Caffeine, Francesca

The sun is beaming bright and hard. Francesca feels her skin starting to burn from the sun. Caffeine, is covered with scarves and coated with the highest SPF sunscreen. After running away from the warehouse located in an industrial area, they stop look back. They see a woman running away from the building.

"Could that be…?" Caffeine asked.

"Sharalonda." Francesca answered but unsure.

"You better hope that she don't go to the police or bring any type of negative attention to our family," Caffeine warned.

"I'm not done with these people yet. You don't know what I have been through all these years of torment," Francesca said.

"Woman, it has been ages that has passed and you are holding on to school yard bully shit. Move on. It's a new day and look at you running around like Uma Thurman from Kill Bill," Caffeine said.

Francesca thought to herself, 'I don't care. They must pay.'

"Do you hear what I'm saying to you? Or do we have protect our family reputation by any means necessary, and you do know what I am talking about," Caffeine warned.

"I hear you Caf, loud and clear."

"Let's get out of here. Boy's let's go!" Caffeine summons her guards.

A Range Rover pulls up near them and they get inside. As they are riding down the dirt road, they see a woman with dust covering her clothes. "That's her, Caffeine! That's that bitch!" Francesca yelled.

"We just talked about this, Fran."

Francesca elbowed Caffeine in the nose without a second thought, climbed on top of her, and continued to punch her in the face. Caffeine feels helpless so she screams for the driver to stop, but under the spell of Caffeine, he was overwhelmed and kept driving but now faster. Caffeine feels the bruises on her face swelling and blood flows out of her nose. Francesca proceeded to choke her while kneeing her in the ribs. The Range Rover swerves left and right on the road throwing the two around in the back seat. The driver is out of control and the engine is revved up to it's full capacity.

An oak tree off the road brought the vehicle to a fast and hard halt. Francesca has a surge of energy while Caffeine lays defeated in the back seat. The driver of the Range Rover died on impact of an air bag and a tree branch that shattered the windshield and penetrated his lung. Francesca climbs over Caffeine and opens the door. With no injuries, she is free to pursue Sharalonda and continue to collect the rest of these parts. The parts that make up the torment that she suffered tremendously and affected her adult hood.

Francesca looks around to find her prey, but Sharalonda is nowhere in sight. Passing vehicles honk their horns as they are passing on the road but do not stop to help. She hears sirens in the distance, "somebody must have called emergency," Francesca mutters to herself. She walks through the wooded area not wanting to be seen by anyone so that she would not have to answer any stupid questions. As she is walking, the weeds are growing the size of NBA players and every other living thing is running rapid and loud at whatever noise that Mother Nature has provided them. This is driving Francesca more insane than she already is. She is fanning and slapping her face and body from flying insects and weeds that wrestles with her. She no longer has the energy to fight nor the visual to see where she is going. It is extremely hot and her skin sweating and she is beginning to feel tightness from the burn. Francesca legs collapses and she passes out right next her prey, Sharalonda.

_____________________________________________

Sirens blare and emergency workers voices are getting closer. She can hear them but her body won't allow her to speak loud enough. A whisper barely escapes her voice, "over here, over here". The tall weeds being chopped down and slowing grows back. One of the rescue workers asked, "What kind of plants are these? They just keep growing."

Meanwhile…

A stretcher carries the dead driver and another one carries Caffeine. "I'm okay! I'm okay!" She screamed. The EMS workers energy is surged from the spell and they are moving in a rapid pace.

"We need to take you in for observation. What is your name?"

"Caffeine, and I don't think that will be a good idea," Caffeine says as she tries to lift herself off the gurney.

"Caffeine? That's your name," the EMS worker asked unsure that maybe Caffeine just wanted some coffee.

"Yes, that's my name," Caffeine answered and the back of the ambulance door closed.

The further the ambulance drove away the weeds stopped growing. However, the ambulance and all the equipment were going haywire. The paramedics seemed confused and high at the same time. The medical equipment is malfunctioning and the emergency lights suddenly burst leaving broken glass on the road. An EMS worker shots Caffeine with a sedative once he got his balance.

"What is that!? What…is…that?" Caffeine manage to speak just before her body drifts to sleep.

Francesca vision blurred as if she is looking under water. She sits in the corner of a classroom. The teacher stands in front of the chalkboard, her mouth is moving but sound like men talking on CB radios. Francesca is snatched up and lifted out of the classroom; she looks up at the familiar men. One looks more familiar than the other does and she realizes it her father. He looks angry and takes no mercy on the 9 years old Francesca. She once again feels humiliated.

"Ma'am! Are you alright?" a rescue worker asked.

Francesca slowly comes to. She realized she had a dream and it made her feel small and powerless. When her eyes completely opened, she only had one thing on her mind and that was to kill Sharalonda.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you," Sharalonda answered.

"Why did you run all the way out here?"

Francesca slaps his hand from touching her. He was only trying to help her off the ground. "There was a girl here. Where did she go?"

"Oh the ambulance already took her to a hospital."

Francesca starts to growl and the three men looked at her with fear. She looks around at the men and tells them she feel faint.

"Boy's, let's get a gurney over here. What's you name lady?" the worker asked.

"Jaliska. My name is Jaliska Brown," Francesca lied.

Francesca lays on the gurney and the men transport her to the ambulance. "What's the name of the hospital were going to?" Francesca asked.

"Central State Hospital."

"Is that the same hospital that girl went?" Francesca asked.

"Were not sure ma'am. Maybe. Why? Was she in the vehicle that was involved in the accident or was it just the three of you?"

"She was in the vehicle too, she's my sister. Is she okay?" Francesca asked.

"Yes she was okay. She checked out of the hospital. She had no injuries and we couldn't keep her due to population. Maybe she's waiting on you."

The ambulance pulls up at Central State Hospital. Francesca jumps out of the back as soon as the doors opened.

"Jaliska! Jaliska Brown!" the worker yelled and looked confused.

SHH, ITT

Shy and Itt takes Robert advice and retreat to the apartment upstairs from 'What's The Skinny' pastry and bakery store. As soon as they entered the apartment, they flopped down on the sofa. They were tired from the days events and don't know what else is to come. Shy told Itt that Robert would be calling in 10 minutes. "I guess once my dad calls we can sort things out," Shy said.

"What type of things?" Itt asked.

"Well with the shooting, how long will they keep the store closed and stuff? And I haven't spoken with

Jordan

since I got here," Shy said.

"Oh, yea

Jordan

," Itt said rolling his eyes.

Shy ignores Itt and changes the subject, "have you thought about contacting Stacy?"

"I thought about it, but I really wouldn't know what to say to her."

"She's at your aunts' house Itt, in addition, she is getting her life together. I think you should call her."

Shy picks up the phone and dials a number. "Hey, how are you?"

"I'm good. I just arrived in New York for some business and I was gonna try to hook up with you. I got a surprise for you, but you have to wait. You and your friend will like it very much. I'll give you a hint, 'I was paying attention'."

"So not fair," Shy said.

"Well, such as life. How are you doing?"

Jordan

asked.

"Well…it hasn't been a great day…"

"Shy, you didn't cu…"

"No, I didn’t cut myself. It's a long story. When I see you, I will fill you in. When you said 'friend' did you mean Itt?" Shy asked.

"Yup, I did. But I will talk to you and you tell me how you feel about it, okay? No more questions; tomorrow, we get together and catch up. Tell Itt, I said hello. Bye Shy."

"That was

Jordan

, huh? What did he have to say about me?" Itt asked.

"He said hello to begin with, and he said he has a surprise for us," Shy answered.

"Us?" Itt asked surprisingly.

"Yes, us. He said it’s a surprise so I have no clue to what it is," Shy replied.

"Hmpt…yeah okay," Itt said with irritation in his tone.

Shy walks over to Itt, grabs his chin and looks him dead in the eye, "don’t be that way okay?"

"Alright Shy, with all that happened today, I will give you that. But he better not be pulling a fast one," Itt said.

"Shut up," Shy said and gave Itt a kiss on his lips.

The lock on the entry door started to unlocked, Shy, and Itt rushed away from each other. The door opened and there stood Percy. Percy walked in and looked at the boys. "What are you guys up too?"

"Nothing!" they both yelled.

"It's okay guys, I already know. I'm okay with it. You both are grown young men. Just be careful. I'm gonna go to my room and rest. Shy let me know when your dad calls, okay?" Percy said.

Percy walks inside the bright room and dive face down on his bed. He is confused about the days events and don't know what to make of anything anymore. Even though Layla betrayed him, he was willing to listen to her side of the story. He knows that she had information that could harm Robert and himself. He just wanted her to suffer a little for the betrayal but now she's gone and he is afraid that more trouble is brewing.

___________________________________________

A limo pulls up in front of 'What's The Skinny' bakery. The back door on the passenger side opens and there steps a pair of black Gucci loafers. "I'm already out!" he told the chauffer so that he didn't come around to open the door. "Just wait on me and I don't know how long I will be,"

Jordan

informed his chauffer. He looks up at the building and is impressed. The building has character, that old New York character is what he thought to himself. He rings the door bell.

"Who is it?" blasted through the speaker box.

"It's Jordan McQueen, Shy's friend!"

There was a bit of a long pause.

(INSIDE THE APARTMENT)

"Did he just say

Jordan

?" Shy asked Itt who is standing at the intercom.

"What is he doing here? I thought you said he wouldn't be here till tomorrow," Itt said aggravated.

"Chill with the jealousy, it don't look cute on you. Well I guess he decided to surprise us. Well don’t have him waiting, buzz him in," Shy said as he watched Itt walk away from the intercom. Shy walks to the intercom and pushes the speak button, "Sorry,

Jordan

, come on up…first door on your right."

"Itt, don't be rude," Shy warned.

Shy is sprucing up the apartment while Itt sits with his arms folded. They can hear the footsteps coming up the stairs. Shy opens the door and sees

Jordan

's figure through the glass-frosted door that separates the staircase. The door opens and Shy couldn't contain his happiness as

Jordan

's face appears. He runs up to

Jordan

and gives him a tight hug.

"Surprise!"

Jordan

said with a big grin on his face.

"You said tomorrow?"

"Well, this is big and I couldn't wait. It seemed as if you could use some good news, so hear I am."

"Well come in. You remember Itt?" Shy asked.

Itt walks over to

Jordan

and extends his hand, "Hi,

Jordan

"How are you Itt? Good seeing you again. Well listen guys I have great news for the both of you,"

Jordan

said.

"Both of us?" Itt asked surprised.

"If you both have a moment and ride with me someplace and we can discuss,"

Jordan

said.

"Who is at the door!?" Percy yelled from the bedroom.

Shy told

Jordan

, "That's my dad's partner…I mean his business partner."

"It's

Jordan

. Percy, a friend of mine!" Shy yelled from the living room.

Percy raised himself up off the bed because he knew that the voice sounded familiar. Percy stands in the doorway of his bedroom and sees

Jordan

from the back. "Jordan,

Jordan

PB?" Percy asked with laughter.

Jordan

turns around to look at Percy, "Thunder? Thunder is that you? Man look at you, you are swole!"

Jordan and Percy embraced each other with hugs and stared at each other for a moment.

"Umm hmmm," Shy clears his throat.

Jordan and Percy breaks their stare, "Oh yeah, Shy, he is a friend of mine from way back," Percy says.

"Apparently." Itt said sarcastically.

"Yeah, we go way back (he grins at Percy). You go by Percy, huh?"

Jordan

asked.

"Yup, Thunder retired long time ago. So just call me Percy, my govna name, hahaha."

"You got it. So, what's going on? There is a lot of commotion outside,"

Jordan

asked.

"A friend of mine was killed today in front of the store, well somebody I thought was a friend," Percy answered.

"Aw man, I so sorry to hear that, that's serious. Are you guys okay? I mean is there anything I could do to help?"

Jordan

asked and was truly concerned.

"Well apparently she was a real bitch and had some shady shit going on and we believe that it's not over, so we don't know what to expect from here on out," Itt answered.

"Itt!" Shy said shocked at the way Itt was speaking.

"Sorry man, but that's the truth. It could have been either one of us and you acting all jolly because Grandpa is here. Yeah, I think I will call Stacy," Itt said annoyed and walked into Roberts' room.

"Sorry

Jordan

…" Shy said.

"No need. Maybe I should come by in a couple of days when things have calmed down a little bit. I am truly sorry about what's going on Percy. Shy, can I talk with you in the hall for a minute? You don't mind Percy?"

Jordan

said.

Jordan

walks out to the hall with Shy following, "Shy, are you truly okay? I know you don't need this type of stress with your condition."

"Honestly

Jordan

, I'm not okay. It just has been one thing after another and I just want normal, I want things just to be normal. I can't lie and say I haven't thought about cutting, but I didn't. It's times when I just want to be by myself but I feel that Itt needs me. He seems strong but I think it's all a front. He needs to speak to his mom and patch things up…"

"Look, here's the thing, in order for you take care of others you have to take care of yourself first, your mental health is very important. People don't realize how serious cutting can be and how dangerous it is. I know you want to help but just steer them a little. Don't try to take on other people problems, cause no one is going to take on yours. I want you to be careful. Come here."

Shy moves closer to Jordan and Jordan give him a big hug and whispers in his ear, "I will take care of all your needs but I need you to take care of yourself first."

The floor squeaked and they turned around only to see the back of Itt walking back into the apartment.

Jordan

cuts the visit with Shy, he realized that the actions Itt displayed leaves him in a awkward position. He is now rethinking the surprise for them both and only want to include Shy alone. But is Shy ready for something this big?

Jordan

Jordan

is more than pleased with the progress.

Percy and Itt is in the kitchen having small talk when Shy walks back into the apartment. "You need to call your mom," Shy said.

"My what?" Itt replied upset.

"Your mom! Your mom! Your mom! Cause that is what she is. You should learn to accept that. You have an anger problem and you have to work it out. It's not okay…point, blank, period!" Shy said annoyed.

"I told you…" Itt said.

"You told me what? It don’t matter Itt. You are going to let this anger ruin your life and think you gonna take me with you, I don't think so. You call her or you leave, today," Shy said.

With a chewed apple in his mouth trying to speak, "Shy that was kinda harsh." Percy managed to say.

Percy and Shy watches as Itt leaves the room, not muttering a word. "What?" Shy shrugs his shoulders to Percy, feeling a bit guilty that he may have hurt Itt's feelings. Percy shakes his head but don't say a word.

10 minutes later

"My aunt is on her way to pick me up. I'll wait outside," Itt said as he walks out the apartment with a duffle bag.

Shy gestured to stop Itt but Percy grabbed Shy's arm and told him to 'let him go'.

Tom and Jackie pulls up in front of the Robert's building. Jackie jumps out the car and gives Itt a tight hug, "Look at you, I missed you so much. This is my husband Tom. Stacy is at the house cooking your favorite meal. C'mon get in," Jackie said excited to see her only nephew.

"It's good to meet you Itt," Tom says as he drives off.

"It's good to meet you too. Jackie, how is my mom doing?" Itt asked.

"Itt, ahhh she is doing very good. She is always talking about you, how much she misses you. She can't wait to see her baby," Jackie said.

"Hmpt," Itt said.

The trio arrives at Tom and Jackie's. Itt's heart is racing rapidly. He don't know if he should be upset, mad, angry, happy, or whatever. He stands on the porch watching Tom and Stacy enter the house. He hears in the distant, 'where's my baby? Where's Itt, did he come?' Itt knows that the familiar voice is the lady that once betrayed him, stole from him, and made him inherit the anger that boils in his blood.

Itt stands on one side of the screened door and he sees a lady with an apron on the other side. He barely recognized the healthy woman. Tears raced down her face as the creek of the door opened. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. She drops the kitchen towel from her hand and grab the baby boy to whom she gave birth to 20 years ago.

In a broken whisper, "momma, momma, momma," the two embraced which seemed like forever.

"My baby, I'm so sorry. I think that’s the first time you every called me momma," Stacy cried.

They pull away from each other and stare. "Happy Mother's day, mom," Itt managed to say and he felt a rush of happiness with a mix of forgiveness in his heart.

The Next Day…

Jordan

driver is blowing the horn of the limo, "Shy come down!"

Jordan

yells.

It is 8 am and Shy haven't even been up to brush his teeth nor wash his face, "What's going on out there?"

"SHHYYY, your gran-pa is down stair making a bunch of ratchet!" Percy said while still waking up annoyed.

"He's not my gran-pa. Oh shut up man," Shy said as he ran to the front window.

Jordan

, what are you doing? It's 8 o'clock in the morning!"

"Well, you need to make a move on it Mr. CEO of your own company of what ever you want to name it," Jordan said in excitement.

"My WHAT?!" Shy yelled.

"I told you Shy, I was paying attention. You earned it,"

Jordan

said.

Percy rolls out of the bed, "own company?" he says under his breath and runs to the window in disbelief.

CAFFEINE, FRANCESCA

The warehouse was drafty, damp, and felt weirdly deserted. The silence of no human, but many noises of air circulation, water drippings, and an occasional squeak from tiny rodents, namely mice, echoed the building. The pair walked in a bit frazzled and couldn’t understand their condition. However, neither would let the other in on what thoughts pondered in their head. Francesca stopped walking, stood and listened. Caffeine was a few steps ahead not realizing that Francesca wasn't besides her, so she too stopped. Caffeine turned around to look at Francesca, "what is it?"

Francesca stood in silence "shhhhh, somethings not right."

Caffeine didn't contest her cousins feelings because she too had the same thought. "Well this is your warehouse, correct?"

"I had a strange dream the other night about a dead man coming back and in my dream I felt a feeling I kinda feel right now. Somebody is here," Francesca said in a low tone and surprisingly nervous voice.

"You think a dead guy is here, Fran?" Caffeine said sarcastically.

Caffeine turns around and continues walking, "well if it is, us standing in one spot ain't gon make the bastard leave. We need to get this girl out of here. Whatever beef and grudges you got, you have to let them go. There is bigger fish to fry and our family would not be happy to know this is what you are spending the money on, better yet, your time. You have always been a bit off, you know?"

"Caffeine, who spilled the beans? Who snitched? The last person who messed up ended up splattered on the streets of New York. Tell me or I…"

"OR YOU WOULD WHAT!" Caffeine yelled causing gas and water pipes to burst.

Francesca jumped out of fear. Her eye lit up and she sternly looked passed Caffeine.

"You bitch, see what you made me do? Don't ever threaten me. Now we have to hurry and find that girl and get out of here."

"I think I just saw something," Francesca said.

"I don't have time for distractions for your hallucinations. C'mon, take me to the girl, NOW!"

Francesca and Caffeine runs to the room where Sharalonda's held captured. "She's gone!"

"GONE!" Caffeine yelled causing walls to tremble, "You're in trouble. Let's get out of here."

CARLA/ROBERT

In a rapid pace, Robert luckily is catching all the traffic lights at green. Carla grips the armrest, as her fingers turn white from the lack of circulation. Brandy sits quietly in the back of the car, confused of what just happened.

"Robert!" Carla yells.

Robert seems to be in a trance and fear is masking his face.

"Robert! You just passed our street," Carla says.

"Dad, are you okay?" Brandy asks.

"I'm sorry…sorry. I just was trying to get as far away as possible. I feel like I had caffeine implanted in my head. I couldn't stay there and let anything happen to my family," Robert said.

The car pulls up into the driveway of Robert and Carla's home. The children, including Percy Jr. stands and starts to walk off the porch, happy to see Carla and with hopes that everything can get back to normal.

"Mommie, mommie!" the children cried with happiness.

Carla sits in the car and didn’t even attempt to open her door. Robert and Brandy got out the car. Robert proceeded to remove his wife belongings from the trunk and he looks up at his children faces. The children seemed disappointed that their mother wasn't ecstatic to see them. Robert signals Brandy to come help with the bags and he walks to the passenger side of the car, grabs the handle and opens the door.

"I know honey that you may be feeling overwhelmed but look at your kids. They are so happy that you are ok and they couldn’t wait for you to get back. You want to get out the car?" Robert said.

Carla lifts and places her right foot on the ground outside of the car. "Where is the red carpet?"

"What was that, honey?" Robert asked.

"What was what?" Carla answered confused. Carla looks at her children faces and it enforced her to smile so big that everyone mood was instantly lifted.

"All my babies, I missed you guys so much!" Carla said as the children ran and gave her hugs and kisses.

Robert looks at the happiness that surrounds him but feels that it will not last forever, but he won't ruin the moment, instead he decided that the family needs to celebrate. But first he needs to make a call to New York.

TOM, STACY, JACKIE

"I'm happy you got your parent's to sit. When you contact the beyond, it is very risky and children should not be around unless it is directly affecting them. (She lights several black candles) I want you to open your minds and try not to be doubtful," Ms. Sandwood said looking at Tom and Jackie.

Tom and Jackie looked at each other and grabbed each others hand. Both set of hands were clammy. Ms. Sandwood requested Stacy to stay in another room unless she is requested. The house is warm and comfortable, not a home that you would think some entity was haunting.

"There is a lot of love between the two of you," Ms. Sandwood said and closed her eyes.

"Honey, I'm scared," Jackie said.

"Shhhhhh. There is nothing to be afraid of. Just have good thoughts and relax. (Long silence) I don't see or feel anything. Are you sure these things, Tom?"

"I wouldn't have gone to the trouble if it hadn't," Tom said.

"You have three kids, yes?"

"No," Tom said.

"Yes, I see," Ms. Sandwood said seemly unsure.

"I see a little boy. How many times have you been pregnant?"

"I have been pregnant two times," Jackie said confidently.

"How many children do you have?"

"We have two kids," Tom said aggravated.

"There is another child presence that was in your home from the other side. Did you loose a child?"

Jackie looked at Tom with tears in her eyes and squeezed his hands tighter. "Yes, I did. I aborted a child a long time ago."

Tom snatched his hands from Jackie, "What are you saying? I knew nothing of this."

With tears streaming down her face Jackie mentioned that when she was young she was raped and her mother made her abort the baby.

Stacy, with her ear to the door, eavesdropping, is in shock. She had never heard of this either and they grew up in the same home. How did she not know about her sister being raped and pregnant?

"This child is protecting you. Have you possibly seen him?"

"The night of the black out I have seen a child…but so much was going on," Tom said.

"He is protecting you. He says he is protecting you from his bad father. He is chatting, it, it, it, it, it. Does that mean anything to you?"

Stacy opens the bedroom door and walks into the room. "It, is my son. Could that be what this child is saying?"

"Have a seat, dear," Ms. Sandwood tells Stacy before rubbing ash on her face.

"He says It is his brother," Ms. Sandwood tells the group.

"That's impossible!" Stacy yelled.

"No, Stacy it isn't. It's the truth. Itt is his half brother slash cousin. I was raped by Charles when I was 9 years old going on 10 and I kept it a secret. Mommie found out I was pregnant when she found blood in my panties and took me to the doctor. At first, they thought it was just me starting my period, but I had already started a several months before. They gave me a pregnancy test and I told mommie that Charles had been raping me and that’s why I had the gun, the same gun that shot him in his, well you know," Jackie told her sister and the group.

"In his dick." Stacy said, remembering the day that her mom and Jackie went to the hospital and Jackie didn’t come home until three days later but never knew why.

JANET

"You got that stupid grin on your face; don’t you know you could have killed that nurse?" A security staff member says from the institution.

Janet is confused as the security is placing handcuffs on her. "They told me I don't have a baby no more. What happened to my baby?

"You have been having bad dreams since you been here. That medication got you really messed up," a nurse says.

"Come on lets go," a guard says as they shuffle Janet up off the floor.

"Where are you taking me?! Get your black hands off me! I demand to be treated with respect! Do you know who I am?! Let me go!!" Janet cried putting up a fight the whole journey to the solitary cell.

Janet sits quietly in her cell thinking about what the nurses said. 'Was I dreaming this whole time?' 'Or they think because I'm in a crazy house I am incapable of taking care of a child?' 'Did I ever escape to Laurens house and try to kill her and Tracy?

The thoughts and ideas that swimmed through Janet head is making her more anxious and more bewildering that it puts a great fear into her. Janet is so used to being in control and now that has been taken away from her makes her anticipate what's to come.

"I have to get this together. I can't go on like this. I miss Jon and wish that I didn't take him for granted. How did I let this get so out of hand?"

Janet sits quietly in her cell contemplating a plan to get her life back in order. She start a list in her head and it is determined that she will climb back to the top.

PERCY (Thunder)

Percy sits in his office with tears streaming down his face. Shy and Itt stands and watch in the doorway, not knowing what to say. The bakery closed for the remaining of the day due to the tragic events. The crowd out side the bakery is slowly dissipating. You hear police radios and sirens muffled that constantly reminds Percy of Layla's death.

"Percy, is there anything you want us to do?" Shy asked.

Percy responded by throwing his hands up and shaking his head 'no'.

"C'mon Shy, lets leave him alone for a while," Itt said just before the telephone starts to ring.

"Hello?" Shy answered.

"Hi son, how are you?" Robert said.

"Hi dad, I'm okay, but Layla is dead (Shy said whispering). She was shot and we don't know what happened and who did it."

"Listen, I want you to go, you and Itt, go upstairs to the apartment and sit there until you hear from me again. Where is Percy?"

"Dad, he is really broken up about it."

"Shy, put him on the phone and do what I tell you. Call me back in 10 minutes."

Shy taps Percy on the shoulder, "it's my dad. Me and Itt is gonna head upstairs."

Percy grabs the phone, "Hey Robert," he says and take a deep breath.

"Hey Percy are you okay?"

"I'm find Robert, I just never saw anything like that before in my life and it's my fault. I'm the reason she was here in the first place," Percy said while blowing his nose and wiping his face.

"Don't blame yourself, Percy. She had alternative motives. I don't know what happened there but I'm sure we will get to the bottom of it. I have to tie up some things here and I will be back in New York. We have to do some damage control," Robert said before noticing Carla in the doorway. "I'll call you later," Robert said and hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Carla said standing in the doorway.

"It was Percy. I was just checking on the store," Robert said as he walked pass Carla.

Carla looked at the phone and turned and watches Robert continue down the hall. She walks to the phone, picks it up, and pressed redial.

"Hello," Percy answered but sounded like a weeping woman.

Carla quickly hangs up the phone and thinks to herself, 'Robert is having an affair with some woman in New York while I lay up in a hospital bed, well two can play at that game'.

Episode 32

2012-01-30T22:49:00.000-05:00

On a large land filled with some of the rarest plants that would not grow on any US soil sits a house, no a manor, painted a glossy black. On this manor the windows are tinted a incredibly dark black and the vehicles that parks in the designated areas are a series of dark colors like black, navy, or a rich dark plum. Upon entering the manor, you will need some sort of light. The manor is designed to have no light fixtures and the only source of lighting is candles and whatever amounts of sun that creeps in if lucky. The manor measures about 10,000 square feet and is decorated in the finest furniture imported and domestic, of course in dark colors.

She parks her vehicle and has her hired help take the batteries out, because the vehicle will not shut off unless they are unhooked. She has taken them to get service and no one can figure out why they would not stop running. She likes to drive herself because in the past her drivers always gets pulled over for speeding tickets and they can't seem to help themselves. She knows she is the rationale for these odd things. Cursed and blessed, her name is Caffeine. Everything that is around her is up, elevated, upbeat, and ultimately awakened to a 'sometimes'-extreme degree, the reason for her name.

Every one is running around as she barks her orders as she walks inside her manor. An Ema Savahl dress is what is layering her slender frame, and what skin does show she wears a strong layer of sun protector.

"I guess I need to save her from herself, again. This is not what our family is about, and I would not stand for her to ruin our family name. If anyone needs to be a villain, yours truly will take the title. So cousin Francesca needs to sit her ass down," Caffeine tells the snitch on the phone just before hanging up.

