Evening folks. I know it's been a while and as always I have promised in the past to contribute more regularly to this blog, but have failed. Who even reads this thing anyway? Haha. Anyway unless the numbers are somehow skewed, the blog is still getting around 10 views a day (probably thanks to leaked Dark Knight Rises trailer). But anyway, I've found I have a solid amount of free time on my hands lately, so I've decided I'm going to pick up a hobby, something productive. I've been reading more lately (and yes, and actual book, not just articles on the internet) and it's been good for me, but I feel like I need something more. So if anyone actually reads this, feel free to contribute any ideas for great hobbies (possibly ones that I can make money at) and in the meantime, I'll keep my eyes peeled. As for now, I hate just leaving the few readers I have with nothing but a personal piece on my life, so I'll update with the bootlegged Dark Knight Rises trailer with the official one, enjoy!

Christmas and Michael Bublé

So it seems that Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year; people pretty much don't consider Thanksgiving a holiday which is fine in my book considering the holiday is based on Columbus and the Pilgrims kicking Indians off of their land but now has become a day of gorging obscene amounts of food and watching football (I'm not complaining, just saying) and that Halloween ends for most of us at age 10 (minus the drunken college costume parties). So yeah, Christmas season is nearing and the holiday season seems to already be in full swing. My mom enjoys Christmas year round but especially kicks it up in late October and early November with music and certain channels that play movies.

I guess it also started early for me cause I bought Michael Bublé's Christmas album the day it came out in October, but I simply couldn't wait. Anyone who knows me knows of my man crush for Mr. Bublé and he certainly does not disappoint on this album. I'll post a "making of" video for one of my favorite songs below. Normally I'd just post a link to the entire song, but instead I'll just recommend actually shelling put the money for this one and BUYING IT. It's worth it, I promise!

Life After College Sucks...A Lot.

Normally I offer something on this blog that people can actually find useful (for a while I was doing a "free friday" bit), but today it's for venting purposes. First of all to anyone who visits this page whether it be out of boredom or you happen to just stumble upon on it, thank you. A posting about Watsky yesterday helped the blog get 10 views and I know that's not a lot to most, but to me it means someone out there is taking time to read this and I appreciate that. Now, on to the rant.

So yeah, life after college pretty much sucks. In a down economy you most likely won't end up finding a job in your field (especially depending on your degree) and you'll either be unemployed or underemployed. You'll also move back in with your parents who will drive you insane (even if they're cool and you love them to death like I do mine, it's still hard to move back in with them after college). You'll see your college friends a lot less (obviously) especially if you're like me and went to an out of state school. And finally (although I'm sure theres more) the financial burden of loans and helping your parents by taking over your own bills quickly adds up and you'll soon realize how much debt you'll be in for the next 10+ years of your life.

That being said, was it all worth is in the end? YES. You can't put a price on the friends you make and the memories of truly epic parties and other fun times you'll have after 4 solid years of drinking and slacking off. The only bad part of college is that it has to end, but I guess things could be a lot worse and I would rather have lived 4 of the best years of my life then not go to college at all. Now I just need to stumble upon a small fortune and my troubles will be solved (mostly). Until next time folks, keep your head up and take salvation in knowing that if you are one of the majority of college graduates that is unemployed/underemployed and living at home, you're not alone in this world, and that things will get better...eventually.

Hey guys. I know it's been a while since I've updated for you loyal fans visiting the page day after day and for that, I apologize. I got tied up dealing with good old New England weather this weekend. We currently only have power because we have a generator and internet only came back a few hours ago. Since this blog seems to get a few hits a day, I might as well put my youtube channel on here too. I've been watching a guy lately named Phil DeFranco: http://www.youtube.com/user/sxephil?blend=1&ob=4 and he's got a lot of good points on a number of subjects. I've been watching him for a while actually, but just consistently as of late because the guy literally makes a living off of making youtube videos. Literally. I don't feel like I can say that word enough to emphasize how amazing of a job that would be. He's on tour right now in Europe and people just love the shit out of him. He seems like a pretty legit guy, but even his level of fame seems pretty insane for a guy that just post videos on youtube about news topics of the day. Alright so before you see the donation button and start thinking this is some kind of plea, just hear me out. For those of you who dont know, I've recently graduated college and a few months back was able to secure a fill time job in my home town. Now although this job isn't something I'll be doing for the rest of my life, it's good for right now because being able to find full time work in this economy, I acutally consider myself a pretty lucky guy. Ive got a good job making pretty good money and have good benefits to boot. We're actually short staffed so I've been able to work some overtime lately so it's been pretty nice. So, with all of that said, why the donation button you ask? Well I've come to a relization as of late.

Despite the fact that I'm an avid downloader of movies, music and anything I can get my hands on, I also believe that if something is good enough, then the people behind it should be compensated for their efforts. I've always downloaded music and movies, but now that I have a full time job, I'm able to buy good CDs and DVDs I've previously downloaded and believe that they are good enough for my to purchase them (and although nowadays it probably isn't much for everyone involved) give money back to the people that made that product possible.

