Lindsay Lohan looked like quite the water babe as she stripped off by the pool while relaxing at a Hollywood hotel over the weekend.

The buxom 26-year-old actress put her curves on show in a daring white swimsuit which featured a plunging sheer front.

But her eye-catching look was tainted by blotchy fake tan, which was particularly noticeable around her armpit.

The star regularly has bronzing disasters, but still refuses to embrace the alabaster look.

As she made her way to the pool after a cooling dip, Lindsay covered up somewhat in a white dressing gown and red pumps.

The swimsuit is something of a departure from Lindsay's usual style, with the actress usually favouring bikinis to show off her figure to its full potential.

But perhaps Lindsay is attempting to give herself a bit of makeover, amid reports she is set to star in the next video from eccentric pop star Lady Gaga.

The pair first hit the headlines with their friendship when they enjoyed a night out together at Chateau Marmont.

And now Gaga is said to be keen to sign Lindsay up for the video for one of her new tracks.

Lindsay Lohan has tried a lot of things to escape her own image, which has been battered for years by her legal, personal, and substance difficulties. You may remember that in 2008, she sat for a series of photos in New York Magazine specifically calling back to a Marilyn Monroe shoot six weeks before her death. (Some of those, by the way, are topless photos, so use your judgment if you look at them.)

Lohan's next major effort at reinvention also involves associating herself with an icon who had troubles of her own: she's playing Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, opposite Grant Bowler as Richard Burton.

Lifetime has now released the first image — that's it, up at the top — of Lohan and Bowler in character.

You can tell so little from this — her eyes are closed, her head is back, and it's a still photo. All you are really seeing here is the simplest echoes they're trying to create. Whether Lindsay Lohan can play Elizabeth Taylor is something one might have strong opinions about, but this doesn't tell you very much in and of itself.

It's important to keep in mind that Lohan was thought of as a promising young actress once. She got good reviews for her twinkly performance in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap when she was just a wee little thing. She worked with Robert Altman in A Prairie Home Companion, and she was terrific in Mean Girls, which came out when she was only 17. Remember: everything went sideways after, not before, she became known as an engaging screen performer.

The length and seriousness of the problems in her life off-screen would still seem to make a comeback an uphill proposition, and there's obviously a huge risk here that she will look silly in this film to the point of giving offense, sort of the way a lot of people felt Jennifer Love Hewitt did when she played Audrey Hepburn.

But once again, she's embracing famous imagery of old Hollywood, perhaps hoping that "being" a screen legend will help her actually be one.

Lindsay Lohan tweeted a reminder to herself today, hours after paramedics were called to the starlet’s Marina del Ray, Calif., penthouse by producers of her new movie, “Liz and Dick,” who feared the actress was unconscious after she did not come out of her room as scheduled.

“Note to self…after working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion + 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door…Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down,” @lindsaylohan tweeted.

Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, said the actress was asleep when the call was made. He blamed her inability to wake up on exhaustion and dehydration from long days on set.

“She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning,” he said. “She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration.”

Honig added, “Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office described Lohan’s condition as “groggy” and said she’s “OK as far as we know.”

Lohan has been to rehab multiple times for drug and alcohol abuse. In March, she was taken off probation from her 2007 DUI case.

The actress has had a rough run of late. Last week, she totaled her Porsche by driving it into a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Will reality TV help K.Michelle's career?

It’s no secret that some celebs use reality shows to launch other ventures, and once K.Michelle grabs the attention of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” fans, she plans to keep them hooked.

“One thing R.Kelly told me is that once you get the attention, you have to keep it with the talent,” the Pied Piper protégé told VibeVixen.com.

“My main focus has been my music and it’s not gonna stop. I was signed to a record label, and I hardly got any promo. I can see today that more people are picking up old music like it’s new. I think it’s gonna help me and people get to know who I am and it’s up to me to make sure that the music sticks."

While her New York counterparts, Olivia and Teairra Mari, hope to sign record deals, K.Michelle said she just got out of one, and isn’t eager to go back.

