In the 18th century Scotland, doctors in mental hospitals prescribed heavy farm chores as "the best medicine" for their patients and documented marked improvements in mood and behavior. Now scientists are studying the link between exercise and mood changes at close range and coming up with some fascinating results.

One expert in the field says "exercise is clearly associated with mental-health benefits." And moderate exercisers show lowered blood-pressure levels and a resultant positive mood. The key is moderate exercise, performed a minimum of 30 minutes, three or four times a week. Brisk walking, swimming, lifting weights, and bicycling - all achieve good results.

People who exercise regularly, even at something as simple as walking or bicycling, are more flexible. They experience less stress on the muscles and joints when they do bend down the wrong way. Conditioned muscles recover faster, too. It's the couch potato who hauls himself erect one Saturday afternoon to rake the leaves or shovel snow who has trouble.

The big problem we all face these days is living a stressful life. All families seem to be too busy to sit down together and share the joys and pleasures of life. The little things that once mattered are no longer important and now there is a race for more money, more time and more material possessions.

By using simple relaxation techniques, exercising and making changes in our lifestyles, we can manage stress and take control of your lives! Once you have become aware of stress, it's time to relax! There are many techniques for relaxing (and no one method is better than another), but the most basic is deep breathing. One of the body's automatic reactions to stress is rapid, shallow breathing. Breathing slowly and deeply is one of the ways you can "turn off" your stress reaction and "turn on" your relaxation response.

Still another relaxation technique that can help you reduce stress is "clearing your mind." Since your stress response is a physical and emotional interaction, giving yourself a mental "break" can help relax your body as well. When you clear your mind, you try to concentrate on one pleasant thought, work, or image and let the rest of your worries slip away. A short and quiet walk can do wonders and just a walk around the block will clear your head and often give you a new spurt of energy.

Muscle and joint aches and pains are a common complaint for many of us, living as we do in a sedentary, high-stress society. The cliché warning us to "use it or lose it" isn't far off the mark. Our bodies pay the price for long hours slumped at our desks or nestled in a soft chair watching television. And if you think some of our aches and pains are just another consequence of aging, you're wrong - more often, it's a result of inactivity and weaker muscles.

Doctors now say that walking is one of the best exercises. It helps the total circulation of blood throughout the body, and thus has a direct effect on your overall feeling of health. There are things such a aerobics, jogging, swimming and many other exercises which will benefit a person both physically and mentally. Researchers agree that exercise helps to ease anxiety and lift spirits.

The overall landscape of training methods and individuals who participate in recreational exercise is vast and varied.Who are these individuals, and what do they do? Let’s use “David” as an example. This fictional recreational-exercise client is an avid basketball player for an all-men’s league. His team plays twice a week, but David still wants to stay conditioned and maintain his strength. Therefore, he runs on the treadmill for 30 minutes 1–2 days a week and performs a strength training regimen 2–3 times a week. You may have clients whose needs are similar to David’s—recreational exercisers and athletes who are not at the level of Olympic power lifters or elite marathon runners. Nevertheless, these clients want to remain active and participate in sports such as cycling, running, basketball, swimming and weightlifting—either for fun or for competitive reasons. During training periods, recreational exercisers or athletes usually perform both endurance and strength training, a strategy referred to as concurrent training (Leveritt et al.1999). The principle underlying this strategy is that people like David can attain benefits from practicing endurance and strength training either in the same workout or within the same time period.

The training for a high-strength, high-power activity such as weightlifting or for a high-endurance, aerobic power event such as marathon running may seem uncomplicated when you are designing a single training program (Nader 2006). Traditionally, low-intensity endurance activities require light-resistance, high-repetition training. On the other hand, high-intensity, short-duration activities benefit from heavy-resistance, low-repetition training (Hickson 1980). Designing programs for sports and activities that demand a combination of strength and endurance training can be more complicated (Nader 2006). In exploring the concept of concurrent training, this article first reviews the adaptations involved in strength and endurance exercise; then looks at the relevant research, both negative and positive; and concludes with practical ideas on how to apply concurrent-training concepts to program design for recreational exercisers and athletes.

Warm-up and stretch before exercising. Warming up and stretching can help the knee joint in many ways, including increasing the circulation of the blood and lymph fluid into and out of joint structures and the adjacent soft tissues and ensuring that the muscles and the ligaments attendant to the knee joint are not too tight. As a result, tension on the tendons is reduced, and pressure on the knee is relieved.

