It is a lovely, clean and richly bio diverse region and an exceedingly peaceful and accepting country but has strict visa schemes that must be abided by to gain permission to visit the country. Once permission has been granted finding accommodation is a piece of cake.

Your choice of accommodation does for a large part depend on your purpose of visit. http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/ provides you with complete online guide.

Hotels, bed and breakfast inns, cottages, cabins, beach resorts in the traditional Kiwi style, and beach houses, farmhouses, holiday homes, hostels, motels etc are all valuable options. New Zealand offers a whole range of options but you don't have to go there to know about it. Its always better to first check online and since there is so much information on the net http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/ zeros on precise information so your search becomes easy and simple.

Once in New Zealand you should spend a day in Christchurch, the biggest city on the South Island, before you head back to Auckland for your flight out. Again http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/ gives a more thorough details before you actually go there so check their link on accommodation you will find in ChristChurch http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/Christchurch/

The major cities in the North Island are Wellington, and the capital, Auckland. And for hotel accommodation in Auckland check http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/Auckland/ and if you planning to include Wellington check out http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.nz/New-Zealand/Wellington/ for more information

Three weeks is the usual "quick trip" people spend in New Zealand. The official websites of major towns and cities give you plenty of information to make good plans, but don't try to fit too many places and things into a short time. For clothes, you can pack as little as possible; in this country, anything casual is fine. And to be better prepared in your hotels and accommodation please check all the above links. Will make your trip all the more enjoyable!

Cheaper than Hotels

Seeking a much required break from your mundane and boring routine? All of those drinks just mentioned have lots of sugar, which can ONLY make cause your body to store fat..., which is exactly the opposite of what you are trying to do. So throw all that junk in the trashcan...

But what about alcohol? Are you joking? Most mixed alcoholic drinks have sugar in them! Limit your drinks or avoid them altogether. The real question here is do you want to lose or prevent weight gain or do you want to enjoy your holiday with wild abandon and then hate yourself come January? Yeah right, just junk those liquids, you'll thank yourself later.

2) No more runs to Taco Bell, McDonalds or any of the other fast food joints in town. Enormous corporations that are only concerned with the bottom line usually run those loosely called restaurants. They make foods that you crave and willing to pay for. Notice that I didn't say these fast food places put any consideration whether or not the food is actually healthy for you!

The quality of the grub is really, really horrible. No joking here. You are NOT going to get lean and slim if you eat one of those fat burgers. And forget about those feel-good menus. It is a bunch of bull that you can find healthy choices at the fast food joints. It is still fast food and still is a very poor choice for you.

Bottom line, take the time to go to the grocery store and get the fresh produce and learn how to cook it yourself. Sure you are busy but does that mean your body has to suffer? Heck no! Start small and work your way through the whole day and make a life long commitment to learning how to prepare and cook your own food. Just say no to the instant crappy food culture that is so prevalent in our modern world and face it, pretty soon, over 75% of adults are going to be overweight or obese. Don't be one of them! Start today and just make it part of your lifestyle.

3) Mom is right. Eat more of those fresh fruits and vegetables. If you are eating some, try to eat more because not only these are healthy choices, they "fill" you up so you won't be craving junk foods later on at night.

Another benefit from eating healthy is you become more alert and awake during the day and your boss won't be "catching" you nodding off at the department meetings anymore. :)

4) Eat nuts. Dry roasted Almonds and Walnuts are excellent sources of proteins and "good fats." Try to eat one ounce in the morning and one ounce during the afternoon. Another benefit is that they are appetite suppressors.

5) Develop a steady and easy to follow exercise or workout program. Try to make it fun and make sure it does what it is supposed to do -- exercise your major body muscles to burn calories and exercise the heart.

I am going to leave the training times to you. It really isn't important when you train but that you DO train periodically.

6) And here is an extra special tip for you...

Studies have shown that when you regularly go for a walk after big meals, it help your body regulate its internal mechanism and control weight gains which is exactly what you want!
So do this every single day when you can and I'm sure you will notice the results...

Before your vacation

People go for vacation to get freshness, enjoyment, and to pass some time out of stress, what they daily suffer. It has the privilege of being the largest metropolitan city of India and one of the most populous in the world. It is one of few cities that never sleep for the men and material are perpetually in the transit.

Mumbai is the city of dreams for it beholds in its lap a plethora of opportunities and immense possibilities. It is a city which one loves in spite of its constant hustle and bustle. Its effervescence is in itself a reason for its flourish. People who have once tasted its vibrancy invariably thrive in its liveliness. Although Mumbai is city of a never ending struggle for life, yet people who arrive here once rarely go back.

Mumbai is the pulsating nerve center that fans out audio-visual entertainment through the length and breath of the country. It has virtually spread out its influence worldwide. Mumbai is the hub for initiating and determining contemporary social guidelines by casting influence through dramatics and motion cinema. On the same lines the vice-versa is also true. Contemporary fashion lines are dictated and find shape here for the entire country. People from overseas are as much as enthusiastic about the Hindi movies as those living here. The Hindi film industry of Mumbai functions as the Bollywood and is home to India's famed film and television industry.

Besides the entertainment sector, Bollywood is the commercial capital of India and operates the Bombay Stock exchange and the National stock Exchange with in its ambit. It houses the prestigious Reserve Bank of India and several small, medium and large scale financial and commercial institutions of profit as well as non-profit providing employment to a major chunk of population that immigrate to Mumbai from across the country. The city is a focal point of exalted industries catering to the media, healthcare, information technology, diamond polishing, engineering besides innumerable other businesses new as well as the traditional. Mumbai is celebrated for highest collection of income tax, custom duties, and central excise taxes besides billions flowing in through the corporate taxes. Blue collar workers as well as the white collar workers and several incumbents from various walks of life find home in the city called Mumbai. It is a true metropolis where sprawling slums and towering skyscrapers coexist.

Mumbai is an archipelago of seven islands namely, the Isle of Bombay, Mazagaon, Colaba, Old Woman's Island, Parel, Worli and the Salsette Island. Evidences excavated at Kandvali reveal its habitation even during the Stone Age. The conglomeration was sea side fishing villages till acquired by the Portuguese in the 16th century from Bahadur Shah of Gujarat. The Portuguese christened it as Bombaim. It was later anglicized to Bombay following acquisition by the British. Bombay was gifted as dowry for Catherine de Braganza, the Portuguese princess who wedded Charles II of England, in 1661. Interestingly the islands were thereafter sublet to the East India Company in 1668 for a sum as small as 10 pounds. The Company was prompt enough to lay down their first harbor in the Indian sub-continent considering the deep natural harbor in the high seas of Bombay. With the shifting of British headquarters then stationed in Surat to Bombay in 1697, the city became to be referred to as the Presidency city of western India. Today Mumbai has distinction of being a multicultural, multilingual and a liberal city which add color, flavor, vigor and fiber to the Mumbai's pot pauri.

A project called the Hornby Vellard (1817-1845) was undertaken to amalgamate the seven islands into one unified landmass. The city is honored for being the first to run the maiden railway line connecting Bombay to Thane in 1853. Its status as city par excellence was multiplied in several folds with the inception of prime cotton trade markets during the times of American Civil War which lasted from 1861-1865.

Mumbai lies at the inception of River Ulhas in the coastal and the lush green belt of Konkan off the western coast of India. The region is a home to unique endemic flora and fauna nestled in its inhabitation. The nearly Borivali National Park incorporates the Tulsi Lake and Vihar lake within its seams. These lakes along with the Powai Lake serve as the suppliers of drinking water to this vivacious city. The northern regions of Mumbai are mountainous while the coastline of the city is shuffled with bays and creeks. The ecology of Mumbai and its adjoining areas especially the eastern coast of Salsette Island is distinctive with mangrove swamps rich in biodiversity. The Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus and the Elephanta Caves also in Mumbai are honored for being on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Take $10 off your next next order of $150.00 or more at WorldTraveler!
Just use the coupon code AF0501 at checkout.

Switzerland - The Dream Destination

It's truly a stunning and an astonishing fact how a small country likes Switzerland possesses extraordinary varieties of attraction. After all, the very act of camping means going out into nature, living with the animals, subjecting yourself to the elements and cooking, eating and sleeping on the ground. Nonetheless, cleanliness throughout your campout experience is crucial both to the day in, day out life in camp and to your health and mental serenity throughout the time you are "roughing it".

The actual challenge of camping is finding ways to have a good quality of life without many of he niceties that our modern lifestyle affords us. For the most part, few of us go camping because we have to. We camp for recreation and probably for relatively short periods of time. Nevertheless good hygiene and camp cleanliness is essential for everyone's well being and to assure that you stay organized and go bed each night knowing you camped well.