“The point in my career now: do I even want a record deal? I fought out of a record deal, and I haven’t even been out of my deal for a year yet. Now, I’m trying to decide on how I want to put out music and is it time for me to put out music,” she said.

Hopefully, starring on a reality series won’t be a distraction for K.Michelle, who didn’t hesitate to join the show’s cast.

“I knew that I wanted to do the show from New York, because when I saw it, it was about the struggles of women and what they were going through,” she said.

K.Michelle expects her storyline will revolve around her struggles as a single mom.

“My role in the show is just kinda my story about being a single mother and singer who’s just going through the day-to-days of trying to get my career back on track and finding love again,” she explained, also admitting that she’s thought about how her actions will affect her son.

“My biggest concern is not putting him on camera because I didn’t want people to see him. Me and my son have a great relationship,” she said. “I don’t want to take away that privacy from him.”

Although she’s shielding her son, K.Michelle has accepted the fact that she’ll get some negative press.

“The media has to do whatever they have to do to get a story. They never really care how it affects you or your family or your life. At this point, they’re gonna say something about me, but the only thing I really care about is being happy with myself,” she said. “K needs to be happy with K.”

Andy Griffith, an actor whose folksy Southern manner charmed audiences for more than 50 years on Broadway, in movies, on albums and especially on television — most notably as the small-town sheriff on the long-running situation comedy that bore his name — died on Tuesday at his home on Roanoke Island in North Carolina. He was 86.

His death was confirmed by the Dare County sheriff, Doug Doughtie.

Mr. Griffith was already a star — on Broadway in “No Time for Sergeants” and in Hollywood in Elia Kazan’s film “A Face in the Crowd” — when “The Andy Griffith Show“ made its debut in the fall of 1960. And he delighted a later generation of television viewers in the 1980s and ’90s in the title role of the courtroom drama “Matlock.”

But his fame was never as great as it was in the 1960s, when he starred for eight years as Andy Taylor, the sagacious sheriff of the make-believe town of Mayberry, N.C. Every week he rode herd on a collection of eccentrics, among them his high-strung deputy, Barney Fife, and the simple-minded gas station attendant Gomer Pyle. Meanwhile, as a widower, Andy raised a young son, Opie, and often went fishing with him. “The Andy Griffith Show,” seen Monday nights on CBS, was No. 4 in the Nielsen ratings its first year and never fell below the Top 10. It was No. 1 in 1968, its last season. After the run ended with Episode No. 249, the show lived on in spinoff series, endless reruns and even Sunday school classes organized around its rustic moral lessons.

The show imagined a reassuring world of fishin’ holes, ice cream socials and rock-hard family values during a decade that grew progressively tumultuous. Its vision of rural simplicity (captured in its memorable theme song, whistled over the opening credits) was part of a TV trend that began with “The Real McCoys” on ABC in 1957 and later included “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “Petticoat Junction,” “Green Acres” and “Hee Haw.”

But by the late 1960s, the younger viewers networks prized were spurning corn pone, and Mr. Griffith had decided to leave after the 1966-67 season to make movies. CBS made a lucrative offer for him to do one more season, and “The Andy Griffith Show” became the No. 1 series in the 1967-68 season. But Mr. Griffith had decided to move on, and so had the times. “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In,” with its one-liners about drugs and Vietnam, and “The Mod Squad,” about an integrated trio of undercover officers, were grabbing a new audience.

But the characters in “The Andy Griffith Show” — Barney (Don Knotts), Gomer (Jim Nabors), Opie (Ron Howard, who went on to fame as a movie director), Aunt Bee (Frances Bavier) and the rest, including Gomer’s cousin Goober Pyle (George Lindsey, who died in May) — have remained tantalizingly real to their fans, who continue to watch reruns on cable TV and online.

Andy Griffith was more complex than Andy Taylor, although the show was based on his hometown, Mount Airy, N.C. Before he fetched up in Mayberry, he was known for bringing authenticity to dark roles, beginning with the lead in “A Face in the Crowd,” in 1957, the story of a rough-hewn television personality who, in the clutches of his city-slicker handlers, becomes something of a megalomaniac.

