It's a tradition for our family(mother side) to have our family reunion during Christmas eve. And this time they decided to be held in the pool.

Actually, this picture was not complete anymore, since some of my mom's sister & brother lived in the far, far away land :). I'm was not here in the picture since i'm in the pool that time.

A night before that, we had our mini parlor games for kids and for kids at heart also.

We shared laughter and joys during that night. It was a night filled with so much fun and memories. We also shared some foods to eat.

A Pair of Dancing Shoes and The Desperate Dancer

Once upon a time (*wenks!), there was a girl who wished to wear a pair of dancing shoes and dance like there's no tomorrow *sigh. I envy watching those dancers in the center stage dancing gracefully. I'm a girl with so many dreams *sigh, but I know some of them will just remain as a dream (hehe).

Every time I watch ballet dancers, I always assumed I was one with them dancing. Although I know I have both left legs (*wenks! hehehe). When I was a kid I wanted to enroll in a ballet school or any dance school but...there's no ballet school in our province.
Yes! I can dance, since it's a requirement in our school (Elementary & high school days) to join in our School Foundation' Field Demo. Tadaaa!!!

Forgive me if it's blurry, you know it's sooo vintage ^_*. Oh! Well...If I can't make it in the center stage, then maybe my kids can? hahaha Here it is...

Our Summer starts & ends HERE!

Our summer starts and ends at Tinuy-an Falls. Our first visit was together with our friends and our second visit was with our family.
Last Maundy thursday was our first visit together with our friends, we traveled as early as 4 in the morning to explore the beautiful places & attractions in Surigao del Sur.

Our first stop-over Baywalk, Bislig since it's just along our way to Tinuy-an Falls.

We are so amazed with their single motors, so it's a must to have a groupie with manong driver :)

Here we come Tinuy-an Falls....During our first visit with friends, there were lots of tourists who visited the place since it is holy week.

Tinuy-an Falls, one of the tourist destination found in Surigao del Sur. Tinuy-an Falls is located at Brgy. Burboanan, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, a city known as "Booming City in the Bay". The Falls are 95m wide and 180 ft high, known to be as the little Niagara Falls in the Philippines and is said to be the widest falls in the Philippines.

We got to experience to ride a raft and get closer to its cascades and get yourself a water massage and of course a selfie.

During our first ride on a raft, our kids were not allowed to ride with us but on our second visit kids were allowed to join with us.

We all had a blast especially kids. Kids were really happy when they're allowed to join us in rafting & had a chance to water massage. Too bad we weren't able to climb to the first level of the falls.

It's been one year and 5 months since my last post. Oh! Whaaat??? I've been offline for a year and half now!?! Really? I can't imagine that I can survive for a year and half without being online. Nahh! I'm just offline here (phinkymommyextension) but still updated in my facebook and instagram by the way hehehe. Wanna know what keeps me busy? In a way, I can't go online? What makes me decide to be updated again?

Well... It's a motherhood thing! Mommy duties and an office girl at the same time. Since my youngest baby boy need to attend to school, means I need to be a yaya for him and an office girl at the same time. Mommy yaya in the morning and office girl mommy yaya at the afternoon. Wew! Isn't it amazing!?! Isn't it surprising!?! Hahaha...It's quite difficult and tiring but yes I'm having fun..so much fun. Watching him bloom on his own from being so shy & the way he interact with his classmates from the start until the school year ends, and much more.

Allow me to share some of my kiddos' school event. Here they are:

During first day of class

He got his first GOOD JOB! Though he is so shy to participate and join the whole class; but when saw me watching over him inside the room, he was forced to join hehehe. It took me a month or two, before I can leave him inside the classroom.

First day wearing the complete uniform and had his new hair cut :)

During Buwan ng Wika

They have a dance presentation and he was assigned to carry the big Philippine Flag :)

During the 34th Founding Anniversary of their school

They also have a dance presentation

Educational Trip
They've visited D' Bone Collector Museum, collection of bones from different animals owned by an American who can speak bisaya Mr. Darrell Blatchley.

