The long holiday season that allowed vacation times are over now and we are all starting to get back to our usual daily routine. But the problem really is in waking up early in the morning again. It is hard to get up on your memory foam mattress with this kind of weather. The early mornings have been cold and the night hours have been long. It tends to still be dark even at six o clock in the morning. That’s why my son Kyle has been complaining every time I wake him up in the morning for school. He said, “It is still night dad ( he means it’s still dark), why are you trying to wake me up?”

House Renovation

I am sure with all the bonuses you received, some of you already allotted to have your house renovated or repaired. Almost three of my neighbors have done some renovations in their houses. But as we all heard in the news, thousands of family lost their houses and some got damaged by the recent storm that hit in the southern parts of the country. Hopefully construction supplies prices will not go up in these areas. Instead, I hope they will give home depot coupons
to help those who were affected.

I was able to talk to my friend based in he United States and asked him about iphone case. He told me that he was able to buy his iPhone case for five USD only. According to him, people there usually don’t aim at how to look good on it as long as it is cheap, affordable and can protect their iPhone, This is so unlike here in the Philippines where most of the people want their phone to look good even if it will cost them more.

Swimming Time

Our son really loves to swim. That’s why we think it would make him happy if we let him take swimming lessons at an early age. We are glad that he is learning fast.

One weekend, we went to the south and spent overnight in a hotel. There was a pool, as expected, and my son wanted to swim despite the cold weather. The hotel doesn’t have pentair heat pumps for it. At first he was just contented in a children’s pool but after he saw some of the children in an adult pool, he also transferred, not knowing that it was deep. He was just diving and the he realized he’s into something quite deep for his age. He seemed to have no choice and managed to swim his way back to the side of the pool all by himself.

My wife’s cousin hosted a shower party for his incoming daughter. Another member of the family and also another girl is going to be added. We missed receiving invitationbox.com birth announcements from a boy. My son is still the only boy in the family. No body can compare how much I love my son but given a chance I wish he will be his sister soon. I really wish a daughter hopefully in Yahweh’s time.

Another long weekend is about to be here. To those who are not yet satisfied about the long holidays, the weekend in the last weeks or to those who never had a chance to go out of town is our other chance. Another long weekend is about to be here. Those of us who really miss out of town trips can hopefully plan this time. How I wish we can have a vacation out of town, so that if there’s a long weekend like this we will have a place to go. There is no need to pay except for the log cabin decor, food and some recreation games.

I remember during our high school years, a pocket dictionary used to be really important to us. Dictionaries and encyclopedias were the only things we really needed for our research and projects. Unlike today where you can find everything online. There is no need for volumes and volumes of encyclopedias anymore, since now you can have them on CD. You can even havespeaking dictionary and thesaurus if you want. E-book is also available.

Long Weekends

The last day of October is already been declared as holiday. Thus it will give us another chance to have a long weekend and those who are going to visit their love ones who already passed away in the provinces will have their chance to do so. Life is so precious a very special gift our Almighty Father has given to us. We have to take good care of and treasure it. Sometimes we forget those who love us we only remember her or him if he or she is already gone. I remember my classmate who died early because of a disease. We were seatmates then. Because she was so intelligent I would always depend on her every time we have quiz. I remember she would always tell me that what shall I do if she would already gone. I told her in a joke that to find another giving set mate. Sometimes I got mad at her because she always came late at school, sometimes she misses quizzes without knowing that a disease was already killing her at that time. In a few months she passed away. Sadly her parents spent their money before she died. That’s why sometimes term life insurance and other health care insurance is very important. But we always remember her.

Why is that we could always see in some adults movie about those women wearing nurse lingerie. I am a male nurse and sometimes I felt degraded and sometimes mad that they usually associate nurse with an adult movie. Sometimes they even wearing nurse cap. They do not know that there were responsibilities in wearing it and nurse associations can even file a complaint about it. Especially wearing of nurse cap if you are not a nurse and just showing it in not a good manner and purpose. I hope people behind all this will someday learn their lesson.

You can never tell when the blessing will come in to your life. Only our Almighty Father knows and in His time He will grant you blessings in life. For instance, I never expected that one day that I could buy designer clothes for men, new gadgets, and a branded perfume. I collected branded perfumes before but it was all gifts to me. As well as new branded clothes from a second hand store and gadgets, an old cell phones from cousin. That’s why if you felt that all you ask from our Almighty Father was not given you immediately, consider it that it has a purpose and timing to be yours.

