BO Betrays His Base—The Young

This is laughable and I totally expected it.

To the 66% of the young, and relatively ignorant, that drove BO to office based on the notion of Hope and Change. All of you are about to be repaid with the highest tax increase in history. This is aimed directly at you. How’s that for a “thank you”.

That’s what you get from someone who is a socialist, a racist and hates this country. (Yes I said it. Political Correctness is what caused the Fort Hood shooting. Time to stop the crap and tell the truth)

What the young did not know, because they are young and don’t get it, is that they were used and then kicked to the curb.

The young will carry this healthcare cost. It’s true. The ones who believe in BO and think there IS a free lunch and FREE money are really getting a wake up call. (this is discussed in the second video). Well, unless you are of a favored group. If you expected all the entitlements to be handed to you on a silver platter, WAKE UP. There’s a huge cost and that’s what you don’t seem to understand.

This is totally unconstitutional but it’s the young, and uninformed, that wanted everything for free that are getting screwed for supporting their “hero”

Wake up, he only used you and will continue to use you. When he’s done he’ll kick you to the curb. If this is what you want, well good for you. Move and take him with you.

African-American community into the mainstream.

Governments,
businesses and colleges have engaged in
discrimination against white folks -- with
affirmative action, contract set-asides and
quotas -- to advance black applicants over white
applicants. Churches,
foundations, civic groups, schools and
individuals all over America have donated their
time and money to support soup kitchens, adult
education, day care, retirement and nursing
homes for blacks.

We hear
the grievances.

Where
is the gratitude??

Barack
talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for
blacks. Let him go to Altoona!! And
Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic
schools how many were visited lately by Ivy
League recruiters handing out scholarships for
'deserving' white kids!! Is white
America really responsible for the fact that the
crime and incarceration rates for
African-Americans are seven times those of white
America? Is it really
white America's fault that illegitimacy in
the African-American community has hit 70
percent and the black dropout rate from high
schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that
the fault of white America or, first and
foremost, a failure of the black community itself?

As for
racism, its ugliest manifestation is in
interracial crime, and especially interracial
crimes of violence. Is Barack
Obama aware that while white criminals
choose black victims 3 percent of the time,
black criminals choose white victims 45 percent
of the time?

Is Barack
aware that black-on-white rapes are 100
times more common than the reverse, that
black-on-white robberies were 139 times as
common in the first three years of this
decade as the reverse?

We have
all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al
about Tawana Brawley, the Duke
rape case and Jena. And all turned out to
be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black
assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.

Sorry,
Barack, some of us have heard it all before,
about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.

Here’s an interesting and disturbing tidbit about Hasan.

Ft. Hood shooter reached out to Al Qaeda

The dirtbag who went on a killing spree in Ft. Hood apparently reached out to contact Al Qaeda terrorists. According to ABC News a radical mosque leader named Anwar al Awlaki posted a blog titled "Nidal Hassan Did the Right Thing," and Awlaki calls Hasan a "hero" and a "man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people." Radical terrorists are his 'own people?' Frightening. Now the inevitable investigation begins - what did the CIA know and when did they know it? READ

And another piece of info that might make you wonder what the hell is going on.

Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush quietly visited the wounded from the Ft. Hood massacre on Friday. Barack Obama mentioned the attack at the end of some comments he made at a conference and on Saturday, Obama headed out to Camp David for a little R&R. Bush visits Ft. Hood, Obama goes to Camp David. What is wrong with this picture? Even more troubling, is there an Obama, Hassan connection?

It has been a bit disconcerting that the President of the United States has seemed so terribly disengaged from a terrorist attack on a military base in the heartland of the United States. On American soil. He gave some lip service to the ‘horrific outburst of violence’ at the end of some comments he made at the end of the Tribal Nation Conference on the day of the attack. He warned people to not ‘jump to conclusions’ - you know, like he did when a white police officer was doing his job and got cussed out by one of Obama’s friends and they all ended up having to have a ‘beer summit’ with the President to improve race relations. Yeah, don’t jump to conclusions like he does.

Of course, the reason he warned about jumping to conclusions is that it turns out that the Army Major is a Muslim with a Muslim name. Major Nidal Malik Hasan. He’s the alleged perpetrator, traitor and enemy combatant who cornered a large crowd of unarmed Soldiers in the Soldier Readiness Center at Ft. Hood in Killeen, Texas.

Okay, so we won’t jump to conclusions, Mr. President. But the question remains, why has the president shown so little interest in an attack being perpetrated by an enemy combatant on a military base on American soil? Why the downplaying? Rationalizing it away? Giving his family in Palestine a voice via American media outlets to decry the Global War on Terrorism? The spin seems to be that he’s disgruntled, mistreated by his peers for being Muslim, scared of being deployed. Yada-yada.

