Drake Moment #1

2014-01-05T01:36:00.004-02:00

Now is the time the rapper Drake. #MOMENT. Let's start:

1986–2005: Early life and acting career

Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, to parents Sandi Graham (née Sher), an educator, and Dennis Graham, a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis. Two of his uncles, Larry Graham and Teenie Hodges, are also musicians. Drake's father is an African-American from Memphis, Tennessee, and Drake's mother is a white Jewish Canadian. He attended a Jewish day school and had a Bar Mitzvah. His parents divorced when he was five years old, and he was raised by his mother in two Toronto neighbourhoods; he lived on Weston Road in the city's west end, until the sixth grade, when he moved to the affluent Forest Hill. As a youth, he played minor hockey with the Weston Red Wings. Drake has commented on the move to Forest Hill and his mother's struggle, saying that "She wanted the best for her family. She found us a half of a house we could live in. The other people had the top half, we had the bottom half. I lived in the basement, my mom lived on the first floor. It was not big, it was not luxurious. It was what we could afford." Drake then began attending Forest Hill Collegiate Institute, where he began acting, but did not graduate. It was the first of two high schools he would attend, as he later went to Vaughan Road Academy, describing it as "not by any means the easiest school to go to. It's a tough school." Despite dropping out of high school, years later, he graduated in October 2012.

At the age of 15, Drake met an agent, the father of a high school friend. The agent found Drake a role on the Canadian TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation as Jimmy Brooks. In the show, Brooks is a basketball star who became physically disabled after he was shot by a classmate. Drake describes how his early acting career affected his family, "My mother was very sick. We were very poor, like broke. The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn't that much money when you break it down. A season of Canadian television is under a teacher's salary, I'll tell you that much. It's definitely not something to go fucking get." He would continue his acting career on Degrassi: The Next Generation until 2009, when his character graduated from Degrassi. Overall, he appeared in a total of 138 episodes. Drake is mentioned in the 2010 television movie Degrassi Takes Manhattan, making him one of two Degrassi actors (along with Shenae Grimes) who exist within the series' fictional universe independently of their characters. Besides Degrassi, between 2001-2009 Drake appeared on other various Television shows in smaller roles such as, Blue Murder as Joey Tamarin, Soul Food as Fredrick, The Border as PFC Gordon Harvey, and Beyond the Break as himself.

Looking back on his early life, Drake had to essentially live two different lives because of his parents' divorce; he lived in a very upper-class part of Toronto, and, when in Memphis, was told he was "the furthest thing from hood." He witnessed many life-changing experiences because of this, one being his father's arrest, which he describes by saying "The fact that I didn't have a father, because he was in jail two separate times. He did a two-year bid and a three-year bid, I was there when he got taken down. We had just gotten back from Memphis." However, Drake comments on his childhood experiences by saying "I've seen things that didn't make me happy. They were character building. That's why I think people in the hood can still connect with what I'm saying even though I'm not saying 'yeah I got crack in my pocket' 'cause that wasn't my struggle necessarily, [but] I speak from a place that's just human emotion." Drake stated that his parents' divorce greatly affected him as a person, saying, "I had to become a man very quickly and be the backbone for a woman who I love with all my heart, my mother." At the age of 24, Drake commented on his early life by saying "I've seen a lot, man. I've seen a lot of life, put it that way. I've been with the most blessed kids in the world. I've been with people whose life is right at the bottom of the barrel. I was on a TV show, I went to art school, I went to hood schools. I've lived. I've lived a full 24 years, man."

Around this time, Drake was dating fellow Canadian R&B singer Keshia Chanté.

Ciara Moment #1

2014-01-05T01:22:00.000-02:00

As we did earlier with Beyoncé, now let's start to another #MOMENT, and singer of time is then titled, Queen of R & B, Ciara. Let's start:

Early life

Ciara was born in Austin, Texas on October 25, 1985, as the only child of Jackie and Carlton Harris. Since her father was in the United States Army, throughout her childhood, Ciara grew up on army bases in Germany, New York, Utah, California, Arizona, and Nevada. In speaking of this, Ciara states that while she hated to lose good friends, this helps her in her career when she has to travel all over the world. During her teens, Ciara and her family moved to Atlanta.

