As I noticed, this economy turmoil is one of the worse recessions that ever happened in human history.

Until now, many friends of mine have been declared bankruptcy or having financial crisis for their businesses. Honestly, I was very sad, as I didn’t have the ability to help them out from the misery, when them need it the most!

Edward, one of my good friends, was one of the economy downturn’s victims. Before the economy turbulence, he’s a very successful household appliances businessman, which is owned 20 household appliances stores in all across the United States of America.

Honestly, everything seems to be so perfect and blessing, until his started to notice that the economy crisis has beginning to leave a side effect on his business. He realized that the household appliances selling rate is sharply dropped in all the 20 household appliances stores. In order to cut down the loss and expanses, he decided to close down first five, then ten and lastly fifteen stores!

During the period, he was seriously tortured, in either physically or mentally. The even worse thing is his hair starting to fall off and became bald in less than three months! He’s totally devastated and feel embarrass with the baldness. He’d already lost his confident and didn’t interested on anything in his life. He became a very reticent person!

Honestly, I had no idea, what’s happened on Edward, as we didn’t contact since we’re graduated from the college. Edward wife, Marcy, was the one who dropped me a phone call four months ago and told me his hubby situation.

When I received the call from Marcy and heard what she’d told me, I was stunned for awhile. I knew Edward is now at the low ebb, and I must do something to get him out from the misery!

Hence, I told Marcy that the best solution for Edward now is having the hair transplant. Marcy was shocked, as she’s never heard about this form before! I described to her that hair transplant is a simply surgical technique, which is moving and planting the hair on the balding parts. It has no side effect, painless and very safe.

Marcy said she’ll try her best to convince Edward to test out the method. I told Marcy that we’ll keep in contact from time to time.

It’s already three months, and I received a phone call yesterday evening. This time, Edward’s the person who calling me! During the conversation, Edward said he’s done what I’ve told Marcy and heading to a treatment. He met a very professional hair transplant doctor, which had given him the detailed explanation about the hair fall and the treatment to overcome it.

He followed what the doctor told him and he managed to get his hair back in three months. He was overwhelming about it and thanked me few times through the phone! In addition, He said that his business is now backing on track and the selling rate is bouncing up again.

As a friend, I was very happy for him. Before we’re hanging up the phone, I told him to take a good care of himself and his family. Never give up, no matter how tough the situation is! He promised to keep my words on mind and wish me all the luck.

Now, it’s time to go and chasing your dream again, Edward…

Business one-liners 59

Hard work has a future payoff. There’s nothing in this world will be permanent and remain unchanged (If you find one, then please show it to me).

Let’s take an example. Who will ever think that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson is going to leave us without even a sign? All the sudden, the whole world was in greatly grief, after they heard the shocking news about Michael Jackson. As one of the Michael Jackson’s fans, I flabbergasted for a while, when I heard the news from the radio station in last Friday’s early morning!

After this incident, it reminded me of one thing: Life is full with many obstacles and uncertainty. That’s why we should give the best protection to our family, before it’s starting to strike on us!

In this case, the life insurance would be the perfect shield for your loved ones. Go figure, you’re driving on the road with a steady speed and suddenly, your car’s break is malfunction. You can’t stop the car or jump from it, as there are cars in your back, front and right hand side! Your loved ones are accepting the call from the hospital to inform them about your death news. They’re devastated and helpless.

In this case, the life insurance that you’ve bought for your family and yourself might be able to help them out from the financial crisis, at least for the next couple of years…

The life insurance settlement is becomes increasingly popular, especially in the past few years. However, most of them didn’t know the definition of this new method.

A life insurance settlement is the amount of money, which allows your beneficiary to collect the money, when you’re dead during the specified term under the life insurance policy. Basically, the premiums that you have to pay is totally depend on the type of life insurance and the amount of the settlement you want your beneficiary to have in the end!