PERCY/LAYLA

The line never seems to end at What's the Skinny bakery. Percy is handling the register while Itt and Shy is learning the recipes in the kitchen. Layla stands at the counter pleading to speak with Percy. Percy does a good job ignoring Layla but she will not give up. Layla has a look of desperation in her eyes as if she is afraid for her life.

"Thunder, I'm so sorry. I really messed up. I don't want to talk in front of all these people, so can you please just promise that we will talk soon so that I can explain everything to you," Layla said with watery eyes.

Percy turns to Layla, "Layla, if you do not know by now I do not go by the name Thunder anymore. However, we can meet and talk, but I will call you. So don't come here anymore, you aren't welcomed," Percy said.

Layla manages to walk through the crowd to the exit door. (BOOM)! People duck to the floor and ground as screams cry out. Percy immediately jumps over the counter, running pass and steps on some people to run out the store to make sure Layla is safe. Percy opens the door so fast he didn't notice that he step right on Layla. Layla lies on the concrete with blood spilling from her head but manages to look up at Percy to say 'Fran is gonna kill Robert' her heart stops beating. Percy shakes Layla "Fran is gonna do what? Layla…Layla wake up!" A tear slowly forms in Percy eyes but never drops. Percy looks up and sees people frantic, some do not know if they should stick around to help or run in case there are more shots fired.

Shy stands over Percy, "who is she?"

"Go back inside and call 9-1-1. Don't come back out here!"

Itt grabs Shy shoulder as Shy reluctantly wanted to go back inside the store.

"What happened out there?" Itt asked.

"That lady got shot. Before she left the store she was speaking with Percy and they were supposed to meet later," Shy said.

Shy calls the police but before he hung up the phone, he heard sirens. Shy, Itt, and the customers gawked as the ambulance took Layla away. Another shot fired outside and everyone ducked or ran but the assailant was not seen nor anyone hurt.

ROBERT, CARLA, FRANCESCA

Robert stands in front of the automatic doors, they open, and he looks back because of the familiarity of the voice he hears call his name. 'What is she doing here', Robert says under his breath.

"Francesca?"

"Can I have a word with you? It will only take a minute."

Robert walks towards the red limo, the automatic doors close, he leans over to hear what she has to say, the automatic doors open and there sits Carla in a wheel chair, mouth taped, and being escorted out of the hospital by Francesca guards. Francesca looks passed Robert as she sees this woman wheeled out the door.

"That's not her you idiots!" Francesca yelled.

"Huh?" Robert said confused and turned around to see the guards standing still and looking stupid.

"Dad?" Brandy said with her head sticking out of the car window ahead of the red limo.

"What's going on here, Francesca? Were you here to pick up my wife?" Robert asked puzzled.

"Shut up and get off my door," Francesca said and open the door of the limo.

Francesca walks over to the woman in the wheel chair and snatches the tape off her mouth, "Who are you!?"

"Bitch, who are you? Why in the hell am I being kidnapped?" The woman asked angrily.

"Boss, we asked for Carla and they pointed her out," one of the guards said.

"I am Carla, but who in the hell…"

"You are sick, Francesca. Brandy, come with me…hurry!" Robert said before he and his daughter ran into the hospital.

"Go get them, you fools!" Francesca told her security.

"Hello, Fran…I see you are up to your normal stupid schemes again," says this divine female coming out of the hospital doors accompanied by the real Carla.

"You really thought you were going to take me and do 'who know what?" Carla said.

"Let me handle this dear. Francesca, where are you keeping the girl?" Caffeine asked.

"I don't know what you are talking about," Francesca said with fear.

"FESS UP!" Caffeine yelled startling all flying animals to flight. The hospital automatic doors remain open and the staff is abnormally moving at a rapid pace as if all of them are high off caffeine or there is some type of grand emergency.

"Okay, I'll take you but can you keep this between us?"

"You know everything is always on the up and up with me cuzzo," Caffeine said followed with laughter.

Robert grabs Carla and hurries her to the car alone with Brandy. "I don't know what is going on and I'm not sure I want too," Robert said and drove to their home.

The red limo and black town car pulled up besides, what looks like, an abandoned building. Upon opening the doors of the vehicles, the worn dirt that surrounds some parts of the building started to sprout weeds and grass. The lights inside flickered on and doors became unlocked. The two cousins walk into the building not saying anything to each other, just shooting each other with evil eyes.

JANET, TRACY, LAUREN

1 hour ago…

Janet, with a smirk, stands over Lauren's bed. Janet has not had any of her medications is feeling a little unusual. Conflicting feelings swarm her head as she stares. She can hear the television in the living room where Tracy is, the Steven King's It thriller is playing. Janet heart is pulsating at a rapid pace. 'Should I or shouldn't I? Lauren, the bitch stole my job and is too close to my husband; she has the life that I'm suppose to have, not locked up with a bunch of certified loony's. Revenge is a dish best served cold and this bitch deserves to HAVE HER FACE slashed. What about my little baby boy and how will he grow up if I'm locked away. Will Lauren take him too?' These are just some of the thoughts playing in her head.

Lauren lays still and her eye's slowly open but not wide enough where Janet can see. She don't want Janet to know that she sees her and afraid of what she would do if Janet does. Lauren continues to act sleep, rolls over slowly, and maneuvers her hand under the pillow beside her. Lauren swiftly grabs her 9mm Glock and sits up and points it at Janet, "don't try nothing stupid girl". Janet stabs the bed with the scissors missing Lauren by an inch. Lauren swings the pistol at Janet's head but misses. Lauren is now out of the bed, "Bitch I took you in and you try this with me?!" Lauren shot the gun in the air (BOOM). Tracy frightened by the noise, jumps up off the couch and run towards Lauren's room. "Hey!" Tracy called out.

"Tracy! Call the police! Don't come in here!" Lauren yelled she didn't want Tracy accidentally taken a bullet that is meant for Janet. The baby boy is crying at the top of his lunges and the house of full a chaos. "God is cruel, sometimes he makes you live. So I will do his honors," Janet said somberly.

"Put down the scissors girl or I will kill you. Think about your baby," Lauren pleaded.

"Me? Oh you are priceless Brat! I am eternal, child. I am the eater of worlds, and of children. And you are next!" Janet said quoting the movie as it plays on the television.

"You are some kind of crazy," Lauren said and pulled the trigger aimed at Janet's shoulder.

Janet grabs her shoulder and tastes the blood; leaps over the bed and the scissors puncture Lauren in her abdomen. Lauren hurls over grabbing her stomach and gets enough strength to fire another round at Janet as she is running out of the room with another bullet wound in her upper thigh. Janet, even with blood pouring out of her leg, runs pass Tracy and out of the house. Tracy runs in the room with Lauren. "Oh my God! Are you hurt badly?"

"Towel…towel…wet towel," Lauren said with pain in her voice.

Tracy calls the police while getting towels to help stop the blood from gushing out of Laurens' stomach. The baby boy continues to pollute the house with crying. "Hold that, Lauren. I'm going to check on the baby."

"Okay…but I'm going to kill that bitch when I see her (couching)," Lauren said.

"Try not to speak…I'll be right back," Tracy said and went to grab the baby boy.

(Glass shatters in Lauren's room)

Tracy, with the baby in his arms, runs back into Laurens' room. "What happen?"

"She just came to the window and threw a rock through it," Lauren said.

(Emergency sirens wake the neighborhood.)

"Here comes the police and ambulance. Make sure you keep that towel on there," Tracy said and ran to answer the front door.

Inside of the house, you hear the baby boy crying. Outside the home, you hear sirens and see flashes of emergency lights. "Shhhh, shhhhh, quiet baby," Tracy said while rocking the baby and answering the door in a bloody robe.

"Sir is the baby harmed in any way," a police officer asked.

"No, no I don't think so. Come in," Tracy said.

Two officers and four EMT workers enter Lauren's home. "Where's the body?"

Tracy points in the direction of Lauren's room. Tracy and the baby are now crying. An EMT worker asked to hold the baby to be checked-out. Tracy hands the baby boy to the EMT worker and goes to the kitchen to wash the blood off his hands.

"We need a statement. Can you tell us what happened?" the detective asked.

"It was Janet, Janet Capt…"

JON CAPT

It's 2 a.m., Jon and Hector walks inside of Jon's home. Hector looks at the nice marbled entryway floor and notice that it is soiled with dried clumps of mud. "You have animals? A dog perhaps?" Hector asked.

"No, just me…why?" Jon answered.

Hector points to the soiled floor. Jon looked at the mud and got an odd feeling. Jon ran to his back door to make sure it was lock and pushed opened the doors to the rooms on the first floor making sure there was no sign of any burglars. "Is everything okay!?" Hector asked looking around and now nervous himself.

"Umm…yeah…yeah…I think. Just…have a seat and…" Jon said before checking one more room in the house, the kitchen.

"Hi Jon," said the angelic voice.

"I thought that was you I saw. How did you get in my house? How did you get out of the hospital?" Jon asked not sure of what to think.

"Jon, I'm dead…I'm not really here. I'm a figment of your imagination (Janet starts taking off her clothes). Look at me; I still have some of the baby weight. Isn't it sexy too you," Janet said and hopped up on the granite countertop exposing her vagina with blood smeared on the surface.

"What happened to your leg? You're bleeding," Jon said nervously.

"Oh nothing, just a little bullet your bitch, Lauren, decided she got balls."

"Lauren? How…"

"Look Jon, it don't matter no more. Tracy and Lauren is a couple. When you called the other day, we were in a threesome. You've taught Tracy some good tricks Jon. Yes indeed. (She touches her vagina) How come you never gave it to me like that? Nevertheless, look at this Jon (points at vagina) I haven't had dick in a long time. It would be tighter if it wasn't for that God awful brat," Janet says while holding a butcher knife in her hand and now the umbilical cord in the other.

"DID YOU HURT THEM?!" Jon yelled.

Hector walks near the kitchen where the two were. "I called the police."

Janet jumps off the countertop and started to cut her hair with the butcher knife. "Oh yeah, Jon, I forgot you like boys. Is my hair short enough? I could use one of those strap on that Tracy used on me on you. Is that how you two fucked?" Janet said as her cut hair cascaded to the floor.

(Sirens blare)

Janet runs toward Jon and Jon moves out her way afraid to be stabbed with the knife, so instead the Chef Mate butcher knife penetrated Hector in his heart. Hector plummets to the floor.

"No! Janet!" Jon said running behind her as she approached the front door. Police apprehended Janet as soon as she opened the front door.

"We need an ambulance. There is a guy in the kitchen hurt," Jon said.

The police went to kitchen to check on Hector. They came out of the kitchen, "Sir, I'm sorry…he's dead."

Jon grabs a phone to call Lauren. "Hello, this is Jon. Janet just killed a guy at my house, she said she was there. I hope everything is all right. Please call me back," Jon said to Lauren answering maching.

Janet fought and cussed as the police took her to jail.

STACY, JACKIE

(BLACK OUT)

Tom and Stacy looks out the window at total darkness. The noise is loud like crowds in an amusement park. "I can't believe this, that truck just mowed them down," Tom said.

"What happened to the lights?" Jackie asked

"Daddy…daddy!" the kids cried.

"We just have a black out. I'm sure the lights will be back on soon. Just sit tight," Tom said.

"Tom, there is something you need to know," Stacy says.

"Well, what is it?" Tom said

"I think that Jackie is possessed," Stacy whispered.

"Tell me something I don't know. What I want to know is…by who and why?"

"Charles Romaine."

"The Charles Romaine, your pimp?" Tom said with anger in his voice.

"He was not my pimp, he is Itt's father and the man responsible for making me addicted to drugs."

"So what you are telling me is that you brought this into my house?"

"No…I think he just want Itt back here to control him like he controlled me…he's dead and he's crazy. This isn't something any of us asked for. I'm so sorry." Stacy said.

"Itt is supposed to be here in two days. What do you think is gonna happen then? We can't have him get a hold of that boy," Tom said

"That's why calling the police isn't going to help. We are going to have to call a medium or something, someone who can communicate with him… (Welcome brightness interrupts)Oh shit…the lights are back on," Stacy said.

The kids run and hug Tom on his legs, "daddy I was scared."

"There is nothing to be afraid of," Tom told the children looking down at them and then up at Stacy with anger in his eyes.

"I'll see what I can come up with," Stacy said and went to her bedroom.

"Tom! The lights are back on. Do you here all that commotion outside?" Jackie said walking out of the bedroom. "What happened? It is a mess around here."

"Honey, I will explain it to you later. Everything is under control right now and that's all that matters," Tom said keeping his composure.

There is knocking on the front door. Tom goes down stairs to answer hoping that it is not another neighbor. He don't want to bring more attention to their home than it already is. Tom opens the door and it is his parents.

"What are you doing out here this time of night?" Tom asked surprised.

"Tom we have been calling all night and we got worried so we dropped by. Is everything okay? It looks like some people are hurt in the street. Did cha know'em?" Tom father asked.

"Yeah we did, it looks like it was a hit and run. Hey come on in." Tom ushered his parents in as he gave them light kisses and hugs.

"Hey ma…"

"Granddad! Grandma!" the kids yelled running down the stairs.

"Come give yo Nanna some suga!"

"Tom is that who I think it is?" Jackie asked as she came down the stairs.

"Hello dear, how are you?" Tom's mother asked Jackie.

"Tom, I found a Medium…oh I'm sorry," Stacy said not expecting the strange couple in the living room that is staring at her with the rest of the house.

"Medium? Isn't that what that Dion Warrick lady is Tom? What do you need with a Medium?" Tom mother asked judgmentally.

Tom looked at Stacy as if she told the biggest secret and was very upset about it. "Mom, Dad, this is Stacy…Jackie's sister. She has been staying with us for a little while. I think she meant the TV show "Medium" right Stacy?" Tom said hoping that they would ask no further.

"Dear, it's nice to meet you…but why are you worrying about TV when something terrible has happened on your street? We had to park a block away and walk, and you know my arthritis," Tom's mom said rubbing her leg.

"You guys should not have come out so late…"

"Tom we tried to call…" Tom's dad said.

"It's dangerous…it's not like how it used to be," Tom said with much concern.

"Hey man, if I feel like something may be wrong in my son's house I'm gonna see about it. I don’t care what time it is and something is not right here. I can feel it Tom…but we will get out of your hair and go back home, but call me first thing in the morning. I get up early," Tom dad said while his eyes gazed around the house.

"Jackie has just not been feeling well so we will go to the doctor and see what's going on, but other than that everything is okay, the kids are okay," Tom assured his parents.

"Yeah I think I ate something," Jackie said rubbing her belly.

"Are you pregnant?" Tom's mother asked with a smile.

"Ok old folks…time for you to go. I will walk you to your car," Tom said escorting his parents to the front door.

FRANCESCA/ROBERT

"What the fuck?" Francesca said as she wakes up and starts to choke. "That was one fucked up dream."

Francesca calls her top security guard and asks him to check on Sharalonda.

"She's here, but she is sick as a dog," the guard says.

"Well get her some medicine," Francesca says and hangs the phone up.

Francesca does her morning ritual; showers, and calls in her wardrobe, and hair and make-up team. She is relieved that she can proceed with her collection now that that terrible dream is over.

She leaves her house and gets in the limo. "Take me to the hospital, I need to add to my collection," Francesca tells the driver.

___________________________________________________

"That is really messed up. She seemed like a very trust worthy girl," Robert said.

"I know Robert and I'm sorry I allowed her in our business. I actually was starting to feel something for her," Percy said.

"So you need to get back here to Minnesota, but somebody needs to run the store, and we have nobody. We are just going to have to close up the store for a little while till we work things out," Robert said pacing the room.

Shy stands in the hall eavesdropping on his dad and Percy's conversation. He walks inside his fathers' room and stands in the doorway. "Dad?"

Rob places his hand over the mouthpiece of the phone, "I'm on the phone, Shy."

"I know dad. Dad I can run the store. Let me go to New York. Me and Itt can do it with his mom and…"

"Out of the question," Robert said.

"Robert, I can train them. That's not a bad idea…and Jackie should be there. Jackie is Itt's aunt you know…and she will keep them in line," Percy said.

"What is this…an Othella special?" Robert joked.

"What is he saying, dad?" Shy asked with a smile on his face.

"Pack your things, son."

Shy hollers out Itt's name, runs to his dad, and gives him a big, tight hug.

"Percy, I'll call you back. Let me tie up some loose ends and I have to go pick up Carla from the hospital," Robert said.

"Ok, talk to you later and tell Carla I said hi," Perce said before hanging up the phone.

"Thanks dad, I won’t let you down."

Itt runs to the room, "What's up?"

"We are going to be in New York together!" Shy said.

The red limo pulls up at the entrance of the hospital followed by a black van. "Boy's, she is in room 7112. Be quick and don’t look stupid," Francesca told her workers via phone in the black van parked behind her.

A blue Caravan pulls in front of the red limo parked at the entrance of the hospital. "Brandy, I won't be long. Aren't you excited about your mom coming home?" Robert asked his daughter.

"Yeah dad, I am," Brandy said.

Robert gets out of the Caravan and walks pass the red limo. He can't see inside because of the dark tint. However, Francesca sees Robert and her heart starts to race. Francesca powers down her window, "Robert?"

Robert stands in front of the automatic doors, they open, and he looks back because of the familiarity of the voice he hears call his name. 'What is she doing here', Robert says under his breath.

"Francesca?"

"Can I have a word with you? It will only take a minute."

Robert walks towards the red limo, the automatic doors close, he leans over to hear what she has to say, the automatic doors open and there sits Carla in a wheel chair, mouth taped…

Episode 30 on the 30th Devil's Night Special

2011-10-30T18:53:00.001-04:00

JANET, LAUREN, TRACY

Day 3 - @Lauren's

It's the night before Halloween. A wrap yourself up tight in a warm blanket night. Stars light up the sky and the winds are cool and strong, normal for this time of the year. The red digital numbers on the clock radio reads 11:39. Forces of winds breaks the silence in the house and whatever the wind can carry beats up against the home, but not on purpose. In some parts of the country, this is called Devil's Night.

Tracy, a light sleeper, sleeps but is often trying to find comfort on the couch that he choose to sleep on; wakes up and walks over to the window. He hears the wind wrestling with debris and giving the house a whipping. He knows he isn't gonna get much rest tonight so he decided to watch television. He turns on the television and scans the programming channel. "I don't wanna watch anything scary, I could tell you that", he says to himself. Tracy goes into the kitchen, pours a glass of pomegranate juice, and goes back into the living room. He sees the back of Janet's head. He really don't want any company at this time. He just wants to watch TV and fall asleep and let the TV watch him. He takes a deep breath and walk to the front of the sofa and sits, "Hey couldn't sleep?"

"No, do you mind if I watch with you?" Janet asked.

"Umm, yeah I actually do. No offense," Tracy said looking at Janet curious about her reaction.

"None taken, (baby cries in the distant) awe man. The baby is crying," Janet said.

Tracy sits staring at the TV nonchalantly. Janet goes to the noisy baby, picks him up, "you hungry huh?" she says as she rocks the baby in her arm walking into the kitchen.

"Tracy, can you help me out? Can you heat up his bottle?" Janet asked.

"Janet. That is your responsibility. Your baby…figure it out. You are going to have to learn to do things by yourself. We are doing enough by letting you stay here," Tracy said.

"Just this one time, please?" Janet begged.

Tracy took a deep breath and rose up off the couch. By his body language, you can tell he was highly annoyed. Tracy moves both sets of fingers to signal Janet to give him the baby boy while she heats his bottles.

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it," Tracy said sarcastically.

Lauren walks into the bright kitchen sheltering her eyes from the shock of the light, "good morning, it don't seem like I slept at all." Lauren plugs in the coffee maker and grabs her mug out the covert.

"Well that's because you just went to bed like an hour ago," Tracy said.

Lauren looks at the clock on the kitchen wall, "well that explains it. What's going on then?" Lauren looks at Tracy and Janet.

"Nothing. Just up with the baby (sigh)," Tracy said.

"Well excuse me…I am going back to bed. I have a long day tomorrow. Jon and I will be in meetings all day and I need to be bright eyed and bushy tail, good night," Lauren said and went to bed.

Janet holds and feed her baby while Tracy tries to watch TV in peace.

Janet walks over to the couch where Tracy sits and sits down, "you remember when we used to go out to lunch and had some of the best conversations and talked about our plans and dreams. You are going to be a big shot lawyer and dedicate your life to help the LGBT community and I was going to climb up the corporate ladder. I know I have put you through hell. When I was in that hospital I thought about those times a lot. I looked at myself and I didn't like what I saw. Tracy you are, well, was my only friend. You put up with stuff that no body else would and I thank you, and I'm sorry. We had good times too, and we had bad ones, thanks to me. I think he is sleep, well it was nice talking to you, Trace," Janet said getting up to put the baby back in his crib.

"Wait; come back when you put him in his crib."

Janet takes the baby boy to the bedroom and carefully places him in his crib, "slept tight little baby" she whispered.

Janet grabs a pair of scissors off the dresser and put them in her robe pocket. She walks towards Lauren's room and peeks inside the dark room. Lauren is sound asleep and the only like is from the red numbers on the clock radio. Janet slowly puts one foot inside the room and the other followed.

(15 minutes later)

- the door bell rings -

"Sir is the baby harmed in any way," a police officer asked.

"No, no I don't think so. Come in," Tracy said.

Two officers and four EMT workers enter Lauren's home. "Where's the body?"

"We need a statement. Can you tell us what happened?" the detective asked.

FRANCESCA

Francesca is in her security room looking at her first captured "part" on a security monitor. She is eating her favorite meal, her guilty pleasure, Popeyes Chicken. She rarely ate this meal because she is fixated on keeping her perfect figure and keeping her skin glowing like a bronzed beauty. Francesca is not much of a meat eater except when she is stressed; she always is weakened by the smell of Popeyes Chicken.

Francesca knows that she locked the door behind her. She would never let anyone witness her eating Popeyes Chicken. She hears the lock rattling and she starts to get a bit nervous and wonders why her security team hasn't called her. She tosses the food in the trash and calls out, "who's there!?" She doesn't get a response. She grabs her gun and points it in the direction of the door. "Who ever is playing fucking games with me I got something for you. So come on in my sweets. Let me penetrate you with lead if you please!" Francesca stands up against the wall not knowing what to expect. The door burst opens and she lays her eyes on what she thought was burnt or buried, he smiles as if he is happy to see his best friend, Francesca on the other hand looks as if she sees a ghost.

"Hello there, old friend? Wow, don't you look stunning?" he says grinning with rotten teeth.

"You bastard, you are supposed to be dead. How did you get in here?" Francesca says digging deep to keep her cool.

He starts to walk closer to her. Her backed is up against the wall. She lift her arm fires her gun at the assailant. The bullet hitting his shoulder does not faze him. He runs and puts his swollen hands around her skinny neck and squeeze. She grabs his wrists to pull his hands from around her but she doesn't equal or dominate his strength. She gasps for air, coughing and feels weak. He speaks with a deep old voice; "you are no match pretty lady" thick drops of saliva lands on her face and this totally disgust her. Francesca lifts her right knee and hits him between his legs. "Sorry bitch, but I didn't get that," he says as he tosses her around the small room.

"Aw, fuck. This isn't a fair match. This is no fun," he says and lets her go.

"You are a brave but (coughing) a stupid son of a bitch," Francesca says while grabbing her neck from relief.

"Aw, c'mon Fran, let's see what your daddy taught you."

Francesca breathing is heavy but she finds the will to get pass him and runs out the door. While in motion, she kicks off her Louboutin heels. Francesca passes the lab notices Sahralonda is not in the lab anymore and now no one is chasing her. She slows down, "WHERE ARE YOU? COME AND SHOW YOUR FACE. COME OUT YOU LITTLE BITCHES. YOU FUCKED WITH THE WRONG BITCH!"

She stands in the long hallway and the building is completely silent except for a few drops of water from leaking pipes. She feels warm air on her neck and a chain gripped by small hands and wrapped tightly around her neck. Francesca fights hard but not hard enough. She falls lifelessly to the floor.

"Thanks Charles," Sahralonda says as she stands over Francesca.

"You welcome (echoed in the building)," Charles Romaine the Third responded.

JON

Jon lays in his king sized bed; eyes wide open, listening to the wind gusting outside his window. He reflects on his life over the last couple of years. He remembers when he first got married to Janet and how happy he was to have someone in his life. Jon never imagined that on October 30, 2012 he would be laying in his bed alone and not sharing stories with someone he love. He thought about Tracy and the baby that he could have been raising and at that very moment, he could have been standing over him or her watching them sleep. He thought about how he was fooled not to long ago by a woman who said she was pregnant by him and wasn't, she was just out to get money. Jon also thought of how success has changed him. He has good days and he has bad ones. He thought about Lauren and his secret crush on her. He thought to call her to see how she was doing but he knew it would be strange especially at 11:40 at night.

Jon decided to take a night stroll because it don't seem as if he would be getting any sleep tonight. He dressed in layers because of the chill and wind but he knows the fresh air would do him some good.

After getting dressed, he locked up his home, and he walked a couple blocks to a park. It’s a beautiful park tastefully decorated for Halloween. Jon find a bench to sit on and gaze at the sky until he was interrupted by a homeless man, "Hello sir, I don't mean any harm, but do you have any spare change so that it could help me get a meal?" the homeless man said shivering from the cold.

"How about we both get a warm meal? There is a diner a block from here. Do you have time?" Jon kindly said.

Jon didn't seem nervous about the homeless guy approaching him. In fact, Jon seemed as if he really needed the company.

Jon stood and extended his hand out, "I'm Jon, by the way."

Accepting Jon extended hand the homeless man seems reluctant. He normally don't get this treatment from people, they normally just give him loose change and go about their business. Jon was different so took a chance, what does he have to loose? "I'm Hector," the homeless man introduced himself.

All you can hear is the buzzing noise that the light bulbs make when the energy surge through them. Jon and Hector found a booth and sat. Jon pierced into Hector's eyes while Hector look away. Hector felt weird, this isn't something that he is used too.

The silence was interrupted by the 50 year old something waitress who probably work their since she had her first born in the 9th grade. "What can I get you two?" She looked at a decent dressed Jon and then her eyes turned to Hector, who of course fit the profile of a homeless man. She looks back at Jon, "Sir, I'm sorry…is he bothering you?"

"No, he is my welcomed guess. Two coffees (he looks at her name tag) Shirley," Jon told the waitress.

"You do want coffee?" Jon asked Hector.

"Coffees find, thank you," Hector answered.

The two patrons exchanged small talk, Shirley stood at the counter looking at the two men wandering what they are doing with each other.

"Shirley, that coffee should be ready by now! It's been a few minutes!" Jon yelled aggravated that she is being so rude.

Shirley jumped from the shock of Jon's tone and went behind the counter to grab the coffee pot. She walks to the table and pours the coffee with a puzzled look on her face.

"What do you want to eat?" Jon asked Hector.

Hector told Shirley his meal choices and she leaves to fulfill her duties.

"So what happened?" Jon asked.

"Well I will make a long story short, Jon. I was married for 14 years to the most beautiful woman you could lay eyes on. She was so humble when we meet, but when I finished college, got my MBA, started to work in the corporate world and giving her the finer things in life, she changed. She started with plastic surgery, that she didn't need, and her attitude was really repulsive. Well she had it all planned out, she beat her self and made this whole story up about abuse. I went to jail; she filed for divorce and got my stocks, and money. HOWEVER, I know that God has a plan for me and I don't let it get me down. I here people say 'get a job' or 'we all are struggling' but they don't know is that I have hired people like them. I can't walk into an office building flashing my MBA with these clothes on. They never see passed the criminal record, that is false, or the outer appearance. They don't know my story. It can happen to anyone. So here I am, alone, no kids, waiting for a miracle," Hector told Jon.

Jon told him his story and the two really hit it off. Jon offered Hector a position at Unigrow and Hector accepted and in the meantime, Hector will be living with Jon until he gets on his feet.