As with anything that leads to your success in camping, preparation makes the difference. Part of being prepared for camping and making it possible for you to stay clean over several days in camp comes from knowing what to expect. So check the weather forecast for the area where you will be camping so that if there is rain predicted, you can come prepared to clean up some wet and muddy campers. But even if the forecast is clear and dry, it always pays to be prepared for any sudden change in the weather while camping. So there are some things you should always do for every campout to keep your camp site clean and your campers that way too.

Good camping gear can help you maintain some level of civilized cleanliness during the campout. A well sealed tent can keep water out so even if some dust and dirt gets inside, it won't turn your tent interior into a mudslide. Also bring plenty of cleaning supplies to ripe down tables, clean up dirty tent floors and to clean up campers as well. Other than that, the best preparation is going to the camp site knowing full well that your camping crew is going to get dirty and being ready to clean them up for meals and bedtime.

During the camp day, your standards of cleanliness can be a bit more relaxed. After all, if the kids come back from the camp playground covered in dust but the next activity is a hike to the lake, just getting them to a basic health level of cleanliness such as clean faces and hands is probably sufficient. You can allow the dirt to become part of their uniforms of a camping family and just relax for a while and let them have fun.

Obviously in the camp site itself, cleanliness means keeping litter and trash picked up and put away in trash sacks. To keep the trash well isolated and secured, tie your trash sack to an elevated object such as a tent upright or a tree limb so everybody can find the current working trash bag and continue to add to it throughout the camping day and evening. But also stage periodic "policing" events to get the litter up from the camp site during the time when everybody is back in base camp. By the time you are ready to bed the crew down, the camp site should be clean and the trash taken away to discourage animals from investigating it in the night.

There is no reason to abandon basic hygiene while camping. Some camp grounds have bathrooms which may even have showers. But even if there are no showers available, each camper can go to the restroom area and take a hand towel, soak it in clean water and give themselves a sponge bath before changing into clean clothes before bed.

Cleaning up in this manner is crucial to the ongoing health and cleanliness of the camping experience. Be sure you pack plenty of clean changes of clothes for each camper. Everybody should sleep after washing off and changing into completely clean clothing. Wearing soiled clothing to bed, even if it is only soiled with sweat and body fluids makes those clothes less able to keep the camper warm in the night, can cause rashes as they sleep and can be a draw for insects or animals who smell those dirty things and know that they can find sleeping humans and where sleeping humans are they can often find food. So make sure everyone changes clothes before bed and that dirty clothes are bagged and stored away from the sleeping campers.

The essentials of changes of clothes and of shoes will make all the difference in maintaining a happy camp site over several days. Campers should know never to bring dirty or wet boots or shoes into their tents. Bring two or more changes of shoes so if they find the shoes they were wearing during the day are unacceptably filthy, they can have fresh shoes for the morning while their old shoes are cleaned and dried.

An ample supply of large trash bags will be your best defense in isolating and securing dirty items to be returned home for cleaning. Each camper should be supplied with a trash bag to dump their dirty clothes into. Then after camp is over, all bags of dirty items can be tied off and taken home to be cleaned properly in the laundry.

These basic cleanliness steps that you can think through before you ever pull out to go camping will make keeping a clean camp site organized and moving forward each day so much easier. It is a strategy that does not try to deny that camping brings people in contact with dirt. But it recognizes that getting dirty is part of the fun of camping and puts routines and resources in place that everyone can return to a base level of cleanliness each day at least sufficient to stay healthy and happy for the next day's camping fun.

Explore Rajasthan – the land of rippling sand dunes and spectacular forts & palaces

Are you interested in making your holiday vacation a lifetime experience? With rich culture and magnificence, it would offer you many places to see. And going there to experience the place would not cost you so much especially when you decide to travel cheap. But traveling cheap has its own cost. Here are the pros and cons when you decide to travel cheap to India:

Pros

1. When you are India, luxury is not always wise. That is why when you travel cheap you don't need to wear extravagant clothing. You don't need to invest on your clothing for a visit in the country. Simple clothes are enough for you to survive India. Be mindful of the culture. Make sure you respect it by wearing discreet clothing.

2. When you travel cheap to India, you can eat anywhere you can. Prices are relatively low in this country. Aside from this, you can try the real local taste of foods without spending much.

3. India could be dangerous to those who don't know how to mingle. And to mingle means to be simple. And to be simple means to travel cheap while carrying enough money for the day and carrying it without the use of the typical wallet you put on your pockets. Wander the streets in a way you don't have to show your fortune, and since you travel cheap, you don't have much to show off.

