LUIGI GETS SMUSHY ABOUT GIRLFRIEND ELEANOR...

2013-02-16T05:50:00.002-08:00

Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder have the kind of relationship we dream of on a nightly basis, and now the One Direction star has gone and made us EVEN MORE JEALOUS - by revealing just how smitten he is with his gal pal.

Speaking about El being 'The One', Luigi said: "It's hard to say this early on. I'm still young! But I am incredibly happy at the moment."

While admitting that being away from each other when the 1D boys jet around the globe doing their crotch-thrusty thang can be tough, Louis insists that he and Eleanor are still as happy as ever.

"Maybe sometimes she might think it's a little tough but the good thing is we met each other when I was in the band, so it's all she's ever known really," he told We Love Pop.

"It hasn't been easy, but we both know the commitments I have and that she has with her university course. It works well."

The sassquatch added: "We both trust each other. I spend a lot of time out of the country on tour and she often flies out, so I see her a lot.

"I think the key to a good relationship is being best friends too. I spend more time with her and the band than I do with anyone else."

IS ZAYN MALIK QUITTING ONE DIRECTION?

2013-02-10T06:01:00.000-08:00

Kevin Kane, Getty Images

UPDATE: Phew. One Direction’s PR company addressed rumors, stating: “It’s completely untrue, Zayn isn’t leaving the band.”

Uh oh, Directioners. Rumor has it Zayn Malik may want to leave One Direction. Why would he drop the chance to be in one of the biggest pop acts on the planet right now at their peak?

Celebuzz reports that after that Aussie waitress sold her cheating story — and photos of a sleeping Malik — to a tabloid, the singer has become increasingly withdrawn and reluctant to pursue fame anymore. Malik was reportedly “rocked to his core” when the news broke of his tryst behind Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards’ back, but that his issues started earlier than that.

This isn’t the first time rumors that Malik may leave have emerged, either. Back in August, professional troll, bottom feeder and cyber bully Perez Hilton posted a video of what appeared to be Malik inviting a girl — not Edwards — back to his hotel, leading the singer to quit Twitter and to rumors that he would be the first to leave the band.

Sources say Malik comes from a super tight-knit family, and he hates being away from them for long. With a world tour and a 3D movie to promote in the very near future, that’s going to prove difficult for the token bad boy. As a result, the band’s management has even offered Malik a little extra time off.

An insider said, “There is growing concern among the bosses that Zayn is on the brink at the moment.”

Still, all hope isn’t lost: Every member of One Direction recently signed a three-year contract, so we may have Zayn with us whether he likes it or not.

Taylor Swift Says Harry Styles of One Direction Was a Bad Kisser

2013-01-29T01:49:00.001-08:00

Sounds like Directioners won’t have to worry about a Haylor reunion after all. Taylor Swift has taken to dissing Harry Styles of One Direction now, saying that he’s a terrible kisser. Oh really?

Star (via Hollywood Life) reports that Swift told pals that Styles “kissed like a snail. Eventually Taylor found it hard not to be grossed out.” How does Swifty know what snails kiss like? Is there something we should know?

Maybe that’s why she was accused of being such a prude. Styles was “telling friends Taylor was asexual and wouldn’t let him do anything. She acted really sexy at first, but once she hooked up with him, she only wanted to kiss.”

Initially it was reported that Swift was so worried about her reputation that she wouldn’t put out at all. “Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she’s a wh–e because she dates around that she doesn’t put out,” a pal said. “What she doesn’t get is that the guys keep dumping her because she’s being a prude.”

Another friend concurred, “While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked. Harry is a young boy, with ladies throwing themselves at him and has had a string of relationships with older women.”

Considering Swift was reportedly devastated by the split (even though they were only together for her usual three months), he couldn’t have been too terrible — otherwise she’d be crying tears of joy instead of being rumored to nearing a meltdown!

Maybe Swift, 23, needs an older guy (Styles is only 18) who’s had more practice — and who has more patience.

TAYLOR SWIFT WANTS HARRY STYLES BACK

2013-01-23T05:38:00.000-08:00

Not so fast, Harry Styles fans hoping to get a crack at the One Direction singer following his hyped-up split with Taylor Swift! According to the latest rumors, Swift is angling for a Haylor reunion.

Hollywood Life (via Wetpaint) reports that the pair’s infamous Virgin Islands dustup over the holidays occurred because Styles took a few hours during their vacation to spend some time alone — and when he came back soused a few hours later, he found an enraged Swift, who accused him of cheating. A source claims Swift “called him a d— and accused him of running around with girls,” and added: “He didn’t do anything wrong!”