Jon sees an image in the diner window and it looks like Janet. He jumps up and runs outside the diner.

"JANET?" Jon yelled. The image has now disappeared in the distant.

Hector walks outside the diner, "did you know her?"

"I think that was my ex-wife I was just telling you about," Jon said a bit startled.

"That's was a bit creepy," Hector said.

"I knew y'alls was crooks! Come back here or I'm gonna call the police!" Shirley demanded.

Hector and Jon looks at Shirley and shakes their head. "We weren't leaving, we just thought we seen someone," Jon said.

"C'mon lets get out of here," Jon said and paid bill.

SHY

Inside of the modern, but comfortable office, you only hear tic-tock, tic-tock in-between silence. Only 20 minutes left for this session and Shy feels that this might be his last since he hadn't cut himself in awhile.

"So since you become more comfortable in your skin you don't feel you need to cut yourself to numbness, well that's great. In addition, it's great that you have a good support system and those feelings that you felt about your family not accepting you isn't true. Your family loves you and want the best for you. Shy I want you to know that you will have people that is not comfortable and will try to make you feel bad about being you, so remember that you have to be strong and stay confident," the therapist, Dr. Emma said.

"Well I did what you told me and reached out. I found a support group online and I have what they call a cutting buddy. He is an older guy and he haven't cut himself for 12 years now. My parent's don't know about him, but Itt and Percy Jr, saw him one day after I left his house. I didn't want to tell them about him because they probably wouldn't understand. But when I feel the "need" I can go by his house and we talk and I forget about cutting," Shy informed Dr. Emma.

"Why wouldn't you share with your family the extra support you are getting?" Dr. Emma said and bites on the arm of her eyeglasses.

"I told you about Itt, he is very jealous of any male that I talk too and the fact that the guy is older, I don't want to give my parents the wrong idea," Shy said relieved that he told her.

"I think you should explain to them what's going on. You need to be more open to sharing with all of your supporters. I think they would understand. Now Itt, do you feel you have a healthy relationship with him?" Dr. Emma asked.

"No."

"Why."

"He has a lot of baggage and he pulls me into it which makes me call my cutting buddy often. I like Itt, I like Itt a lot, but since my moms was in her coma it made me think more about my life and realize how short it is, I wanna be happy. Itt doesn't make me happy all the time. But I love him and I know he can change. He will be going back to New York tomorrow to stay with his aunt."

"Will that allow him to be completely out of your life? Is that something you want?" Dr. Emma asked.

"I don't want him out of my life…so I made these rumors up about girls in the neighborhood just to see if he would confess to cheating on me…" Shy looks up at the doctor ashamed.

"Wait (she puts one finger up), cheating on you? You said you weren't in a committed relationship?" Dr. Emma said puzzled.

"It's not clear, but, I mean, I really don't know. We had sex only once and he lived with us for the whole summer," Shy said.

"So you think because you had sex you are in a relationship? But lets back up to the rumors…" Dr. Emma said while shifting in her chair.

"I wanted to see if he would confess to having feelings for someone else, especially girls, he like girls when he lived in New York. He didn't really react when I made the comments."

"Because he knows there isn't any truth to them," Dr. Emma said and the 1-hour alarm rung and she glances at the clock.

"I guess so. Was that the alarm?" Shy said looking at the clock, and getting up out of his seat.

"Yes, that was the alarm. Shy, have a seat (she points at the couch); I don't have another appointment until another hour. This time will be on the house, that is if you aren't in a hurry," Dr. Emma said.

"Thank you. I know that I said this would be my last session, but I think I may need more time. Not because of the cutting, so much, but because of Itt."

"Shy, in order for you to heal you have to get any toxics out of your body, out of your system. You say that you don't feel Itt is healthy for you. Why do you have the need to keep him in your life?"

"I love him, and I know he loves me. He came here to protect me and know one has ever done anything that big for me. I want to go to New York and be with him. Maybe he needs to sit down to talk to someone. He didn't have the best upbringing. His mother was on drugs, his dad was some big time Mafia guy, so he has issues, but so do I."

"Well you said that he is in New York, do you plan to move there?"

"Jordan, my cutting buddy, is rich. He owns his own software company and I told him I would like to help kids who have been through the same thing I have in school, the bullying and sexuality acceptance. He said that he would help me. I want to find some way to help those kids, they can have some place to go and learn to stand up for themselves and I want Itt in on it too. I never told you this but Itt was a bully in his school and what turned him around is when he witnessed me being bullied. That's why he came to Minnesota, well also to get away from his mom."

"That sounds like an excellent idea Shy, but if you bring Itt in on it you have to tell him about

Jordan

. This

Jordan

, do you trust him?"

"Yes."

"Is he a gay man?"

"Yes he is, and he is a really good guy. It not like that with him."

"Sometimes people want something in return when they help you and you have to be prepared to face that disappointment. I'm not saying that your friend is one of these people. Will it be okay if I spoke with him someday?" Dr. Emma asked.

"I'll ask him," Shy said and he started to stand and stretch. "I have to go now, and thanks for the extra time."

"No problem…same time next week?" Dr. Emma asked standing and reaching out to shake Shy's hand.

"Yes," Shy said.

"Okay, well take care and call me if you need to," Dr. Emma said with a smile.

STACY, JACKIE

…Suddenly they all was startled at the loud banging at the door. The phone continues to play the theme from The Mary Tyler Moore Show, 'you can take a nothing day and certainly make it feel worthwhile…'

Tom tells Stacy to go to the kid's room to keep them calm. "Honey, I'm gonna answer the door," Tom tells Jackie.

Tom walks down the stairs and he hears chattering on the other side of his front door. He hears a rattling noise in the kitchen; he looks in the direction of the kitchen and sees a little boy. The door bell rings and all the lights in the house comes on at the same time; Tom hears the microwave beeping, a blender blending, random electronics operating, and the unknown people at the front door chattering. He looks in the kitchen and sees the little boy run and then vanished followed by hearing the basement door slamming.

"Hello! Is everything okay?" the concerned visitors asked through the door.

Tom opens the door and it's his neighbors, a couple from across the street dressed in their night clothes. "Hi, yes everything is fine. Thank you!" Tom yells over all the noise.

Tom didn't want to startled the neighbors with the darkness he feels that is going on inside his house. He really wanted to close the door on their faces and get back to his wife and kids.

"TOM! Who's at the door?" Stacy yelled over other noise that is deafening in the house. "And what's all that noise?"

Tom smiles at the neighbors and notice an astonishing looks on their faces. He turns around quickly and sees the little boy in the kitchen, looking about 7 years old, covered with red fluid. He turns back to look at the neighbors and they ask again in a cool tone, "are you sure everything is okay?" Tom doesn't answer instead he runs towards the kitchen only to find things are normal. The microwave stopped beeping; the blender was slowing down and then stopped, everything that was operating stopped.

The neighbors walked into the house as Tom was checking the kitchen. "Hi, Jackie! It's Rose and Peter from across the street. We heard lots of noise, so we came to make sure everything was okay," Rose yelled.

Stacy was holding Jackie's mouth so that she wouldn't say anything, "everything is fine, thank you," Stacy answered.

"That wasn't Jackie," Rose whispered.

Tom came back in the living room, "didn't you see that little boy?"

"No, Tom," Rose said and grabbed Peters arm and pulled him out of the house, "well we have to go now, glad everything is okay."

Tom closed the door after Rose and Peter left and ran up the stairs to his kids and wife. "Something is strange going on; I think we need to call a priest."

"Tom I thought you were an atheist? You think there is paranormal activity in our house," Jackie asked.

Rose and Peter walked fast across the street led by Rose all the while looking back at Jackie and Tom's house. "Peter, something is really dark in that house. We should call the police," Rose said.

"You think so?" Peter asked and they both stopped. (HORN BLOWS LOUDLY) "AGHHHHHHH!" Rose and Peter screamed as the tire squeals on the asphalt from a Ford Ram pick-up truck. The couple lay crippled in the street with blood spilling out of their mouth; the Ford Ram pick-up stopped in the middle of the road.

Tom, Jackie, and Stacey hears the commotion and looks out the window and see their neighbors in house coats and night clothes coming to the rescue of their fellow neighbors laying in the street only to find death.

It has only been about 1 minute; one of the neighbors walks over to the truck to see if the driver needs help but no one was in the truck. The truck had no key in the ignition and the neighbor, a big husky guy that looks as if he can pick up the truck, felt on the hood of the pick up and it was cold as if it has not been driven at all.

Suddenly the neighbor hood suffers a blackout.

LAYLA

Layla sits in her small kitchen eating a TV dinner. She looks at her watch and wonders what her next step will be. When will she receive further instructions? Her phone rings…

"Hello?"

"Hey Layla, did I catch you at a bad time?"

"No, just eating dinner. How are you?"

"Just a little stressed but I will be alright. I really enjoyed having dinner with you the other night. I can't wait till we hang out again outside of the store, ya know?" Percy said.

Layla stands up, walks into her living room, and flops down on her couch. "Yeah, I really enjoyed talking to you. And it was good to catch up."

Layla's phone signaled a call waiting and she sees on the caller ID that it's the call she was waiting for. "Hold on a sec…I have another call," Layla told Percy and pressed the 'flash' button.

" Ha, I got that sucker on the phone right now. The plan has worked. He so stupid; he is gonna be putty on my hand," Layla said.

"Layla?" a male voice spoke.

"Yes?" Layla said smiling and laughing.

"It's still me, Percy, you didn't click over." Percy hangs up the phone.

Layla stands up, looks at her phone, "Aw, shit!" She clicks the 'flash' button.

"Hello?" Layla said extremely nervous.

"What took you so long to answer?" Francesca said.

Layla just held the phone searching for an answer.

"Never mind. So you have the boy twisted around your finger huh?" Francesca said in her most seductive voice.

"Well we will see…" a now nervous Layla answered.

"What do you mean? Why the sudden change in attitude? Do you have him or not, girl?" Francesca said confused.

"I clicked over and I thought I was talking to you and…"

(THE PHONE GOES DEAD)

"Hello, hello, hello…" Layla said bursting in tears and rushing to lock her doors and window. Layla is panicked with fear as she sits in a corner in her apartment.

FRANCESCA

Inside the brightly lit room a petrified expression rest on her face. She couldn't do anything but lay there helpless hoping that someone would just walk into the room to save her.

A nurse walks in with the usual pills and water. She wonders why the nurse have a surgical mask on, and thinks 'am I contagious?' That couldn't be the case or the assailant in the room would also be masked, and she is clearly not. She could see that face clear as a summer sky. "How's your reunion?" The nurse asked Francesca.

"When can I roll her big ass out of here?" Francesca asked.

"Well we have to keep a watch on her for a while, just to make sure she is okay."

"I paid you good money to let me know when I could obtain Ms. Piggy. Why did you even bother to call if I couldn't retrieve her?"

"I'm sorry, I thought you would like an update. I mean…just to know that she woke up," the nurse answered.

"I will give you 12 hours and I would be back. (She hears Roberts voice in the hall) Did somebody call her husband?" Francesca yelled.

"Probably another nurse or the doctor," the nurse answered afraid to witness what Francesca would do.

Francesca hurries into the bathroom to hide. The nurse shots Carla with a sedative so that she wouldn't be able to speak.

"How is she?" Robert ask the nurse while grabbing Carla's arm. "Honey, can you hear me?"

"She resting," the nurse said.

"When can she come home?" Robert asked.

"I just spoke with the doctor and we have to keep her here for another 36 hours for observation, but It's very promising," the nurse informs him (smiling).

"Well I'm sure you are doing all you can. I need to used the rest room, would you excuse me?" Robert said.

The nurse steps in front of him, "NO! Please use the one in the lobby, I just called to have that one cleaned (she pinches her nose)."

Robert looks at her and wonders why she has the surgical mask on her face, "Sure no problem. I have to leave now but I would be back tomorrow to talk with the doctor," he leaves the room and Francesca comes out of the bathroom.

"I'll be back tomorrow. Make sure everything is in order," Francesca threatens the nurse. Looks at Carla, "she lost weight, I see".

"Yeah, she was on liquids," the nurse responded.

A doctor walks into the room, "how's our patient? Oh, hello (he looked at Francesca with hungry eye's, stunned by her beauty) I'm Dr. Scott, are you a relative or friend?"

"Yes." Francesca said vaguely and of course without introducing herself, and she just leaves.

Doctor Scott looks at the masked nurse, squints his eyes, and puts his hand up to his mouth, gesturing that she must be mistaken to have the mask on. The nurse looks at Carla to make sure she was still sedated and took the mask off, "Oh I forgot I had it on."

"Who was that lady?" Doctor Scott asked.

"I don't know, I just walked in before you did, doctor," the nurse lied.

A disappointed Francesca arrives at her mansion greeted by the staff to fulfill whatever need she has at that moment. "I just want to be left alone. I don't need a damn thing right now."

Francesca goes into her bedroom and closes the door. She lights some rose scented candles, turns on her vintage record player and places Chris Isaak's Wicked Game album on the turntable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAOxCqSxRD0 . It plays on repeat as she lays across her bed and starts to undress out of her Alexander McQueen gown. She grabs her cigarette case out of her bag and lights a cigarette. After only two puffs, she puts the cigarette out. She is extremely frustrated and she needs a rapid relief. She grabs a remote off a table and a large flat screen TV rises up out of a console. She presses 'play'.

"Welcome to the Othello Show! We have two special guess today…" the sound blasts from the screen. Francesca fast-forwards until she sees a close up on Robert, she presses 'pause'.

"Yes. Yes, big boy. That's it. Keep it going. I know you made a mistake. Yes. Yes. (moans continues) She can't do it like this, can she? Oh Robert, my big teddy bear. Yes, Oh yes, feed me those cakes, big daddy. Know one knows loving like my big muffin," Francesca goes on and on, pleasing herself.

Francesca bedroom door abruptly opens. She is surprised at what appears and is happy. Robert slams the door behind him and strips off his Brook Brother suit. "Oh Francesca, I couldn't wait to get meet up with you. I'm so glad you found me," Robert goes over to Francesca's welcoming arms.

PERCY (THUNDER)

"…and know one has heard anything?" Percy asked.

"Nothing, dad. Could you call the police station and find out who bailed her out?" Percy Jr. asked.

Percy sits on the edge of his bed. He is tired from working so hard at the bakery and managing his club from long distant. "Yeah, give me the number and I will get to the bottom of this."

Percy Jr. gives his dad the number and asks when he can come to New York. "Son, this is just temporary and I don't have the room where I'm staying. I will be back there once we are confident that the managers can handle it without us. You know the bakery is still new and so are the people," Percy said.

Percy gets off the phone with his son and starts to pace in the small bedroom. 'I have enough stress as it is, I really don't need to deal with Londa. DAMN!"

The phone rings and Percy looks at it and rolls his eyes. He is afraid to hear any news at this point. He realizes that there is no answering machine to answer the annoying ring so he gives in and answers.

"Hello!"

"Hey Percy, it's me. Carla came out of her coma," Robert said.

"Ah man, that's great. How is she doing?"

"Well I have not spoken with her yet. She will be release in about 3 days, they have to keep her for observation," Robert said sounding tired.

"So does that mean that you would be there for a little longer?" Percy asked.

"Yes, how is Layla? Does she have the hang of things?" Robert asked.

"Yes, I have no complaints," Percy told Robert and told him about Sahralonda being missing.

"Well do you trust her enough to think that she can handle the store on her own for a little while?" Robert asked.

"I think so, Robert. She seems solid," Percy said with confidence.

Percy calls Layla once he was done speaking with Robert. "So what do you think, Layla?"

"Of course, you go and take care of your business and I will handle everything from here," Layla anwered.

"I really enjoyed our time together," Percy said smiling.

"I have to go, Percy, I'm sorry," Layla said and immediately hung up the phone.

Percy looked at the phone confused. "I hope I didn't make a mistake." He lays across the bed on his back and day dream about him and Layla, a possibility or not.

JACKIE, STACY

"Wha..wha..what happen? Oh my head is killing me," Jackie says while coming out of a strange stance.

You can hear her children crying in the distant muffled by a closed door and see the shock on Stacy and Tom's face. The house lights flickered and the rooms got cold. Suddenly they hear glass shattering on the first level of the house. Tom looks at his wife with extreme concern, "Honey are you okay? Do you remember anything?"

"I'm gonna check downstairs, Tom," Stacy said as she carefully raises herself off the hallway floor.

"No, I don't remember anything. The last thing I remember was getting the kids some cake. Everything else is a blank. Tom, I'm scared. What happened to me?" Jackie said fearfully.

"Everything will be okay honey," Tom answered scared and trying to figure out what do they do from there? He is concerned if the children would be safe and should he fear for his life.

"THE FRONT WINDOW IS BROKEN! TOM THE WINDOW LOOKS LIKE IT WAS BROKEN FROM THE INSIDE!" Stacy yelled.

Tom is visibly shaking but trying to hold it together for the sake of his children and his wife. "Honey go to the bedroom and lay down, I'm going to check on the kids. I'll be in there real soon, baby, real soon."

Tom helps Jackie to the bedroom, "I'll be right back, I'll be right back, okay?"

"Tom please hurry back," Jackie cries and wraps herself with a blanket to fight off the coldness in the house.

Tom hurries to the room where the children are, embrace them, looks at their faces, and ensure them that everything is okay and not to worry. "I'm gonna take care of everything. Mommie is okay now, she just was feeling a little weird, but she is okay."

"Mommie sounded like a grumpy old man, dad. Is she a transvestite?" Jody said, their 5 year old son.

"No," Tom said looking at his son with shock. "What do you know about that word?"

"Jerry Springer," Jody said simply.

"No! (Tom grabs Jody's head) No, she is not that, she is still your mom, she just not feeling well. Stay put, I'm gonna check on your aunt Stacy."

Tom closes the bedroom door, walk downstairs and sees Stacy with a broom sweeping the glass off the floor. "Stacy, how do you know that the window was shattered from the inside?" Tom asked.

"Because, most of the glass is outside. I watch CSI," Stacy said almost proudly.

"So that means that someone was in the house?" Tom said.

"You think we should call the police?" Stacy asked.

"No, let me just check around the house." Tom goes to the back where the patio door is broken and all you hear is crickets.

"TOM! TOM!" Jackie screamed.

Tom stops and runs up the stairs followed by Stacy and burst into the bedroom. He sees on the wall in bold red markings reading 'GET ITT BACK'. Tom grabs Jackie. "Who did this?" She shrugs her shoulder, "Tom I don't know. Stacy grabs Jackie's finger and notices blood. "Jackie, you wrote that?" Stacy said almost whispering.

"No, I promise, I didn't write that. I don't know…" Jackie cried.

"Honey we need to get you to a hospital, get her some bandages," Tom said.

Stacy grabs Tom and asks him to come to the hallway with her. "Tom I'm not sure if that is a good idea. You know they may put her away. Maybe we should wait and see if it happens again."

Tom grabs Stacy's shoulders, shaking them a little. "Are you fucking crazy? Something is wrong. She had the strength of five bodybuilders. What's gonna be next? Somebody gets killed? We have to call the police and take her to the hospital. Maybe she needs to be away for awhile". Tom sees his children out of his peripheral vision and let go of Stacys' shoulder to not scare them any further.

"Go pack up your toothbrushes and clean undies. You are staying the night at gramps," Tom told the children.

Tom looks at Stacy, "Is this how you were brought up, thinking that the clouds will clear on their own? I'm calling."

Tom picks up the phone and dials 9-1-1 but there is no dial tone. He checks to see if the phone is plugged in but the cord is missing. He walks downstairs to the kitchen phone, again no cord. "Where are the cords to the phones?" He hurries back up the stairs, sees the kids with their bags in hand standing in the hallway, pushes them back inside their room, walks in the room where Jackie is and sees Stacy comforting her. He holds a phone up and looks at Stacy, "where are the cords? Did you use them on your arms to pop a vein up to shot your dope?"

"Tom! Don't talk to her like that," Jackie said.

Tom walks over to Stacy and stands in her face, he is very angry, "I'll ask you again."

"Tom, I don't have any cords. You are being crazy. Get a hold of your self man," Stacy said surprised and angry.

"Tom, use your cell phone. Who are you calling anyway?" Jackie asked.

"Honey (calming down) I'm sorry, but we have to get you some help," Tom said.

Tom picks up his cell phone and dials 9-1-1 and hears The Mary Tyler Moore theme song, 'you can turn the world on with your smile…' he throws the phone down and looks at his wife as if she was a complete stranger. Suddenly they all was startled at the loud banging at the door. The phone continues to play, 'you can take a nothing day and certainly make it feel worthwhile…'

JON CAPT/LAUREN

'DING' the elevator door open.

Jon Capt walks out of the elevator and seemly in a good mood. He greets everyone that passes with 'good morning, hello, and how are you doing?' in a very genuine way. Everyone looks at him, as he passes, with amazement on their faces because Jon Capt has been a real ass-hole for some many months. Jon walks to his receptionist desk, Becky, and ask could she 'please' get him some coffee.

"Sure, Jon, I bring it in with your messages," Becky said.

Becky walks into Jon's office with a mug of black coffee and message slips. She sits the coffee on his desk and hands him the message slips.

"Oh, the hospital called," Jon mentioned as he looked as his messages.

"Yes, Jon, I tried to contact you. They said it was an emergency but they wouldn't tell me what it was about," Becky said.

"Well, I'm sure it's about Janet, the raving lunatic, acting crazy. I told them to not call me about everything that she does that is unruly, that's what they are their for. If I could handle her we would still be married. That makes sense for me." Jon said and tore up the message. He continues to read the other messages to himself.

"Can you call Lauren to my office?" Jon asked.

"I didn't see her today, sir, I don't think she came in."

"Well, did she at least call," Jon asked.

Becky shakes her head no.

"I'll call her to make sure everything is okay, thanks Becky, that would be all for now," Jon said with a smile.

Jon dials Lauren's house number.

________________________________________

Lauren looks at her phone and reads the caller ID.

"Oh my God! It's Jon, should I answer?" Lauren asked nervously.

"Go ahead, but be calm Lauren. Hurry, that's the forth ring," Tracy said.

"Hey Jon, I'm sorry, I had a serious family emergency," Lauren said.

"It's okay, Lauren, but you have to call the office so we don't worry," Jon said pleasantly.

"Worry…", Lauren said under her breath surprised to even hear that Jon gave a damn. "Yeah, I know, and I'm sorry. I just got so caught up…"

"Well is everything okay, is there anything I can do?" Jon asked.

"NO!" she yelled, "I mean no, Jon, but thanks. I'll be in first thing. Is that okay?"

"Sure, Lauren, well I hope everything is okay."

"It is now, I just haven't had much sleep. Okay Jon, thank you," Lauren abruptly hangs up the phone.

Tracy slaps Lauren on her hand, "why did you hang up like that?"

"I don't know, I got nervous." Lauren said nervously.

"Look, I'm sorry for hiding in your storage closet, but I had no place else to go and I know I am the last person that you want to see."

(Last Night)

Tracy leaves out the house gets inside the car and parks it inside the garage. He gets outside the car and turns off the garage light and he notices a light shining through a partially open door. Tracy walks carefully to the door with his pepper spray in hand, opens the door, and was shocked at what appears in his eyesight. His jaw dropped and his mouth was wide open at the images of a bloody Janet sitting on the floor of the storage room half-naked with a baby with the umbilical cord still attached.

"Janet?" Tracy says.

"Help me. Help me please. I'm not crazy. It's the drugs they give you that makes you crazy. My baby is still alive. Tracy will you please help me?" Janet cries.

"Yeah, (reluctantly) yeah, Janet. I'll will help you." Tracy says sympathetically.

Tracy carefully helps Janet stand. He runs to the car and grabs some paper towel that Lauren keeps in the car and wraps the baby.

"Be careful, we have to cut this cord," Janet said while having a hard time walking into the house. Tracy puts Janet and the baby boy in her bed and tells her to sit tight.

Tracy runs to the bathroom and runs a tub of warm water. He looks in the medicine cabinet for a first aid kit and a pair of scissors. He cleans the scissors with rubbing alcohol and returned to the bedroom. With a warm damp towel, Tracy cleans the baby and 'snip' off the cord. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. I think the baby is hungry," Janet says and puts her breast in the babies mouth and the little baby boy feed.

"Did I hear a baby crying?" Lauren said while barely walking to Tracy's room. "WTF, OMG, LMAO!"

"WHAT!" Tracy said, "Lauren, this isn't facebook."

"Well, what the fuck? Janet, what are you doing here? Who's baby? Oh my God, is that your baby? I must be more drunk than I thought," Lauren said.

"Hi, Lauren. I'm so sorry, I was really scared and this was the closest place. I can't stay there anymore, ironically enough, it's making me crazy."

"Yeah bitch, well you are. Heeeelllo! That's why yo ass was in there. What did you do, escape?" Lauren said.

"Yeah."

"Oh shit, really?"

Tracy continues to wipe blood from Janet. Lauren looks in the direction of the bathroom, "Do I hear water?"

"Yeah, I almost forgot. Janet come and sit in the tub and then we are gonna take you and the baby to get checked out," Tracy says.

"No, I can't go to no more hospitals. They probably would know. I think he is okay, he seems okay, doesn't he?" Janet pleaded and she grabs the scissors and stab Lauren in the eye, (it was a sudden flash that appeared in her head) and as the flash passed, she looked at Lauren and said, "Please help me."

Lauren felt sorry for Janet, "Okay, a few days. Tracy, please clean her up. My head is killing me. Promise not to let me drink so much next time."

Tracy escorts Janet and the baby boy, still attached to her breast, to the bathroom. After everyone was cleaned and the sheets was changed, Janet and her baby slept in Tracy's room. Tracy slept on the living room couch.

Lauren wakes up realizing that she is definitely missing work today and decided to make pancakes. She notices baby milk and diapers on the living room floor, and suspects that Tracy must have gotten them last night. Lauren popped 2 aspirin in her mouth to ease the headache. She opens the refrigerator door to grab milk off the shelf and upon closing it her vision was interrupted by the sight of Janet.

"JANET! You scared me," Lauren said with her hand on her chest.

"Quiet, you are going to wake the baby. Sorry for scaring you and I am also sorry for all that you had to put up with regarding me," Janet said and hold her arms out for a hug.

"Well, I accept your apology, but I don't think we are on hugging terms. But I do want to know what is going on," Lauren said while offering Janet a seat at the table.

Janet started to explain herself the best she could with still cloudiness in her mind. Tracy is standing in the doorway listening to Janet's explanation but it is not making any sense to him. He understands that the drugs and the environment is not always the best in those hospitals, but what about all the time before is the thoughts that is running through his mind. Suddenly the phone rings. Everyone jumps as if they have committed a crime. The caller ID reads 'Jon Capt'.

"Lauren answer it, he probably wants to know why you aren't at work," Tracy says.

The baby wakes up crying and Janet runs into the bedroom and closes the door until Lauren finishes the call.

Janet snatches the phone out of Lauren hand and hits her and knocks her out cold (the second mind flash she has had since leaving the hospital) She comes out of the flash and she is holding the baby and starts to breast feed. She is frightened about the violent flashes and hope that they stop coming. If not, she wonders 'what should she do to stop them?'

PERCY JR. / SHY / ITT

Percy sits in Shy's room on the end of the bed. He is worried about his mom being missing. He spoke with his aunt and she informed him that she went to see Sharalonda and they told her she was bailed out. They didn't want to tell her who bailed her out. Percy had been to his other relatives home to see if they have heard or saw his mom, but no one has.

"They say it has been almost a week that she was released. I have to call my dad to see if he has heard from her," Percy Jr. said.

"Have she ever went missing before?" Shy asked.

"No."

"Weird…Why wouldn't the cops tell your aunt?" Itt asked.

"Good question, Itt. I don't know. But I wish I was going to New York to see my dad," Percy Jr. said.

