*CAN A WOMAN RECITE AYAT-E-KAREEMAH DURING HAIDH?*

*QUESTION:*

Can a woman recite Ayat-e-Kareemah during her menses?

*ANSWER:*

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Ayat-e-Kareemah refers to the supplication of Yunus (Alaihis Salam) when he was in the belly of the whale. Reciting Ayat-e-Kareemah is effective for removing one’s difficulties and hardships. The following verse of the Quran is known as Ayat-e-Kareemah:

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Translation: ‘There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You; Indeed, I have been of the transgressors.

It is permissible for a woman in Haidh to recite Ayat-e-Kareemah with the intention of Dua and Dhikr.

to put my absolute trust in the power of dua+qadr and to never underestimate duas made at Tahajjud.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

that before I complain, I should count my blessings and thank Allaah. Gratitude is the single most powerful personality trait that can change my duniya, deen and akhira.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

that all hardships are blessings in disguise, a means of attaining higher levels of jannah and Allah's unlimited mercy and forgiveness. Perhaps in the absence of a hardship I would attain the first level of Jannah but my hardships will ensure I am given a Palace of pearl in Jannatul firdous al alaa right beneath Allah's arsh.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

that at some point in time everyone is going to leave me except Allaah. I will lose loved ones, friendships and during my darkest hours only Allaah will remain. And that as long as I have Allaah in my life nothing can harm me.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

that worry doesn't change anything. The only two things that can bring about real change is patience and prayer. That Allah's no is a redirection and His delays are not His denials. To never lose hope in Allah's perfect plan for me.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

to be kind, to say a good word or remain silent, that smile is charity, to help my brothers and sisters if I want Allah's help. To depend on Allaah alone. That Allaah Alone is sufficient for me and Only HE can grant my requests.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

that I am a traveler, this is not my final abode. He taught me to prepare for my grave and for the day of judgment. He taught me that only my good deeds will accompany me when I die.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

to submit entirely to my rabb and His deen. And that sometimes this submission will be easy and at times the most difficult test.

► 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 -

to be shy, modest, gentle and kind, but also capable of retribution, standing up against injustice and for justice when Allah's sacred law is broken.

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

🤲 May we uphold the beautiful Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and may Allaah forgive us for our transgressions, for times we have uttered the lip service of loving Rasool Allaah ﷺ but failed in action.

Origin and Types of Jinn

Today I'm going to know you Origin and Types of Jinn in this universe Allah subhanahu wa tala create all the world with human, animals insects, mountaina, sky,earth and all those things which exist in this universe
Like this creators create jinn we know as jinnat

Origin of Jinn

The Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from smokeless fire, and Adam was created from that which has been described to you.” [Muslim]

Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) tells us that jinn were created from fire, as He says: “And the jinn He created from a smokeless flame of fire.” [Quran: Surah Rahmaan, Ayat 15]

Ibn Abbaas, Ikrimah, Mujaahid, Al-Hasan and others said concerning the phrase “a smokeless flame of fire” – this means the edge of the flame. According to another report, it means the purest and best part of it. [Al-Bidaayah wa’l-Nihaayah]

An-Nawawi said: “The smokeless flame means the flame which is mixed with the blackness of the fire.” [Sharh an-Nawawi ala Muslim]

“And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire.” [Quran: Surah Hijr, Ayat 27]

This Ayat also tells us that the creation of jinn came before the creation of man. that is why Today I'm going to know you Origin and Types of Jinn in this universe.

The Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The jinn are three types; one type which flies through the air; one type which is (like) snakes and dogs; and one which moves from place to place.” [Tabaraani]

Ibn Abd al-Barr said: “Among the scholars of (Arabic) language the jinn have several names:

(i) If a jinn is mentioned in general terms, they say Jinni.

(ii) If they refer to one of those who live with people, they say Aamir, plural Ummaar (literally, dweller or haunter).

(iii) If it is one of those that attach themselves to children, they say Arwaah (literally souls).

(iv) If it is evil and tries to cause harm, they say Shaytaan (devil).

(v) If it is worse than that, they say Maarid (literally, rebellious or defiant; demon or evil spirit).

(vi) If it is even worse than that and stronger, they say Ifreet, plural Afaareet (strong).” [Aakaam al-Mirjaan fi Ahkaam al-Jaan]

Jinns Seen by Dogs and Donkeys

The Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If you hear the barking of a dog or the braying of a donkey, then seek refuge with Allah,(Subhana wa ta’ala) for they see that which you do not see.” [Sunan Abu Dawood]

A hadith in Bukhari states specifically that what the dogs and donkeys see are the devils among the jinn.

To be protected from that which can see you while you cannot see it, invoke the help of the One Who can see it but cannot be seen by it – Allah (subhana wa ta’ala).

Even though we cannot see the jinn, other living creatures such as donkeys and dogs can see them. The idea that some animals see things which we cannot see is not strange. Scientists have discovered the ability of some living creatures to see things that we cannot see. Bees can see ultra-violet rays and are therefore able to see the sun even when it is cloudy, and an owl can see a mouse in the darkest night.

Jinn Eat and Drink

Ibn Masood (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Subhanawa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “A caller from among the jinn came to me, and I went with him and recited Quran to them.” Ibn Masood (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) took them and showed them their footsteps and the traces of their fires. They had asked him for provision and he had prayed to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) and told them: “You will have every bone over which the name of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) has been mentioned; when it falls into your hands it will have plenty of meat on it. And all droppings are food for your animals.” Then the Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Do not use them (bones and dung) to clean yourselves after relieving yourselves, for they are the food of your brothers.” [Saheeh Muslim]

This hadith proves that the jinns eat and drink and that some among them are Muslims and listen to the Quran.

Just as man is forbidden to eat meat over which the name of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) has not been mentioned, the believing (Muslim) jinn are also forbidden to eat those bones over which the name of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) has not been mentioned. Such things are left for the devils to eat, who are the Kuffaar among the jinn.

The devils regard food as permissible if the name of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) has not been mentioned over it. So say “Bismillah” when beginning to eat to prevent the devils from partaking of your food.

We should realize that if we are forbidden to spoil the food of the jinn, it is a more serious sin to spoil the food of man. We should not throw food away or waste it, but ensure that it reaches the hungry.

The fact that dung is the food of the animals of the jinn is not the only reason that we are not allowed to use it to clean ourselves. The Messenger of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) mentioned another reason too, as he stated clearly that dung is Rijs (filth). [Saheeh Bukhari]

Purity of Intention

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

_*“The first of men (whose case) will be decided on the Day of Judgement will be a man who died as a martyr.*_

_He shall be brought forth. Allah will make him recount His blessings (i. e. the blessings which He had bestowed upon him) and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his life)._

➡ (Then) will Allah say: ‘What did you do (to requite these blessings)?’ He will say: ‘I fought for You until I died as a martyr.’

*Allah will say: ‘You have told a lie. You fought so that you may be called a brave warrior. And you were called so.’*

🔥 _(Then) orders will be passed against him and he will be dragged with his face downward and cast into Hell._

_*Then a man will be brought forward who acquired knowledge and imparted it (to others) and recited the Qur’an.*_

_He will be brought forth and Allah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime)._

➡ _Then Allah will ask: ‘What did you do (to requite these blessings)?_

_He will say: ‘I acquired knowledge and disseminated it and recited the Qur’an seeking Your pleasure.’_

*Allah will say: ‘You have told a lie. You acquired knowledge so that you may be called a scholar, and you recited the Qur'an so that you may be called a Qari and such has been said.’*

🔥 _Then orders will be passed against him and he shall be dragged with his face downward and cast into the Fire._

_*Then a man will be brought whom Allah had made abundantly rich and had granted every kind of wealth.*_

_He will be brought forth and Allah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them and (admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime)._

➡ Allah will (then) ask: ‘What have you done (to requite these blessings)?’ He will say: ‘I spent money in every cause in which You wished that it should be spent.’_

*Allah will say: ‘You are lying. You did so, so that you may be called a generous person, and so it was said.’*

🔥 _Then Allah will pass orders and he will be dragged with his face downward and thrown into Hell.”_

💎 Thus, it is imperative that whatever good we do, we do it sincerely seeking Allah’s pleasure and His approval alone.