4. Since you don't have to carry much if you travel cheap, you don't have much to worry about. But still, never ever leave your things unattended. There is a great chance it will get lost.

5. You can experience India's culture, history, and religion while staying at your target budget. You can visit their place of worship (mosque or temple) and know their background for free. Be mindful though not to violate any rules while on these sites. Do not act negatively or that might offend their culture.

6. Prices in India are much cheaper than in other countries especially in Europe and Americas. You can get what you want and all you need without spending much.

Cons

1. The flight from the United State to India would take several hours. When you buy coach plane ticket which is cheaper compared to first class and business class, inconvenience might set in while on the plane.

2. India is a big country with lots of sights to offer. If you travel cheap you might not be able see all of those.

3. Food may be another issue if you decided to travel cheap to India. Although the prices are a lot cheaper on ordinary restaurants than on hotels, you might not get the type of food you prefer. Indian food is different.

4. Accommodation might be an issue if you decided to travel cheap to India. If you cannot stand the hotels that are not first class, settling for small, simple and cheap hotels may become a struggle.

These things will not only let you decide how to get to India but also guide you how to act when you are in the country. With a little care and precaution, no matter how much you have prepared, traveling at India will bring you many good experiences and social awareness.

The Disney Cruise Ships

Disney' cruise ships - the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder - embody the style and spirit of the grand ocean liners of days gone by, coupled with every modern amenity you have come to expect from a premiere cruise line. The two ships are basically identical save for some decorating details - the Wonder is decked out in an Art Nouveau style, while the Magic is fashioned in an Art Deco style - and the names of some of the restaurants and clubs. Both ships incorporate an interesting dining rotation, whereby your tablemates (in fact- the entire dining room full of guests) is rotated through the 3 restaurants along with your servers and wait staff, so that you get to experience a different restaurant each night without sacrificing the careful attention and pampering of having your own servers. And what restaurants they are - Parrots Cay embodies a fun, tropical flavor (and incidentally serves a fabulous breakfast buffet, and Disney characters often drop by unannounced, so be sure to have those cameras and autograph books handy!). Animator's Palate is a most unique restaurant where the décor starts out black, white and grey, but by the end of the meal is a full burst of colors and Disney pictures, all coordinated with a musical soundtrack, and Lumiere's/Triton's, which is an elegant restaurant decorated with beautiful mosaics depicting scenes from The Little Mermaid on the Disney Wonder and Beauty and the Beast on the Disney Magic.

Both ships have a variety of features and activities designed exclusively for the younger set, including a family pool and water slide (fashioned as Mickey's gloved hand), snack bars poolside serving chicken nuggets, French fries and ice cream, a fully-equipped kids 'camp' open 'till midnight with counselors, great activities, play areas and computers, great Disney-themed shoes (including one starring all of the kids onboard, assisted by their counselors), and more characters than you could ever meet at Disney World. All of this attention to the kids certainly doesn't shortchange the adults, who are treated to their own pool and spas, adult-only restaurant (make reservations as soon as you board- Paolo's is a big hit), adult clubs, and even their own beautiful, private cove on the beach at Disney' own Castaway Cay island paradise.

Rooms on the Disney Cruise ships are about 25% larger than comparable rooms on other cruise ships, and many include a unique split 1 1/2 bath, to make getting ready easier for families. There is certainly more food than you could eat or activities you could participate in to fill several cruises, and you'll certainly find yourself wishing that the cruise were longer - or start planning your next cruise before you even disembark

Travelling with your Camera

Think positive! The year's not half over, there's still half to go. That is when it comes to Photography Events and Festivals.

At least once a year, all across the country, smalltown America comes together to show their spirit by holding family-friendly festivals. These events are generally held on a weekend and feature local art, music and culture. And then there are the week long functions, such as the Yamhill Fair and Rodeo, which is held Sunday to Sunday in McMinville, Oregon. Not only will you FIND local art and cultural here, but you'll want to have your camera handy for those awesome rodeo riders and prizewinning flower entries.

But the Photography Events I'm going to acquaint you with now are the ones held in metropolitan areas throughout the world. These functions draw both local and internationally acclaimed artists. There are several well known events planned for the second half of 2007. Some of these festivals are being held in various cities throughout the United States, one in Canada and two in France. If you've dreamed of combining a vacation with your love of photography, this may be your chance to do just that. Choose a destination, pack your suitcases and camera bags and head out for the experience of a photographers lifetime.

