I just wanted to touch base with you guys. I've been very busy with work and life and I haven't had a chance to finish the latest podcast but I will tonight and i hope to have it up as well. Hey guys,

I have decided to fork over the cash to get my old domain name back but someone has gotten it to try to squeeze some cash outta me. Well, I refuse to do that so they can keep it. I may take a day or so for it to become active but it should be working soon. Bookmark it and change your email address books to reflect the new email addy below.

I have a new domain name for the podcast now.

Only thing that's changed is .com to .net i figure it works for the Ten Club, it'll be good enough for me.

UPDATE: New web address is working now. Thanks to Mark for giving me the heads up.

Hey guys,

It's great morning here in Austin. It's gonna rain for sure but the temperture is around 72. I alot of great bands today including Th B52's, The Toadies and of course, Pearl Jam. I will giving a full report on the show on Monday. We've decided to drive back after the show to San Antonio.

BTW, got some great audio of the taping and I will be featuring some of it on the next podcast. it should be one on the best shows i'll do. Great Between the songs portions that's for sure!!! Check out my facebook page for pictures of today.

In honor of my 29th...eeeerrrrr. 32nd.... errrr... whatever... birthday, I won't be doing a podcast this weekend. I will however be doing a SPECIAL ACL edition podcast early next week and I will be posting pictures on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/giventocast). I will be in Austin early Saturday and will being at the PJ simulcast viewing, on 6th street that night and at ACL Festival all day Sunday. If any of you are gonna be at any of these places, look for me. I'll be the guy in the GIVEN TO CAST T-Shirt. I will be wearing the UT ORANGE t-shirt on Sat. and a brown, tan or lt. blue on Sunday. Austin City Limits SIMULCAST... who's going?

Hey guys,

Just want to let everyone know, I'll be at the Pearl Jam SIMULCAST of the taping of Pearl Jam on ACL TV show(airing Nov. 21st - check local listings). I will be there around 5 or 6 to get into the auditorium for a good seat. I'm hoping to catch a few of you dedicated PJ fans to get your comments on the taping. I will be giving a FULL report of the weekend events on this site and on a upcoming podcast. I'll be wearing a "Given To Cast" t-shirt. If you see me, come up and say "hey, are you that dude..." Here's the info. about the simulcast:

Simulcast of Pearl Jam Taping

Austin City Limits will tape a performance by Pearl Jam on Saturday, October 3. Our studio capacity is too limited to meet the demands for this taping and we didn’t want our loyal blog readers to miss out on it so we’re video streaming the live recording direct from our studio to fans in the Hogg Memorial Auditorium.

We’ll be giving away tickets to the simulcast at noon on Friday, October 2, at KLRU-TV (map to KLRU ). Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, four (4) per person limit until supplies run out. We’ll be giving away more than 400 tickets to the simulcast, so bring your friends.

Remember, this is not to the studio taping, but to the simulcast party. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the screening will start at 8 p.m. Hogg Memorial Auditorium is located on the University of Texas campus, directions here .