According to the Byzantine web of anonymous sources responsible for these rumors, Swift fled the islands in order to teach Styles a lesson, thinking he’d follow her. When he didn’t (he was too busy cozying up with Hermione Way), she supposedly backpedaled — sending him a slew of texts that, in a perfect world, will eventually combine to create the lyrics for a hidden bonus track (and eventual No. 1 single, natch) on her next multiplatinum album.

Alas, Styles was reportedly unmoved, refusing to respond because — according to an “insider” — “He thinks she’s too emotional.”

So there you have it, fans — all the latest in Haylor gossip. We’d take it all with a giant grain of salt if we were you, but hey, at least reading it is easier than writing your own fanfic, right?

DID TAYLOR SWIFT LEAK HARRY STYLES BREAKUP SONG ‘I’M ALRIGHT’ THROUGH A DECOY?

2013-01-18T07:05:00.001-08:00

Did Taylor Swift leak a breakup song about her ex Harry Styles through a decoy?

Okay, we’re totally on the fence as to whether this is Swift or not, since it sure sounds exactly like her! It sounds too much like her not to be her.

The singer admittedly, via tweet, hit the studio after her split with One Direction‘s most popular member. Everyone and their grandmother assumed T. Swizzle would swiftly –- pun intended — pen a song about the romance-gone-wrong.

Then, ‘I’m Alright, a song that sounds like a post-split Swift, down to the vocal tones and guitar chords, lands online, and full of intimate detail that sound authentic.

According to Taste of Country, it turns out the song ‘I’m Alright’ was written and performed by a 15-year-old girl from Tokyo who goes by the handle JerseyGreen13. Swift’s lucky number is 13, BTW.

She tweeted: “But I actually tried my very best to write it without saying a single bad thing about Harry Styles.”

The track has exploded on the web, since it sounds SO much like Swift. Could JerseyGreen13 be a decoy to leak the song? Is Swift trying to send secret messages to Styles via song? Did she want to tell her side of the story without trashing him? Is this her romantic way of speaking to him and telling him how much she loves him, through song, her best method of communication?

This could all be carefully calculated on Swift’s part. She has showed up to the Golden Globes surprisingly pulled together. Yes, that makes her a consummate professional, but after her split with Styles, she has to be wrecked. She truly looked truly happy with him. For her part, looking good and living well seems to be the best revenge.

We’re also baffled as to why a talented songwriter like JerseyGreen13 hasn’t been snatched up by a label to be the next Taylor Swift? Is JG13 real? We can envision Directioners and Swifties trying to decode the meaning in that name from details in the Haylor romance.

It feels almost too good to be fake. Like we get the fan fiction phenomena but this is over the top. This is an actual song, a piece of art, with lyrics that make us go, “OMG, how sweet, Harry sang Stevie songs to Tay Tay! Which ones?!” It’s that good and authentic-sounding.

Taylor Swift Is Back in the Studio After Breaking Up With Harry Styles of One Direction

2013-01-13T10:46:00.004-08:00

And so it begins!
Taylor Swift revealed that she’s back in the studio, fresh off her split with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.
Swift tweeted about it, the same way she tweeted cryptically post-breakup with Styles:

This is probably bad news for Styles, who is supposedly very sensitive and upset over the bust up. The couple’s whirlwind romance came to an end right around the time most of Swift’s relationships do: About the three month mark.
“They are both really busy and never in one place for long. Harry’s really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it,” pals said. “Loads of [Harry's] friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it’s fallen apart so quickly.”
The pair broke up during a vacation in the British Virgin Isles — after which Styles consoled himself with Hermione Way, but ultimately nothing came of it. The couple reportedly had a huge fight, but no one knows over what … but we bet we will when the song comes out.

IS TAYLOR SWIFT'S DESIRE TO HAVE A BABY SCARING HARRY STYLES AWAY?

2013-01-12T02:52:00.000-08:00

According to sources,Taylor Swift wants to have a baby in her 20's . Now that she is 23 the baby clock is ticking. She has been seen oogling over baby Lux ,One Direction's hair stylist's baby girl and other babies. Could this be scaring Harry a little since his is only 18?

Country singer Taylor, who turned 23 this month, is said to want to have a baby as soon as possible as she doesn’t want to be an older mother.

However, 18-year-old Harry, who has only been dating Taylor for a matter of weeks, is said to be “freaked out” by the singer’s wishes.

A source told OK! Magazine: “Taylor loves babies [and] would like to have a child of her own while she’s still in her 20s.”

"The I Knew You Were Trouble " singer’s parental aspirations are said to have caused problems with her ex Conor Kennedy, from whom she split in October, and it seems Harry is struggling to cope too.

