Optimizing laptop battery usage is very important to increase the battery life and performance.

Following are the Top tips to optimize the laptop battery :

Buy smart: Look for notebooks with low power consuming processors like the Intel’s “CULV” “Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage” processors or AMD processors with “cool & Quiet” feature.
Dim screen brightness: Choose an environment with adequate lighting—less brightness means you’ll drain less power from your battery.Use the Function key (Fn) available in most of the laptops to dim the brightness.
Run your applications wisely: To get the most from your laptop, even when multitasking on the go, run resource intensive applications just when actively using them. Then make sure to close the applications you aren’t using.Running Video on the laptop will consume the battery very fast.Avoid to run video almost all time.
Close unused applications: Programs will still use power while sitting idle.Also some unrequired background processes can be closed using the task manager.Stop such processes from starting at boot.
Have the right RAM for your needs: With appropriate RAM, instructions run off memory instead of disk. Less power is needed to refresh the RAM than to spin the hard drive.So increasing the RAM in in the laptop with high resource usage works will highly improve the battery life.
Clean your battery: Rub the battery’s metal contacts with rubbing alcohol every two months. Allow to dry before re-inserting.
Remove extra accessories: Unplug items like PC cards, USB and FireWire devices that are not being used.
Use built-in power management devices: Enable this feature and set your system to “Battery Optimized” mode or “Max Battery” mode. Put your computer to sleep earlier and turn off the screen backlight sooner.Start > Control Panel > Power Options (in Classic View).
Disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth if not being used: Wireless LAN and Bluetooth access uses power even when it is not in use. Transmitting and receiving data drains the battery.
Defragment your hard drive regularly: The built-in defrag utility included with Windows will take your file fragments and put them closer together on your hard drive, which will decrease hard drive access times and save battery life.
Use Direct Power as much as possible : Keep your laptop connected to the direct power supply using the laptop power adapter as much as possible.
Connect laptop to UPS supply : If possible then connect your laptop to UPS supply.This will save your laptop from power fluctuations and if there are frequent power cuts then your laptop battery life-cycle will not be wasted.
Use battery only when on move : Try to power laptop through battery only when you are on move or if there is no power supply.

Hello friend from a longer period of time I am trying to raise my blog rank on Google so it will get listed on its first search page and I came across thewindowclub website where I found my answer so friend this time I am just sharing my new post with you due to the help of this website. So here the post begin :

To get a top rank on Google search page is not an easy task to do but following these steps you can definitely get a better chance. So friends follow these steps on Search Engine Optimization :-

1. CONTENT is King: Whatever you do, no matter how much search engine optimization you do, its worthless if you don’t have good content. Providing your user with unique and fresh content will help you to be in the race.

2. The Power of Keywords: Most of the SEO experts will advice you to use the most searched term as your keyword, but I would rather say use a keyword similar to the most searched one. Say if you choose a particular keyword on which competition is very high than there are chances that for that particular keyword you may not end up on Google’s 1st page. So do a deep keyword research on what keyword you should select that best defines your blog and is the most common search term that a user may type in. It may sound difficult, but once you inculcate this as a habit, you will find that it comes easily!

3. Get your blog indexed: Don’t wait for Google, Bing or Yahoo to crawl your website on their own, Submit your blog url to Google, Baidu and Bing. This will help you to get indexed faster. Try to write at-least 1 post a day to get your post get indexed frequently.

4. Analyze your blog for search term: This is a very important step, keep monitoring your search query traffic. You can use Google Webmaster, Bing Webmaster and Yahoo webmaster for analyzing.

5. Submit Sitemap: Don’t forgot to submit your sitemap to Google, Yahoo!, Bing and also to Baidu.

6. Build quality backlinks: Try to build as much back links as you can, by link exchange, guest posting, forum signature links, etc. Organic backlinks from search engines takes time to generate, so keep trying these techniques to get faster results.

7. Modify your permalink structure: Having numbers and queries like id=?123#4 in your url is bad for SEO. Modify your permalink structure to make it relevant to your content. Best structure is one which contains your blog name followed by the post title, like the one TWC has. They are called absolute urls.

8. Use rel=nofollow: to all your affiliates link, this will help you to ‘conserve’ PR with you or what is referred to as preventing passing of Link Juice.

9. Use Google Analytics: Google Analytics is the best way to see where your traffic is coming from, with what keyword, from where. You can get most of the valuable information of your blog from Google Analytics.

10. Use most targeted keywords as Anchor text: Interlinking within your blog surely helps, but it helps more when you link your blog by using hyperlinks which are the most targeted keywords.

11. Interlinking your blog: The best advantage of interlinking your blog is that search engine crawler and your reader’s will spend a longer time at your blog navigating to those interlinked content.

12. Improve Page load time: Google has announced this year that page load time is also one of the factor which will determine your Search Rankings. So try to use fewer scripts and if possible load them at the end of the page. Also try to optimize your images. Use gif or bmp images in place of jpeg’s.

13. Rethink before doing link exchange: Though link exchange will give you good number of back-links, never make a link exchange with a gambling sites or blogs who are blacklisted from Google or sites which have adult content, linking with them will harm your SEO. Stick to your niche; for example if yours is a technology blog, exchange links with tech blogs.

14. Frames: If possible keep frames away from your blog. Frames & SEO don’t mix!

15. Theme Selection: Choose a well SEO optimized blog theme, with no errors. Themes from Woo, ThemeForest, etc are well optimized themes; not only for SEO but also for traffic and your readers point of view too.

16. Duplicate Content: Google has very strict policy for duplicate content, you don’t want to loose your all hard work because of it, so make sure you are not posting duplicate content again.

