Gempa Filipina, update 7 Februari 2012, pukul 10.00 WIB.

Korban tewas akibat gempa bumi berkekuatan 6,8 Skala Richter di Filipina semakin bertambah. Hingga kini, dilaporkan korban tewas telah mencapai 43 orang. Dilaporkan sekitar 29 orang tewas akibat tertimpa tanah longsor.

In spite of the various measures taken up by the federal and state governments, the unclaimed money flow continues reach new heights every month. Every concerned official is weary of the unclaimed money pile that is growing at an alarming rate across all the state treasuries. Needless to say that every division and authority has been working full time towards creating a simple and robust platform towards a simplified unclaimed money search process and a rapid disbursement and management of unclaimed funds.

Until a few years ago, it was inconceivable for the majority of the people that there is some unclaimed funds lying with the government and which is rightfully theirs. I can be said that the unclaimed search process was a secret known to a very few, but now the accessibility to Internet and access to online resources have made sure that relevant information is available to the potential owners of these unclaimed funds. The efforts of all the major state and federal government divisions have ensured that the right information is reaching the target audience at the right time.

Accessibility of resources and unclaimed money information is crucial to the success of the program, and the authorities have to be commended for that. Considering the large spectrum of people, with various levels of literacy, it was necessary that the availability of relevant information, as well as the simplification of the process of unclaimed money search, was vital to the success. Anybody who is searching for the unclaimed money, one of the fundamental factor is the simplicity of the unclaimed search process. There is no doubt that the process of unclaimed money search is for everybody, of all educational levels.

As has been said repeatedly by the unclaimed money experts, the first task is to identify the states where you have either stayed or have been employed. Once the identification and search process has begun and the actual application process starts, the reliable online resources are identified and the process of claim is understood. Now is the time to utilize the extremely useful information present on the state treasury websites.

A majority of the states have their unclaimed property website where the details of the claim process have been laid out, and it can be accessed by anybody. Almost all of the states have a very informative website in place with unclaimed funds database updated frequently so that the most updated information is available to the potential claimants of unclaimed money.

As a simple check-list towards the successful execution of unclaimed money search process, the following points will be decisive in the outcome:

• Jolt your memory and list down every state where you have either resided or have been employed.

• Mark down the website/phone number of the financial controller of your state.

• NAUPA is the major source of information related to the unclaimed money search. It has the most current information and database regarding the unclaimed money and the owners of these lost funds. Once you are on this central site, you can click on the state of your residence or employment.

• The most important search parameters for locating any unclaimed funds against one’s name are the first and the last name.

• Verify the unclaimed amount with all your personal details along with the date of residence and the city of residence.

• Now is the time to go to your state treasury website and fill up the online claim form. This form is extremely simple and easy enough for people of all literacy levels and can be filled if you have all the information regarding yourself or your ancestors.

• The above process can be repeated for all the states where you have lived in.

The above process has been tried and tested by millions of people and has resulted in uniting a lot of people with their lost funds.

Understanding Google+

It seems like everyone has been talking about Google+ lately, a new social networking conglomerate developed by the giant Internet search engine Google. Although the platform is still in its field trial stage and is available by invitation only, there is already a large buzz about the product. So, what makes Google+ different from Facebook, the current most popular social networking site?

Through its three main features – Circles, Hangouts, and Sparks, Google+ differentiates itself because it

1) Gives the user more privacy by allowing him or her to be in full control of what is shared

2) Has a group video chat feature

3) Allows the user to uncover content rather than purely share content

For the Facebook crowd at large who is unfamiliar with Google+, here is a quick glimpse into the nuts and bolts of the new site.

The Stream

Once you get the invite, (the word is that there are currently tens of millions of users, so ask around – chances are you probably know someone who is using it) just sign in with your Gmail, Picassa, or Youtube account. You are then prompted to create your personal profile, which consists of a profile picture, introduction, education, employment, places lived, etc.

On the home screen, there is a GChat bar on the left side and a black bar at the top of the page that connects with Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Photo, Reader, and Web. Below this, there are four tabs that are quite similar to Facebook: Home, Photos, Profile, and Circles. The vast majority of the screen is taken up by a live news feed with comment and +1, or the “like”, capability of your Circles’s activities. But wait – what exactly is this “Circles” mechanism that keeps being referred to?