2. Develop muscle balance. Strengthen the muscles of the lower body to reduce the amount of force that goes through the knees. Make sure that you maintain an appropriate muscle balance between the quadriceps and hamstrings (i.e., a 3-to-2 strength ratio is recommended) to provide an improved level of stabilization and strength for the knee joint.

3. Avoid doing too much exercise. Some individuals hurt their knees because of the overuse syndrome. Simply stated, cumulatively, they place excessive demands on their knees.

4. Avoid sudden increases in the intensity of exercise. Allow your body to gradually and progressively adapt to the demands that you impose on it. Doing too much too soon can injure your knees. Keep in mind that some actions that alter intensity level are not as obvious as others. For example, changing your approach to exercising (i.e., running hills instead of jogging on a flat terrain) may unduly increase your level of intensity.

5. Protect your feet. Your feet (particularly how and where they strike the ground when exercising) can have a profound effect on your knees. In this regard, two of the most meaningful actions you can undertake are to wear shoes that fit properly and provide adequate cushioning and to immediately take care of any foot problem (e.g., blisters) that occurs.

6. Vary the mode of exercise. Using several exercise modalities keeps you from repeatedly stressing the same bones and muscle groups, thereby keeping the orthopedic stress on your knees to a minimum.

7. Be conscious of possible load forces on your knees when choosing your exercise mode. Whenever possible, avoid engaging in an exercise modality that places unduly high impact forces on your knees (i.e., running stadium stairs, running downhill, etc.).

8. Use exercise equipment properly. Improper use of exercise equipment can cause knee problems. For example, if you exercise on a stationary bike, check the position of the pedal crank relative to the seat post. If the crank is not relatively close to the seat post, you will place undue stress on your knees while exercising.

9. Keep your weight down. Maintaining an appropriate level of weight can reduce the stress on your knees. Excessive weight can increase your risk of degenerative conditions, such as osteoarthritis of the knee.

10. Listen to your body. Pain is your body's signal that you may be placing too much stress on your knees. Reducing or stopping whatever is causing the stress is the primary step in ensuring that your actions don't lead to a more serious injury.

How do you sort out all the sales pitches, sizes, qualities, quantities, different prices, honest descriptions, and misrepresentations of product? Green tea tablets are no exception to this dilemma.

Listed below are 8 topics to be considered when choosing a green tea tablet:
1. Why are you buying them? Perhaps you know the health benefits to be attained from green tea but you don't like the taste of the beverage, have no time to brew it, or you want other vitamins and minerals in the same tablet.

2. What are the benefits of caffeine in the tablets? Caffeine has been shown to work with the antioxidant catechins in green tea to help promote weight loss and enhance scavenging of free radicals. Caffeine content in green leaf products is less than half of the amount in the same size cup of coffee.

3. Should decaffeination be considered? Decaffeinated tea in the U.S. has to have less than two percent caffeine content. If you are looking for the benefits of the stimulant, be aware that most green tea tablets are made from the extracts of decaffeinated tea. You should know if the stimulant is present or not if you are sensitive to it.

4. Do they contain additives? Yes, some green tea tablets are marketed as weight loss products and have added caffeine. Some have ephedrine and synephrine weight loss compounds in the products.

5. What warning is listed with them? One pharmacist recommends taking green tea tablets only every other day. Consult your doctor before taking them if you are pregnant, have liver conditions, or take any blood thinners like aspirin or warfarin.

6. Do they contain fillers? Green tea tablets can contain fillers such as colloidal silicon dioxide, modified cellulose gum, dibasic calcium phosphate, and stearic acid.

7. What strengths do they come in? The commonly suggested recommendation is to take 125-500 mg of extract per day, which equals four to ten cups of green tea. Common packaging consists of 100 mg per pill with 35 mg of available EGCG, and 500 mg per pill with 175 mg of available EGCG. Some muscle-building products contain 10,000 mg of extract per pill.

8. Should you consider a total nutritional supplement instead of a green tea tablet? Yes, I would. Why throw darts at a list of vitamins and nutrients and take mega-doses of a few of them. You know the cost and inconvenience of taking several pills daily can end badly.

If you have a bad reaction or feel poorly while taking them, how do you decide which one or ones to stop taking? I recommend taking one balanced nutritional supplement that provides a safe maintenance level of natural vitamins and nutrients, day in and day out.

