of snowboard season

I will be in Hokkaido for the summer

and I am really enjoying this place.

Is about 5 minutes walk to Niseko Grand Hirafu

I spending a lot time in the Lodge backyard

The Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan's largest winter events, attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every year. Every winter, about two million people come to Sapporo to see a large number of splendid snow and ice sculptures lining Odori Park, the grounds at Community Dome Tsudome, and along the main street in Susukino. For seven days in February, Sapporo is turned into a winter dreamland of crystal-like ice and white snow.

Kameido Tenjin Shrine

This was the largest of several bridges on the path to the principal structure of the Kameido Tenjin Shrine; the bridges linked islands in a like in front of the shrine. Built in 1662, the Kameido Tenjin Shrine was destroyed in the Allied firebombings of Tokyo in March, 1945.