From the 1970s to the 1990s, Mr. Griffith starred in no fewer than six movies with the words “murder” or “kill” in their titles. In 1983, in “Murder in Coweta County,” he played a chillingly wicked man who remains stone cold even as he is strapped into the electric chair.

Sheriff Taylor aside, Mr. Griffith was no happy rustic; he enjoyed life in Hollywood and knew his way around a wine list. His career was tightly controlled by a personal manager, Richard O. Linke.

“If there is ever a question about something, I will do what he wants me to do,” Mr. Griffith told The New York Times Magazine in 1970. “Had it not been for him, I would have gone down the toilet.”

Far from the gregarious Andy Taylor, Mr. Griffith was a loner and a worrier. He once hit a door in anger, and for two episodes of “The Andy Griffith Show” he had a bandaged hand (explained on the show as an injury Andy received while apprehending criminals).

But the show’s 35 million viewers would have been reassured to learn that even at the peak of his popularity, Mr. Griffith drove a Ford station wagon and bought his suits off the rack. He said his favorite honor was having a stretch of a North Carolina highway named after him in 2002. (That was before President George W. Bush presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2005.)

He was also gratified to find his character ranked No. 8 on TV Guide’s list of the “50 Greatest TV Dads of All Time” in 2004. (Bill Cosby’s Dr. Cliff Huxtable was No. 1.) But one honor denied him was an Emmy Award: he was nominated only once, for his role in the TV movie “Murder in Texas.” “The Andy Griffith Show” itself, though nominated three times, also never won an Emmy, but Mr. Knotts did — five times — for his performance as Deputy Fife, and so did Ms. Bavier, once, as Andy’s aunt.

Andy Samuel Griffith was born in Mount Airy on June 1, 1926, the only child of Carl Lee Griffith and the former Geneva Nann Nunn. His father was a foreman at a furniture factory. Mr. Griffith described his childhood as happy, but said he never forgot the pain he felt when someone called him “white trash.”

After seeing the trombonist Jack Teagarden in the 1941 film “Birth of the Blues,” he bought a trombone from Sears, Roebuck & Company, then wheedled lessons out of a local pastor, who later recommended him to the University of North Carolina, where he won a music degree and married Barbara Edwards.

He moved on to singing, and for a while hoped to be an opera singer. He tried teaching music and phonetics in a high school but left after three frustrating years. “First day, I’d tell the class all I knew,” he told The Saturday Evening Post in 1964, “and there was nothin’ left to say for the rest o’ the semester.”

In spare moments Mr. Griffith and his wife put together an act in which he posed as a country preacher and told jokes (one was about putting frogs in the baptismal water) while she danced. They played local civic clubs.

In 1953, performing for an insurance convention, Mr. Griffith, in his bumpkin preacher persona, told a comic first-person tale about attending a college football game and trying to figure out what was going on. Some 500 discs of the monologue were pressed under the title “What It Was, Was Football,” and it became a hit on local radio. Mr. Linke, then with Capitol Records, scurried to North Carolina to acquire the rights and sign Mr. Griffith.

Mr. Linke was soon guiding him onto television and nightclub stages. But Mr. Griffith’s big break came on Broadway, in 1955, when he was cast in “No Time for Sergeants” as a mountain yokel drafted into the Air Force — a role he had played on television, on “Playhouse 90.” The play was a hit, running for almost two years, and he reprised the role for the 1958 film version.

His first movie role, in “A Face in the Crowd,” was far more complicated. The character, Larry Rhodes, known as Lonesome, is a vagrant who is discovered playing the guitar in an Arkansas jail and then groomed to become a beloved television star, only to be undone by his dark side. Mr. Griffith told The New York Times Magazine that he was so consumed by the stormy character that it affected his marriage.

“I’ll tell you the truth,” he said. “You play an egomaniac and paranoid all day and it’s hard to turn it off at bedtime. We went through a nightmare.”

In 1959, Mr. Griffith returned to Broadway in the musical comedy “Destry Rides Again,” in a role that had been played in films by Tom Mix, James Stewart, Joel McCrea and Audie Murphy. Though reviews were mixed, Newsday declared, “There isn’t a more likable personality around than Andy Griffith.”

