Different AdSense Terms

Clickthrough rate (CTR):
The number of ad clicks divided by the number of impressions for the page of ads that appears when a link unit is clicked.

Effective CPM:
From a publisher's perspective, the effective cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the eCPM would equal $180/45, or $4.00. However, please keep in mind that eCPM is a reporting feature that does not represent the actual amount paid to a publisher.

Page Impression:
A page impression is generated every time a user views a page displaying Google ads. We will count one page impression regardless of the number of ads displayed on that page. For example, if you have a page displaying three ad units and it is viewed twice, you will generate two page impressions and six ad unit impressions.

Cost Per Click (CPC):
How much will you earn per click? This question is difficult to answer because it varies so widely. The CPC for any ad is determined by the advertiser. Some advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others, depending on what they're advertising.

Cost-per-click is based largely on supply and demand. If advertisers are willing to pay more for their ads, you'll earn more for each click. While it's nice to receive higher paying ads, keep in mind that higher paying ads may be aimed at a smaller target audience and therefore generate less interest and ultimately fewer clicks. For example, advertisers selling luxury homes might be willing to pay more than advertisers who sell books. Therefore, if your site is about luxury homes, the ads that display on your site might pay more per click than those for books. However, you might also find there's less interest in luxury homes than in books, thus offsetting the cost-per-click difference.

It's important to remember that we always show the ads that will perform the best, and the inventory of ads we choose from is determined largely by the topic of your website.

Effective CPM (eCPM):
Finally, while CPC and CTR are important factors in determining how much you may earn, you may find eCPM to be a more helpful statistic to keep track of your earnings. Earnings per 1000 impressions, or eCPM, is an estimate of how much money you would receive if you had 1000 impressions. For example, if you made one dollar with 100 impressions, your eCPM would be $10.00 ($1/100 impressions X 1000 impressions). Keep in mind that this is only an estimate; the more impressions you have, the more accurate the estimate will be. If you have only 10 impressions and you happen to make a dollar from those impressions, it's not realistic to think that your eCPM of $100 would be accurate. ECPM is an important statistic to help you gauge how well your site is performing.

If you want to make money with AdSense, then you have to put AdSense Ad in your website or blog. Here I'm going, how to Add AdSense Ad in your blog.

There are two process.

Process 1:

Go to your Dashboard or sign in

Click Layout >> Page Elements >> Add a Gadget

Click AdSnse from the gadget list

Change the Format, Colors and make it suitable for your blog

Click Save

You have finished the easy process of adding the AdSense Ad.

Process 2:

Go to www.google.com/adsense

Click AdSense Setup and choose which type of ad you want like AdSense or Content, AdSense for Search etc.

Click AdSense for Content >> Continue >> Continue >> Submit and Get Code

Copy the code

Got to Layout >> Layout >>Page Elements >> Add a Gadget

Click HTML/JavaScript from the new window

Paste the Ad code here

Save the gadget

In this process you can edit the ad code more than the process 1. Keep an eye on different editing option and make it suitable for your site

All of Make Money Online articles that are pulished before (1-4) showing how to make money. Now I'm Going to tell how to make More Money. There are many tips and secret tricks that will lay you more, Here I'm writing on The most important one. I'm saying it is "most" important, you may agree with me or disagree. It is my personal view.

We have a general tendency. We generally do not like to click Ads- but advertised site may carry important information about your interest. These site pay their money to Ad. So, if it is our general tendency, then how can we generate money from our site?

There are some tricks that brings your user into money, Ad placement is one of them.

Generally ads that is placed in top of left corner is visualised first and Right corner of the bottom is a blind area. You may also place you ad just before or after the title of your post. A good practice is to put ad within the post. Some time, heavy article brings important ad and user are compelled to click there as the ads are important too. You should use image ad and text ad and see which ad brings you more money. Create more channel and analyse the chaneel. It will help you to find out hotspot of you site. When you browse any site then see the ad style and by this way you will able to find out your own style. AdSense also help us by providing the hotmap.

This map shows you the hotspot of any site and beleive them, because it based on statistics.

Start Make Money With AdSense

AdSense is the easiest and most precise ad program to get started Make Money Online. It is als the cheapest one that I know. To make money, should set up a blog. Blog on Blogger platform are eligible for AdSense. You may also put AdSense Ads in your personal website. If you have a personal website (a website that belongs to you) and you do not know how to put Ad in that, then contact with your webmaster and start making money. Google will not pay only for placing Ads on your site. When some one will click on your Advertisement then you will get a commission. But it's our common nature to avoid Ads, we like to see Ads but hate to click it. So you should have apply some tricks so that some of your user will click and you will earn from AdSense program. In this article I'm going to write about how to create AdSense account and some general but important words on AdSense.

Create an AdSense account

In my last three article, I have write about make money online and how to start. So, you have a blog where already have 3 or 4 article. Now you are eligible for applying the AdSense program. Here is the process:

Go to AdSense

Click Sign Up

Fill up all the fields and tick the check box and then click Submit information

Here you will show the information that you provide. Change if you need or click the mark check box (in the pic) and click continue

Then you will a page that shows your application is in process and it will verify within 1 or 2 days.

