Her daughter is graduation college and these are her colors red, black, white and blue.

I made the bottom of this centerpiece like a wreath making it out of a foam noodle. Then I decorated it with red deco mesh. I used a styrofoam square in the middle so that I could attach my pole and the sticks to hold my paper piecings. The paper piecings of the graduation girl and the title are from Designs by Cloud 9 "The Graduation Collection" and can be found HERE

Teacher Appreciation Gift

I just LOVE going through the 1.00 section at Target that they put right in front of the store. I find the cutest things for crafting and homeschooling in this section. Last week I found these pencil containers there and was so excited! They are too cute! I wrapped them with school papers from MAMBI and used 3D dimensional school stickers. Wrapped it up with raffia and ribbon. I wrote "You are mint to teach" thank you for being my teacher.

Inside the container I put mint candies. The teacher's loved them!!!

Flat Stanley Goes to Seattle, Washington Layout

2012-02-29T15:22:00.000-08:00

My son Jayden received a Flat Stanley in the mail from his cousin Tanner who lives in Colorado. We had so much fun with him =D

Here is all about what Flat Stanley is:

Stanley Lambchop and his younger brother Arthur are given a big bulletin board by their Dad for displaying pictures and posters. He hangs it on the wall over Stanley's bed. During the night the board falls from the wall, flattening Stanley in his sleep. He survives and makes the best of his altered state, and soon he is entering locked rooms by sliding under the door, and playing with his younger brother by being used as a kite. One special advantage is that Flat Stanley can now visit his friends by being mailed in an envelope. Stanley even helps catch some art in an art museum thieves by posing as a painting on the wall. Eventually Arthur changes Stanley back to his proper shape with a bicycle pump.

Shabby Accents Blog Hop Feb. 27th -28th

2012-02-27T14:02:00.001-08:00

Welcome to the Shabby Accents Blog Hop!

If you have arrived here from Melissa's Blog you are on the right track.

If not, please start HERE

The shabby chic style has been around for many many years, originating from Great Britain, where time worn items were showcased in most country homes. Today’s essence of shabby chic is to achieve that time worn layered vintage look from yesteryear by painting, distressing, dying or tea staining. Now we bring it to you right from our craft tables.

Please follow along as the following crafters showcase their handmade Shabby Chic Accents. Be sure to visit each blog, as each artist will be having a giveaway. Also, we have a couple of awesome sponsors who have generously donated for a “Grand Prize Giveaway”. Their shops are full of shabby goodness. To qualify, all you have to do is leave a comment on each blog.

Valentine's Decor and Gifts Blog Hop

2012-02-08T20:45:00.000-08:00

Hi and welcome to the Valentine's Décor and Gifts Blog Hop.

If you happened here by chance you're in luck! There will be 20 stops full of great ideas, so grab a beverage and head over to the hostess' blog. Staci's blog is at http://preciousmem.blogspot.com/. The sponsor for this hop is Designs on Cloud 9 at http://designsoncloud9.com/ and she has offered us a $20 gift voucher for the GRAND prize.

Head over to her Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Designs-on-Cloud-9/189551027737837 and show her some love. One lucky person who comments on this hop will be the winner of this generous prize. (One person from each stop will be chosen at random and we will then hold a random draw with those 20 people and one lucky person will win the grand prize).

For my project I wanted to share with you I created two of these candle holders for my mantel. I took some wrapping tissue and covered the glass holder with it. Then I created the flourish frame border cutting file, circle doily frame and the kissing couple. I am happy how it came out...its so much prettier in person but you can still see how much it lights up with my battery candle inside.

Thank you so much for hopping by my blog on this hop! I have a fanpage on Facebook also and would love if you "liked" my page to keep in touch =D here is the link:
