Bobby - Well, as I said in my letter, I got this system at the end of the golf year. I ended my year with a local course handicap of 16. Right from the start of this year, I could tell things were going to be different. Though I have had my "blow-up" rounds, they have been in the low to mid 90's. However, my scores were much more consistantly in the low to mid 80's. It didn't take long before I broke 80 for the first time in many years. Since then, I have had several in the high 70's. I had also set my goal for the entire year of going from my season-ending 16 to a single-digit handicap on my home course. Right now, I am VERY close. My GHIN is 8.4 and I am a 10 locally. I am hitting an average of 10.7 out of 14 fairways, and am up to an average of 9.2 greens up from 3.6 last year. I also have gone from having three to four 3-putts per round to going three to four rounds between 3-putts.

As I said before, I still have my blow-up rounds where I don't feel like I have had a club in my hands before and/or feel like I am putting with a hockey stick, but they are fewer and further between. So far this year, I have played over 30 rounds and have a high score of 93 and a low of 76. My goal of 75 or less was missed on that round by a fat shot from 178 going for the par-5 18th in 2 and ending up in a ditch that fronts the green.

I want to thank you for this series of DVDs and look forward to future ones. After (not if) I hit my 75 goal, I am not sure what my next will be. I will be 47 of the 19th of June (less than two days at this writing) - is the Senior Tour too much to dream for? Just Kidding ... or am I?!?!

I have been out practicing your swing, I can't believe the improvement in just a couple of sessions.

Hello from downunder.

I felt I must write to you to tell of my golfing successes since buying your book. This week, I have won both the Monday and Wednesday competitions at my club and have now won 5 times since getting "The PurePoint Golf Swing". This is the biggest run of success I have ever had in 50 years of golf and my handicap has reduced from 18 to 14 in the last month. I now feel that my ultimate goal of getting down to my long term handicap of 12 is very achievable.

You might be interested to hear that the concepts which have been the catalysts for my recent success are rotating the right shoulder directly around the spine and staying connected on the downswing.

As I have mentioned to you before, I still cannot use the shorter backswing you promote in your book but you advised me not to worry about it so I don't!! I should appreciate any further input you may be able to provide on this aspect of your system. My problem seems to be that when the left arm is parallel to the ground, I feel as if my shoulders have not turned enough and I then tend to spin out from the top of the backswing.

I stood on the Tee Sat. afternoon and all the hints you talked about kept on popping up in by head ( pull, push, slice and hook )

I had the best round of the year and had the best run of pars ever - 7 in a row on the back nine. Only 1 drop on 17 and ending with a birdie at the last hole.

It was also the best in driving I had this year in 12 out of 14 Fairways. (5/7 first nine and 7/7 back nine) The setup helped and made sense. I used the Iron setup with the driver before . The first 2 Fairways were missed with a bit of a hook but once I made the corrections mentally it went better. This was my lowest score for the last 2 years. 38 front nine and 36 back nine ( needless to say I won the competition on a net 66 from a 8 handicap).

Thanks for the tips and instruction.

Now it is up to me to try and keep it together and try to make my goal I set to myself to make the scratch league team for next year.

I have already ordered the DVD you're talking about in your orginal message! I also bought the two others and I want to thank you sincerely for what you do for golfers!

Last Sunday, on father's day, for the first time in my life, I broke the 90 barrier (89 to be exact - I'm normally playing around 97-98), just applying your short game concept and being sure that I'm doing my pre-shot routine properly on each shot!

I still have to practice to be more consistent at this aspect of the game, but so far, the results are great!

Besides, I'm anxious to apply the full swing and the consistency off the tee. I just need time to go to the practice range and also to listen to your DVDs again anda gain to put all this stuff into my brain!

In any case, I'm a true believer of your methods and I hope to improve some more in the future!

This is the greatest information that I have connected with about a golf swing. I have order other DVD & tapes, taken lessons, but your information is so easy to understand and WORKS so well. I have lowered my score by 10 strokes after watching your DVD three times and range practice twice. I was always shooting in the low 100 and the fist time out I shot 90 and missed a couple of putts that lipped out, but the greatest thing was that I beat my regular buddies for the first time. The second time out, was in a best ball scramble and we used 90% of my shots and had a closes to the pin and longest drive. I can't thank you enough for this information. I stumbled across your simple swing website and was very skeptical at first thought, ...well i went on to watch the simple swing setup so i grabbed a PW and setup like that here in my computer room, the thing about the spine as an axis makes sense (i work full time as a paid firefighter/EMT so medically speaking it makes sense as well) my backyard is a school softball field, so next day i went out and was hitting balls...lets say right now my hybrids are goin on ebay, i dont need 'em cuz i can hit my 4 iron great!!!! im 25 and have only really been playing for about 3 yrs now and i shot in the low 90's in the past...this year since making my swing setup more ''simple'' i've been in the 80's...

An alternative way to split the sixes Score round three players.In this game, six players each hole is a priori win. [1] [2] (the lowest score) networks in the four points, second place, taking into account not only the winner of the two.

If the first is to halve, points are divided into 3-3. in the event of a tie in the second place in the course of the second share points, so the final result is a 4-1-1. three way tie for first with 2-2-2.

I suppose this actually could play, but two or four points does not share quite so neatly.