The pilot of “The Andy Griffith Show,” in February 1960, was actually an episode of “The Danny Thomas Show” in which Mr. Thomas, as Danny Williams, is arrested by a sheriff for running through a stop sign while driving through Mayberry.

Danny baits the sheriff, calling him “hayseed” and “Clem.”

“The name ain’t Clem, it’s Andy, Sheriff Andy Taylor!” he responds.

Sheldon Leonard, producer of Mr. Thomas’s show, had decided to build a sitcom around Mr. Griffith after seeing him in “Destry.” Mr. Griffith negotiated for 50 percent ownership, which gave him a large say in the show’s development.

Critical to the show’s success was the casting of Mr. Knotts as the inept but lovable Barney Fife. So was the simple but appealing formula: characters would confront a problem, then resolve it by exercising honesty or some other virtue.

When Mr. Knotts left the show in 1965, a year after Mr. Nabors, Mr. Griffith became “nervous” about its future, he said. But though some critics and viewers said the show in its later years lacked the sparkle it had once possessed, its ratings never tottered.

Still, after the 1967-68 season, Mr. Griffith had had enough and left the show. But he did produce a kind of sequel series for the following season, “Mayberry R.F.D.,” with Ken Berry starring as a widowed farmer alongside many of the regular characters from “Andy Griffith.” It ran three seasons.

Mr. Griffith’s acting career stalled afterward, despite a five-year deal with Universal Pictures. He said he was not offered roles he wanted to play. Returning to television in 1970, he starred in two short-lived shows, “The Headmaster” and “The New Andy Griffith Show.”

Then came a raft of made-for-TV movies. One, “Diary of a Perfect Murder,” served as the pilot for a new series, “Matlock,” in which Mr. Griffith played a rumpled but cagey defense lawyer. The show’s run, from 1986 to 1995, exceeded that of “The Andy Griffith Show.”

Mr. Griffith continued to play occasional movie and television parts, including that of an 80-something widower who rediscovers romance, and sex, in a nursing home in “Play the Game.”

He never lost his singing voice. In 1996 he recorded a gospel album, “I Love to Tell the Story: 25 Timeless Hymns,” which won a Grammy.

In 2010 he showed a political side when he extolled President Obama’s health care legislation in a television commercial for it. Republican politicians and conservative talk show hosts leapt on him, and Jon Stewart made boisterous fun of the brouhaha on “The Daily Show.”

Mr. Griffith’s marriage to Barbara Edwards, in 1949, ended in divorce in 1972. An eight-year marriage to the Greek actress Solica Cassuto ended in divorce in 1981. In 1983, he married Cindi Knight, who survives him, as does a daughter, Dixie Griffith. A son from that marriage, Andy Jr., known as Sam, died in 1996.

To viewers, Mr. Griffith’s portrayal of the sheriff seemed so effortless, they presumed he was just playing himself. He wasn’t, he insisted; he was always acting. But he took that misimpression as a compliment to his artistry.

“You’re supposed to believe in the character,” he said. “You’re not supposed to think, ‘Gee, Andy’s acting up a storm.’ “

If the 3-D documentary “Katy Perry: Part of Me” can be trusted, the record-setting pop star is not just a blue-haired doll-person but also a goofy, sweet and spacey-yet-savvy singer whose main concern is turning average people into candy-coated smile flowers.

As a piece of pro-Perry propaganda, the entertaining and disarmingly poignant movie from directors and reality television vets Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz is a startling success. Although there are moments when the filmmakers’ fingerprints are nearly visible on the manipulated putty of an audience, the scenes aren’t enough to break the fruit-flavored spell.

The main thread of the movie follows the “Firework” singer during 2011. It was a particularly eventful year for Perry, who globe-trotted for her sold-out California Dreams Tour and also ended her 14-month marriage to scraggly British comedian Russell Brand. Backstage footage shares screen time with concert numbers, old home movies and interviews that chronicle Perry's relatively slow rise to success. It's a compelling story that mixes onstage moments — including the terrifying spectacle of screaming, crying fans — and behind-the-scenes glances, such as Perry's visit to her brassy grandmother, who is humorously less sugary sweet than her progeny.

