Diablo 3 fans come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Gamers of all age-groups find Diablo 3 a fantastic game to play. It is rare that a game is such a hit and continues to draw in new fans by the day.

The main reason for Diablo 3 being a hit is its combination of design, art, music, and difficulty. Diablo 3 also adds new twists to the previous editions of the game that have wowed millions across the planet.

The Diablo 3 visuals have become bolder and brighter giving gamers a more intense experience of prowling the dark and dangerous dungeons to beat the Armies of Evil. Special effects along with special music composed particularly for the game further heighten the intense experience of saving Sanctuary from the dark forces.

You can truly enjoy Diablo 3 with a nice system. The Internet speed is crucial for using the player-versus-player mode. Net lag would destroy the fun of the game. You can set up basic hardware including an operating system like Windows Vista or Windows 7. You can also play it on Mac. A processor like Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz with 2GB Ram is quite necessary. Of course the graphics card (DirectX 10 or 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce 8800 or ATI Radeon 3870) with a sound card (DirectX compatible sound card) would be essential. A Hard Drive 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version would be fine.

Of course each gamer has his individual comfort-level with a particular system. It's like having your own golf club or tennis racquet. Some configurations work great for some gamers but might affect the skills of others. Eventually, each individual gamer has to decide what would lead him to dominator system. However, a basic hardware configuration would ensure that a player at least gets a full experience of the music and artwork that has been created especially for the Diablo 3 edition. With time, you can improve your system to see if your skill level goes up. Some players might perform better with an enhanced sound card while others would prefer a screen of higher resolution. Just go for the system that brings out the best in you.

Aion Online Beshmundir Temple Guide

I could not find any English guide, so here's what we found out and bits from other multi language guides. I've skipped the bs and just put down the need-to-know stuffs Understand this, 1st time we did this we had no guide and was a nightmare, no we know how to do everything and where to go, this instance can be done in just over an hour or so if you go the fast route.

(elyos version re quests and so on)

Disclaimer:
I will keep updating the guide as I get time, please bare in mind I wrote this originally as a basic guide, NOT an OFFICIAL walk through. I am not paid or employed by NCSoft nor do I claim to know everything about BT. I have written this to help not to guide.

Pre Quest= Campaign
QuestChains: Advance Stigma quest obtained from Outremus and Rudra Pre Quest

Any doors you see which you cannot open, it is because you do not have the prequest or you are not far enough through the campaign, stigma, or stormwing quest chains.

STIGMA CHAIN:
Boss 10 is needed kill bosses 1,7,9 to get there and kill the 4 protectors in the rooms around.
Boss 11 is in Alter of Souls and needed a little later
After this you will need to kill bosses 2 and 5

-To get Abhara the Wicked to spawn you need to kill a random number of monuments

MONUMENTS are the GREEN DOTS on the MAP

NOTE: the Stigma quest splits into two parts after the first 10 or so quests. 1 part for Advanced Stigma, the other to get to StormWing.

STORMWING PREQUEST:

Eventually you will need to kill the wonderful Shadowshift boss to get the rod to use on the rift orb after partying with the marvelous Isbariya (10).

So, let me first describe to you the main difference between Safe and Difficult mode: Safe: less mobs, less moves. Difficult: double the mobs pretty much and bosses with either new moves or well, you'll see as I describe later

Oh and one phrase before you enter you should know: YOU WILL DIE - at some point <3 This isn't DP!

First thing:
ESSENTIALS FOR Beshmundir Temple:
Safe Mode:

-Res Stones (Everyone) both stones to res others and self res stones.
-Mana pots - Lots of.
-Health pots
-Abyss pots
-Good communication

Hard Mode:
-Tank
-Chanter
-Res Stones (as above)
-Health, Mana pots and obviously Abyssal ones too

Gladiators so it seems cannot tank some of these bosses, too much damage.

Bosses who drop gear / Gear Run: *1-3-6-7-8-14-9-10-15
StormWing/Rudra Gear bosses known to drop:
FlameStorm: Shields (boss 14)
Isbariya: Legs (boss 10)
Dorakiki: Pauldrons (boss 8)
Abhara: Boots (boss 6)
Maccubello: Gloves (boss 3)
Chest Piece: have a guess >.<
Stormwing run: Kill bosses: 1-7-9-10-15 *<< THIS IS ALSO THE BEST RUN TO FINISH THE CAMPAIGN>>

Upon Entering you will zig zag two passages of mobs before finding a room with a boss in the middle. Clear the room of mobs before engaging the boss.

IMPORTANT ADVICE: IF you are doing this late and you're worried about being tired, do bosses 1,7,10 first because these (7 and 10) are the most tiresome on hardmode. Remember you can go back and kill the others afterwards. Killing Isbariya when you are tired is not a good idea ;)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st Boss: Captain Lakhare

Requires solid healing
Debuffs - which cannot be dispelled
Aoe Submissive - followed by 3-4 more aoe's - just stay away abit
25% = one shot on one person (tank)
There is a move called, CERTAIN DOOM which is massive damage and is what it states. One team mate will die unless the pop cooldowns or resist or evade.

The skill does physical dmg if the tank has full dp he should use nazekan shield, it blocks the attack. (shinji)

All in all, a pretty easy boss just heavily reliant on heals more than anything else.

HARD MODE: Boss will do a pull as well as a lot more damage compared to Easy Mode. Very heavy heals needed.
The chanter must heal too, forget dpsing, since the tank takes a lot more damage than on easy mode.

Raises arms be out of range for 2 - 3 aoe's and then back to boss. Templar try to avoid his pull or you will be taking too much damage.
Doing hard mode without a chanter? Good luck ^^
When Lakhare raises his hands in air, Tank get hit once and then move out of range of the next aoe's then run back in. Saves your healers a lot of mana.

After this boss you will proceed toward your next chosen detination - see the above maps with the numbers corresponding to the bosses below.

Boss needed for campaign quest: 10 - Isbariya. To get there kill boss 1, 7, and 9
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd Boss: Manadar

Healers and dps from MAX range because this boss sometimes does a aoe knockback followed by a big attack on the tank.
Tank must use remove shock immediatly.

AOE on the traps near the healers, ranged dps and healers stay together. Make sure you kill traps near healers.
Hard Mode: Shock and Stumble traps...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd Boss: *Macunbello the Dark Sorcerer

4 minutes to get to this boss via the boats. You should kill everything on this island as fast as you can because if you don't everything will transfer to the next island. When you kill the elite, a boat man will spawn and you go to the next island. This happens 3 times.
The more adds you kill on the island, the easier the boss becomes.

Then kill Macunbello and boss will spawn.
Fast fight, just watch aoe's.

Cleric use Winter Circle.

HARD MODE:
USE Line Of Sight for the AOE with the pillar. One player kill adds that spawn on the door side, and later when / if adds spawn on side with pillars, get another to kill those. In short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS the AOE with LOS on the pillars, and kill adds.

To be honest, I've never bothered to kill all 3 islands, we've had time, for sure, but just bothered to kill the first 2 islands (hard mode) and left the 3rd island to save time and mana.
Having left the last island, killed the elite and the boss elite and moving to the boss, it's never really been a problem. So if you are short on time or just lazy like me :P leaving the last island isn't such a big problem.

This boss is a piece of cake if you kill the islands ;) if you kill islands his aoe does less than 4k dmg, if you dont, his aoe's do 8k If you don't kill the islands get a ranged dps to tank :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4th Boss:The Plaguebearer

Need ranged DPS for this boss. 360 aoe, debuffs which cannot be dispelled.

Pretty easy boss.
HARD MODE EXPLAINED:
This boss with do 2 or so different AOE's. Whoever is tanking the boss when the boss aoe's needs to move away from the grp. Adds around the cleric need to be killed as priority and keeping Clothies alive for max dps.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5th Boss: Vehala Curse

AOE Stun which can be avoided by running out of range, tank in corner to make this easier. DPS STOP DPS WHEN TANK IS STUNNED OR RANDOM AGGRO WILL OCCUR.

However when you recieve the quest for him he is a ghost mob and will initiate fear from 100% to 75% then powerful strike and at 25% does 2x powerful strike which becomes heavy on heals needed.

This boss is needed for advanced stigma quests later in the chain

HM he'll also do a fear and in 2.1 this seems to be more frequent - if not, I am blaming Freedom :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6th Boss: Ahbana the Wicked

This boss only appears after having killed a random number of monuments, these monuments are found in the rooms before Plaguebearer and Manadar.
Debuffs the team every 5-10 seconds for a while. This debuff cannot be dispelled and stops heals.
Make sure the team is full health before this debuff happens. Cleric can use healing wind inbetween debuffs with shield if needed / splender of recovery.
Easy boss, just Cleric needs to time heals correctly.

HARD MODE:
Similar to Easy, just more damage taken, Clerics and chanters healing tanks and group, time your heals towards the end of the debuff since the time between debuffs in hard mode is LESS you need to be faster.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7th Boss: The Great Virhana

In the room there are statues. Some are monuments some are statues and the rest - assassins, gladiators and so on will aggro. Statues and monuments will not aggro, only the other types.

You can run down one side and only aggro one side or if you need DP you can aggro both sides.

Requirements essential: RES STONES

Boss fight: Now here is the fun part!!!YOU WILL DIE
4000-6000 dmgs -> 30k dmgs
Tip: DPS stand NEXT to boss if you dont you die.
* * *DPS FAST to 50%, becomes a dps race, the faster you kill, the less people die.

Also, will CURSE A RANDOM TEAM MEMBER, team member will INSTANT DIE (unconditional Death) Clerics do NOT waste FLASH on curse member you cannot heal the damage as it is ONE SHOT.
This fight: race dps to 50% then res each person as they die and use res stones when you can whilst dpsing.

Make sure cleric is aware of who is about to be instant pwnd :) so no good heals are wasted.

EASY WAY TO DO BOSS: ULTRA DPS THIS BOSS BEFORE IT EVEN GETS CHANCE TO CURSE! :) We killed it from 100% to 0% before it even did a curse on safe mode. ^_^

HARD MODE: Make sure you have self res stones and res stones for other members - THIS IS A MUST.

MAX DPS to 50% as fast as you can. Use dp, use wow, use scrolls, use food. Just get this boss to 50% before he starts the curses.

Boss will curse 3 people to the easy modes one (or there about). So imagine the fun you will have ;)
DPS from close range or you hit a reflect type mode and will die.

Make sure tanks (gladiators, assasssins, templars) and obviously healers are res'd as priority incase Cleric needs to do a group res at any point when 4 people might be dead.
If this situation does occur, where 4/6 of the group are dead, Cleric use Prayer of Focus, Sage's Wisdon and then Fast Cast Loci. As soon as the members get it, res, avoid the aoe, and cleric group heal.