Now it's time to start putting this information to work. I believe you need a healthful diet, regular exercise and should consider taking a quality nutritional supplement. There are natural supplements that contain a balanced amount of many vitamins and nutrients known to promote a healthy body.
Holistic healing is based on the analysis of a whole and its general characteristics. Holistic medicine relates the human mind to the human body and spirit. In other words, it takes into consideration all components of the reality we live in. At the same time, it relates external to internal factors that could influence the formation of a physical disease.

Therefore, alternative medicine is based on treatments that look for solutions while analyzing the whole, and not only its parts, the way that traditional medicine does. For example, there are doctors who specialize in the cure of specific diseases, concentrated in specific parts of the human body. This means that they don't analyze many other factors that don't belong to their specialty. Their medicine is also concentrated only in the organic and material reality.

A healing process based on holistic medicine can be the practice of a specific treatment for a specific disease. However, holistic medicine will pay attention to many other factors besides the organic ones. For example, it will relate psychological and behavioral factors to physical problems when trying to discover the causes of the formation of a physical disease. This is why alternative medicine can cure physical problems through psychotherapy. It can also cure these problems by using various natural elements.

For example, there are many natural treatments based on herbs that can cure various diseases without the use of traditional medicine.
Natural healing is based on chemical combinations already formed by the nature of our planet. Traditional medicine is based on substances obtained through various chemical combinations found through experimentation. Many of these substances cause various damages to the human body and mind, instead of curing the physical diseases or mental illnesses that they are trying to eliminate.

Alternative medicine looks for natural ways to fight against physical diseases and mental illnesses while using a holistic method, which analyzes and relates everything that belongs to the human reality. This is how it discovers the roots of all health problems and their solutions.

There are many different methods for the practice of alternative medicine and holistic healing. The most effective one is the scientific method of dream interpretation discovered by the psychiatrist Carl Jung, and simplified by me. I continued his research in the unknown region of the human psyche and discovered the roots of the human absurdity. I also discovered the cure of all mental illnesses through our obedience to the wise guidance of the unconscious mind that produces our dreams.

While Jung was afraid to completely trust the unconscious mind, I found scientific proof of the divine origin of the unconscious mind. This was how my work created a bridge between science and religion.
Now we have explanations for all unexplained phenomena. The unconscious mind is a miraculous and powerful mind that eliminates the human ignorance with its wisdom.

All dreams contain precious messages that work like psychotherapy and medicine. Thus, by following dream therapy we discover the cure for all physical diseases, mental illnesses or mental disorders.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung's research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.
Anti-aging medicine has become all the rage these days, as people are looking for ways to not only live a healthier life, but to have that health and vitality last well into their later years. Imagine being able to live an active lifestyle and look young well into your sixties, seventies, or even eighties, still being able to do all the things you love.

Anti-aging medicine is not an exact science, as everyone has their own unique picture of health. But regardless of who you are, an effective anti-aging routine will involve addressing 3 areas which all go together: How you look, the health of your body, and how you feel mentally and emotionally.

Taking Care of Your Skin
Your skin is the only organ in your body that has constant direct exposure to the outside environment. It is also what people see when they look at you, so taking good care of your skin is important in helping you to look and feel younger. Basic tips for keeping skin healthy include:

Avoiding overexposure to the sun: While getting out in the sun can give you that nice tan, getting too much sun speeds up the aging process in your skin and can cause a number of cosmetic issues such as uneven pigmentation, wrinkles, and loss of collagen (leading to sagging or wrinkled skin). In addition, sun exposure increases risk for skin cancer. So if you are going to be out in the sun, be sure to use a good sunscreen.

Drink water: Our bodies are 60-70 percent water, and water plays an important part in keeping our skin moisturized as well as reducing cell damage and helping to remove waste from the skin. Even the best moisturizing creams will be of little benefit if the body isn't hydrated.

Moisturizers: There are so many lotions, creams, and moisturizers out there, and most people find their favorites and stick to those. Generally, a good moisturizer has antioxidants in it which help to prevent skin damage, and avoids overuse of synthetic chemicals which can damage skin over time. Other natural medicines in a moisturizer can help soothe and firm the skin, or repair damaged collagen cells.

Exfoliation: There are a number of ways to exfoliate skin cells, unblocking pores and leaving fresh and healthy skin cells. Exfoliating products like scrubs, facial washes, or masks can help take off the top layer of dead skin, improving skin health and bringing back that natural glow.