💎 A wise man once coined the similitude of a person who performs actions to show off to others as that person who fills his purse with stones instead of money.

✒ These will not help him at all. It will only make the purse seem heavy to others, who will think that he is wealthy.

✒ In a similar manner, the ostentatious person will appear to be pious to others, but will receive no reward for his actions from Allah (subhana wa ta’ala).

Iddah in Islam,why should a woman spend iddah

*MY HUSBAND JUST PASSED AWAY RECENTLY. WHY SHOULD I SPEND IDDAH?*

*QUESTION:*

I am a widow. My husband just passed away recently. Why should I spend Iddah?

*ANSWER:*

Shariah considers the natural disposition, circumstances and emotions of human beings. It is natural for a person to grieve upon the death of near and dear ones. Generally, the mourning period upon the demise of near and dear ones is three days.

See the following Hadith:

لاَ يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ، أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ، فَإِنَّهَا تُحِدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا (صحيح البخارى: 1280)

Translation: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for anyone who dies for more than three days except for a husband; she should mourn for him for four months and ten (days). (Bukhari: 1280)

However, the pain and grief of a widow losing her husband is greater in comparison to the pain and grief of any other person passing away.

Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam) stated:

لَمْ يرَ لِلْمُتَحَابَّيْنِ مِثْلَ النِّكَاحِ (سنن ابن ماجه: 1847)

Translation: There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another. (Ibn Majah: 1847)

Hence, Shariah has considered the close bond and relationship between the spouses and understand the extent of pain and grief of the widow. Shariah has thus stipulated the mourning period for a widow for four months and ten days to give her time to mourn and overcome her emotions. Allah Ta’ala says:

وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ۖ فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِي أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ (البقرة:234)

Translation: “For those men who die amongst you and leave behind wives, they (the wives) must confine themselves (spend iddah) for four months and ten days.” (Al-Baqarah: 234)

When a person submits to the order of Allah Ta’ala, there will be Barakah and goodness in fulfilling the order. Conversely, if one goes against the order of Allah Ta’ala, one will be deprived of the mercy and help of Allah Ta’ala. A grieving widow is in dire need of the help of Allah Ta’ala. The best recourse for her is to submit to the order of Allah Ta’ala and observe Iddah. See the following verses on submitting to the order of Allah Ta’ala:

{وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ} [النساء: 13]

Translation: Whoever obeys Allah and His Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam), Allah will enter him into Jannah beneath which rivers flow, where they shall live forever. That is the supreme success. (Nisaa: 13)

{وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا} [النساء: 69]

Translation: Those who obey Allah and the Rasool will be with those Ambiyaa, Siddeeqeen and righteous ones on whom Allah has bestowed His bounties. These are indeed the best of companions. (Nisaa: 69)

‘Iddah is actually the right of the husband upon the widow. A woman who observes Iddah fulfils the command of Allah Ta’ala and also fulfils the rights of her husband. She thus receives reward for fulfilling the right of her husband even after his demise.

‘Iddah is also a means of raising the esteem of the marriage, honouring its status and showing reverence to the bond of marriage. It is a period of planning for a smooth shift into the life ahead. It gives a woman time off from the public domain and thereby, protect her dignity.

If a widow does not have any source of income and she needs to earn an income, she may go out in the day and return before the night. If a woman has a source of income or she could work from home, it is prohibited for her to leave the home during ‘Iddah. Observing ‘Iddah and the laws of ‘Iddah is compulsory an act of great virtue. A woman in ‘Iddah is in the mercy of Allah. Her Du’as are accepted. She should use the time to make ‘Ibadah and also make Isaale Thawaab for her husband. She should perform Nafl Salah, recite Qur’an and give charity. She should also make Istighfaar for him. See the following narrations:

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ أُمِّي افْتُلِتَتْ نَفْسُهَا، وَأَظُنُّهَا لَوْ تَكَلَّمَتْ تَصَدَّقَتْ، فَهَلْ لَهَا أَجْرٌ إِنْ تَصَدَّقْتُ عَنْهَا؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ (صحيح البخارى: 1388)

Translation: ‘Aisha (Radhiyallahu ‘Anha) narrates that A man said to the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam), My mother died suddenly and I thought that if she had lived, she would have given alms. So, if I give alms now on her behalf, will she get the reward?’ The Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied, ‘Yes’. (Bukhari: 1388)

إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: إِلَّا مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ (صحيح مسلم: 14)

Translation: When a man dies his acts come to an end but three, recurring charity, knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious child who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim: 14)

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَرْفَعُ الدَّرَجَةَ لِلْعَبْدِ الصَّالِحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ، أَنَّى لِي هَذِهِ؟ فَيَقُولُ: بِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَلَدِكَ لَكَ (مسند احمد:10610)

Translation: Verily, Allah shall elevate the grade of a righteous servant in Paradise, who will ask, ‘O Lord! How did I earn this?’ Allah will reply, ‘Through your son’s invoking Me to forgive you. (Musnad Ahmad: 10610)

We make Du’a Allah grant all women who have become widows Sabr Jameel and courage to overcome the emotional period of ‘Iddah. May Allah grant their husbands Jannatul Firdaws and make their graves gardens of paradise. May Allah grant us the realisation of our death and prepare for death and meeting Allah. Aameen.

*AYAAT OF THE DAY*

*The Ka’abah is the First House of Worship On Earth.....Aal-Imran Ayaat 96-97 *

*اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَيۡتٍ وُّضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَـلَّذِىۡ بِبَكَّةَ مُبٰرَكًا وَّهُدًى لِّلۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۚ‏ *

*(3:96) Behold, the first House (of Prayer) established for mankind is the one at Bakkah: it is full of blessing and a centre of guidance for the whole world.*

*فِيۡهِ اٰيٰتٌ ۢ بَيِّنٰتٌ مَّقَامُ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَۚ*

*وَمَنۡ دَخَلَهٗ كَانَ اٰمِنًا ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الۡبَيۡتِ مَنِ اسۡتَطَاعَ اِلَيۡهِ سَبِيۡلًا ؕ وَمَنۡ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنِ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ*

*(3:97) In it there are clear signs and the station of Abraham; whoever enters it becomes secure.*

*Pilgrimage to the House is a duty owed to Allah by all who can make their way to it. As for those who refuse to follow His command, surely Allah does not stand in need of anything.*

_Ka’abah was the first house of worship to be built on the earth for all the people._

_This House was re-built by Ibraheem ‘alayhi salaam whose religion the Jews and the Christians claim to follow. However, they do not perform Hajj to the House that Ibraheem ‘alayhi salaam built by Allah’s command and to which he invited the people to perform Hajj.🤔_

● Describing the House, Allah ﷻ says

*“blessed and a guidance for the worlds.”*

📍 How is it blessed?

_It has been seen that most of the people who go for pilgrimage, they come back changed. They are motivated to hold on to the spiritual high that they have experienced and reform themselves._

_Men are seen to be keen on leaving haram jobs or businesses. Women adopt the Islamic dress code. Some return to their hometowns and enroll in a religious class._

_*Of course, these reformations are only seen in the people who were "sincere in their worship" and they “desired” guidance.*_

💫 Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Dharr رضالله عنه said,

_“I said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ ! Which Masjid was the first to be built on the earth?’_

*The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘Al-Masjid Al-Haram (in Makkah).’*

_I said, ‘Which one was built next?’^

*He replied, ‘Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem).’*

_I said, ‘What was the period of time between building the two?’_

*He said, ‘Forty years.’*

*The Names of Makkah such as Bakkah*

_Bakkah means *“it brings Buka’ (crying, weeping) to the tyrants and arrogant”* meaning they cry and become humble in its vicinity. (Ibn kathir)_

_It was also said that Makkah was called Bakkah because people "do Buka" next to it meaning *they gather around it.*_

▪︎ There are many names for Makkah such as Bakkah.

