect of your business and life in general. It is very easy to tell when someone is clearly talking a load of rubbish about something. Doing that only results in loosing business. Just be honest about who you are and what you are talking about. Trust is such an important part in any relationship, whether that be a romantic relationship or simply a business relationship. People are much more likely to listen to you and do business with you if they trust you.

9) Straight To The Point
I am a big fan of writing informative posts that people can read. On Twitter, this is not possible because you have a limited 140 characters to use. This means that you need to get to the point with your Tweets!
This can be a bit of an art form, but the more you Tweet, the better you will get at doing it. You need to provide maximum information with minimum characters. Keep your titles, questions, comments, etc. short and concise, while still being easy to read.

Any links that you want to include should be shortened. This is easy to achieve with the many online URL shortener websites that are available online. I myself use bitly.com to shorten all of my links. This is such a great tool that dramatically reduces the amount of space that your links take up in your tweets.

10) Twitter Backgrounds
Twitter allows you to customize your Twitter account, so you can change all of the colors and you can upload your own background image. Why is this important? Well, by customising your own account, you make yourself stand out from the rest of the crowd. You can make all of your account colors match your website colors.

When you add a page to be shared, it has to be a content page (which can contain offers, but has to provide value). So do not submit a sales page or squeeze page.
Here’s how it works if you’re interested…
Step 1: Go to the Site.
You go to the site by clicking here: Get Free Advertising. (The site will open in a new window.)
Step 2: Sign in With Twitter.
When you see this screen, click on “Sign in with Twitter”.

Step 3: Authorize The Site to Connect with your Twitter Account.

When you do this, you will automatically get 100 credits just for signing up.
Step 4: Submit your First Piece of Content that You Want Shared.

Here’s how I do it.
1. The Tweet.
I create a tweet that’s got a curiosity factor built in. You want to draw interest and attention, so be a bit clever. Be sure to include your URL to your blog post in the Tweet. (You can use Bit.ly to shorten the link if it’s very long.)
Remember. The link has to go to a content page (not a sales page).
2. How many credits would you like to offer?
Go to the main dashboard to see what others are offering. When I first started, 5 credits would get interest. Now, 25 seems to be the going rate. So, quick click on “Dashboard” to see what the average is. I also consider whether the blog post that I’m linking to has monetization built in. If it’s converting into sales when I sent it to my list, I’ll offer more credits.
3. Maximum times to promote.
Figure out how many times you would like your post shared. (10-50 depending on your credits and how much you want/need that post to have exposure). The site will tell you how many credits that will use in total. (ie. If you are offering 25 credits per share and you say you want it shared 10 times, that will be 250 credits.)
Your credits get taken as soon as you submit your tweet. I usually go low when I submit – like saying I want the post shared 1 time, in case I goofed something up. I add more credits after it’s submitted and I had a chance to test it. Plus, since you only have 100 credits, you may only be able to share a bit at first.
4. Select which Social Networks to Allow.
I select Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.
5. Minimum number of Twitter Followers to promote.
I enter 1000.
6. Category.
Choose a category that’s most related to your blog post.
7. Submit.
Click to submit your content.
How to Edit your Submissions:
Let’s say you decide to increase the number of credits that you’re offering OR you decide you want your post shared more. On the “Submit Credits” tab, just scroll down and you’ll see your submissions.
Click on the pencil to edit.

You can change the number of credits per share AND the total amount of credits you want to use.
Step 5: Earn More Credits.
As soon as possible, you’ll want to get more credits. You can either earn them or buy them – or a combination of both.
Here’s how to earn some credits.
Click the dashboard tab and scroll down.

You’ll see tons of submissions that you can share to earn credits.
Sort them by “Most Recent” or by “Most Credits” if you want to earn credits faster.
There’s a lot of JUNK in there – so it can take a scroll through to find something really worth sharing. Obviously I would never recommend that you share junk with your readers – so be picky. (Tip. Find my stuff… ) lol!

I found this submission by my friend, Loretta Oliver – and it’s a really good blog post. In that post, she’s promoting my Blog CPR course – so I obviously wanted to share that one. I clicked on the Facebook like button and Voila. Done. I earned 20 credits for promoting my OWN stuff. Sweet, eh?
Optional: Buy Credits.
If you prefer to automate this (or you want a ton of exposure) – you can purchase credits instead of (or in addition to) earning them.

