One of the main reasons the "dollies" and I love the holiday season is we can decorate. And, DECORATE we do. Our house is filled to the brim with Christmas decorations.

Most of the decorations that I display during the holiday season are my own designs. I'd LOVE to put some of the Christmas decorations that I made based on other designers patterns out, but I only have so much room.

So, the "dollies" and I thought a Christmas doll show would be a GREAT way to show you all the handmade dolls and woodcraft's I have made. They'd make GREAT decorations in your home, too!

Angelic Maggie For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

Angels not only come in all shapes and sizes, but all ages. It's time for a beautiful "senior citizen" angel to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time. Here's "Angelic Maggie."

Angelic Maggie is a 24" self-sitting cloth bodied angel doll with a black bead eyes, an embroidered and blushed face, and wispy white hair bundled at the top of her head. She has embroidered angel wings, a ribbon shawl, and an embroidered apron decorated with an embroidered heart, ribbons, and silk floral. Her dress is hemmed and accented with a lace overskirt. She has a matching pair of bloomers.

Angelic Maggie is no ordinary angel. She's a very special angel sent to watch over a very special group of individuals who are near and dear to her heart. Her task is to keep all the aging "baby boomer's" safe. She knows that it's a HUGE task as there are just so many of them out there, but she's up to it.

Angelic Maggie's charge is near and dear to her as she loves the "baby boomer" period and always wanted to be a flower child of the 1960's and 1970's. Alas, that was not meant to be so Angelic Maggie keeps a watchful eye on her "aging" population. A HUGE task for sure that Angelic Maggie can handle.

Susanna For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

It's time for a beautiful Victorian angel to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time. Here's Susanna."

"Susanna" is a young, but very special angel with some very beautiful qualities and a very special charge. She is a kind and loving angel who has a very special heart. One who manifests nothing but goodness in everyone and everything.

Her charge is to spread compassion, love, understanding, peace, contentment, and grace to everyone she meets. It's a tall order for such a young angel, but Susanna feels she is up to it.

"Susanna" is a 12" Victorian faceless cloth angel doll. She has a muslin body and her boots are black and cross laced. Her blond hair is fashioned into bangs in the front and long pigtails tied in the front with ribbon. Wrapped around the top of her head is a floral garland.

She is wearing lace trimmed pinafore bloomers that are gathered at the waist and a lace trimmed pinafore slip that is also gathered at the waist.

Her beautiful white dress has a lace trimmed center bodice with lace trimmed front to back straps, lined and lace trimmed over sleeves, and lace trimmed sleeves. Her dress is three tiered with lace trimming on each tier and gathered along the waistline. It is gathered at the neck edge and then adorned with a pearl and lace ribbon trim.

Her wings are wired satin ribbons and fashioned in a bow in the back. She is carrying a small pink floral bouquet.

Susanna is anxious to fulfill her mission. Spreading compassion, love, understanding, peace, contentment, and grace to everyone she meets is a tall order but Susanna feels she can do it with your help. Will you help her?

Angelic Marion For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

It's time for a very unusual angel to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time. Here's "Angelic Marion."

"Angelic Marion" might look like the sweetest angel you'd ever want to see, but she is anything but "angelic!"

She's as tomboyish as they come and loves to rough house it with the best of the boy angels. Of course, angels aren't supposed to rough house - at least that's what they've been told.

However, "Angelic Marion" doesn't think a little rough housing will hurt anyone. It's all on good fun. That is - good "angelic" fun!

"Angelic Marion" is a 12" primitive angel doll who is coffee stained throughout. She has a muslin body and embroidered face with black cross stitched eyes, embroidered nose with orange water color shadowing, and an outline embroidered mouth with orange water colored inside. Her eyebrows are embroidered and she has bright orange water colored and blushed cheeks. Her boots are made of lace trim.

Marion has a mass of cream mohair yarn hair glued all over her head. A gold halo hangs over her head.

She is wearing fringed bloomers that are gathered at the waist and legs. Her angel dress has a lace and ribbon trimmed center panel, lace trimmed sleeves and is gathered at the neck. There is lace trimming along the bottom hem of her dress and lace trimming around her neck. A lace ribbon is wrapped around her waist for a waistband.

Her angel wings are lined and lace trimmed along the edges and has a large lace ribbon bow on the back for decoration.

Despite her desire to rough house "Angelic Marion" is very conscious of her "angel" duties and does not take them lightly. She wants to prove that she can be "angelic" even is she is a bit of a tomboy!"