The source added: “Every time she goes gaga over a baby, he struggles not to flip out.

“There’s no way he’s even remotely interested in having a baby. He’s a good 10 years away from something like that.”

However, Taylor’s reps have attempted to put a stop to the rumours of Harry’s baby fears telling Gossip Cop that such reports are not true.

ONE DIRECTION ARE WATCHING SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU TWEET!

2012-11-16T06:27:00.000-08:00

Uh oh, Directioners…. you guys better be careful what you’re saying about the band on social media!

One Direction members Niall Horan and Harry Styles have gone to such great lengths to see what their fans are saying about them, that they’ve decided to create fake Twitter profiles in order to spy on their biggest fans!

According to a source, the guys like to do what they’ve called “research” about what fans think of them, and even interact with their unsuspecting fans via the social networking site by asking them questions and engaging in conversations.

Harry and Niall like to get personal with the fans, but it’s hard to talk one-on-one with them without being cyber-mobbed,” said the source. “So in the last few months they’ve started using pseudonyms to befriend their fans on twitter. They have no idea the strangers they’re talking to are actually their idols.”

If you’re a big 1D fan, then keep an eye out for strangers starting conversations with you! But be warned, because the guys are so on top of their research, that they often change usernames every few weeks to avoid confusion.

“They find out what fans enjoy most at the gigs and which songs they like and don’t like. It’s also a good place to hear what the latest rumours are. They say it helps them kill time as well when they’re waiting in hotels and airports around the world,” said a source via The Daily Star newspaper. “Harry does it the most. He loves finding out what the fans really think.”

How awesomely scandalous!

ONE DIRECTION'S MUMS ARE CONCERNED OVER BOYS TATTOO ADDICTION

2012-11-12T07:43:00.000-08:00

Do you think that One Direction boys are getting way too many tattoos? Do we want to see them covered in tattoos. One Direction's mums are not pleased with the ongoing need for the boys to keep getting more tattoos. Niall Horan is the only one of the group that is tattoo free. What are their mums concerned about?

One Direction's Harry Styles, 18, and Zayn Malik, 19, have been competing to get the "coolest" tattoos. And sources say that the competition has been ramped up to the point that Styles wants to surpass Malik in having the most tattoos in the group. Styles' latest tattoos are two identical birds on his chest on November 8, 2012. He tweeted photos of the tattoos.
Speculation he chose"swallows" because they are always on the go and travel like our band and return home safe or represent finding your soul mate.

Just hours after Styles got inked with the bird tattoos, One Direction's Malik and Louis Tomlinson, 20, got new tattoos on their arms at Shamrock Tattoos in West Hollywood, California.

But not everyone is loving the fast rate that members of One Direction have been getting tattoos. An insider tells me that Styles' mother, Anne Cox, is "very concerned at what Harry is doing to his body in such a short period of time, but since he's an adult, there's nothing that she can do about it. She's talked to Harry about it, but he's determined to get as many tattoos as he wants." (One of Styles' tattoos is of the letter "A" that he got in honor of his mother. Malik drew that tattoo.)

The insider adds that Styles and Malik are "definitely addicted to getting tattoos. No one knows yet how far their addiction will go. Zayn's mother has concerns too, but she's not worried as Harry's mother is. Harry is very competitive. He wants to be number one in everything he does, so the same goes for getting tattoos."

There used to be a time when it would be scandalous for teen idols to get so many tattoos, but times have definitely changed. Sources say that the only rule that One Direction's management has about the tattoos is that none of the guys in One Direction gets any tattoos on his face.

One Direction's Liam Payne, 19, recently got a tattoo on his neck. Payne told "Extra" that his mother "is not going to be very happy at all" about him getting the tattoo. He added, "She's going to be very cross."

So far, One Direction's Niall Horan, 19, has been the least caught up in One Direction's tattoo fever. He has said in interviews that he thought about getting certain tattoos, including the slogan "Made in Ireland" (in a nod to his Irish heritage) and a bar code. But in the end, he said that he just didn't want to go through the process of getting tattooed.

ARE TAYLOR SWIFT + ONE DIRECTION’S HARRY STYLES EVER (EVER) GETTING BACK TOGETHER?

2012-11-11T01:27:00.000-08:00

There’s one track on Taylor Swift‘s juggernaut album ‘Red’ that we can now all agree wasn’t about Harry Styles of One Direction: ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ may not apply to him. Why? Some eagle-eyed Directioners and Swifties revealed the pair may still be close.