Circles

One of the three main features of Google+ is Circles. Circles allow you to sort your contacts into groups, including but not limited to friends, family, acquaintances, and following (like Twitter). Ever go through your 1000+ Facebook friends and not know who certain people are and how you met them? Have no fear – Google+ will keep your contacts organized.

Additionally, Circles allows you to easily share posts and pictures with only a specific group of people. There is also the option of adding friends without a Google+ account to a circle, in which they will receive your posts via email. By giving the user control of essentially every post shared, Google+ can be as private or public as you want it to be.

Hangouts

The Hangout tool is a video chat function. After downloading Google’s Voice and Video Installer, you have the capability to create a Hangout and invite up to ten people in your network to chat. Rather than planning Skype sessions in advance, Google+ posts that you are “hanging out” in the live stream and gives others the chance to jump in. Another appealing feature of Hangouts is the ability for Groups to watch Youtube videos or movies together.

An analogous application to Hangouts, the Huddle feature allows users to group chat through text. This can be useful for creating plans for the night or making decisions on a work related project.

Sparks

Sparks allows you to not only share content, but also to discover it. By typing your interests into the Sparks page that appears in your sidebar, you can stumble external sites that are of importance to you. Generally, these include current articles, videos, and other relevant content. Specifically, when I clicked on Recipes, which is one of the current featured interests, I was directed to “Foodmakers May Change Recipes to Cut Fat for Fare Advertised to Children,” “New Restaurant Shares a New Blueberry Pie Recipe,” and more. You can also share your favorite links from Sparks–and from anywhere on the web for that matter – onto your Wall.

More on Google+

Similar to other social media sites, Google+ is available for those on the go. The native mobile app currently is available for the Android, but the web app is accessible for all smartphones, and SMS is coming soon.

It is still undecided when Google+ will be fully available to the public, for Google+ representatives have stated, “How long the testing phase lasts, and how the product evolves, will really depend on how it goes. Well I think, both are different policies serving different needs. Term life and whole life insurance policies both have their own strength and weaknesses and therefore both cannot even be compared. If you are living in UK then it is very important that you decide on a right life insurance policy.

In the past, all insurance policies were term insurance and covered just life. However, with time and consumer awareness they felt let down by the benefits that they should get after paying the premium over twenty to thirty years. They felt it was unfair and a drain on their resources, therefore, life insurance companies designed whole life policy that gave them the choice of investment option to build cash value over a period of time.

Here are a few of the most important features of term life insurance and whole life insurance. Term life insurance, covers just life, premiums are paid just for the fixed term and are relatively cheaper and beneficiary is entitled only for death benefits. If the policyholder lives after this term ends, no benefits are passed on. It covers just life and has no further benefits to it. In contrast, whole life insurance looks after both your life as well as your investment. Premiums are a lot expensive and have to be paid for entire life. Beneficiary is entitled to benefits in case of death. If the policyholder lives after set term, the policyholder gets cash value accumulated on it. Cash value accumulated is tax-deferred.

So, which one do you think is better for you? Well, as illustrated above we can distinguish that both these policies are distinct and have their own pros and cons. Term life insurance is beneficial to those who normally have excellent health and pursue healthy lifestyle. They can stay away from huge premiums and decide on other better investment tools. On the other hand, whole life insurance is beneficial to those who are by now suffering from various medical problems and cover is essential. It usually works fine for those who are affluent enough and know they can pay large premiums for the entire lifetime. If possible, the blend of both term life insurance and whole life insurance is the most excellent way to go forward for any individual.

Besides, it is essential to know, why you are buying life insurance. You will be more satisfied once you understand why you need to purchase the policy by considering on your needs and its significance. Be familiar with your requirements that need to be covered. In addition, decide on the person who gets the benefits. As soon as you decide on this, begin shopping for quotes from different sources like the insurance agents, visiting offices of several life insurers and online websites having comparing devices. Evaluate the quotes by comparing, the sum assured, premiums, additional offers, they are providing. Decide on the policy that suits your needs in the most excellent way and at the lowest cost offered.

Talking about bundles in this context seems to indicate a loosely connected bunch of services that may or may not be relevant to the type of thing that an online company needs. A fairly basic bundle for example will include internet access and email box, space to host the website, access to newsgroups and telephony.