CHEEKY TIP: If Cleric dies and group is low health, when the cleric resurrects, they can spam a group heal (especially ripple of purification) which will have no cast time and heal the group. ;)

Hard mode this boss is tiring, try to let the chanter res most so that dps can concentrate on killing the boss. The boss will follow a similar pattern (mostly the following), curse, curse, curse, AOE. Sometimes 2 curses to AOE, so watch the boss, and try not to res into the AOE.

However, if you take too long to kill this boss with slow dps, and manage to survive all the curses, he will eventually put reflect shield up again and then you have the count down to the curses again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8th Boss: Bold Dorakiki

Kill Fillit (or w/e his name is), Kite Chopper, DPS BOSS.

Boss does debuffs on tank - which, what a surprise, cannot be dispelled. The debuffs slow the tank to 3.3 attack speed ! :D

ONE thing: DO NOT LET DPS or HEALERS GET AGGRO only tanks.

HARDMODE:
Best way:
CC the Sorcerer throughout the fight. (this is the extra mob you see with this boss on Hard Mode.)
Chopper as in Easy mode - kite around away from group.

Don't think our ranger has ever witnessed this fight properly :D

2.1 UPDATE: STAY INSIDE THE BRICK BOUNDARY.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9th Boss: Legendary Warrior Taros / Taros Lifebane

Frontal dmg, tank and spank :)
Tip: DPS stand NEXT to boss if you dont you die.

Save Cd's for 50% when he is enraged. IF you have sm, sm can dispel his buff:)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10th Boss: Isbariya the Resolute
2nd only to Stormwing. 4 phases to this boss
a
Arcane Confussion: RED
Seething Explosion: BLUE

TIP: Strafe to and from artifacts, whilst you don't NEED to all hit the artifacts, it depends how good your team work is, waiting an extra 50ms for whole group to be in range before activating artifacts is the best way IF you can manage it ;)
Also, Make sure you move as a unit to the artifacts, if you are not there as a group, people will miss the buff for protection against the aoes. Make sure you are in range of the artifact even if you aren't hitting it.

PHASE1: These two attacks, when you see them, attack the corresponding cube. IF you don't you will either get one shotted or have 3 pixels of health left :)

EVERYONE MUST BE IN RANGE WHEN ARTIFACT IS HIT EVEN CLERIC - I bound auto attack and so forth just incase.
NOTE: MUST BE in RANGE

PHASE 2: Spirits. Boss will phantom 1 or 2 members of the team. These members must auto attack the souls before the get to boss: essentially - tab - hit - tab - hit. Even cleric if cleric gets transformed.

PHASE 3:BLUE ORBS - kite around or suffer ALOT of damage. Will random aggro one member of the team, and changes aggro during the phase.

Phase 4: DPS - Healing adds: MUST KILL ASAP or they will DRAIN MANA and HP Try to avoid using mana pots when the servants are alive or mana will become a BIG problem in the rest of this phase.

HARD MODE:
This is one of the Hardest.
Work through the phases as usual BUT let tank DPS and build aggrro for 10-15%, you'll see why in abit.

PHASE 1 WILL HAPPEN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FIGHT.
At 75% or so, you and your team will be dealing with PHASE 1 & PHASE 2 at the same time. Have one person call out which cube to attack so the phantoms know when to move to cubes.

At 50% for a few moments you will have 1, and 3 phases, but possibly phase 2 for a little but will finish gradually then you are left with Phantom grouped members and Blue orbs. Kite them to 30% up top of stairs.

Next, the hard part:

50% as usual kite adds until they change, get artifact buff straight away - no waiting and move (esp Cleric)
30% EVERYONE except melee's move down to the BOTTOM of the STAIRS. Cleric be ready to dispell your melee from fear.
from 27% - 0% you will be doing the following:

Ranged DPS on boss, use pots re mana drain.
Sorry DPS but Cleric is going to be the only killing the HEALING SERVANT (since there is only one) to REMOVE THE MANA DRAIN buff IF they have the debuff, if cleric doesn't have debuff then the chanter kills it. You can kill it with ranged attacks.
The debuff (re dpsers who have the debuff) will drain 7k MP and if yoiu don't have 7k MP it will then drain HP.
After the first fear, EVERYONE is at the bottom of the stairs, using bows or whatever else to dps the boss down with ranged attacks. Cleric can use Salvation for mana is the servants are bugged in the stairs.

So basically its, fast up to artifacts for buffs and then IMMEDIATELY back down the stairs since fear follows the aoe.

Really easy if you do it this way, and doesn't take too long if you have a good ranged dps.

Worst part of this boss on hard mode = 50% to 25%.
ENJOY :D

P.O.A: I have been informed from Tatari that this boss actually did fear more than once... not too sure if this is a bug or not, BUT I have never seen this. As he stated and as I propose, 25% becomes a dps race to kill him before he does another fear.

HARDMODE VID: This is in 3 parts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11th Boss(Hidden) The Soulcaller - Utra
Drops no loot and is needed for a Quest for greater stigma

He has a 200% reflect Shield, whoever is not paying attention will die.
Earth Retribution = one shot - interrupt it or silence him.
Punishment = reflect.
Speaking of reflect shield: you can take it (SM) and of course, silence can also be interrupted with (Ranger, Sorcerer).
This boss is easy. Your godstones (esp silence) will proc on him alot.
Cleric be ready to dispel melees from tree and so on.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12th Boss (Hidden) Loyal Sulragan/ ShadowShift

Appears only after 11th killed < i.e you recieve the next part in the chain to proceed through the forgotten store room - Which is located on the way to kill Virhana on the right hand side before the room with the boss and the statues< Part of the quest chain to get to StormWing.

This boss is a pain. He does massive damage from the little adds he spawns. When I say massive, I'm talking 4k damage every 2 seconds.... if you have a melee tank it;)

Tank this boss on the top stair with a RANGED DPS ONLY ATTACKING THE BOSS

Tanks and melee attack any orbs than come towards the ranged dps who is tanking the boss. Sorc or ranger should stand in front of the entrance and ranged dps the boss.

This is a slow fight and don't worry if the boss heals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13th Boss:13th (Hidden) Thurzan

This boss drains mana completely so don't bother using pots.... but this isn't such a problem because this boss also spawns little blue add friends :D

I don't want to explain this boss in great detail because its easy and I believe what I have said above is plenty ;)

Only thing I will say, is HARD MODE = Fear.
For Hard mode make sure dps have backs to walls so that you don't get feared 6 miles out of the room. Survive the fear, say hi to your little blue friends and continue the fight :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
14th (Hidden) Blue Flame Incinerator / Flarestorm

Needed for quest - obtained from Teressa
Easy mode= Aoe on the adds, get the buff from the ash spell, avoid pressure wave.

HARD MODE:
Skill to be aware of: ORB OF ANNHILATION - big damage
To stop this insane damage you need to attack the boss after he casts PRESSURE WAVE and get the BUFF which increases darkness resistance (from the ASH skill).

This buff will decrease damage from orb. When the boss casts orb, move 9m back, stop dps and get healed, when boss has finished with pressure wave, move back to boss and attack. Everyone should be close to the boss to get the buff.

When adds spawn (easy mode) get a glad to aoe on them around the boss, on hard mode, reset them out of the room - everyone needs to move out of the room. If you don't reset them on hard mode, you are looking at insta-wipe.
When returning back to the room, wait for orb (this happens every 16s or so) and then start to run back in when you see pressure wave the skill will finish just as you get close so you can continue to the boss.

IF at any point a member of the group doesn't have the buff for resistance they will need to move up the ramp out of range of the aoe and then move back in as described. If the cleric misses the buff, everyone can move up the ramp without resetting the boss ;)

AOE on the Adds around the boss - safe mode.
HM Video (Thanks to stok 0123 for posting on yt)

NOTE: EASY MODE the skill to get SHROUD OF ASH has a cast time, on HARDMODE - it is instant cast and has NO CAST TIME, just know it is the skill AFTER pressure wave.
Drops really nice head gear for classes (like the dp ones)

You do not need to leave the room when you have the ash buff. Save time and DPS at this point move back 8m or so for pressure wave and so on.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15th Boss: ROD STORMWING

Easy Mode:
This pretty looking dragon spawns tornados. These hurt and should be avoided IF near boss when aoe goes off.
Tried and tested:
100% to 50% the more dps the boss recieves the more tornados... so easiest thing to do is to let the tank do dps.
At 50% you get a big aoe 20-25m range everyone should move out of the way, Dragon Quake is the name.
Most important players in this fight are Healers and Tank. Best thing to do, is for people to jump in tornados to stop cleric from being lifted.
We had sin and glad jumping in tornados who got close to healers, they took not much damage and stopped the healers being lifted. Once someone gets lifted into a tornado, it also makes the tornado change path.

50% to 35% is dps race before the next big aoe.
Also Volcanic storm - watch this, its an area affect and hurts.
Tank this boss on the edge where the tornados do not pat.
Watch his aoe's and stuns and ofcourse avoid the tornados.

Hard Mode:
Starts aoe's and tornado spawn way way way earlier ;)
As above but increase damage and so forth.
This boss has only been killed in Korea using a bug - which has been fixed now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<recommendations for="" hard="" instance="" mode="" on="" this="">
Tank
Cleric
Chanter
Off-tank
DPS but 1 must be ranged if you want to kill all bosses.
----------------------
Gear:
Since 2.1, Gear isn't a problem ;)
----------------------
Hard Mode is essentially a higher drop rate for the gold items and also the chance for Eternal Drops.
----------------------
Comparison of Difficulty with Dark Poeta:
S Rank Tahabata is nothing compared to some of these Hard Mode bosses especially Hard Mode Isbariya

---------------------
Special thanks to everyone who put with with learning new bosses where guides didn't exist and taking the time to learn with me :)
Crystal(Ranger), Ferix(Slacker), Pakko(Chanter), Bloodseeker(Templar), Pesmerga(Templar), Taro(Gladiator), Zuri(Sorcerer), Lenia(Sorcerer), Konina(Sorcerer), Killa (Gladiator), Igorok(Chanter), Pseud(Spiritmaster) and Adeon(Gladiator)

Credit to Kor site for maps.</recommendations>

Getting to the Root of the New Aion Kinah Guide

So, there is a new Kinah guide on the market. It’s been sitting there waiting for me to read it for the past three days now and I didn’t really get to it until last night, when I realized that the rain was not going to let up any time soon. Let’s just say this – boy am I ever glad that it kept raining, because otherwise I might not have stumbled upon what is clearly the best and brightest new Kinah guide on the market…by far.

So, what’s the big deal about this Kinah guide as opposed to the rest of the guides that hit the market seemingly every month? To start with, this guide doesn’t try to walk that fine line between telling you how the game works and actually providing useful information about the game. Rather, it focuses on how to get your characters into position to make some serious Kinah and then shows you how to do it.

