Just a quick post to show the card I made for a friend's birthday. I used a Kenny K image & they're so fun to color! Just a nice simple card.

Coffee Card

So my sister, Eulanda from Cards & More Cards, created this cool card that can hold little packets of coffee on the inside. She showed me how to do it & this is what I made...I used an image from Tickled Pink stamps called "Vintage Christmas Lylah".

(There are some awesome new stamps at Tickled Pink Stamps as well).

The outside is just like a regular card but when you open it up, that's when you get the REAL treat!

Eulanda has done a tutorial on how to make this card so if you want to whip one up...(okay it took me a few days but I'm slow-lol) then pop on over to her website & follow her instructions for the Coffee Card tutorial! It is soooo awesome!

My Wreath

Well I actually re-created something I found on Pinterest! It was a "how-to" video from YouTube on how to make a wreath out of geo mesh. It took me a LOT longer then the ladies in the video but I know my second one would go much faster. I think the bow could have been a bit bigger but it is what it is now! LOL Glue guns work AWESOME!

Just to share a few new creations

I've been doing a few things that I haven't been posting for lack of time more then anything else. I made two birthday cards for friends & although they're not as fancy as I would have liked them to be, they will have to do. They were fun though.

The I did a few Christmas 5 X 7" canvas boards using a bit of a vintage style. I really like them & so easy to do! I get a lot of my vintage images from The Graphics Fairy. She has TONNES of fun stuff!

OUR BIRTHDAY...I get to share my birthday with THEE best friend in the world! My Mom gave her to me (although she wasn't expecting that) LOL :) Thanks Mom!

I am on the left & Eulanda is on the right, she is 22 minutes older then me, can't you tell? LMAO JK BUDDIE! We went to the Canucks game last Saturday night, they kicked ass!!! Wooo hoooo!

So...I got this GORGEOUS card from my wonderful Mother & I just wanted to share it with you. It's a cool card because there is a gift card envie inside of it (which she also made) & depending on how you open it, it will look different on the inside...way to complicated for me! Way to go Mom & thank you soooo much!!! So here's the outside...

I'm not sure why it looks so blue because it's almost the same turquoise as the front of the card but at least you get the idea! Oh and these photos were taken with my BRAND NEW BIRTHDAY CAMERA from my Mom & Eulanda! Thank you guys soooo much! I have to learn it better but it's awesome! AWESOME! Only thee best present EVER!

Saturated Canary Challenge

So fellow Peeps,

I was surfin on the internet & I came across something I thought was really neat & wanted to share it. You can publish your own blog & make the whole thing into an actual book or PDF file! The Cutest Blog on the Block does it! You can even go to this page & half way down you can enter your own blog address & it will show you what your book is going to look like. You can also edit it & come back to it later if you run out of time! It does cost a bit & of course the more pages you have the more expensive it is but the cheapest way to do it is a PDF file. FYI, this is not an advertisement, it's just something I wanted to share cuz I think it is so cool.

Just Becuz...

I got this beautiful image from Saturated Canary called Violet, A Ragamuffin. She's so cute & fun to color! Not so fun to cut out though I found out. It took me an hour & a half! Ok, I was watching TV too. LOL Well, listening to it with the odd peek now & then.

Anyways, I'm entering her into 2 challenges. (I'm actually entering a card! giggle) So the first one is Sketch N Stash. They gave you a sketch...duh...but you also had to use something old from your stash. You really have to look past all the embellies to actually see that I did in fact use the sketch. Also you have to say what you used from your stash. Oh where do I start! LOL I used some flowers, pearls, lace, & doohickeys (my sisters word) from my stash. There was also a few optional extras you could add just for fun that is actually posted on that blog.

I am also entering my card into the "Anything Goes" from Simon Says Stamp Challenge. I love those ones because your options are endless. If you have the imagination you can create it! I think...LOL

OH AND, this is the first easel card I have made. It did manage to f--- it up but was able to fix it so you'll never know.

Enough of my babbling...now for the sketch first & then my creation!

I crackled the butterfly & I also made the sproingy (can't find a better word) things out of colored wire that I had from forever ago! Pretty tricky hey? LOL

Desiderata

It's been a long time since I felt like creating anything but I think I'm back into it again. And instead of starting with something small, I started with a 16" x 20" white canvas. I needed some decor for my house in my house colors & I really like the Desiderata. SO, my completed project is now on my wall & I just heard a gem fall off, (will have to glue that one later...lol) but everything else stayed up so it's good.

NOW, onto my next project...CHRISTMAS CARDS!

Mid Month Graphicat Designs Reminder

I am starting a new chapter in my life & with that new chapter I am making 1 commitment...TO BE A DT DESIGNER FOR GRAPHICAT DESIGNS! Thank you so much to Cheri for asking me, this is my first time ever on a design team so I hope I can keep my creative flow up to par!

I loved the sketch that was made for this one. For my first sketch challenge, the sketch is so complete that I didn't really have to try to figure out what I was going to do next, it was great! I used the lemons digi stamp from Graphicat Designs on the front of the card, along with other fantastic paraphernalia from my sister's craft room & on the inside (yes I did the inside-shocking I know!) I also used another digi stamp from Graphicat Designs. It is suppose to be a long island ice tea in the glass but I do believe it was intended to be a margarita.

So, the challenge for Graphicat Designs is still open so please come join! We would love to see more!

Father-In-Law

So I have my Father-In-Laws birthday, Mother's Day (2 cards), & my Dad's birthday all on the same weekend. 4 cards in one weekend for me just doesn't happen. So I finished them up this weekend & I will get them out today. I find that Kenny K's digi stamps are the easiest to use for men's cards & it almost makes itself. LOL This is Miss Fortune again, what a hot tomalie! Sorry the picture isn't that great, I'm not the best photographer by far! Although I am using my I-phone, that may not help. :)

I love coloring Magnolia's! This is my entry for the Just Magnolia Challenge. It took me a really long time to do but I am very pleased with the outcome.