"Call him, maybe he will get you a ticket. You can tell him that your momma is missing," Itt said not wanting to leave Percy Jr. alone with Shy.

"Shy, you have a phone call!" Brandy yelled up the stairs.

Shy picks up the phone in his room, "Hello?"

"Hey, I was wondering when I will see you again," the caller said.

"I can't talk right now. (whispering in the phone) I thought I told you not to call here." Shy said trying not to look at Itt.

"Who is it?" Itt said.

Shy walks out of the room taking the phone with him into the hall. "I'll call you later, okay?"

Itt walks to the hall and looks at Shy curiously. "Shy are you gonna tell me what's going on?"

"No. How about you mind your own fucking business?" Shy yelled.

"You are my fucking business. I want to know who was on the fucking phone. Is it someone you fucking? I have the right to know that!"

"Really? Do you really have the right to know? Did I have the right to know about Christy or Michelle, oh and how about the girl around the corner that is now two months pregnant?" Shy said.

Percy Jr. had a shocked look on his face as he made his way down the stairs passing Brandy on the way up. "What's with all the yelling?" Brandy asked and the phone rings again.

"Let me, I'll answer it," Itt snatched the phone from Shy. "Who the fuck is this and what do you and Shy have going on?" Itt asked.

"Robert, and I gave him life. Why are you answering my phone so hostile? Never mind, put Shy on the phone," Robert said aggravated.

Itt hands Shy the phone. "Son, your mother woke up. She's gonna be fine." Robert informs Shy with the good news.

JANET/JON

"Aghhh, Agh, I'm pushing! I'm pushing!" Janet yelled.

It is 4 o'clock in the afternoon. She is in pain, and gripping the sheets. Blood is resting on light blue scrubs that cover the nurses and doctor. Janet panicked with fear while the staff seemed to be extra calm and it's confusing to her. Janet bounded with straps that seem to keep her fighting harder for an escape. She feels a pinch in her skin and Janet starts to dawdle. She's out.

"Here goes the head," a nurse says.

"Janet. Janet?" the doctor calls. Janet does not respond. She just laying in peace and seems as if she is dead.

"She lost a lot of blood. Get some pints in here."

There are no cries from the baby boy, just beeps from the machines and calm tones from the staff. A nurse tries CPR on the baby, "one, one-thousand, two, two-thousand…"

"Call Jon Capt again," the doctor orders a nurse.

"It keeps going to his voice mail and I left messages and I called his office and he is out and they don't know where he can be reached," a nurse said.

Janet gradually wakes up and feels the bruises on her ankles and wrists. She is confused and scared. Her eyes are wide open and she knows that it is a good chance that something will be wrong with her premature baby. She tries to sit up and a nurse places her hand on Janet's shoulder to control and calm her. "Just relax, everything will be okay," the nurse tries to reassure her.

"Where is she? Where is Janet Capt?" a loud voice echoes through the halls. The staff looks at each other and one whisper 'Jon Capt'. A nurse runs into the hall and signals Jon to the room, "She here, but first you need to scrub up".

"Is she okay?" Jon asked while washing his arm, hands, and fingers in a hurry.

"She is doing fairly well," the nurse answered as she assisted him with fresh scrubs.

"How is the baby?" Jon said looking the nurse sternly in the eyes. The nurse turned away and started to walk towards the room. Jon grabs her shoulder with a strong clutch. "Don't walk away! Is the baby alive?" The nurse just looks at Jon with sadness in her eyes and watches him crumble to the floor.

"JON!!!!!" Janet cries out from the other room.

ROBERT, SHY

"What's going on in here? It's burning up outside and yall in here with the door closed. (Robert sniffs the air) Who's been smoking?" Robert questioned the two boys as they look nervously at each other for who will answer him.

"The wind just blew the door closed, and Itt was smoking. But he was in the window doing it, dad," Shy said nervously and wondering what his dad next question would be.

"Itt, I told you no smoking in the house and that includes blowing it out the window," Robert said upset.

"Sorry, it won't happen again," Itt said aggravated.

"I talked to your aunt and I need to get back to the store. Shy I'm gonna need you and Brandy to hold down the fort, Itt you are coming back with me. You need to see your mom, she misses you and she is getting cleaned up. She is staying with your aunt and uncle," Robert informed Itt and Shy.

"I don't wanna see her. Why can't I just stay here?" Itt said with an attitude.

"Cause you are an adult and I have to see about my own children well being. That's your family and you need to be with them. Yes, you mom has made mistakes but she is getting the help she needs and you need to be there for her. I know she misses you and she needs you (points his finger). So, it's final. If you don't wanna go back, then I don't know where you gonna go because you can't stay here. We have our own set of problems, and not that I have to explain anything to you. So just have your things ready by the end of the week," Robert said.

"But…"

"Ain't no buts about it, it's final I said!"

Robert leaves out of the room and his cell phone rings.