What You Get

The guide focuses largely on crafting and then on some basic hunting and gathering to get the materials you need to sell or craft with. It then tells you exactly what you need to focus on when it comes to getting your character up to the necessary levels in the game. From the most basic, simplistic style of play that has you out there gathering fish and ore, to the high risk high gain world of rare proccing Legendary gear, the guide shows you pretty much everything you need to make Kinah effectively.

To be fair, it doesn’t cover as many farming spots as I would like, but the guide has already been updated once and promises to continue updating as more locations open up later in the game, beyond those first few levels.

The Bottom Line
Here’s the deal – the Aion Kinah Guide is easily the biggest and best looking new Kinah guide on the market. I made some solid profits on day one and am still reviewing the text in the guide to see what else I can pry out of it. With a couple of updates and a patch or two to the game, this thing will be near unbeatable.

Get the guide here

Aion Online BT Hardmode Walkthrough

The order the bosses are killed in generally are done so cool downs are up at the right time for the bosses that need them. Most bosses in hard mode have about 2x the health as normal mode and hit a bit harder. Feel free to do the bosses in any order whoever you will want cool downs for Captain Lakhare,The Great Virhana, Isbariya the Resolute, and probably Legendary Warrior Taros. Most other bosses shouldn't be necessary.

I skipped mentioning a couple bosses because we haven't done them.

This is a hard mode guide and should be used once you know how to do normal mode as a reference.

Group makeup will be essential. My group tends to run very heavy range group. This seems to work very well for us.

We run with 1 ranger, 1 or 2 sorcerers and an Spirit Master if only one sorcerer. We also have the Templar, chanter and cleric off course. Only a couple bosses are harder or take longer with melee so it isn't a big deal to roll with all range or range and melee.

Recommendation to melee/physical damage classes. Bump accuracy with a piece of armor or two with all accuracy stones in them. Try and get around 2100-2200 accuracy after food otherwise your dps in BT will be terrible since you will not hit very frequently and all that critical stones and attack stones won't mean much when you are swinging at thin air. Trash mobs use normal gear.

First Boss Hard Mode – Captain Lakhare

New Ability: AOE pull- pulls everything in from roughly 16 meters or so.
Use WOW right away

Healers stand and heal at range like normal mode.

Range dps stand outside of aoe pull range

melee runs out when bosses arms go up.

When curse of doom is cast chanter use WOQ and Tank use invincibility

Some times it is helpful if the tank kites a little back and forth in front of the group.

2nd Boss Timed Island boss-Macunbello

Note our group only kills one island and is still a very easy fight.

Hide behind pillar and range dps dpses from range and should be an easy victory.

Temp rezes people and kills add by tombstone

Chanter and cleric heal

Dps stand on both sides of pillar this allows the whole group to not get hit by one of his AOE moves. Both sides meaning left and right side. Kind of in an arc.

3rd Boss The Great Virhana

This is a major obstacle to the rest of the instance.

Have resurrection stones and self resurrection stones

Cleric should have Rebirth on themselves.

This boss does three curses and then AOE as soon as the reflect wears off.

The strategy is to dps as much as possible right away.

Chanter pops WOW right away and everyone make sure you have shards and any possible scrolls and buffs up

Run in dps like crazy 30sec in chanter pops speed cast WOQ.

Once Curses start to go off just after the 2nd death the healer should loci resurrect people and the timing should be so that the resurrection goes off when the third person is dead.

IMPORTANT ALWAYS wait till the boss AOES then resurrect.

This is a dps race so dps need to be dpsing at all times.

When the reflect is off, the range should move outside the AOE range about 18 meters or so.

The tank can save the healer using a bodyguard and take the curse death for them.
Spirit Master can have their pet out and use spirit substitution and save themselves that way.
Chanters can use their 4k dp skill and save themselves this way also.
Video of fight in hard mode to get an idea of what goes down.(In Russian sorry)

4th Boss Stun boss- Vehala Curse

Similar to normal mode

Just dps
Stop dps when tank is stunned

A trick to tanking this boss is to tank in back of the room by a column in the center of the wall tank the boss on either side of the column and then when implosion occurs tuck into a corner on the other side there are a couple spots and you won't get hit .

5th boss monument boss-Ahbana the Wicked

Similar to normal mode just no orbs to fill mana and add cast speed.

6th boss Horse boss- Legendary Warrior Taros

Do this boss next because cool downs are probably up. Pop WOW right away and tank saves Invincibility for 50% and chanter saves speed cast for after that.

7th boss incinerator key boss- Flarestorm

We range dps from up the ramp. Wait for orb of destruction run in to dps range dps and count to15 then run out healer needs to heal.
Do this the whole fight.

Every 20% a massive amount of adds spawn just run up and out of the room and away till they explode our Templar just stood on the hill.

This is a long fight doing it this way however it is a pretty safe method

8th boss Shugo- Bold Dorakiki

Same as normal just CC the sorcerer the whole fight. Kite Chopper and kill Fillit.

A good Trick for this fight also is to run off chopper and you will have an extra dps to help kill the boss.

9th boss blue orb boss-Thurzan

Same as normal mode just make sure to have everyone topped off every 25% and have your back against the wall because he does a fear damage dot at the 25%, 50%, and 75% marks.

10th boss artifact boss-Isbariya the Resolute

Special note as off patch 2.1 you will no longer be able to run out of the room.

Dps like normal first 25% Phase 1 lasts the WHOLE fight.
75% to 50% is phase 1 and phase 2

There will be only 1 person on ghosts and it seemed to be healers a lot. just kill ghosts but make sure hitting artifact is highest on your things to do then get back to ghosts once u see the buff on your bar.

50% to 25% Amazingly hard phase.

One person stays dead the whole phase to call out AOES very easy job. The person should die 3/4 the way toward the door so the temp can rez them when he pokes his head in. Just have the rez ready to go so you don't have to do it later is all.

We dps the boss till orbs come out then hit the artifact and then run out of the room.

BEFORE 2.1 Strategy
We sit in between the pillars outside the room.

The boss will be focusing on one person when the group moves into the room so make sure that person stays back by the door with the cleric. The rest of the group runs all the way up and dpses the **** out of the boss till he casts the AOE. At this point hit the artifact and the people by the door move back to the pillars. Once u get the buff run out and get healed up. You can stay for more then one round by using pots and chanter heals.

Agro may switch around eventually when that happens that person needs to run out and get
healed by the door.

Phase 3 patch 2.1 strategy
Once the orbs come out cleric and temp stay at the base of the stairs and heal while dps moves around. Call out artifacts and run up and hit the artifacts when needed. As soon as buff is applied spread out.

30% the boss kicks off with a fear after that make sure everyone is ready and dps right after artifact goes off to bring him down and cause fear.

Once he is done AOEing run in as an entire group and resurrect your dead group members. Burn the boss down and this part is just like phase one.

Special Note: The artifacts have a glitch that if refreshed at the exact time the AOE goes off it will slaughter your group. To avoid this stop hitting the artifact once you receive the buff. Also once you receive the buff spread out there is no reason to stand on the artifact once you get the buff.

Reason behind this guide was i had no internet for 9 hours and is more of an in depth run through on specifically how to make some of the hard bosses easier.

Aion Online Melee Weapon Comparison Guide

It occurred to me that there isn't a whole lot of easily accessible information on the differences between certain weapon types, and many people end up gimping their class

Melee weapon Damage Comparisons.

This was designed in order to compare differences between melee weapon types, to provide a more cohesive guide when deciding on your characters equipment. This information was researched from various locations, and in some cases tested. I believe it all to be accurate, however I could always be wrong.

The Kromede's Gold weapon set was used to calculate these stats as it is a widely recognized set. Additional attributes were not calculated as these vary weapon to weapon, and this is designed to give a broad view of all weapon choices. Not specifics, these are examples.

Other attributes such as + attack, +crit, weapon speed, extendability, and attack speed must also be considered when making your choice of weapon.

Remember that I am using AVERAGES, and in reality, each hit can be wildly higher or lower than is shown, but will still even out. Remember the law of large numbers.

I cannot stress enough that these are the weapon stats only, not factoring in player stats, only what the weapon adds.

For the sake of simplicity, I am not counting evasion/parry/or blocks, as the differences between weapons are marginal, so I am assuming that every hit is successful

For multiple hit weapons, I will use this explanation:

=========
Multiple hits proc around 30% and each additional hit does 10% of the initial hits damage.
Though, the total damage is shown at the last hit (In big numbers)

so it'd be like.. 74 - 7 - 7 - 89

Also, the chance of critical striking only pertains to the first hit. The following hits, is the extra "boost" from that weapon type.
=========

So, for example we take Kromede's spear:

Kromede's spear
2h weapon
Very slow 4 strike weapon.

Attack 186 - 346
Atk Speed 2.8
Physical Critical 50
Crit value 1.8

What we know:
Kromede's spear has a very wide damage range, but the average of it 266. Therefore, factoring out enemy defense, and additional player attack stats/bonuses, a normal hit from this weapon will do 266 damage.

If the weapon procs to a multiple hit, the damage will be as follows: 266-26-26-26=344. Therefore, we find that 30% of all hits will deal 344 damage rather then 266.

Attack speed of this weapon is 2.8. Without factoring in crits, or multiple strikes, the DPS of the weapon is 266 divided by 2.8 or 95.

The critical hit rate is 50. This means that this weapon has a 5% chance of dealing a critical hit. The crit value of this weapon is 1.8, so 266 * 1.8 = 478.8. Therefore 5 out of ever 100 hits will do 478 damage.

Attack speed of this weapon is 2.8. Without factoring in crits, or multiple strikes, the DPS of the weapon is 266 divided by 2.8 or 95.

Out of 100 hits, we can assume that 65 will do 266 damage, 30 will do 344, and 5 will do 478.

65 * 266 = 17290
30 * 344 = 10320
5 * 478 = 2390

Total damage out of 100 hits = 30,000 (yes, exactly 30,000)

Now we find damage per second by factoring in attack speed

30,000/2.8 = 10,714

and by backtracking a little bit:

10,714/100= 107.14

You still with me? Through all of that we find that the average DPS of a normal strike is 107 every second.

I will know apply this to everyone of Kromede's weapons, but without all of the explaining.

----------------------------------------------------------
Kromede's spear
2h weapon
Very slow 4 strike weapon.

Attack 186 - 346
Atk Speed 2.8
Physical Critical 50 - %5
Crit value 1.8

Normal strike 266
Multiple Strike 344
Critical strike 478

100 hits: 30,000
100 seconds: 10,714

Average DPS 107

Things to note:

Spears have a very wide damage range, there is a chance that a normal strike from this weapon can do 346, or that it can be as low as 186. This offers a chance to have some very high burst damage, if you are lucky, but also some very low.

