Worst Penalty EVER!!

September 7th, 2011. Terrible.While most of the world's attention on Tuesday was focused on the international arena, in Egypt the latest round of the cup was underway.Al Ahly roasted Kima Aswan 4-nil, however the win wasn't all smiles for the hosts as Amir Sayoud spectacularly fluffed a penalty. Sayoud's intention was to try and fake-out the Kima Aswan goalie through a stuttered penalty approach, but instead of fooling the keeper it was the taker who ended up with egg on his face.

The striker managed to get his foot stuck in the ground as he faked a shot on goal. That caused him to loose his footing, resulting in the taker falling flat on his face as his effort trickled humiliating to the goalie.

Adding insult to injury, Sayoud was booked by the referee for taking an illegal spot-kick.

Apparently this cave is quite near Benagil Beach in Algarve, Portugal.

A sea cave, also known as a littoral cave, is a type of cave formed primarily by the wave action of the sea. The primary process involved is erosion. Sea caves are found throughout the world, actively forming along present coastlines and as relict sea caves on former coastlines. Some of the largest wave-cut caves in the world are found on the coast of Norway, but are now 100 feet or more above present sea level. These would still be classified as littoral caves. By contrast, in places like Thailand’s Phang Nga Bay, solutionally formed caves in limestone have been flooded by the rising sea and are now subject to littoral erosion, representing a new phase of their enlargement. The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world, next to those in New Zealand. It is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. The spring is approximately 250 by 300 feet (80 by 90 m) in size and is 160 feet (50 m) deep. The spring discharges an estimated 560 US gallons (2,100 L) of 160 °F (70 °C) water per minute.

The vivid colors in the spring are the result of pigmented bacteria in the microbial mats that grow around the edges of the mineral-rich water. The bacteria produce colors ranging from green to red; the amount of color in the microbial mats depends on the ratio of chlorophyll to carotenoids and on the temperature of the water which favors one bacterium over another. In the summer, the mats tend to be orange and red, whereas in the winter the mats are usually dark green.

The center of the pool is sterile due to extreme heat. The deep blue color of the water in the center of the pool results from the intrinsic blue color of water, itself the result of water’s selective absorption of red wavelengths of visible light. Though this effect is responsible for making all large bodies of water blue, it is particularly intense in Grand Prismatic Spring because of the high purity and depth of the water in the middle of the spring. Acrophobia is an extreme or irrational fear of heights. It belongs to a category of specific phobias, called space and motion discomfort that share both similar etiology and options for treatment. Vertigo is often used (incorrectly) to describe a fear of heights, but it is more accurately a spinning sensation that occurs when one is not actually spinning.

It can be triggered by looking down from a high place, or by looking straight up at a high place or tall object, but this alone does not describe vertigo. True vertigo can be triggered by almost any type of movement (e.g. standing up, sitting down, walking) or change in visual perspective (e.g. squatting down, walking up or down stairs, looking out of the window of a moving car or train). Vertigo is qualified as height vertigo when referring to dizziness triggered by heights. [Source]

تعرض بنغ شاولين لبتر نصف جسمة في الصين بعد أن دهستة شاحنة وقد أدهش شفائه الجراحين بعدعامين من مرورة بسلسلة من العمليات.

خطف مواطن سكران الاضواء أمس من فريق مسرحية «الزوج يريد تغيير المدام» التي كانت تعرض على مسرح سينما غرناطة في منطقة خيطان وذلك بصعوده خشبة المسرح خلسة برفقة اطفاله اثناء العرض المسرحي طالباً تصوير الممثلين مع اطفاله بالقوة الامر الذي جعل المنظمين يحاولون انزاله الا انه رفض ذلك ومع محاولة انزاله بالقوة استشاط بعض الشباب الحضور غضباً وناصروه ضد المنظمين ليسود الهرج والمرج في المسرح ومن ثم الازدحام والتدافع للخروج من قبل الحضور الذي يبلغ زهاء 1200 شخص، وأثناء هذه الاجواء المزدحمة ومع سيطرة الفوضى اصيب عدد من النساء بالاغماء اثناء خروجهن، وجرى استدعاء رجال أمن من خيطان حيث تمت السيطرة على الوضع والقي القبض على المواطن وعدد من الشباب الذين اعتدوا على المنظمين.

In 1927, eruptions caused smaller Anak Krakatau to rise from the sea, and the emerging volcanic island continues to grow at an average rate of 2 cm per day. The latest eruption of Anak Krakatau started in 2008 April and continues today. In this picture, Anak Krakatau is seen erupting from Rakata, the main island of the Krakatoai group. Pictured above, a roll cloud extends far into the distance in 2009 January above Las Olas Beach in Maldonado, Uruguay. A roll cloud is a low, horizontal, tube-shaped, and relatively rare type of arcus cloud. Roll clouds usually appear to be “rolling” about a horizontal axis. They are a solitary wave called a soliton, which is a wave that has a single crest and moves without changing speed or shape. One of the most famous frequent occurrences is the Morning Glory cloud in Queensland, Australia.

One of the main causes of the Morning Glory cloud is the mesoscale circulation associated with sea breezes that develop over the Cape York peninsula and the Gulf of Carpentaria. The Palais Garnier, known also as the Opéra de Paris or Opéra Garnier, but more commonly as the Paris Opéra, is a 1,600-seat opera house on the Place de l’Opéra in Paris, France, which was the primary home of the Paris Opera from 1875 until 1989. A grand building designed by Charles Garnier in the Neo-Baroque (or “Baroque Revival”) style, it is regarded as one of the architectural masterpieces of its time.

Upon its inauguration during 1875, the opera house was named officially the Académie Nationale de Musique – Théâtre de l’Opéra. It retained this title until 1978 when it was re-named the Théâtre National de l’Opéra de Paris. After the opera company chose the Opéra Bastille as their principal theatre upon its completion during 1989, the theatre was re-named as the Palais Garnier, though Académie Nationale de Musique is still sprawled above the columns of its front façade.

In spite of the change of names and the Opera company’s relocation to the Opéra Bastille, the Palais Garnier is still known by many people as the Paris Opéra, as have all of the several theatres which have served as the principal venues of the Parisian Opera and Ballet since its initiation.