First on the calendar is the Les Rencontres D'Arles Photographie held in France. Although this has already begun, it runs until September 16. If you are fortunate enough to travel to this phenomenal show, you will encounter 50 magnificent expositions.

Next on our calendar is the Foto Septiembre USA, held every year September 1 - 30 in San Antonio and other Texas cities. This is an International Photography Festival which is a popular destination for both artists and photography enthusiasts. Not only do they provide a forum which allows artist to exhibit their craft, but they also operate through a website and publication. This provides exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers the additional valuable support of internet exposure.

Next we head north to our Canadian neighbors in Montreal. The Le Mois de la Photo has been held every year since its inception in 1989 to celebrate the 150Th anniversary of photography. It is dedicated to Fine Art Photography and will feature 30 exhibits in galleries and museums throughout the city. The goal of this event has always been to educate the general public about photography as an art form. This year's guest curator will be art historian Marie Fraser whose theme will be The Narrativity of The Image, which should prove to be a captivating topic.

Next we're headed south to Georgia for Atlanta Celebrates Photography, ACP9, held in October. This is a citywide festival which is in its 9Th year. It has art exhibits in diverse locations throughout the city. You will enjoy lectures by international and local artists, a pushpin show, a film series and the public art program.

On to The Big Apple and the PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 2007 being presented October 18 - 20. This is being called the premier event for forward- looking imaging solutions and photographic education. It also promises to bring leaders, pioneers, and rising new stars together for unprecedented networking events.

Paris Photo which is considered by many to be the leading fair for still photography will be held this year on November 15-18. It will offer photo enthusiasts some 100 galleries and publishers from all over the world. In addition to the exhibits, there will be book signings, prize award ceremonies and lectures. What could be better than to be in the City of Lights with your camera and other photographic devotees.

We wrap up the year in Florida at the Photo Miami scheduled for December 5-9. This International Contemporary Art Fair will be held in the Wynwood Art District of Miami. It focuses on Photo-based art, video and new media.

Any one of these Photography Festivals would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip whether you're a hobby photographer or photograph for living. Dust off you your camera bags and hit the road.

Cruise Packing Tips

Packing Tips

Packing for a cruise can be quite a daunting task - when else are you expected to show up in everything from a bathing suit to an evening gown, yet are allotted such little closet space? Some things to consider when packing your bags:

At the cruise terminal - or even at the airport if you have an air/sea or a land/sea package - your luggage is taken by the porters to be brought to your room. The cruise line will tell you that it is possible that you won't have your bags until after dinner (it is generally quicker, but there are no guarantees), so you want to be sure to have bathing suits, dinner clothes and your toiletries in your carry-on just in case.

Another thing you want to think about when packing is what type of luggage will work out best. Some cruise lines offer to store your empty bags during the duration of the cruise (call ahead to check), but if they don't, you may want to consider soft-sided luggage - storage in your cabin is at a premium! - and if there are several people sharing the same cabin, it would be even more helpful if your luggage nested inside each other.

Now that we've discussed your actual luggage - and how long it might be before you see it again – perhaps the last item to consider is what you are putting in the bags. There are many things to consider - formal and semi-formal dinners, sporting events, shore excursions, casual days - and because of the whole space issue, you want to be sure to choose wisely. Consider clothing in complementary colors, so that every item matches other things you have brought, think wrinkle-free and low maintenance as much as possible, and cut out excess as much as possible (large shampoo bottles, etc.). If you are traveling with other people - in your cabin or otherwise - see if there is anything that can be shared, such as irons, steamers, hair dryers and similar supplies. Remember, it was no less a person that Sherlock Holmes (even though he’s fictional!) who pointed out that if the walls don’t distend, then only the absolute necessities belong with you, and you need to keep them accessible!

How to Get the Best Possible Beach Vacation Home

There is nothing more relaxing than having a week or two to spend at the beach. Vacation homes are a wonderful change from staying at a large or impersonal motel or hotel, plus they have the added convenience of being close to or even right on the water, having all the amenities of a house, as well as being much larger than a hotel room or even a suite would be.

Many of the beach vacation homes available offer all the features of a hotel vacation. If you are considering a rental and are going through an agency or property management company, it is usually possible to have a rental car provided for you upon arrival. In addition, many companies and agencies can also offer bonded and professional cleaning staff, chefs and even tour guides that will personalize your beach vacation and really make it a holiday for everyone in the family.