Al-Bayt Al-‘Ateeq [the Ancient House]

Al-Bayt Al-Haram [the Sacred House]

Al-Balad Al-Amin [the City of Safety]

Al-Ma’moon [Security].

Makkah’s names include Umm Rahm [Mother of Mercy],

Umm Al-Qura [ Mother of the Towns], Salah, as well as others.

*The Station of Ibraheem ‘alayhi salaam*

Allah ﷻ says,

*“In it are clear signs,”* meaning clear signs that Ibraheem ‘alayhi salaam built the Ka’abah and that Allah ﷻ has honored and blessed it.

*“…the standing place of Ibraheem,”*

when the Ka’abah was raised, Ibraheem ‘alayhi salaam stood on the Maqaam [station] so that he could raise the walls higher while his son Isma’eel ‘alayhi salaam was handing the stones to him.

_[Note that the Maqaam was situated right next to the House. Later, during the reign of ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab رضالله عنه the Maqaam was moved farther to the east for the ease in performing Tawaf without disturbing those who pray next to the Maqaam (after finishing the Tawaf).]_

▪︎ Mujahid said, “The impression of Ibraheem’s feet remains on the Maqaam as a clear sign.”

*Al-Haram, the Sacred Area, is a Safe Place*

Allah ﷻ says,

*“And whoever enters it shall be safe.”*

▪︎ The Haram of Makkah is a safe refuge for those in a state of fear.

▪︎ There in its vicinity, they will be safe, as was the case during the time of Jahiliyyah [pre-Islamic period of ignorance].

💫 Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,

_“During the time of Jahiliyyah a man would commit murder, then wear a piece of wool around his neck and enter the Haram._

_And even when the son of the murdered person would meet him, he would not make a move against him, until he left the sanctuary.”_

▪︎ It is not allowed for anyone to hunt in the Haram or to drive game out of its den to be hunted or cut the trees in its vicinity or pick its grass, as the ahadeeth of the Prophet ﷺ and the statements of the Companions testify.

💫 _The Two Saheehs recorded (this being the wording of Muslim) that Ibn ‘Abbas رضالله عنه said, “On the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,..._

*‘There is no more Hijrah [migration to Madinah], only Jihad and good intention. If you were mobilized, then march forth.’”*

💫 On the day of the conquest of Makkah, he also said,

*“Beware! Allah made this town (Makkah) a sanctuary when He created the heavens and earth, and it is sacred by Allah’s decree until the Day of Resurrection.*

*Fighting in Makkah was not permitted for anyone before me, and it was made legal for me for only a few hours or so on that day.*

*No doubt, it is at this moment a sanctuary by Allah’s decree until the Day of Resurrection.*

*It is not allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs, hunt its game, pick up its lost objects, except by announcing it, or to uproot its trees.”*

_Al-‘Abbas رضالله عنه said, “Except the lemon grass, O Allah’s Messenger, as they use it in their houses and graves.”_

*The Prophet ﷺ said, “Except lemongrass.”*

💫 _Abdullah ibn ‘Adi ibn Al-Hamra’ Az-Zuhri said that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say while standing at Al-Hazwarah in the marketplace of Makkah,_

*“By Allah! You are the best of Allah’s land and the most beloved land to Allah. Had it not been for the fact that I was driven out of you, I would not have left you.”*

Allah says (and He created the jinn and mankind only to worship)

The jins see us but we do not see them because Allah has made a membrane in the eyes of man so that we do not see them because if we see them we might die of fear or become blind because of the shock. Their sight is really terrifying .

They always live around us and there are 3 types of them :

➖Elifrit -this ones have the ability to transfer things from one country to another and they are used by witches and sorcerers

➖Alkhabal- these are the freaks of the jin and they disturb man such as wearing their clothes, eplilepsy and so on

➖Ghilan- They appear in form of man,cat, dog, donkey, or any animal.

Generally? All of them are weak and they flee when they hear Surat Yassin, muawadhatein, or surat baqarah. Therefore I advise you dear muslim brother or sister;

1. When you change your clothes say bismillahi Rahmani Raheem, so that they don't see your nakedness.

2. When you sleep, sleep on your right side and read the Muawadhatein because the jin will sleep over you and suffocate you and also make you have nightmares just to bother you.

3. Beware of planting pins or nails in the puppets or dolls for they live there. If you disturb them, they will revenge on you.

4. Do not speak loudly in the middle of the night because you can upset them and they deliberately hurt you in silence

5. Do not cry alone because your jin becomes sad on your sadness and they wait to hug you so your body temperature goes high.

6. You should Mention Allah when throwing something and jumping from a high place because there might be a jin sleeping and you disturb them and they revenge on you.

7. Don't pour hot water in the toilet unless you say the dua for entering the toilet (Allahuma inni audhu bika minal khubuthi wal khabaaith )

Because toilets are their favorite place to stay.

8. If you feel your ears whistling without a cause or illness and you can smell fire, know that a jin is standing in front of you.

9. If you see an animal and you get scared or you try to scare it but doesnt respond, know that its a jinn.

10. Dont stand undressed in front of a mirror or look at yourself since a jinn can fall in love with you and will try to mingle with you and end up hurting anyone who approaches you.

Don't be scared. Always remember Allah for they melt when Allah is mentioned just like metal that melts in the fire.

READING FICTION AND WATCHING CARTOONS FOR LEISURE - IS THIS PERMISSIBLE?

*QUESTION:*

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakathu.

Alhamdulillah, I have been trying my best to do what our Deen wants us to do but I have lately been having many temptations to read and watch what I abandoned. I want to read the story books that I have, such as Harry Potter, and there are other books that have pictures in them. My head has been hurting from the stress of trying to figure out what to do and I have been further confused about how I can teach my future children because in schools, cartoons are used in textbooks and even in educational videos but all of this is haram.

I have been thinking how I was young and used to read story books with pictures and many had moral guidelines even if they were written by Non-Muslims and I miss reading them. I have been getting waswasas about abandoning my religion because my subconscious has been told by my close ones that if I restrict myself too much, then I will eventually abandon everything.

Hence, my confusion is about three main things:

1. Would it be haram to watch digital cartoons for purposes of education and also leisure? If yes, what would be a good, pleasurable alternative?

2. Harry Potter is both a series that entices me and offends me. It propagates feminism and wrong morals, it also has a corrupt newspaper under the name "The Daily Prophet" but it connects me with my childhood and I yearn to enjoy the adventure in the books. As Harry Potter's magic is fake and as I know what is good and bad character, can I read these books for the sake of leisure and also inspiration for my own writing?

3. Children learn through cartoons. I have noticed that I enjoy observing animals but when I was young, I used to watch comedic cartoons, like Tom and Jerry, and that this fostered my creativity and applied it to real life. As children go towards cartoons and can insist on watching them because of how attractive they are and as it will boost their creativity, how can we give them the correct upbringing?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We are pleased to hear of your commitment to stick to what the Shari’ah permits. Remember, shaytaan is our enemy and he has a sole objective. To tempt us away from the obedience of Almighty Allah and entrap us into the pit of sin.

The fact that you experience temptations to go back to what you had abandoned is a sign that shaytaan is trying to beguile you. You gave up these acts and must now firmly resolve to never go back to them. You will receive immense reward for your determination.

As for your queries,

1. The permissibility of digital photography and videos is a highly contested issue amongst contemporary Ulama. Whilst many Ulama permit this, many others consider it to be the same as typical photography, hence deeming it impermissible. Hence, the path of Taqwa would be to abstain.

Furthermore, this difference of opinion is with regards to cartoons which are free from music etc. Rarely are cartoons free from such vices. Nevertheless, there are some Islamic cartoons which are free from such vices.