----------------------------------------------------------

Kromede's Greatsword
2h weapon
Very Slow 3 Strike Weapon

attack 243 - 257
Atk Speed 2.4
Physical Critical 10 - %1
Crit Value 1.8

Normal Strike 250
Multiple strike 300
critical strike 450

100 hits: 26700
100 seconds: 11,125

Average DPS 111

Things to note:

Unlike the polearm, the greatword has a very small damage window, this results in a very steady amount of DPS, where is will never dip below a certain amount, but you will never get a massive blow like you can with a pole arm. The difference in average DPS is marginal, and the attack speed difference is barely noticeable. You are free to decide either one, based on whether you want to be doing steady damage, or have large peaks and valleys. Neither is a bad choice. You should certainly consider all other factors, for example Kromede's spear is extendable, which doubles its range. Making it a clear winner. Many greatswords have attack speed attributes, which will make them an easy choice over a polearm.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Kromede's Sword
1h weapon
Normal 2 Strike Weapon

Attack 119 - 147
Atk Speed 1.4
Physical critical 50 - %5
Crit Value 2.2

Normal Strike 133
Multiple Strike 146
Critical Strike 293

100 hits: 14490
100 seconds: 10350

Average DPS 103

Things to note:

Being a 1 handed weapon, it has the positive side of being able to equip with it a shield, dagger, mace, or another sword.
On its own, dps is not severely lower then its GS counterpart, which means, that for those temps who lay down the shield, in favor of a gs are sacrificing a lot of extra defense, for a very small offensive boost.
The downside to this weapon, is that it lacks the random knockdown chance that comes with 2 handers, which is very useful in pvp.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Kromede's Serated Knife
1h Weapon
Fast 1 Strike Weapon

attack 108 - 120
Atk Speed 1.2
Physical Critical 100 - %10
Crit Value 2.2

Normal Strike 114
Multiple Strike 114
Critical Strike 251

100 hits 12770
100 seconds 10641

Average DPS 106

Things to note:

The Dagger's DPS is only higher because of its high critical hit chance. This is great at lower levels, for sins that haven't capped their crit yet, but becomes much less effective once you hit the soft crit cap of 440. After that, sword vs dagger dps is very similar, and either is valuable. This topic has been explained in great detail in many other places, and the most effective combination seems to be Dagger main hand, sword off hand.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Kromede's Staff
2h weapon
Normal 3 Strike Weapon

attack 152 - 228
Atk Speed 2
Physical Critical 60 - 6%
Crit Value 1.8

Normal Strike 190
Multiple Strike 228
Critical Strike 342

100 hits 21052
100 seconds 10526

Average DPS 106

Things to note:
The staff is the premier chanter weapon, it has a fairly high crit rate, ability to do some high burst damage with luck, and is easily the fastest of the 2 handed weapons. Being a 2 hander, it has a chance of knocking down your opponent, making it excellent for PVP. However, chanters often find themselves playing the role of a healer, and should be prepared to sacrifice it for the survivability of a shield.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Kromede's Warhammer
1h Weapon
Normal 3 Strike Weapon

attack 113 - 171
Atk Speed 1.5
Physical Critical 10 - %1
Crit Value 2.2

Normal Strike 142
Multiple Strike 170
Critical Strike 312

100 hits 16740
100 seconds 11160

Average DPS 111

Things to note:
As a chanter this was the biggest surprise for me. It would appear that in a direct comparison, the hammer out damages the staff. And seeing as how dps is a large part of a chanter's job, it really surprised me that it wasn’t more widely used. The downside is that you are loosing some range, and the staves random knockdown chance (which is invaluable in pvp). The mace/shield combo, however offers additional DPS, and the added block/defense/damage resist that a shield gives. All chanter's should have both, in pve situations, a mace and shield is far better, especially in group pve, where elite mobs make the extra defense invaluable. And a staff for pvp, where the extra knockdown chance could very well save your life.

Never let anyone tell you that a chanter doesn’t you a mace/shield, (as is the case every time I roll on either) you have as much of a right to roll on it as anyone else. I won Kromede's warhammer over a temp, and it succeeded in being the most useful item I have thus far.
Remember kids, staff=pvp, mace=pve.

Aion Online PvP Guide

Aion is a PVP game, hands down. PvE content is there but you will quickly grow tired of the game if you focus merely on the PvE Aspect of the game. All great pvpers have ONE thing in common, miragents.

Just joking, miragent's was not the answer! While gear is definitely important, it pales in comparison to a skilled pvper. With the help of some of the other big pvpers in the legion, I've decided to throw together some tips/tricks and strategies for people to better themselves at PVP. Keep in mind, everything in pvp is situational and your ability to adapt and apply with be key in your success (or failure) when it comes to the implementation of any of these tricks/tips. So lets begin:

1.) PVP jitters. This is the biggest problem I see with "fresh" pvpers. When a fight is about to begin, the jitters begin. It's true of any game, and it's detrimental. Nerves are hard to fight, but you should definitely find a way to relax yourself before you try to get anywhere as a pvper. Nobody will get mad at you for messing up, pvp is fun, relax and focus! The quicker thinking and quicker adapting team always wins!

- Tips -

Flight Lines and wtfninja's getting away.
At 50 in semi decent gear, you should easily be flight speed capped. (16 is cap). So why then, are these people you are face raping getting away? I mean, you are both at cap, and he's still escaping? Flight lines: The statement "The shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line" applies ten fold in aion.
There are 2 key things you need to be aware of:

If he turns sharper then you, he will gain distance on you.

If you turn when he does not, he will gain distance on you.

There's the obvious reasons of distance/time of course, but ncsoft throws us a curve ball by amplifying the fact. When you turn, strafe, gain altitude, or drop altitude in aion, your flight speed is reduced. so while you may have 16 in a straight line, pressing "r" or "f" or "q" or "e" does in fact reduce your flight speed to lower then 16. When giving chase you want to fly as straight as possible while he flies straight and while he turns, you want to turn sharper and faster (don't over do it). If he begins gradually banking left, you turn sharper left and then straight to cut him off mid turn. It takes practice, but when you get used to it people become a lot easier to catch!

Your target is too far away, your target is too far away.
This thing sucks. The only things you can do to try and get around it are:

Carry a bow. (glads/sins) Autoshoot while you chase, stay within bow range and keep auto shooting. Crits from a bow can stun, which can give you valuable seconds to catch up.

Don't get too eager. The urge to hit your target may well up inside you like a bad burrito, but hold off on those skills and wait until you get AHEAD of your target before you unleash hell.

Roping bulls and running away.
For any class, the worst thing to have happen in mass pvp, or while you are running is the dreaded Templar lasso. Nothing sucks more then going for a quick ride into a group of horny asmo's with your sweet clean ass unprotected. Carry shock scrolls. I see far to many people without them, and perhaps it's because they don't understand their true value, they resist IJ. When baiting or pushing as a dps you should have a shock scroll up, when it goes down, you get out. When Moving in to make a pull as a Templar, you need a scroll up, when it goes down, get out. Nothing is better feeling then seeing that shiny silver rope coming at you and having your char not move and watching the enemies Templar cry at his IJ cool down and nothing to show for it.

Narcotics and how to abuse them.
Healing potions (Not life potions) are the greatest thing in the world! (next to a certain breed of puppies that live in sweaters) They get you out of root, silence, dots and much more! Carry them and use them wisely. But even more then learning to use them effectively, is the importance of knowing how to beat them! Greater healing potions remove the first 2 debuffs from a target (1st meaning the 1st applied). Stacking debuffs properly can make or break a duel or pvp encounter.

Example:
Fighting a sorc, you have wind cut down, flame cage, and silence. Which is most detrimental to the enemy sorc? Obviously silence completely destroys the sorcs usefulness on every front. But what good is it if he just pots out? If we silence him then dot him, he will healing pot and lose silence and 1 dot, while the other remains. However, if we dot him twice then silence him, his greater healing pot will remove both dots but he will remain silenced. See what I mean =)? Always provide padding for your most important effects, silence, root, festering wound ect. ect. Make sure you have 2 debuffs to pad whatever effect can win you the battle.

EVASIVE MANEUVERS PEWPEW
If you notice while you're moving, around your character in the HUD, these cool little arrows appear. Convenient isn't it? Just in case you forget you are currently moving forward Ncsoft will remind you! No, that's not what they are for. They are infact "Stat manipulation" indicators. Yeah, so basically movement in different directions affects your stats differently!

Forward movement:

+10% Physical Damage

+10% Magic Damage

-20% Physical Defense

-20% Magic Defense

Backwards movement:

+500% to Parry

+500% to Block

-70% Physical Damage

-40% Movement Speed

Strafing:

+300% to Evasion

-70% Physical Damage

-20% Movement Speed

The changes are significant, this is part of the reason "Jump shots" are so effective for archers. By canceling the animation on impact with the ground, they can receive the 10% damage buff for their skills as well. Templar's can also tank while backing into a wall to gain +500% block/parry.

Asmodar WeeEoOoo WeEEeEoOo
Using a special chat box, you can detect enemy Asmodian's before you can even see them!

Create a new Chat Tab. Chat Preferences Menu -> Add Tab
Name the new tab "Asmo Radar"
Drag the tab away from your chat window so it makes a new window.
Go into the Tab Options. Under "Combat - Others", turn off all except the 5 message types for "Enemy's..."
Position and size the window so it does not block anything else. It does not have to be large, as it will be faded most of the time.
You will see white text whenever an Asmodian is in the area!

FEAR NO MAN (OR WOMAN)
Fear is the bane of any class. Nothing sucks more then being fear locked for a whole fight (Well I can think of things that suck more but I dun wanna get in trouble). so learn to glide! If you are mid glide while a fear hits, you automatically resist the fear. It takes practice, but glide canceling as an SM tries to fear shriek you can be a god send!

For those SM's cussing at me for this, learn to fear bait as a counter. Start casting a fear, when you see them glide, cancel the cast and then recast! confuse them!

Blue hands are bad for your health.
In any large scale or small scale pvp, situational awareness is a necessary skill. Sorcs and SM's are the key targets you have the ability to react to, and Ncsoft has done us a favor with their skill animations. Supplication of Focus, Sleep, Tree, and fear all share "blueish" color to their animations. When you see them, GTFO 35 Meters or silence!

Aion Online Dredge Guide

Aion Online Dredge Guide by Sharparrows

The basics:
Dredgion is an instance that is available for lvls 46-50, but only on certain times. The times varies depending on server, so you will have to ask someone for the exact times, but for all servers the entry opens 3 times a day, and each time you have 2 hours to enter, before it closes again. If you have the right lvl, a little icon will show up on your screen.

The difference with the instance is that the opposing faction will be in it too at the same time, so there will (hopefully) be both PvE and PvP. Each room has a couple of mobs, and a surkana. The teams accumulate points, and the team with highest point after 1 hour or if any team kills the captain, win. Each player in the winning team gets an extra 3000 ap, and each player in losing team gets an extra 1500 ap. Other than those freebies you will also have a personal score, that will give you individual ap.