The other side to that story comes from virtually everyone else who tells us that he initiated arguments with peers at work, couldn’t relate to the Soldiers he was ‘treating’ at Walter Reed Hospital and apparently told everyone within listening distance that he was ‘Muslim first, American second.’ He also made statements to many people that he viewed an attack on an Army recruitment center as justified and that muslims should take up arms against American troops.

This is NOT a disgruntled, mistreated guy who was picked on because he’s Muslim. This is an enemy combatant and a traitor to the United States. . .

Judge Napolitano and Dr. David Janda discuss the Healthcare bill by Pelosi. Not only does it violate the Hippocratic Oath its essential core is rationing and complete and total control over physicians and the system.

House Dems add billions in higher spending for public health after Pelosi said bill cost would remain under $900B.

While the Congressional Budget Office has put the cost of expanding coverage in the legislation at roughly $1 trillion, Democrats added billions more on higher spending for public health, a reinsurance program to hold down retiree health costs, payments for preventive services and more.

HOA Setting Stage for Increases

Just got the HOA newsletter and what do I find? The HOA only has $600 in savings.

Reason: several houses haven't paid their dues in years and even more are not current. They say they've done everything to collect the seriously delinquent debt. I wonder how much all the legal fees, filing fees and/or retainer fees this is costing. Not to mention the liens (if placed) that have to be renewed on a regular basis.

Truth is, if folks don't want to pay they won't. Some can't and some just won't

The solution presented is a special assessment or increase in fees. Great idea!!! That's called redistribution of wealth. Sorry, I'm tired of fees going up and not sure why. I don't think I should pay for others who choose not to. Sounds like Obamanomics to me.

My suggestion is cut the budget. First off get rid of the property management company. If people really want an HOA then run it yourself. That's the way it used to be. Then the Nazis came for us.

Seriously, the amount paid to the property management company has got to be ridiculous. Like I said, if you want an HOA that bad, run it yourself.

Raising fees is not the answer. I am not willing to pay for other folks. My tax dollars do that already. I am not saying I will stop paying dues but . . .

The letter also mentions the HOA could go bankrupt if we don't do something. Sounds like Rahm's "never let an emergency go to waste" message. I say you are not too big to fail. Go bankrupt. I don't want the HOA anyway.

For those few that use the pool and tennis courts; charge admission and take care of it yourself.

Let the HOA fail. I am against any more fees or assessments.This is not the time to charge more money. County taxes went up and city tax bills have been mailed.

Keep it up and even more folks will stop paying.

Here’s the highlights and some reference pages to get your started. The pages I have listed I have read and Rep. Bachmann is correct in her assertions.

Do you think you can keep your own insurance? Nope, sure can’t. Read pages 91-95. You will not be able to purchase private healthcare insurance after said effective date. You WILL be forced into single payer system.

This is also known as SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. This is the late night adult dream of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Millions of jobs will be lost. This was stated by Dr. Christina Romer.

"Other studies have painted an even more troubling picture of the Democrats’ planned government takeover of our health care system. Based on a model developed by Council of Economic Advisors Chair Christina Romer, it is estimated that some 4.7 million jobs could be lost as a result of taxes on businesses that cannot afford to provide health insurance coverage.” Click here for the full article

Employer Mandate Excise Tax (Page 275): If an employer does not pay 72.5% of a single employee’s health premium, the employer must pay an excise tax equal to 8% of average wages.

Individual Mandate Surtax (Page 296): If an individual fails to obtain qualifying coverage, he must pay an income surtax equal to the lesser of 2.5% of modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) or the average premium.

Medicine Cabinet Tax (Page 324): Non-prescription medications would no longer be able to be purchased from health savings accounts (HSAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), or health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs). Insulin excepted.

Cap on FSAs (Page 325): FSAs would face an annual cap of $2500 (currently uncapped).

Section 2531, entitled “Medical Liability Alternatives,” establishes an incentive program for states to adopt and implement alternatives to medical liability litigation. [But]…… a state is not eligible for the incentive payments if that state puts a law on the books that limits attorneys’ fees or imposes caps on damages.

Democrat leadership in the House wants to pass a government run health care bill before Veteran's Day, and it's up to us to make sure this prescription for socialized medicine doesn't pass.

If you can come to Washington to look your Member straight in the eye and tell them to keep their hands off your health care, do it. If you can't make it to Washington, go to your Member's district office. And, if you can't do that at least call and email.

Also, Americans for Prosperity is organizing a House Call to legislators district offices on Thursday at noon, and I encourage you to check out their website at www.americansforprosperity.org to see how you can take part in their efforts if you can't make it to D.C.