2. In principle, it is permissible to read novels and other literature provided the contents are in conformity with the Shari’ah and Islamic etiquettes. Literature which contains vulgarity, promotes immorality, or glorifies that which Almighty Allah has forbidden should not be read. For example, some famous current day novels glorify magic and sorcery to children, while others promote promiscuity and adultery amongst adults. Such novels are detrimental to ones Imaan and are not permissible to read.

Alternatively, there are many fictional works which do not contain messages contrary to Islamic ethics. One may resort to such material. Islamic literature, especially works on Islamic history, are extremely well written and can be an enjoyable read. Encouraging one’s children to begin reading the Seerah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) as well as stories of the Sahabah and previous Ambiyaa is an easy method to inculcate Islamic ethics within a child.

3. Cartoons have been researched to be quite detrimental to children. There are pros and cons to it, but the cons outweigh the pros.

Alternatively, there are some Islamic cartoons that are free from all Haram elements. You may also consider documentaries (free from music etc.) regarding nature and the animal kingdom. Making ones children avid readers is also an efficient method of boosting creativity.

*QUESTIONS:*

*1)* Is it allowed for a muslim to say RIP (Rest in Peace) for a dead person (both muslim and non-muslim)?

*2)* Are we allowed to buy graves for ourselves in advance? Also, if so, do we pay zakat on the value of it, since it may considered an asset, and how do we calculate its value?

*3)* I have a dilemma. Alhamdolillah, I make regular donation for the mosque construction, I also have some loan on me as well, e.g. Education loan (OSAP). I have been thinking that i should divert the donation money towards paying off my loan, but i feel bad to stop making donation for the mosque.

*ANSWER:*

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

*1)* R.I.P. effectively is a dua for the deceased. Muslims have been prohibited from making dua for those who have passed away on kufr. Therefore, it will not be permissible to say r.i.p. for non-Muslims. R.I.P. is commonly used amongst non-Muslims therefore; it is advisable that one does not use it. It will be better rather to use dua’s such as رحمه الله تعالى (May Allah Ta’ala have mercy on him) and similar type of dua’s for muslims.

*2)* It is permissible to buy ones grave in advance. Our illustrious fuqaha mention that one will be rewarded if he prepares his own grave.

There will be no zakat on the grave.

*3)* One should pay his debts first. However, one should continue contributing to the Masjid even if it may be a very minimal amount as quantity does not count rather it is one’s sincerity which counts.

Dajjal's One Time Power to Revive the Dead

Narrated Abu Saeed (radi Allahu anhu): “One day Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) narrated to us a long narration about Ad-Dajjal and among the things he narrated to us was: ‘Ad-Dajjal will come, and he will be forbidden to enter the mountain passes of Madina. He will encamp in one of the salt areas neighboring Madina and there will appear to him a man who will be the best or one of the best of the people. He will say ‘I testify that you are Ad-Dajjal whose story Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa

Sallam) told us.’ Ad-Dajjal will say (to his audience), ‘Look, if I kill this man and then give him life, will you have any doubt about my claim?’ They will reply, ‘No.’ Then Ad-Dajjal will kill that man and then will make him alive. The man will say, ‘By Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala), now I recognize you more than ever!’ Ad-Dajjal will then try to kill him (again) but he will not be given the power to do so.” [Sahih Bukhari]

If a person claims to be a horse is there any need to ask him for proof? His appearance as a human is enough to refute his claims. The fact that Dajjal is not Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) is even more obvious than this! The reason that Dajjal’s friends and followers are his audience is because they entertain his “proofs”! To ask Dajjal for proof of his being Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) or to deliberate over such “proofs” is to fall into kufr. It means that the person has no sense of who Allah (the Most Sublime) is!

Dajjal will be given the power, by Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala’s) permission, to kill and revive a man once. He will not have the power to do so again. This is part of his fitnah, to test who remains true to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala). Since Muslims already believe in the power that Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) gave to Eesa (Jesus)(alaihis salam) to revive the dead, and it was not limited to a single time, it is of no significance that Dajjal is able to revive a dead man one time! Eesa (alaihis salam) never claimed to be Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) because of the extraordinary powers that Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) bestowed on him but remained a humble servant and prophet of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala).

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) informs us that this man who calls Dajjal a liar and false claimant is one of the best people to ever live. He will accept being killed for the sake of the truth, will be revived and will again give testimony that Dajjal is a liar.

Dajjal's Fire and Water

Uqba bin Amr said to Hudhaifa (radi Allahu anhuma), "Won't you relate to us of what you have heard from Rasul Allah?(sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam)" He said, "I heard him saying, "When Ad-Dajjal appears, he will have fire and water along with him. What the people will consider as cold water, will be fire that will burn. So, if anyone of you comes across this, he should fall into the thing which will appear to him as fire, for in reality, it will be fresh cold water." [Sahih Bukhari]

Dajjal is the ultimate liar. He claims to be Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) in order to cause Muslims to commit Kufr (apostasize). He threatens, kills, decieves and tempts people in various ways, all so that they leave Islam. Even the water and fire with him are lies. Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) told us that should one have to choose between the two they should choose that which appears to be fire for in reality it will be water, while that which appears to be cool water will be fire.

Another hadith in Sahih Bukhari mentions that Dajjal “will bring with him what will resemble Hell and Paradise, and what he will call Paradise will actually be Hell.” Dajjal is the ultimate imposter. What he brings is just to test humankind to see who believes in him and who remains steadfast in their belief in Allah (subhana wa ta’ala). True Paradise and Hell are with Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) alone and only He has the power to put people where they truly belong.

Parents are the Gates

Abu Umama (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that a man enquired from the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): “O Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam)! What are the rights of parents over their offspring?” The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “Your entry into Paradise or Hell depends on your good or bad conduct towards your parents.” [Ibn Majah]

In other words

, if you treat them well the gates of Paradise will be opened for you and you will be admitted therein, but if you violate the rights that your parents have over you, the gates of Hell will be opened for you and you will be consigned to serve as fuel for it.

The following is the advice that Abdullah bin Umar gave to Abdullah ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhuma) regarding how he should treat his parents:

“If you talk to them in a polite manner and look after their needs and feed them well, you will certainly be admitted to Paradise provided you abstain from major sins.” [Al-Adab-ul Mufrad]

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) once saw two men. He asked one of them, “What is your relationship with the other man?” The man replied, “He is my father.” Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) thereupon advised him, “Look, never call him by his name, walk ahead of him, or sit before he takes his seat.” [Al-Adab-ul Mufrad]

In other words, it is not just their material needs of food, clothing, shelter, and medicine that we need to be mindful of. We also need to show them respect and consideration in every deed. We should address them with titles of respect, and make sure that they are comfortable before we make ourselves comfortable.

The most important right of parents over their children is their right to eeman. Should the child be blessed with faith and find it lacking in the parents, they need to try with utmost love, gentleness and concern to explain and try to instill the love of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) and His Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) in them. Didn’t they try their best to save us from all sorts of hazards and dangers while we were growing up? Who tried to save us from putting our fingers in electric sockets? Who taught us to be careful with fire? Who taught us to beware of strangers? Who tried to protect us from falling or getting cut or getting burned? Is it not then their right that we try to protect them from the Fire of Hell?

An onlooker should be able to tell by the deference shown, the outward behaviour and demeanour, who the parent is and who the child is. It is nothing but Godlessness in the society, whether it be of Muslims or non-Muslims, when children are observed talking to parents with gritted teeth and high handedness.

Walakal-hamd, Laka mulkus-samawati wal-ard wa man fihinna. Walakal-hamd, anta nurus-samawati wal-ard. Wa lakal-hamd, anta-l-haq wa wa’duka-lhaq, wa liqa’uka Haq, wa qauluka Haq, wal-jannatu Han wan-naru Haq wannabiyuna Haq. Wa Muhammadun, sallal-lahu’alaihi wasallam, Haq, was-sa’atu Haq. Allahumma aslamtu Laka wabika amantu, wa ‘Alaika tawakkaltu, wa ilaika anabtu wa bika khasamtu, wa ilaika hakamtu faghfir li ma qaddamtu wama akh-khartu wama as-rartu wama’a lantu, anta-l-muqaddim wa anta-l-mu akh-khir, la ilaha illa anta (or la ilaha ghairuka).

(O ALLAH! All the praises are for YOU, YOU are the Holder of the Heavens and the Earth, And whatever is in them. All the praises are for YOU; YOU have the possession of the Heavens and the Earth And whatever is in them. All the praises are for YOU; YOU are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth And all the praises are for YOU; YOU are the King of the Heavens and the Earth; And ALL the praises are for YOU; YOU are the Truth and YOUR Promise is the truth, And to meet YOU is true, YOUR Word is the truth And Paradise is true And Hell is true And all the Prophets (Peace be upon them) are true; And Muhammad (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) is true, And the Day of Resurrection is true. O ALLAH! I surrender (my will) to YOU; I believe in YOU and depend on YOU. And repent to YOU, And with YOUR help I argue (with my opponents, the non-believers) And I take YOU as a judge (to judge between us). Please forgive me my previous And future sins; And whatever I concealed or revealed And YOU are the ONE who make (some people) forward And (some) backward. There is none to be worshipped but YOU. Sufyan said that `Abdul Karim Abu Umaiya added to the above, ‘Wala haula Wala quwata illa billah’ (There is neither might nor power except with ALLAH). *(Bukhari)*

Asbahna Wa Asbahal Mulku Lillahi Rabbil Aalameen. Allahumma Innee As'aluka Khaira Hadhal Yaum Fathahu Wa Nasrahu Wa Nurahu Wa Barakatahu Wa Hudahu. Wa A'udhubika min Sharri Ma Feehi Wa Sharri Ma Ba'dahu

رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبَّاً وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينَاً وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم نَبِيَّاً َ

I am pleased with ALLAH as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى (اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) my Nabi.

اللهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرامكْ، وَأَغْنِني بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِواك

‘ALLAHUmmak finee bi halalika an haramik wa aghninee bi fadhlika amman siwak.’

O ALLAH! Let the Halal things you provide suffice me from haram, and by YOUR Grace, keep me independent from all besides YOU.

اللهمَّ إنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ، وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ

ALLAHUMA Inni A'oozu bika min jahdil balaai wa darkiShaqaai wa sooilQadhai wa shamatatilA'adai

O ALLAH! I seek refuge in YOU from severe trials and hardships, to be overtaken by wretchedness and bad fate and rejoicing of enemies

*اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ رَّبِّهٖ وَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَؕ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓـئِكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ*

*لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡ رُّسُلِهٖ*

*وَقَالُوۡا سَمِعۡنَا وَاَطَعۡنَا غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ‏*

*(2:285) The Messenger believes, and so do the believers, in the guidance sent down upon him from his Lord: each of them believes in Allah, and in His angels, and in His Books, and in His Messengers*

*They say: “We make no distinction between any of His Messengers*

*We hear and obey. Our Lord! Grant us Your forgiveness; to You we are destined to return.”*

★ _This verse outlines what one is required to believe in and what should be the distinguishing characteristics of one's conduct_

★ _Surah Al-Baqarah ends with the similar words that were stated in the beginning of this Surah._

📍 _*In the start of the Surah, we learned that "only" those who are the "Muttaqeen" [pious] will receive "guidance" from this Book" (the Qur’an).........The ayaat that followed described the "profile of the pious"*_

~ they are those who belief in the Unseen

~ in Allah ﷻ, in His Angels, in His Messengers, in the Day of Judgment and in His Books.

~ They establish prayers (i.e. not only offer prayers themselves at their appointed times but also encourage their fellow Muslims to offer them)

~ and share the provision that Allah ﷻ has provided them with.

~ They believe in the Book revealed to Muhammad ﷺ (i.e. the Qur’an) and in the previous Scriptures as they were revealed to their messengers (i.e. the Torah and Gospel).

📍 *In these ayaat, there is a reinforcement of the same belief.*

Unlike the previous nations who refused to obey their prophets, the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when they hear a command from Allah ﷻ say,

*“We hear and we obey.”*

▪︎ It means that we have heard the statement of Allah ﷻ our Lord, and comprehended and implemented it, and adhered to its implications.

▪︎ Their obedience to their Lord "does not make them haughty" but they seek forgiveness for whatever shortcomings they may have.

Fatiha

*Such is the profile of a believer.*

📍 _He believes in the Unseen and all that Allah ﷻ has commanded him to believe in; yet he does not consider his deeds sufficient......Therefore, he seeks forgiveness._

★ The phrase, *“(We seek) Your forgiveness, our Lord,”* contains a plea and supplication for Allah’s forgiveness, mercy and kindness.

★ The word *gufranaka [غُفْرَانَكَ]* means “to protect, cover or hide.”

Virtues of the Day of ‘Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah)

1. Sayyidunā Anas Ibn Mālik radhiyallāhu ‘anhu said, ‘It would be said regarding the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah that every day is equivalent to a thousand days, and the day of ‘Arafah is equivalent to ten thousand days i.e. in virtue.’ (At-Targhīb wat-Tarhīb)

2. Sayyidunā Ibn ‘Abbās radhiyallāhu ‘anhu reports that Rasūlullāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said, ‘Indeed, this (i.e. the day of ‘Arafah) is such a (special) day that one who controls his ears, eyes and tongue on this day will be forgiven.’ (Musnad Ahmad)

3. Sayyidunā Abū Qatādah Al-Ansārī radhiyallāhu ‘anhu narrated that Rasūlullāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam was asked about the fast on the day of ‘Arafah. He said, ‘It compensates for the (minor) sins of the past and the coming year.’ (Muslim, At-Tirmidhī, Ibn Mājah)

4. Sayyidah ‘Ā’ishah radhiyallāhu ‘anhā reports that Rasūlullāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said, ‘There is no day in which Allāh sets free more souls from the fire of hell than on the day of ‘Arafah. And on that day (the Mercy of) Allāh draws near and by way of exhibiting His Pride (for the Hujjāj) He remarks to the angels, “What is the desire of these (servants of mine)?”’ (Muslim)

5. Sayyidunā Ṭalhah radhiyallāhu ‘anhu reports that Rasūlullāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said, ‘Apart from the day of the Battle of Badr there is no day on which Shaytān is seen to be more humiliated, more rejected, more depressed and more infuriated, than on the day of ‘Arafah. And this is only due to him observing the (abundant) mercy descending (upon the Hujjāj) and Allāh forgiving (their) major sins.’ (Al-Muwatta’ – Imām Mālik)

*الٓمّٓ ۚۙ‏ *

(3:1) Alif, Lam, Mim.

*اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ الۡحَىُّ الۡقَيُّوۡمُؕ‏ *

*(3:2) Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Who sustains the entire order of the universe - there is no God but He.*

_Surah Aal-Imran begins with a reminder of Tawheed [Oneness of Allah]. Allah begins the Surah by describing some of His attributes._

★ The Surah begins with *Haroof ul Muqataat.* No one knows their meaning except Allah ﷻ

★ _Haroof ul Muqataat means the disjointed letters because these letters are read individually. They will always be written together but they are void of any harakah. For example, Alif-Laam-Meem cannot be read as alam._

★ Twenty-nine Surahs of the Qur’an begin with the Haroof ul Muqataat. Whenever Haroof ul Muqataat appear in the Qur’an, it will be noted that they are followed by an ayah that either exalts the status of the Qur’an or an ayah that explains some miraculous feature of the Qur’an.

*Ayah 2*

*“Allah”* this is the personal and Grand Name of Allah ﷻ

“La ilaha illa Huwa,” there is no God but Allah. No one has the right to be worshiped but Him.

▪︎Explaining the word *ilah,* Ibn ‘Abbas رضالله عنه said that it is what everything worships and turns to.

_If He is the Only One that has the right to be worshiped then we need to let go of all the false deities that we have allowed to enter our lives._

How have we allowed the false deities?