Points:
Your number one source of points are the surkanas. And hence you should aim to get as many surkanas under your control as possible. Be vary tho, hitting a surkana will aggro all nearby mobs, so make sure you clear the needed mobs first. But again, never kill more mobs than you need to, as you want to be ahead of the other team. You will learn after a couple runs which mobs aggro and which you should leave alone. Having an experienced player pulling only the needed mobs will save you a lot of time, and give you the upper hand. Each room (except the very first) will also have a small boss guarding the surkana. This boss however will reset if you leave his room, so the general tactic is to cc the boss, kill the surk, and leave the room.

This is the score for all surkanas:
Other than surkanas there are points to be made on killing all types of mobs in the instance. Some mobs also drop keys, that leads to the 3 prisons that each of the two brigs have. Points vary a bit depending on what lvls you got in group, but it should be very close to the following.

Captain: 1000p
Bridge boss: 500p
Room bosses: 200p
Prisoners: 100p
5 dot mobs: 40p
2 dot mobs 18p

As mentioned earlier, everyone will have a individual score. The sum of all individual scores makes up the groups score, and will be measured against the other groups score to see what team wins. When the instance end, the ap you will get is calculated by: 1,15 * your individual score + 3000/1500 for winning/losing.

Any boss/mob/surkanas points will be divided like xp on regular mobs. Higher lvls in group will get more than the lower lvl, and if both faction hit the same surkana, each group will get a % of the points depending on how many % of its hp they killed. If Asmo kill 80% of the gravity surkana, and Elos 20%, Asmo will claim 720p and Elos 180p.

However, it gets more complicated than that. For a player to get the score, he has to be near the surkana when it dies, and alive. If a player is dead when the surk dies, his score will disappear. Lets say the Elos, instead of hitting the surkana, attacks the Asmo, and at the time the surkana dies, only 1 Asmo is alive, but all 6 of Elos. Then the scores would be about 720/6= 120p for Asmo, and 180p for Elos.

The points produced per person however is not the same for all, it depends on the damage they did on the surkana. If in fact, one player in your team did 50% of the dmg to the surkana, while the rest was killing mobs, and only this player dies before surk does, then his 50% of the points is gone. In other words, if you find the enemy group attacking a surkana, and u want to stop them from getting as much points as possible, always kill the one who you think did the most dmg to the surk, which probably is the Assassin.

This also makes suiciding into surks a bad idea, if you cant keep your team alive until the surk dies. If you rush a surk and lose half your team by the time the surk dies, you will lose around 50% of its points. If you however manage to keep everyone in your team alive until surks died, you will get surk point-360p(for the deaths), which is still decent considering that you spent 0 time killing mobs, and can move on to the next surkana while the other team is still killing mobs.

PvP 101:
You are in the same instance as the other faction, and there will be fighting. To win the fight, one of the most important things is deciding who to kill first, and having everyone assists on killing that person. A cleric can easily keep his party alive if 3 targets each take a little dmg, but if the enemy assist on 1 target together it will die faster than the cleric can heal. A lot of the times when I'm in a PUG, the one marking will put one target on mobs (skull for example), and when seeing enemy he will put the same mark on them, and after the fight, go back to using the same mark on mobs again. This means of course the mark on enemy will be lost, which is stupid.

What I do, and I find is much more useful, is using 1-4, stop, and ZZ mark on enemy, and skull on mobs. This mean I only have to mark the enemy once, and they will stay marked for the rest of the instance. Once marked, just proceed to kill the enemy in order of the number, and everyone in your group always know who to hit/cc. This is to each of his own ofc, but personly I got the 6 marks mentioned on F1-F6, and the "select mark" for those on F7-F12. This means I can mark, and switch to any target almost instantly, without even having to see them on the screen. This also is much faster than trying to target them with mouse/tab. You might not need to have hotkeys for marking, but you should always have six buttons easy to reach to select the marks your targeter use (this goes for all PvP in general, not just Dredgion)!

Each time you kill an enemy your team gets 60 points for him, that is if your team killed 100% of his hp. If a mob killed 50% of his hp you get 30p, and the rest of the points will disappear. If a mob kills 100% of the enemy hp all points will be lost from the game. So if given the options, its always better to kill the enemy yourself, than to let them die to mobs. Whenever one of your teammates die, to a mob or in PvP, everyone in your team lose 10p from their individual score, meaning your team loses 60p. In a 6v6 fight when one side kills all in the other team without any loss themselves, and with no mobs around, this therefor means they will steal 360p.

Tactics:
You can always see how much points both teams have, and knowing how much points everything in the instance bring, gives you the chance to outsmart them. For example if they lead with 100p, the time is almost up, and all surks are dead. You might wanna kill a room boss for 200p. Or if you know they are at barracks with a 200p lead, meaning they will get another 700p there, you might wanna rush the Captain, and get 1000p and end the instance. This is hard to explain, or to learn by theory, but the more you do Dredgion the better you will get at making the right calls. Try to think: "How much do they have and how much will they get, in the same time as we get how much". There are many occasions I have won with a weaker team just by killing the right things at the right time.

Extra:
There are a couple of quests in the Dredgion, the most important one being a 30 repeat that gives you 800 ap extra for each time your team kill the bridge surkana, this is also the reason many teams focus on trying to get to bridge before the other team. After having done this quest 30 times a new quest will lock up, but it can only be taken if you are on Korean client, which I will not explain how to in this guide. But the reward for that quest is a really nice blue earring, so you will want to do it.

There is also a couple of rare bosses that can spawn inside Dredgion. The one spawning in Gravity room drops some really nice orange belts, and one in Baracks drops a really nice orange helm. Kill these when possible. There are also two rare quest bosses, one spawning in the very first room, and one at bridge. Kill these if you need them for quest. But remember none of these bosses give any points.

Every 15 minutes, the instance will make a check to see if there are players in both teams. If one team is empty, a 5 minute timer will show up, and then end the instance. That means that if the enemy team for some reason leave within the first 15 minutes, the instance will end at 42:00, after 18 minutes. Use this 18 minutes to get as much points as possible without being disturbed by anyone. You can either rush to the bridge for quest, or kill the surkanas that give the most points.

Foulplay:

I wasn't sure if I should include this or not, but I decided to do it after all, because whether or not you like it its part of the game atm and it is going to happen.

Training:
A lot of the times you will fight enemies that pull a bunch of mobs, and then run over to your team and die, making all his mobs aggro on you instead. This means two things. Firstly their team have no mobs guarding the surkana, and they can kill it with ease. But also, if he brought enough mobs your team will die, losing both points and time. This is considered by many a cheap tactic, because there is little you can do to prevent it if they do it right. Your best defense is trying to use a spell that stops him, leaving him to die by his mobs on safe enough distance so that you don't get aggro. A SM fear for example is a perfect spell to stop someone with.

However if its a Assassin training you he will resist the fear, or any other skill you will throw at him. If you have no other way of stopping the person training, send in only 1 person to try and kill him, as the trainer should be at low hp from mobs. Then both the trainer and the one stopping him will die. But you will get some points for killing the trainer, and will get ressed back by your party.

Assassin stealing surks:
Assassins got advanced hide, making them able to run around in the instance without being attacked. The only mobs that can see through advanced hide are; Room bosses, Rare bosses and the snipers. Assassins also have two weapons, meaning they do double the dmg on each surkana hit (surkanas only take 1 dmg, but with two swings for assassin its 2 dmg) than any other class. That together with very high attack speed and a AoE blind stigma enables them to run to any surkana in the instance, and kill it alone in 2-3 suicide attacks.

The other team has really no way of stopping him, as they themselves are blocked by mobs. This is foul not only to the other team, but to your own too as the Assassin will be the only one in his team to get any points, as he is the only one near to the surkana. This is also sometimes used as a tactic to win the game for the group ensuring everyone the 3k ap for winning. Having 5 ppl in your team disturb the other team, while having your assassin steal surkanas and get your team the highest score.

A note on this, is when someone is alone and hitting the surkana, it will only register him as an attacker and not his group. Lets say an assassin kills 90% of a a surkana all alone. But then when he is out of range from the surkana someone else in his team kills the last 10%. Even tho the same team killed 100% of the surkana, the one who killed 90% of it is not there, and so 90% of the points will be lost. The people who killed the 10% and is there will still get 10% of the surkana points, but the rest is lost both for the assassin who killed 90%, but also from the team, as group score is the sum of everyones individual score. So if you want the score for your team, make sure everyone who hit the surkana is around when it dies.

Key hogging:
As I said earlier you will end up with a couple of keys while killing mobs. These lead to the 6 prisoners that each give 100p. The person looting this key can either use it when his group is at the prison killing the surkana, which would give everyone 100/6 points. Or as Ive seen some selfish people do, save it, and go back there later when he is alone and get 100p all for himself.

There is also a third tactic, which I must admit I have done a couple of times. Its not hard to save up a couple of keys, lets say 6 of them. And if you ever have a really close game, you pop out all your keys and is able to boost your teams point up by as much as 600p, if no one else has opened any prison yet. I have won several close games by producing an extra instant 500p in the last minute.

Aion Online 2.0 Single Player Instances Guide

This guide is for the three single Player instances introduced in the 2.0 patch. It is based on the Aion 2.0 available on the Public Test Server (PTS), so things might change with the live servers. I figured that a guide would be very useful for the single player instances, since you would not be able to take another player along to show you the ropes inside the instance. Others are still contributing to Kromede's Trial and Taloc's Hollow guides, so I have provided links to the actual threads on the PTS. The location of all instances can be seen on your maps. The last two instances each take about 2 hours if you kill everything. My Nightflower alt got a gold mace in Kromede's Trial on the third run through and a gold earring in Taloc's Hollow in the second run through. Good luck on the drops!

Haramel:
This instance (levels 19-22) almost doesn't need a guide, since it is very straightforward and easy. The instances are located in Verteron (@ the Observatory) and Altgard (Impetusium). There are flight points to both of them.

Attunement: None- just walk in.

Walkthrough: Well, just walk through on this one. There is a quest giver right inside the instance. There are only two problems that you need to remember here. The first is gathering. There are several things you need to gather. There are an exact number of items provided for gathering, so you will need to get them all. If you are short on one, keep hunting around. The second thing is the tower. You can only get out by jumping out. Hopefully you have learned how to glide by then. The level of the mobs will increase as you go through the instance.

Kromede's Trial (aka Nightmare):
Kromede's Trial is usually called Nightmare in chat. It seems to generate the most questions so far. These notes are based on two runs made by my PTS Asmodean cleric, Nightflower. Right now she is undergeared, and both her Blinding Flash heal and Earth's Wrath I are lvl 30 or lower (due to lack of kinah). She is using two lvl 30 rental gold pieces, the staff and the miniskirt (pants, lol)

Preliminaries: The run takes me over 2 hours, so plan accordingly, and ppl have complained that they get kicked out if they are AFK too long - there is a 20 hr lock out period. Pick up the prequest from the commander at Belusian (Heiron) who sends you to an suspicious shugo (do all suspicious shugos lead to intances?). You can find the instance on the map. In Belusian, if you fly, you will need to go through Red Mane, since there is not a direct flight from the fortress. It is best if you have several health pots with you, although you get some in the instance.

Background info: The first time through is sort of a walk-through, since none of the secondary bosses are available, and the final boss is in a non-elite mode. ALL the mobs in the instance are lvl 38, of varying degress of dots and eliteness. The second time through you have access to the other bosses, but if you don't fight them. The final boss is a two dot lvl 38 elite and you have a chance at a gold item, from a key that the boss drops. The first elite is a one dot lvl 38. Use the Rotan in fighting him, it helps. Along the way you pick up three items: 1. Rotan (30 sec cooldown), 2. An AOE (longer cooldown), and 3. something that repluses enemies (10 min cool down). Because of the long cooldown, I suggest that you keep the last one until the final boss, unless you get a 3 pull.

The first time through you only have one quest. You get three repeatables after the first time through. For the repeatable about soul pieces, only the guards have them, not the "guests", and not the butlers or maids.

The butlers are melee, and the maids are casters. Half the time the guards pull in twos, one melee, and one ranged. You can use the AOE to take down the bats (there is only one group of these). You can kill the librarians (casters) (why do librarians wear masks?) and the librarian next to the bookshelf on the far wall has the key to the armory.

Walk through: After you enter, you get a cut scene telling you what is happening. Next, some warmups against ogre types and spiders. This leads you to the place where you fight some Kagolem and pick up the rotan. Use it to kill the pillar thing and break down the wall. Practice using against the next mobs until you get to the first gate. Kill the mob, enter the gate and slip to one side when the pats are not there. You can then take them down one at a time. You will then be ready for the one dot lvl 38 elite, who is guarding the portal to the dungeon.

After the portal you get another cut scene. Clear the guards in the hallway to get the key to get through the next gate. The prisoners you have to kill for one of the repeatables are on your right. After you get through the gate Kromede finds her love in another jail cell. She needs to get the key. The key is in the last room on the left, being guarded at the back of the room. The two guards in the back on the left are your first two pull, there are many more of these. Get the AOE artifact out the chest.

Go back to the cell where Kromede's heart throb is, where she finds him ...dead. That is when you pick up RAGE, a buff that gives 1000 HP and MP and lasts for an hour. From this point on I would advise you not to waste too much time. In fact, your Rotan expires 2 hours after you enter also. Go up the stairs and use the AOE on the bats on the stairs. Go clear the hallway. Mind the maid in the corner at the far left corner. You will see a big room to the right.

In the next room you will need to start minding your pulls. Pull the butler pat into the hallway. There is a maid to the right, so if you blunder into the room she might agro. Then clear around the edge. The fountain with the HP buff is in the center with two guards. Where you want to go is up the stairs (either side) and get the last artifact being guarded by the guy in the cowl. After you get the artifact, go through the hallway up on the second floor to the next room, which has a couple of pats and some guys sitting in chairs in the center. You do not need to kill the sitting guys, nor do you need the guys standing by the fireplace. They are guests- do not drop soul pieces for the repeatables. In fact someone reported some problems when they attacked the sitting people. Just clear around the edge to the right.

The next room is the trickiest, I think. The first time in I agroed 3 mobs. The seond time I found that 2 are named pats (cooks), and they will come out into the hallway. I suggest that you wait for them to come out. This room has food on the table. You can get a one time buff (timed) from the food. I suggest that you wait on eating them until you are ready to use the one way portal to the final boss. The library is to the right.

Final boss fight. There are two mobs just as you go in. Clear and you are then ready. You get agro signals as you walk down between your (potential) rewards, which are in boxes). The first time in, the boss is a multi dot non-elite lvl 38. The second time he can be a 2 dot elite. The elite fight is a multi-step fight where he goes to some orbs periodically to do something, like call those big stone walking guys to attack you. The stone guys keep coming too, and last night I ended up with four at once. The AOE destroyed 3 of the 4 at once. The boss is attackable throughout the fight. Good luck on the drops. Exit through the rear.

Talloc's Hollow:
Taloc's Hollow is a single-user level 51-55 instance and it has a two day lock-out period. You are given a task to help the Elim by cleansing the corruption, which in every other part of Aion consists of going around killing trees. This is different. Here you are transformed into a super avenging bug exterminator, a "Men in Black", an Orkin and Terminix man, and a Starship Trooper going into the tunnels to exterminate Bugs. The closest other thing that I can compare it to in Aion is a combination of Taran's Cave or the spider cave in western Morheim. Most everything that moves in this instance is a 51-52 elite. You go INSIDE of the Elim named Taloc that the bugs have hollowed out (Taloc's Hollow, get it?) and start at the roots and work your way up through the trunk to the top branches.

There has been some bad press of this instance on the forums that it is too easy. Well, that might be true. However, remember that everyone on the PTS at this point is clothed in level 50 rental golds. On the live server, there are plenty of us that at best might have 1 gold piece. There are people that have full time jobs and have spent close to a year getting to level 50. I forsee that when 2.0 goes live, most of the "opportunities" to get gold items from the "old world" will evaporate. These people need something to be able to gear up for the 2.0 expansion area so they are not totally steamrolled by enemies. All the drops seem to be like level 51. This guide is based on two runs through the instance, and in those runs I got a green belt, green staff, green cloth leggings, blue sword, and a gold earring, all level 51. In addition, on the first run I got two stigma stones (unfortunately not for my cleric Nightflower) but they were the top level that go for 3.2 Mil Kinah from the stigma seller. I cut the price to 2 mil and sold them at the broker, and still made 4 mil kinah. Thus, you should look at this instance as a chance to get serviceable accessories , stigma, and kinah to get the gear/stigma you need for your alt. In addition, one of the quests gives you a stigma expansion slot.

Attunement: First you need to be level 51 to get in. Second, as far as quests go, Taloc's Hollow is in the chain of Campaigns that you will have. You enter half-way through the third campaign. The second camgaign is harder, I think, at least for Asmos, than the instance. For Asmodeans, you will need to fight Balaur. The Balaur hit harder than Mack trucks, and I'm not sure how under geared alts will do against them. All I can say is, don't let more than one of them agro you at once. During the 2nd campaign you have to put an orb in place at the Dredgion crash site. I gather that you can "use" the orb anywhere you are as long as the area indicator says you are at the crash site. In the third camgaign (Asmodean) Taloc sends you down in an area to fight air beings and snails (which are pretty ugly). They switch back and forth from air beings to snails, so if you don't see one of them, just wait around.

Walkthrough: You talk to Taloc and enter the instance. Once inside you see him again and he has quests and offers you some items you need to take. One is a two hour power up fruit that gives you 95k HP and 54k MP. The second is the AOE artifact. The fruit also encases you in something that looks like all-over wood armor that makes you look ....strange, lol. Go to the next room. From here on, most everything from the smallest cockroach to the final room-filling boss Celestra is an elite (there are a VERY FEW non-elites that come in packs at you). You don't go very far until you get swarmed, one of them (the bigger spider) will drop your ranged attack artifact. The AOE does 2.5k damage and the ranged does 7k damage. As you proceed, keep an eye out for dirt piles. Getting stuff from the dirt piles is one of the quests. Keep an eye out for the power-up places. The power-up places look sort of like blue aether gathering places. You are buffed so high that "normal" heals/pots don't really do much, so you need these places to power back to full. Go up the ramp to the next room, where you will see three cocoons. You can release one captive, who can then be your helper (but you must ask them first). The one on the right is a cleric and the one in the center is a warrior type. I advise getting the warrior, since I hear that the cleric won't help you unlesss your HP gets really low. The warrior, however, can serve as an off tank for you.

I advise you too look at your map continually, since although it looks straightforward on the map, it can get confusing when you are looking around the tunnels through the normal view. Proceed up to the left and you will come up to the entrance to a room on the right. The entrance is covered over with "sticky webs" that you must break down. Go in to the mini boss in the back and kill him to get the next artifact, a shield. One of the quests is to use these artifacts a certain number of times. You don't have to be fighting anything big to use them, though. If you are going to make it through in under 2 hours you MUST use them all the time. If you look at the map you will see something like a spawning area up on the left. There is a dirt pile there. The tunnel is confusing enough that the main trail is marked on the floor, lol.

Eventually you get to the room with the first boss, who looks like a floating sea cucumber. There is a cut scene where Taloc tells you how to fight him, so I won't repeat it here. Just be sure to clear the other enemies in the front of the room before you take the boss on. To exit the room you have to walk up the tree trunk lying on it's side in the back of the room. You start running into enemies in twos on the tree trunk. Now, the first time I did the instance I didn't see anyone else on the trunk. The second time I saw some guy with a quest there. I delayed to go fight another enemy and when I turned back the quest giver was gone. I suggest trying to get the quest first. I don't know what the quest is. Proceed up the trail.

You start running into some enemies called Komads?, that look like ET made out of water, but who don't have any face. One of them up outside the final boss's room dropped one of those stigma stones I told you about. About the time you see the first Komad you see some watery looking tentacles pushing back and forth on the trail. I timed my run through the tentacles and didn't get hit, but if you look at the "Assualt on Balaurea" trailer it shows the tentacles pushing a hero off the trail (and off a short cliff). Proceed up the trail, and just before the second boss you run into a big spider, who drops the final artifact. This artifact does a sleep on enemies.

The second boss is a giant mosquito that flies around. You get another cut scene from Taloc, who tells you how to get to the final boss. The second boss pats in a circle counterclockwise, just follow her(she lays eggs, so I assume it's a her) around the room and kill the other enemies. These other enemies are some of the few non-elites, so just AOE each group down. You are now ready for the boss fight. You will need to continually use your artifacts, since she keeps laying eggs that hatch, and grow other mosquitoes all the way to adults during the fight. The AOE will keep these in check. To get to the final boss, go to the giant mosquitoe egg in the center of the room and face back down the cooridor you came in. Break the egg and mist starts going up. Get in the mist and hit your space bar to deploy your wings and float up to the next level.

You get up to the next level and find that the mist places your right in the middle of about 7 blue Komads. AOE them down. If you are facing back in the direction of the corridor you came into the mosquitoe room, you should be facing the room where the final boss, Celestra is. Kill a few more Komads to get to the room. The first time through Celestra reached out and jerked me into the room. The final boss fight isn't hard technically, just long. With the HP buff, MP buff, and the artifacts the fight was a cinch. It just took about 5 min to take her down. You probably should only use your normal skill when the artifacts are on cool-down. After the boss fight Taloc appears and you can complete any quests you have with him. He will also teleport you outside the instance. Good luck with the drops!

Aion Online Abyss Splinter Yamennes Painflare Guide

Note: The following guide may not be 100% accurate. It is only based on what I and others saw on our first attempt to kill Yamennes Painflare.