There are some tiny things that we sometimes neglect at home as parents especially with young kids at home. Please have extra precaution in everything at home. Always put your self at the side of your small kids. What are the possible things that can do harm to him and even to you as parents. There are small things like electrical outlets, table edges and slippery mats. Checks your mats first or test it. Don’t consider it as lincoln mkt custom floor mats. Like in our experience, we bought an anti slip mat for the bath room but this mat caused us to slide. Simple things but can really hit you hard sometimes.

Another long weekend is what most of us are really waiting for. We hope for a long break from the usual every day job and school. We hope for a break from the hectic daily routine. I can’t imagine how we have survived the hard start up phase my wife and have survived. I couldn’t even think of those tears we both have shed because of everyday trials we used to encounter. A month from now, we are about to celebrate our eight years and we thank our Almighty Father that although we still have trials, with prayers, we can mange through it all. To all the who people have helped us in any way, hopefully we can thank them with a personalized gift someday.

We love stories about successful people especially people from poor living who gained a better life because of hardship, working hard and perseverance in life. These include people who just sell foods carrying basket to pushing of food carts. More and more people really want to work in the city. Maybe because there will be no available jobs for them in the province where they came. That’s why more and more people living in the city has contributed to its congestion. Like what is happening now in the Metro. You can’t find low cost housing or town houses in the city. All are now in an apartment or condominiums. Imagine a family of five living in a one bedroom place. The use of ceiling tv mounts for their appliances is a big help to conserve more space to be used by the family.

Filipinos love food so much and as a matter of fact, many are using fat burners that work. As what we know the Philippines is composed of many islands with different tribes in origin. Our country also has been with different foreign invaders before. So we have lots of local dishes and delicacies in every province. Foods are inspired by different nationalities around the world from Malaysia, India, Spain, China and America. Many are asking why our law makers can’t file a bill imposing much higher tax to cigarette companies in the country. You can’t blame the people from thinking that maybe millions of money are given away to lobby the filing of this bill. Many believe that if the price of cigarettes will be raised, people will refrain or even stop smoking. Some cigarette producers in other countries already imposed sin tax to cigarette where like montecristo cigars will cost you $163 per pack and $11 almost 50 pesos per stick. I don’t think an ordinary laborer can afford to smoke in this scenario.

Spratly Dispute

It is sad that China seems really pursuing their claims about over the ownership of the Spratly Islands in south China sea and it seems like we are bullied in our own home and we have nothing to do but to cry for help. Like the latest news allegedly about the sending of China’s biggest battle ship to guard the disputed group of island. In response, the Philippines also sent their world record patrol ship. The oldest smallest world war two battle ships are in the area.

The defense department of the Philippines is always expressing the lack of budget to purchase modern equipment at least not for war but to guard our sovereignty and yet the wife and the family of those generals who areq5 allegedly involved in a multi millions of pesos in corruption are there in front of barcode scanner busy shopping using the peoples money.

Computer Files

I really hate it when a computer is lagging. I do reformatting every time my computer lags before but I hate doing it now because aside from the fact that it is time consuming, it is also likely that lots of my files and program are lost. That’s why I don’t save file in my main hard drive any more. I have some extra drive for it so that in worse case scenario that my main hard drive will be affected, at least some of my files are safe. I am planning to have data backup software too to be sure.

Justin Bieber is a phenomenal child singer who just had a concert in the country. But instead of leaving good memories behind, it appears that lots of people got mad, disgusted and insulted the way he showed his attitude towards one of the airport personnel who just wanted his autograph. Although we are not there to really proved that incident, the event really happened can be viewed in youtube.com video but the way we looked at what happened, it really is not appropriate for him to act that way. Although some of his fan defended him because he was not really felling well that time. Even Bieber needed emergency medical assistance that night of his concert.

Luckily for him because it happened after his concert and he was leaving the airport but what if it happened before. Many will remember to what happened to The Beatles when they visited the country before.

I am a fan of a show on cable where a bunch of businessmen bid and buy items that are stocked for a long time and un-attended by the owners in some garage. It was done by the garage owner. Maybe if the person rented the stock room or warehouse failed to pay in a certain month then the stuff would be subject to bidding. Although it is a gamble to those who bid because they are only given five minutes just to see the items inside the warehouse. It is prohibited to thoroughly check it. It is an investment like you are about to buy gold coins where if you were lucky it will not just double or triple your investment but sometimes more than that.
