TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY (( foundations Im loving )) part 1

I have combination skin this meaning I have an Oily Tzone and dryness in certain parts of my face, plus my skin is very sensitive and acne prone so YEAH ! I got the whole package lol.

I roll around foundations a lot , because either they are too oily or too dry or just BLAH I just stormed my way AWAY from the MAC Matchmaster since it started to brake me out , thank God is was just when I had 1 or 2 applications.

I had my eye on 2 foundations the Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation and Tarte Amazonian Clay. I walked around them for quite some time and I decided to get my Amazonian Clay from QVC since they had a gr8 deal 2 bottles plus the application brush for $48 when each foundation is $38.00 and the brush is around the $30's as well so yeah is like I got 1 1/2 for free lol ! like if you could part the brush in half lol ! oh well for me it was a nice steal.

I got the Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation from the Laura Mercier counter inside Macys and nah I couldnt score any deal on that just the free gift with purchase but thats about it still payed $40 for it. YEAH they both are very pricey or at least for me but foundation is one thing I splurge on because is like the base for a beautiful canvas.

Ok lets start with Tarte Amazonian Clay will balance your skin due to the fact that it contains Clay and Clay has been around for many many years and been proven to help with skin conditions such as reducing the appearance of pores , minimizing discoloration and helps heal acne , of course this foundation is not targeted to heal acne yet it doesnt brake me out.

This foundation is super blendable and buildable so you can achieve any look you desire and yet it doesnt look cake'e.

The best part of this foundation regardless of the product itself is that it is CRUELTY FREE.

I love the wooden cap and the clean earthy look to the packaging and the actual product.

This is the application brush it came with very very nice , sturdy and gr8 for applying this foundation theyre the perfect match lol ! and I got it for free

This is the entire bundle and my shade is medium , usually Im light-medium BUT spring and summer are the upcoming seasons so yeah I have no idea how tan Ill be so I just played it safe , if I need a lighter color I can use my Laura Mercier of just add a tad bit of moisturizer.

Weeeell ! My March BB was kinda of a love-hate one lol ! Indeed it falls on the GR8 range but I got 1 product I already own and It was the full size one sooo yeah , it was a nail polish so yeah its awesome because I love nail polish YET ! I already own it sooo mmmhhm ! Now I gotta have a swap swap swap ;) well I also received a super nice deluxe sample from the famous Sugar Scrub from Fresh which runs for $22.50 Ive been wanting it for the longest yet I always find my way round it and end up not buying it lol ! I also got an Uh-mazing hair serum from Kerastase buuut the full size runs for $55 !! So yeah lol back to my coconut oil hahaha ! I got a perfume sample which smells pretty nice YET runs for $90 soo mmhm NO buy lol and my favorite out of all was a TWiST TIE ! Omg I got my 1st one 7 mnth ago and I still have it ;) I ordered the 3 pack finally so yeah I have enough stuff and info to give you guys a full review ;) so yeah out of all the products I loved all hahhaa BUT ! The sizes were tiny or too expensive and the one full size one I already own it ;) ...

FRANKEN Friday !! Dollish Polish ( FAT GUY IN A LITTLE COAT )

Today Im ft. Dollish Polish which has amazing frankens <3 and I have my eye on a few, yet I had to have this bad boy just for its name I LOL'ed so much once I saw the name and I was totally drawn to it, it looked so pretty on the screen YET I blew my mind in person.

Well the name of this polish explains it all , but in case this quote didnt ring anything on your head here it goes. This quote is form the movie " Tommy Boy form 1995 ft. Chris Farley here is a quick description from Wikipedia "Tommy Boy is a 1995 road comedy film directed by Peter Segal, written by Bonnie and Terry Turner, and starring former Saturday Night Live colleaguesChris Farley and David Spade. This franken was inspired by the attire Tommy Boy wears and he acts the quote " FAT GUY IN A LITTLE COAT" and I think that Dollish Polish scored GR8 and the result was amazing.

The best part about tanning is the peculiar smell of tanning lotion ,the mix of coconut yet not head aching, its amazing.

Well at least I love and adore the way it smells, and wish I found a perfume or body spray that smell at least similar ; and I think I did, and its called BRONZE GODDES by Estee Lauder. I saw it on the Estee Lauder Macys counter a few days ago paired with a HUGE bronzer and a "bronze" color lipstick that honestly neither of them appealed to me.

BRONZE GODDES on the other hand smelled amazing just like taking a whiff off the tanning lotion

and it does linger onto your skin yet settles once it mixes with out natural scent. Price-wise I feel its kinda pricey at $49.99 plus tax , because Im not drawn to Estee Lauder cosmetics often well actually it the 1st Estee Lauder counter purchase I make, I often feel their cosmetics are kinda boring but I dont want to judge the book by its cover.