"Hello," Robert answers.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(inaudible person on the other end of the phone)
Itt looks at Shy with disappointment in his eyes, "who was that guy in the car?"
Shy doesn't answer, he instead hears his father sigh. "Dad, what's wrong?"
"I'm on my way!" Robert hangs the phone up and don't say a word and runs out of the house, gets in his car and drives, breaking every law known to man to make it to the hospital.
LAUREN/TRACY
Lauren and Tracy lay on the floor face-to-face, hearts racing, and awkward. "I'm so sorry," Tracy said as he maneuvered himself off Lauren.
"It's okay, it's my fault. I take after my daddy, a cluts, Lord rest his soul" Lauren replied lifting her body off the cold kitchen tile. They both laugh hysterically with each other as tears form in their eyes.
"I'm so happy to have a friend like you, Lauren," Tracy said with joy.
"Trace, it's all good. I here for you when you need me and I'm sure you would do the same for me. I hope motherfucka," Lauren said jokingly.
"Hey let's just go out and eat and we can clean this mess up later. I can go for some Mexican," Tracy said.
"Your treat, bitch. Let's go!" Lauren said.
"You have such a foul mouth," Tracy said shaking his head.
"So, what you gonna do spank me for being a bad girl."
"How about I wash that mouth out will Lava soap."
Tracy and Lauren arrive at a Mexican Restaurant. Lauren stands near her chair as she is waiting for Tracy to pull her chair out. Tracy instantly takes a seat. "What's wrong? Something in your chair?" Tracy asked looking at Lauren with confusion.
Lauren snatches the back of her chair fast and hard and sits. "No Tracy, nothings is wrong with my chair," Lauren says with a slight attitude. She mumbles, "something wrong with you manners, though".
The waitress walks over to the table. "Hello, I'm Rebecca. I will be waiting on you this evening (she hand them menus and places one hand on her hip). Can I get you guys something to drink?
"Just water for me, thanks," Tracy said.
"Tequila for me, thanks. Just bring the bottle," Lauren said and looked at Tracy for judgment.
"You going in tonight, huh?"
"I just need to take the edge off," Lauren said matter of fact way.
"I reckon," Tracy said looking at his menu.
The two patrons ate their meal; well Lauren barely touched her meal. However, she almost finished the bottle of Tequila by herself. Lauren had to be carried out by Tracy and another waiter to the car. Lauren was mumbling all the way to the car, no one could understand anything she was saying. This behavior made Tracy feel embarrassed and uncomfortable.
Tracy and Lauren make it home safe. With the car still running parked in the driveway, Tracy runs to the passenger side of the car to help Lauren get inside the house and into her bed. Tracy tells Lauren she will be back; he needs to park the car inside of the garage. Tracy leaves out the house gets inside the car and parks it inside the garage. He gets outside the car and turns off the garage light and he notices a light shining through a partially open door. Tracy walks carefully to the door with his pepper spray in hand, opens the door, and was shocked at what appears in his eyesight. His jaw dropped and his mouth was wide open at the images of…
THUNDER (PERCY)/LAYLA
"How's it going, Layla?" Percy asked from the back of the bakery.
"It's going good, just cashing out. You wanna grab some coffee when we're done?" Layla asked.
"Sure, why not?" Percy replied.
Layla waits outside while Percy sets the alarm and locks up the bakery. It's a chilly New York night so she stands there with her arms folded to generate heat from her own flesh. "Boy, will you hurry up?" Layla yelled while jumping up and down to stay warm.
"It's New York; you should always have a jacket with you, especially at night. You not in the south girl. Im'a have to learn you something," Percy said with a raise eye brow.
"That's not proper English, big head," Layla joked.
"Here take my jacket; my muscles will keep me warm."
"Whatever, Hercules," Layla said as she slightly snatches the jacket from Percy.
Percy and Layla walk to the nearby coffee shop and take a seat in a booth. "It's so good to see you after all these years, Percy", Layla said smiling the whole time.
"Yeah same here, It's been a hell of a ride. We have so much to catch up on. So what happen to the guy you was engage too?"
"Well it turns out I wasn't the only person he was engage too. He also was sleeping with my aunt. A real dog, I'll tell ya. And check this Percy, I was at his house one day and I press play in his DVD player and guess what I see?"
"What? What did you see?" Percy asked anxiously.
"You (she points at Percy), I saw you in a video," Layla said looking into Percy eyes as if he has some explaining to do.
"Hmmm…yeah. Well I did do some videos, but I'm not gay," Percy said proudly.
"I don't understand. But I saw…" Layla said confused.
"Some people would call it gay for pay. I was going through a lot of shit at the time. I did do some straight videos too, I was offered to do gay, and the money was more tempting than you can imagine. It help me a lot, I was able to start my own business and really get my life together. I know there other ways to make money, I get it, but I saw the opportunity and I went for it. I have no regrets. Look at me now, sitting across from you and I have my own gym that is successful and partnered up with Robert with the bakery that is doing really well and I am able to take care of my son like I wish too," Percy explained.
"A son?" Layla asked and more interested in hearing his story.
"Yup, I have a son, Percy Jr. teenage boy. I had when I was really out there, doing this and that. His mother is nuts though, but that is the pass and I have moved forward," Percy said.
"Wow, you've been busy, huh? I have been in school for journalism, on and off. I been engaged a couple of times, but soon as we get closer to the date something always go wrong. Percy, I have been engaged to a couple of NBA players. I don't know, my life has not been easy either and I guess I'm just still trying to find myself," Layla said looking down at the table.
"Well let's toast to 'out with the old and in with the new and in with the old friends too' (they laugh)" Percy said happily while clinging their coffee mugs together.
"We should hang out more, Percy (she stretch her leg under the table and touches his)," Layla said flirty.
"I'd like that, Layla," Percy said excitedly as they both took the moment and stared in each other's eyes.
JANET
Janet sits up in her bed, for about three minutes she sits completely still. The sun shines through the shades that shadowed the bars on the outside. She looks over at her roommate whom is sound asleep. Janet takes her one of her hands, touches her privates, and touches her belly with the other. Her face gets heated and suddenly she needs to throw-up. After she soiled her sheets, she throws them on the floor. She now sits on her bare mattress naked and drenched with sweat. She seems confused and angry. She looks up at the clock, and it reads 8 a.m. the alarm sounds through out the building to wake patients for breakfast and medicine. Janet hears footsteps in the hall and all she can think of is escaping this prison.
"Good morning Janet," the roommate whispers as she sits up on her bed.
Janet don't look at her, ignores her and only thinks of her plan.
"Fuck you too, then. Stuck up bitch," the roommate said angrily.
The dorm room door opens and Janet jumps up fast, charging
an attendant and runs out unto the general hall only to crash into a steal cart full of paper cups with pills.
"They killed my baby! They killed my baby!" Janet screams.
Security grabs Janet trying their best to calm and hold her down. All the patients are screaming and pointing and the noise is similar to one out of a horror film.
"You are gonna kill your own baby if you don't settle down," a nurse tells Janet.
"They already killed my baby last night," Janet cries.
"Honey you must have had a nightmare, you are still pregnant," the nurse says while looking at Janet's bloody thighs. "Get her to the clinic, FAST!"
"What's wrong? What's wrong? Why is there blood?" Janet cries as she spot the warm blood traveling down her thighs.
"Janet, just get up here (taps on the gurney) we are gonna take you to the clinic to make you feel better," the nurse said calmly.
"I still have my baby? You promise?" Janet says wide eye.
"As I know it, yes dear. Just lie down, we gonna take good care of you."
As the nurses and attendants roll Janet on the gurney to the clinic she turns and roll off the gurney, runs like a cheetah, barefoot and naked, and manages to get to the front entry. She pushes the entry door but it is locked, you can only be buzzed in or out. She runs back to where the receptionist sits and reaches her hand through the opened and finds the buzzer. The door opens and she runs like hell.
FRANCESCA (at age 15)
Francesca Tagliano gets a ride from her daddy everyday to school in a stretch limo. She always had the best clothes and is super smart, however, it worked against her in this school. Francesca was constantly picked on and never told her father because of fear that her bullies would be punished or killed.
As soon as the limo would pull off the thrown basketballs would hit her in the head, girls would pull her long hair, she would be kicked and spitted on. Robert, whom she had the biggest crush on, would play games with her head. Robert told the entire school that she was good at giving head, among other raunchy things and she hated him every since. There was a time when he was nice to her until he started to be teased and he decided to jump on the bandwagon. The resentment grew so strong inside of her, but she would just sit in the back of the classroom and rip her clothes on purpose to draw attention away from her being rich. One thing she did not lack on was that she was a great scholar, something her father prided her on. She was bullied her whole high school years and it damaged her internally.
Her father, Vincent, was head of Mafiosi, this mafia is ruthless and was out to prove themselves. Francesca always thought when she was old enough that she would collect each one of these bullies and make them suffer by her own hands. Francesca took the ridicule daily and she keep a diary of each day and details of her abuse. She keeps this diary well hidden in her home and no one knew about it. She was looked by her father worker's as tough and of high esteem; this is so far from the truth about this teenage girl. In her diary was a list of names and the first name is Sahralonda followed by Carla, Janet, Robert, Lisa, Tammy, and Roberta, she called them parts and they were her private parts. She would collect them as boys collected baseball cards and she would show them how it feels to suffer.
JACKIE
Jackie walks into her ranch style home from a long day at the bakery. Her two children run up to her and give her a firm hug on her legs. "Mommy, mommy, did you bring us cake!" She bends down and kisses them both on their forehead. "I may have something. Where's your daddy?"
"I'm in here honey, how was your day?" Tom Berkin said (Jackie husband)
"Oh, just a little tired. That lady, Francesca, that I told you about visited the store and Robert put her in her place. But when she left I felt a rage inside of me and I don't know where it came from," Jackie said.
Jackie kisses her husband on the cheek and tells the kids to meet her in the kitchen. "Did you all have dinner yet?" she asked the kids. "Yeah they ate an hour ago and Stacy called and said she would be home in about 20 minutes, that was 10 minutes ago," Tom said.
The children are smiling and happy to see their mom, especially when she revealed the sweet dessert that she had brought home from the bakery. She gave them both a slice of low-fat strawberry chocolate cake and told Tom that she would be sitting on the patio to get some fresh air.
Jackie sits quietly in the backyard and closes her eyes. She starts to see flashes of images that are not familiar to her, killings, drugs, prostitutes, expensive jewelry, fur coats and luxury vehicles. She feels a heat rushing inside her and her vagina begins to feel sharp and burning pain then sudden numbness. She grunts and grabs at the twinge for a moment. Everything around her feels heavy, the air, her arms, even her eyelids. She picks up her purse that sits next to her, pulls out a Cuban cigar and a lighter, and starts to smoke.
"Aghhh, what's that smell?" "Something stinky", the kids cry out.
Stacy arrives home and usually comes in through the front but she smelled the stench as she approached the front door and curiosity leads her to the back yard. Tom curious about the smell as well decides to go check where it was coming from. He opens the patio door and sees his wife sitting in the patio furniture smoking. A confused Tom, knowing his wife has never smoked, smacked the cigar out her hand. Stacy just stared in shock as she watches her sister puff and blows the clouds into the air.
"Jackie, what are you doing? When did you start to smoke, out of all things, CIGARS!?" Tom yelled.
Jackie stood up tall out of her seat with her chest sticking out like man, took her hand and slapped Tom so hard that he fell into the patio doors and shattered the glass. Stacy runs to Tom's aid and asked him if he was ok. Stacy finds the continuously burning cigar on the ground, picks it up and sticks it in the back of Jackies' neck. "AGHHHHHHHHH! You bitch! What has gotten into you?"
Stacy suddenly sees the children, gathers herself up off the floor, barely stepping on Tom and trying to avoid falling on the broken glass, grabs the kids and runs up the stairs. Stacy places the crying children in their room and tells them to stay there. Stacy walks in haste to the phone located on the second floor hall to call the police. Stacy grabs phone, and before she dials a sharp tug of her hair and head is snatched back making her lose balance, and falls backwards. Jackie is now hovering over Stacy as she lays on her back in pain, "GET MY SON BACK HERE!" a strange yet familiar male voice emerged out of Jackie's mouth. Tom stumbles up the stairs and yells, "JACKIE, JACKIE!" Jackie collapses on top of Stacy and falls into a sleep until a cup of cold water awakens her.
SHARALONDA/SHY/PERCY JR./ITT
Sharalonda opens her brown eyes wide and fast, jumping up in such a panic. The well-lighted room smells very sterile. Its looks like some type of lab. She sees cages of white mice and monkeys in glass cages. She tries to get off the cot only to realize the material bondage that prisons her. She screams and the lights flicker. She looks up at the dropped tile ceiling and spots cameras in the corners.
Francesca sits pleasantly in a security room watching her prisoner and flicks a button, "Hello Sharalonda dear, you shouldn't be so resistant. It will only hurt you in the end. I'm sure you are starving so I will get one of my staff to come feed you and just FYI you will be having company soon." Francesca flicks the button off and sees Sharalonda mouth moving wide and angry assuming she is yelling. "Poor girl, poor dumb girl, get her some of the special mice soup, she will need her strength," she tells a staff member.
Sharalonda fighting the bondage so tough that the cot tip over causing her it bust her nose. "When I get a hold of you, you sick bitch, I'ma kill you! You betta hope I die or you kill me first you son of a bitch! Aghhhhh!"
(MEANWHILE)
Percy Jr. walks over to his aunts' house where his siblings are. "Have you heard from her, aunt Quanda?"
"Na boy, you ask me that every damn day na, you got some money to help me feed y'all, cause shit that's all I'm worried about right now. Y'all are greedy and why you over here eating my food anyways. I know that big girl got some food, hell she wouldn't got that big if she hadn't. Looking like Grimace or Hamburgler. Boy, let me tell you this if yo momma call or come by I will tell you other than that don't keep asking me. Shit I'm mad cause she dump her damn kids on me anyways, shit. Go to the store and get me a pack a cigarettes and a Pepsi. Make yourself useful."
Percy Jr, took his aunt Quanda's money and walked sadly to the corner store. He sees Shy in the distant and jogs lightly to catch up with him.
(Panting) "Hey Shy, what's up?" Percy Jr. asked.
"Nothing. Just leaving a friend's house."
"Who?"
Shy stopped walking and look at Percy Jr. in his eyes, "Man you sho is nosey."
"Percy, where are you coming from?"
"My aunt's house."
"Any word on your mom? Have you spoken to your dad?" Shy asked.
"Looks who's nosey?" Percy Jr. joked.
"Whatever," Shy said.
"How is your mother?"
"The same as yesterday when I saw her. Thanks for asking," Shy said sadly.
A yellow Lamborghini pulls up beside Shy and Percy Jr. "Shy!" the driver yelled out. "You left this." The 30 something driver handed Shy a duffle bag and Shy gave him a nervous, quick peck on his cheek.
The driver drives off and Shy stands there looking for a response from Percy Jr. "Who was..." Percy Jr. started to asked until he was paused by Shy hand.
"Don't you have something to do?" Shy asked as they both stood in front of the liquor store.
"Be like that, punk." Percy Jr. said.
Shy continued walking until he reached his home; Itt greeted Shy as he approached the porch. "Who was that?" Itt asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"The old ass man in the car," Itt asked.
"Mind your business. Obviously, there is nothing going on here," Shy said.
Itt grabs Shy by his arm and pulls him inside the empty house and up the stairs. Shy not even trying to put up a fight allows Itt to take the lead. Itt closes the bedroom door. Inside the bedroom, a shirt is toss on the floor followed by underwear a pair of sunglasses and the cap the Itt was wearing. Itt kisses Shy passionately with his slightly blackened from blunt smoked lips tasting the afternoon lunch on his breath. At times, the kisses were too hard and Shy pulled away. Shy is extremely nervous, not sure of how this first encounter is gonna turn out, will his father walk in on them in this ridiculous, needed, desperate embrace. Shy is relentlessly listening for noise in the house and it is not allowing him to freely grant him self to Itt. "You father is at the hospital and your brothers and sisters are at your aunts, so relax," Itt said to calm down Shy.
Itt explored Shy's slender body and the scars that roofed his skin. Itt was in a moment and was not concerned about anything but releasing and showing Shy how much he really cared for him. It was time for Itt, he thought that maybe he would lose him had he not taken the relationship to the next level. Shy returned the favor, as his dreams were becoming a vivid 3-D movie that he was starring. The inexperience dual didn't have an ideal of how the licking, tasting, penetrating and exploring would take shape, all they knew is that the touch of their bare skins tangled and they couldn't get enough. Shy drops a tear that sparkled in the sun as it landed on Itt's cheek while he felt the pain-pleasured of Itt enters him. Loud moans and stiffened bodies condensates sweat in the heated bedroom. A loosened Shy walks around in circles on the bedroom floor with shaking knees as Itt leans his head out the window smoking a cigarette when suddenly a noise interrupts the desirable peace. Scrambles of throwing clothes, aerosol fills the room of vanilla aroma, and in record time they chilled when the knock on the bedroom door and voice of Robert call Shy's name.
TRACY/LAUREN
Lauren sits comfortably on her plush sofa in her great room across from Tracy. She shakes her head in disbelief as Tracy finishes filling her in on the conversation he had with Jon.
"Well Tracy, you know you are welcomed to stay here as long as you need (sigh)," Lauren said.
"Are you sure? You seem reluctant about it," Tracy said.
"No, I just don't want us to have buyer's remorse. We are such good friends and you what they say 'you don't really know someone until you live under the same roof'", Lauren said.
"You wouldn't even know I'm here," Tracy said.
"It's just me, Tracy; I'm so used to being here by myself. I will get over it. Come on and help me start dinner," Lauren said.
Lauren and Tracy walks into the newly remodeled kitchen awkwardly passing each other from the coverts to the counters excusing each other each time. Lauren is standing over the stove salting boiling water and when she turns around, Tracy is right in front of her. They stare at each other and Lauren's breathing starts to form heavy.
"Um hmmm, oh, excuse me," Lauren said as Tracy continues to stand in front of her.
Tracy grabbed Lauren and gave her a tight squeeze. "Thank you, Lauren. I love you."
"I love you too Trace," Lauren said as she leans back to retrieve her personal space and burnt her buttock on the hot stove. "Ouch!" Lauren yelled and jumped into Tracy, Tracy looses his balance and falls on the floor and Lauren falls directly on top of him.
JANET & JON
"I'm here to see Janet Capt."
"Relationship and name, sir?"
"Wife...ex-wife, Jon Capt"
"Is she expecting you?"
"No."
"Ok, well wait over there."
The attendant pulls Janet's file and opens it, leaves it on her desk and walks away. Jon is curious to see if Janet is better or worse so he sticks his hand through the opening of the secured window and grabs the file off the desk. He read the word "pregnant" and hears voices approaching, getting louder and louder. He hurries and puts the folder back on the desk and sits back in the chair.
The attendant walks up with a nurse. "Jon Capt?" the nurse called.
"Yes." Jon said and stood up.
"I'm nurse Levante, I will escort you to see Mrs. Capt. I must first tell you that you are her first visitor since she has been in here. I have to ask you something that is a bit personal, if you don't mind." They walk down the brightly lighted hall that is full with colorful voices, chatting, moans, and cries. Jon is regretting that he had Janet put away and now learning that she is pregnant makes it even worst for him.
"Well go ahead I'm listening," Jon said.
"Are you aware that she is expecting a child?" Nurse Levante asked.
"No, I was not aware."
"She says that you are the father. How long has it been since you too...?"
"Ha...no. I assure you i'm not the father."
"Well she seems to say otherwise. This is her room. Sometimes she doesn't remember so just be patient with her. She is very short fused so don't take anything personal. Leave the door open for security reasons," Nurse Levante instructed.
Jon walks inside the cold dorm room and sees Janet lying on her back. He notices her belly and it hits him that what he read and heard is all-true.
"Janet?" Jon speaks in a low voice.
"Hi, Jon," Janet says not even looking at Jon but continues to look at the ceiling.
"How are you?"
"How's Tracy?"
"Right now I'm more concern about you."
"Did she have the baby?"
"I'm..."
"DID SHE HAVE THE BABY JON? IT'S JUST ONE FUCKING QUESTION!" Janet yelled.
"No, not yet. When are you due?"
"It's your baby Jon."
"My baby?"
"Yeah Jon, it's yours or did you think we make babies by ourselves?"
"But we have not had sex."
Janet raises her body up from the bed and stands in front of Jon, lifts her shirt up and grabs his hand, places his hand on her belly.
"Feel your baby Jon."
Jon snatches his hands away from Janet.
"Janet, I came here to see if you needed anything. I don't know why I even bothered. You're not getting better, you're getting delusional. Come on tell me, who's baby is it?" Jon demanded.
"It's your motha fucking baby Jon. IT'S YOURS. Remember...just let me put the head in, just a little taste. Remember, you piece of shit. I was so stupid and let you. You still the punk, weak, pussy, bitch I met. I don't care how much money you got. Why the FUCK you hear anyway? Shouldn't you be running up behind that confused mangina Tracy? You fucked with the wrong bitch Jon Capt."
"Mr. Capt, maybe you should leave. She seems to be upset." An attendant suggested.
"You think! The bitch is in the right place. You know Janet I came here cause I have a bit of compassion for you, but you don't have to worry about me anymore." Jon walks out of the room and he starts to here whispers 'Tracy, Tracy, Tracy, Tracy'. He stops and looks back.
"Mr. Capt, come this way. I'm sorry you had to deal with that," the attendant said.
Janet sits up in her bed and remembers the random guy at the bar whom she let have his in the bathroom. "I'm pregnant by a fucking REDNECK! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh".
TRACY
"Jon we need to talk, I know I have not spoken or seen you in days but I lost the baby," Tracy says.
Jon turns his desk chair around from facing the window, points a pistol at Tracy and pulls the trigger.
The elevator door open snaps Tracy out of her day-mare 'DING'. "Hey, Tracy? You here to see Jon?" Becky asked.
"Hello Becky, yeah I am. Is he busy?"
"I'll call him." Becky calls Jon and tells Tracy he can go into Jon's office.
"Long time, don't see. Is everything okay? How's the baby?"
"Jon, I lost the baby last week."
"Oh noooooo, here have a seat. Why are you just telling me? What happened? This is terrible." A devastated Jon said.
"It was a lot of complications, Jon. I can't have anymore kids," Tracy said.
"Was it because of this whole (points his finger at her body) transformation thing?" Jon said getting angry.
"No, Jon. It can happen to any woman. Besides I stop taken hormones once I found out and the doctors told me everything was fine."
"I will sue!"
"Jon! I seen four different doctors and they all said the same thing. So I know this is tragic for you and I'm sorry. I need to know what happens from here, our arrangement?"
"You wait a week to tell me you killed my kid and then you come and ask me about a FUCKING ARRANGEMENT! THE ARRANGEMENT IS OFF! GET OUT OF MY OFFICE AND DON'T EVER COME BACK!" Jon yelled.
Lauren is standing at Becky's desk when she hears the shouting coming out of Jon's office.
"Becky is that Tracy in there?" Lauren asked.
"I'm afraid so," Becky answered.
Tracy hurries out of Jon's office and sees Lauren.
"Lauren I may need to stay with you, but I will catch up with you later, ok? Please don't ask me anything right now, I have to leave. Just come to my place around 6," Tracy said with a shaky voice.
"O..Okay," Lauren said.
Lauren is reluctant to go to Jon's office but takes a chance anyway. She opens his office door slowly and hears him on the phone. She begins to eavesdrop.
'Hey baby, I know we had hard times and now that you are having my baby I am ready to make this thing work. Tracy is completely out the picture we can rebuild what we have. I'm so sorry for what has happened'.
Lauren closes the door and walks back to Becky desk. "Did Tracy tell him about losing the baby?"
"I think so," Becky answered.
"So who else did he get pregnant?" Lauren asked.
"PREGNANT?! Lauren I think my water just broke."
ROBERT, CARLA, ITT, and BRANDY
Robert stands over Carla as she lies in the hospital bed. He holds her hand and tears are forming in his eyes.
"Baby please, wake up. I should have never went to New York," Robert whimpers.
"Dad you didn't know that this would have happened," Brandy consoles her father.
"It's all my fault. I should not have come here in the first place," Itt said.
"Itt, we should just tell them," Brandy said.
"Tell what?" Robert asked.
"Nothing, she don't mean nothing," Itt said and grabs Brandy by the arm and pulls her into the hospital hallway.
"What's wrong with you? You know what that would do to your family?" Itt said.
"LOOK AT WHAT IT HAS ALREADY DONE. MY MOM IS IN THAT ROOM FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE!!" Brandy yelled.
"SOMEBODY BETTER TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW!!, Robert insisted.
"I smoked weed with Itt, that's why I thought I was sick," she looks up and sees a thin figure running toward them in the hall. As the figure gets closer, she realizes that Shy must have gotten the news about their mother in the hospital.
"Where's mom?" Shy said.
"Shy, where have you been?" Brandy asked
"Google me, bitch. You betrayed me. You are my sister and you are sleeping with Itt, the person you know I would have taken a bullet for," Shy said.
"I never slept with Itt, Shy," Brandy says.
"Then what's the big secret. You know what? I really don't care anymore. I'm here to see mom. Hi dad," Shy said.
"We will get to the bottom of this. Just calm down. Brandy, no more soda for you, Gatorade and water," Robert said.
"What was wrong with Brandy? Not that I should really care," Shy asked.
"Dehydration," Itt said.
"I was speaking to my pops," Shy said.
Itt rushes towards Shy and plunge his forearm at Shys' neck forcing him against the wall. "Look man, I have been biting my tongue but I'm sick of your shit. You don't even know and you are assuming what you think is happening."
Robert grabs Itt and pulls him away from his son. "Shy, your sister and Itt smoked marijuana and she thought she got sick from it, that's all so calm down."
CARLA (Inside her coma)
"I want you to fire her. She is not a good fit for the store and I don't trust her," Carla said.
"Thunders' friend?" Robert asked.
"Yes dear, you do it or I will do it myself," Carla said and grabs the bell that sits on arm of the beach chair, she shakes it and a 20 something white male with a crisp, starched uniform hurries to her attention.
"Yes ma'am?" the help asked.
Carla points at her wine glass, "I thought I told you to keep it coming, please don't let me raise this bell again. Is that understood?"
"Sorry ma'am, I'll get the champagne right away," the help said.
Robert looks at Carla sideways with an disgusted look on his face and notices Carla checking the young helper out as he walks away.
"She won't be fired, Carla. What has gotten into you?" Robert said.
"Robert, I'm not a Rubix Cube, I'm not hard to figure out. I want things my way from now on. I have been catering to what you want for years, raising the kids, taken others in, putting everyone first, especially you. It's my time Robert and that's no compromise. So get with it or get on, son. It's all about me. And you bets believe Robert she will be gone by next week. (Carla positions herself more comfortable in the beach chair and looks up to the sky) And that's me being nice. If Thunder want to take his ass on, he can go to. So please just shut up and soak up the rays, maaan." Carla said nonchalantly.
                                 FRANCESCA TAGLIANO
Francesca Tagliano feels refreshed, relaxed after her vacation, and relieved that she had Charles Romaine the Third put down. She is proud that she was able to accomplish what her previous mafia generation couldn't or simply have the balls to do. Francesca is sitting in the back of the limo and yells at the driver to turn the music up. She loves Lady GaGa, she feels that she is daring and brave and have balls to do what ever she feels, and she admires that. Of course being a fan, she is bothered that Lady GaGa calls her fans "little monsters" and the first opportunity she get to meet her she will express that to Lady GaGa in one way or another.
Francesca Tagliano pulls up in front of What's the Skinny Bakery. She walks inside and instantly eyes falls upon her. Her glowing beige skin and tight fitted dress makes an impression of 'what are you doing in a place like this'. Not to say that the bakery isn't remarkable and classy, but you wouldn't think a lady of this grand gesture would set foot inside, maybe send someone inside, but not herself. Robert greets her at the counter; she gently steps around the counter and sees the surprised look on Roberts' face.
"Hello Bobby," Francesca says in a very seductive tone.
"Hello Francesca, I though you were a silent partner," Robert said with an attitude.
Francesca stood close in Roberts face with a blank but serious look on her face. "Tisk, tisk, Bobby. Jackie? That is your name sweetie, RIGHT? Fetch me some of your finest water (she looks around at the decor) that you can find in mmmy establishment,"
"Excuse me Robert," Jackie says trying to get around Robert to fill Francesca request.
"You can't come hear and talk to the staff that way," Robert said frankly.
"Oh, sorry Bobby, it won't happen again. (In a southern tone) Where ARE my manners? (Laughs)."
                      __________________________________________________
Jackie was walking pass the office with a bottled water for Francesca in her hand when she was summons by Percy.
"Hey Percy, what's up?" Jackie asked.
"Hey don't let her get to you. I know you are under a lot of stress and you are such a sweetheart. However, if you need to take time off let us know," Percy said still concerned about the incident in the street.
"Thank you Percy (she gives him a hug). I'm sure I will be fine, just stress like the doctor said. I'm learning to take it easy and I need to be here. My stress isn't the job. I just have to get things in order with my sister Stacy. You and Robert have been so kind to me, thank you. By the way Francesca isn't a bad person, just mis-guided (she smiles and continues on her quest to deliver the water to Francesca)."
Percy thinks to himself 'she is a hell of a lady' and continues to do his paper work until he hears, "WHERE IS MY WATER, DID SHE GET IT FROM THE HUDSON RIVER?!" Percy walks out the office to the front.
"I'm sorry ma'am, I got side tracked," Jackie responded.
"HEY! HEY! Look you can't speak to anybody like that in here..." Robert says until Jackie cuts him off.
"It's ok Robert, calm down please," Jackie said.
"You can learn a lot from her Bobby and I suggest you do," Francesca says and walks out the bakery, cleans her hands with a sanitary wipe, and walks to her limo.
Jackie watches Francesca walk out the bakery with a sly smirk. Robert sees the look and then looks at Percy. "Jackie?"
"Yes Robert?"
"Are you really ok?"
"Of course, I'm a big girl," Jackie replied and continue to serve the shocked customers that just witness the bizarreness of the head lady mafia Francesca Taliano. A male voice in Jackie's head speaks (that bitch will get hers).
"My plane leaves in an hour, Thunder are you sure you can handle the store?" Robert asks.
"Robert, I have my own business. I think I can handle the store. (Percy grabs Robert's shoulder and hustle him out the door) Go take care of your wife and kids. They need you right now," Percy insisted.
"Layla, thanks for being here. You are a life saver," Robert said.
"Go Robert! We got it," Layla said, went, and stood next to Percy.
Once outside the bakery Robert sees Francesca's limo. "You need a ride to the airport, Bobby?" Robert looks down at his watch and realized that he may have a better chance getting to the airport quicker with Francesca help. He walks toward the limo and the door opens, he gets inside. Francesca tosses the bottled water out the window and the limo takes off to the airport.
                                           SAHRALONDA
"Sahralonda?!" An officer called out.
"WHAT!"
"Your bail is posted. You free to go. We have a lady from protective services here to talk to you about your kids."
"Shit. I don't feel like dealing with this shit right now. Who posted my bail?"
"Fran, or something like that. She left already. C'mon na, enough with the questions," The officer said irritable.
Sahralonda walks through the lobby of the precinct. "Excuse me, Sahralondre. Sahralondon," CPS lady said.
"Bitch! Why do you wanna talk to me and you can't even get my fucking name right? I don't wanna talk to you, obviously. So take yo ass back to yo little suburban house with yo white picket fence, and leave me the fuck alone."
"I'm the only chance you got to maybe getting your kids back".
"What? I ain't abusing them. So, what the fuck you saying? They not at my sister's?"
"The children feels otherwise, ma'am".
"Children should be seen, not heard. (Sahralonda walks up in her face) By the way, Lilly White, I'm not an old ass ma'am. If you don't have the credentials or education to pronounce my name correctly maybe they need to take your kids, otay?"
Sahralonda rolls her eyes and walks out the police station and sees a limo. The window rolls down half way. A graceful, manicured hand gesture her to approach and she do so. The door opens and Sahralonda climbs in and the limo takes off. Ms. Carmichael, the CPS worker, stands on the top of the stairs outside the police station and watches Sahralonda get in the limo, she takes a pen and writes down the license plate number and leaves.
                                                    STACY
"Hi, my name is Stacy, and I'm a drug addict."
"Hi, Stacy," the NA group says in unison.
"Today I am 14 days clean and it has been a struggle. My sister, Jackie, has given me this opportunity and I appreciate her for it. I miss my son; I understand he is in living with her boss Robert home in Minnesota. I'm sure Itt doen't want to talk to me and that is the hardest thing for me at this point other than staying clean. I want a job, but it is hard looking for a job with no experience. The only experience I have is cooking up drugs to use."
"Have you tried calling your son?" an NA member asked.
"No, now that I am clean, I can feel all the shame that was hidden all these years. I wouldn't even know where to begin," Stacy said with tears in her eyes. Stacy looks up and sees Jackie running into the room. Jackie grips Stacy arm and squeezes hard, "we need to go get Itt!" Jackie demanded. Stacy plants her feet on the floor and snatches her arm back, "What's the urgency? Why are grabbing me like that?" Stacy asked shocked at the way her sister is behaving. Jackie eyes were fully dilated, scary and seemed familiar like someone from the pass. Jackie eyes suddenly became normal as she snaps back into her self.