Angels, too, come in all shapes and sizes - even pixie. It's time for some adorable pixie angels to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time. Here's Sophisticated Gwen, Happy Molly Angel, and "Who Me? Angel Angela."

"Sophisticated Gwen", "Happy Molly Angel", and "Who Me? Angel Angela" are a very unusual group of angels. Very unusual indeed.

You see, they aren't at all alike. In fact, they are as different as, well - angels can be.

"Sophisticated Gwen" is the epitome of sophistication and style. She is very much in "vogue" and aware of the latest trends in fashion. Her special charge is to protect all the "high fashion models" out there. It's a big task as, let's just say, the "high fashion models" don't always behave themselves.

"Happy Molly Angel" could care less about fashion. In fact, style and fashion mean nothing to her. She'd much rather spend her day crafting up a storm and doesn't care if she breaks a nail or gets her hands messy. In fact, it doesn't even matter to her if her clothes get messy. Sometimes the messier the better. Her special charge is all the crafters out there. It's a tall order as there are millions and millions of them.

"Who Me? Angel Angela" isn't quite sure why she's here or what her special mission is. When asked to do something she inevitably answers "Who Me?" She's a shy as a mouse and doesn't have a lot of confidence. She's not sure that she's really good at anything in particular and isn't too sure that she'll be able to fulfill her mission. Her charge is all the shy people out there.

"Sophisticated Gwen" is a 5" wood doll pin angel. She has a painted gold painted wood body and flesh painted wood face. Her face is drawn and water colored shaded.

"Pose Me A Sled, Santa!" is a 10” self-sitting cloth Santa with a painted face, pompom nose, wire glasses, full yarn beard and Santa cap with pompom. He's wearing fringed pants that are gathered at the waist and legs and tied with DMC floss bows. His fringed flannel shirt is gathered at the neck and wrists and also tied with DMC floss bows. His shoes are printed cloth and he has a fringed flannel scarf around his neck. He is riding his favorite sled.

"Pose Me A Sled, Santa!" is into sleds and sledding while "Pose Me Some Gifts, Santa!" loves his gifts, train, and drums. "Pose Me With My Tree, Santa!" is into home decorating and "Pose Me On Ski's, Santa!" is into winter sports - especially skiing.

"Isabella Angel" and Angels To Watch Over Us For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

There's just something beautiful about angels. Especially a row of angels. All glowing and shimmering. Just standing there - looking radiant. Waiting around to help whoever they can. I sure hope they're all watching over me.

What would we do without angels to watch over us? It's time for some wonderful angels to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

We have an array of angels beginning with Isabella Believe Angel.

"Isabella Believe" is an 8” self-standing angel with a painted wood body, painted wood head with drawn face, straight blond hair, slip, fancy lace trimmed dress, silk floral decoration, ribbon bow, Sinamay hat, and ribbon wings.

"Isabella Believe" has a big job to do. Her task is to make sure that everyone believes in angels. It won't be easy, but Isabella Believe "believes" she can do it. I think she can, too.

To "believe" you need to be confident about something, and accept it as true. All you need to do is close your eyes and repeat after me, "I Believe In Angels."

It won't be easy for her as some people just do not believe in angels or in heaven. She's going to try her best. After all she's ageless and there is no time frame in which this has to be completed. She has forever.

"Isabella Grace" does not have any easy task. Her task is to instill "grace" in everyone. After all "grace" is benevolence and love. Who wouldn't want to have that instilled in them.

What would the holidays be without angels? It's time for a teenie tiny angel to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

“Lucy Angel”, 4” Angel - Angel Doll - Christmas Series

"Lucy Angel" is an adorable little angel. She is a free-standing angel doll with a wood doll pin body and head. Her wood head is painted and she has short curly hair and a halo. Her dress is made from wide wired ribbon and is decorated with a ribbon sash, and floral ribbon decoration.

Lucy is not only the most adorable of our angels, she is also one of the smallest. She only stands 4" tall, but she is a mighty angel.

In fact, Lucy is the "boss" of all the angels. She assigns the tasks to the various other angels and keeps an eye out for them. Despite her small size Lucy has a HUGE heart.

"Won't You Please Save The Birds, Sally" is just like her twin sister, "Please Save The Birds, Snow-lady." She is very concerned about the birds being fed over the long, snowy winter and wonders if you would be willing to help her.

"Won't You Please Save The Birds, Sally " is a 14” self-standing cloth snow-lady with a painted face. Her curly blond wool hair is barely controlled underneath her fringed wool scarf that is tied around her head and neck. She is wearing a wool dress that is gathered at the neck and wrists. Her wool dress is embroidered with snowmen, evergreen trees, a star, and a candy cane. She is carry a birds nest with bird eggs.

