What is genre

2010-10-12T03:12:00.000-04:00

Hey all this blog has been mostly identical to the Stereo Parkway blog and other social media, but this is the MATT HAISLIP blog. So I'm gonna start doing more of what I want and talking about what I want are we cool... Great!

I was thinking about our genre its been extremely tough tough to place I always get asked what kinda music do you play. I am always left explaining a mix of progressive, hard rock , metal , acoustic ,and some edgy pop. However this is a mouthful to explain. Any suggestions...

Bad News Everyone

2010-10-02T22:43:00.000-04:00

Unfortunately the rhythm section of the band has decided not to go forward with the project. This has come as a great disappointment especially because we have been looking for so long. However we are in contact with other people at this time and are still looking to go forward. As you know we have 14 songs that are completely written and WE WILL BE RECORDING whether we have a full time band or not. Andrew and I are not slowing down for anything so keep checking back for updates and new tracks also give us a shoutout and join the fanclub at stereoparkway.com and we will send you exclusive tracks and some other cool stuff as it becomes available. Thanks everyone and keep rockin.

FIRST FULL BAND PRACTICE

2010-10-01T01:08:00.000-04:00

So as you already know Andrew and I have been hard at work writing material over the past few months. Recently I have gotten into contact with a bass player and a drummer met up with them last week and now we are all getting together for a full practice. We absolutely will be recording as soon as we can and starting to play local venues. Check on stereoparkway.com stereoparkway.blogspot.com and wherever else you can find us for new developments and stereo parkway news and merch.

Also I'm gonna start posting more here including some of the gear I use currently, comment this post for stuff you would like to see.