In her mid-teens, Ciara formed the all girl group Hearsay with two of her friends. The group recorded demos, but as time went on, they began to have differences and eventually parted ways. Despite this setback, Ciara was still determined to reach her goal and signed a publishing deal as a songwriter. Her first success was the song, "Got Me Waiting" for R&B singer Fantasia Barrino's debut album, Free Yourself. It was when she was writing songs that she met music producer, Jazze Pha, whom she called her "music soulmate." In 2002, the two recorded four demos, "1, 2 Step," "Thug Style," "Pick Up the Phone," and "Lookin' at You," which all appeared on her debut album, which was released two years later. "1, 2 Step" was the second single released from it and became a hit.

2003–05: Goodies

After graduating from Riverdale High School in Riverdale, Georgia in 2003, she was signed by LaFace Records executive, L.A. Reid, whom she was introduced to by Jazze Pha. She began production on her debut album later that year. In early 2004, Ciara wrote a demo with record producer, Sean Garrett. The demo was later brought to the attention of Lil Jon and became her debut single "Goodies." Lil Jon stated later that he knew it would be big seeing how it sounded similar to Usher's international hit, "Yeah!."

Ciara released her debut album Goodies on September 28, 2004. The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200, selling 124,750 copies in its initial week and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Following the release of the album, Ciara was hailed as the "First Lady of Crunk&B". Goodies had a seventy-one week run on the Billboard 200, and was certified three times-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on October 10, 2006.The album has sold around nearly 3 million copies in the United States as of June 2010. Charting at twenty-two on the Canadian Albums Chart, it was certified Platinum by the Canadian Recording Industry Association. The album charted at twenty-six on the UK Albums Chart, and spent twenty weeks on the chart. It was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry, remaining to be Ciara's sole certified album in the UK.

Goodies' lead single, the title track, featuring Petey Pablo, was released on June 8, 2004. Conceived as a crunk female counterpart to Usher's "Yeah!", the lyrical content goes against the grain, speaking of abstinence, rejecting advances because "the goodies will stay in the jar." Critics hailed it as an "anthem of the summer" and one of the best singles of the year, complementing its dance-feel and beat, and the irony of the "clever" lyrics. The single performed well worldwide, topping the charts in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, and charting in the top ten of other charts, receiving Platinum certification in the United States. "1, 2 Step" featuring Missy Elliott was released as the album's second single. The song peaked in the top ten of many countries, topping the charts in Canada, and went on to become Platinum or Gold in many countries."Oh" featuring Ludacris was released as the third single on March 5, 2005. The song performed well worldwide, appearing in the top ten of seven charts, and certified either Platinum or Gold in multiple regions.

Following the success of the album, Ciara released a CD/DVD entitled Goodies: The Videos & More in the United States on July 12, 2005 which featured remixes to "1, 2 Step" and "Oh", as well as two new songs. The release was certified platinum in the United States. She made guest appearances on Missy Elliott's single "Lose Control" and on Bow Wow's single "Like You", which both peaked at number three in the United States and obtained worldwide success. She was an opening act for Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Tour 2005 and went on tour with Chris Brown and Bow Wow on the Holiday Jam Tour in December 2005. At the 48th Grammy Awards, Ciara received four nominations for Best New Artist, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "1, 2 Step", Best Rap Song for Missy Elliott's single "Lose Control", and won her last nomination, Best Short Form Music Video for Lose Control.

Queen B Moment #1

2014-01-05T00:59:00.001-02:00

Today I start a retrospective of the life of singer Beyoncé, of course it will not be possible to place all of her videos, but I will point out the most striking and left in memory. Let's start:

Early life: Knowles was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Mathew Knowles, a Xerox sales manager, and Tina Knowles (née Beyincé), a hairdresser and salon owner. Her father is African American, and her mother, a Louisiana Creole, has African, French, and Native American ancestry. Through her mother, Beyoncé is a descendant of Acadian leader Joseph Broussard Beyoncé's name is a tribute to her mother's maiden name. She is the elder sister of Solange Knowles, also a singer-songwriter and actress. Knowles was educated at St. Mary's Elementary School in Fredericksburg, Texas, where she enrolled in dance classes. Her singing talent was discovered when dance instructor Darlette Johnson began humming a song and she finished it, hitting the high-pitched notes. Knowles' interest in music and performing continued after winning a school talent show aged seven, singing John Lennon's "Imagine" to beat 15 and 16-year-olds. In fall of 1990, Knowles enrolled in Parker Elementary School, a music magnet school in Houston, where she would perform with the school's choir. She also attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and later Alief Elsik High School.Knowles was also a member of the choir at St. John's United Methodist Church as asoloist for two years. Aged eight, Knowles and childhood friend Kelly Rowland met LaTavia Roberson while in an audition for an all-girl entertainment group. They were placed into a group with three other girls as Girl's Tyme, and rapped and danced on the talent show circuit in Houston. After seeing the group, R&B producer Arne Frager brought them to his Northern California studio and placed them inStar Search, the largest talent show on national TV at the time. Girl's Tyme failed to win, with Knowles later saying the song they performed was not good. In 1995 Knowles' father resigned from his job to manage the group. The move reduced Knowles' family's income by half, and her parents were forced to move into separated apartments. Mathew cut the original line-up to four and the group continued performing as an opening act for other established R&B girl groups. The girls auditioned before record labels and were finally signed to Elektra Records, moving to Atlanta Records briefly to work on their first recording, only to be cut by the company. This put further strain on the family, and Knowles' parents separated. On October 5, 1995, Dwayne Wiggins's Grass Roots Entertainment signed the group. In 1996, the girls began recording their debut album under an agreement with Sony Music, the Knowles family reunited, and shortly after, the group got a contract with Columbia Records.

1997–2001: Destiny's Child

The group changed their name to Destiny's Child in 1993, based on a passage in the Book of Isaiah. In 1997, Destiny's Child released their major label debut song "Killing Time" on the soundtrack to the 1997 film, Men in Black. The following year, the group released their self-titled debut album, scoring their first major hit "No, No, No". The album established the group as a viable act in the music industry, with moderate sales and winning the group three Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards for Best R&B/Soul Album of the Year, Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist, and Best R&B/Soul Single for "No, No, No". The group released their multi-platinum second album The Writing's on the Wall in 1999. The record features some of the group's most widely known songs such as "Bills, Bills, Bills," the group's first number-one single, "Jumpin' Jumpin'" and "Say My Name", which became their most successful song at the time, and would remain one of their signature songs. "Say My Name" won the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and the Best R&B Song at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. The Writing's on the Wall sold more than eight million copies worldwide. During this time, Knowles recorded a duet with Marc Nelson, an original member of Boyz II Men, on the song "After All Is Said and Done" for the soundtrack to the 1999 film, The Best Man.

LeToya Luckett and Roberson became unhappy with Mathew's managing of the band and eventually were replaced by Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams. Knowles experienced depression following the split with Luckett and Roberson after being publicly blamed by the media, critics, and blogs for its cause. Her long-standing boyfriend left her at this time. The depression was so severe it lasted for a couple of years, during which she occasionally kept herself in her bedroom for days and refused to eat anything.Knowles stated that she struggled to speak about her depression because Destiny's Child had just won their first Grammy Award and she feared no one would take her seriously. Knowles would later speak of her mother as the person who helped her fight it.Franklin was dismissed, leaving just Knowles, Rowland, and Williams.

The remaining band members recorded "Independent Women Part I", which appeared on the soundtrack to the 2000 film, Charlie's Angels. It became their best-charting single, topping the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for eleven consecutive weeks. In early 2001, while Destiny's Child was completing their third album, Knowles landed a major role in the MTV made-for-television film, Carmen: A Hip Hopera, starring alongside American actor Mekhi Phifer. Set in Philadelphia, the film is a modern interpretation of the 19th century opera Carmen by French composer Georges Bizet. When the third album Survivor was released in May 2001, Luckett and Roberson filed a lawsuit claiming that the songs were aimed at them. The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 663,000 copies sold. The album spawned other number-one hits, "Bootylicious" and the title track, "Survivor", the latter of which earned the group a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. After releasing their holiday album 8 Days of Christmas in October 2001, the group announced a hiatus to further pursue solo careers.

Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Rihanna & Miguel Sizzle On ‘Top R&B / Hip Hop Artists’ Year-End Chart

2014-01-05T00:34:00.005-02:00

While Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke sit atop R&B’s throne with a smash hit or two pulled in the last year, Billboard’s ‘Top R&B / Hip Hop Artists’ Year-End chart goes a long way to celebrate the achievements made by a number of their competitors.

Who, you ask?

Think Nicki Minaj, think Rihanna, think Ciara and the Grammy winning singer/songwriter that is Miguel, all of whom make commendable appearances on the list.

Billboard explains:

“Ranking is based on an artist’s chart performance on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (which includes airplay, sales, and streaming data) and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, as well as Box score touring revenue, Social 50 chart activity and ringtone sales.”

New Video: Ciara – ‘I’m Out (Ft Nicki Minaj)’

2013-06-30T21:42:00.002-03:00

It’s the video we’ve all been waiting for….and now it’s finally here!

That’s right, tonight saw Ciara unveil the mind blowing visual for her single ‘I’m Out‘ at the 2013 BET Awards, alongside Nicki Minaj.

You’d think we were exaggerating if we told you this is the best visual Minaj has appeared in to date, and the strongest to come for Ciara‘s ‘Ciara‘ era….so we’ll let you decide that for yourselves below!

Not since the early Noughties have two Urban female acts served a video that screams ‘MTV‘ as loud as this one does.

Indeed, while many a recent Hip Hop/R&B video struggles to hold a light to clips spawned by the likes of GaGa and Rihanna, ‘I’m Out’s visual is the standard all videos should aim towards…packing moments we’re gonna come out and say are timeless (freeze at the 2minute 18 mark).

More than anything, it marks another stand out video from Ciara- who’s never been a stranger to serving videos Janet herself would consider noteworthy, and with all this mind, we can’t wait to see how the clip will aid its supporting album come July 9th!

Preview: Ciara – ‘I’m Out (ft. Nicki Minaj)’ Video HD

2013-06-25T22:17:00.002-03:00

Ciara is playing approximately no games with her self-titled project (due July 9th).

Neef proof? Look no further than this freshly released teaser for her latest music video, ‘I’m Out’. As reported, the Nicki Minaj assisted cut will see its accompanying visual unwrapped in full at this Sunday’s BET Awards.

Pending then, the ‘Super Turnt Up’ singer stopped by Access Hollywood to tease the clip. What are you waiting for? Check it out after the jump…

Yes! Looks like a winner. Do you agree?

Super Bowl 2014: Officials say halftime show will go on at MetLife Stadium

2013-06-13T02:59:00.001-03:00

Everything about next year’s cold-weather Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium on Feb. 2 will be different, NFL officials say, except for the game’s glitzy halftime show.

The show will go on, said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, despite a report published earlier this week that said it might be broadcast from another location because the cold and potential snow or rain would make an on-field show impossible.

“We will have pregame and halftime festivities in the stadium,” McCarthy said. “It will be a different Super Bowl in everything we do. We have a plan, and in fact, we are much farther ahead” than in years past.

“We know weather could be a factor and we’re already far ahead in terms of concept,” he said.

But ask for details about the act (Bruce? Bon Jovi?) or theme (Broadway?) and McCarthy is mum.

“We don’t talk about the details until much closer” to the date, he said.

The Super Bowl halftime show is an elaborate event that is carefully choreographed in terms of setup, performance and breakdown. While the 30-minute Super Bowl halftime is longer than in regular season games, it is still a tight window. The stage must be set up at midfield and then removed after the 17-minute performance. And that process could be complicated by cold temperatures or, worse, snow or freezing rain.

In addition, performers find it more difficult to sing and some instruments refuse to stay in tune in the cold.

Regular season and playoff games don’t feature extended halftime performances, but other cold-weather outdoor stadiums have hosted halftime ceremonies — honoring retiring players or broadcasters, for example — in the last, cold weeks of the season.
The New England Patriots hosted several halftime ceremonies during late-season games, spokesman Stacey James said.

“We haven’t had one where weather has forced us to change anything,” he said.
Football and entertainment officials acknowledge Super Bowl halftime has no equal, but it can be done in winter conditions.

“What you have to do in the cold is add a heat element,” said concert promoter John Scher. He produced the Super Bowl party at Giants Stadium in 1987, following the Giants victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXI, Organizers pumped hot air through holes in the stage to keep the performers warm, he said.

“I know the halftime show is a really big deal,” he said. “But they’ll figure it out.”

Jennifer Lopez Says Latinos 'Realizing' Their Power

2013-06-13T02:35:00.002-03:00

Jennifer Lopez says Latinos in the United States are starting to realize their power in politics and media, making the timing good for her latest undertaking: lobbying for greater diversity in TV programming.

The entertainer spoke Wednesday at the Cable Show, a communications convention, ahead of new programming set to launch July 18 on the NUVOtv network. Lopez serves as chief creative officer of the English-language Latino channel.

"It's an extension of who I am as an artist," she said about her new role in an interview with The Associated Press. "As I grow in this business — I've been in the business close to 20 years now — that creative spark that you have doesn't go away. It keeps growing almost."

Lopez said that working behind the scenes is just as rewarding as performing, if not more.

"Singing and acting and dancing and performing live, it's always going to be my passion," she said. "But at the end of the day, when you're given the opportunities to be more creative, to create things more from the ground up, to really, really do things like NUVO, which is really for me empowering a community, that means so much to me."

The actress-singer-dancer said these are exciting times across the board for Latinos.

"There's a big revolution going on, it's like a media and cultural revolution of Latinos here in the United States," she said. "We're realizing our power. We're realizing that we matter here. You know, we're not just, you know, the guys working behind the scenes in the kitchens and as a plumber."

Lopez was meeting later Wednesday with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the National Council of La Raza and Sens. Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Bob Menendez, D-N.J.

She said businesses are getting on board too because of the tremendous buying power of Latinos, which is why she is also the creative chief officer of the Viva Movil brand for Verizon. The entertainer is opening a chain of 15 cell phone stores with bilingual staffers starting this month to cater to the Hispanic market.

While Lopez, 43, continues to undertake creative ventures, she said she will never stop performing.

"It's a new day when it comes to women," she said.

"The world is realizing that women are not even coming into their own until they're in their 40s, that they have so much to offer. That you can stay in shape, that your life is not over once you have kids and it becomes only about your kids, that to be a great mother, or great parent or great woman in this world you have to be a great individual first, you know what I mean, and that's very empowering and we're all realizing this," she said.

Lopez said many major actresses in Hollywood are in their 40s and in the prime of the careers including Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Halle Berry.

"It's a new day for women, it's a new day for Latinos, it's a new day," she said.

Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Album Could Sell a Half-Million in First Week

2013-06-13T02:30:00.002-03:00

While Kanye West's new album "Yeezus" hasn't been released yet, sales forecasters in the music industry are buzzing about how much the set could sell in its first week.

Those in the know suggest the album, due out June 18, may sell 500,000 copies in its first week. Readers might wonder: How do said forecasters come up with a projected sales figure -- when the album isn't even on sale yet?

Basically, these skilled sources make it their business to crunch numbers all day long. Sales forecasts, such as this one for "Yeezus," are based on early orders from retailers, first-week performance of comparable albums, media exposure, radio and YouTube trends for an album's first single, and so forth. These sources each have their own forecast model, so to speak, that helps generate sales projections.

Sometimes, depending on how far out we are from an album's release, a forecast can be wildly different from the final outcome. In general, you can best guess an album's debut sales week once it's actually on sale.

For example, on March 11, sources told Billboard that Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" (not due out until March 19), might sell 500,000 in its debut week. Ultimately, that figure got much bigger, as the album performed stronger than anticipated. It finished with a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 968,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Last month, on May 17, forecasters projected that Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories" -- due out four days later -- could sell between 250,000 and 300,000 in its first week. The album sold even better -- moving 339,000 in its debut frame.