Exercise, Weight, and Sleep
A sedentary lifestyle is getting harder to avoid as the majority of jobs involve sitting at a desk and more and more entertainment involves looking at some sort of a screen. But staying young means staying active, and that can only be done by incorporating physical activity into your life.
While some people submit themselves to rigorous exercise and diet programs as a means to stay fit, this is not the only way to stay looking and feeling healthy.

You can maintain a healthy weight and conditioning level simply through finding activities you like and moderating your caloric intake. Ask yourself, what do I like to do? Hiking, swimming, riding your bike, playing a sport, going for walks - staying active with whatever you enjoy doing will increase the likelihood that you stick with it.

As for your diet, the number one factor in maintaining a healthy diet is restricting caloric intake. Eating too many calories - regardless of what food you are eating - is correlated with a number of health risks in addition to the obvious weight gain. In addition, certain foods such as trans-fats, simple sugars or carbohydrates, and starches, when eaten in excess can all lead to a spike in blood sugar levels which can trigger inflammation in the body and speed up the aging process.

Adequate sleep and rest is also critical in slowing down aging. When we sleep, our bodies refresh and reset themselves to be prepared for the next day. Cells repair themselves, hormonal levels rebalance, and our energy reserves build back up. Getting enough sleep, as well as getting a good quality of sleep, will help your body feel youthful and energized.

Aiming for a healthy weight and level of fitness, in addition to getting adequate rest, will go a long way in helping you to feel and look younger by increasing your energy levels and improving a number of health factors that can prevent disease in the long run. Especially as we get older and the process of aging begins to take its natural course, these three things can go a long way in keeping us feeling younger than we actually are.

Natural Medicines to Prevent Aging
Antioxidants: The term "antioxidant" has built up quite a bit of buzz over the years, to the point where it has taken on almost a magical quality. But the action of antioxidants is really very simple. An antioxidant is any substance that helps prevent cell damage by reducing the formation of free radicals in the body, and by reducing inflammation. Examples include Vitamins A, C, and E, selenium, lycopene, and bioflavonoids. Antioxidants can be found in many foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains, and they can also be taken in supplemental form.

Resveratrol: A lot of hype has come into the media lately regarding this natural medicine, and for good reason. Resveratrol not only helps prevent a number of cardiovascular issues, but even slows down the processes in the body associated with aging. It is a powerful antioxidant which helps reduce cellular damage associated with aging, reduces inflammation, and helps activate a gene which prevents the process of aging by protecting cells from DNA damage. Resveratrol is found in grapes and some other foods, but not in high amounts, so it is most often taken in supplement form.

Adaptogens: These herbal medicines help slow down the aging process by moderating the hormones in the body related to stress. Excessive stress hormones in the body lead to increased cellular damage and accelerate the aging process. A few effective adaptogens include ashwaghanda, rhodiola, Siberian ginseng, reishi mushroom, and maca root.

Sleep aids: For people who have difficulty getting enough rest, natural medicines can help improve sleep and keep the body refreshed. Herbal medicines such as valerian or passionflower, or amino acids like 5-HTP or GABA can help relax the nervous system and help you get a better quality of sleep. Melatonin can be taken to reset your body's natural circadian rhythms.

Healthy Mindset in Aging
A successful approach to anti-aging involves a healthy mindset towards getting older. In this sense, it is important to be realistic about aging being a fact of life. Our physical bodies will get older over time regardless of what we do, but our attitude towards this can make a big difference in how we look and feel.
Accepting the increasing limitations of our bodies as we age can help us to enjoy the things we are still capable of, regardless of age. In staying healthy and active in the ways that are possible, it becomes easier to enjoy life for what it is, and this ability to still appreciate our bodies helps us not only to feel younger, but to look it as well.

There is a natural radiance to life that helps us to feel and look young no matter what age we are. Sometimes in the responsibility and rule laden world of adulthood it is possible to lose touch with that spark that came so much easier when we were kids. But that youthful energy isn't gone, it is only dormant and waiting for those imposed expectations to let up a bit so it can express itself. So take it easy, and remember to enjoy - no matter what age you are, you're still the same kid you've always been.
Then I discuss the dangers in misunderstanding depression's role as a warning system to alert humans it is time to rest and to forgive. Last, I add commentary and make some suggestions as to what can be done to save depression from reaching the chronic stage.