“Roly-Poly Santa”, 8” Santa - Santa Doll - Christmas Series

Roly-Poly Santa is a chubby self-sitting Santa doll who never lets anything get him down. Running out of time - no problem. A few extra pounds - no problem. Elves on strike - no problem. No "munchies" - now that's a problem.

He has a muslin cloth body, big belly and is bald on the top of his head. He sports a beard, moustache, and hair of soft twirl. He is wearing wire rimmed glasses and is holding a Christmas present.

"Caroling Gertie" just loves to carol.

She loves to sing and she loves to be out amongst her best friends. Traveling from house to house singing all, their favorite carols.

And, best of all, receiving hot cocoa. She just loves the hot cocoa. Especially when it's freezing cold outside and her cheeks are bright red.

She loves caroling so much even the cold can't keep her from singing.

"Caroling Gertie!" is an 8" primitive cloth caroling ornament. She has a muslin body and embroidered face with black zig-zag stitched nose, red satin stitched mouth and rosy red cheeks. Her eyebrows are embroidered as are her eyelashes . Her boots are black and cross-laced.

Gertie has a mass of thick bubbles doll hair that is gathered into pigtails and tied in the front.

She is wearing fringed bloomers that are gathered at the waist and legs. Her flannel dress is fringed and gathered at the neck and wrist.

It's so joyous and so festive and Jim and his family are good singers. Truth be told - they practice several times over the course of the year. They enjoy singing together and enjoy caroling from house to house. And, truth be told - they're really good at it.

Jim, and his daughter, Katie, and her brother, John get so into caroling that they lose track of time. Their mother, Penny, on the other hand never loses track of time. She loves the holiday season and loves to carol, too. But, it's such a busy time of the year for her that when it comes time to carol she has 100 other things on her mind.

So, sometimes, she appears to be a little angry. But, that's not really what she is. She's harried. She loves to carol, but she's harried. And, she loves spending time with Jim and the kids. They can really get into it and sing their hearts out. It's just that with so many things to do.....

His face is water colored and he has water colored brown eyes, and rosy cheeks with white highlight dots. His mouth is open and water colored red. His eyebrows are water colored brown.

Caroling Time, Jim For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! HO! Series"

It's time for some carolers to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time. Here's "Caroling Time, Jim."

"Caroling Time, Jim" and his family look forward to the caroling season every year. In fact, it is their favorite time of the year.

It's so joyous and so festive and Jim and his family are good singers. Truth be told - they practice several times over the course of the year. They enjoy singing together and enjoy caroling from house to house. And, truth be told - they're really good at it.

Jim, and Katie, and John get so into caroling that they lose track of time. Penny, on the other hand never loses track of time. She loves the holiday season and loves to carol, too. But, it's such a busy time of the year for her that when it comes time to carol she has 100 other things on her mind.

So, sometimes, she appears to be a little angry. But, that's not really what she is. She's harried. She loves to carol, but she's harried. And, she loves spending time with Jim and the kids. They can really get into it and sing their hearts out. It's just that with so many things to do.....

"Caroling Time, Jim" is a 13" squared bottomed self-standing Victorian caroler cloth doll. He has a 1/2 muslin body and 1/2 denim body. His face is embroidered and he has water colored blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and a shaded nose. His eyebrows are embroidered as are his eyelashes. His mouth is open and embroidered and water colored red. He is sporting an auburn mustache and gold embroidered glasses..

Jim has a mass of thick curly bubble doll hair all over his head that is barely controlled under his lined hat.

He is wearing his favorite brown denim outfit with coordinating shirt, lining, bowtie, and hat. His short is brown check and gathered at the neck and matches the bowtie under his chin. The lining of his jacket matches his shirt and bowtie. His jacket is lined, double breasted with 4 buttons, has two flap pockets in the front, a collar, and topstitching along all the edges.

He is carrying his favorite caroling book.

"Caroling Time, Jim" really enjoys spending this time with his family. It is their special time of the year and he really looks forward to it.

However, he wishes it weren't as hectic a time of the year for his wife, Penny, as he wishes she could enjoy caroling with them. He knows she does - it's just that she has 100 other things on her mind.

So, Jim makes sure that he pays extra special attention to Penny and the kids so they all have a great time caroling. If Penny is having such a good time - maybe she won't be thinking of all the other things she needs to do. Maybe, but unlikely.

In any event, "Caroling Time, Jim" will try his best. "Here we go a caroling..............."