Swift, who recently split with Conor Kennedy and was rumored to be getting cozy with collaborator and futuretour mate Ed Sheeran, has been spotted prancing around London wearing a paper airplane necklace. Harry Styles also rocks the same piece of jewelry pretty often, but hasn’t been seen with it lately — it’s conspicuously absent from his recent shirtless photos showing off his new tattoos. Could Swift be wearing Hazza’s own chain?

The oft-lovesick Swift’s choice in accessories may lend credence to recent rumors of her and Harry briefly dating in the spring. “Taylor really liked Harry and even though they weren’t exclusive, he hinted at making it official with her just before he took off to Australia,” a source said. “He even told Taylor he didn’t want her to see anybody else while he was gone.”

However, notorious womanizer Styles may have shattered poor little Swifty’s heart when he was photographed with model Emma Ostilly in the Land Down Under. “Taylor had all these texts from Harry begging for a chance to explain and telling her not to believe everything she reads,” the source added. “She immediately Googled Harry and found all the stories and pictures of him kissing Emma. She was heartbroken.”

Last month, Swift was rumored to have scheduled — then abruptly canceled — a private dinner with a member of 1D. It’s safe to assume that member was Styles. As for whether or not they’re reuniting, we’re not so sure. Swift’s “woman scorned” track record doesn’t bode well for Styles. Maybe she just likes the way the necklace compliments her retro-chic new wardrobe.

ONE DIRECTION ANNOUNCE ‘KISS YOU’ AS NEXT SINGLE

2012-11-11T01:07:00.000-08:00

A lot of girls melted when ‘Little Things’ by One Direction came onto our radars, but it turns out that the Ed Sheeran-penned acoustic ballad isn’t their second official U.S. single from ‘Take Me Home.’ That title goes to ‘Kiss You,’ the second track off of their sophomore album (and the one that inspired its title).

The song has a pop-punky feel to it, and will likely lead teens and tweens everywhere to pogo their hearts out — though many of them probably never heard of the term “pogo.” It’s a fun song about a crush, with the boys telling the object of their affection that they want to show her off to see their pals “drooling on their chinny-chin-chins.”

Billboard reports that ‘Kiss You’ is slated to hit radio Nov. 16, just days after ‘Take Me Home’ hits shelves on Nov. 13. You can stream the full album (minus bonus tracks) on iTunes.

It appears that ‘Little Things’ will follow in the footsteps of the ‘Up All Night’ single ‘Gotta be You,’ a ballad that was released as a second U.K. single but not released to stateside radio — which appears to prefer the band’s more upbeat, sugary tunes. The band performed ‘Little Things’ and ‘Live While We’re Young’ on ‘X Factor‘ last night (Nov. 8), making hearts melt — and now with ‘Kiss You’ hitting airwaves, they’re poised to warm up radio as well.

Harry Styles of boy band One Direction landed in LA on Tuesday evening November 6th. Looks like Harry can't wait to head to the tattoo parlor. Harry's latest tattoos brought his body art count up to a whopping 24, it looks like the One Direction singer already is back at it again. Harry was spotted at Shamrock Tattoo Parlor, a Los Angeles tattoo shop known for catering to a celebrities. What is Harry getting now?

Although it appears that Harry did get a new tattoo, a photo revealing the new ink has yet to be released, leaving fans to guess what it might be. Some are speculating that the 1D singer completed the "things I can" and "things I can't" tattoos on his arm. Looks like Harry's newest tattoo is something on his chest.

Watch Zayn Malik Teaser for One Direction ‘Little Things’ Video

2012-11-04T03:17:00.000-08:00

Any Directioner worth her salt knows that One Direction will premiere the video for the contemplative ballad ‘Little Things’ on Nov. 2. It’s only a couple days away and anticipation is high, especially since the heartfelt song is a bit of a left turn, as it follows the super bouncy first single, ‘Live While We’re Young.’ The band’s creative countdown leading up to the clip features super short teasers with each member and today’s footage focuses on Zayn Malik.
The song is heavy and serious, showing the more thoughtful side of 1D, and the black and white video looks to follow that mood. However, Zayn keeps things light, mood-wise, in his clip, making a goofy, rubbery face and hanging with his 1D boys. But Zayn still looks drool-inducing with his well-coiffed hair, his leather jacket and hoodie! So stylish, and such a heartthrob.
We’re not quite sure what that object he is shaking is. It looks like a rocket-shaped thermos of some sort. Whatever is, he’s having fun treating it like a Shake Weight.
It’s an effective little taste of what’s to come and certainly leaves us wanting more. Uh, Nov. 2, can you hurry up and get here so we can ingest and digest the video and full, with ALL the members of 1D?