Part one:
What is the Matter with Humans?
It is sufficient to say that most people appear driven by some unseen force or ("natural law") that causes them to hurry to get to where they are going fast, and we always seek the most convenient mode of transportation (path of least resistance) to get us there with the least amount of stress as possible. When humans meet up with difficulty, we immediately stress about it, and when stress reaches critical mass, the weak, or ("hyper sensitive") become depressed and as a result sometimes because of lateral damage they die.

What drives nature is another "unseen force" that we call natural law, and similar to convenience in humans, nature always takes the "path of least resistance". When nature, again similar to humans, meets up with difficulty, stress becomes evident, and once again like humans, when the stress level reaches critical mass, the weak (under nourished) succumb to depression (energy loss) and eventually dies. In light of the above paragraph, we can say that it is the "weak" that fall behind because of stress introduced to an otherwise easy way around things, and it appears to make no difference whether it is humans or nature trying to get from one point to another.

The consistency of point is; some are equipped with something that permits them to continue regardless of difficulty, and that stress is the precursor for depression. We will deal with nature next, but now, and where in humans depression is vital to survival in the way that it is the body's way of dealing with excessive stress, and how this becomes evident by the fact that humans are natural beings, and the human body, like nature, consistently seeks equilibrium. The point of consistency now changes to something not found in nature, but is prevalent and pervasive in humans and it is the serving the seven deadly sins or "desire".

What does serving desire have to do with stress and depression? This is just too easy a question to answer and so I will not answer it but to say that it is obvious. How do we eliminate desire from our daily diet? By holding within, the intent to "satisfy" our basic needs and recognize them as first, and foremost, important, and to be content with the simpler that things life has to offer. Doing this, while appreciating that we have the life saving warning signs and symptoms associated with depression to alert us that we are in need of rest or forgiveness, which forgiveness is type or a form of equilibrium.

Part two:
Dangers of Misunderstanding Depression
Nature always takes the path of least resistance while the modern day human does not always follow this natural law or rule of survival. At present, in diagnosing a person experiencing excessive stress that leads to depressive moods and anxiety, in many cases it is reported to the patient that his/her body is "shutting down". Upon hearing this diagnosis, and given the prognosis of possibly having to live with and accept that one has a "mental illness" which could lead to a life of medication and therapy, the patient now must deal with imagined fears. All of this dire news does exacerbate the primary cause and adds concern.

When imagined fear enters into the mind of a person recently diagnosed with chronic depression and severe anxiety, all future events have the extra burden that such a dreadful diagnosis and prognosis will supply, and, the subsequent treatment becomes adjacent to the primary cause only serving the patient with even more unnatural stress to the systems. As the patient must now struggle with more demands placed upon them that they must remember to follow through and consistently take medications, monitor activity, and deal with the "stigma" of mental illness.

Part three:
What can we do to protect ourselves from reaching the chronic stages of depression?
Equilibrium comes in many forms, and, it is in nature, including humans. All organisms seek to establish and sustain balance, or ("homeostasis"), and balance is "demanded" by the bodies of all living organisms in order to continue living with consistency. The main point here is living with consistency, and it is simply that through consciously seeking balance, equilibrium is established and homeostasis is the result.

The question remains and it is, "how does one achieve this apparently difficult task? The answer, by seeking to understand the true meaning, intent, and definition of forgiveness as that which is observable in nature, as nature does provide us with many clues as to how we humans should conduct even our personal and social affairs.

http://www.editnse.org/
The term "natural health" seems to be thrown around with abandon at everything, describing a mixture of philosophies, products, ideas, and opinions. It can be as varied as "taking walks in fresh unpolluted air, to eating organic foods, and countless other definitions in between. A slippery eel that slithers out between our grasping fingers, the concept of natural health does not give us anything firm to hold on to, no framework that is useful for guiding life choices.

This is unfortunate for a concept this important.
After years of researching and experimenting with lifestyle choices and activities that would keep me healthy and off of the surgeon's table, I have come to understand that natural health goes beyond mushy meanings and has some very practical uses in our society.

First, as a society, we do not take personal responsibility for our own health. We depend on doctors, who depend on the prescription pad, or surgery to "heal" us. While I am certain that advances in medicine have leapt forward over the last century - particularly for accidents and trauma - we can do personal work that can keep us healthy, minimize synthetic drug use, and save ourselves time and money. We just need to decide to do it.

