I have been a member of this site for just over a month. My daily routine is click my 4 ads, its nearly always 4 ads. See what my rented referrals have been up to, hopefully lots of clicking but usually not as much as I want, I am a slave driver. This is the great thing about neobux, you can rent referrals, so far I am renting 133 and making about 70c a day. Have a quick browse of the forums. Some guy just cashed out over $10k. this is obviously my dream, well I want to cash out more. I think I will need a few more rented referrals to achieve that^^

My challenge

See how much money I can make in 730 hours? This blog might have been around for a while.. 2/3 years. But I am still a total novice at making money online. So my challenge is to see how much mula/cash/$$££ I can make using 730 of my earth hours. Inconsistency has been my biggest failing. I would spend 5 hours joining sites, writing a little on my blog 1 day, then leave it for months. This does not yield good results. My new strategy is to spend at least 2 hours each day working on my blog. I do not have a clue on how about to achieve my goal(making money online).My grammar kinda sucks, also my spelling.. I just spelt grammar wrong, hehe. Its going to be like throwing a boomerang in the dark, probably won't achieve much, could be funny to watch, maybe even painful but it should be entertaining (for me, at least..hopefully).

My general strategy
Join as many ptc, manual traffic exchanges as possible, maybe a few auto exchanges too, if I'm feeling frisky. Post general nonsense in as many forums as possible, not spam though! Just general nonsense, there's a difference I'm sure. This blog will hopefully show you, what you can achieve online in 1 year, if you put in 2 hours each day, hence the 730 hours time frame. Your results will vary of course, meaning they will probably be better than mine, I hate you, I'm not kidding. Hopefully I will learn something, but probably not. Anyway here goes time to join some PTC, manual traffic exchanges and forums.. wish me luck.

After watching 2 episodes of Rome I am ready to start building my empire again. I have been working my way through the 30 sites on linkreferral to get my traffic. There is so much out there on the interweb I have no idea existed.

Cashcrate, my first find
'Get paid to complete offers' ,There are a lot of free offers to complete, the pay for these offers vary from 0.40c to $1.30. I have just completed a $1.30 task in less than a minute, just registering for a site! Some tasks require a credit card but pay very well, $3 up to $13. I would say about 80% are free to complete tasks. This site won't make you rich, but its a nice find while I was completing a task to generate more traffic for my blog.

Today has been another busy day in my world of blogging.

Trying to build some traffic
Having joined numerous social book marking sites, I am not seeing my traffic increase yet. Perhaps I have joined the wrong ones. Perhaps after commenting on some articles on their sites my traffic may increase.

First up, Bravenet

I forget which blog/site I found this great link from it has so many tools and features. Here is a sample of whats on offer.

Fairly simple to use and jam pack with features and free tools. I have only tried out the traffic builder and am starting to look at their forums. Hoping for good things.

Second up, Linkreferal

Offering free traffic, reviews and more. Just signed up, seemed simple enough, fill in your details, blog/site address, name etc.

They promise: to give you their 'flagship service' to begin with, sounds nice. You just have to look at 30 sites of their members and write up to 5 reviews and get 20-60 guaranteed, targeted visitors by the end of the day. Sounds promising, my site could use 20 visitors.. Lets start

Design 2.0

Yes I have decided to update my design, it is still a work in progress. Looking back, getting the basic page design sorted out before trying to write content, would have been a better way to go.

After seeing many blogs with 3 columns, I decided I wanted 3 columns, you can fit so much more information onto the page, it looks so much better also in my opinion.

The search for the 3 column template, it took a little while and the ever useful google to find. Ok it took me minutes to find it, download it and upload. Many thanks to Thur Broedors for making such a cool template, his site can be found here.

The Plan
So my plan is to see if I can make some money doing this blogging thing. ..

First of I started with google, and typed in those magic words, 'how to make money online'. I got some good results, the most appealing the site called problogger

After years of playing on the internet anything with the word 'pro' in it should be great.I guess 1337blogger might have been even more appetizing name to a computer nerd like myself. Anyhow after looking around the very professional looking site, I kind of suffered from information overload. I found the blogging for beginners section very useful. I haven't even scratched the surface of the wealth of information on this site, but will be making regular return visits.

My Blog log

I found a link for this site through the problogger site mentioned above. This site shows how many people have visited your site, where the users came from and what they clicked. There is also a my blog log community. There seems to be lots of communities for every interest. Mine being making money online, I joined the biggest community with over 2000 members called a blog about money online. With a bit of tweaking I have managed to get my blog log community page high up the search results. In fact I type in money and my page comes up second in the community section, not bad for my first day me thinks. Now to just get more content on this page...
