What is the full form of IRNSS-1A?

IRNSS stands for Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System. 1A depicts that it’s the first of seven IRNSS series.

The constellation will consist of four satellites in geosynchronous orbits inclined at 29 degrees, with three more in geostationary orbit. IRNSS-1A is one of the geosynchronous satellites, and is expected to be positioned at a longitude of 55 degrees east.

The IRNSS-1A satellite is based on the I-1K satellite bus and has a fuelled mass of 1,425 kilograms (3,141 lb), or a dry mass of 614 kg (1,354 lb).

It is powered by two solar arrays, which generate up to 1,660 watts of power. The spacecraft is expected to operate for ten years.

Monday’s launch, which marked the twenty-fourth flight of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, was designated as flight number C22.

IRNSS-1A launched midnight Monday

Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota has illuminated once again last night to project a remarkable satellite IRNSS-1A from India. It is a first dedicated navigation satellite using the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle which India has launched on Monday night.

Why IRNSS-1A is important?

IRNSS-1A – Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System - (satellite) will provide terrestrial, aerial and marine navigation services in the situation of disaster like Rishikesh tragedy, Tsunami etc. and will also be help full in fleet management.

Two types of services IRNSS will provide:

Standard positioning service and restricted service.

The former is provided to all users and
The later is an encrypted service for authorized users.

According to ISRO officials – IRNSS-1A will be able to provide accurate positioning information services within the country and upto 1,500 km periphery of India. The satellite has life span of 10 years which is one of the seven satellites of IRNSS space segment – a specialized regional navigational system developed by India.

16 August 2011 - I cited the whole India altogether fighting against India and if it really goes like this than The Judgement Day is no far from the success what we are going to have.

From all corners of India, not only metros even many small towns were came onto the road along with Anna wearing a cap - "I am Anna" - written on that. Protest has now been turned into a silent fire which has only one solution - Corruption-free India.

After a long time I've seen such crowd altogether came onto the road for a similar reason instead of supporting Cricket Team. Obviously, it's a BIG REASON than anything else important in our life so far.

Latest - Anna hasn't agreed to be released from the jail.

In Indore, a silent rally was formed.

In Bhopal, one social activist was short dead from point blank range in front of her house - no reason found yet.

Lets pray for upcoming days.

This is very sad day for Indian History that Govt. itself is trying to hide corrupt leaders across the India.

Just after a day of Independence (i.e. 15 August) NO-ONE is feeling like Independent. I swear if Gandhi ji would have been alive today he would've killed himself by seeing his own generation is ruling India - not democratically - by dictatorship.

Anna Hazare - the 74 yrs. old an OLD guy who has no interest in his personal life now stands in against of CORRUPTION - take my word - in against of CORRUPTION not in against of Indian Govt. has now detained/stopped by ruling party - CONGRESS for 7 days in Tihar Jail.

Now, this is the stage where we have to be altogether and join this protest - LIKE I DID!

Technology is growing at the rate of E = mc2 but it has been awful that many of our B-school students doesn't even know the world's biggest platform of advertisement i.e. Google's programs - Adword and Adsense.

Few months ago, I've finished MBA in IT & Marketing and as I said that - not even a single student was aware about these two programs (The Google's Revenue Models). And the day has come when Mr. Chand Narayan (one of the Professor @ college) asked about Google revenue model, surprisingly no one answered. Well, you would think the heading of Ad manager and I started my own story. I was just trying to draw an attention that the gap between among ourselves has been developed.

At the same pace Google has introduced their new plugin that empowers the advertisers and publishers (not completely as advertisers do).

This plugin gives extra template and color facilities to the advertisers, through which an advertiser can match their expectation with the revenue generation by handling various successful Ad campaign. It is quite tricky to install but yet simple. For more details...Click Here.

A technique of Content Management System (CMS) written in PHP. It is a free open source and used as a back-end system for many different types of websites, ranging from small personal blogs to large corporate and political sites.

This new technique has many features same as other ones like :

Ability to register
Maintain individual user accounts,
Administration menus,
RSS-feeds,
customizable layout,
flexible account privileges,
Logging,
A blogging system,
An Internet forum, and
Options to create a classic brochureware website* or an interactive community website.

*A brochureware website is a business website that has very infrequently updated content. Often the site has been developed as a direct translation of existing printed promotional materials, hence the name. A global study of 17,000 active Internet users across 29 countries, one of India's largest media service agencies, says that the rise of social media - which includes social networking sites like Orkut and Facebook and blogs - 'digital friends' (like pen pals of yesteryears) and proliferation of Internet channels like photo and video sharing sites are changing the landscape. In India, actively influenced categories include consumer electronics, cellphone services, travel options.

Yahoo boss disappointed after Google calls off

Jerry Yang, the chief executive of Yahoo, felt let down by Google's decision to pull out of an advertising agreement between the two internet rivals.

The $800m (£500m) deal, which would have enabled Google to sell advertising on some parts of Yahoo's search engine listings, had been subject to a formal investigation by the US department of justice over potential monopoly concerns. Google decided on Wednesday that it would pull the plug on the agreement.

"It was disappointing to us that they didn't want to defend this deal," said Yang, speaking at the Web 2.0 summit in San Francisco. "We were going through a process with the department of justice to get them to understand how this was a good deal."