Secondly we need to understand that our bodies are small biochemical factories that run on subtle energies and electromagnetic fields. It is this energy flow through the body that keeps us alive and healthy. Eastern cultures have understood this relationship of energy and health for centuries. The Chinese word for life energy is "Chi", in Japan, it is "Ki", in India it is "Prana". There is also a nice tie-in with spirituality in these ideas, if you choose to pursue that.

Western medicine is more and more understanding these ideas and how they relate to healing. To stay at our best health we need to pay attention to building the strength of our life energy
Next, we need to take care of the planet..... the ball of matter on which we all are passengers through space and time. A clear eyed look around at our environment will show that we have stress fractures in how we grow our food, and how we treat our oceans, rivers, and lakes, and the air that we breathe.

If we want to preserve it, and keep it healthy, we must all do even little things that respect our planet, and environment.
Finally, there is the matter of relationships with other people, other cultures, other governments, other races. The world is far too tribal and contentious and that leads to stress and conflict - some of which are wars that chew up lives and money. We need to actively seek harmony with others, and not conflict.

All of this together makes an expanded, more useful definition of natural health. Using these practices creates a true alternative health care medicine for our body, mind and planet. The 4 Natural Health Practices give us a simple framework for living life naturally, and a definition that helps get past all the hype in the marketplace regarding natural health.

They are not necessarily actionable by themselves, but if we adopt the spirit of them into our consciousness, it will help us to make better life decisions and we will be inspired to learn the details of how we can do each one of them well.
The 4 Natural Health Practices

Strengthening Life Energy

Putting the right things in the mind and body

Harmonizing - with others and the environment

Exercising the mind and body

Natural health ayurveda consists of an effective practice known as panchakarma. It is a cleansing treatment which works in getting rid of body toxins in order to provide quick relief to an individual experiencing a continuous illness.

According to Lonsdorf, a number of guidelines concerning panchakarma should be followed. The first step is to begin with a diet consisting of vegetables. It should mainly consist of simple grains and cooked vegetables. Those experiencing this specific form of treatment claim that they consume ghee or butter on empty stomachs for approximately four to five days. In ayurveda, it is considered that the body takes in the ghee which aids in eliminating toxins out of tissues.

These are then transferred into the intestines. The individual consumes a laxative to get rid of the toxins out of the intestines. The toxins usually gather together in that time period. Afterwards, sesame oil is infused with herb. The individual has to massage this lightly into her body on a daily basis. The purpose is to allow circulation and shift innate toxins into the bloodstream.

Detoxification is sped up by involving steam. Gentle herbal enemas could be recommended in the final stage of the entire process. Those practicing ayurveda state that people should go for methods which decrease anxiety. It is an old Hindu tradition which emphasizes on obtaining comfort from utilizing a mantra. This works in relaxing and energizing both the body including the mind if repeated without a sound.

Panchakrama is believed to be helpful in many cases. According to a Minneapolis resident by the name of Tracy Marks, she attempted every kind of medicine which consisted of physical treatment and pain medications due to the presence of herniated disks and fibromyalgia in her neck. These were sustained because of a car accident. Afterwards, she visited The Raj in 2003 and practiced panchakarma. This led to a decrease in her pain.

Ayurveda is all about the science of life. With sufficient knowledge about it, you can guide yourself to a healthier lifestyle by keeping the balance of the three doshas in mind. Illnesses occur due to our way of living and the decisions we make. Ayurveda works in reducing the symptoms and provides relaxation in the best possible way.

Ayurveda is a science and if you want to explore this subject more, get enrolled at one of the Ayurveda schools.
Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jamie_P._Johnson

For instance, when you crack an egg shell open and pour the contents of that egg into a bowl and mix it, you actually deprive your muscles of the proteins you aim to get out of the egg when you ingest it. This is why egg whites play a phenomenal role of your daily diet.

Same thing goes for whey protein. The only difference between the two is the fact that whey is a milk based product. What makes whey protein an effective meal is that it's biological value compared to egg whites is greater. Basically, whey protein compared to egg white protein will absorb faster into your muscles.

This will in turn build and repair your muscles at a much more rapid rate. But think about it, if you ingested them both on a daily basis while working out regularly you would build the physique to die for.

