I am way excited about the heart wreath embelishment!! Embellishments can be so expensive and mine didn't cost me a single cent!! Well only because I already had the supplies :) Want to know how to make one of these??? Well because I love all of you I will tell you :) Find some card board. A old cereal box will work. Trace a heart on your cardboard, cut it out and fold in half and cut a pinch into it and then start cutting the inside of your heart. Last but not least! Take some yarn and wrap it around your heart. Use a glue gun to adhere the ribbon. For the roses trace a circle on a piece of felt, cut it out, and then last but not least cut a spiral around the circle until all you have left is a tiny circle. Roll up the spiral and glue onto the tiny circle that is left. Does that make any sense??? I really should do a video or something. HAVE FUN!!

I found this mini album in the clearance section for $5!! What a deal :)

Embossing is fun! :)

I am really starting to love my Cricket a lot!! Now that I'm starting to understand my Cricket, I am starting to love it more. I am really excited about these pages that I have created. It's nice to see some improvement in my pages as I continue to create them. I think this one is my favorite!! I love the flowers that I made from my Cricket!!
I really like the paper clamp on this page!!
I love the flowers that I used on this page also. I also like the circle and the little strips of paper poking out of the picture.

This layout was really hard for me to make!!! Every time that I kept adding something new to it, I kept thinking, oh this looks bad!!! This is not going to turn out the way that I want it to. I think in the end of it all it looks pretty good!!

Be My Valentine

2008-05-18T16:54:00.000-07:00

So I made this layout of Emma, using pictures from Valentines Day. After I had finished with the page and asked Adam what he thought he looked at it and said, "Wears the red and pink in it?" Great!! I didn't even think of that!! But I told him it does look like a Valentine's layout because of the flowers and the old fashioned look to it. What do you guys think? Anyway, it's all done with, so all have to live with the way it looks. Even if it doesn't look like a Valentine page. I hope you guys like it!! Maybe all end up changing it. Who knows.