Website hosting companies will offer degrees of support and price these accordingly. It is up to the customer to decide on the amount of bandwidth they need to satisfy their own and their own customers' needs. A single page is generally only sufficient for personal use. More complex sites require database support and application development platforms which widen the function of the website to include forums and content management, thus providing opportunities for increased interactivity on the site and opportunities to self programme should customers wish to do so. Through providing data centre space, website hosting companies can also link customers through to other services thus widening even further the website capabilities. To facilitate this, a control panel is often provided by the host to facilitate the installing of scripts and other services by the customer.

Reliability of access is also something else the customer needs to discuss with the website hosting company where most providers aim for 99.9% uptime. However there should be allowances made for unplanned downtime for maintenance and the like. On the internet there are numbers of active webhosting message boards and forums where customers can discuss the type of support they need from their webhosting company and also familiarise themselves with the jargon.

We at Heartinternet are very happy to discuss the levels of support required by our customers. They promise youthful lazy enterprisers that for just so much money the will impart their knowledge on how they can generate several hundred dollars each day in the comfortable surroundings of their own home, and they only have to work 3-4 hours too.

Whoa there tiger, did you say lazy?

Sure! The reality is that Adwords is not that complex and by putting a little more effort into the project these young entrepreneurs could learn what these experts are charging money to teach.

In order for an AdWords campaign to succeed it is necessary for the strategy to contain three key components:

1. A success keyword. The keyword choice made for the adwords campaign is the pivotal decision out of all the decisions that are made when setting up an adwords campaign.

The trick to good keyword is to find ones that cover a wide enough area of the topic so that someone who is searching can be aimed in your direction but one that is pointed enough that it won't attract too many random searches.

It is important to remember that a search engine is going to charge the advertiser for the placement of their ad regardless of the resulting profit; after all, the only profit they are truly concerned with is their own.

The crux of this is that if an ad uses a well used keyword (a marketer may go over to the search engine database and get keywords that are often used in their ads) it will usually get a whole boatload of traffic, but what it won't do is bring in a lot of sales.

Adwords offers some great features to advertisers that have a problem gathering useful keywords for their ads. By going to www.adwords.google.com advertisers can access these great features.

2. High ranking bids. The unfortunate truth is that internet surfers are a broad representation of most types of people. They want precisely what they want and they want it right now.

This means that they are not going to have the patience to search through hundreds of pages of information; if what they are looking for is not within the first five to ten pages of a search they are probably going to attempt to send their search in a new direction with a new set of keywords.

For the marketer this means that they have to have their ad on the first few pages if they want it to be seen. Of course search engines don't put the ads up first in; first out. The marketer who will pay the most for a click with get the top spot when ads are displayed.

It is essential that the advertiser find the delicate balance between their sales and the money they are willing to part with; while an ad at the top of the list may receive more attention that does it little good if the advertising budget won't stretch far enough to allow it its maximum exposure.

Lucky for us that Google has a feature that lets a ceiling be put on the amount of money spent on ad campaigns. If the ceiling is reached, the ad is labeled inactive and not shown in the search results etc.

3. Follow up. Even if you have maximum effort from a crack team of advertisers, there aren't any guarantees about the results after an ad campaign is up and running. The advertiser still must watch the actions of the ads so that a problem can be avoided or minimized, and changes made to the ad campaign as needed.

There it is! All the key features of a profitable Adwords campaign have been laid out for you without a high price tag. The ball is in your court .are you going to take it and score?

Keyword Articles: http://www.keywordarticles.org

There are vast differences between auto insurance companies. Taking time to compare before you buy will ultimately save you time and money.

These days it’s a lot easier to compare auto insurance companies. Using the internet you will be able to do research on a number of companies and discover for yourself the best auto insurance company for you. Just remember that you will need to compare more than just the rates.

One of the things you should be looking at is the risk rating of the insurance company. This will affect their ability to pay your claim. Paying low premiums to a company that won’t be able to settle claims against you won’t do you any good.

So, what if you happen to be paying premiums right now to one of these low-rated auto insurance companies? Shop, compare and then make the switch to an auto insurance company that is right for you.