If family comes first in your mind, then you should know that life insurance is very important for everyone of them. Yep, it is to make fortune, gaining a good relationship and widening up your vision with various types of people from all around the world!

Well, although some experts said that the economic turbulence had reached its bottom line, but this doesn’t mean it going to end very soon. In fact, there are many businessmen/businesswomen who I knew claimed they’re having deep trouble with the capital/financial problem.

Two weeks ago, my old friend, Tyson had dropped me a call. He invited me to visit his home mortgage company. I went to his company during the weekend. We spent over 4 hours discussed about the policy of the company, and long-term plans for helping the company to overcome the economic downturn.

After that, Tyson brought me to surveying around his company. Well, everything seems to be fined in the very beginning, but it changed 360 degrees, when we’re coming in front the emergency doors! I noticed that the doors were totally locked up with huge padlocks and the exit signs didn’t even light on as well.

Frankly, I flabbergasted when I saw this situation. I asked Tyson on the spot, “Tyson, did you know what you’re doing here?”

“What’s wrong with it, Wilson?” Tyson asked me back!

“Oh my god, it seemed that you have no idea, what you’re doing here, my friend.”

“I didn’t catch your words, mate. Would you please elaborate it?”

“Tyson, you’ve done something that will put you in the trouble.”

“Really? Please tell me, Wilson!”

“Have a look on the emergency doors. Both of them already locked up, where it shouldn’t be locked up at all. Also, the 'EXIT SIGNS' supposed to be light on all the time, instead of turned off!”

“Gosh, I didn’t notice about it, as I thought the emergency doors should only open, when we’re situating in the dangers, such as fire!”

“Yep, you’re right here, Tyson. However, if there were a fire, would you still
remember where you have put the padlock key? In this case, I think you’re mostly freak out by the fire, not even to mention about the key!”

“Hmm…, you’re right, Wilson. Thanks for the reminder, I’m going to unlock the emergency doors and light on the exit signs.”

“Bravo, mate. You’ve done the right thing!”

After about 5 hours in Tyson’s company, I went back to my home in evening. I'm happy that I helped Tyson fixed the problem, before it turns out into a disaster.

Guys, if you’re the owner of company, you must always remember that it’s crucial and important thing to unlock the emergency door and keeps the exit sign light on!

Remember not try to neglect the above simple steps, as you might be punished, once you’re caught red handed by the authority.

The Useful Business Tips 34: The B2B Selling is as Simple As ABC!

It’s time to start your own B2B selling, but you don’t have the fundamental knowledge about it? Actually, there is a simpler ways to know your customers’ opinions/thoughts:

No.1
In this case, you’ve to ask yourself first, “What you really need to know from the customers?” For example, the advantages and disadvantages of using your products? How do they feel about the way your company handles all the complaints? You should determine what you want to know first, before you’re getting into the situation!

No.2
The survey method (Although it is old-fashioned, but it’s the most effective method!). From here, you can evaluate the customer satisfaction level.

No.3
You can hire an outside market research firm to develop questions. It would be even better, if you have an in-house experienced person that can help you here!

No.4
Remember to keep all the ongoing customer compliments/complaints. Discuss this matter and looking for better solution during the staff meetings.

No.5
Invest adequate money in the products’ R&D field and maintain the products’ quality to keep the customers coming back to you!

Business one-liners 49

Business one-liners 49
Acheson's Rule Of The Bureaucracy: A memorandum is written not to inform the reader, but to protect the writer. - Dean Acheson

Action's Law: Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Adler's Distinction: Language is all that separates us from the lower animals, and from the bureaucrats.

Advertising Rule: In writing a patent-medicine advertisement, first convince the reader that he has the disease he is reading about; secondly, that it is curable.

Air Force Inertia Axiom: Consistency is always easier to defend than correctness.

Allen's Distinction: The lion and the calf shall lie down together but the calf won't get much sleep. - Woody Allen

Alden's Laws: (1) Giving away baby clothes and furniture is the major cause of pregnancy.