"Oh, hey Stacy, what's going on?" Jackie says and looks at the NA group staring at her like she needs to be in the meeting as well.
"What's going on is that you come grabbing my arm like you was crazy. What's gotten into you?" Stacy said worried.
"I don't know. Can you take me home? I think I need to lie down," Jackie said confused.
"Is everything okay?" a NA member asked.
"Yeah, yes. Everything will be okay, thank you," Stacy said with a forced smile and hurried out of the building.
                                                BECKY
"I can't wait to get in our house. Jon has been impossible," Becky says.
"How much time will it be till they are finished?" Lauren asked.
"They are scheduled to install the tile in the kitchen and put the appliances in on Wednesday and we will be ready once it's done."
"Well you don't have long. Hand in there, girlfriend."
"Speaking of "girlfriend" what's up with you and Tracy? I see how you look at him and him at you."
"I like Trace, Becky. But it's so complicated right now. You know he was with Jon and the whole lost pregnancy thing...," Lauren puts her hand over her mouth and realized that she just talked too much.
"WHAT? Are you serious?"
Lauren gets up from behind her desk and pace the floor with her arms flying in the air, "girl you are not to repeat that to anyone". Lauren makes sure her office door was locked. "I was sworn to secrecy, oh my gosh, I shouldn't have said anything. Tracy is gonna kill me."
"I won't say anything, I promise. But I heard that Janet was pregnant. Do you think that it's Jons'?" Becky asked.
"Bitch you lying? Janet is not pregnant?" Lauren said shocked.
"No girl I'm telling you the truth. What I wanna know is, from who?" Becky says.
"Jon doesn't know?"
"No."
"How did you find out?" Lauren asked.
"I have a friend who works in the facility where she is," Becky said.
"Well if it is Jon's baby, Tracy loosing his baby...I don't even know. This some soap opera shit for real. But Becky please don't say anything to anyone about Tracy," Lauren said.
"I won't, don't worry. My lunch break is over. I will talk to you later." Becky said and walked out Laurens office. She rushes to her desk, picks up her phone and makes a call, "girl I got something to tell you..."
Carla
"Where are you going?" Carla asked.
"I'm not staying here with him. I want to see my father!" Percy Jr. demanded.
"Well you know he is in New York...," Carla said.
"I have money. I will get on a plane".
"Look here, you will stay put."
"If he stays then I'm leaving," Itt says.
"All of yall can leave. All of yall are getting on my nerves. This isn't a boarding house, anyway".
Carla grabs a bag of Cheetos, walks upstairs to her room upset and Shy follows behind her.
"Mom, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Itt being here and now Percy Jr. If it wasn't for me none of this would be happening," Shy says.
"Shy just leave me alone for awhile, okay?"
Shy walks back downstairs. Brandy grabs his arm as he reach the last step, "is she okay?"
"She just wanna be alone for awhile," Shy says.
Itt grabs Percy Jr. by his collar and drags him outside on the porch. Percy Jr. is trying to stop him but Itt's rage and strength is too powerful for Percy Jr.
"Let him go! If you hurt him I would never talk to you again!"
Shy runs out to the porch and see Brandy pulling and hitting on Itt. Shy rushes over and grabs Brandy, "Brandy, stop you're gonna get hurt."
"Why are you taking up for him, Brandy?" Itt asked.
Carla, can't get a moments peace, rushes downstairs, with Cheeto cheesed fingers, and unto the porch.
"Brandy, get back in the house," Carla says pointing toward the front door.
Brandy upsettingly goes inside the house and looks at the commotion through the living room panels. She starts to feel a sharp pain roaming her stomach and crumbles to the floor.
After Carla safely broke the boys up from fighting, she told them all to go inside the house. Carla enters the living room and finds Brandy lying on the floor crying. Carla runs to Brandy and asks is she ok.
"Brandy, are you alright? Somebody call 9-1-1!" Itt said.
Shy looks at a very concerned Itt and feels very jealous the way Itt is touching his sister. Shy decides to take charge and pushes Itt out the way. Carla is on the phone with an emergency dispatch.
"I can take care of her," Itt said.
"What do you mean you can take care of her?" Shy asked.
"I'm so sorry, Shy. It happened only one time. I promise," Brandy pleaded.
"WHAT? Sorry for what?" Shy asked.
"AGH! Mom, please help!" Brandy yelled.
"Honey, they are on their way," Carla said as she pushed Itt and Shy away from hovering over Brandy, "Give her some room and air. Go get some water, Shy. Oh my stars...what's going on with you Brandy, Carla said.
Shy grabs Itt's arm to force him to follow him into the kitchen. Itt was reluctant to follow Shy, but he knew he owed Shy an explanation.
Shy stand near the refrigerator, folds his arms and taps his foot, "What's going on Itt?"
"I'm sorry man. It was an accident," Itt said.
"I want to know what was an accident and what are you apologizing for?" Shy demanded.
"Shy, where is the water?" Carla yelled.
"Coming mom! We aren't done Itt," Shy said and pushed Itt in his chest.
Shy walks with his face full with tears and breathing heavy, his heart felt as if it drops out of his body. He enters the living room and instead of giving Brandy the water he pours it on her and runs out the house.
"What the fuck is going on here? Itt go to your room, and everybody go to your room!" Carla screamed.
"What about Shy?" Percy Jr. asked.
"OUT!" Carla screamed again.
Paramedics came to the door and checked Brandy's vitals. They said she seemed fine, but will take her in for further examination. Carla alone followed the paramedics to the hospital and while driving Carla called Robert.
"Hey honey, I can't talk to long right now. Something is strange going on with Jackie. She was lying out in the street, Layla, Percy's friend is helping out..." Robert said but suddenly interrupted by Carla.
"Robert, shut up! Our daughter is on her way to the hospital. She fell in the living room and is in pain. I am (stuttering) I am really losing it here (crying)."
"Oh honey, do you think she is gonna be okay? Is she with you right now? Oh my God, what did they say is wrong with her?" Robert said concerned.
"I don't know yet. Robert, I don't know how long I can hang on to all this. I'm losing my mind. My sister, Shy, now Brandy, and I got Percy Jr. and Itt. It's just overwhelming. I have been trying to be strong (cries)."
"Honey, hold on one minute."
"NO!!!!!" Carla screams at the top of her voice. Her eyes get heavy and her heart is racing, pounding through her seatbelt, sweat beads off her forehead like a cold pitcher of iced tea. She blanks out and darkness and pain flashes through her brain. Her vehicle smashes to the back of the ambulance; the air bag explodes and punches her in the face, throws the cell phone to the back seat, and crushes her noise.
"HONEY!" Robert screams into his phone. The phone reads 'END CALL'.
___________________________________________________
___________________________________________________
She walks inside of the bakery wearing a tight fitted dress; a string of pearls sits comfortably on her neck. She is smiling. Her face is undeniably happy. Happier than she has ever felt even happier than when she married Robert.
"Honey? Carla. Look at you. You are stunning. Wha...what are you doing here?" Robert asked looking confused.
"Hello dear, I thought I fly in a pay you a visit for a spell (kisses him on his cheek). Oh, hey Percy, it's so good to see you all. This must be Jackie, hello dear."
Shock and confusion plastered on their faces as she emote confidence and happiness. "And I'm sorry but who might you be young lady?"
She extends her hands, "I'm Layla, a friend of Thunder, I mean Percy."
Carla looks a Layla hand and presses her lips tightly together and points at Layla, "umm umm, nope, something not right with you."
"Excuse me..." Layla responded.
Percy moves closer to Layla and places his hand on her shoulder 'don't worry about it; I'll take care of this'.
"Carla she is an old friend from college, one of my dearest friends," Percy said very franked.
Robert seemed more concerned about why she was there and not at home with the kids.
"Where do you think they are? They are at home with the help."
"WITH THE HELP?!" Robert and Percy said in at the same time.
JON
"BETH!"
"Yes Jon?"
"I need a copy of those briefs."
"I'm still waiting on the messenger."
"I needed them like yesterday. Why is it when I ask you to do something there is always some bullshit ass excuse?"
"I'm sorry, Jon."
Lauren is standing just outside Jon's door listening, not on purpose, just as she was walking up she heard him yelling. Not sure if she wants to disturb him now, so she decided she would wait until later to ask him for some time off. As Lauren turned around to walk back to her office, "What is it Lauren?" Jon asked. She wondered 'how did he know she was standing there'.
"It can wait Jon."
Lauren started walking fast, turned a corner, and bumped right into Tracy.
"Hey Tracy, what are you doing here? You come to see Jon?" Lauren asked.
"Oh hey Lauren, you look good in your business suit," Tracy said looking Lauren over.
"Oh I'm sorry, I'm being noisy. I have to get back to my office anyways. I will let you go talk with Jon. However, before you go let me tell you he is not in a good mood. Crabby (whispered)."
"Well before I talk with him can I speak with you for a minute?"
"Sure come to my office."
Lauren and Tracy proceed to Lauren's office.
"Have a seat."
"Ahhh, how can I say this?"
"Well, just say it. What's up?"
"Let me just say that you think Jon is crabby now he is about to blow a fuse after I tell him this."
(Tracy tells Lauren the news.)
"Not today, Trace. Please just let me feel him out and we'll play it by ear, ok. This can break him. You know how he feels about this," Lauren says very concerned.
JACKIE
Jackie stands behind the counter with a tear stained face. A line is forming outside of the bakery and the phone is ringing continuously. People are whispering and wondering if this is some kind of joke. One customer yells, "WAKE UP! SOME OF US HAVE JOBS TO GO TO!" She does not move. Robert hears the loud customer, comes out of his office, and sees the back of Jackie's head. He notices that she is as still as a statue and a crowd is forming in the store, so much that people are growing impatient and starts to leave.
"Hold on. Please don't leave. I'll take your orders," Robert said.
He hurries to the alley where Thunder is taking out the trash and tells him to retrieve Jackie and hurries back in to serve customers. A young woman notices Robert's stress.
"If you don't mind I can help. I worked a register for years through high school," the young woman said as she approached the register. A hesitating Robert reluctantly allowed the young brunette to work the register and wasn't surprised of how fast she learned.
Thunder grabbed Jackie by the shoulders and took her to the office. She seemed confused and upset. "I have to go home," Jackie said snapping out of her day dream.
"Well, first let's get you some water. Rest here a little while. I will be right back," Thunder said as he went to get Jackie a cup of water. He looks at Robert with a confused and worried look on his face.
"How is she?" Robert asked.
"I don't know. We will see in a few minutes," Thunder told Robert.
"Hand me a cup please," Thunder said to the brunette. As the brunette turned around so that Thunder can see her face his jaw dropped.
"Oh my God!" Thunder said excitedly.
"Hey, big guy. I saw you on The Othella Show and just had to come here and check you out. I missed you so much," the brunette said.
Thunder looks at Robert as Robert stands there looking at the reunion. "Robert this is Layla. She was one of my best friends in college," Thunder said.
Noises of tires squealing, horn blows, and people shouting distracted the conversation and reunion of Thunder and Layla. Everyone, including Thunder and Robert on the inside of the bakery runs out of the store. In the middle of the street lays Jackie with her eyes wide open.
CARLA/JANET
"How are you doing? Do you need anything?" Carla asks Janet.
"I'm doing ok, thank you. I'm glad I am here. I certainly need the rest," Janet replies.
"Well you sound like you got your head together. That didn't come out right, sorry," Carla says.
"It's ok. I understand. I did this to myself and I know what you mean by getting my head together," Janet says.
"Well I have to go pick up the boys. I will call you next week," Carla said.
Janet hangs up the phone and pinches the nearest fellow client near her.
"Ouuuch!"
"Oh, shut up you washed up old bag," Janet replied and slapped everyone that was in her path until she reached her room, slapping at least 12 other patient.
"Aghhhhh!" Janet screamed into the pillow to muffle the sound, kicking her legs while her head bops hard like a rock star.
"Tracy, Tracy, Tracy, Tracy, Tracy..." Janet repeats for about an hour in a low raspy tone.
"Janet? Who is Tracy?" Janets' roommate asks.
Janet either ignores her or doesn't hear her at all. She just continues to repeat..."Tracy, Tracy, Tracy..." in a raspy low tone.
"It's time to take you prenatal care meds Janet," a nurse said as she enters Janet's room.
"Prenatal care meds?" Janet says snapping her out of her stance. "I'm pregnant?"
"Yes dear, we have this talk everyday. You are pregnant," the nurse says.
"Is it Jon's?" Janet asks.
"I couldn't answer that. Open up. Drink this," the nurse says with a smile and walks out the room.
Janet lifts her shirt, feels her growing belly, and flashes a devilish smile.
'He wanted a baby, now he would have to take me back. I am a real woman, not like that imposter Tracy', Janet thinks to herself.
"Tracy, Tracy, Tracy..." Janet begins to repeat in the same raspy tone and take her clothes off completely and walks the halls screaming, "that's right, I'm a real woman dammit! Look at these (grabbing her breasts)!"
LAUREN
"Boy, you are stupid," Lauren says and laughing hysterically.
"I can always make you laugh," Tracy says.
"Yeah, and I appreciate it too, especially after a hard day at the office. How did your doctor appointment go?" Lauren asks.
"Good, I'm having a boy. Are you gonna help me pick out a name or should I let Jon do it?" Tracy asks.
"I think you both should come up with something," Lauren said.
"I can't believe Janet...." Tracy starts to say until Lauren interrupts.
"I can. The bitch is crazy. They should have locked her up a long time ago. You betta watch yourself if she ever escapes, she coming after you, Boo Boo (saying with two hard claps of her hands)," Lauren says and accidentally drops her phone in her bath water.
"Hello, hello. Lauren, are you there?" Tracy asks.
Lauren was running bath water at the time of their conversation and forgot the phone was in her hand. She scrambles to get the phone out the water as her feet slips she falls face down in the tub. Her clothes are soaking wet. She grabs the phone, blows the water off the phone, and hits it to release any water that may have gotten inside. She turns on the phone to see if it is still working and to her surprise, a green indicator light flashes on. "Yay! Ahhh, now look at me" Lauren says to herself looking down at her wet clothes.
Tracy looks at his phone confused that Lauren hung up. He dials Lauren's number and Lauren answers on the fifth ring-breathing heavy. "Hello, sorry about that, I dropped my phone in the tub and I had to grab another," Lauren said standing in her living room with her clothes dripping wet.
"WINNING!" Tracy said impersonating Charlie Sheen and started laughing hysterically.
"Shut up, punk. I can't help it if I'm a clutts. I get it from my father. Did I ever tell you how he died? Lord rest his soul." Lauren said.
"No, I don't recall," Tracy said.
"He was a mechanic and he wasn't very organized. He broke his legs six times and he arms 8 times, 4 times on each arm. Well anyway, he was cheating on my momma with this woman that just sleeps with everybody in our neighborhood. In addition, when my mother found out she called him on the phone and her last words to him were 'you ain't slicker than a can of oil' and told him to pack all his things when he get home. Well the woman he was sleeping with came to the garage and he told her that my mom found out. So he happy because he feel a bit burden is lift off his back. He goes to do his cool daddy walk and ironically slips on some oil on the floor, flat on his back, the girl goes to help my daddy and she slips too, she grabs the lever that lifts and lowers the cars and falls. A car was coming down fast of my daddy, caught his legs under, bent, and killed him. It was tragic. Till this day my mother regrets saying 'you ain't slicker than a can of oil', Lauren finished her story and didn't hear anything, "hello?"
"Wow, that's painful," Tracy said.
"Now can you believe that my brother works for an oil company?" Lauren asked.
"Ha! Hold on, someone is beeping in," Tracy said and clicked over. "Hello?"
"Your dead bitch!" a muffled voice traveled through Tracy's ears.
"Who is this?" Tracy asked just before the caller hung the up the phone and feels wetness racing down his leg.
To be continue......
PERCY ‘THUNDER’ JENKINS/SAHRALONDA
17 Years ago
A 19 year old Percy “Thunder” Jenkins living in Detroit lived at the night clubs. Of course he was too young to get into the 21 years old and up clubs but he was charming enough and made friends with the owners and provided them with things that they desired (drugs) so they broke the rules for this drug dealing ladies man.
One night Thunder pulled up in his soup-ed up used Cadillac. He had rims that mirrored any reflection; it was red with a yellow racing stripe. He always has an entourage of ladies and a few fellows following his lead. He has an independent mind and immense traits as a leader. As he and his group is walking through alley entrance of the club, Thunder is taken as he sneaks a peek at the eye candy the will be accompany him soon. That’s how confident he is.
Inside the colorful lit night club the group is greeted by many familiar faces. Kisses on cheeks, and hand pounds accommodated the entrance, along with small talk and laughter. Thunder sits at the bar contemplating his next move. A young lady is trying to get his attention with unnecessary chatter, he shakes his head yes as if he is paying her attention but don’t hear a word she says. His eyes are drawn to the light skinned girl with a pony tail tilted to the side of her head and a lollipop in her mouth; he scans her with his eyes. The same piece of candy he seen standing in line. She is giving the brothers rejection looks with her eyes, without even saying a word, and they seem to pick up on the indication. “Stuck up bitch” “Ghetto ass hoe” “Fuck you then, slut” “I heard yo shit loose anyway” “Runaway slave ass pussy” and the insult repeats as long as she gave the look. She wasn’t faded by any of it. She was on a mission to find her a baller.
Thunder parts the crowd as he approaches this light skinned attitude on stilts. “Don’t even give me the look. I don’t want anything from you,” Thunder told her not faded by her gesture.
“What?” she said with squeakiness in her voice and roll of the eyes.
“Let me tell you umm…” Thunder said looking for her to tell him her name.
“Londa,” She said short, not letting go of the attitude.
“Let me tell you, Londa. You have something special. (She takes a deep breath with her arm folded and shifts her weight to another leg and looks at him like ‘what da fuck he mean’ look on her face) These boys that are approaching you are intimated by you. That’s why they give up so easy. Cause you got something special (points at her head), but you don’t even know it,” Thunder said and walk away.
Londa stood in the same spot for a while not sure of how to feel after hearing what Thunder said. She wasn’t sure if it was a compliment or what. What she did know is that she felt rejected and confused and he made her lose her attitude for even a split second and that’s something that never happened to her.
Londa wanted to hear more of what this guy had to say. She felt he was really groovy and smooth, not like these other jive turkeys in the club. She looked for him, in every inch of the club. She went to the bar and the bartender already knew exactly what Sahralonda (Londa) was looking for. The bartender pointed to the staircase near the south end of the bar. She nodded her head and put on her attitude to show the bartender that she wasn’t pressed and walk to the guarded staircase. The guards unchained the entrance ‘agh, whatever’ she mumbled and walked up the stairs. To her right a room glowed with blue light and heavy smoke. She smelled marijuana and heard Thunders voice. “It’s not happening tonight sister” and another woman in the room closed the door in Londa’s face. She stood there with a puzzled look on her face ‘who do this nigga think he is’. She walks back down the stairs into the loud club area with her appointed attitude plastered now on her red face. Upset because she had just gotten played an ultimate rejection, but she couldn’t shake him out of her like she usually do with the other men. It was just something about this guy. One of Thunder’s entourage male members approach Londa and she immediately put on her act. “Sista please, it’s not even about that. His name is Thunder and here is his number. He asked me to give this to you.” He handed her the card and walked off not even in the slightest bothered by her aura. She felt butterflies holding the card and warmness inside. Her face forced a smile and she quickly released it once she noticed the emotion.
Sahralonda called Thunder and he agreed to go out with her, except they never went out. All they ever did was have sex, protected sex. They saw each other for about three months. Three months of manipulation from Thunder in which she had no clue of how wide her nose was open. She wanted Thunder to herself. She knew that he had other women, but she whole heartedly felt she was his number one.
One night, routinely, Londa was preparing herself and plotting a way to keep Thunder. She was gonna make sure she is gonna be the one and only. She took a condom and pierced a hole through the package. She knows that Thunder always plays it safe but she wanted to ensure her position and change Thunder by trying to have a baby.
Londa walks out of the bedroom with the condom hidden in her bra. She is very creative the way she slips it over his private part. They proceed and finish. She lays there feeling the wetness inside her. Time goes by and her belly grows. When Thunder heard the news he was mixed with emotions about being a dad and her being a mother to his child. He was unsure about how this could have happened with a condom on. He vowed not to leave his child like his father left him, and he wanted to make sure it was his child. DNA test results 99.9%. After his son was born the tension between them grew. Londa plan failed, Thunder continued being a playboy, but he was still there for his boy. This made Londa even more vindictive and she made sure that Thunder’s life was gonna be a living hell. She sabotaged and plotted with and against all of Thunder’s friend and associates causing him to be friendless, he didn’t know. She often threatened to kill herself every time he decided to stop seeing her. She used Percy Jr. many times, if he didn’t do what she wanted him to do then he would never see his son. Of course, this was a very stressful time for Thunder and he wish he never met her, however he was in love with his son and can’t see his life without is offspring.
Londa ended up on welfare and had 2 more children by 2 different men trying to make Thunder Jealous, it didn’t work. She notices the direction Thunder life was going and she desperately wanted to be part of it. He was beginning to be very successful with his gym and being a trainer. Before she met Thunder, Londa was suited to attend college and her family was proud that she would be the first in their family to attend, but chasing after Thunder and suddenly getting pregnant, it caused her to go in a completely different direction and she regrets the day she went into that night club. Now with Chardonnay and Porcheletta along with Thunder’s son Percy Jr. to care for it makes her life difficult, makes her bitter, and she wants Percy Jenkins Sr. to suffer as much or more than she does and she won’t stop until she feels like it.
THE OTHELLO SHOW
“Hey Thunder you ready?” Robert asked.
“Just about. Robert, I was thinking, when I adopted the name Thunder I was not the person I am today. I know that I became the person I am today is because of my past, but I think I just wanna go by Percy Jenkins. Thunder is who I used to be, not that I regret my past struggles but I think I have changed even though these ghost are still trying to make me out to be that same villain,” Thunder said.
“I think that’s a good thing Thunder, I mean Percy. People have a hard time letting go of the past,” Robert said.
“Hey guys we go on in 5,” one of the Othella staff members tell Rob and Percy.
(Hair and make-up team is in Rob and Percy dressing rooms prepping them for the show.)
“I don’t want a lot of make-up; can you just take the shine out?” Percy says.
(Robert looks over at Percy and shakes his head with a slight smile. ‘Diva’ he mumbles.)
“…any special requests for you Robert, anything at all? And I do mean anything (he rubs Robert’s arm).” the male make-up artist flirts with Robert.
(Robert holds his left hand up to display his wedding ring.)
(The male make-up artist shrugs his shoulder ‘so’)
“No, just the usual,” Robert says.
(The show went on and was a great success, no murders, no surprises.)
“I’m so happy that everything went well (sighs hard),” Percy says.
“Did you have any doubt?” Robert asked.
(They leave the studio and are standing waiting for the transportation service.)
“Hello Bob,” she says seductively.
“Oh, hey. Hello,” Robert says with a slight roll of the eyes.
(She places her hands on his chest as she stands in front of him.)
“Don’t be like that Bobby Boy. I got your message. Sorry you didn’t do your homework on people you let invest in your business,” Francesca says and pinches his cheeks.
“Who is this?” Percy said admiring the power and sexiness of Francesca.
“Francesca, what are you doing here?” Robert said.
(Thunder, who can’t resist a beautiful woman, walks in front of Robert and extends his hand.)
“I’m Percy Jenkins, Robert’s business partner,” Thunder said with a huge grin on his face.
(Francesca snapped her fingers in Thunder’s face and suddenly two of her workers appeared and she continued her focus on her high school crush and now business partner.)
“I’m not interested in meeting you Percy, Thunder, or whatever your name is. Shouldn’t you be at home with that psycho baby momma of yours?” Francesca said in the most pleasant way.
‘Damn do everybody know about my business’ Thunder said to himself as he got out of the guards way.
“She is a huge investor in the store, Percy. And she just so happened to went to school with Carla and Sahralonda,” Robert said.
(Percy stood there in confusion)
“I’ll explain to you later, Percy,” Robert said.
“I hope so, because I can’t take any mo surprises. Next thing you know my private parts will be on display in Time Square.” Thunder said shaking his head and noticing the car pull up.
“Look Bobby (she grabs him by his balls) you can’t buy me out. If this is the only way I will have part of you then this is what I will settle for. It’s out of character for me to have my private investments on a television show. Ha! I don’t care! Bring me success!” Francesca says very dramatic and walks to her awaiting car, once inside the care speeds off down Michigan Avenue.
“Don’t look at me like that. I’ll explain everything in the car,” Robert told Percy.
“Please do, little Bobby,” Percy said sarcastically.
(Robert told Percy about the incident between Carla and Sahralonda and the manipulation she is trying to do. He also told him that his son is the bully that bullied Shy. He also filled him in on the past of Francesca.)
Percy is very upset about the news and especially that Robert was so selfish to keep the information to himself till after the taping of The Othella Show. He immediately called the police and reported the harassment and told them he has proof (the letter that was sent to him in New York.) Because of the history of Sahralonda the police department has no doubt the Percy was telling the truth.
CARLA/and Company
(Itt pushes Percy Jr.)
“Man I said I’m sorry,” Percy Jr. said.
(Itt stands in Percy Jr. face on the front yard at Shy’s house looking very upset almost like he wants to kill Percy Jr.)
Percy Jr. who is much shorter and smaller than Itt is visible scared. He is shaken and want to leave, but his mother made him come over to apologize so they all can get along for the sake of herself.
“C’mon Itt, he said he was sorry,” Shy said.
“They never mean it, I know. I used to be him,” Itt said.
“My mother dragged me over hear. Besides that was a month ago. We are all out of school. Well ya not. Wait. What do you mean you used to be me?” Percy Jr. said.
“You are a bully?” Shy asked Itt.
“I said used to be. Till I seen you getting bullied. I didn’t know you were so…” Itt said and stopped himself.
“…so what? Go on, finish. A wimp. A wuss. Go on, Itt. It’s okay. Just because I didn’t fight back don’t make me a bad person. A person who jumps on innocent people is bad, let’s not forget (Shy move his neck from side to side from soreness caused by Francesca’s grip). Is that why you came here Itt? To be my hero, to fight my battles. I don’t need anyone to fight for me. If he says he’s sorry then I forgive him. That’s how we were raised in my family (Shy grabs his own neck and move it side to side),” Shy said.
“What’s wrong with you’re neck?” Itt said.
“When she grab my neck, it stills (he shifts his neck some more) hurts. Never mind that,” Shy said.
“I really am sorry, Shy,” Percy Jr. said authentically.
(Itt looks at Percy Jr. and rolls his eyes letting him know he isn’t finished with him yet, despite Shy’s speech.)
“Come in the house, Shy,” Itt said.
“Why?” Shy said.
“I know this trick I can do for your neck,” Itt said.
“Can I come?” Percy Jr. asked.
“NO!” says Itt and at the same time “YEAH!” says Shy.
“No, we will be right back,” Itt said firmly and Shy said nothing.
(Percy Jr. climbs the stairs and sits in a chair on the porch.)
Inside of the house was a feeling of anticipation because it was time of the airing of The Othella Show. Carla and Sahralonda sat on the sofa in front of the television set like old friends waiting to see their Beau’s make their debut.
“Hey boys, Shy your dad’s about to be on T.V. now,” Carla said with a bowl of popcorn steadily emptying in her lap.
“I’ll catch it upstairs, mom,” Shy said.
All the children were coming downstairs to catch the show as Itt and Shy passed them on the way up. Inside the bedroom Itt asked Shy to take his shirt off.
“I’m not showing you my private parts. If we ever, it wouldn’t be here. I will always respect my parent’s home,” Shy said with laughter.
“Shut up. Take your shirt off so I wouldn’t get any of this on it (holding up a jar of Ben-Gay),” Itt said.
(Shy looks at the jar and chuckles.)
“That’s your great secret? Ben-Gay. Ben-Gay Itt. Really?” Shy said, (they both busted out laughing hysterically at the irony of the name).
(Shy slowly pulls his shirt off over his head)
Shy realize that this will be the first time Itt will see him without his shirt on in a lit room so he is hesitant.
“Shy, c’mon. Don’t try to be all shy na,” Itt said.
Itt eyes grew large when he seen the scars that covered Shy. Itt didn’t blink, he just stared and was a bit taken.
“Shy did he do that?” Itt asked.
“Who?” Shy asked.
“Percy,” Itt said and gotten off the bed and was about to teach Percy Jr. a lesson until Shy grab him, “No, I did,” Shy said.
“I don’t understand. Why…why…why would you do that?” Itt asked with concern.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were a bully?” Shy said and puts his shirt back on and ran out the room.
“SHY?!”
(Shy runs down the stairs pass the family room. He can hear his dad speaking on The Othella Show but didn’t take any interest.)
“Shy, dad’s on,” Brandy says.
“I don’t care. I hate this house!” Shy says as he continues to run out the house. He stands on the porch and notices Percy Jr. sitting in silence playing with his Gameboy ‘agh’ he thinks.
“What’s going on?” Percy Jr. asks.
“Shut up, you are the start of all this shit,” Shy said.
(Itt comes out to the porch.)
“GO HOME!” Shy shouts to Itt.
“What?!” Itt asked surprised and confused.
(Carla is standing in the door followed by Sahralonda.)
“Shy, come inside. Let’s talk about this,” Carla said concerned and confused about what’s going on.
“NO! Why is he here?”
(Carla walks and grabs Shy and pulled him inside the house.)
“I’m calling someone today. We thought Itt being here would make you forget about this. Sahralonda, I’m gonna have to ask you to leave. I’ll talk to you later,” Carla said.
“Maybe I can help,” Sahralonda said.
“Sahralonda, I’ll talk to you later. Okay?” Carla said firmly.
Sahralonda steps off the porch with a grin on her face and was suddenly vanished when a police car pulls up.
“Sahralonda it’s nice to see you again. We’re taken you in for violating your protection order regarding Percy Jenkins,” an officer says proudly.
“What?” Sahralonda asked.
“Let’s not pretend. We know how you operate,” the officer said.
(Carla is looking through the screen door from inside and come back out on the porch).
“So it is true. Robert was telling the truth about you. You used me,” Carla said.
“Can you please look out for my kids until I get this figured out?” Sahralonda asked Carla.
“No (in a high pitch tone), I’m not getting involved with you. Call a family member,” Carla said.
(As the officer is tugging at Sahralonda’s arm Percy Jr. looks embarrassed. This isn’t the first time he witness her going to jail.)
“You right, I was using you, and just like I’m making his life a living hell. I’m gonna make yours,” Sahralonda yelled.
“Kids go in the house,” Carla said.
“MY MOTHER IS CRAZY!” Percy Jr. shouts.
“SHUT UP DUMMY!” Sahralonda yells.
“We already called Child Services to pick up your kids,” an officer says.
“But he is 18. What’s gonna happen to him?” Sahralonda asked.
“You should have thought about that before this violation. C’mon let’s go, I have doughnuts waiting for me (he chuckles),” the officer says.
As the officers drive away with Sahralonda, Carla looks at a hurt and sad Percy Jr. as he watches the officers take his mother away. Carla walks toward Percy Jr. and place her hand on his shoulder and he follows her inside the house, “it will be okay, Percy. Everything always works itself out,” Carla says. Percy Jr. wraps his arms around Carla and didn’t want to let go.
Itt is trying to talk to Shy upstairs in his room and Shy is too embarrassed and reluctant to tell him anything.
Carla makes the phone call to a counselor and sets up an appointment. Once she is off the phone she goes into Shy’s room, asks Itt to go downstairs so she can be alone with Shy. “I made an appointment and I know you are embarrassed and you probably hate yourself right now, but you are not alone. A lot of people go through the same thing you are experiencing. I just want you to know that we will always be here for you and this will help you. You may not see it now but you will in the long run. By the way, off the subject, I finally got a chance to grade you and Itt papers and I have good news you both have enough credits to become high school graduates (she pats him on his back). Smile, Shy. Okay, I know you’re upset. Just come down stairs and sit with us for a while,” Carla said and gave her son a hug.
(Shy gets up and follows his mom downstairs.)
“Shy you alright?” Everybody asked.
(With a smile on his face) “Yes, I’m okay for now,” Shy said feeling loved and everybody gets up and gives him a hug even Percy Jr.
CHICAGO 6 p.m.
LAUREN
Lauren takes her same drive down the interstate to her home, texting and driving, is listening to Pandora Satellite Radio. She has is on upbeat music as she is fighting the Chicago rush hour. She gets a text from her brother, he is wishing her a safe trip and says he loves her. This makes her feel good but don’t help the longing for romantic companionship. She often thinks about Tracy and the harsh dilemma that he is going through and wishes that she can help him. ‘If only Tracy was a real dude I wouldn’t mind going out with him’ she says to herself. “Let me give him a call,” Lauren says.
(The phone rings four times and Lauren is about to hang up, she don’t want to leave a message, but Tracy answers).
“Hello.”
“Hey, I was just about to hang up.”
“I’m at home chilling. The Othella Show is about to come on.”
“I love that show. I Tivo it.”
“Lauren! Oh my God!”
“What Trace?”
“I have this dudes tapes (he laughs). This dude is a baker now. Is they gonna mention this on here.”
“Tracy, what are you talking about? You gon make me have anaccident. You got me nervous acting like that.”
“This old porn star dude is on The Othella Show, Thunder. He did gay porn, now he is acting like he straight. Him and this guy got this bakery or something in New York, that’s what she is featuring today. It must be big time if it’s on this show. (Long pause) oh he goes by Percy these days. Yeah he was a real player back in the days,” Tracy said.