In addition to having a poor risk rating, there are other reasons for switching auto insurance companies. Obviously, you will want to find an one that charges premiums that fit your budget. Make sure you are comparing identical coverage levels when comparing premiums. The default coverage levels might vary between companies. Make sure you have enough coverage for your unique situation.

Premiums are often based on that auto insurance company’s claims experiences with different policyholders in your same coverage group. The coverage group is determined by the type of vehicle, age group, number of claims filed, etc. For example, if owners of a specific vehicle file a large number of claims in a given year, premiums of auto insurance companies will rise for that vehicle. The same is true if drivers who are under the age of 21 file a large number of claims. This will affect you, if you happen to be in that group.

These experiences are often unique to each specific auto insurance company. That’s why premiums might be higher with one company than another for each coverage group. That’s why it’s smart to shop around.

While you are shopping for another auto insurance company, don’t be tempted to stop paying premiums with your current company. Any gap in coverage can cause you big problems. Many companies will ask to see proof of current coverage before canceling an active policy. Be safe and keep your current coverage active until after you switch to the new auto insurance company.

Once you have switched to a new insurance company, you can cancel coverage with your current one, simply, by putting your request in writing and specifying the date of cancellation. It’s probably easiest to switch when your old policy is close to renewal. Most auto insurance companies will send a renewal notice about one month before a new policy period starts. Use this time to research your options and choose your new insurance company. Make sure you have your new policy all lined up before your current policy renews. Then notify your current company that you will not be renewing coverage. Although it’s easier to cancel your policy at the time of renewal, you may cancel at any time. As long as you give proper notice, auto insurance policies contain a provision that gives you the right to cancel your policy at any time. You do not have to wait until renewal to switch to another auto insurance company.

It’s not difficult to switch auto insurance companies, but it takes a little time and research to find the one that’s best for your situation. The time you spend researching will be well rewarded with the money you will save on premiums and the comfort you will get knowing that the one you choose will be able to handle any claims you make. Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?

Why Affiliate Marketing?

Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.

Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.

There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.

Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

What about Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.

The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.

So, where do all of these lead us to?

Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.

There are dozens of files that make up that web site and I have seen some web sites that can have hundreds and even thousands of web pages, files and download documents so without some sort of organization you would be lost.

The first thing to do is to setup a web site structure in a logical way so you can find types of documents/files easily.

For example, most web sites contain some sort of images/graphics files that are used for headers or pictures so these types of files should be stored in a folder called (strangely enough) images.

Most good web hosting companies will provide you with a folder called cgi-bin. This folder generally is used for server side cgi scripts that add functionality to your web site. Things like guest book scripts, visitor counters etc. These scripts would be installed in the cgi-bin folder.

If you store documents on your web server then you might create a documents folder and store your online documents in there. If you write articles then you might have an articles folder as well.

So now we have the following folders -

images
cgi-bin
documents
articles

Of course these folders could have subfolders so you might have subfolders in your articles folder relating to each category you might write about e.g articles/health and artcles/computers etc.

You will also find that there are 'system' folder located with the folders you create. These system folders should be left alone because, as their name implies, they are used by your web server for system functions like storing your incoming email etc. If you are not sure of a particular folder the safer to leave it alone or ask your web host support.

Now when you access your web site using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Program like WSFTP or SmartFTP, you will find it normally puts you 'sitting' just under the web root of your web site.

You can tell that by the folders you can see when you first log in. Generally you will see some sorts of mail folders (they will have mail in their names) and perhaps a log folder - these are examples of the 'system' folders I mentioned before.

This area under the web root is NOT accessible from the web so your web visitors would never see any of the files or folders that are located in here. It is a good place to store password files and other documents you wish to keep secure from the web.

There will also be a folder that is accessible from the web and it will be called something like 'xxxxxxxx-www' (where xxxxxxxx is your web site user name normally) or it could be called something like 'public_html'. If you are unsure then ask your web host support.

This public or web accessible folder is where you create your home pages and other web pages, files, articles and documents that you want web visitors to be able to access or that you want to create links to in your web pages.

So you FTP to your web site, click on the public folder to open it up and start creating your folder structure in there. As I mentioned earlier, if you are using a decent web hosting company, you should already see a cgi-bin folder there as a bare minimum.

I hope I have managed to stress the importance of keeping your web site organized and explained, at least a little, how your web site should be structured.

