Hinges: These need to be classified as ‘hardware’, more than accessories. They should be sturdy and smooth to amp up security and ease of use. Some common types of hinges include butt, barrel, pivot, concealed, butterfly and piano hinges. Of these, butt hinges are the strongest and are recommended for main doors. Piano hinges are usually used for furniture like cabinets. Butterfly, flush and concealed hinges are more suited to lightweight doors, and therefore, will not provide your entrance door with security.
Hinges must also be chosen according to main door designs. For instance, if you have a traditional, carved main door, then brass butt hinges will go very well with it. If your front door design is contemporary, with wood and glass, choose steel hinges for a better look. These hinges can also be painted the same color as the door frame to make them decrease their prominence.

Door knobs and handles: You can have fun choosing these accessories’/hardware to go with your front door design. This room should be designed carefully because when you do meditation, you should gain the positive energies and then you can feel charged. If it is in wrong direction, then no matter how much meditation you do, you will not feel charged. There are certain rules which one must follow before the commencement of designing a pooja room.

The pooja room should always be situated in the North, East or the Northeast side of the house.
One should face towards East/North while worshipping.
Ideally there should be no idols in the worship room. But if one wish to keep, the height of the idol should not be more than 9"and less than 2".
While worshipping, the legs of the idol should be at the chest level of the person worshipping depending on the position, whether standing or sitting.
Nothing should be stored above the cabinet or slab here the God's idol is placed.
A Pooja room should never be made in a bedroom or on a wall adjacent to the bathroom wall.
One shall not enter the pooja room for any purpose without washing his legs and hands. Cleaning the feet by rubbing them against each other is prohibited. The left hand must clean them and the water must be poured by the right hand. Reared side of the feet must always be cleaned first.
In pooja room, copper vessels only shall be used particularly where water is collected.
Triangular pattern of any God should not be drawn in the Pujaghar.
The colour of walls of pooja room should be white, lemon or light blue and the marble used should be white.
The worship room should have doors and windows in the north or the east
The Agnikund should be in the southeast direction of the worship room. The sacred offerings to the fire should be made with the face towards the east
Lamp stand should be placed in the Southeast corner of the pooja room.

Golden Temple of India

The Golden temple is situated at Amritsar, in the state of Punjab, India. The Golden temple is also known as “Sri Harmandir Sahib” or “Sri Darbar Sahib”. It is most sacred temple for Sikhs in all over India. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people.

The Golden Temple is stands on 67 ft. square platform in the center of Sarovar (Tank). Actually the temple covers only 41 ft. square. From all over the world, The Sikhs came to Amritsar to pay obeisance at Shri Harmandir sahib in their prayer. Guru Arjan Sahib got its Foundation laid by a Muslim saint Hazrat ali Mian Mir of Lahore. The Main personality of the construction was Guru Arjan Sahib and he was assisted by the prominent Sikh personalities like Bhai Sahlo ji, Baba Budha ji, Bhai Gurudas Ji, and so many other devoted Sikhs.

The Golden Temple has four side open gate. Guru Sahib made it accessible to every person without any distinction of Caste, creed, sex, and religion. There are some important places around the Golden Temple.Visitors can also visit these places.

Akal Takhat : It rightly faces the Golden Temple. It was built by the Sixth Guru Hargobind in 1609 AD. It was the court of Sikhs community & used for holding court and sikh congregation in the days of it’s builder. We can see the weapon used by the Guru Gobind singh, Guru Hargobind, & other other brave sikh are preserved at here.

Baba Atal : A nine- stroreyed tower was built in memory of Atal Rai who was the son of Guru Hargobind but called “Baba Atal”. The tower was built in between 1778 AD and 1784 AD. It is only one Tower of its kind in the Amritsar with 108 ft. height.

Guru ka Langar : It is the kitchen of Golden Temple. Temple funds are used for meals of visitors. Everyday near about 42000 people share the Meals.

Shri Guru Ram Das Niwas : Unlike the ordinary “Dharamsala”, here also a hostel for visitors named Shri Gurudas Niwas”. There are near about 228 rooms & 18 big halls. The Gurdwara committee built it. All the maintenance of this niwas is handled by Gurdwara Committee. The committee also supplied beddings, Cots, fans, lights, bathroom etc. facility to visitors of Golden Temple. Visitors are not allowed to stay here more than three days. The doors of the hostel are open to all people.

Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur

The Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. It is situated in Jodhpur city, just 5 km from town. Visitors can be reached from the city through a circular road. The red sandstone fort domination the city has the appearance of an elegant peacock and so it is also known as Mordhwaj Garh. The fort was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha who was the fifteenth Rathore ruler. He wanted to shift his capital from Mandore that’s why he built this fort.

The Museum
The museum in the Mehrangarh fort is one of the finest in Rajasthan and certainly the best laid out. In this museum visitors can see the interesting collection of old royal palanquins, weapons, musical instruments, wood antique furniture, paintings, costumes etc. The employees in the palace, dressed in traditional Jodhpuri dress with shield, hookah to welcome the tourists and offer full information related to the various rooms in the palaces, adding some folklore, legends and royal stories in their own style. LG previews 55-inch OLED 3D HDTV

This is the new revolution of television. Worlds thinnest TV is now going to launching in 2012. LG continues its pre-CES 2012 OLED HDTV tease, revealing images and more details of the 55-inch uber-panel set to go on show next week. Having confirmed the cheaper panel late last month, LG is now talking specifics with its 4-Color Pixels and Color Refiner technology: throwing in an extra, white pixel to the usual red, green and blue trio, for more accurate colors, along with improvements in hues and tones through the use of “an LG algorithm.”

That – along with OLED’s inherent display advantages – means LG can promise an infinite contrast ratio for the new 55-incher, with pictures LG says are simply impossible with existing LCD and LED panels. It’s faster, too: 1,000x faster, in fact, than LED and LCD, for smear-free movies and sports.

As the new press shots show, all that display technology will be wrapped in a super-slick design, with a 4mm thick bezel. The whole set will weigh a mere 7.5kg, making it ideal for wall-mounting. There’s 3D support, too.

What LG still isn’t confirming is price, and though this new display uses a cheaper production process based on Oxide TFT technology, we’re still expecting it to carry a premium tag. That – along with release dates – will presumably be shared at CES next month; we’ll be there to bask in LG’s glow.