In our lives, it is our love for other things or another human being that stops us from obeying Allah ﷻ

In our hearts, we know that we are in error and we must not do so

but we are so afraid of losing or offending the other person that we continue to disobey Allah ﷻ._

▪︎ Sometimes we value the opinion of our scholars or Shaikh so much that even if it contradicts with the authentic tafaseer and ahadeeth we refuse to acknowledge that our scholar or Shaikh could be wrong.

It is for us to look into our lives and see what false deities we have taken._

*Requirement for Worship*

1. It requires that the one being worshiped must occupy the highest point of honor and power and who has to be perfect from all angles.

2. Anything which cannot sustain its own being rather is dependent upon somebody else for its existence could hardly claim to have any honor or power in its own right.

Therefore, all things in this world which have no power to come into being by themselves, nor can they sustain it, none of them is worthy of worship._

*3. The only Being worthy of worship is the One who has always been Alive and Present and shall always live and sustain.*

*Such a Being is none but Allah; there is none worthy of worship but Him.*

WHICH ANIMALS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR QURBĀNI?

The following animals are not suitable for Qurbani:

*1.* An animal that is blind, one-eyed or has lost more than one-third of its eyesight.

_(Fataawa Hindiyyah)_

*2.* Animals that has more than lost a third of the ear. Similarly, animals which have no ears from birth. Animals with small ears are suitable.

_(Fataawa Hindiyyah)_

*3.* Animals whose horn/s has been broken off from the root. However, an animal born without horns or if the horns are broken off but not from the root is suitable for Qurbani.

_(Fataawa Shaamiyyah)_

*4.* Animals which have one leg lame to the extent that it walks on three legs only and is unable to use the fourth leg. However if the animal can walk to the place of slaughter on the fourth leg with a limp it will be allowed.

*5.* Animals so lean and thin that their bones have no marrow.

*6.* If an animal gets injured while slaughtering , e.g. breaks it’s leg, ear gets cut etc., the Qurbani will be valid.

*7.* If an animal was bought in a healthy and perfect state and thereafter became unfit for Qurbani then:

*A.* If the owner is not wealthy (possessor of nisaab) it will be permissible to offer this animal for Qurbani.

*B.* If the owner is wealthy (possesses the Nisaab), then it is compulsory for him to obtain another animal. _(Fataawa Shamiyyah)_

History of Aya Sofia, the center of Turkish culture

In the Turkish cultural city of Istanbul, "Aya Sofia" is not just a building, but a masterpiece of history that has left its mark on Turks in every age. Istanbul, known as "Constantinople" before the Ottoman Empire. Sofia was still a major cultural center.

Was Sofia built before Islam in the Byzantine government? The building was originally built as a place of worship for Orthodox Christians living here. The building was used as a church until the fall of the Byzantine Empire, but when King Muhammad II of the Ottoman Empire conquered what was then Constantinople, today's Istanbul, did he turn Sofia into a mosque?

Has Sofia played an important role in every era of Turkey? For Muslims and Christians, this building has always been a source of honor and respect and became the identity of Istanbul. Aya Sofia is the main reason why Istanbul is known in the world today. Millions of tourists from all over the world visit this building every year. Sofia's influence on Turkish culture is not hidden from anyone.

When the building was completed, it was used as a place of worship for Christians, but its status changed with each passing age.

King Constantine of Bantini ordered the building to be built in 360 AD. The building was completed in six years. Initially, the building was made of wood, but in 404 AD, a period of political unrest began in Constantinople under the rule of the Byzantine king Arcadios, and the building was set on fire during public protests, causing its wooden roof to collapse. Broke down

The building was rebuilt during the reign of King Theodosius II after Arcadios and was completed in 415. The new building had a five-cornered structure and a magnificent entrance to the building. Even then, its roof was made of wood.

The third time, in 527 AD, the building caught fire and its roof was destroyed by fire. In 532, Justin, king of the then Byzantine government, ordered it to be rebuilt. Its architects at the time were Izidoros and Anthemius. The building was rebuilt as a Christian synagogue, and the building that was built in 537 AD is still Aya Sofia.

The first worship took place in the newly built building on December 27, 537 AD, and the then King Justin said during the prayer service, "Thank God you gave me the opportunity to build a magnificent building for worship."

The new Aya Sofia building was built as a Christian place of worship with a huge dome and then several smaller domes.

Always in Turkey's hundreds of years of history, Sofia has left its mark on the political and cultural life of the Turks. Even in modern-day Turkey, Sofia is once again the subject of debate in Turkish political history.

During the Ottoman Empire, when King Muhammad II conquered Constantinople, the building was converted into a mosque and continued to be used as a mosque until 1935. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, turned the mosque into a museum in 1935.

Incumbent Turkish President Tayyip Erdoan announced in his political and election campaign that he will turn Istanbul's cultural heritage back into a mosque.

*ثُ‍‍مَّ أَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ*

*فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِ‍‍مٌ لِّ‍‍نَفْسِهِۦ وَمِنْهُ‍‍م مُّ‍‍قْ‍‍تَصِ‍‍دٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِ‍قٌۢ بِ‍‍ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ﴾*

*(Surah Fatir 35.32) Then We gave the Book as inheritance to such of Our servants whom We chose.*

*Then of them are some who wrong themselves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds.That -- that is indeed a great grace*

▪︎ _Allah caused it to inherit every Book that He had revealed....those who wrong themselves will be forgiven.....those who follow a middle course will have an easy accounting.... and those who are foremost in good deeds will enter Paradise without being brought to account.''_

♥️ The scholars are the most fortunate of people with regard to this blessing, and the most entitled to this mercy.

▪︎ Imam Ahmad recorded that Qays bin Kathir said

_"One of the people of Al-Madinah came to Abu Ad-Darda' رضالله عنه when he was in Damascus_

_*Abu Ad-Darda'رضالله عنه said, `What brought you here, my brother'*_

_He said, `A Hadith which I heard that you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ_

He said, `Have you come for trade'

He said, `No.'

He said, `Have you come for any other reason'

He said, `No.'

He said, `Have you come only to seek this Hadith'

He said, `Yes.'

He (Abu Ad-Darda'رضالله عنه) said, `I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:

_*Whoever follows a path to seek knowledge, Allah will show him the way to Paradise.*_

_*The angels lower their wings being pleased with the one who seeks knowledge.*_

_*Whoever is in the heavens and on earth, even the fish in the sea, ask for forgiveness for the scholar.*_

_*The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like that of the moon over all other heavenly bodies.*_

_*The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, for the Prophets did not leave behind Dinars and Dirhams, but they left behind knowledge; and whoever receives it, receives an abundance of good fortune.)'''*_

It was also reported by Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

THE HIDDEN WELL OF ZAMZAM

_Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of our Prophet ﷺ was a hugely respected figure and loved to be near the Kaaba so much so that on occasions he used to order a couch be delivered so he could sleep near the Kaaba._

▪ One such night whilst he was sleeping there a shadowy figure came to him in a vision and said: “Dig sweet clarity.” “What is sweet clarity?” he asked, but the speaker vanished.

▪ He nonetheless felt such happiness and peace of soul when he woke that he determined to spend the next night in the same place.

The visitant returned and said: “Dig beneficence.” But again his question received no answer.

▪ The third night he was told: “Dig the treasured hoard”, and yet again the speaker vanished at his questioning.

▪ But the *fourth night* the command was: “Dig Zamzam”; and this time when he said “What is Zamzam?” the speaker said:

_*“Dig her, thou shalt not regret, For she is thine inheritance From thy greatest ancestor. Dry she never will, nor fail to water all the pilgrim throng.”*_

It was through these divine instructions that Abdul Muttalib uncovered the Zamzam well, which had been hidden and buried for so many years.

Clearing the misconceptions regarding apostasy and its punishment

_A common accusation against Islam is that it orders killing of those who convert to other religions while Muslims go around converting people to Islam..!!!._

_If u have come across this question....read on.._

★ *Did Prophet Muhammad ﷺ kill apostates who converted to another religion?*

★ *Islam prescribes the death penalty for apostasy. Does this mean there is no freedom of religion in Islam?*

🔥 _Apostasy is divided into two types: major and minor._

_There is a distinction between an apostate who intends to physically harm the community and an apostate who only spiritually harms himself._

*Minor apostasy* is when a person embraces Islam while knowing its virtues and later rejects it.

