So thankful to have just received the Gold Cross Female Artist of the year 2014 award from the ICGMA. I want to Thank every one who voted for me. And everyone there at ICGMA for all the love an support! I want to thank all the DJ's for believing in my music and playing it on your stations! Thank you all so much!!
It was one of the best conventions we've had, there was such a spirit of unity between the artist, Love all you guys!!

Hey everybody! I haven't posted in awhile. I've tried to keep up with everyone on face book! - All is well I am booking for this year, and fixing to release a second song off the "Given Love" project titled "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet"- I hope it reaches out there and touches many hearts for Christ! The Lord is leading in so many ways- many new doors are opening up as we grow and go forward!! News ~ We will be doing a video (my first) so... I am very excited about it, the video will feature the title cut song off the project "Given Love" there's so much of a message here we need to get it out there for such a time as this! So stay tuned and look for the video coming soon! And please keep me in your prayers I need and appreciate them more than anything else!

I want to thank all of those who prayed for my family during this time of loss. My father in law went home to be with the lord 7-7-13. We are so thankful he knew the Lord and is with Him in heaven and we have so much comfort in knowing we will see him again in heaven!

Had company over the weekend,one of my dearest friends, we had a great time of fellowship! I was in town and attended my own church service-got my spiritual tank filled up!-it was a precious service! Obstacles...

“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” Hebrews 12:1 & 2

How do we start, keep going, and finish? “Fix our eyes on Jesus and make Him, alone, our focus.”

Obstacles. It seems there are so many of them. We must look to Jesus and keep our eyes on Him, or we will be tempted to quit and give up on what He has entrusted us with – to “win the lost” through our gifts and talents.

Some obstacles can be long periods of waiting, finances, expectations of others, comparing our ministries to the ministries of others, etc. We can lose sight of our own goals if we are not careful.

In the mid 1800’s, my great, great, great grandfather, the late Reverend Amory Nelson Chamberlin, was a missionary to the Cherokee Indians and found himself having to face so many overpowering obstacles in his day – even to the point of having to cut off his own frozen feet with no anesthetic medicine or a doctor present – but he never let this discourage or stop his work for the Lord. (The full story of this man can be found in the Chronicles of Oklahoma, Volume 12, Number 1 and was written by Lon H. Eakes.)

I am so thankful for such a rich family heritage. The story of my great, great, great grandfather amazes me, and has instilled in me a great courage to keep on going – even with all the obstacles I find myself faced with today. With this in mind, I have determined that my number one goal is to keep my eye on THE goal, which again, can be found in Hebrews 12: 1 & 2.

Although I've been at this most my life it's so cool that there is always new days new beginings a new CD a new website a new schedule etc. I'm in that place right now,some old doors are closing and new ones are begining to open, it's all just starting to unfold, it is an exciting place for me as I feel the Lord leading me to new territory, at moments it's scary but I trust in the one who is leading and His plans are for good not for evil a future and hope. I love the verse in Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God.... as I cease striving and quiet my heart and listen I can here that still small voice gently leading and the more I listen and obey the more this sheep knows His voice! Halleujah!