Yamennes Painflare is the last boss in Abyss Splinter. In order to summon him your group must destroy 3/3 of the artifacts found within the instance. This boss is extremely difficult and is only intended for a 12 man lvl 55 geared alliance.

Method 1:
The group setup we had in our first attempt consisted of 4 clerics, 2 chanters, 1 templar, 1 gladiator, 1 SM and 3 rangers. If you have attempted this boss with a different group setup that was efficient, please let me know so that I may add it in here.

Other things to keep in mind and that are extremely important is the terrain you are fighting in. The following picture picks out 3 different spots on the map. These spots have permanent portals, and if a member of your group would click on this portal, he would be teleported to the top, where Yamennes spawns a gate which then spawn adds. These gates must be priority for the DPS and must be taken down ASAP!

Now that we know there are 3 gates, the alliance of 12 members must divide itself accordingly so that at there are at least 2 dps per gate in order to take it down efficiently. Once the groups have been setup (total of 3 groups) each group with their clerics must stand on TOP of the portal! This is extremely crucial because of the following.....

Crystal Collision:
Inflicts heavy damage on the target and all enemies within 6 m of the target, and stuns them for a short while.

When Yamennes is about to cast this spell, it will select a random target and start casting it, the templar must call it out in vent and that person has a total of 4 seconds to run away from his group. If he does NOT run away, the spell will be casted on him and it will spread to the nearby players, hitting 6K dmg per person on his group.

Where would the person run? Look at the following picture;

If everyone is standing on top of the red circle(portal) and not spread out, the person being targeted with Crystal Collision now has more empty space to run to so that only he may get hit. So during those 4 seconds, that person must move onto the green area as shown in the map, away from his and other groups. If done correctly, only that 1 person and the templar should get hit for 6k damage.

Gates:
These gates will spawn every 30 seconds. They will spawn ads which will put a reflect on the boss if not quickly killed. The first gate of the fight, will spawn at the bottom, and like said before, at least 2 dps per gate must be dpsing gate. The 2nd gate will spawn at the top, so players must take the portal to destroy it, and once dead, jump back down to dps the boss.

Crystal Wave:
This spell Inflicts heavy damage on HP and MP of all targets in front. Meaning that, it CANNOT hit anyone in the alliance at all except for the templar. This being said, the templar must face Yamennes away from the groups (Yamennes should be facing 1 of the green spots highlighted in the map). If done right, it will minimize the chance of anyone getting hit by it.

Crushing Paralysis:
When the boss selects a target, and casts this spell, it will paralyze said target for a while. In addition, the target will receive continuous damage and it CANNOT be dispelled. (I am not sure if this skill is AOE or only a target spell)

Resistance:
Last but not least, we have Resistance. This is an instant cast that will make the target bleed but have some resistance to certain physical attacks. This condition cannot be removed by any means.

Method 2:

Notes:
Agro is random. Enfeebling Burst didn't work. Trick is survival, not DPS. Boss uses skills that paralyze, stun, and deal massive damage to HP and MP.

Thoughts:
DPS have a set of weapons with attack and/or crit socketed. (Not sure if this will help on gates.)
All players have a PvE gear set with full HP. Use food items that increase HP.
Chanters use as many of these skills as they have available as often as possible:

Enhancement Mantra

Shield Mantra

Aetheric Field or Ancestral Aetheric Field

Blessing of Stone

Curtain of Aether

Divine Curtain

Elemental Screen

Invincibility Mantra

Word of Inspiration

Word of Protection

Word of Spellstopping

Try having healers use full healing stigma tree for Benevolence, which increases healing boost, but also increases mana usage. Make sure to have plenty of mana recovery skills & items handy. Also use a PvE set that increases healing boost socketed with all HP.

All casters and ranged attackers should be max distance from their target!
Keep alliance in 2 groups so all members can benefit from group heals and chanter buffs as much as possible. (See diagram below!)

I will try to keep the guide updated as i find new things about this boss. As said, I have only attempted him once, and this is what I noticed during this attempt. If you would like to add anything to the guide, please post it so that together we may build a great guide for such a difficult boss!

Aion Online Asmo Leveling Guide

Just thought I'd share my leveling information to let you level as easily as possible =)

Note: /where command should be used regularly if you cannot find an NPC or location.

1-10: Follow the quests in Ishalgen. Once you hit level 9, do your ascension quest FIRST. Go to Munin, go and get the 3 cards, and see your future, get your sub class and go to panda with Munins teleport offer. Go to Heimdall and get the cinematic. Now go down to the great temple and get your official ascension cinematic. Go and get your sub class abilities and your green weapon from the class trainer.

Now go back to Ishalgen, and finish the rest of the quests you have there.

10-22: Go to Altgard from Ishalgen and pick up all the quests you can there. Follow the quest lines untill Lvl 16~17. Now get a group together and run BC untill ~22.

22-25: Quest mainly in Morheim. A BC run here and there won't hurt. If you still havn't completed your level 20 campain quest, you should get that done before continueing.

25-28: Time to go to the Abyss! Complete your training quest, and use the portal above Morheim. Your first order of bussiness should be to get your quest in Reshanta completed to gain access to NTC. Once that is done, you should look for a group to do NTC. Every time NTC is unavailable for whatever reason, go to the little Island RIGHT outside Primum to the west. It has level 26 Balaurs on it. Once you reach level 28, you are no longer able to run NTC, and will be stuck with grinding for alittle while.

28-30: Grinding Balaurs on the islands west of Primum.

30-36: Time to get your FT key. Get a group, or if you're in a legion, get a high level and a healer, and help you through your 3 keys quest. Once it is completed, you will gain the Fire Temple key, which will get you access to FT. Run FT relentlessly untill 36. If FT is unavailable, go to the Upper Abyss and grind on the level 33 balaurs at Sword Island(directly west of Asteria). If 33 is too low for you, go to the Island right below Sword Island on the map, and grind on the undead there.

36-40: Time to run MM! Get a group and get going! Once you're ~lvl 37 or so, get the quests you can at the Silver Mane tribe, which asks you to farm hundreds of Mist Mane Mau Hairs. These can give you some REALLY nice blue boots with 20% speed! Very useful for pvp! When MM is unavailable due to lack of groups, Go and farm on Drakes or Flame Tribe mobs near Miren Fortress.

(NOTE! Should only be used by Rangers, Sorcerers, Spirit Masters, or Clerics: You can farm elites to get all the way to 40 before even running MM if you wish. You can only farm the elites if you're one of the above classes though!

Go here:

It's a hard path! The trick is to avoid as many of the leph mobs as possible! Avoid mobs untill you see a ruined train track leading into a collapsed mine. It has a wooden structure infront of it. Run around the right of it, and wait for patrolling mobs to clear out(if a duo patrol is comming your way, run over and hug the collapsed mine entrance). You should now see a building right across the courtyard, with a warlock and a pretor guard guarding it. If you have CCs, sleep the warlock, root the pretor, and run in(make sure the patrolling Lab Warrior is clear!). You're in!!! This is the best farming spot that I've ever come across, since hardly anyone wanna bother with getting here. You can farm Lab Warriors, Lab Outriders(Stealthed at bottom of ramp), Lab Healers, and Lab Chargers. The rest should be avoided as they're ranged.

There's a narrow walk way above the bottom of the ramp. This is your life beam, the mobs can't reach you there! It is also what you should use when a mob gets close to you. When they do, run across the ramp and resume DPS. This can be a slow process for level 36-37s, but the 300k xp per kill is worth it! At level 38 my sorc could kill the warriors in 2min 30sec, and the lab outriders in 1m 25sec. Due to fear, I think SMs can kill even faster.

40-~45: Run SR and MM, though MM should now be put on the shelf alittle. If you still havnt gotten the boots by now, go ahead and buy the rest on the broker unless they're rediculously expensive.

At this level, SR Mid becomes available. Do the quests the lead to it, they begin at the right side of the airship docks. A small shugo ship is docked there, with one shugo standing next to it, and 3 shugos standing in triangle formation further in on the platform. This is where the quest begins. Once you're done with the quests, you should gain access to the Wine quest, and the Hat quest(Ignore the wine quest, the huge expense required for it is NOT worth the gold shoulders you recieve for your troubles). The hat quest however, is VERY good to run. It begins with the shugo standing right next to the staircase that leads from Primum to the airship docks. Turn it in 30 times, and you get a REALLY nice gold hat!!!

45~49: SR U/L.

Aion Online 99 Cube Inventory Slots Guide

Dont take me wrong but ive had 99 slots for some time now and it surprised me that some people still do not! Right now, I’m working my way through a few different Aion guides, but I’ve got to be honest with you – only one of them thus far has shown itself to be even remotely as effective as it claims.

What Aion Mastery Claims to Do
So, here’s the deal. Unlike a few other guides out there, Aion Mastery tries to cover just about everything you’ll need when you start playing the game. That means it includes an Elyos and Asmodian leveling guide as well as a Kinah guide to get you up to the numbers most players are aiming for (at least, the numbers I’m aiming for).

But, do those guides actually provide everything you need? Most of the time, when I look these kinds of things up, I find that they are loaded up with easy to find, free information from the Internet. But, this time around, I have to say, this guy did his homework. He didn’t just load up on free info and vague quest details. He shows you exactly how to get through everything you need up to level 50 and to 1 million Kinah (and beyond).

I don’t usually keep using these guides after I’ve given them their fair due either, but with Aion Mastery, I think I’ll still be playing this game for weeks and months to come using the guides provided. They’re that good.

Getting the Most Out of Aion Mastery
In the end, Aion Mastery is the best looking new guide for the top new MMO out there. I hate to sound too much like a commercial, but the truth is that I can’t find a single guide out there that provides as much info, as fast a leveling path, and as detailed of strategies as Aion Mastery. It gets the job done and then some.

If you’re looking for a good Aion guide, you ought to check this thing out – it’s well worth your time.

The Truth Behind Aion Mastery

Aion came out,a few years ago, but along with it came a slew of new game guides that promised all sorts of crazy things. In the long run, I haven’t been all that impressed with what they’ve had to offer. But, I’m always game to try out new ones because I know eventually someone will figure it out.

So, now that we have the newest Aion guide on our desks in Aion Mastery, I’m actually pretty excited to tell you that I’ve uncovered what is probably the first really good Aion guide. Before I start gushing though, let me show you exactly why this thing stands out.

Using the Guide

First off, I don’t normally play games with guides. But, even I’m considering giving Aion a shot with this thing. The game is much more in-depth and harder than the existing games I’ve been playing for so many years. WoW is a cakewalk next to the grinding you’re doing in this thing, so a guide is an awesome resource for just that reason.

I started the guide out around Level 11, where one of my alts had started. In a matter of minutes I had the gist of how to use the guide and was well on my way to level 12 and beyond. It took me only the rest of the week to reach Level 30. I’ve only been using the guide for the last 2 weeks, but I’m already Level 36 and am grinding strong, well on my way to the top.