▪ _There is no legal punishment for the minor apostate as long as they do not try to physically harm the Muslim community._

*Major apostasy* is when a person embraces Islam while knowing its virtues and later rejects it and adds to this a call for violent rebellion against the Muslim authorities.

_*Such a crime is equivalent to high treason and in its most severe case can carry the death penalty as an act of self-defense for the community.*_

*إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَّمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلًا*

*Verily, those who believed and then disbelieved, then believed and then disbelieved and increased in disbelief, never will Allah forgive them nor will He guide them to a right way.*..Surah An-Nisa 4:137

▪ _In this verse, Allah ﷻ describes a person who apostates from Islam twice and He does not prescribe legal punishment for him, but rather He only warns the apostate about severe punishment in the Hereafter._

▪ This demonstrates that the general rule is an apostate should be left alone, as the Quran prohibits compulsion in religion.

*لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ*

*There is no compulsion in religion. The truth is distinct from misguidance.*...Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256

*وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ*

*Say: The truth is from your Lord. So whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve.*...Surah Al-Kahf 18:29

Because of this, the Prophet ﷺ did not punish people simply because they rejected Islam.

▪ _Jabir reported: A bedouin came to the Prophet, ﷺ, and gave the pledge of allegiance for embracing Islam._

_The next day he came with a fever and said, “Please cancel my pledge.” The Prophet ﷺ refused three times and he said:_

*Medina is like a furnace. It expels its impurities and collects what is pure.*....Sahih Bukhari 1784

▪ In this example, a man rejected Islam after embracing it but the Prophet did not apply legal punishment to him.

*Regarding the major apostasy, the Prophet ﷺ was clear in advising us that legal punishment is not applied to a minor apostate, but only a major apostate.*

_Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, applied legal punishment in the following case:_

*The one who leaves his religion and separates from the community.*..Sahih Muslim 1676

▪ The reference to one who “separates from the community” (al-mufariq lil-jama’ah) indicates that a *person is not legally punished simply for not practicing Islam, but rather for high treason against Muslim authorities.*

_This is made even clearer in another narration in which the Prophet ﷺ describes the major apostate as:_

*A man who rejects Islam and wages war against Allah the Exalted and His Messenger.*...Sunan An-Nasa’i 4048

Ibn Abbas said:

_*Whoever kills others, spreads corruption in the land, wages war against Allah and His Messenger, and he joins the unbelievers before he is subdued, then there is nothing to prevent the legal punishment from being applied to him because of what he did.*_.. Sunan An-Nasa’i 4046

▪ What can be understood from these narrations is that

1. legal punishment is only applied to a person who combines apostasy with high treason.

_*This is because the Quran prohibits compulsion in religion as a general rule and because the believers should be the most restrained of the people when it comes to taking life.*_

▪ Furthermore, cases of major apostasy do not necessitate the death penalty if a single Muslim seeks protection for the apostate.

Ibn Abbas reported:

_Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh would write to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ but the devil deceived him and he joined the unbelievers._

_The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that he should be killed on the day of liberation, but Uthman ibn Affan sought protection for him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted him protection._

Sunan Abu Dawud 4358, Grade: Sahih

▪ In this example, a man embraced Islam and then rejected it by joining the idolaters of Mecca who at the time were waging war against the Muslims.

When Mecca surrendered to the Prophet without a fight,......

*Uthman ibn Affan sought protection for this apostate and the Prophet honored this covenant.*

This is because, as a general rule, the protection granted by a single Muslim should be honored by all Muslims

Allah knows best.

*The Prohibition of Alcohol and Gambling

*يَسۡـئَلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡخَمۡرِ وَالۡمَيۡسِرِؕ قُلۡ فِيۡهِمَآ اِثۡمٌ کَبِيۡرٌ وَّمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَاِثۡمُهُمَآ اَکۡبَرُ مِنۡ نَّفۡعِهِمَا

*(2:219) They ask you about wine and games of chance. Say: “In both these there is great evil, even though there is some benefit for people, but their evil is greater than their benefit.”...*

_One day ‘Umar al-Khattab, Mu’adh ibn Jabl and some other companions radhiAllahu ‘anhum approached the Prophet ﷺ and spoke to him about wine and gambling._

_They said that these two addictions not only spoil man’s reason but also cause financial loss and sought his advice in this connection. It was in answer to their question that this ayah was revealed._

📍 *This is the first ayah in which the Muslims have been stopped from wine and gambling.*

▪ It will be noted that drinking has not been clearly identified as something unlawful in this ayah, but its evils have been pointed out that may lead man into many sinful activities.

▪ soon after the revelation of this ayah, some Companions radhiAllahu ‘anhum took this so seriously that they stopped drinking then and there while others thought since the ayah does not declare wine as haram they could continue drinking.

▪ Consequently, so they did, until came a day when ‘Abdur Rahman ibn ‘Awf radhiAllahu ‘anhu invited some of his friends from among the Companions to his home.

When dinner was over, everybody started drinking wine as usual. In the meantime, the Maghrib Salah time came.

Everybody got up and selected one of them to lead the prayers. The Imam began his recitation from the Qur’an, but drunk as he was, he recited the Surah all wrong.

_Thereupon, the second step against drinking was taken and the following ayah was revealed:_

*“O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated…” [an-Nisa 4: 43]*

📍 Here, drinking was declared to be absolutely unlawful at the time of the prayer.

Some of the Companions completely stopped drinking deducing that something which stops one from prayer cannot hold any good at all. But still the issue of alcohol was not clear.

📍 _Later a third ayah was revealed on the subject that completely prohibited alcohol consumption and gambling._

*“O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, (sacrificing on) stone alters (to other than Allah), and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.” [al-Ma’idah 5: 90]*

▪ Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Maysarah said that ‘Umar radhiAllahu ‘anhu once said,

_“O Allah! Give us a clear ruling regarding Al-Khamr!”_

*Allah ﷻ sent down this ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah (2: 219).*

_‘Umar was then summoned and the ayah was recited to him. Yet, he still said, “O Allah! Give us a clear ruling regarding Al-Khamr.”_

*Then, the ayah in Surah An-Nisa’ was revealed (4: 43).*

_Then, when the prayer was called for, a person used to herald on behalf of Allah’s Messenger ﷺ “No drunk person should attend the prayer.” ‘Umar was summoned again and the ayah was recited to him. Yet, he still said, “O Allah! Give us a clear ruling regarding Al-Khamr.”_

*Then, the ayah that is in Surah Al-Ma’idah (5: 90) was revealed,*

_‘Umar was again summoned and the ayah was recited to him. When he reached:_

*فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُّنتَهُونَ*

*“So, will you not then abstain?” (5:91)*

_he said, “We did abstain, we did abstain.”_

_*About alcohol, ‘Umar radhiAllahu ‘anhu said, “It includes all what intoxicates the mind.”*_

ORPHANS ARE YOUR BROTHERS

*فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِؕ وَيَسۡـئَلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡيَتٰمٰىؕ قُلۡ اِصۡلَاحٌ لَّهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ ؕ وَاِنۡ تُخَالِطُوۡهُمۡ فَاِخۡوَانُكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ الۡمُفۡسِدَ مِنَ الۡمُصۡلِحِؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَعۡنَتَكُمۡؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيۡزٌ حَكِيۡمٌ‏*

*(2:220) both in regard to this world and the Next. They question you concerning orphans. Say: “To deal with them in the way which is to their good, that is best. And if you intermix (your expenses and living) with them, (there is no harm for) they are your brothers.” Allah knows the mischievous from the righteous, and had Allah willed, He would indeed have imposed on you exacting conditions; but He is All-Powerful, Most Wise.*

_Before this verse was revealed many severe injunctions had already been revealed regarding the protection of orphans' property_

★ _It had been ordained that._

*people should not even draw near to the property of the orphan' (6: 152), (17: 34) and that 'those who wrongfully eat the properties of orphans only, fill their bellies with fire' (4: 10).*

★ _It was not permissible for them to use food which belonged to the orphans, nor did they have the right to give what belonged to the orphans in charity. This was a matter of sheer discomfort and a source of loss to the orphans as well._

★ _Because of these severe injunctions the orphans' guardians were so over awed that they 【even separated the food and drink of the orphans from their own】; they felt anxious lest anything belonging to the orphans became mixed with their own._

_It is for this reason that they enquired of the Prophet ﷺ what the proper form of their dealings with orphans should be._

▪ Allah ﷻ reminds us that the purpose of His commands is not to make our lives difficult but to encourage us to live an honest life.

