"I'm tired" มีความหมายว่า เหนื่อย และยังมีอีกหลายๆประโยค หลากหลายสำนวน ที่ใช้แทนกันได้ จะไ้ด้ไม่ต้องใช้ "I'm tired" กันบ่อยๆ ดูประโยคภาษาอังกฤษด้านล่าง

สำนวนภาษาอังกฤษคำว่า Rainy day ไม่ใช่แปลว่า วันที่มีฝนตก Rainy day จะคล้ายกับว่า วันฝนตก แล้วออกไปหากินไม่ได้ เป็นสำนวนที่อเมริกันชนเขาใช้่ หมายความว่า เวลาที่เดือดร้อน เวลาที่ไม่มีจะกิน เวลาที่หาเงินไม่ได้ เวลาที่เงินขาดมือหมุนไม่ทัน เป็นคำที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ซึ่งใช้กันบ่อยมากๆ เลยทีเดียว ดูตัวอย่างสำนวนภาษาอังกฤษคำนี้กัน

สำนวน A tower of strength หมายถึง a person who supports and helps you through a difficult time หรือหมายความว่า เสาหลัก ( บุคคลที่คอยโอบอุ้มช่วยเหลือเราในยามลำบาก ) ตัวอย่างประโยคภาษาอังกฤษของสำนวนนี้

สำนวน To Cheat On คืออะไร เริ่มจากคำว่า Cheat แปลว่า โกง เบี้ยว หรือ ไม่ทำตามสัญญา แต่หากนำมารวมกับ คำบุพบท on แล้ว จะทำให้ความหมายเปลี่ยนไป ดังนั้น cheat on จึงมีความหมายว่า นอกใจ มาดูตัวอย่างการใช้สำนวนภาษาอังกฤษคำนี้กัน

สำนวนภาษาอังกฤษคำว่า all but complete มีความหมายว่า ใกล้เสร็จ หรือ ใกล้จะสมบูรณ์แล้ว แต่ยังไม่เสร็จหรือยังไม่สมบูรณ์ คำที่มีความหมายใกล้เคียงกันก็มี คำว่า all but finished และ all but ready มาลองดูตัวอย่างสำนวนภาษาอังกฤษเหล่านี้กัน