Baxter The Therapy Dog Dies at 19

This post is more important than what I had planned. First and foremost I am an animal lover.

Baxter the Therapy Dog, a San-Diego-area Chow/Lab mix who spent years providing care and comfort to humans at the end of life, died last Friday at the age of 19.

Many of those who knew Baxter believe that it was his own ailments that made him such a powerful companion to hospice patients.

Spend a few moments with Baxter.

At age 19 years and 6 months, Baxter eased peacefully from his life on October 16th, 2009. See and feel the magic of Baxter in this video tribute.

The details have unfolded on our sib-blog, Prescriptions. Mr. Herszenhorn writes:

I’m not saying squat! Just watch this and ask yourself WHY do so many folks expect a hand out. WHY, can’t some of these people pull themselves up by the bootstraps? WHY, do these folks demand something they are not working for. The population of those who really need help have been stomped in the ground by the money grubbers who only want a hand out. God forbid they would get up and get themselves together.

We need to help those who are in dire straights; Not those that are just looking for a handout and free cash. Those folks don’t give a damn about all of us that are strapped to the max and still supporting them.

Take a look. Who’s looking for the free bucks and overwhelming the system. Do they look elderly or infirm to you?

You mention free cash (at our expense) and they come out of the woodwork.

What’s pathetic is the people who overran the place caused the people who really needed the help to get lost in the mess.

They need to get up and get together and make their own way. This country is the country of oppotunity not free handouts because you think someone owes you something. Help is there but it’s not FREE!

Shelter Pet Project

Here’s some more info about me and my shelter animals. Below are pictures (the ones I have—so many were lost due to circumstances) of some of my best friends that I helped to have a better life.

Chaz—Was just one of the many retired racing greyhounds that I had. I owned Chaz and fostered many others. Chaz was precious as most retired racing greyhounds are. I had to find a new home for him because greyhounds are very social and love their own kind. Being an only dog and I was not home all the time became to much for him to bear. His anxiety was overwhelming. So, I found him a new home that already had a greyhound (George Bush). They got along famously. Perfect solution.

This is not the most attractive picture of Chaz but it’s the only I have left. Sad, but I do have my memories and I will never forget him.

Next up is my brother’s dog. I was at PetSmart, in San Antonio, and they were having an adoption fair. The minute I saw this funny looking, fat, roly poly puppy I knew it would be the one for Daryl. The pup was lab and Dane mix. You can only imagine.

I called Daryl and he came out. It was love at first sight. The pup was adopted and became Luke. Luke lived almost 10 years. He became a severe diabetic and no matter how hard my brother and the vets tried they could not control him. He lost the use of his limbs and his life had lost all quality. My brother made the tough decision. But, Luke, had a wonderful life and will be sorely missed.

Next is my little guy. He wasn’t officially a shelter dog. He was a stray. He was about 5 years old. I had him for about 4 more years. He died in his sleep. Never knew what happened but he will always have a piece of my heart.

Here’s Mr. Peanut or as he was called most often “Pooter” He’s surrounded by his toys. He had to be taught to appreciate toys and once he figured it out, he owned them. He would always gather them up in one area and stay right there with all of them. He loved toys.

Now of course most of you know my two furbabies that currently live with me. They are both shelter pets and were adopted from the Animal Defense League in San Antonio.

Here’s both of them together. That doesn’t happen very often :-)

No time to delve very deeply in to the travesty that is our government. But, here’s some tidbits that you should pay attention to.

First off this video from the Glenn Beck show is fast paced and is his opening monologue. But, listen closely to the news items he lists. Write them down and go dig up the story. I honestly don’t have the time right now. But, listen and go find out what the hell is going on.

Pay attention and listen more than once to make sure you hear what’s going on and then Speak Without Fear!!!

It's been a few months since Treasury Secretary Timothy "Tax Cheat" Geithner came under fire for his failing to report income on his tax returns. Now, another high ranking democrat is under fire for similar failings. Today, House members voted to allow Congressman Charlie Rangel to maintain his powerful leadership position despite ethics investigations into recent tax returns. "Maybe we need a constitutional amendment that allows democrats to cheat on their taxes, " joked Sean. We might as well, it doesn't seem these guys are punished anyway. The Speaker floats a middle-class tax hike.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admits that Democrats may have to impose a huge new tax on the middle class to fund their spending ambitions, believe her.

Speaking with PBS's Charlie Rose on Monday, Mrs. Pelosi mused publicly about the rising possibility of enacting a value-added tax, or VAT, as part of broader tax reform. "Somewhere along the way, a value-added tax plays into this," she said. "Of course, we want to take down the health-care cost, that's one part of it.