Residual passive income is necessary if you desire financial and time freedom. If you currently are an employee working for someone, you must exchange your time for an income. Without a residual passive income your wealth and ability to have time freedom has a cap on it. In corporate America the freedom of choice concerning your lifestyle of doing what you want to do, when you want to do it and where you want to do it is nonexistent unless the residual passive income is there.

Most of us work at a job and as mentioned must trade our time for money. The time paradox can be broken down into to types of time. Indentured time which is the time we must spend working on our job, the time we spend eating, the time we spend sleeping and any other time that we must spend meeting our financial liabilities. Free time is the time we all seem to be wanting; however unable to obtain for various reasons.

Once we have an understanding as to the only solution to the situation concerning little time freedom, no financial freedom and how to acquire it. We can then begin to live a lifestyle most people dream about. This is both financial and time freedom. So to sum up there are only two types of time. Passive time and trading time for dollars time. The wealthy build legacies through passive income. So this is the answer. Residual passive income is essential for financial and time freedom.

My question to you is this: Are you currently stressed out over money? Are you and your spouse arguing over finances? Will you be arguing over money next week, next month and next year? The S on the bottom left is almost as bad. It stands for self-employed and again no time freedom with many negatives. So the bottom line is you do not want to be on the left side of the quadrant.

Now on the top right is a B. This is a business owner with many negatives. One of which is again time freedom. Now here is where you want to be. On the bottom right of the quadrant. This is where you placed the I. The Inventor or investor is where now you create the residual passive income. This is where your money goes to work for you without you being active with it, thus giving you time freedom while your money grows exponentially.

Network marketing is a better, leveraged way to make a living so why do we have to devalue it by being such crap sales people, throwing up on people and blasting our links to anyone and everyone whether they have a pulse or not?

Here is an unfortunate story of MLM prospecting and how to avoid them.

The other day a lady sent me a message on the wall of my Facebook profile page a very short message and in a nut shell said said “Lloyd, join me! Click here!” of which I replied in a private message back to her, is that really your pitch my friend? You might consider a different approach. She replied how she desperately needed me to join and it was not nice that I was so rude to her…then five minutes later sent me a bible verse.

This is what I am talking about. YOU do not DESPERATELY need ANYONE. In fact, this was my actual response to her:

“Here’s the thing you have to understand, you don’t desperately need anyone, you have the power to become one of the greatest networkers in the world but you have to choose to be. Stop being someone of desperation. BE someone of power and being someone that gets offended easily will prevent you from receiving coaching aimed at helping you, which, was the only way I got out of my financial and mental woes.”

NOTE: If you are the person that wrote this to me, I won’t share who you are, but I hope you see that I was only trying to help. So, how do you prevent these MLM prospecting follies?

Here are a few of Lloyd's - Rules of MLM Prospecting

1). You don’t need anyone. Never get caught up on one prospect no matter their potential. Lots of times the ones with the most potential also tend to do the least.

2). Never send an unsolicited link. Stop throwing hail mary’s into the end zone and hoping for a touchdown and instead work your prospect until they are ready to see a link. Instead start sending ONLY value to help someone become a better human being or to help them with their prospecting and growth of their business. The value you offer is in a direct result of the income you will make. If you desire a 6 figure income, then you must deliver value worth 6 figures.

3). Find out why someone would be possibly interested in your opportunity BEFORE you suggest they join. One of my favorite questions is Why? Asking why has allowed me to recruit hundreds of people into my network marketing business AND it was their idea.

4). NEVER CONVINCE. I repeat, NEVER CONVINCE. If someone is negative, I say, “Cool, not a fit for you, it is no biggie, let me ask you this, do you know anyone that has been affected by the economy that actually MIGHT want to make some extra money?”

Raising the conversation level within network marketing is important, if you desire it to reward you. We DO NOT need to go begging people to get in or thinking we are lesser human beings for being in this amazing industry. Go out and make it your best day ever!

Mobile devices will outnumber humans by the end of 2012, I realized that some of you may be wondering how this is possible. Even if every human on the planet had a mobile device-which, of course, we know they don't-it still seems pretty incredible that humans would be outnumbered. Well the whole world is going mobile. Ask anyone, when you are around them, "Where is your cell phone devise?" You are going to find out that the majority of the time it is within reach of them..