Hmmm.... No wonder why phlegm began to settle in my lungs over time. After cleaning my room, I instantly noticed that there was a free-flow of oxygen. I can now breathe much better after the clean up.
But, that is not the point of today's story. The reason why I bought this topic up is to educate you on the common pressure from your peers. While I was at the gym, I began looking for 35 pound dumbbells to workout with, being that I was finished pumping 45's.

In the midst of me searching for the weight, a regular gym goer had a nerve to tell me "well, if you can't find the weight you are looking for then you might as well use something heavier". Who is he to tell me what I should be doing? Come to find out, he's just another one of the average "over-trainers" that totally disregard the fact that not everyone's body is the same.

After he said what he said, I ignored his information and continued to do what I knew I had to do. The moral of today's topic is to never listen to the advice of someone that doesn't sit right with you.

This is why it is one of the most important growth hormones on earth. Oh yea, and it gives you great looking skin also with daily exercise.

Creatine/Coq10: Most people lack the concept of Creatine/Coq10 which in turn makes them lose out on this essential substance. The role of Creatine/Coq10 is to energize your muscle cells which ultimately gives you that "expanded" look to your muscles. This is why it is not a good idea to ingest too much of it at a time. In the long run you will notice that your energy levels will be much higher.

BCAA's: I call this amino acid the "ripper" or "shredder" for good reason. It does just that and is pretty darn good at it! Because BCAA's are a broken down version of meat and egg protein, your muscular genetics will become different with daily use. What I mean by they will become "different" is that when you use a BCAA supplement, over time your muscles will become more dense and "ripped". These are the naturally occurring traits of BCAA's.

One of the most important points of aesthetics/bodybuilding to me is the fact that you have a decision as to what you want to feed your body with. This is why it is so important to gain a great education about this topic before you just jump into it with a lack of knowledge. Over the years, I made it my duty to not only thoroughly study supplements and their functions but to also test them out on myself and record my own progress.

It's true. One of the ways for this to happen is if you use prescription medications as well as pain medications such as Advil and Tylenol etc. Ingesting substances such as these will begin to counteract your efforts of getting in shape.

The second way to be sick on the inside is to over-train. Over-training will break down your immune system faster than you think. There is absolutely a fine line between what will help you and what will hurt you. If you take a good look at my earlier posts, you will find that the health products I recommend are all drug free.

To make a long story short, the article mentions one of the most if not the most respected health enthusiast of all time.

Although it is pretty lengthy, I would recommend that you read the entire page even if you pick up from where you left off. There is some pretty important information stated within the article.

This mans name is Hippocrates. Hippocrates happens to be a personal favorite of mine because his take on strengthening the human body and prolonging one's lifespan lines up perfectly with the way I perceive this topic.
If you don't have enough protein within your body, a multivitamin becomes useless. You see, protein plays a huge part in how the human body functions. Protein is the foundation to how a vitamin of any kind works.

If you have a low percent of protein in your body and you take a vitamin, the vitamin will energize you only but so much. It can work more efficiently when protein is involved. I don't know about you but I do have faith that there is a cure for cancer. I also believe that the medical industries know good and darn well that there is also. Ever since I have been making my own decisions on my well being based on research and testing, I have been living a life healthier than I ever thought possible.

Now, I never had cancer before, I am not saying that. What this post is about in particular is about my opinion that there is a cure for virtually every disease. A particular product called the black cumin seed is revered by many as well as almost never mentioned if at all within the medical industry. You should check it out and consider trying it out for yourself.

WARNING!: The product mentioned below is a powerful immune system booster. After use, you may experience symptoms such as diarrhea (as a sign of your body cleansing itself of harmful toxins) and/or instant vitality.

Right after taking just two 100 milligram softgels I was able to do two extra sets of push-ups than I used to.

Mind you, I always knew about the versatility of coq10 through the extensive research I did about it. After the exercise I went down to stop and shop to purchase a few protein bars. In the process, people all over the place were looking at me like I was mentally unstable. I simply looked at them and giggled at the looks of their faces. While on my way back home,as I walked past a woman and her man the woman had the nerve to laugh at me as if I was a fool.

The ironic part about it was the fact that this woman had a fat gut and was totally out of shape. That's what had me laughing. Little do these people know that after I take off this training gear, their laughs will soon turn into jealousy. Jealousy of the fact that I look great in the clothes I wear. This is a lesson I once mentioned before. Focus on getting into shape no matter what the cost and at the end, people will see you in a different light.