17. Broken Links: They are not good for SEO. So before publishing your post check it once again. Use the Broken Link checker plugin for WordPress

18. Have Keywords in URL or have short url: Keeping keyword in url is the best that you can do for SEO. But if in case you are not able to do that try to have a short url. Check out URL of this post, it contains 3 most targeted keywords. Always try to keep a keyword in your post title.

Recently I bought my new netbook and sooner I realized that how annoying its get while typing down on the keyboard and mouse curser started to move all over the screen due to accidently touching my touchpad and it gets more annoying when I accidently delete my whole text due to this problem. 10 ways to increase torrent speed.

P2P file sharing is one of the widely used application now days. The Torrent search engine is the utility which is excessively used in this context. As the young generation says "impatience is the new world", means the generation can't afford anything too slow, same is the case with torrent download. But there are some tips which can really help to improve your download speed. Let's have a quick glance at these tips.

1. Choose your ISP wisely :- The basic rule is that the maximum Torrent download speed that you can get can’t cross the upper limit of the bandwidth provided by your ISP. Usually ISP’s specify the upload and download maximum for the connections. So it is always better to have an ISP who provides better Download and Upload limits for an affordable price.

2. Choose the right BitTorrent client :- Always choose the latest versions among the available BitTorrent clients, muTorrent, Vuze etc are some of these latest versions available now. The latest versions are equipped with provisions for obtaining the highest download speed and an overall smooth downloading experience.

3. Check the seeds and peers :- A peer is a computer which participates in the P2P sharing either for downloading or uploading. A seed is a computer who has got a complete copy of the file and is sharing that file in the network. A leech is a computer who doesn’t have a complete copy of the file, and is downloading the file at the moment. A leech becomes a seed when it completes the download and shares it over the network. It is always advisable to choose the files with more number of seeds and less no of leeches. That means the file with the highest seed to leech ratio.

4. Altering the firewall configuration :- By default the firewalls block all the BitTorrent connections coming through. This can adversely affect the downloading speed. So you must make sure that your firewall is configured in such a way that it allows the BitTorrent connections through  it. This can be done by checking the box ‘Add Windows Firewall Exception” in the firewall settings following the path options/preferences/connection. For ease some users may disable the firewall, but it is strongly advised that you shouldn’t disable your firewall that it will open your computer to serious threats.

5. Limiting your upload rate :- A peer to peer sharing is all about simultaneous upload and download. So every BitTorrent clients must upload some data at the same they are downloading some other data through torrent. For obtaining a high download speed you should vary your upload speed accordingly. Usually the upload maximum by the ISP is very much less than the download maximum. It is only 50Kbps for a 2Mbps connection. For fast downloading you can set your uploading speed to 80% of your maximum uploading speed. You must vary the speed as the download progresses for an efficient downloading. Keep the uploading limit maximum in the beginning and then slightly decrease it as the download progresses. In mTorrent the upload limit can be set from the option Global Upload Rate.

6. Selecting a different port :- The default port for the BitTorrent file sharing is one between 6881 and 6999. As BitTorrent sharing involves high bandwidth  usage the ISP’s usually throttle traffic on these ports. So you can increase the downloading speed by selecting some port above 10000. Usually muTorrent randomly assign the port as the application starts. So set a specific port with a number above  10000, by disabling the Randomize port checkbox.

7. Increasing the number of Maximum Half Open TCP Connections :- Usually the maximum no of half open TCP connections in Windows XP with SP2 is set as 10 for blocking the virus multiplication. But torrent needs more. To facilitate this a patch TCPIP.sys is available. Through this patch you can set the  maximum no of open TCP connections. Set it to any number between 50 and 100.

8. Protocol encryption :- Some ISP’s constrict the bandwidth for P2P sharing. Protocol encryption can be used to override this restriction. Check the Allow incoming legacy connections box and make the outgoing Encryption as Disabled for getting maximum speed on Torrent downloads. Between non-encryption is not advisable as it may lead to some encrypted client to be left as undiscovered.

9. Connections and bandwidth :- The BitTorrent client you are using will allow you to enter values for Global maximum no of connections: It is the maximum no of connections BitTorrent client can make for any P2P sharing. Setting  this no to a very high value will take up useless bandwidth, and to a very low value will miss out some peers. For a 256kbps connection you can set this number to 130. Maximum no of connected peers per torrent: Set this no to one which is closer to the no of available peers for the file. No of upload slots per torrent: It gives the maximum no of peers to which the BitTorrent client uploads at a time. Since a low settings may affect the download set it to a moderate low value.

Hi folks long time no post by me. I was just buzy in my random stuff ( u know sleeping, eating & killing my time ) but now I am back again 2 bring some more cool tricks for you all ;) . So here we go again :-

1. Go to this link.

2. Install this chrome extensions.

3. After installing this extension you will get an icon at the bottom right of your chrome browser.

4. Now just go to your facebook & just put your mouse pointer on any pic & then enjoy the magic.

Note: I tried this extension only in Google Chrome+ but if you find any of this extension use in any of other browser & also in any websites you may comment on my blog.

How to make your computer talk ?

"Hey Yoooo" What happen if your own computer say to you like this. Amazed! huh.

Recently I come across to this when I found with one simple program writing I can make my PC talk. So friend long talks short I will directly tell you how to make your own computer talk :-

1. Open your notepad.

2. Write down this code

Dim msg, sapi

msg=InputBox("Enter your text","Talk it")
Set sapi=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")

sapi.Speak msg

3. Save the file as sound.vbs

4. Open the sound.vbs file & one pop up window will occur

5. Write down something in the text box ("Hey Yoooo") & click OK & then listen the written text on it.

This trick work in all the version of window.