West's last album was a collaborative effort with Jay-Z, "Watch the Throne." That set debuted at No. 1 in 2011 with 436,000 copies sold in its first week -- mostly from sales driven by an exclusive early deal with the iTunes Store. (The set was available exclusively through iTunes for its first four days of release, and then went wide to all digital and physical retailers after that.)

West's last solo studio album, 2010's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," arrived during Thanksgiving week of that year, and debuted at No. 1 with 496,000 sold.

Unlike both of those albums, West's new "Yeezus" wasn't preceded by a single aimed towards radio airplay. Shockingly, "Yeezus" has yet to leak (as of June 12). In comparison, another album due out the same day as "Yeezus," J. Cole's "Born Sinner," leaked to the Web on June 7. Cole quickly posted a stream of the album to his web site, along with a prompt to urge fans to pre-order the album via iTunes

The Final Numbers Are In: Justin Timberlake’s ’20/20 Experience’ Sold…

2013-03-27T17:00:00.002-03:00

Ample hype has seen Justin Timberlake‘s star glow even brighter in recent weeks.

Indeed, a stellar promotional campaign was installed to mobilize ‘The 20/20 Experience’ – his first album in seven years.

Naturally, then, all eyes are on what numbers the ‘Suit & Tie’ led set was able to shift in its premiere week. Well, wonder no more. The final figures are in. Was Justin able to sustain his incredible momentum? The answer awaits below…

According to Billboard, JT’s ‘Experience’ is confirmed to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 this weeks with sales of….

968,000

********

It’s official: ‘The 20/20 Experience’ is a chart blockbuster.

Incredible by most counts, the album’s sales are especially impressive when considering that the LP isn’t being mobilized by obvious radio hits.

It of course goes without saying that the project’s performance will spark debate about just how much of the numbers are due to marketing hype vs organic interest. Yet, such argument -as insightful as it is- will be somewhat inconsequential. Because, whichever way it’s diced or sliced, Justin is slaying – and in a major way.

Echoing earlier sentiments, it will be super interesting to see what this means for his competition (see: Usher, Chris Brown, and the like). It also makes one wonder if JT will be able to sustain interest for the album’s upcoming sequel. For now, though, we can’t but congratulate JT and his PR team for a job well done.

New Song: Little Mix – ‘How Ya Doin’? (ft. Missy Elliott)’

2013-03-27T16:59:00.004-03:00

Fresh from announcing their new collaboration with Missy Elliott, ‘How Ya Doin’?', Brit Pop stars Little Mix have unveiled the track itself.

Premiered on Capital FM this morning, the Missy-assisted version of the song (which didn’t feature on their chart-topping debut ‘DNA’) will serve the latest single to be lifted from the project – which to-date has spawned two #1′s.

Take a listen to the track, which samples De La Soul’s ‘Ring Ring Ring’ and will feature on the US version of the ladies album, after the jump…

Via DS:

Though not “bad”, it figures that the track is receiving the “fourth single” treatment in the UK, and likely only a buzz cut for the group’s American push (‘Wings’ remains their official US single debut).

Still a solid effort; Missy, as ever, sounds great.

Keri Hilson Readies New Single For Next Week / Enlists Timbaland And Mike Will Made It For Production

2013-03-27T16:57:00.002-03:00

While some may choose to deny it, Keri Hilson really is R&B’s go to girl when it comes to churning out commercial hits.
Indeed, while combined sales of her LPs say little of her skill and talent, their first week digits and supporting singles make her one of the only ‘new girls’ from the genre to enjoy Platinum status, with ‘Turnin’ Me On’ and ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ selling over 1 million units and ‘Knock You Down‘ surpassing the 2 million mark.
Now, in what should see her nab a few more Urban hits, she readies the launch of her third studio album with a single ready to launch in the next week.
All the details below…

Yes!

Let’s face it- when it comes to producing infectious jams that are authentically Urban Pop Keri never disappoints.

Our only hope is that more effort is made to push her as live act and promote the project as a whole, as to ensure her digits on the Billboard 200 are just as noteworthy as her singles stats.

Confira as fotos:

A lista inclui Rodney Jerkins, The Underdogs, Rock City, Tricy Stewart, além do Rick Ross e da Nicki Minaj.
