Uday Chopra, the younger son of Yash Chopra confirmed on twitter, ‘launching my dad's film today with a little pooja at YRF... shoot starts tomorrow with @ iamsrk and Katrina Kaif.. Dad directing after Veer- Zaara (sic).’

Shah Rukh Khan set to romance for the first time Katrina Kaif, the reigning box office queen in a film to be directed by the doyen of Indian cinema Yash Chopra.

The film is going on the floors this week and the production house as well others are excited about the event, mainly because Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan’s ex, is going to romance SRK, the friend-turned-foe of Salman.

The excitement in the production house is palpable as Yashraj Films have not seen directing the veteran filmmaker for last seven years after he was done with ‘VeerZara’.

Music for the film is being composed by A R Rahman and lyrics will be penned by Gulzar.

Anushka Sharma, who had made her debut with SRK in an earlier Yashraj f lick, will be playing an important role in the movie.

Sources from the set of the Yashraj flick reveal that Shah Rukh Khan, being not in mood to get into any trouble, asked Katrina directly this question about Salman Khan.

When Katrina explained to him that Sallu was only a good friend and did not have any say in her professional life that SRK was convinced about the whole issue and could ready himself to shoot with the firang babe.

With superhero films like Ra.One and Don 2 failing to make a big impact on the box office, it's back to square one for SRK to do romance films now.

Paoli Dam Does Bold Scenes In 'Hate Story'

2012-01-06T04:03:00.000-08:00

New Delhi, Dec 13: Paoli Dam didn’t have any inhibitions doing bold scenes in ‘Hate Story’, says director Vivek Agnihotri, who is launching the Bengali actress in Bollywood with the film.

A well known name in Bengali cinema, Paoli walked the red carpet at the Cannes film festival earlier this year for the premier of her film ‘Chatrak’ (Mushrooms).

The film courted controversy because of her full frontal nude scene.

“For ‘Hate Story’, I was hunting a young woman who could meet two basic criteria - she should be an accomplished actress and she needed to be uninhibited about her sexual energy.

“It was during this hunt when I came across Paoli’s name. When I read out the script to her she immediately agreed to the bold scenes that are an integral part of the film,” Agnihotri told PTI.

‘Hate Story’ is being written and produced by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, who is known for his films like ‘Jism’, ‘Murder’ and ‘Kasoor’.

Kim Kardashian Strips To Test If Pal Is Gay

2012-01-06T03:53:00.000-08:00

London, Jan 2: America’s hottest TV star Kim Kardashian stripped to her bra in front of pal Jonathan Cheban to check whether or not he is a gay, reports Daily Mail.

The report said, any red blooded male would have struggled to avert his eyes, but Jonathan compeltely averted his eyes.

The 30-year-old TV star was in the closet of her New York hotel and decided to carry out the ‘test’ after Kris Humphries gets her thinking about her friend’s sexual orientation.

Kris is convinced PR guru Jonathan is homosexual - and tells him as much - but Kim is not so sure, saying they have never talked about his private life before.

The results of her little striptease - which aired last night in an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York - are inconclusive, however. Jonathan averts his eyes when she strips to her bra.

But later Kim tells Kris: ‘I got changed in front of him to see if he would look but he didn’t.’

However, she concluded, he could have just been being polite and courteous.

During their closet encounter, Kim quizzes Jonathan about what he looks for in a partner.

He jokes: ‘Light skinned, big ass,’ to which Kim jokes back: ‘What if we are in love with each other.’

Later, in an apparent bid to prove he is straight, Jonathan goes on date with woman.

Kim and Kris meet her at his home before they go out - where Kris again asks Jonathan about his sexual preference.

While Jonathan remained rather elusive about his sexual orientation, he apparently wanted to prove conspiracy theorist Kris wrong, whose suspicions were alerted after accompanying Kim and Jonathan on a trip to a candle shop.

While Kris sat their looking bored, Jonathan appeared to enjoy perusing all the scented products on offer, which Humphries finds odd.

Whatever the case, Jonathan was last week spotted in Miami soaking up the sun with a mystery brunette where they put on an affectionate display.