That said, I like to have enough Kinah in my bags to afford everything I need along the way. That’s where Aion Mastery really stands out, by offering the old guide package with Kinah making strategies built in. And, considering how new the guide is, these strategies are pretty fantastic.

The Bottom Line

I didn’t expect to find a truly good Aion guide this early on after the game came out, but with Aion Mastery we have one. And the best part is that it is being updated nearly constantly as the game progresses and new strategies are uncovered. So, even if you’re not finding quite enough strategies as an Armorcrafter now, in a couple weeks, you’ll be set. I cannot recommend Aion Mastery enough – this thing really gets the job done.

How Many Kinah Guides Do We Need?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve grown a bit tired of the constant flow of new guides that seems to hit the Internet whenever a new MMO is released. When the game is first released, it is usually days or even weeks before a god guide is released and that makes it much harder for the casual player to find a guide that actually works, rather than being filled with beta information and broken tips.

So, the release of the Aion Kinah Guide didn’t necessarily excite me right away. Luckily, I continued to read beyond the title page and found that one of the first truly useful guides for Aion may have finally hit the market. For that reason, I want to share with you what I’ve found and how it might be able to help you play this game better.

To start with, the Aion Kinah Guide, is written by someone who knows this game well. They have been playing it for a while and have spent a lot of time farming in the game. I’ll be frank and say that I wish there were more Abyss tips in here, but I can imagine, coming off the beta that that they will be released in due time. No one had gotten much time in the Abyss before official release afterall.

And honestly, it doesn’t really matter because the rest of this guide does everything it needs to do and much more. From showing the basics of every craft, lists of high level crafts to make Kinah with, enchantment stones, manastones, coin quests, named mobs to hunt, and much much more.

Making Kinah in this guide is not the same as it is in other MMOs and the Aion Kinah Guide doesn’t pretend that it is. Rather, the author focuses on what actually works in Aion, while showing you exactly what you need to do to boost your Private Store and Trade Broker efforts to the levels needed for those millions to start rolling in. My opinion? This guide is definitely worth your time.

Arena of Discipline

Yesterday i was with my Assasin in the Arena of Discipline and i find something out :). They come in all shapes and forms and while the first few rounds of them were almost all leveling guides, the recent trend is for Kinah guides. I was never a fan of early release currency guides because they tend to give you a bunch of farming locations that won’t work in three weeks. So, with the Aion Kinah Guide, the newest one of these guides located at AionKinahGuide.com, are we getting yet another early release scam or is it the real deal?

Analyzing the Guide
To start with, let’s take a look at what the Aion Kinah Guide promises. It doesn’t promise the moon like so many other guides. It’s pretty to the point and showcases mostly methods to utilize the in-game systems like the Private Store and Trade Broker for Kinah rather than to load up on farming locations.

That’s not to say that it doesn’t provide plenty of good farming locales, but they tend to be fewer than the number of crafting and hunting strategies. To me, this is a great thing. This is not a farming game. It is a crafting and trading game. That was how it was designed and that is how it should be played. Everyone can farm their own materials and mobs are almost all centralized in the Abyss when it comes to rare, valuable items, so what point is there in farming out in the other zones?

How Does it Work?
So, when I started putting these strategies into effect, I didn’t expect too much, but I was a little excited because it was the kind of Kinah guide I was looking for. And boy was I ever satisfied with the end result.

After spending about three days playing with this guide, I had already made over 5 million Kinah. That was at Level 42 and now I’m drawing in well over that with far less work. The truth about this guide is that it does everything it says it will and it does it all extremely well. If you’re serious about being a high level in-game trader and crafter in Aion, then the Aion Kinah Guide is the only resource you should have on your desktop.

Check out the guide here your self

Three Quick Tips for Easy Kinah in Aion

Kinah is the equivalent of gold currency in the new MMO, Aion. When you get started in the game, you will have only a couple of hundred Kinah and then will need to boost your way up to hundreds of thousands or even millions of the little coins so that you can boost your way to the top of the game and get the highest level items out there.

Just your Level 30 wings along will cost you 1 million Kinah and the costs only go up from there, so if you do not properly balance and prepare yourself for everything you need when you get to the top of the leveling chart, you’re going to be very far behind.

1. Choosing the Right Craft

The first thing you will do at Level 10 is choose your craft. That craft can be one of 6 different options including Armorcrafting, Alchemy, Cooking, Tailoring, Handicrafting, or Weaponcrafting. Gathering is just one skill and anyone can use it, so you should make sure to max out your extraction skill as you level - all the way up to 399 at level 50.

The best professions for Kinah making are the ones that are going to be high in demand at all times. Early in the game’s life span that means Handicrafting, Armorcrafting, Tailoring and Weaponcrafting. However, as more players reach level 50 and start running instances and the Abyss, you will find that Alchemy and Cooking become very popular as well.

2. Using the Private Store Feature Properly

The private store is a very unique, highly effective way to sell of your crafted goods, farmed greens and blues, and all the other rare items you can land while hunting. The best way to use your Private Store though is to specialize in one type of item that you can put all your efforts into farming on. Then, find a good place to set up shop, outside of instances or in various towns and villages and stake out a good time to log on. If you can put yourself in front of eager buyers at the right time, you can make some great profits.

3. Buying and Selling at the Trade Broker

The trade broker is the Aion equivalent of the Auction house and can be a very useful tool for making sales on your items. You get 8 days per listing and it will cost you Kinah to load those items up into the broker. Use the broker to buy up cheap and valuable items and resell them for top profits when they are in higher demand.

This is just one set of ways that you can make serious Kinah in Aion. If you’re truly serious about making some good hard cash in the game, you can also go about getting it by loading up on the different huntable mobs in the game. This might include anything from the rare named mobs in high level areas to the basic drops you can get from any of the Balaur mobs located in the Abyss. Whatever you decide to do, every aspect of your gameplan should revolve around getting more Kinah as fast as possible.

One of the guides for AION that I have found to be the best, is available right here.

Aion Easy Way to Farm AP for your guilds

Get a toon thats level 18-22

Go to last hamster boss before haramel

Farm is for animal fossils

The fossils cant be traded but you can always easily use them to help your new guild that is after more ap.

AIon AP farming

I have been testing this out trying to find a way to farm some nice AP. I dont know what you call nice. I have 2 accounts, if you take as many alts into a rift to an easy to get to but hidden location and log them all out in the same spot. Then get on your other account/ faction and take a character over there. ( I am using all lvl 20-30 chars) Log in on a character kisk... have your AP farmer kill him 5 times. once a minute. ONLY 5 times. then log out and back in on another toon.

repeat until all chars are killed 5 times. that will get you at lvl 20 500-700 AP per toon. I use 3 toons right now. so 5minutes get 1500-2100AP. log all your alts off get back on your main for 4 hours or so and bam so it again.

I am going to test later if you can wait an hour, but at the moment because of testing 6 kills My toon is not able to get AP lol.

Abyss Elite farming

Lookin to farm some 50 elite balaur or Elyos/Asmo.

Look no further then a perfect grind spot.

Needed -- ranged class ( I use SM)
GO to Asteria Fort and fly to the center platform (There is no Sniper there)

There are no non-elites inside the compound there are Fortress Gallowglasses (Spellcheck)

also on both sides there is a ramp that leads back up to the top. Pull the gallowglass and prepare for a cleave ranged attack. Heal dodge or stone skin if you dont want to get hurt but it will not kill you. After this just run up the ramp and slowly burn this guy down. if he gets close jump back to bottom and keep killing. When he gets back to the bottom root, fear or slow and run back up. This is a nice way to lvl. My SM was 42 killing these 50 elites. All magic acc manastones. 800-1.3mil exp depending on buffs and balaur drops.

Happy AP/XP/Balic grinding.

Bug Items Value To Nothing

This is working on gamezaion so far so its going to work on most private servers but i doubt it will work on public servers here are the directions for how you can get it working.

Open Cheat Engine

aion.bin

go to shop (Crucible shop, Abyss Shop)

Put one item in the first slot "just one"

go to Cheat Engine "First scan number 1"

add more one

scan for "2"

repeat it and when u got only one value is time for bug ^^

Part 2

1º Chante to "text"
2º and put this value FFFFFFFF F(if u get red number or big number, try use another value)
you got negative numbers and u can buy many things for nothing

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I dont even bother fighting the rest of the zone, I just train it.

When you get to that room with the wooden lift in it, you can jump over the railing of the ramp and glide over to one of the floors of the central lift, thereby dropping the first half of the instance. If you want, you can grab the lube and key off the mechanics and keymaster and open the rusty box -- sometimes you get a crit manastone out of the rusty box which, on my server at least, it worth a good amount and is good for new players.

Otherwise, I jump off the tower and glide into the hallway leading to the second half, past the fighters and farmers and onto the lift leading to the rock ledge. This may take some time, since once youre on this lift you can use skills but the stupid hamsters will still attack you as the lift ascends, but once the lift reaches the top the mobs reset.

From there I kill the jailor in the door blocking my way, then Boss Nunak-whatever its name is lol. I break his hammer for the enhancement and may or may not do Haramel depending on what I feel like, if I want more stuff for enhancement stones.

Just training like this doesn't give much xp and I have close to 30 animal fossils now. Can't trade em to a main but its great if youre part of a new guild thats working on building ap.

Aion Guides - Newbie Guide On Setting Up The DPS Meter

This is a basic guide on how to set up the ACT DPS Meter for Aion.

To install the DPS Meter, follow this guide: Damage Parsing in Aion - vilemagra.com. Once you've done everything there, follow these steps to set it up for in game:

*Please note the program was originally made for another game, the options I'm showing here are selected for a reason, other ones may not work*

First select the "Table Setup" tab and choose whatever options you want (remember the chat window is only so wide, so don't choose too many if you want to post it in game).

Go to the "Selective Parsing" tab and select "Only record combat actions taken by/against listed". Then manually add in the names of all your party members, including an entry called "You" for yourself. *Note - because the program was made for another game, healing done counts as damage, so if you want to have an option for Damage % Done, then do not add healers*

Next go to the "General Options" tab and select the "Ending Encounters" list. Set it to stop recording 1 second. This means if during a fight you go 1 second without attacking it will end that encounter and create a new one when you attack again. You can set it longer if you want it to be more precise for each mob fight, but that also means when the mob dies, it will record 0 damage for however many seconds you set the option at, so it will lower your dps significantly if you set it too high. *Choosing another option like "You gain experience" will not work*

Now to paste it in game, go to the Main tab, on the left hand side select "All" to get the average data for all encounters, right click anywhere on the main window and select "Copy as Formatted Plain Text".

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1329x332.

Now go in game, open up your macros and paste that text into a macro, then simply right click the macro. (Anything with a % attached to it won't show up, because that is an in game command, so for example I just erase DAMAGE% and replace it with PERCENT).

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1366x768.

This way you don't have to wait that 1-2seconds to try again. Its really useful when other people are trying to ninja the next attempt from you.