Yang insisted that the deal - if it had gone through - would have allowed both companies to benefit from exploiting each other's weaknesses, rather than increase Google's dominance in the search engine market. "It's incredibly important to participate and compete for the search marketplace ... in fact, we are doing better in search today than when this whole thing started," he said. "I really thought that the government, in this case, does not understand our industry and has a market definition that is too narrow."

Chandrayaan Leaves Earth's Gravitational Area

On Tuesday became the first Indian-built spacecraft to leave the earth’s gravity and head towards the moon.
It accomplished this significant milestone in its journey when it entered the lunar transfer orbit with an apogee of 3,80,000 km after its on-board engine fired for two and a half minutes from 4.56 a.m. The spacecraft will cross the 3,80,000 km-mark, that is reach the vicinity of the moon, on November 8. The moon is 3,84,000 km from the earth. Chandrayaan-1 is India’s dedicated science mission to study it in detail.
M. Annadurai, Project Director, Chandrayaan-1, said: “The spacecraft is in lunar transfer orbit. Everything is normal. We will do the lunar insertion manoeuvre of the spacecraft on November 8. We are working for the spacecraft to reach its final lunar orbit on November 15.”
On the mission, Mr. Annadurai said, “everything is proceeding as per plan. We will continue to monitor and track the spacecraft.”
En route to the moon, Chandrayaan-1 will take pictures of the lunar surface with the help of its scientific instrument called the Terrain Mapping Camera (TMC). The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has already switched on the TMC, which has beamed down pictures of the earth.
Commands for the crucial manoeuvre of putting Chandrayaan-1 in the lunar transfer orbit were radioed from the Spacecraft Control Centre, the nerve-centre of the operations now, located at the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bangalore. ISTRAC can control the two massive bowl-shaped antennas, with diameters of 32 metres and 18 metres, at Byalalu village, 40 km away. These antennas keep a tab on Chandrayaan-1’s journey to the moon.
S.K. Shivakumar, ISTRAC Director, said: “Chandrayaan-1 is on the way to the moon now. Its apogee will be 3,80,000 km. It is the first Indian-built spacecraft to leave the earth’s gravity. It has enough escape-velocity to leave the earth’s gravity.”
When the spacecraft approaches the moon on November 8, the Spacecraft Control Centre will beam commands for inserting Chandrayaan-1 into the lunar orbit and it will be attracted by the moon’s gravity. On November 15, it will be lowered into its final orbit when it will start circling the moon over its poles at an altitude of 100 km. The spacecraft was in good shape, Mr. Shivakumar said. The 32-metre and 18-metre antennas were “very much tracking” it.

Land of West Bengal waiting big Gaint Arcelor Mittal

After a controversial chapter of TATA NANO with West Bengal now world's largest steel producer ArcelorMittal has approached West Bengal government for land at Rajarhat in the state, as it wants to set up an office there.

Mr. L N Mittal, Owner of big Gaint, is very interested to setup a central office in Rajarhat near the city, for which the has sought land from the state government.

Before this, telecom giant Airtel and ICICI Bank had also approached the government for land at Rajarhat. Mittal was in the process of setting up greenfield plants in Orissa and Jharkhand.

Rate of land per acre at Rajarhat was risen day by day and right now it is Rs seven crore. Housing was a major problem in the state and that the government was taking steps to set up satellite townships at Dankuni, Domjur and Baruipur.

Bhattacharjee said since the government alone would not be able to provide housing for all, the PPP (public-private partnership) model was an ideal alternative.

Near to the moon - Chandrayan 1 within 500 km

Chandrayaan-1 has been orbiting earth in an elliptical orbit at 2,67,000 km apogee and 465 km perigee since 29 October.

Chandrayan 1 - India's first unmanned lunar spacecraft, moved closer to the moon today, when it broke free from it elliptical orbit around the earth, speeding into deep space towards the moon. This was disclosed by a top space agency official.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) director S. Satish told that position of the spacecraft at about 500 km from the moon's surface and over 3,84,000 km away from the earth."

"Additional velocity will be given to the spacecraft to enter the lunar orbit Saturday (Nov 8) for a rendezvous with the moon. With calibrated firing of its LAMs, it will be inserted into its designated orbit, which will be about 100 km from the lunar surface.

In the present orbit, Chandrayaan has taken six days to go round the earth once. The spacecraft performance is being monitored closely and its health parameters are normal," said Mr. Satish.

As you may all be aware, Chandrayaan-1 has been orbiting the earth in an elliptical orbit at 2,67,000 km apogee (farthest point from earth) and 465 km perigee (nearest point to earth) since 29 October.

It was launched on 22 October on board the 316-tonne PSLV-C11 from Satish Dhawan space centre at Sriharikota spaceport off the Andhra Pradesh coast, 80 km north of Chennai. We will keep you posted for more news about the Chandrayan, so keep watching this space.

Production-control system, developed by Toyota Motor Corp. and imported to the West, that has revolutionized manufacturing methods in some industries. By relying on daily deliveries of most supplies, it eliminates waste due to overproduction and lowers warehousing costs. Supplies are closely monitored and quickly altered to meet changing demands, and small and accurate resupply deliveries must be made just as they are needed. Because there are no spares, the components must be free of defects. Plants wholly dedicated to the JIT concept require a logistics staff to schedule production, balancing product demand with plant capacity and availability of inputs. JIT has worked most effectively for large automobile manufacturers, which may have several thousand suppliers feeding parts into 100 factories that assemble components for 20 assembly lines.