If you would prefer to just be able to relax and enjoy the warm weather, beach vacation homes can offer a quiet, stress-free holiday environment. To ensure that you get the best possible rental property, be sure to check the following:

* Ensure that you know the full amount of the rental and any additional expenses that may be included. Most beach vacation homes, especially those that are right on the beach or at the water will book up at least one season in advance. Holiday times such as summer vacation, spring break and even Christmas holidays may be booked several seasons in advance.

* Before sending a deposit or providing a credit card number for a deposit or reservation, fully understand the cancellation policy or any insurance that you may need to have on the property.

* Whether you are renting beach vacation homes from an individual or a company, be sure to get everything in writing before supplying a deposit or credit card information, especially if you have not rented through the company or from the individual before. A verbal agreement is not binding or legally valid in a court but a written, signed contract is a legal document.

* Finally, check the area in which the beach vacation home is located. While property right on the beach is great in quiet or secluded places, on busy beaches it can be a bit more stressful and noisy, especially if you are wanting a quiet vacation spot.

Doing some advanced research on beach vacation homes is simple through the internet or making a few phone calls. Planning your vacation is half the fun and knowing what you want and finding just the right beach vacation homes makes the holiday perfect for the whole family.

Packing men's clothing - great tips

Packing men's clothing is easy once you get organized. As a rule, they will not take as many items as women pack so you can use a smaller case. Lightweight luggage with a removable suiter inside is the easiest way to go if you are packing one or two suit or sports jackets.

The suiter will keep the jackets almost wrinkle free. Of course, you can always pack a travel steamer just in case. There are models that will use any type of tap water. International steamer models can be used around the world. If the luggage does not have a suiter or if you are taking more than two jackets, you will have to use a garment bag. A garment bag will hang all of the clothing on hangers right from your closet. Shirts can also be hung on the same hanger underneath the jacket. Garment bags are easiest to pack when they are hung up.

Gravity will pull the clothing straight and keep everything neatly in order. There are usually small mesh pockets and other zippered pockets for underwear, pajamas and shaving gear. A small narrow pocket will hold ties. Shoes or sneakers will fit on the bottom of the garment bag. Pockets that will hold socks are located on the top on either side of the hanger hook. Because hangers slope down, this is a perfect area for small items. In the outside pocket, you can slip some casual items or gym clothing. Try to leave room for a lightweight raincoat and a small travel umbrella.

Garment bags come in soft models or those with wheels and a pull handle. Packing a Pullman case with the removable garment sleeve is very easy. Jacket and slacks can go on one thin wire hanger. Place them inside the garment cover. They will usually fold once or twice depending on the size of the luggage. Then the balance of the clothes you've chosen can be packed. The garment cover is generally in the top part of the luggage. Underwear should go in first on the bottom of the case, against the inner bars of the pull-up handle. It's easiest to pack first inside a packing cube, so he can unpack quickly by dropping the cubes in one of the hotel drawers.

Next, pack any additional slacks on hangers to continue to make unpacking easy. His cotton shirts can be packed in a shirt cube. These keep the shirts from wrinkling and they will look like you just picked them up from the laundry or cleaners when you unpack. This type of cube also keeps everything from shifting inside the suitcase to further eliminate wrinkles. His socks can be placed inside the shoes or sneakers. Cover the shoe or sneaker with a travel shoe cover and pack them around the perimeter of the bag.

Continue to pack any travel accessories around the perimeter of the case. The new airline regulations do not allow you to take your toiletries on board. The only liquids and gels you can carry with you have to fit inside a quart sized clear plastic bag. Inside the bag, liquids can be in containers no larger than three ounces. And travelers may take only one of these on board. Easy-go and Travelon are two companies that make this convenient 3-1-1 bag with the correct sized travel bottles included. The balance of your toiletries must be packed in your luggage. That means hair gels, toothpaste, shampoo, mouthwash, and shaving cream and after-shave lotion all must be carefully packed.

The safest way is to cover each container with plastic wrap and then pack everything inside a man's shave kit. These are usually leather on the outside and washable nylon lined inside. If anything leaks or spills, the kit will hopefully protect your clothing from being soiled or ruined. Discount luggage can also be stained inside from these dangerous spills and leaks. Many shorter trips can use a carryon bag. These trips have to plan carefully because carryon bags generally can be no larger than 45" measuring length plus height plus width. Some of the carryon bags have a suit fixture inside. You will need to pack your slacks and jacket on one thin wire hanger inside the carryon. It will fold up with soft padded folds usually once or twice depending on the design. Toiletries will have to be in the regulation 3-1-1 clear plastic bag. There's usually room inside these carryons for a small travel umbrella.