“I just walk in my apartment (Lauren turns the T.V. on). Oh my God Trace, I used to date him when I went to Wayne State. You said he did gay porn (Lauren has a sour look on her face) ohhh that’s nasty,” Lauren said.
“Are you kidding me Lauren,” Tracy said.
“No, as a matter of fact, I almost had his baby. The condom broke, but I had an abortion. He never knew. (Short pause) Speaking of which, what were you doing at Jon’s,” Lauren asked.
“…ok so I go over there to confront him about his little schemes, because I don’t care what no clinic says. I know I’m pregnant. I’m getting ready to knock on the door and here is Janet walking up and suddenly before I even knock the door opens. His butler stands there with a towel. Of course she is just surprised to see me as I am of her. She was being the bitch as she usually is, but anyway. Jon comes into the foyer and pass him is Beth. You know Beth that used to sit next to me at the call center...” Tracy continue telling the story.
“Janet what are you doing here?”
“This is my husband’s house. You home wrecker. He sent for me if you must know,” Janet says.
(Tracy turns her attention to Jon.)
“Jon, why are you trying to force me to have your baby? I don’t want your damn baby or you. And you have your psycho wife back,” Tracy said.
“PREGNANT?! JON! BETH! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?” Janet says surprised.
(Janet storms passed Jon and runs after Beth.)
“It’s not what you think! She didn’t have anywhere to go,” Jon says.
“I can’t believe this shit, Jon. You are a dog. What kind of relationship you think you are going to have with this child you being like this?” Tracy says.
Janet snatches the towel off Beth leaving her with her private parts exposed and Beth slips on the marble floor. Beth boyfriend come running from a nearby room. “What’s all the fuss? What are you doing to my girlfriend?” Russ (Beth’s boyfriend) asked confused.
Janet stops pulling Beth’s hair. “Oh, my bad,” Janet says and walk down the staircase.
“Yo bad (sounding like a true white girl),” Beth said.
Beth runs and grabs Janet’s hair and snatches her and she falls on the hard marble stairs. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, bitch.” Beth said with rage.
Jon and Russ grab Beth and Tracy grab Janet to get her away from danger.
“Are you alright Janet?” Tracy asked.
“I don’t need this shit in my home! I told you it wasn’t what you thought. I’m not a monster and Tracy if you wanna know who has been setting you up look at the person next to you. Once she found out you were pregnant she used all her settlement money to pay people off. I have an investigator and the police on their way to arrest her. I’m not that stupid. I couldn’t tell you because we were building a case against the crazy bitch. If you don’t want to have a baby, I know I can’t force you. It’s completely your decision. I’m sorry that you went through so much,” Jon said.
“…so Janet went crazy and she is locked up in Pavilion Behavioral Health System. Beth and Russ was just living there temporary, Russ is getting a house built for them and their newborn that is on it’s way, but the house is behind schedule and their lease ran out so Jon offered them a room. Russ and Jon went to high school together. And I decided to keep my baby. But you Miss Innocent, (in whispered tone) you had an abortion? (Laughs) You were in a relationship with a gay porn star and his private parts are all in my video stash. Lauren you took all that?” Tracy said.
“Look, don’t judge me. I never said I was an angel. I’m looking at him now. He looks good, but gay? I don’t think so. He wasn’t gay when he was on this playground (Laughs),” Lauren said.
“I can give you the tapes,” Tracy said.
“Who in the hell owns VCR’s? I don’t think I wanna see that. I’ll take your word for it,” Lauren said while she googles Thunder and search for his videos.
“How is work?” Tracy asked.
“Work is work. I love it (laughs). So are you and Jon back together? I can’t believe Janet. I knew she would end up in a place like that one day. She needs the rest. I really feel sorry for her. I can’t believe she went out her way to make you keep that baby but make you believe that you weren’t pregnant. I don’t understand. Did she want you and Jon to be together or apart?” Lauren asked.
“Lauren, she wanted to kill my baby after I had it to get back at Jon. She wanted me to have it. She didn’t care if me and Jon was together or not. Her killing his child would have killed him. Yeah, the bitch is crazy. But I decide to have the baby but give Jon full custody. I would be in the baby’s life but the baby would stay with Jon. He is gonna pay for me to go to school full-time and take care of all my expenses,” Tracy explained.
“OH MY GOD! She is really crazy. I’m so glad you are okay,” Lauren said.
(Tracy hears moaning sounds coming from the receiving end.)
“Lauren. (pause) Lauren!”
“Huh?”
“Did you find videos of Thunder online? (Laugher) I’ll let you go enjoy that,” Tracy said.
“NO, (laughs) I was just curious,” Lauren said.
“Got ta go, bye,” Tracy said.
“Don’t judge me, bye boy,” Lauren said and thought about Tracy a little more and realizes she was touching her private part. “Stop it Lauren,” she mumbled to herself.
CHARLES ROMAN THE THIRD
“So I hear you working with the enemy, Tyrone? Today will be the last time you see me,” The Boss said.
“I swear Boss, I never worked for her. It was for your benefit. If I gather information from her side, I can be more of an asset for you. I swear,” Tyrone said with watering eyes.
“It’s already done,” The Boss gets up and leave the visiting room.
(1 HOUR LATER AT THE EXACT SAME TIME)
Charles Roman the Third sits at the table eating the awful prison dinner and notices a lot of ruckus in the room. It was more noise than normally and this made him panicky. He turns around to watch his back and he instantaneously feels a pinch in his chest and his heart starts to race and head begins to feel light. Everything begins to look double and unstable. The noise elevates as he glances up at the fluorescent lights just before his lids fastened.
“THE BOSS GOT SHANKED!” and inmate shouts and more chaos breaks out in the prison.
(1 HOUR LATER AT THE EXACT SAME TIME)
Tyrone cautiously watches his surroundings as he is walking through the airport. He is on his way to New Mexico to start a new life; especially since he knows he is a marked man. He approaches a TSA agent and thinks that he will get a routine security check. The agent asks Tyrone to follow him into a room for more inspection. The agent walks out the room alone and goes to a nearby bathroom and changes clothes. Tyrone never walks out the room, he was carried out on a gurney. The fake agent was never seen again.
Francesca received the recent news about her plans as they work out in her favor. She boards her private helicopter and instructs her workers that they will be recruiting and get ready for big changes. She is bound to Mexico for some fun in the sun. She feels a lady should always be a lady and get pampered as she often do. After having to take the role of a Boss Bitch she have many challenges and decisions that she conquers on a daily, so the bitch have to have some ‘me time’.
JACKIE/STACY
Jackie husband agreed to let Stacy stay with them until she gets on her feet. Because they live in a small home Stacy will have to slumber on the couch. Jackie had been searching for some reasonably priced rehab centers for Stacy to attend but in the meanwhile she had been giving her money for the drugs to keep her from the ruthless withdraws and keep her from getting money elsewhere like prostitution or even stealing from her family. Jackie tried to get Stacy a job at the bakery but Robert won’t allow it. He doesn’t trust Stacy and he don’t even want her in the bakery.
The bakery business has grown so big since the airing of The Othella Show and Jackie is working overtime. It is causing some family issues and she wishes that Robert would be more trusting to hire Stacy or simply just more people, but he is so focused on making a profit so that he can eventually buy Francesca out and also become the sole owner. Jackie has not had much time with her husband or her children because of the success of the bakery, but she is getting paid really good money. More money than she ever hopes that she would get paid, nearly the same as a big time CEO of a company. She is thinking about her kid’s future education and buying a bigger house. She was able to afford to put Stacy in a very good rehab center and her husband don’t have to work 70 hours a week like he used too.
Robert let Jackie leave early because the store was closing for renovations for 3 days. She knew that her husband would be at work and Stacy would be at the center. Her kids were at the baby center, so she would have a couple of hours to herself and nobody knew this but her and Robert. Jackie wanted to take a long bath and unwind to some soft music. She walked in the house and she can smell vanilla scent. She saw a flicker of light coming from her bedroom. She walked towards the bedroom and immediately ran the opposite way. She had tears in her eyes and she frantically ran out the house. She can’t believe what she just witnessed.
LAUREN
Lauren sits across from Becky (Jon’s receptionist) at a 5 star restaurant. They have become very close since their first encounter at Unigrow bonded by the dislike of Janet. They learned since that day that they have a lot of common interest. They both are single and looking for love, they both are educated women, they both like the same foods and clothes, they both are southern women with old fashion values, and they both enjoy the finer things in life, and last but not least they both can’t stand Janet.
“I went on a date with this guy, and call me picky, but he wore white socks with black dress slacks and dress shoes. He was a nice guy once you get pass the excruciating scent of Brute cologne,” Lauren says followed by laugher.
“You have the craziest stories, girl. You know I don’t get along with a lot of women. They are intimidated by me because I’m single and of course beautiful (laughs) just kidding, but I’m glad we get along. Single girlfriends don’t ever last and when they see that you have confidence it’s all over,” Becky said.
“Girl I hear you. I don’t pay that no mind. They just showing how and who they are and you wouldn’t want that anyway. Can you imagine if you did find a good man how they would act? Girl you gon have to watch them and who wants to deal with that drama. I say ‘show me who you are so I could pick the weeds out the bed of flowers’ (laugher),” Lauren said.
“Oh hear comes our food. By the way Lauren it’s on me this time,” Becky says.
“Girl it’s okay. You got to pay off those student loans. Plus I asked you to come,” Lauren said.
“Alright if you insist,” Becky says.
The waiter sets the food on the table. The pair looks at the dishes and is very impressed.
Lauren feels her cell phone vibrating in her purse. She looks at it and sees that it’s a text from Tracy.
‘I’m at Jon’s just so you know I’m alright. My phone will be off. I need to take care of this business with him. I promise it won’t be any trouble’
Becky notices that Lauren has a disturbed look on her face. “Is everything okay?” Becky asked.
Lauren looks up at Becky and puts on a fake smile, “Yeah, yeah, everything is okay. It’s nothing.”
THUNDER, ROBERT @ THE OTHELLA SHOW
“Ok, just let me say what everybody is thinking…..,” Robert said but was cut off by Othella.
“I’m sorry Robert, hold that though. We have to go to a commercial break. When we come back the boys will make there signature snack. You don’t wanna miss this. Come back to us after these messages on the Othella Show,” Othella said and suddenly her make-up and hair dresser comes and prep her for the next segment.
“OH SO WE BIG TIME NOW? WHEN YOU GON SUPPORT YOUR SON NIGGA?”
(Producer say’s…back in 5,4,3,2,…back on the air.)
“What are you doing here? I got a protection order against you,” Thunder said trying to stay calm.
“Ha, Ha, Ha, hello dear. Is this part of your presentation?” Othella said trying to mask the situation.
“Go to commercial, go to commercial!” Othella says.
Security grabs a fiesty Sahralonda and escorts her back stage and calls the police, but she is putting up a fight and they find it hard to hold her.
Robert stands there in disbelief and embarrassment.
BANG!!!!!! BANG!!!!!
“Call an ambulance!” a producer yelled.
It was pandemonium and chaos in the Othella Show studio and the audience scattered towards the exits.
“Yes, there was a shooting and there is no pulse. Can you get someone hear quickly please!?” a producer told the emergency operator.
Thunder drops the .38 as he watches Sahralonda lay on the floor.
“THUNDER! Thunder?” Robert says concern that Thunder has developed stage fright. Robert waves his hands and snaps his fingers in front of Thunder’s face.
“Is he okay?” Othella asked.
Robert begins to shake Thunder, “Thunder, Thunder, wake up,” Robert says as he stands over Thunder. “We only have an hour before we have to board the plane to Chicago.”
“Huh? I didn’t mean to. I didn’t mean to,” Thunder said slowly waking up out of his nightmare.
“You didn’t mean to what? Sounds like you had an interesting dream,” Robert said.
“Oh, yeah, I was dreaming?” Thunder said not sure what is reality and maybe a fantasy to him.
“You wanna tell me about it?” Robert asked.
“Umm, no it’s okay. Just a crazy dream (he laughs),” Thunder said with relief entering his pounding heart.
“Alright, well start packing. I found this note for you, it was at the front door,” Robert hand Thunder the note.
Thunder opened the note that had a light jasmine scent. “It’s from Londa,” Thunder said surprisingly and wondered how she knew he was in New York.
“Londa? Sahralonda?” Robert asked.
“Yeah, we call her Londa. I don’t why her momma named her that ghetto name. Most people can’t even pronounce it,” Thunder said while opening the note.
Dearest Thunder,
You didn’t think that I would find you and know what your plans are. But I have a surprise for you when I see you. See we gon get married. You are gonna be with me so you need to stop playing yo little ass game. That order of protection don’t mean nothing to me because believe it or not, if I can’t have you nobody will. Smooches smooches.
Your Wife,
Sahralonda Jenkins
p.s.
Jenkins….got a nice (ring) to it don’t it? Love you.
________________________
Thunder starts to tear the note up until Robert grabs his hand and stops him.
“Hey don’t be stupid. Obvious that note doesn’t have anything good in it. You save that and show that to the police. Are you crazy,” Robert said and points his finger at his head gesturing Thunder to think before he reacts.
Robert’s cell phone rings.
“Hey honey. Yeah we are up. Just doing a little last minute packing,” Robert says and hears an unfamiliar voice in the background. “Do you have company?”
“Yes, it’s Thunder’s wife. She came by to apologize and we had been just talking about the kids. I know that…” Carla was cut off by Robert.
“What do you mean Thunder’s wife? They aren’t married. How long have she been their?” Robert said with anger in voice.
“Well honey change your tone. What’s got into you? I know what I told you about her, but she felt bad and apologize especially since I helped her with her head injury from Francesca,” Carla said in a higher pitch than her normal voice.
“Get her out of that house. She is no good. He has a protection order against her. (Silence on the other end) Hello, are you there?” Robert said.
Thunder comes out of the bathroom with an astonished look on his face, “Is everything ok?”
Robert looks at Thunder but don’t say anything. He don’t want to risk Thunder not attending The Othella Show by telling him his estranged ex is with Carla.
“Robert, it’s so nice to finally talk with you. I’m sorry for the trouble that I put you and your family through. Maybe when you get back we can talk about it over coffee, huh? Tell Thunder I will be seeing him soon,” Sahralonda said is such a pleasant tone.
“Get the hell out my house and put my wife back on the phone,” Robert said in a low but heated pitch.
“Who is that?” Thunder asked.
“I know it was just a misunderstanding. Thunder likes to be kept on his toes. That’s why he loves me. I will give the phone back to your wife, chow,” Sahralonda said with such grace and completely ignoring what Robert said.
“It’s her sister, Janet,” Robert lied to Thunder.
Thunder walks back into the bathroom. He doesn’t want to interfere with Robert’s family business, remembering when Robert told him ‘it’s not your affair and to stay out of it’.
“See honey, you are overreacting. Wait till you get to know her. After all that mess we went through, I understand why she reacted they way she did. You just need to watch Thunder (Carla said in a low tone, not wanting Sahralonda to hear) he is just a cheater. That’s why she was acting like that,” Carla said.
“Carla, you don’t know this lady….”
“You never even meet her. I thought we were a family of acceptance and non-judgment. That’s what we teach our children. I’m hanging up now. Have a safe flight. I love you. Good bye,” Carla said and hangs the phone up.
“AGHH!!” Robert yells.
From a distant in the apartment an echoing Thunder yells, “Dude, calm down. She knows how to handle Janet.” Thunder has no clue that Londa has Carla in the palm of her hands.
STACY, JACKIE, THUNDER (PERCY), ROBERT
“Remember when I left the home to move in with Percy, well Thunder is Percy. When we got to his apartment he had a bunch of women there all over him. So I didn’t move in, but when I was on the street with Itt, the guy that you shot picked us up and he gave me drugs and I have be strung out every since and he has been taken care of us from a distant. But if Percy wasn’t such a dick head I would not be addicted to drugs, you see. It wasn’t my choice. He gave me drugs to control me because Itt is his son, but Itt don’t know,” Stacy told Jackie standing outside of the bakery.
Robert standing in the doorway listening to this story and he come out to where the girls are. “Did you say you have a child name Itt?”
Thunder is standing besides Robert with sadness in his eyes feeling sorry for Stacy.
“Get that dumb look off your face, Percy,” Stacy told Thunder.
“Yeah my 18 year old name is Itt, I don’t know where he is. He doesn’t want anything to do with me so he left,” Stacy said.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t know,” Jackie said and gave her sister a hug.
“Stacy, Itt is at my house in Minnesota. He has been there for weeks. We have been trying to get in touch with you and the number we have don’t work anymore. He is ok. Did you know he was in an accident?” Robert said.
“He’s at your house? Well how did he end up there? Yes Charles told me about the accident and let me know that he was alright,” Stacy said.
“Well, did this Charles person know where he was at and if so why didn’t he tell you?” Robert asked.
“Look man I don’t know, I don’t even know why he left. What I do know is that man right there (she points at Thunder) ain’t shit,” Stacy said.
“Stacy that was a long time ago, he seems to be a nice guy. Just like you changed everyone changes,” Jackie said in Thunder defense.
“Look Stacy I’m not that guy anymore. A whole lot of shit has happened that I’m not proud of. I never told you that you can’t stay, you decided that. I’m sorry for the way your life has turned out but it’s not completely my fault. You can go on hating me for as long as you want, at this point it won’t change the pass,” Thunder said.
“I’m gonna call my wife and let her know that we have found you,” Robert said.
Robert walks back into the store and goes into the office and calls Carla.
“Hey honey?” Robert said.
“Hey Robert, I was just about to call you. It is crazy around here and I’m about to loose my mind. I got into a fight with Janet……”, (she told him about the events that took place)
“Honey I’m so sorry that you went through that...” Robert said.
“Robert, somebody is at the door. Hold on,” Carla said.
Carla walks to the door. “Yes, can I help you?”
“It’s me.”
Carla opens the door and there stand Janet with crocodile tears running down her pale face. “I’m so sorry. Can I come in? I don’t want to stay; Jon is wiring me some money for an airline ticket. It’s just that it’s gonna be a couple hours. I don’t wanna fight anymore. I think I need help,” Janet said.
“I have Robert on the phone. Come in,” Carla said.
Carla gets back on the phone with Robert and tells him it’s Janet.
“So Francesca, huh? She completely looks different then she did in high school,” Robert said.
“Yeah, she is beautiful. But she has an ugly attitude. Is there anyway that we can buy her out?” Carla said.
“I’m sorry honey, we can’t afford to buy her out just yet and from what I hear she isn’t gonna be happy being bought out. I don’t know what we can do. Maybe I can talk to her,” Robert said.
“When you talk to her I want to be there,” Carla said with insecurity in her voice.
“Honey you don’t have to worry,” Robert assured her.
“She just has such sensuality and you did used to date,” Carla said.
“I never dated her. Her brother Diablo was my best friend that is all. I knew she liked me but she was very strange. Don’t worry honey,” Robert said.
Thunder walks into the office and sits on the other side of Robert’s desk.
“That reminds me, Itt’s mother is here, the woman I hired to run the store, is Itt’s aunt and his mother Stacy is here. Everything he told us is true. I don’t think it would be a good idea for him to come here with her. She is really strung out on drugs,” Robert said.
“You can’t do that, that’s her son,” Thunder said eavesdropping on Robert’s conversation.
“Hold on honey,” Robert said and put his hand on the mouth piece of the phone so Carla wouldn’t hear, “this isn’t your affair, stay out of it, okay?”
Thunder gets up out of the chair and walks out of the office. He sees the sisters chatting and catching up. Stacy looks over at Thunder and rolls her eyes.
“Don’t be like that, Stacy. We really need to get you some help. This is a real mess. I want to help you and Itt. I can ask my husband if it’s alright that you stay with us for awhile,” Stacy said.
“THUNDER!” Robert yelled from his office.
Thunder walks from the lobby back into Robert’s office.
“Close and lock the door and have a seat. Let me know what’s going on,” Robert said.
“Okay, here’s my story. I was born in Detroit and moved to New York and now reside in Minnesota. I did a lot of things in my youth. Drugs, alcohol, I even did porn. Porn is where I made the money to buy the gym and start my business. Once it start being successful I quit the industry. I have a son and I have a protection order against his mother. She is putting me through a lot of shit,” Thunder said.
“Yeah, apparently she is putting my wife through shit too. Excuse my French. Her and my wife had a situation just like my son and your son. We need to figure this out. I need to know that there aren’t any surprises with us doing business together, especially if it’s gonna harm the success and our friendship. I know that people change and situations change, but sometimes things aren’t at rest and needs to be dealt with once and for all. We have a big day coming up with the taping at Othella and I don’t wanna be pulled up in any scandals. So do what you have to do. We only have two days before we have to be in Chicago. Oh and Stacy. What’s the deal with that?” Robert asked.
“I don’t know. The day she said she came over I must have had a few ladies over entertaining me and she must have gotten upset and the rest is history. I have not heard from her since she lived in the home as a young girl. All what she is accusing me of, I had no idea. I can’t fix that,” Thunder said.
“Yeah, true. But she has to leave. It’s bad for business. Tell Jackie that she has to continue her reunion after work,” Robert said.
JON
Jon sits in his study listening to Jodeci’s song on repeat ‘So You’re Having My Baby’ and watching his sharks in his 10 foot aquarium. He wonders if he had did that one thing different would he be in the position he’s in now, that one thing that possibly cost him a lot of regret. Tracy crosses
his mind and he feels bad about the pain that he inflicted upon him because of his selfishness. The song starts over again. He walks over to the player and press eject. He feels that he is losing himself. Suddenly he hears Janet’s voice ‘Jon, Jon’ he puts his hands up to his ears to cover the noise that once haunted him in nightmares. The light from the hallway crept inside of the dark room making Jon aware that someone is
entering and there stand a member of Jon’s staff, “sir, Lady Janet awaits you outside of your window,” Reginald the butler informs Jon and points to the window that framed the white pale face. A vulnerable Jon walks to the window and lifts, “what are you doing out there in the rain? Reginald open the front door,” Jon said.
Reginald opens the front door to a soaking wet Tracy and then sees a soaking wet Janet running from around the side of the house.
Jon enters the foyer and sees past his butler these two wet figures, one with anger and one with relief on their faces.
“Who’s letting that air in?”
A woman comes walking into the foyer with a robe on partially wet from a warm shower.
“BETH!!” Tracy and Janet said in unison.
(In case you forgot, Beth is the girl that sat next to Tracy at the call center, in the first episode)
OTHELLA SHOW
“Good morning, welcome to the Othella Show. Oh boy, we have a treat for you today. One of my producers who shall remain nameless is always on the lookout for low-fat treats. They came across these goodies that will make you slap yo momma. I always wonder what can be so good that you would put yourself in that much trouble. ‘Slapping yo momma’ (laughter from Othella and the audience). Well, anyway it also will help you slim your waistline. By a show of hands, how many people can use a treat as such? Great! I know many American’s, including myself has and still is battling the bulge so I can use snacks like that. With obesity on the rise in this country for many years and the addiction to sugar and carbs we can all use the help. I have tried these
sweet treats myself and I can’t tell you how delicious it is, so we will just
let you try it for your self. So ‘WHAT’S THE SKINNY!” television host Othella said as a crew of extremely fit men and women parade the isles with trays of assorted treats from Robert and Thunder’s remarkable new idea.
Robert and Thunder walk nervously onto the stage and stand behind the work station that was set up for them.
“Welcome Robert Dacosta and Percy “Thunder” Jenkins to the Othella Show. Hi fellows, how are you doing?” Othella said as she walked her 4 foot 6 inch 165lb frame towards them and shakes there hand.
“Good morning, I have to say it’s an honor to be here,” Robert said.
“Look at what we have here. Whole wheat flour, honey, flaxseed, you guys look like you know your stuff,” Othella said.
“I have been in the fitness (Othella feels Thunder’s bicep’s) business since I was a kid and always was looking for innovative ways to help our kids especially and adults eat what they love, but healthy,” Thunder said.
“I know that we have these, how do I say this? These snacks that are low fat in our local groceries. What makes ‘What’s the Skinny’ by the way
guys I love the name, what make’s these snacks different or better than those?” Othella ask while she looks at Robert and wonders how he can promote these snacks with him being as big as he is.
“Our food, not snacks, is fresh and not processed and we use real ingredients. You won’t find a long shelf life with our food, because it is fresher. We don’t use preservatives and additives,” Thunder said.
“Ok, just let me say what everybody is thinking…..,” Robert said but was cut off by Othella.
“I’m sorry Robert, hold that though. We have to go to a commercial break. When we come back the boys will make there signature snack. You don’t wanna miss this. Come back to us after these messages on the Othella Show,” Othella said and suddenly her make-up and hair dresser comes and prep her for the next segment.
“OH SO WE BIG TIME NOW? WHEN YOU GON SUPPORT YOUR SON, NIGGA?”
(Producer say’s…back in 5,4,3,2,…back on the air.)
“What are you doing here? I got a protection order against you,” Thunder said trying to stay calm.
ITT, SHY, CARLA, FRANCESCA
Itt sees the light of the sun peeking through a small crack from a boarded window. He doesn’t hear any noise from the assuming close rooms. He scoots the chair that he is tied too up against a close wall and tries to feel for a sharp object or anything useful to free him from the bondage of the ropes. After an hour scooting from one wall to the
next he has gotten lucky. He rubs the rope on an abrasive object until it is left with only a few threads, he breaks the remaining of the threads and frees himself. He creeps around the dark room feeling for a door or some type of exit and he has no luck. He remembers the boarded window and he starts to pry the wood back. With the board now released he is now faced with bars on the window bolted on the outside of the building. With only the light from the window for him to see he notices that the door had no handle. He puts his ear to the door to hear if anyone was outside guarding the door or if anyone was in this building at all. He hears nothing. He kicks the door, it doesn’t budge. He looks out the window and sees a figure walking. Being careful not to invite his new found enemies to his rescue he waits till the person is closer in view. It was a lady with a suitcase and appears to be in a roughed up state, her hair wrapped in a scarf and her clothes is lacking a press. He notices the face even with its bruises it is still familiar to him.
He whispers as she is about to pass the building, “Janet?”
She doesn’t hear him at first so he repeats louder.
“Ike, is that you? They have been looking for you,” Janet said.
“It’s Itt not Ike. I was taken by these people and they locked me in this room”, Itt said.
“You can’t get out?” Janet asked.
“No, can you help me?” Itt said.
“Ike, look. Your mother-in-law just kicked my ass and through me out the house. I have my own problems. I don’t know what type of ghetto mess you got yourself into, but I am not interested,” Janet said.
“Can you just call for help, please?” Itt begged.
Janet looks at the poor boy and rolls her eyes in irritation.
“Fine”, she pulls her cell phone out and calls Carla.
Carla sits in a dark bedroom crying and the only light in the room is from her vibrating phone which she is ignoring. She can’t believe how she has been out of control from these damaged people. It really has put her in a bad head space. She glances over at her cell phone and sees that it is Janet, she decided she don’t want to argue with her and she has washed her hands with the evil spirit that lives within her sister.
“I know you see that it is me calling, but I just want to tell you that Ike is locked up in this building and he can’t get out. He is on Hillshire and Jackson,” she hangs up the phone. “Okay, I did my civic duty. She didn’t answer so I left her a message,” Janet told Itt.
Carla decided to check her voice mail. After she hears her sisters’ Janet voice mail regarding Itt she immediately runs into the bathroom and washes her face and calls out to Shy.
Shy hears his mothers call and he puts a bandage on his upper arm that he just sliced with a razor and nervously pulled up his pants as he heard his mothers’ heavy steps walking closer to his room.
Brandy and the other kids hear the commotion and curiously ran up the stairs to see what was going on.
“I got a message and I know where Itt is,” Carla told Shy as she notices a blood stain on his shirt. She points to the stain. “What is that, Shy?” Carla
question Shy with concern and anger.
The kids were just as concern as Shy and Carla. They grew a fondness for Itt as if he was part of the family.
“I was shaving and I must have cut myself, it’s completely dry. It’s an old t-shirt. I promise it’s not what you think,” Shy trying to convince his mother.
“We will talk about it later, Shy,” Carla said.
Shy and Carla went to the location where Itt was. They saw him looking through the bars of the abandoned building. Shy runs over to the barred window.
“Hey, are you alright?” Shy asked.
“Yeah, just hurry and get me out of here,” Itt said.
“We are gonna have to call the fire department,” Carla said and she pulled out her cell phone and dialed 9-1-1.
As soon as Carla ended the called they heard gun fire. Carla, Shy, and Itt all jumped and went for cover.
“There’s that bitch!” a gang of three women appeared walking fast toward Carla and Shy.
“Yeah bitch, you thought you were getting off that easy. Now let me show you how we do it Rosanne Barr,” a woman said.
Carla stood and told Shy to run and call for help. “What would Thunder say about your behavior, you know he’s in New York with my husband,” Carla said.
“What the hell did you say? How do you know Thunder? Is he sleeping with your chunky ass?” the woman said.
“No dear, him and my husband is in business together,” Carla said.
“Your lying bitch, Thunder is in Chicago. That’s what he told me,” she said as her and the group walks closer to Carla.
Carla back is against the wall of the building. Shy is talking to the police on one side of the building and Itt is looking through the bars.
“Sahralonda, why are you having conversations with that bitch? Gon and tap that ass”, one of the crew members yelled.
BANG! BANG! (Gun shots)
Francesca Tagliano walks from around the building with Shy neck in her grip while holding a pistol up in her other hand and four of her workers seemed to appear from thin air.
“Looks like we have a bit of a reunion,” Francesca Tagliano said.
Sahralonda and Carla, you bitches made my life in school a living hell and here we are all together and look who has the power now.
“I’m sorry; I don’t know who you are?” Carla said.
“She’s the lady that kidnapped me!” Itt said.
Carla looks at Shy with sadness and helplessness, “Are you okay? You not hurt are you?”
“No, but….,” Shy said but with the jerk and pinch of Francesca grip he shut-ed up.
“Shut up boy or I will hurt your momma and your little boyfriend. It’s amazing what plastic surgery can do. I’m not the fat, pizza face girl anymore, I’m (with roll of the tongue) Francesca Taliano, bitches,” Francesca said.
“Francesca?” Carla and Sahralonda questioned in unison and looks at each other.
Francesca pushes Shy to the ground and walks right in front of Carla, standing face to face. When she reached Carla, Sahralonda and her
crew starts to run. But without even turning around Francesca stops them by firing another round into the sky. “DON’T YOU MOVE!” Francesca yells. “Get a close look Carla, you took Robert from me in 9^th grade. We were high school sweethearts and now look at what he ended up with. I know all about your business in New York. Where do you think he got the money to start it up? He didn’t even know it was me. Yeah, he is
still so naive and stupid. So I own you and Big Poppa,” Francesca said.
“YOU GET OVER HERE! And the rest of you can leave. Consider your selves lucky,” Francesca demanded Sahralonda to stand next to Carla. “Sahralonda…...” Francesca said but was cut off when Sahralonda recognized her. “Francesca, that’s you?” Sahralonda asked.
“Don’t make nice with me. You were just a bitch in 10^th grade, and I see you are still ghetto trash,” Francesca said.
“Yeah bitch I remember, and if you didn’t have that gun in your hand I would be wooping yo ass like I did in school, ” Sahralonda said.
Francesca hit Sahralonda with the back of the gun and she instantly hit the ground. Sahralonda place her hand on the throbbing pain and felt the warmness of blood.
Four police cars arrive and the officers get out and pull out their guns. Francesca’s men were gon and she was still facing Carla. Francesca had her hands up and as an officer approaches he recognizes her.
“Francesca? How you doing?” the officer asked.
The officer raises his hand to the other officers to signal that everything is okay.
“Oh, hey Paul Garrette. Right?”
“Yeah!”
Francesca leans in a gives him a kiss on his cheek. She turns around and whispers to Carla and Sahralonda ‘this isn’t over’.
“Hey arrest her. She kidnapped the boy in there and she had us at gun point. Don’t you see her head bleeding? Can you call for EMS? What the hell is going on? You just gon let her go. I want your badge number, Paul Garrette,” Carla demanded.
The officer grab Carla arm and pulled her to the side. Meanwhile, Francesca watches with a smirk on her face.
He whispers to her, “look little lady (while he looked at her body and realizes she isn’t little) look lady, you don’t know who you dealing with. She is the mayors’ niece and I’m sure it’s just a misunderstanding. We will get the boy out. Trust me when I say this ‘this never happened’ have a good day,” Officer Paul Garrette said and walk back towards Francesca with a smile on his face.
TRACY
Tracy wakes up in a hospital bed. He touches his belly, it still feels the same. The room is
warm and he hears the beeps from the machines and chatter outside of the room. He sits up and sees cards and flowers in the room and Lauren. Lauren is passed out in a chair and her attire is a business suit. She must have come from work. Tracy looks for a clock on the wall and finds it, it reads 8:04 but he is not sure if it is am or pm.
“Lauren. Lauren.” Tracy tries to speak but his voice is low and extra raspy.
Tracy figures it must be 8:04 am because Lauren didn’t budge to wake up, so she must be really tired. She had to have slept here all night.
A nurse walks in and gets a wooden stick and tells Tracy to open her mouth and say ‘Aghhhhhhh’ Tracy does so.
