yet another amusing evening in hollywood... last night we took hollywood boulevard home and i nearly flattened jimmy as he was jaywalking. we screached to a stop, i blarred my horn, jimmy did the "oops, i am sorry" hand sign, and we laughed all the way home when we realized we almost smeared kimmel.

i went to the paper store to pick up my wedding invitation samples. nicole was there shopping just before i was getting ready to leave. she was really cute with her big gogs on. silly me, i meant to check out her fabulous handbag.

all the paps started swarming outside.

now that there is a fresh and easy in the neighborhood, there will not be too many gelson's sightings.

we had a great night at the oscars and we were thrilled to bump into john travolta. i must say, mr. travolta is incredibly sweet and very kind. we also met with amy adams and she apologized profusely to mike because i always sing "a trule loves kiss" to him.

this had to be one of the coolest concerts ever. he played songs from liverpool 8 and included with a little help from my friends. mike and i had a great time...

oh, i got to pick up a ringo for president button too... it looks like the ticket... it was killer to see dave stewart - - - i loved him when he played for the eurythmics.

we are seated at the san diego wine and culinary institute for the lombardia wine tasting and dinner.

the lombardia cheese, the lombardia wine, the lombardia people were just incredible!

i totally love belinda and i am a total francophile. it was really too bad that she did not have her songs memorized and that she did not blend in some english tunes so that audience would not fall asleep on new year's eve.

nevertheless, i had a great time even though snoring was provided by audience dolby surround sound.

I am a Moleskine fanatic. My shelves and my purse are completely filled with finished and unfinished books. My favorite Moleskines include the large 100 page sketchbook and the watercolor books.

My work sometimes leans to haunting innocence - - - I love that simplicity can reveal so much emotion. I always start with my Faber-Castell pencil and then I ink using a Sakura pen.

When traveling, I love to add local images into my Moleskines - - - grab every single local paper, advertisement, and pamphlet and cut it for your use. I only trust the Judikins cts11 scissors and office depot acid-free glue sticks.

mike and i went to the arclight to see dan in real life - i was not impressed. there is absolutely nothing appealing about a character that is so self loathing, selfish, and so self deprecating. sorry for the alliteration but what a creep!... i tried to like the guy but it was pointless. rent it.

it was a quick flight and we arrived in phoenix. our breakfast burrito breakfast came with a fortune cookie: "get ready to do something daring"

the roads were long and barren. we saw camel back mountain and a lot of cacti on our way to scottsdale.

we went to the suns game in pheonix. my favorite player was nash. i thought l.a. was just a bunch of thugs.

we stopped for lunch at king's fish house.

we headed back to the hotel and i took a long dip in the jacuzzi under the starry skies.