After sign up, AdSense will take a few days to crawl your site and verify. After verifying you will get a confirmation email and then you can put adsense ads in your site. Generally there are two process for adding ad. You can Simply do this as:

Go to Dashboard >> Layout >> Page Elements

Click Ad a Gadget

A new window will appear. Click AdSense

From the AdSense window you can edit the Ad style as color, border, Text color, Ad size etc. Remember, you have not right to change the AdSense Ad code.

Save it

It may take about 10 minutes to appear your Ad in your site. It may appear instantly

Never click your Ad to test it. Follow Terms and Conditions stricktly

Ok, you done it. Now you need to learn some tricks that will help you to increase your money.

Introduction to Blogger Interface

If you are through Part 1 and Part 2 of Make Money Online article, then you know that it is possible to earn and you have a blog now. In this part I'm going to write about how to write good article with blogger writing interface to increase your traffic. It is also help you to increase SEO. This article has two parts. In first part I'll write about Good article and in second part I'll introduce you with blogger writing interface. Lets start.

A good article should be unique. But it is not possible to make a unique article in the age of internet. But you should follow the majority, those just copy and paste from internet. There are only a few percentage are writing genuine article. Before writing an article you should think about it, make a rough copy, mark important items, make a serial by serial delivery of your thoughts. A good article for blog may contain 300 to 450 words. It depends on the depth of importance.

If you are not writing novel in your blog, then you should write in journalism style. In this style, most important sentences are deliver in the first paragraph and in the last of the article, you may use some words to make it end. It will help you to keep remain your user in your site and they will read more article from your site. It will help you to increase traffic and as well as these articles may laid money.

You should use the title words within your first paragraph and make it bold. As I use Make Money Online. When search engine crawlers (a program that crawls your website to index it in search engine) then it will find the words. But never use it too many times (not more than 5). It is a good practice for SEO, it will bring more traffic from search engine and will off course help you to make more money online. You may bold the words so that user may see them at a first look and find that it is related to your title.

While writing you should think about your user, Think, what will you expect if you were a user of your site. Write to fulfill your necessity and elaborately. Don't put lot of unnecessary data-it will bother your user.

(6):Writing area: Write your article here.

(7):b:Used for boldform

(8):i:Used for italicform

(9):Insert link:Used for creating link (hyperlink)

(10):Insert blockquote:Blockquote tag

(11):Check Spelling: Check spell

(12):Add Image: Upload Image in blog

(13):Add Video: Upload video in blog. Maximum 10MB at a time

(14):Preview: Preview your article

(15):Label: Label your article

(16):Post Options: From here you can controll reader comments as well as backlinks

(17):Publish Post: Click to publish your post

In compose mode you will see some more text editing tools that are like ms-word and easy to handle those. So I'm not going to write about those.

So, start writing article. Publish 2 or 3 post. Then you can apply for Google AdSense and you will be able to Make Money Online through Ad program.

Create a Blog

You are interested and reading this article, If you are through the Part 1, then you know that it is possible to make money but if you start reading from this article then you should read the Make Money Online-Part 1

In this article I'll show you the process of creating a blog site.

How Create a Blog on Blogger.com?

If you read my first article then you already know that it is possible to make money online without having a personal site. You can make it through your blog on blogger platform. Today I'll show you how to create a blogger account. To create a blogger account:

Go to www.blogger.com

Write your email address under Username and write your password, then click SIGN IN (gmail is better for sign in)

Enter your Blog title in Blog title textfield (1), then enter blog address (your sites URL) and Check Availability (2). Then enter the words that is provided by the sites (3) and click CONTINUE (4).

Choose a template (1) and click CONTINUE (2)

Click START BLOGGING to start your blog. You have done it.

These pictures are not used to make the article long, but some novices really need these. (I hate uploading photo). As I said that you need no knowledge on technology, then I will help you to use the blogger interface through which you will able to write a good article. I'll also show you how to upload or make download link of an audio, video, software or how to write an article based blog as well as tutorial based blog.

Lets talk about Creating Blog. Before putting your url and blog title, you should think a moment about your blog title and url. You should find a suitable topic. This is called niche. Give some time to find a good niche that will help you to make more money. As I'm writing on "Make Money Online". You should find a niche on which you have knowledge or on which you are interested. Otherwise after a while you will find nothing to write. You should also give time to find out a proper url. In your url you should use your blog title. But it is ovious that if you are writing on a popular subject then url will not be available. In that case try use the same words in a different way. As example, when I'm going to check, http://makemoneyonline.blogspot.com, then it shows that it is unavailable. then I tried: http://make-money-online.blogspot.com-it is also unavailable. After some time I made a url with makemoneyonline and that is http://makemoneyonline-startnow.blogspot.com. So try some time to make your url. It will help you to get traffic and the more traffic the more income as there will be more chance to get click on your ads.