Once the nurse is done Tracy asks the nurse, ‘how’s the baby?’
“I don’t have children,” the nurse answered.
“No, how is my baby?” Tracy asked.
“I don’t understand. There is no baby,” the nurse answered.
“I was pregnant before I got here, and you telling me there is no baby,” Tracy said getting
angry.
“We did a pregnancy test and found you are not pregnant. When did you take a test and
it said you were pregnant?” the nurse asked.
“A couple weeks ago I found out I was 6 weeks,” Tracy said.
“Ok, we will do another one just to be on the safe side,” the nurse said and she left the room.
“What did she say? She said you are not pregnant?” Lauren said and Tracy now realizing that
she is woke.
“Yeah, that’s what she said. But we will see,” Tracy said.
“Yeah, ok. Now tell me Trace, what were you thinking? Why would you go looking for trouble? Now you know me being here puts me in an awkward position. But you know my brother stays around there and he called the EMS and then he called me,” Lauren said with concern in her medium to high pitch voice.
“Jon got money and apparently he wants to make sure I stay pregnant. I called so many clinics
today, Lauren and nobody would help me. I’m not ready to be a parent and I don’t wanna carry a baby full term,” Tracy said and didn’t continue because the nurse walked back into the room.
“Miss, can I ask you to step out for a little bit?” The nurse asked Lauren.
“Sure. Tracy I’m gonna be just outside the door,” Lauren said.
“Have you decided what you want for dinner? It’s a little late but we can manage,” the nurse asked Tracy.
“Late? What time is it?” Tracy asked.
“Its 8:15,” the nurse answered.
“AM or PM?” Tracy asked.
“PM.”
“I thought I been here over night. So this happened to me today, right?” Tracy asked.
(The nurse is giving Tracy another pregnancy test)
“Yes, hold still. Alright I got it. I will be back with your results,” the nurse said.
Lauren walks back into the room. “Ok, so now what?”
“She just gave me another test. I’m waiting on the results,” Tracy said.
“You know that was really dangerous. You could have been killed, Trace. I can’t believe that you went to those lengths to lose your baby and I’m shocked at Jon for being such a pig. He has been such an ass at the office. I keep my distant. Have you heard from Janet?” Lauren said.
“No, she’s with her sister. She lost it. She lost her mind,” Tracy says with a chuckle. “It’s not how I
picture things would turn out. I was supposed to work and go to school and become a lawyer. I can’t have this baby. I’m so used to being in control and having my life planned. I wish I never met Jon. And Janet.” Tracy said
“Well luckily Kenneth found you and you seem to be holding up ok. You were the first person I met
when I moved here. You were trying to mack on a sister. You are the best male friend I have and if something happen to you, I’ma kill you,” Lauren said.
The nurse walks back into Tracy’s room.
“It’s okay, you can say it in front of her,” Tracy gave the nurse permission to give her the results in front of Lauren.
“Sure, it’s negative. You are not pregnant and we don’t show any signs that you were ever pregnant,” the nurse said.
Tracy looked at Lauren and Lauren is looking at the nurse with an astonishing look on her face.
THUNDER
Percy “Thunder” Jenkins (36) was born in the ghettos of Detroit, MI. mainly on the eastside near Mack and Van Dyke. He was raised like many boys in the inner city, only by his mother. He never knew who his dad was and didn’t care to know. He had many uncles that his mother introduced to him, but they never stayed around long enough to really know him and be a male figure for him to
look up too.
At the age of 14 Thunder and his mother had an appalling fight regarding one of his so-called uncles. Thunder revealed to his mother, Bertha, that Uncle Frank had touched him unsuitably. His mother strung out on drugs and always put men before her son, called him a liar and got physically
abusive towards this 125 lb young boy. He found himself on the streets sleeping from one house to another and turn to prostitution for survivor. By the age of 16 Percy started to sell drugs and was able to have his own apartment. He adapted the name Thunder when he started to work out at the age of 17 by one of the community center members. Percy would lift very heavy weights in the community center gym and had a terrible habit of dropping them. The weights made an atrocious thunderous
sound, and that’s when a member nicknamed him Thunder and broke him out the habit. Although he lifted weights it seemed he never got much bigger and he gave up on the lifting and started
having obsessions with the females. He was a big player in the neighborhood until he hooked up with the wrong girl who just so happens to have a boyfriend that ran Thunder out of town so Percy
“Thunder” Jenkins started new roots in the Bronx, New York.
He had heard that New York was the town of opportunities and with his slender tone and handsome face he figure maybe he can get into the modeling business. He hustled up and had head shots taken and managed to meet some industry big leagues. He got a contract with an agency that convinces him that this is a way to start modeling. The contract was with Male Mayhem a porn agency that specializes in gay porn. Thunder was impressed with the figures that he would be paid, but not so impressed with the work. Thunder made very good money in the agency but was not happy. He started to use drugs as much as he used women to cover that fact that he was ‘gay for pay’.
ROBERT
Robert and Thunder has been getting a lot of attention every since they’ve offered to do a taping on The Othella Show. Robert is so excited about
his first time on national television and more excited that he is doing it with
his new found best friend Thunder.
Today is the day that Robert cuts the ribbon and opens ‘What’s the Skinny Pastries and Stuff’. He interviewed a young lady by the name of
Jackie who seems enthusiastic and has some business sense to run the new bakery. After discussing it with his partner Thunder, they decided to hire her.
Robert wishes that Carla could be there to share the joy of opening the bakery, but she insisted of staying home with the kids, especially Shy and Itt. Shy and Itt had to be home schooled this summer since they both had rough senior years.
With local reporters, cameras, crowds of people, and even the Mayor made the day more exciting for the dual. “5, 4, 3, 2, 1 WHAT’S THE SKINNY!!!! Everyone yelled and counted down the time till the noon hour and Robert
cut the ribbon. Jackie, a gracious host she was, had plenty of sample trays made up. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, except Thunder. Robert was looking for Thunder for a photo opt and when he finally spotted the 6 foot 5 inch man through the crowd he appeared to be shouting at someone on his cell phone.
Robert took a few pictures for the newspapers and excused himself. He pursued towards Thunder through the crowd. He didn’t want to get Thunder anymore upset than he already was so thankfully Thunder was done with the cell phone conversation once Robert approach him.
Robert throws his hand up and says with a lot of enthusiasm. “WHAT’S THE SKINNY!!”
“Oh hey Robert, yeah umm, what’s the skinny,” Thunder said not matching Robert’s enthusiasm but more in a low and sad tone.
“Well, is everything alright, Thunder?” Robert asked concerned.
“BULLY?!!” Jackie asked.
Thunder’s head swiftly turned at Jackie as if she knew something she shouldn’t. “I will catch up with you later Robert and we will talk then, but right now I have to go.” Thunder said and walked off.
“Did I say something wrong?” Jackie asked Robert.
“No, you didn’t Jackie. How do you like the Bully-claw?” Robert said
to Jackie while periodically watching Thunder in the distant.
“Well, I didn’t try it?”
“You should, it is a Bear-claw technically but the Bully have 15 grams of protein and all the B vitamins, so it’s not bad to have after a workout or before. It packs a punch, a sucker punch, so we call it The Bully-claw, yeah Thunder came up with the name,” Robert explained to Jackie.
“I’m really worried about him,” Jackie said.
“Well, little lady you let me handle that. You just keep making the
customers happy. Everything will work out”, Robert said.
Robert feels in his pockets for his cell phone only to realize he left it back at the store. Once inside the store he sees that Carla has been calling him. He calls her back immediately hoping that everything is ok.
(one sided conversation)
“Hey dear, how are you and the kids?” Robert asked
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Oh my, are you ok? Do you need me to come home?” Robert said
concerned.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Thunder’s WHAT?” Robert said angrily.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Is this some type of set up? I trusted this guy,” Robert said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Yeah it better be a very good explanation. I didn’t even know he
had a family, let alone an insecure bully of a son,” Robert said.
Just as Robert is having the conversation Thunder stands there in the door way of Roberts’ office.
“Who are you talking about Robert?” Thunder asked.
“Hold on honey, as a matter of fact let me call you back.” Robert pushes ‘end’ on his cell phone and walks towards Thunder, with his belly touching Thunder and his head just below Thunders’ chin. “Your son is the one
that has been bullying Shy,” Robert said angrily as he bumps Thunder with his belly.
“WHAT!? I didn’t even know he went to Shy’s school”, Thunder said with anger.
“THUNDER, HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT SCHOOL YOUR KID ATTENDS? THAT BANANAS!” Robert yelled.
“Robert it’s a long story. That’s what I wanted to talk to you about. I’m sorry about the bullying, but I had no idea,” Thunder said.
‘Tenemos gente Buena y ayudamos a la gente y la gente quiere hacer dano por nosotros' Robert turns back towards his desk mumbling to himself in his native language spanish.
(we’re good people and we help people and people want to do harm by us)#in english
“Hello” (knock knock knock) “Hello”
“This area is for employees only ma’am, I’ma have to ask you to go to the lobby,” Thunder said politely.
“I’m looking for my sister. I think she works here,” Stacy said.
Thunder is staring at Stacy as if they are the only ones on the planet.
“Hello, does my sister work here? Her name is Jackie”, Stacy asked again.
“Thunder!” Robert yelled.
Thunder shakes his head and extends his hand to Stacy, “Have we met before?
“Umm, I don’t think so”, Stacy said.
“Are you sure maybe about 12 years ago maybe?” Thunder said.
“Honey, I can’t remember 5 minutes ago and you talking over a decade, I have met a lot of men in 12 years but never one that remembers me.” Stacy said as she stands there with her hands on her hip.
“Well I was a boy back then and I did a lot of people wrong,” Thunder said.
“Why are you telling me this?” Stacy asked.
“Stacy it’s me Percy,” Thunder said.
She takes a good look at Thunder, “well, well, well, Percy Cornroll Jenkins. Look at you, all buff and stuff.”
Stacy walks over to Thunder looking as to give him a hug but instead deck him in the chin.
“YOU LEFT ME OUT THERE WITH MY SON. MY LIFE COULD HAVE BEEN SO DIFFERENT. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT
HAPPENED TO ME THAT NIGHT, YOU ARE A MONSTER!!”
“Stacy?” Jackie says as she walks in the office.
Stacy walks out the office yelling, “YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!”
Jackie goes after Stacy. They stand outside the bakery. Stacy breathing is heavy and tears are rolling down her face.
“Stacy, what’s going on?” Jackie asked concerned.
“Jackie, Thunder is Percy, he left us on the street and I got tricked into drugs”, Stacy said.
“Thunder is Percy, your ex-boyfriend that left you and Itt on the streets?” Jackie said.
CARLA/JANET/KIDS
“I just got off the phone with your dad and told him what happened, he was very upset,” Carla said.
“Mom that was amazing,” Brandy said.
“I wanna gansta bitch with a gansta booty”, Janet raps.
“JANET! The Children! Look I don’t condone violence, I was protecting my son. She was a grown lady, she had no right to hit him,” Carla said.
“Who hit who?” Thomas asked. Thomas is Shy’s 12 year old
brother who is very into music. He has his own band and they seem serious about their craft to be so young. Carla and Robert bought Thomas a drum set when he was 6 years old because since he was a toddler he likes to beat things with his hand and it always had a funky beat.
“Mom and I just had a scuffle with Thunders’ girlfriend or wife and his son,” Shy said.
“Mom was amazing,” Brandy repeated.
“Mom you had a actual fight?” Thomas asked.
SHY
Shy walk into his room and locks the door, he goes into his box and pulls out a scrap piece of paper with Thunders number on it.
“Why isn’t he answering?” Shy says to himself.
He thinks about his sister being so brave and his mother actually caring about Itt to go look for him. He grabs a pair of sneakers and put them on. When he walks outside of his bedroom door he trips and falls on his face. He looks up and it is his brother Ryan. Ryan is 14 years old and is the
practical joker of the house.
Shy picks himself up and looks at his brother. Ryan is laughing
hysterically. “You know what I really don’t have time to deal with you right now,” Shy said.
“Can I go with you?” Ryan asks.
“No, it might be dangerous,” Shy answered.
“Well, who’s gonna protect you?” Ryan said being a smart ass.
“Agh!” Shy looked at Ryan and continued out the house.
Once outside, Shy sees his mother and sister. “Hey, wait for me!” Shy yelled.
He runs to catch up with them unto a figure runs right in front of him, facing him head on. It was the guy that pushed Shy that was on the video that is now is circulating on youtube.
“Wassup, punk?” the guy said while he pushed Shy in the chest.
Shy stumbles backwards, but he doesn’t fall.
“Don’t you know how to fight? Or are you one of those flower boys?
Shy tries to walk around the guy but he kept stepping to each side that Shy was trying to pass.
“I don’t want any trouble”, Shy said extremely scared.
PUNCH! The boy punches Shy in the face and Shy stumbles to the cement. Shy jumps up off the ground and put his hand on each of the boys shoulder and knees him in his crouch. The boy bends over in agony “AGHHHHHHH! You pussy!” the boys yells.
“Leave him alone! Pick on somebody your own size?”
Her arms grab the boy and shook him. “What’s wrong with you? You gon let that boy take you like that?” She turns from the boy and slaps Shy. “Don’t you ever touch him again.”
Carla from a distant turns and witnesses this average sized strange lady handling her son. She runs in Shy direction, which was 5 houses down, and grabs the lady by the neck, wraps her arms around her until she surrendered and fell to the ground. Carla puts her left knee on the ladies chest and the weight of Carla pins her to the ground. “If you touch him again I swear foe God I will kill you!” This is the very first time that Carla has ever had a physical altercation and she felt like a tiger. Brandy is in aw of what she sees what her mother is capable of.
“Call your dad, Thomas! Call Thunder!” the lady told her son.
“THUNDER?!” CARLA AND SHY said shockingly.
TRACY
Tracy hangs the phone up immediately after Jon’s threat. His heart is racing. He gets up from his desk and runs to the bathroom. Inside the bathroom he paces and tries to figure what will he do? He goes into his pocket to get his cell phone and realize he left it at his desk. He leaves the bathroom to head back to his desk and sees Beth on his cell phone.
“Who was that?” Tracy asks.
“It was Jon Capt, the president of the company”, Beth answered.
“Well, what did he say, Beth?”
“It was just ringing so much that’s the only reason I picked it up.”
“What did Jon say, Beth?”
“I really didn’t mean to pick it up”, Beth said.
Tracy knew that Jon must have said some horrible things. He gets his phone and leaves the building. He dials an abortion clinic and they are booked for any appointments. He calls information for some other clinics and none of the clinics will service him. He gets in his car and drives to a clinic outside of town, and once they heard his name Tracy Johnson they told him that they can’t service him. ‘Jon paid these clinics to blacklist me’ he thought to himself. He starts to pound his fist on the steering wheel in rage. AGHHHHH!!!!!! I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM!!!!!! Tracy breaks down and his face is flooded with tears.
He drives to a rough part of town and parks his car near a playground. He walks over to the basketball court and asks to play.
The guys tell him ‘next game’.
“No, I’m playing in this game”, Tracy demanded.
“Look man, woman, whatever the hell you are, we said next game”, one of the guy said and walked up on Tracy.
Tracy pushed the guy in his chest ‘Nigga, don’t walk up on me like that’. Another guy walks up behind Tracy, “Dude, what’s your problem?” Tracy turns around and punches the guy in the face. All of the guys rushed over and jumped Tracy. He is down on the ground and not defending himself. Tracy thinks to himself as he lays there getting beat ‘yeah beat this bastard out of me’.
ITT
Let me go!! Who are you?! What do you want from me?!” screamed Itt
Thinking to himself ‘who are these people? Do these people think that I’m Shy? Is this something that his family is rapped up in? Could this be The Bosses doing?’ Let me go!” Itt yells and kicks.
Itt shouts “Where am I?” as he is thrown into a room his head still covered with a black velvet bag. “Let me go! Let me go!”
“Shut up kid” says a deep and unfamiliar voice as the bag is pulled from his head. He can now breathe freely but thinks the bag is still on his head because of the pitch black room.
After yelling and trying to loosen the ropes binding him suddenly the door flies open and Itt sees the outline of a Coca-Cola shaped woman approaching him.
“So this is little Itt?” says the woman’s voice
“Let me go!” yells Itt
The lights flicker on and as Itt’s eyes adjust to his surroundings, he sees that he is in the office of a warehouse. “Who are you? What do you want?”
“Little Itt all grown up, you have grown up to be quiet the trouble maker, haven’t you? Just like your father.” says Francesca
“My who? Father?” says Itt
Yes little Itt, your father, Charles Roman has been a pain in my families side for years and from what I hear the apple didn’t fall to far from the tree,” says Francesca
“My father? The Boss is my father?”
“You didn’t know? Wow this is interesting. He has protected you since you were a baby. He’s been taking care of you and your mother. You didn’t know?” Francesca said.
“No. Why wouldn’t he tell me? And why did you kidnap me?” Itt asked.
“You don’t question me little boy.” Francesca said and walked closer to Itt. She grabs his cheeks. “You are a handsome boy too. I’ll say Charles did
good”. She took a hard look at Itt. “You’re gay”, she said.
“Wha…what?” Itt said embarrassingly.
“Your daddy doesn’t like homosexuals. He actually had a cousin killed because he was gay and didn’t want him in his family. So little Itt, the plot thickens,” Francesca Tagliano said and walked out of the room.
STACY
Stacy collects her money off the dresser. It was inside an envelope that was an exact replica of the one Itt had that she stole from him. She though about her son, Itt, and wondered if she would ever see him again. She walks out of the hotel room feeling of shame and filth. Stacy is on her way to her station until she hears a voice from a distant.
“Stacy?!”
Stacy looks around and sees an old station wagon with a lady behind the steering wheel. The woman looks familiar. The lady gestures her arms to signal Stacy to
approach her. Stacy is reluctant to go to the vehicle so the woman gets out of the station wagon.
“It’s me, Stacy. Jackie!”
Stacy starts to shake and puts her trembling hands to cover her mouth and tears begin to gravitate strongly to the concrete. She runs over to Jackie. ‘Jackie?’ she says with a low tone. “Jackie, Jackie, JACKIE!” she cries. They wrapped their arms around each other giving the tightest squeeze. They both put their hands on each other face to see if the flesh is real. Is the moment real? They realize this isn’t a dream and they are really joyful to be reunited. Jackie tells the two small children in the back of the station wagon to get out and meet their aunt.
“I can’t believe it’s you. I didn’t know what happened after you left the home”, Jackie says.
Stacy looks at her little sister. “You’re all grown up. These are your children?” Stacy asks.
Jackie slightly pushes her children in front of her with her hands still placed on their back. One at a time Jackie puts her hand on each kid and introduces them.
“This is Joey, he is four. Say hi, Joey”, Jackie tells her son.
“This is Sarah, she is six years old tomorrow. Isn’t that right Sarah?” Jackie says.
“I’m not six yet mom. I’ll be six in……” Sarah says and starts to count on her fingers without coming up with the correct math she settles for ‘I’ll be six tomorrow’.
“How cute are they? It’s nice to meet you Sarah and Joey. My name is Stacy”
Sarah pulls on Jackie’s shirt to lower her to whisper in her mother’s ear.
“Mom, she smells.”
But Stacy heard Sarah and her feelings were hurt and Jackie can see it on Stacy’s face. To ease the embarrassment Jackie says, ‘she a firecracker, she reminds me of you when we were little girls’.
“So yeah…” Jackie says and they stare momentarily at each other in awkwardness.
“Well I have to take the kids of their grandmas. She is babysitting. I have a job interview for this pastry restaurant that will be opening up. I interviewing for the management position”.
“Oh, that’s great. What’s the name of the place?” Stacy asked.
“It’s called, ‘What’s The Skinny Pastries and Stuff’, this guy Robert Alejandro is focusing on healthy baked pastries, doughnuts, and things of that nature. Here let me give you my number so we can talk. I don’t wanna be late”, Jackies says and starts to write her number on a piece of paper.
“Ok, lil sis, I look forward to talking to you”, Stacy says sadly while holding the paper tightly in her hand.
With tears in her eyes, Stacy watches as her sister gathers her children and gets back in the station wagon and drives off.
Stacy thinks ‘What’s The Skinny Pastries and Stuff’ hmmm, I’m hungry’ she walks to a nearby café to have a light breakfast.
CHARLES ROMAN THE THIRD
“Inmate 7563-3289, you have a visitor!” a guard yells.
The cell door unlocks and opens. Charles Roman the Third walks to the visitor’s room and sits. He looks up and is not shocked by his visitor that sits before him. His face is fuming with rage and he doesn’t say a single word.
“So, I have him and he is safe for now. We will continue to do what we have to, to get what is rightfully ours. You can’t depend on that trader Tyrone as you have. He has been working with us from day one. He is disposable. You know what your father has done and now it’s time to even the score. So inform your men to discharge the north and west regions and you can have your boy back. This is not negotiable,” Ms. Francesca Tagliano demanded.
“Guards!” Francesca Tagliano yelled as she lifted her 5 foot 10 inch, 140lb, curves like Jessica Rabbit body out the chair and walked to the exit.
Charles Roman the Third sat in his chair and punched the thick guarded glass until blood disintegrated from his knuckles. He goes to the pay phone and places a collected call, ‘if you see Tyrone, execute him. No questions. Tagliano has Itt, do what you got to do.’
SHY
“Where is Itt?” Brandy asks.
“Yeah, where is he, Shy? Carla asked.
“He went off with some guy that came from New York”, Shy responded.
Carla gets out of her chair and walks rapidly to the front door. She looks outside and don’t see Itt anywhere close. She starts to worry, remembering the stories that Itt has told them while he was in the hospital. She tries the number they have been trying to reach Stacy on and the phone is still disconnected.
“Shy, did he say what this person’s name was?” Brandy asks. Out of all of the siblings Brandy is the closest to Shy. She is a year younger than Shy but because he is so different she admires him and his bravery.
“No, he just said a friend from back home. I thought it was okay. You think something happened to him?” Shy said nervously.
“Don’t panic, just get some shoes on and let’s check the neighborhood. Was he driving?” Carla asked.
“I didn’t see a car or anything, ma,” Shy said.
Brandy and Carla both get their shoes on and Shy went up to his room. They left thinking that he would catch up.
Shy walks into his room and locks the door, he goes into his box and……………
ROBERT/THUNDER
Thunder takes the subway to Robert’s Manhattan apartment. As he stands on the stoop he looks up and sees how tall the building is and is amazed from where he came and that he is on his way up. He thinks to himself ‘the sky is the limit’ all of his hard work has paid off. SPLASH!!!! Someone poured a bucket of water on Thunder. “What the
hell?!” He looks at his blue and white plaid shirt that is now drenched with water. He looks back up and sees Robert hanging out the window. “You gon stand there looking dumb, or were you gon ring the bell? I figured you needed to wake up. You were daydreaming. I’ve been calling you for 5 minutes”. The buzzer sounds and Thunder pushes the door open. “I’ma kick your ass when I get up there!” Thunder yelled.
Thunder walks inside of the building and signs in at security. While he lugs his bag towards the elevator his cell phone begins to ring. ‘Who could be calling me right now’ he scrabbles to reach in his pocket for his cell phone and just as he retrieves it out his pocket the elevator opens and the phone stops ringing. He looks at the missed call, it reads ‘anonymous’ “What-eva”, he says and steps into the elevator. He pushes number 12 and the elevator door closes. Thunder thinks to himself ‘how blessed he is to have met Robert’.
BING! The door opens and Robert is standing right in front of the elevator with a huge grin. They greet each other with hand shakes and Robert leads Thunder to the apartment. Once inside Robert orders Thunder out of the wet shirt. Thunder takes the shirt off and Robert is astounded at the look of Thunders abs. He also notices a fair amount of scars and what looks to be like a healed bullet wound on his chest. Robert
takes Thunder shirt and throws it in the bathroom.
“Hey Thunder we need to get started right away”, Robert says.
“I agree”, Thunder responded.
Thunder cell phone rings just before they start. He looks at the caller ID and it read ‘anonymous’ “Who in the hell is calling me ‘anonymous’?” He answers the phone.
“Hello?”
“So you think you just gon leave and not tell nobody, you got a lot of nerves nigga”.
“Why are you calling me with this mess? I told you last week, remember? I will let you know when I’m on my way back. I don’t know how long this is gonna take, DAMN!” Thunder yelled.
Out of all the talks Robert and Thunder had, Robert had no clue to what was going on and he never seen Thunder so upset. Robert looks at Thunder with products in his hand; he lifts them as to signal him that he wants to get started. Robert is so excited
about his first time and hopes that he made the right decision to do it with Thunder.
JON
“I just wanna know what my rights are?”
“I don’t really know how we can help you. He never told you she was pregnant. You aren’t married to this person. And if he is pregnant and wants to abort the child it’s his decision.”
Jon hangs up the phone with his lawyer and ponders the thought to call Tracy.
“Mr. Capt, they are ready for you in the conference room.” Becky the receptionist says.
“Tell them I OWN THE FUCKING COMPANY AND I WILL BE IN THERE WHEN I DAMN WELL PLEASE!!” Jon yelled.
Becky slowly closed the door attempting to slam it on Jon. She or nobody has ever seen Jon so upset. She hears her phone rings at her desk.
“It’s a great day here at Unigrow. President Jon Capts office, how may I help you?” Becky says pleasantly.
“Hi, Becky its Janet, is penis head around?”
“I’m sorry?” Becky answered puzzled.
“Bitch, Becky, bulimic, blonde, bull-dike; is the fucking penis head around?”
“Ma’am I’m not sure I like your tone…..”
“I don’t give a FUCK about what you like, where the FUCK is my husband?”
Becky hangs the phone up and stares at the slim, multi-lined, and chromed finished, with caller-id and automatic re-dial telephone. The phone rings again and her hearts starts to race. “I am not having a good day” she says to herself. “What is that honey?” Becky hears a voice and is broken out of her stance.
“Oh, nothing, it’s just a strange day?” Beck says and is happy to see a friendly face.
“You can say it twice girl. I’m Lauren”, Lauren introduces herself while extending her hand to Becky.
“Oh yes, Lauren Lockett. I know exactly who you are. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Becky Wileshire,” she says while shaking Lauren hand.
Jon storms out of his office and pass Lauren and Becky. Lauren and Becky looks at each other. “Told you”, Becky says.
“I’ll say. Girl yo phone has been just ringing,” Lauren told Becky.
“I’ll get it”, Lauren said and walks behind Becky’s desk.
“Hello, Unigrow Corporation. Lauren Lockett speaking; how may I help you?” Lauren said pleasantly.
“So tell me, Lauren the lush, have you been fucking Jon too? Is that how you got the job? You’ve been up under the boss’s desk?” Janet says.
“Oh hey Janet, It’s so good to hear from you. I don’t know if you know but I taught him a lot of things since you got served. Yeah we are doing just fine. How about you? Bitter much?” Lauren said.
“Where is Jon?” Janet said sounding as if the words were sliding through her teeth.
“He’s not available at the moment, hon,” Lauren said.
“If I have to come……” Janet said but Lauren cuts her off.
“Listen Bay, I won’t have your threats or your intimidation to my staff. So if you must speak with Mr. Capt leave a message, because he’s not available.” Lauren said and hung up the phone. Lauren looked at Becky with a smile plastered on her face. “There” Lauren said. “Is your day getting better now?”
“I think we are gonna get alone just fine, Ms. Lockett”, Becky said and they both start to laugh.
“Opps, off to the meeting. Nice chatting with you, bye”, Lauren said as she walk her 5 foot voluminous frame to the conference room.
Becky sits at her desk and the phone begins to ring and sees that it is Janet again. She answers, “NO” and hangs up.
Lauren comes running out of the conference room and the normally quiet office is now noisy. “BECKY, CALL SECURITY AND THE POLICE, IT”S JON!”
TRACY
“No, I haven’t told him”.
“Well have you decided what you gonna do? I mean I know you want your career and not only that but I thought you just like women. Tracy, as your friend I need to tell you, you are so complicated. Do you wanna be a man or a woman?” Tamia said.
“I am a man, Tamia. But I do think that I want to have a baby. Jon and I only had sex once in that area, if you know what I mean. I didn’t think that I would get pregnant because of the hormones I was on. But now that I am, I don’t know what to do. I am not in love with Jon and I always figured if I had a child it would be on my terms and not necessarily with someone. Jon really wants a family and I’m afraid if he finds out he is gonna think that it’s more to him and me,” Tracy said.
Tracy cell phone rings and he sees that it’s Lauren. He tells the waitress to bring the check so that he can pay for their lunch.
“Hey Lauren, what’s up?”
“Man, you need to talk to Jon. He has flipped,” Lauren said.
“What? What do you mean he has flipped?” Tracy said. Tracy looks at Tamia ‘it’s Jon, something’s wrong.’ Tracy tells Tamia.
“Ok, Lauren. Can you get him on the phone?”
“I’ll try.”
“Jon, I have Tracy on the phone”, Lauren tells Jon.
Jon snatches the phone from
Lauren. “You better not abort my child,” Jon demanded and hangs up.
Episode 11 Season 2
CARLA
“So how are you feeling?”
“How do you think I feel? I lost my job, my husband, got raped, and beaten. Now I am in this God forsaken place. By the way who decorated? This is what they call eclectic and I call it mix match junk,” says Janet.
“Well, you know, Robert and I traveled and we like the different cultures and we love collecting pieces from where we visit”, Carla informs Janet.
Janet braces her bruised body up and looks at Carla up and down and shakes her head. “If momma can see you like this she would die again, when is the last time you had a salad?”
Carla places her right hand on her hip and starts a spin to show off her body. “I have you know Janet I have lost 5 pounds, of course you wouldn’t know because you never come around to see any difference”.
“Whatever. Why isn’t your husband never home? You think he is having an affair or something?”
“Robert is building our business and that takes a lot of work. In two weeks he and Thunder will be on the Othella Show talking about the new ventures especially with the college enrollments down, we will just focus on the bakery”, Carla said proudly.
“Oh so yall think yall all that? Who in the hell is Thunder?”
“He’s a fitness and nutritious expert and he is training Shy and when he gets back from New York I will start my transformation”.
“Is he married?” Janet asks.
“I don’t think he would be interested.” Carla says and walks out the room.
“WHAT YOU DON’T THINK I’M GOOD ENOUGH?!” Janet yells.
Carla walks back and stands in the doorway of the room. “Janet, I know you down on your luck and that’s why we took you in. But as long as you stay here you will give us respect, me, Robert, and the kids. You can stay here as long as you need but I won’t tolerate put downs and havoc in my home, is that clear?” Carla says.
Janets flops her body down on the mattress, “FINE!”
SHY/ITT
“Take it out Itt, it won’t fit. You can’t just force it in there”.
“Why won’t it? Hold it still. Don’t move”.
“I think it’s too long anyway, look you don’t know what your doing”.
Carla walks into the garage and sees Shy and Itt. She is shocked at what she witnesses. “Boy’s it supper time”, she tells them.
The two tall young men run to the house from the garage pushing and hitting each other until they reach the back steps. Carla tells the boys that they are doing a very good job with the installation of the sink in the garage. The door bell rings and they all look at each other in suspense.
“Don’t just stand there, answer the door”.
“Yes, Auntie Janet,” Shy replied.
Shy walks through the hallway decorated with paisley wall paper and a collection of European paintings. He opens the door. There stands a 5ft 6in African American man who looks like he is trouble.
“Tyrone?” Itt says standing about 4 feet behind Shy. Shy turns around and looks at Itt. “You know him?” Shy asks.
“Yeah, that’s a friend from back home”, Itt answered.
Itt rushes pass Shy and tell him he would be only a minute. Itt closes the front door and grabs Tyrone by the arm and walks with Tyrone down the sidewalk.
“What are you doing here?”
“The Boss was arrested by the Feds; I don’t think he will be getting out. But you got to get back and pay your debt or he will have someone get you and this family. He thinks I’m locked up”, Tyrone informed Itt.
“I’m not going back, man. Stacy got evicted and I will pay him back but he didn’t tell me what he wants me to do.”
A van speeds up aside Itt and Tyrone. A large built Italian man jumps out the back and grabs Itt and muscles him inside the van.
“Hey what are you doing? Ty you set me up!” Itt said just before they duct taped his mouth.
LAUREN
Lauren walks into her newly decorated office for the first time as the CEO of Unigrow Corporation. She walks to the large windows and stare at the beautiful skyline. She smiles and feels a great accomplishment has been declared. She starts to think of her loneliness and wishes that she can share this victory with an intimate partner instead of just friends and family. She turns around and grabs the back of her office chair and swivel the seat around to her and she sits and with force from the floor she spins and spins. Her head begins to swim and she hears a beep. She uses her feet as brakes to stop the spinning of the chair. She picks up the phone “Hello?” it beeps again. She pushes a button that she sees flashing “Hello?” she answers.
“Yes Ms. Locket, I have Tracy on line one”, the receptionist spoke.
“Thank you, you can send it through”, Lauren replied feeling important.
“Hello, Ms. Locket, how are you enjoying your first day?” Tracy asks.
“Hey, Tracy, I am so happy. And I must say thank you too. Because had you not turned down the
position I wouldn’t have it, so thank you so much”.
“No, don’t thank me. It’s only right. You deserve it; you work so hard for it. It would have been just handed to me.”
“Well, maybe your right. Have you heard from Janet?”
“No, I have not. I heard she had some trouble in a bar. She just disappeared. I am worried about her.”
“Why? She was just so evil and unhappy and made everyone around her feel unhappy. Oh is it because of the affair. Did you really love her? And what’s up with you and Jon?"
“Lauren you sho is nosey, but you are one of my closest friends. That’s a conversation that I would have to fill you in on in person.”
“Fair enough, I’m so happy with the position and I’m gonna have my secretary send Jon a hand written thank you letter from yours truly”.
“That’s thoughtful, Lauren. I wish you more success and I’m sure you are gonna do a great job.”
“Let’s meet tomorrow after work around 9pm and we can catch up, cool?” Lauren asked.
“Yeah, we can do that”, Tracy said just as she sees Jon in what use to be Janet’s office, they hang up.