Perry’s back story as the gospel-crooning daughter of Pentecostal ministers makes for a diverting plot, especially considering her first smash hit, “I Kissed a Girl.” The singer’s thwarted attempts at fame after moving to Los Angeles are equally absorbing. She comes across as smiley yet scrappy, the little engine that could write enough rousing hits to soundtrack a super-size spinning class.

Most noteworthy is the film’s ability to summon emotion. In a bit of dramatic irony, thanks to People magazine and Us Weekly, the audience knows Perry’s marriage is over while she’s still murmuring on-screen over having found the love of her life. Celebrity marriages, with their orchestrations and short life spans, can seem trivial, but the breakup actually causes a palpable sorrow.

Of course, discussions of the divorce feel awfully one-sided. There are frequent mentions of Perry’s long-haul trips to visit her husband, although he purportedly didn’t return the favor. It’s just one example of the filmmakers’ more overt machinations, which tend to distract, raising questions about what’s real and what’s hyperbole.

Speaking of drawbacks, the use of 3-D doesn’t add much to anything but ticket prices. A few moments during the concerts, when lasers or a spray of whipped cream make a convincing entry into the audience, aren’t enough to warrant wearing special glasses for 90 minutes. Besides, Perry doesn’t need any help popping off the screen, whether she’s wearing a costume with a pair of eye-catching spinning peppermints or headgear to embody her dorky alter ego, Kathy Beth Terry. She isn’t afraid to look like a goofball, which might be why her army of devotees adores her.

But fan or not, it’s hard not to give in to Perry’s endearing charms. The filmmakers clearly want the audience to like the singer -- and is that such a bad thing? She is, after all, cute as a cotton-candy-pink button.

But Coco Austin decided to take matters into her own hands when her bicycle chain came off during a riding session in Bruce Springsteen's old haunt Asbury Park, New Jersey.

The mechanically minded glamour model flipped over her bike, quickly ascertained the problem, then carried out a roadside repair.

And Ice T's 33-year-old wife was soon back on her pride and joy and getting in a fun and relaxing beachside workout on the pier.

Most people would think she would have not been short of offers to fix her problem, but it seems it is hard to find a saint in the city.

The Ice Loves Coco star donned a typically racy blue spotted bikini for her visit to the beach,which she twinned with some stacked heels that are far from ideal riding footwear.

But she did not seem to mind, and in fact used the ride as an opportunity to show off her latest adorable bulldog Maximus.

The pup is the son of her first pooch Spartacus, who joined the duo for a walk on the pier.

The New Jersey is famed around the world as the launch pad for Bruce Springsteen's musical career.

He would regularly play the beachside clubs with a variety of bands, and even named his first album Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ.

His seminal second album The Wild, The Innocent and the E Street Shuffle also featured a song which was a farewell of sorts to the area entitled 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy).

However the music superstar is still often known to pop into iconic local club the Stone Pony to jam out tunes with local bands.

She is a Victoria’s Secret Angel and one of the highest paid models in the world.
So with a body that has turned her into a supermodel, Candice Swanepoel certainly isn’t shy about showing it off.

She also posted two more images from the shoot, which was photographed by Mariano Vivanco.

Another one which is in black and white shows the stunning star perched on a wall while sporting a cream dress that falls off one shoulder while displaying some of Candice’s ample cleavage.

In another, she exposes her toned abs and endless legs in a cropped jumper and high-waisted cut-off denim shorts as she leans against a wall.

The South African beauty posed nude for a new magazine shoot and was so delighted with the results, she couldn’t resist sharing them with the world.

The 23-year-old posted an arty snap of her naked form to her Twitter page to show her nearly 170,000 followers.

The black and white image is part of a shoot for an upcoming issue of MUSE magazine, and Candice wrote alongside it: ‘So so excited for you all to see this issue!’

The photo sees the star leaning back with her golden locks styled into curls and tumbling down her back as she uses her hands to cover her modesty.

Since she was spotted by a model scout aged 15 in a Durban flea market, Candice has taken part in a huge number of photo shoots.

