i've been so bad lately, spending awful lot of time looking at bicycles. they are so beautiful. you see, I had to sold mine off when I move from my previous location to where i am at the moment. So now, I'm looking for a replacement.

after googling, I came across single speed bike. my initial encounter of them was on made.com. most distinguishably are the neo models. Bizarrely, they are not on sale or in stock on their website anymore. single speed bike or some called it fixed gear bike. pretty much self explanatory, they are single speed, no gear ratio to change, baring the minimalistic form of how things should be. with fixed gear bicycle, it's ok if you live on flat land, but if you are cycling on a hilly terrain, boy, I think it requires lots of hard work for someone like me. to me, using it as an urban bike is a fairly decent proposal.

I am embarking on a 2 hour train journey. I have my macbook, pencil and paper with me. In my mind, I am thinking of creating text content for my blog (rather than the usual visual work I post up). The intention is more for killing time really. No, maybe I wanted to write after all. I dunno.

You see, everyone of us are making choices all the time. Choices comes in different flavours. Some choices are sweet (when the outcome turns out to be as planned), some are bitter (obviously it fails to meet our expectation), sour, or a combination of sweet and sour, salt and pepper and so on.

But if we look at it as a whole, something like a a field trip map, the many paths (choices) 'could' connect to the same destination and goal. Yes, when the outcome disappoint us, it's common for us to term it as a bad decision being made in the past. However, when we use a different perspective to look at the F word-- 'failure', there might be a hidden lesson or agenda that life would like us to learn from it. Maybe it's not time to attain the goal yet, maybe there are other lessons we ought to learn before reaching the goal, maybe there are better paths to reach the goal or simply…we are not good enough yet.

What I'm trying to convey is that realising a 'failure' and to do something about it is more beneficial than crying over it. Tsu always says, 'just deal with it, no point to mourn!'. I remembered that Seon mentioned once to me 'accept 'failure' and be open to other opportunities as there is no one way path to success.'Only when you be opened then you will recognise opportunities that lies around you and make full use of it.'

I respect people that creates and inspires. People that take the leap of faith and to realising their dreams. People that carry out actions when they feel theres something going wrong with their life.

I come across this quote on the internet today that I would like to share with you out there.
'Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.'

P/S: I would like to hear your personal stories on what you labeled 'failure' but looking back now, you realise it's a blessing in disguise. Share.

The story is based on childhood summery feel (playing swords/paperboat) and towards the end Sarah portrays a grunge rock and roll character. This was shot in Exeter. Lots of red bull helps to fuel the shoot by keeping the team excitement and energy up. :)

It's been more than a year since I last shoot with Tara. It was an enjoyable shoot having able to catch up with her again. There were two assistants, Tsu and Dylan that helped me out on that day. That makes things easier. More hands make the job faster too.

A couple of months ago, I did a shoot for Fantasticsmag. The stylist Simone and I were having the same ideas when we were planning for this shoot, and it finally came to execution. We had decided to do an exclusive shoot for the magazine. I was really glad with the final outcome. The team was amazing, and you guys will possibly notice that I do not shoot male models that frequent. (I'm not sure why? I guess most models that contacted me are female models) However, it was a very fun to shoot with Leo, the male model.

Friends of ours asks us to accompany them to Bicester Village designer outlet for shopping, this was taken halfway on our way there. Seon stopped the car halfway and we jumped down the car, the scenery was so beautiful together with the winter sun shining through the clouds. We ended up in Bicester Village but wasn't doing any shopping, instead we were having pub food while waiting for our friends to finish their after christmas fashion shopping. :/