BRONZE GODDES can also be found at CCO's for round' $45.00 so theres not that big of a difference, as well as Macys. Honestly I have not checked their website to see if its avai. there because as I mentioned above Im not a fan of Estee Lauder yet I did enjoy my purchase.

The bottle its pretty normal , just rectangular with a multi colored gold cap, and "ombre"ish gold glitter effect

The glitter shines a LOT ! and it does NOT fall out.

RANT Time !! Dove Dry Shampoo

I usually dont go OFF on any company since I usually like to "try" new stuff and bring you guys an honest review , not everything that shines is gold and deff. The world aint pink lol ! But OMG ! Im so so so sad that this product did not work at all and the worst part was it wasnt even for its quality but for its quantity.
Let me explain myself a little better , well as any woman having a good dry shampoo is a MUST with the whole every other day shampooing thing, I honestly just need a dry shampoo 1nce a week cuz I just cant just not wash my hair but I push myself and I can only do the dry shampoo once lol. Ive tried Oscar Blandi pronto dry shampoo and works GR8 but its kinda pricey, tresseme didnot work for me it felt like hair spray not dry shampoo, sooo it happened that I was on the lookout for something in my HEB hair products section and saw the new Dove Refresh+Care which is their "natural" line. Well since I didnt need anything but dry shampoo I grabbed me some dry shampoo and was so excited well I fixed myself to use it so I did and the product worked nice YET I only got to use it ONCE !!!!! Yes once I finished using it I placed back on my vanity then today was one of those dry shampoo days and POOF !!!! Theres was none ! NADA ! Omg ! No 1 else uses my stuff then the product that was left on the cap from last use dried into a pasty substance very very rare ... Well here you have some shots ! Very sad that it didnot work out because the scent was marvelous !!

Sorry Ive been gone so long but my mother in law had been staying with us for 3 months and now she is leaving back to her home so you know how it all goes getting all the stuff 2gether and any goodies she may need sooo yeah.
Picking up some goodies from sephora the most woderful thing happen to me !! The Bestsey polishes ! Were rite there and then waitin for me ! Uhh yeah ! I was so mesmerized with all those beauties that immediatly I got the one with pretty box , of course gor my luck it was pink and scent ! So double score lol ! Ive only swatched this on the nailwheel and it is indeed very scented ! And whoa ! I love it , it is infused with too too by Betsey which is her most recent perfume ;) Im going to pair both and according to me the nail polish will linger the scent on me longer ! Lol ;)

I only got 1 out the collection because I was in a hurry and you know how that works , you can never be on "hurry" in a beauty store !
Im a huge fan of anything Betsey ! I adore her style ;) wow she is so so amazing ;) .. So im beyong thrilled and excited Im even planing a Betsey week ! Ft. this polish , her perfumes maybe some jewelry proly some nail art designs lol keep an eye here and well se wasap lol !

TOO TOO PERFUME BOTTLE

Yesterday I went to my local "Outlet" Mall where they have a Cosmetic Company Store or CCO.
Where you can get limited edition products as well as "regular" ones of brands like Bobbi Brown , MAC , Estee Lauder , Clinique , Origins as many other ones for a discounted price.
I go for usually MAC lip products that where limited edition :).

I found 1 of the lipglass from the Venomous Villains collection released in 2010 in shade strange potion ( very prety coral color ). Another lipglass that I found was the Viva Glam Cindy also released in 2010 ( another coral'e shade ).
Then I was about to check out when a bright sparkly thingie caught my eye it was a Superglass by MAC which btw Ive never heard of apparently they came out in 2010 as well and I couldnt find them in the MAC website so Im guessing they were limited edition. The shade is called Cherry Electric and they couldnt've named it better is a soft pink with red tint to it and a appearance of a hot pink with purple flakies and gold shimmer that once it hits the light looks amazing.
My last score for the trip was the Sensory Therapy by Origins a liquid that when applied to your temples , ear lobes and the back of your neck relaxes you and soothes your emotions , I tried it and it was refreshing yet Ive not tested against stress lol.

Im super super happy with my finds from this weekend maybe Ill go back today so see what else I can score :) lol ! have a gr8 Sunday and be safe.

I do not consider myself a fashionista or else , yet I dont think I have awful taste in fashion, I play with my colors and try to stay off my comfort zone without looking ridiculous.
Today I have to run some errands as usual , I wanna look comfy-style'ish so heres what I put together:

I grabbed my FAVORITE EVER pants !! J.Crew PIXIE PANTS ! thee best of the best pant-legging combo ( mime are black but I only found the pic in grey )

For the top I went with my FAV color's range fuchsia pink not "up in yo'face " but bright enough as far as shoes thats where I went out of my comfort zone using the leopard print shoes I would usually do black boots or flats , but I fell for the leopard and paired with my MK chunky gold watch.