But the blonde bombshell claims this was one of her best yet and she posted on Twitter alongside the images: ‘One of my favorite shoots ever!’

The Forbes Rich List has Candice, who became a Victoria’s Secret model in 2010, among the top ten highest earning models after she brought home £1.9m last year.

It was the end of season wrap party, so you'd think all the stars would ensure they showed up to celebrate another series.

But while all of the TOWIE cast spent the night together in Brentwood hot spot Sugar Hut, Lauren Goodger was in another club in town.

The beautician missed the special bash to party the night away at Faces instead.

Lauren turned up to the venue dressed to impress to show off her hard work slimming down.

She revealed her slimmer figure in a backless top, which she matched with beige wedged heels and figure hugging jeans.

Turning her back on them: She put on a brave face after speaking out about Twitter trolls who have been targeting and bullying her on Twitter

One user even wrote to her: 'You fat kebab legged ogre,' while another wrote: 'Bit of a wedgy going on there luv', just two minutes after she posted a photo up of herself wearing a bikini from the back.

And one even tweeted likening her to larger EastEnders character Heather Trott.
She's also received hate messages including people telling her 'I bet your mum and dad hate you' and 'I bet your mum wishes her egg had never accepted the sperm that made you.'

In response, Lauren told The Sun: 'I’ll get hundreds of responses to anything I post saying things like ‘you’re fat’, ‘you’re ugly’, or ‘who are you?’.

'It can be quite rude and disgusting, too... This just goes too far — it’s bullying. I tell myself these people must have problems of their own to write stuff like this.'

And she insists the only way she deals with it is because she is now body confident and isn't letting the negative messages affect her.

Goodger is now calling for people who are racist or send offensive messages to be outed and have their profiles banished from the site.

The TV star hasn't felt the need to notify the police about any messages yet, unlike Arsenal's Jack Wilshere who closed his Twitter account after online users incorrectly spread allegations he had tested positive for Class A drugs.

But Lauren is all for new laws that are being put in place.

A recent High Court ruling is forcing sites like Twitter to reveal identities of people who are guilty of spreading such hatred and nasty messages.

But Bethenny Frankel confidently strode onto the sand today in a tiny weeny yellow bikini today as she continued to enjoy her endless summer in Miami, Florida.
The 41-year-old former Real Housewives of New York star strolled alongside the shore pairing her skimpy suit with a large floppy hat.

Bethenny was accompanied by a friend and the pair chatted as they went for their walk in the sun.

The reality star's trip to the beach comes after she showed off a pair of dimpled thighs the day before.

The unsightly dimples were most visible when Bethenny hit the pool sporting a plain black bikini.

Bethenny was accompanied to Miami by her husband, Jason Hoppy, although he wasn't present today or either poolside yesterday afternoon.

Along with hitting the beach and pool, Bethenny and Bryn have been on a few outings, heading to Miami's Jungle Island, where they checked out wild animals and even got to pet a monkey.

But Britney Spears seems to prefer a more comedic form of expression when times get tough.
The singer was spotted out and about with her boyfriend, Jason Trawick, in Beverly Hills yesterday as reports of him physically abusing her were published in U.S. tabloid, Star Magazine.

Riding the storm: If Britney or Jason are bothered by Star magazine's report that he has been physically abusing the singer, then they weren't showing it

The couple visited an office building yesterday afternoon and as they drove away they put on quite a show for the cameras.
The singer had arrived at the building separately to her boyfriend, being driven in her white Mercedes jeep by her bodyguard.
On her way there Britney looked pensive and depressed, nibbling on her nails as she stared out the window.

But when she left the building with Trawick it was a whole different Britney in the passenger seat.

Britney, who turns 29-years-old today, looked cute in a green felt fedora hat and a long paisley scarf.
She revealed on Twitter that she is going away for a romantic birthday break.
'Ok, off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday. xoxo Brit,' she wrote.
Star Magazine's report was based on an interview with Britney's childhood friend, Jason Alexander, who she married briefly for 55 hours back in 2004.