The X Factor’s Union J tell heat exclusively: ‘We want to be bigger than One Direction’

2012-11-02T04:15:00.002-07:00

If any band other than The X Factor’s Union J dared to say they wanted to be bigger than One Direction, we'd think they had ideas waaaaaaaay above their station.
But these dashing young fellas – George Shelley, 19, Josh Cuthbert, 20, Jaymi Hensley, 22, and JJ Hamblett, 24 – are heading in the right direction if they want to follow in 1D’s footsteps, despite being in the bottom two on Sunday.
In an exclusive interview with heat, Josh tells us: “I’m not sure it’s possible to be any bigger than One Direction, but that would be amazing – that would be the dream.”

There are constant hordes of screaming girls lined up outside their London hotel, the Corinthia, (they've even had to increase security!) which is making Union J’s mentor Louis Walsh believe that Simon Cowell sees them as a “threat” to the Live While We’re Young lads.
“It’s amazing for someone so powerful to be threatened by you, but I’m not sure if Louis is just winding us up!
“If we can be half as successful as One Direction, we’ll be chuffed.”
However the boys are keen to emphasise that they’re not trying to copy 1D.
“What make us different to One Direction? Um, we’re a four-piece, they’re a five,” jokes JJ.
“No, we do different music. We’re just different.” Josh adds.
“They’re very young-poppy. We’re a bit like a young Maroon 5.”

George’s Harry Styles-esqu ‘do

One thing that does strike us as similar about Union J and 1D is a certain member’s hairdo.
George reveals to heat that he recently resisted pressure to cut off his trademark ‘do after advice from Harry Styles himself.
“He just said, ‘Don’t do it’, so I listened to him.”
But who has the nicer locks – George or Harry?
“He does, doesn’t he?” says George. His hair is famous!”

Brace yourself, Demi Lovato: It looks like Niall Horan of One Direction has found love elsewhere!
The Mirror reports that Horan is dating a 20-year-old drama student named Amy Green. She’s a super pretty brunette — she reminds us of bandmate Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, but with blue eyes. Spies caught the pair getting cozy at a recent ‘X Factor U.K.’ event. “Niall was introducing Amy to people as his girlfriend and they were very happy from the look of things,” the source said. “He was kissing and cuddling her when people weren’t watching and seemed really into her. She was very posh and I have to say they seemed like a great couple. It’s definitely early days but Amy was on his arm as a girlfriend not just a girl friend.”
Oooh, juicy! Did Niall say anything about the love connection? Nope. Despite blabbing about his and Lovato’s mutual crushes on one another, he was tight-lipped about Amy and refused to comment. However, a pal told the tab, “They’re dating — it’s early days but they’re very cute together.” As much as we hate to admit it, we agree. Look at how adorbs they look!
Though we do think they’re precious, we’re a bit bummed that Niall and Demi aren’t an item. Earlier this month the pair were said to be casually dating and trying to work in Skype sessions around their hectic schedules. But with a gal back home in London — who doesn’t seem to have as insane an itinerary as Demz does — it makes sense that it’d be a more manageable relationship.

Well, Liam Payne gets his first tattoo and Louis Tomlinson gets one to match Harry Styles and Zayn Malik. Now they all have matching inkings but Irishman Niall Horan. Is Niall going to feel the pressure and get a matching one also. Liam stated on the Late Late show this week in Dublin he said that the best thing about being in One Direction is you get to sing, travel around the world and hang with your four best friends.
Louis Tomlinson tweeted earlier today (October 13) that he and Liam Payne got inked during their trip to Dublin this week, choosing a two screw design that Zayn Malik and Harry Styles already have on their bods.
Now the boys are calling on Niall to get in the tattooist's chair so the whole group has the same design. Tomlinson tweeted, "So Me and Liam joined the crew yesterday and got two screw tattoo's on our ankles, now we all have it except Niall! Come on NiallOfficial."
Is Niall scared of the needle? We're sure the boys would be there to hold his hand!
The boys are all big fans of tattoos with Harry in particular having numerous designs including a large star on his arm. As yet though, Niall hasn't joined in the craze. He admitted to nearly losing his tattoo virginity recently but there was a problem with his planned um butt inking!
"Harry and Zayn are going at it with the tattoos. They are covered now. Harry seems to have a different one every day. I was going to get a barcode on my wrist with my date of birth written across it. To be fair, I don't even know if I really wanted it, " Niall tells The Sun.

Louis' tattoo
"I decided to get Made In Ireland in green on my a**e cheek and I went to the place in L.A. where they do it. Me and the boys went in and they said they wouldn't do it. They said: 'The skin on your a**e is too squidgy. It needs to be tight.'"
"I suspect they actually did me a favour. It wasn't the best idea in the world."