Face-wise I change my lipstick a lot , like every other day I stick a new color in my purse so todays pick was VIVA GLAM Gaga 2 and my current "testing stage" mascara is YSL Faux Cills Shocking.

Final thoughts: Sand Tropez ( Essie ) is a tad darker on the bottle but that slight darkness fades away once applied to the nail, yet you can still see a difference Bare Bones is a very close dupe.

The $ difference is round $3 or so but hey every penny counts in the world of polish.

I know Ive rant about BIRCHBOX in the past and Ive mentioned that I would cancel the service , but for some odd reason I forgot to cancel or skip the month of february and OMG Birchbox confuses me so so much , because it so happens that they gave me an amazing box this month. Theres around $30 dlls worth of product and I just had to pay $10.

Nicki Minaj VIVA GLAM !!

This 2012 collection ft. a lipstick ft Nicki Minaj and lip conditioner ft. Ricky Martin, I only got the lipstick because Im not a fan of the lip conditioner BUUUT Im going back for it and getting it for my husband.

As I was saying the lipstick is a bright yellow under toned pink, I really really LOVE IT , its not your typical "barbie pink" yet it appears to be that way on the website and on their adds.

Its almost like a flamingo'ish pink very very pretty suitable for every skin tone , pretty moisturizing and hydrating on the lips and as usual with MAC lipsticks really nice payoff as far as pigmentation concerns.

You can find the Viva Glam products at your MAC makeup counters or online at least check it out Im pretty sure you guys will love it and the best part its that 100% of the money you pay goes straight to the MAC foundation and be part of the team that are raising HIV/AIDS awareness around the world since 1994.

The 1st time ever to shop Laura Mercier an what attracted me to this lady ?? YES youre rite NAIL POLISH ! I saw the review of Laura Mercier new collection from Youtuber ( Raeviewer ) and OmG I just had to have the nail polishes and a lip-pot-stain lol !!! Weeeel here are myyyy goodies

Luscious is a super cute jelly , that reaches full opacity with 3 coats ( for me ) but most of you guys can pull it off with maybe 2. Its a raspberry color with no glitter or shine to it :) very very flattering on any skin tone.

Cabana is the perfect coral not to orange not to red or falling into a pink , very very nice and brightening

soft and delicate color always makes the hands look more femenine and the fingers appear to be longer :)

This the lip-pot-stain lol ! is a lip stain in a potted lipgloss form and it does lasts a while on the lip and it doesnt have that sticky feeling. As far as the color , I dont consider it being a "coral" yet a very subtle red with hint of gold sparkle in it.

The Laura Mercier's girl was super nice to me and gave me some samples that so far so gooood I love them !!

The clenser/exfoliator and the repair serum are the BOMB ! I havent yet tried the tinted moisturizer but as soon as I do Ill post my opinion on it :)

Talking about packaging well is very clean and sleek nothing over the top , yet not being cheap.

Pure Turquoise is the bomb !! I received it as a swap from my beloved friend Claudia in thee Netherlands as I mention in my last nail mail post.
As a good nail polish fanatic I COULDNT wait to try it on lol !! And OMG !! I was soo excited that I even paired it with a very very similar color Juicy velour jacket and was rocking mu nails and jacket like there was no tomorrow lol !!! Then I went home and decided I wanted to do some nail art on it !! Yeah I know 2 days same polish GOSH I must've loved this guy ! Well I grabbed some black polish and pink lol and I went off !! Theres nothing better to kick-start the weekend than with some naaaail maaaail ! and this one specially came from the Netherlands from my awesome Nail'sista Claudia van Dijk !! We had a swap were she got Helena by Julep and some extra julep goodies and I got me some Barry M's !! OMG !! MY 1st BARRY M's !!!! She "nailed" lol the color selection !! She scored the jackpot !!! with Bright Pink , Indigo and Real Turquoise !! She added some nail rhinestones and a awesomeee bracelet which btw Im rocking already ! THANK YOU Claudia !!! Ur amazing !!!

I know that Valenties month is not here yet but hey love doesnt have a specific date rite ?? Love should be spontaneous ! Well thas why my lovely mani towarda the end of Jan. lol.
As a base I used "planks a lot" by OPI from the pirates of the caribean collection which is a creme finish pastel purpleish and for the hearts I used "sparrow me the drama" a creme finish pastel pink with blue undertones that is very pretty on its own but I gave the cute touch to the mani. Im not a pro nail art "artist" so excuse my hearts lol !! Have a lovely day muuuua xoxo