More people are using their smart phones to search the internet and do not even own a PC. This technology is exploding and the growth is expected to continue. So how is this happening? The secret has to do with multiples.

In this case, while not every person has a mobile device, there are lots of people on the planet with multiple mobile devices. Think that sounds extravagant? If you consider how many people you know with both a personal and business phone (you might even be one of them) and how normal that is, the statistic becomes a whole lot easier to get your head around.

So which countries have the most mobile phones per capita?

According to Susan Teltscher, an analyst with International Telecommunication Union, it turns out that these countries tend to be small, with lots of borders or numerous foreign workers and visitors who tend to buy local phones to use during their stay. United Arab Emerites currently holds the title of the most mobile phones per capita with 233 percent, followed closely by the tiny country of Montenegro with 210 percent.

Clearly the U.S. and China rank high on the list, right? Not even close. It turns out that there is plenty of room for growth in both cases. Statistics from the ITU show that mobile phone penetration holds steady at 91 percent in the U.S. and only 56 percent in Mainland China. Many of the stats seem to agree that the growth over the next several years will continue to explode. Currently you find business people utilizing their devices to connect the internet, play games and just plain having fun with this new technology; however many are seeing the power to communicate with customers as well.

What does this mean for mobile marketers? The potential for growth in this industry is incredible in these markets. The wise marketers will find ways to position themselves as leaders now so they fire on all cylinders as mobile phones become even more pervasive in the U.S. and China. Many businesses are becoming very savvy concerning this new media and are obtaining their own mobile app to have a competitive edge. When they are able to communicate on a personal level with a customer who has given permission by downloading the app, this is extremely powerful from a marketing standpoint.

Coaching and Why We Need It? - Are Coaches or Mentors Really Necessary?

What is life coaching and do we really need it? How to obtain goals with a coach and to overcome the roadblocks in life. Have you ever plotted out and was determined to achieve a certain goal and then; nothing changed? If your answer was yes, you do not stand alone. Statistically speaking there close to 90% who share the same results. The other 10% have a coach, a mentor or someone who provokes and shares an endless amount of encouragement.

The reason we do not follow through is an internal thermostat. We seem to accept the status quo and as a result stay on the same path. That thermostat maintains the same until we change it through persistence and determination. By working with a coach or mentor we have a much large chance of changing the settings on that thermostat.

Mentoring and coaching can be a life changing experience. The term coach comes from an old English word 'coche' which means a wagon or a carriage. And as you interpret means of transporting a person from point A to point B or to their destination. We can also interpret coaching as helping a student have a clearer understanding of a situation or subject. A better understanding of their purpose in life, to the setting of goals, their meaning in life, to understanding what is keeping them from accomplishing their goals and the ability to live a well balanced life are all part of the coaching or mentoring process.

Typically we will view coaching as training intensively through instruction or demonstration. And through acquiring this knowledge are able to improve our behavior. The coach observes what is happening and then redirects the person's actions for the accomplishment of a goal.

A coach can cause the student to hold themselves accountable as they pursue a goal or commence a new venture and help them to stay focused and follow through. This is done through experiential learning where each individual finds his or her way of doing their very best. Coaching another person is a great honor and is mostly a matter of creating the learning environment within which the student can develop.

Coaching is conversational and can also be controversial because the coach’s role is to provoke critical thinking and reflection which in turn causes significant shifts in perception, shifts that ultimately lead to profound personal change. Many times our existing interpretations have generated a meaning about the world that is restrictive and acts like a prison, limiting both possibilities and potential. Personal coaches are not for the meek. They are for people who value clear feedback. If successful coaches have one thing in common, it is that they are ruthlessly results oriented on behalf of their student.

Finally a coaching session is not a forum for the coach to display their superior knowledge but one built on trust and designed to enable and empower the student to resolve specific issues and develop the confidence to move forward, and perceive better ways of participating in life.

I like this quote from Andy Stanley: “You will never maximize your potential in any area of life without coaching. It is impossible. You may be good. You may even be better than everyone else. But without outside input you will never be as good as you can be. We simply do it better when someone else is watching and evaluating.”