At Science Discovery at SM Lanang Premier

And a lot more 'bout his activities inside and outside school. He develops a lot, from being shy kid to a very makulit kid and active. He learns more while having fun. He's so happy every time he got happy face or good job or double star from his teacher. And at the end of the year, it makes me one proud mom! He completed his first year in school with and without any complaints. ^_*

New Year's Eve OOTD: Polka Dots Dress

I don't usually have an OOTD post, this is my first OOTD hehe. I'm kinda shy of taking pictures of my daily outfit. And aside from that I don't have high-quality camera, I'm only using my phone camera. That's why it's bit blurry or dark most of the time. So... just forgive of this post nyahaha.

Just recently last month, I won $60 ROMWE GC from Ms. Mary of brightjewelry.info. I was so kilig when I heard the good news. Right there & then, after I received the voucher code, I searched & go shopping online. And upon browsing, I was stumble upon this cutie polka dots dress just right for my New Year's outfit.

December 23, 2013, the parcel arrived. Of course, i'm a bit scared that it might not fit for me since american size is larger than our size. But when I fit it, I'm so happy that it perfectly fits me.

This shoes I used is a gift from my hubby, we bought in mall. Me and my 1st born have same shoes design and color. It was supposed to be the three of us (me, my 1st born and my 2nd born daughter) have same shoe design & color but no fits for my 2nd daughter.

Christmas Eve of Gift Giving

It's a tradition for our family that every Christmas, we always celebrate to our parents house. We had some parlor games for the kids.

Opening of their gifts is always the exciting part, as they're all excited to open the gifts of their tita and yours truly. :)

This little girl (my niece) is so excited to open this gift as she thought it was for her, but when it was opened it is empty haha!

O Wow Oishi Just Landed Davao

Though I know I can't claim this gigantic Oishi as per mechanics stated that any winner can only claim the prize at their Makati office. But despite the contest is limited only to those who can only claim at their office, I still join the contest and hope to win one gigantic Oishi for my family. Oh! by the way I'm from Davao City, so it's so obvious that I can't claim at their office. I can't even count how many bloggers who hold an Oishi contest that I joined with. All I just aim is to at least win one hahaha.

Early morning November 9, a good friend tagged my name and told me that I won from Ms. Sarah of fashioneggplant.com. I was really happy when Mr. Rafflecopter picked me.

And since I can't personally pick-up the prize, I authorize my sister to pick-up for me. I just send her the required documents needed to claim the prize.

And last December 23, my sister together with her friend arrived in Davao to spend her Christmas & New Year with us.

After what happened in our country in the past few weeks, the Filipino spirit still remains. Never stops fighting, until success achieved. From earthquake that strikes Cebu and Bohol, war in Zamboanga and just recently, Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan that devastated the Central Part of the country.

But despite those major problems facing our country today, Filipinos still manage to raise our flag and smile. And show the world that we can still rise up #BangonPilipinas. Filipinos are still blessed with champions.

Just recently November 24, 2013, Manny "Pambansang Kamao" Pacquiao defeats Brandon Rios by unanimous decision in Welterweight fight. After his consecutive losses, the Pambansang Kamao is totally back in track. It was indeed an emotional victory for Pacquiao after Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan devastated his homeland the Philippines. This event was happened after the day Typhoon Yolanda enters central part of the Philippines. As everyone thinks she could be crowned as Miss Universe 2013 because of her precised and best answer during the final round Q&A. Ara Arida was the only contestant who speaks English without interpreter.

Q: What can be done about the lack of jobs for young people starting their career around the world?
A: For the people who have lack of jobs, I do believe we people should invest to education and that's my primary advocacy because if we all know that everyone of us is educated and well aware of what we are doing, we could land to jobs and land our careers in the future. So education is primary source and it's a ticket for a better future.

Unluckily but still the luckiest girl because she was crowned 3rd Runner up in Miss Universe 2013. She may not bring home the bacon, she's still the winner in our hearts.

The prettiest woman in the whole world is from Philippines. Last September 28, 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia the 63rd edition of Miss World pageant was held. Among the 127 delegates, Miss World Philippines Megan Young was crowned as Miss World 2013. That makes the biggest turnout in the pageant's history because it is the first time the Philippines won the title since the 1951. Awarded with special awards like:

Our very own Miss Mutya Johanna Datul won the Miss Supranational 2013 which was held on September 6, 2013 at Sport's Palace of Minsk, Belarus. This was also the first time for an Asian to win the title of Miss Supranational. She was also awarded Miss Personality , One of the Top 10 Best Talent, and One of the Top 8 Miss Internet.