Underwear and pajamas will fit inside one of the smaller packing cubes. These carryon bags are convenient and easy to travel with on short trips. You don't have to wait at the baggage carousel and can be on your way as soon as the plane lands. These cases are popular corporate gifts and can be individually monogrammed with your initials, or with a company name or logo. However you travel, pack well and enjoy your trip!

Food Tours and Food Vacation Destinations

Until a few years ago, America was not known for their famous chefs. Most famous chef came from foreign countries; however, American chefs are fast becoming some of the best chefs in the world. America is now becoming a very popular location for food tours for individuals in the United States and all over the world to enjoy the delectable local cuisine found in such cities as New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco, and even various cities on the Hawaiian Islands. Today, you can see several of these chefs showcased by food tours in America. In many cases, just one city has more than one famous chef that owns unique restaurants giving visitors the opportunity to try various delightful meals

With food being a major part of vacations no matter where you might wish to visit, food tours are becoming even more popular. Not only do food tours give you the chance to try local cuisine, but it also brings the family together to enjoy a few meals. As everyone knows, in this fast-paced world of ours, many families hardly ever sit down and enjoy even one per week together. Food tours give you the chance to enjoy the meal along with the company of your family.

When you begin your food tour search, you can learn quite a bit just by visiting FoodTours.org, which has information on the various food tours available throughout America and the world.

If you visit FoodTours.org, you will be able to make an educated decision on which food tour will excite your taste buds, tantalize your palate, while giving your family a wonderful and unique family experience.

Some of the information you will find at FoodTours.org include information on Boston Food Tours. Some of the sights included on the food tours in Boston are Sam Adams Brewery, North End Market, and of course the restaurants famous for Boston Baked Beans.

Seattle has unique food tours that include such dishes that are within the Pacific Rim cuisine including delectable fresh fish, chowder, and some of the best coffee in the entire United States.

When it comes to New Orleans, most already know about the delicious food served during the Mardi Gras, the historical tours, and of course the delightful entertainment found in the French Quarters. On the other hand, not too many people realize there are wonderful food tours, which will fill you up with such delights as gumbo, jambalaya, and other Cajun treats.

Chicago may be known as the name windy city; however, when some people think about Chicago their mouth begins to water with the thoughts of the Chicago style pizza. However, Chicago is also known for other treats like bakeries, sweet shops, and coffee shops to name a few.

Hawaii has a blend that is unknown to the continental US with delicious treats with a variety of cuisine including Pacific Rim, Hawaii Regional Cuisine, French, Mediterranean, Classical, or Italian. However, if you desire local cuisine you will be thrilled to try some of the smaller restaurants owned by locals during your food tour.

Cheap Holidays Guide

The holiday is something everyone can enjoy; it is an essential break to allow unwinding and reconnection with family and friends. Sadly though, all too often these wonderful breaks from working life can dig a little too deep into the pockets. Why waste an obscene amount of money on travel really? It would be far better spent on having a good time once you actually arrive!

The problem is many people do not have the first clue where to start looking when it comes to holidays. The majority of people do not understand that an amazing holiday does not have to cost insane amounts of money. Quite to the contrary, some of the best holidays are also the cheapest!

Exactly how cheap you can get a holiday obviously greatly depends on what type of holiday you want. A cruise around the Caribbean or a river crusie up the Nile might cost a little more than a weekend in Paris. However, the process of finding such holidays is actually essentially the same, particularly with the help of the internet. Even if you have the money to burn on a Caribbean cruise with Amazon adventure it still doesn't mean you should waste thousands of pounds.

The key to any good search is comparison. The comparison of the different airlines, the comparison of different hotels and resorts, the comparison of insurance, etc. The more information you have, the easier it is to barter with them. They want your money, and they will bargain if they are being upstaged by someone else.

Until recently the problem with this approach was that it was a real pain and very time intensive; many people simply ended up opting for an expensive travel agent. However, the power of the interent has changed everything; the actual process of locating good deals has changed little over the last few decades. In other words, you just need to log on and browse for the best deals, usually in resorts around the south coast of Europe, and you can get away with a truly amazing deal.

For more savings, it is a good idea to be a little flexible; if you are willing to accept any town in the region you wish to visit, and you can be flexible with your flight dates, you will save a lot of money. The same is true if you can manage to go a little earlier - holidays are usually a fair bit cheaper in June and July than they are in August. Plus it's a lot less crowded (and cheaper) once you get there as well.