The first step, is to admit to yourself, that there is a problem you haven't been able to solve, yet.
You know if, "over-perspiration" has been causing embarrassment and humiliation in your life.
It is no laughing matter, when you are out on a date with someone you really want to impress and you end up calling the evening short on some flimsy pretext, because your clothes are wet, from too much sweating.
Have you had to go home from work and change clothes, after a meeting, because you could not stop sweating?
I used to have to wear very dark clothes, with padding under my armpits, and pray, my sweat glands would behave themselves.
I used to try every major brand, of antiperspirants, hoping to find the one that would work the best, for me.
Gone, were those evenings, I used to go out with my girlfriends to a bar, and felt safe enough to dance.
Here are some tips I found, that will help you eliminate excessive sweating, and stop perspiration from running your life.
Tip #1.
Develop a mindset. Your condition is not going to ruin your life. You will not allow, "excessive sweating", to drown you in sorrow, any longer
It is important, that you realize, you are going to make changes in your life, that will teach your sweat glands to behave.
Tip #2.
Begin an exercise program, that gives your sweat glands a better reason, of what you should perspire over.

Tip #3.
You generally have an idea already, about what triggers your sweating episodes. If you can prepare yourself before hand, focus on staying cool and dry. It works, so be more prepared.

Tip #4.
If you are not doing so already, begin drinking more water, to help your cooling system run better.

Tip #5.
If you are a coffee drinker, or drink sodas with caffeine in them, begin reducing your caffeine intake. Caffeine and excessive sweating, seem to go together.

Finding the right method, to stop perspiration from always running in high gear, is trial and error. What may work for you, won't, necessarily work with someone else.

I finally found a method that works for me. It delivered on it's claim, so I left a link to the site at the bottom of this article, if you want to know more about it. Maybe, it will work for you too.

Remember, you can't stop perspiration problems by ignoring the issue. Whatever action you decide to take, stay on course.

Early on, I realized that there would be no "silver bullet." There are many reasons why a "one-size-fits-all" approach will not work.

The general public has many perceptions about Linux. Some of these are true and some of these are not. Some were true and are no longer true. Most people believe the following:

* Linux is more secure than Microsoft Windows.
* Linux is immune or at least less prone to becoming infected with viruses than Microsoft Windows.
* Linux supports less hardware than Microsoft Windows.
* Linux supports fewer applications than Microsoft Windows.
* Linux is harder to support.
* Linux is less friendly.
* It is harder to install software on Linux than on Microsoft Windows.
* There is a major transition effort required to move from Microsoft Windows to Linux.
To some degree, the above statements at one time were true and to some extent, these statements are still true about many Linux distributions.

One of the most challenging aspects of dealing with Linux is that there are hundreds of different Linux distributions and this is overwhelming and confusing to most people trying to learn about Linux. In reality, deciding on what Linux to use is not really a critical issue. It is generally very easy to install Linux; and data from one distribution is easily moved to a new distribution without any problems.

Aside from the windowing system, from a user's standpoint, there are few differences between one Linux distribution and another. The standard application offerings are pretty much the same from one Linux to another.

What makes one Linux different from another has more to do with the ease of initial installation, and the difficulty of installing additional software than it does any other factor. Microsoft has made installing applications on Microsoft Windows about as easy as it gets. The user simply clicks on a single executable and the application pretty much installs itself.

While it is true that some Linux applications are installed from shell scripts that are as easy to install as Microsoft applications, most Linux applications are distributed to a specific packaging system.

Red Hat uses a packaging system that uses files called RPMs. These files can be as easy to install as Microsoft -- providing that all the libraries are present. However, if there are any missing libraries, installing software can be a research and development project.

MEPIS is based on Debian. Debian is a free Linux distribution that focuses more on stability than being "state-of-the-art." One of the things that distinguishes Debian is that it has a packaging system called apt-get. This system is a very powerful way for users to install applications from repositories. What makes it so ideal is that apt-get will install any libraries or other files needed. But you should be careful with books or courses promising to make you rich overnight.

You might have seen or heard of reports about bloggers making several thousands of dollars every day.

What you don’t know is that it might have taken them many years, or they might have to spend several bucks, to accumulate enough backlinks and traffic. Perhaps they might have their own websites or JV partners, where they can leverage from each others’ assets.