▪ There is no harm in mixing the property of the orphans with one’s wealth as long as no one’s right was being usurped.

▪ Allah ﷻ strengthened the bond by calling one another “brothers”.

▪ The above permission has been hemmed by a warning that Allah watches over the performance of guardians in this matter,

*“And Allah knows the corrupter from the amender…”*

He knows who is mischievous and who is righteous. He knows our intentions. Therefore, we should not wear a garb of piety but be truly righteous in our lives.

▪ Here It should also be remembered that looking after the needs of an orphan is not limited to providing them with food, shelter and clothing but also raising them.

★ _Many people believe that their responsibility ends at providing food, 【but in the absence of one’s parents who will do the tarbiyah of the children?】_

★ _Treat others’ children as you would like your children to be treated. Study the Seerah and see how Prophet’s grandfather and uncles raised him after both his parents had died._

He ﷻ could have, by setting up a harder code of conduct, put the people in trouble that cook separate meals for your family and for the orphan.

But, He has provided an easier code of conduct because He is All-Wise and does not obligate people with what they cannot do.

May Allah ﷻ soften our hearts and allow us to be kind and loving toward the orphans, aameen

_These devices are a direct weapon of Shaytaan and Dajjal in order to harness our weaknesses and use it in their favour._

★ After all, Dajjal will appear, maybe in the very near future, and need us to succumb to his requests.

★ No, he does not do this through force nor violence, but by making us slaves to our costly machines that we now value more than our life.

★ Cell phones create temptations. How often do guys just slide into your DMs on Instagram, or retweet your tweet on Twitter.

★ Of course, you might argue, this is life, you need to learn to handle this, but that is not the case.

_*People had lives without cell phones and so can we. This ‘delight’ is a deceptive trap set by Shaytaan to lure good, Allah-fearing young men and women into the fire with him.*_

★ A female’s reputation is fragile, and you are handing the key to you, building yourself up for disaster.

★ Hassan sent you, ‘I’m so glad someone finally gets how I feel. You’re really special.’?

_*Remember, if Hassan has the nerve to compliment a complete stranger like you, don’t you think he has multiple girlfriends?*_

📍 Don’t be despondent about using devices......just use them wisely.

*Listen to Qiraat, nasheeds and naseehats. Use them to your advantage.*

★ Don’t be fooled by the beautiful facade disguising the hate and enmity in the relationships of your friends.

★ If you dare tread this unsafe territory, be sure to wear safety gear, navigate the confusing map of high school and don’t give your heart to someone. They will most likely return it broken, and well passed its due date.

*Different wordings of the Tashahhud in the prayer*

💡There are several versions that are mentioned in the Sunnah.

_The worshiper may say any version of Tashahhud and this would be sufficient for him._

*Imaam Ahmad and Abu Haneefah* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn Mas'ood_

★ It's chain of narrators is more confirmed.

*Ash-Shaafi'I* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn ‘Abbaas_

★ It includes a more comprehensive meaning.

*Imaam Maalik* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by 'Umar_

★ He taught it to the people on the pulpit.

_"Abu Haneefah and Ahmad chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn Mas’ood which includes ten phrases:_

*“Attahiyyaatu lillaahi, was-Salawaatu at-Tayyibaat*

_All Glorification is due to Allah, all prayers and good words are for Allah_

*assalaamu `alayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu*

_May Allaah exalt your mention, O Prophet; mercy and blessings be upon you._

*as-salaamu `alayna wa `ala ibaadillaahi as-saaliheen.*

_Peace be upon us and all of Allah’s righteous slaves._

*Ash-hadu alla ilaaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluh*

_I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger_

*AFTER ATTIYAAT IS DUA...Any dua*

★ Durood e Ibrahim

★ Rabbana aatina fid duniya...

★ *Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, wa min 'athaabi jahannama, wa min fitnatil-mahyaa walmamaati, wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-dajjaal.*

_O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell-fire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah._

*اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ*

Al-Bukhari 2/102, Muslim 1/412, and this is Muslim's wording.

*Allaahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman katheeran wa laa yaghfir ul-dhunoob illa anta, faghfir li maghfiratan min ‘indaka warhamni, innaka anta al-Ghafoor al-Raheem*

*(O Allaah, indeed I have wronged myself greatly, and there is none who forgives sins besides You. So grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me, for You are the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful).’”*

_This du’aa’ may be recited in the final Tashahhud, after the prayers_

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'ahyaanaa ba'da maa 'amaatanaa wa'ilayhin-nushoor

Dua to be recited in the morning:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

أَصْبَـحْـنا وَأَصْبَـحْ المُـلكُ للهِ رَبِّ العـالَمـين ، اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أسْـأَلُـكَ خَـيْرَ هـذا الـيَوْم ، فَـتْحَهُ ، وَنَصْـرَهُ ، وَنـورَهُ وَبَـرَكَتَـهُ ،

وَهُـداهُ ، وَأَعـوذُ بِـكَ مِـنْ شَـرِّ ما فـيهِ وَشَـرِّ ما بَعْـدَه

(Hisn from Abu Dawood)

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْْقَيُّومُ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullah al-’Azeem al-lazi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih

I am pleased with ALLAH as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى (اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) my Nabi.

اللهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرامكْ، وَأَغْنِني بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِواك

‘ALLAHUmmak finee bi halalika an haramik wa aghninee bi fadhlika amman siwak.’

O ALLAH! Let the Halal things you provide suffice me from haram, and by YOUR Grace, keep me independent from all besides YOU.

ALLAHUMA Inni A'oozu bika min jahdil balaai wa darkiShaqaai wa sooilQadhai wa shamatatilA'adai

O ALLAH! I seek refuge in YOU from severe trials and hardships, to be overtaken by wretchedness and bad fate and rejoicing of enemies

All Praises are due to ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALAH), The Forgiver and Concealer of Faults, The Guide to Repentance, The ONE who Responds to duas

Peace and Blessings be upon the most perfect of creations, HIS Beloved Habeeb, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

O OUR MOST COMPASSIONATE ALLAH help the Muslim Ummah and do not help anyone against us. Grant us victory from the disbelievers, O اللّـه

O OUR SUSTAINER, O اللّـه, plan your plans in our favour and do not allow the plans of anyone to work against us. Guide us, O اللّـه , and make guidance easy for us

O OUR CHERISHER, O اللّـه, help us against those who oppress us, Make us such that we remember YOU abundantly, that we are ever grateful to YOU, that we are ever fearful of YOU, O اللّـه

O OUR MOST BELOVED اللّـه, make us ever submissive to YOU, that we are ever obedient to YOU, that we find solace from YOU alone, that we turn our attention to YOU alone, and that we turn to YOU alone

O OUR MOST MERCIFUL ALLAH, accept our repentance, wash our sins, accept our supplication, make our tongues speak the truth, give guidance to our hearts, remove malice from within our chests

O اللّـه, on this Blessed Day of Youmul Jum'uah, we ask YOU to guide us on Siraatul Mustaqeem and accept this dua of ours آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Subhaanarabika Rabbil Izzati Amma Yassifoon Wassalaamun Alal Mursaleen Walhumdulillahir Rabbil Aalameen