Hugo Chavez is the nut of the highest order, but this time even he has gone too far: he wants to appropriate Government of Venezuela's Golf:

Vardon Trophy and Byron Nelson Trophy Past winners

Harry Vardon trophy is the smallest of American PGA Tour players scoring average annual prize. When created in 1937, it was granted on the basis of the introduction of the first.1947-the season onwards, it has done for the calculated average. in 1980, it had been granted for a period of not less than 60 round scoring average and in 1988, and customize for at least 60 firearm scoring averages.

Byron Nelson is a PGA Tour equivalent. it was granted for the first time in 1980 and currently, shall be adopted in accordance with the lowest average adjusted scoring at least 50 with a firearm.

The two winners are not always the same, such as the chart below.

Tiger Woods (who else) is the most trophies with eight Vardon; and nine Byron Nelson, Lee Trevino and Awards. Billy Casper has five Vardons.Greg Norman has five Byron Nelsons.

Interestingly, most all of them, Jack Nicklaus has not.

Jim Furyk has taken over the course of the year honors ~~Tiger Woods Award~~-Player on the strength of his three wins, including the Tour Championship. [1] [2] also pocketed Furyk 10 million dollar FedEx Cup winner, regardless of which company should be considered part of the reason (other than the 10 million dollars).

In addition, one of my faves, Matt Kuchar, won the Arnold Palmer Award-the world's leading provider of money for a list of more than $ 100,855 runners Jim Furyk. Kuchar was also the smallest adjusted scoring average this year, Edging Steve Stricker 5/100 points. This qualification him American PGA Vardon trophy and the PGA Tour Byron Nelson award.Both of these shall be adopted in accordance with the player to the lowest adjusted scoring;the difference is he, the minimum number of rounds. you must be a member of the American PGA PGA Tour fifty, sixty. Now the difference is a difference, without.

Kuchar and Furyk and receive derogations to take five years to earn the Tour text message (not that either of them have trouble doing anyway).

I think there is a healthy that someone other than Tiger Woods to win these honors. [1] [2] the tour is someone other than a Tiger to capture the attention of the public.I am convinced that the Tiger ever is the same.

PGA Tour-managing Harding Park

PGA Tour and the City of San Francisco have agreed to add historic Harding Park Tour TPC Network:

City of San Francisco and the PGA TOUR announced on Wednesday that the historic Harding Park has become a part of the TPC network and management no fee on the PGA golf course properties.
The body is called a 9?-year pursuant to the terms and conditions of the agreement, through the TPC Harding Park. [1] [2] Championship Harding Park Course maintains it is located in cypress tree as part of the entry into force of the revised logo and the creation of a new logo for the course, the port facility, Fleming 9 also.
Although not specifically mentioned in the agreement, the PGA TOUR promised to donate to the incentive bonuses, which operate successfully historical rate, First Tee, San Francisco, First tea (http://www.thefirsttee.org) and which is based on the Fleming 9-course is in the chapter, as well as other local charitable obtained.
The first tee is dedicated to young people's life, impacting the learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and improvement of the life of the World Golf Foundation, a non-profit initiative through the values of the game of golf.

It seems to me that the tour has a plan to bring more events venue.In recent years it has hosted the President's Cup, the World Golf Championship event and most recently, Charles Schwab Championship.

Daly says he played better when Drunk

John Daly said in an interview recently that he played better when he was drunk. [1] [2] from the Charlotte Observer:

Two years have elapsed since the Daly said, he has had a drink.He said that he has worked very hard on his game, despite lingering two broken ribs and separated shoulder suffered when he tried to stop his swing the camera when clicked 2007 effects.
"I've done everything right and the have not had a reason to" darn, Daly said. "It is incredible. I have to give yourself to play good. it seems, the more I work, I get a worse. "

and

Signature in his book, "My Life In And Out Of a tough," Silver pen copies of Daly has been requested, what he has learned that he is through the years.
"That I was happy when I was a lousy drunk. I have been a better when I was drunk," he said.

If we assume that he had a drinking problem, when he won his two large companies — and that he has had to equip two years ago, Daly is as usual, will tell you the truth.

Sad.All of that talent, wasted.

When I read Matt Kuchar had exceeded the PGA Tour money list 2010 $4,910,477 financing conditions, I began to wonder how that feat stacks, historically.On the surface it doesn't show much compared to the splendid $10,905,166 Vijay Singh in 2004, or $10,867,052 Tiger preparoitujen in 2007. [1] [2] but it is certainly displays nautical miles from a $ 6,767, which Paul Runyan earned the "1934 — for the first year the data were retained.

Of course the historical comparison, the problem is that over time, inflation has eroded the value of the dollar to get a real comparison of the player. [1] [2] on earnings is figured in current dollars. To do this, I based recalcuated published inflation.

I stood on the Tee Sat. afternoon and all the hints you talked about kept on popping up in by head ( pull, push, slice and hook )

I had the best round of the year and had the best run of pars ever - 7 in a row on the back nine. Only 1 drop on 17 and ending with a birdie at the last hole.

It was also the best in driving I had this year in 12 out of 14 Fairways. (5/7 first nine and 7/7 back nine) The setup helped and made sense. I used the Iron setup with the driver before . The first 2 Fairways were missed with a bit of a hook but once I made the corrections mentally it went better. This was my lowest score for the last 2 years. 38 front nine and 36 back nine ( needless to say I won the competition on a net 66 from a 8 handicap).

Thanks for the tips and instruction.

Now it is up to me to try and keep it together and try to make my goal I set to myself to make the scratch league team for next year.