If you’re just starting to blog and you don’t have your own network yet, don’t worry. In this article, I’ll show you how to make money blogging using 5 simple steps. As long as you’re willing to learn and take action, you can skyrocket your earnings in no time.
Step 1: Decide the specific topic or niche of your blog.

Your blog topics should be something that both you, and your audience, are familiar with or passionate about.

Let’s say you want to make money blogging about video games. If you’e a WarCraft fan, and you understand the game from top to bottom, you’re more likely to come up with beneficial content than if you were to write something completely uninteresting or foreign to you.

Step 2: Create a professional-looking blog.

Choose an eye-catching design and style for your blog. You can find free themes and plugins on the internet, so you can build attractive blogs and maximize their full moneymaking potentials.

Step 3: Post valuable, entertaining or controversial content on your blog.

It’s better if you write the content yourself, so that your personality may shine through. But in case you can’t think of any ideas or you’re pressed for time, you could always outsource the task to a dependable freelancer. Remember, if you want to make money blogging, you need to invest time and/or money in providing excellent content.

Let’s say you have a WarCraft blog offering free tips for a soon-to-launch ebook, what’s a good plan?

Well, you could write 300-600 word quality articles related to your World of WarCraft blog, and post an article at least 5 times a week in it. If you give quality content, your credibility or authority level shoots up.

Getting people to write comments is an excellent way to get free content and make money blogging. People love to join hot discussions. Encourage comment posting by offering certain prizes for blog commenters of the month. For example, you could give $50-$100, gift cards to Amazon, or copies of your own products (in case you don’t want to offer money).

By posting valuable content and encouraging comments, you’re slowly building a network of fans to your blog.

Step 4: Monetize it.

There are a number of ways to make money blogging through various monetization streams.

You could promote your own products related to your content. If you provide good solid information and they’re satisfied, they are more likely to buy from you.

If you don’t have your own products, you could buy products with resale or private label rights. But if you don’t want to go through any hassles, you could simply promote affiliate products related to your content.

You could also post Google adsense on your blog, so you can make money blogging whenever someone clicks on those ads, even if they didn’t buy anything.

You can also make money by using pay-per-action programs. These programs usually pay you more than adsense, but less than the normal affiliate programs. How do you earn with pay-per-action programs? Every time someone does a specific action that the advertiser intends them to do (whether it’s filling up a form, downloading a report, subscribing to a list, etc.), you get paid a certain amount.

If your blog becomes popular enough, you could also offer advertising space where marketers will pay you to put their advertisements in your blog.

Step 5: Bring in the traffic.

There are different techniques to generate traffic and make money blogging.

Set up your blog posts to be “pinged” automatically to a list of ping sites every time you make a new post. Pinging is a method that allows your content to be indexed faster by the search engines.

Use Google Adwords or other pay-per-click methods to advertise your blog. When people search for certain keywords related to your blog, your pay-per-click ad comes out. You only pay every time someone clicks on your ad.

Create informative or entertaining videos, advertise your blog in that video, and upload them to video-sharing sites. Youtube may be the most popular one, but there are other sites worth uploading your videos to. You may use a free service like tubemogul.com to simultaneously upload your videos to a variety of video-sharing sites of your choosing.

Submit your blog to blog directories. Simply search for “blog directories” in Google and you’ll get a list to submit your blog details to.

One of the most effective ways to make money blogging is to contact other bloggers and set up a proposal - you put their blog link on your blog, and vice-versa.

Write articles and submit them to article directories. You can then advertise your blog in the resource box. You could even use your blog content as articles to submit to article directories. But that’s not all…

You could maximize your content to its full capacity by converting your articles to powerpoint presentations and posting them at slideshare.net. You could also convert those powerpoint presentations into videos, and then post them to various video-sharing sites.

Use various Web 2.0 methods to make money blogging. Bookmark your links at social bookmarking sites like digg.com, stumblepon.com, propeller.com, and many others. However, you should always observe proper netiquette. Most, if not all, of these bookmarking sites prohibit any marketing activities. But you can get under the radar if you give first, become a helpful part of the Web 2.0 community, and bookmark a lot more non-self-serving sites than self-serving ones.

These are the 5 simple steps to make money blogging. Hope you find them useful and may you earn a lot of money with your blog.