The report alleged that Britney had accused Trawick, her boyfriend and former manager, of hitting her, telling Alexander 'he beat on me'.

Enough is enough: At one point Trawick seemed to have had enough with Britney's face pulling, as he leaned over and placed his hand across her mouth

The magazine claimed to have recorded evidence of telephone conversations between Britney and Alexander where she talked about the supposed abuse.
Alexander told the magazine: 'Britney doesn't know what to do or whom to confide in,' adding: 'I'm really concerned for her.'
Star's sister website, RadarOnline posted what was purported to be the recorded tapes but there's been serious questions raised about the tapes authenticity.
TMZ spoke to audio expert Tom Owen who told the website that in his opinion the tape was 'doctored' to such a severe extent, that there's no way to conduct a meaningful voice-recognition test.

Owen also claimed that the tape had been 'stepped on at least three times.' With noise reduction, equalization and removal of voice qualities such as natural timbre, sibilance and tonal qualities, and therefore it's impossible to determine whether it is actually Britney's voice is on the tape.'

Owen also said that Britney has a 'very vanilla voice' and that therefore with manipulation it wouldn't be that difficult to make someone sound like her.
Britney took to her Twitter account today to deny the reports.
'Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!' she wrote.
And her reps immediately hit back at both the magazine and the website, promising legal action and totally denying the validity of the reports and the tapes.
'The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable,' her rep said in a statement.
The spokesman continued by saying: 'every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published.
'The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years.'
And they denied the allegations of abuse.
'Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney.'

It's three days since America went costume crazy for Halloween - but it seems the Kardashian sisters are still in the festive spirit.

Khloe Kardashian was spotted out last night in New York wearing a bizarre fake fur cat/hat contraption that had ears and long side flaps with paws on the end.

And clearly not one to be left out of the puss-inspired fashion parade, sister Kourtney wore some leopard-print cat ears as they both left the Smyth Hotel in New York.

However, yesterday, Kim kept her outfit classy in standard 'It Girl'-issue black, with flat knee length black boots rather than her towering heels for a change as she recovers from a broken toe.

The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have married in a secret ceremony, it has been revealed.

The fame-loving pair, who are Lauren Conrad’s nemeses on the MTV reality show, wed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on November 19.

The couple have long chronicled their tumultuous romance on show.

Heidi, 22, told American magazine US Weekly: 'The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying.'

At the altar, Spencer, 25, told his bride: 'Heidi, from the moment you came into my life, I knew my life would never be the same without you. You are the light in my life like the sun to the earth! Your loving warmth makes me want to be a better person.

'Being with you, I feel complete. I'm honored to even be able to call you my wife. You are the most amazing, loving and caring woman on this planet. I will love you forever and always.'

Neither of their parents were present at the wedding, including Montag’s mother, who has expressed her dislike of smarmy Spencer.

Heidi said: 'I called her right before the ceremony, sort of hinted that something that happened, but her reaction was to ask me if we were breaking up!

'I told her it might be something else, and she said, 'Well, if you ever plan on getting married just know that your stepdad is really upset that you want your father to walk you down the aisle,"' Montag tells Us.

'She was starting so much drama, it kind of pushed me toward wanting to get married without that,' she adds. 'I don't know when I'll tell her.'

Spencer first proposed in 2007 but the pair split after he was caught cosying up with other women at a nightclub. They reconciled in May this year.ReadMore

She's certainly no rock rebel, but Celine Dion appeared to be paying just a little nod to bondage style fashion.

The Quebec born singer took to the stage in a pair of high-heeled shoes with straps which criss-crossed right to the top of her thighs.

It was a look which looked more suitable for the boudoir, as she paired the white strappy shoes with a thigh-skimming white minidress, and huge diamonds which gave the singer a rather racy look .

The 40-year-old singer is the latest celebrity to embrace the trend for 'extreme heels', which was kick-started by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

But even she would most likely have baulked at Celine's outré footwear.

Celine performed in the outrageous outfit in her native Canada as part of her comeback Taking Chances World Tour.

Clearly the singer was taking no chances herself, as last year she was pictured in Las Vegas with what looked like suspiciously hairy legs.