Beginner Camping Tips

If you are new to camping, the following tips for the beginner camper can be a tremendous help to creating an enjoyable experience. Camping gets easier and more enjoyable when you are more prepared. These camping tips will help you go from a "beginner" to an "advanced" camper in no time.

Tip #1 - Know the people you are camping with and the amenities that they require, even if it is only for a few days. Do you need a swimming pool, electricity, hot shower and flushing toilets or can you survive with an outhouse and no running water? If you have children, consider their needs as well. Then find a campsite that fits those needs.

Tip #2 - Camp with someone who has camped before. You will learn something new every time. Eventually they will also learn something from you. Ask a lot of questions (How did you start that fire? How do you keep the tablecloth down?).

Tip #3 - Begin planning early for your camping trip. Many popular locations are reserved months in advance. You do not want to leave this to chance. I recommend starting out close to your home as well. Try to arrive at the campsite before it gets dark so you can get all of your gear organized.

Tip #4 - If you are using a tent, put it up at home before you leave. Make sure you have all the poles, stakes, and other parts and are comfortable getting it assembled. You may want to practice in the dark as well, in case you arrive late.

Tip #5 - Use a camping checklist when packing your supplies. During your camping trip, add those things that you wish you had to your checklist for next time. Contact the campsite to help with this as well - do you need a grill or barbeque, can you have a fire, is there a picnic table?

Tip #6 - Pack appropriate clothing and footwear. Check the weather before you leave so you know how hot or cold it will be at night. Will you need any rain gear? What activities will you do during the day? Don't wear flip flops if you are going to hike Half Dome in Yosemite.

Tip #7 -Bring food that is easy to prepare and serve. Know how you will cook the food. Do you have charcoal, propane or firewood? Matches, lighter fluid, etc. (see checklist again)

Tip #8 - Have some activities planned for your trip. Hiking, biking, river rafting, swimming, boating, fishing and horseback riding are just a few suggestions. Use your imagination and you will never get bored.

Tip #9 - Leave your campsite clean. There should be no sign that you were even there. The next group camping there will appreciate it, the same way you would.

Tip #10 - Remember why you are there - to enjoy the outdoors and each other! Don't let a couple of little things spoil your fun.

My Paris Hotel is the online booking website of the Paris Honotel group, which has 25 years’ experience in hotel management and investment. Commissions per lead will be much higher than your typical hotel booking site. HotelPlanner.com guarantees the best group rates and service. Our affiliates receive the highest payments in online group reservations through our system.

In a process designed by hospitality sales managers, anyone can simply input appropriate group information and name a desired price per room. The patent-pending system instantly searches the Web for availability within the group coordinator's desired dates, star rating and price range. Hotels in the group's destination or destinations are then notified and encouraged to respond with rate offers and hotel information directly to the coordinator via the online system.

The group booking system also allows for rate and comment exchange from client-to-hotel and hotel-to-client. This online communication allows group bookings to be finalized completely online from anywhere in the world. Each group will receive their own customized group booking website that they can send to their event guests.
Our great rates and great customer service will have customers returning again and again which means higher commissions for you.

Traveling with children can be fun as well as very trying. Our family has been traveling with our children since the children were babies. Our children are in their middle school years now, but over the years we have come up with some fun travel activities that keep the children’s attention and teach them something in the process.

While on long trips, it can be very tempting to use the portable DVD player to provide entertainment for your children, and don’t think for a minute that we don’t use that form of entertainment…. for parts of long trips…. but there are so many simple, fun games that you can play with your children that will help make the trip smoother and more enjoyable. Here are some examples of activities that we have used to make travel time smoother.

One of my children’s favorite games is what my husband calls “Toss Ups”. In Toss Ups, my husband simply tosses questions up. For instance, “Who was the first president of the United States of America?” or “If I had 5 apples, and I gave 3 apples to Tom , how many apples do I have now?” Now, as you can see, the questions can be very simple depending on your children’s ages. If you have a larger age span between children, you might toss up general questions to all, but throw in…. Now, this toss up is just for Adam… and then ask a question tailored for the younger child. This game was a huge hit with our children when they were ages two through five, but even now that they are 11 and 13, every now and then we hear – Hey Daddy – give us some toss ups…. Believe me, trying to come up with questions for smart middle-schoolers is tough!!

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
