Tonight the Pistons tied up their series with the heat at one game a piece. The Pistons outlasted the Heat 92 - 88. Game three is Saturday in Miami at 8 pm est.

The Detroit Pistons fell behind early, and never really seemed to get into a rhythm in this one. Even with Shaq and Dwanye Wade in foul trouble trough out most of the game. The Miami Heat now has a 1-0 series lead. The final score was Miami 91, Detroit 86.

Currently the Detroit Tigers share the AL central lead with the Chicago White Sox. 1993 was the last time the Tigers were in first place this far into the season. I like to think that they'll be able to keep it up throughout the remainder of the season. They were able to move into a 1st place tie with a 7-4 win over the Minnesota Twins, and a White Sox loss to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The departure of Harrington, which has been several months in the making, is finally official. Friday the Detroit Lions traded Harrington to the Miami Dolphins for an undisclosed draft pick. Harrington will most likely be the starter until Dante Culpepper returns from his knee injury.

Although dominating through the third quarter, the Pistons only managed a 6 point victory over the Cavaliers in this one. I would have liked to have seen another blow out, but it just wasn't in the cards tonight. Anyone that's been here before may notice some changes, like the absence of all of my old posts.