I've also made some donations to websites whose free product I've been using for years without contributing any sort of money to (wallbase.net and avg.com to name a few). So with all these recent donations and purchases lately, I've decided to put up a donation link on my blog as well, just in case people find it funny or informative enough where they'd like to contribute a little something. Because of this, I will be great strides to update this blog more regularly and keep the masses informed of whatever ridiculous thing I can think up next. The blog still actually gets at least 10 views a day (although I think it's mostly from people googling a picturing and my blog just sort of pops up) but whatever. At least someone somewhere is actually reading this thing and that really is all that matters to me. Well that and the $100 those Corporate Fat Cats at Google semi screwed me out of haha. The Dark Knight Rises

So everyone knows (and by everyone I mean my inner circle of friends) that I'm the guy to come to when it comes to movies. Any questions on new developments, random trivia or just info on any random number of movies my friends will usually ask me first. Hey, we all have our interests and movies are mine. I've got a friend who's the same way except with sports and another with music. You just gotta stick with what you love. Anyway, heres a list of facts I've compiled about the upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises as a way to share some info with whoever stumbles upon this blog and wants to be in the know. After the facts I'll post a possible spoiler about the film, and even though it's just a theory of how I think the last film will play out, it is based on something that happened in the comic books (which have been a source material for the previous two movies). Enjoy.

-First of all, this is going to be the LAST Batman film that Christopher Nolan directs. Does this mean the films will continue with a new director? Possibly, but that would be pretty crappy if they did because this man is a genius. I dont really see there being any way he could be swayed otherwise as hes a man of his word and believes this last film will bring the series to a perfect conclusion (as stated during the teaser trailer "every journey must come to an end" or something similar to that). Also, Christian Bale has said this is his last Batman film and he's done when Nolan is too. Kinda sad, but better than ruining the entire series by having it go on for too long at the orders of greedy movie executives that want to squeeze every last penny from the franchise as possible.

- Cat Woman and Bane will be the two villains of the movie. Any rumors of the Riddler and Penguin have already been squashed by Nolan himself and the villains have already been cast and confirmed. Also, Two-Face is dead the Joker will not return.

- The film will not be shot in 3D (Nolan doesn't like it) but will instead feature several scenes shot in IMAX. Probably not the entire movie but just some large scale scenes like The Dark Knight.

- It's rumored that Liam Neeson who played Ra's Al Ghul from the film will have a cameo in a flashback sequence because Josh Pence has already been confirmed and cast as "Young Ra's Al Ghul".

-Theres most likely going to be a football game in the movie because they've already done some filming at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA. I remember reading somewhere that one of the teams would be the Gotham City Rogues or something like that, but I'm not 100% on that one.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT
In the comic books, Bane ends up breaking Batman's back which confines him to a wheelchair although I'm not sure for how long (I know once you're in a wheelchair, you're usually there for good, but this was in the fictional world of comics after all). Anyway, I could see the Dark Knight Rises ending with Batman defeating Bane, but still getting his back broken, thus bringing his crime fighting career to an end. This has already happened in the comic books (which has acted as a basis for the past few films and this one) and would bring Nolan's series to a tearful, yet solemn, end.

So I figured I'd start writing again because Ive had a good amount of free time on my hands and maybe I can get into writing one day. Something like writing reviews for movies would be sick since I already watch so many anyways, it be nice to see a few for free. Things in my life are good (for those who know who my personally and know I dont have a facebook anymore...again) and I recently secured a full time job (woohoo kinda). "Kinda" meaning its a little depressing to be working full time officially but we've all gotta grow up sometime and at least it's at a good place. So I'm going to rely solely on this website getting traffic from word of mouth and see how many people are actually checking up on it instead of whoring it through facebook like I did the last time. Also I wont be making money from it anymore but itll still be fun to contribute once in a while and like I said, no more whoring haha. I promise to stay off the streets and off your facebook walls, people...for now.

The only insight I can offer is that one day I went to my school's computer lab and logged on from 4 different computers and clicked the Ads each time haha. This gave me over $16 in one day and they must have been able to find out somehow. Oh well, it's been fun and the feedback has been positive so I suppose this wasn't a complete waste of time. And Google did deposit $1.05 into my bank account so I could confirm it with them. Now if I can just turn that into $100 I'd be all set...

Facebook: a blessing and a curse.

So I deactivated my Facebook for the 12,413,249 time and it may stay down for a while now. I can appreciate the good social networking opportunities Facebook provides and the chance to reconnect or stay in touch with friends, but I also really hate it sometimes. I can't stand how seriously people take this shit. Like people that provided the chance would never hang out in person, but for some reason freak out when they think I've deleted them as a friend. Like seriously? It's a fucking website, get over it. You wanna know how I'm doing? How about asking me in person or using my phone number sometime like a normal person to find out instead of just quietly stalking my life on Facebook from your corner of the world. Granted, I don't call or text people all too often, but I also don't freak out if someone deletes me as a friend or recognize within the same hour when someone deactivates their account. It's just ridiculous how seriously some people take it especially when it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Get off Facebook and go outside people. Life is too short.

So the day is here and finally thanks to the support of some good friends and whoring myself on facebook, this blog has made me $100. I still have to go through the revision process that they do for every account, but everything should check out ok. Writing a blog has actually been pretty fun considering I started it solely for the purpose of seeing if I could actually make money from it. Thanks to anyone and everyone who supported and I think I may actually keep this thing going. Like I've said before I may turn in into a legit website one day, but only time will tell when that happens. So the Celts are apparently gonna trade Nate Robinson and Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic. Now I'm not one to comment on sports normally, but I just don't see any sense in making a move like this. I mean we gain a pretty solid forward in Jeff Green, but Nenad Krstic? Really? That's downgrading our center and aside from Perkins, we really don't have anyone solid to fill that spot. Shaq isn't as good in his old age and Big Baby is good coming off the bench, but that's where he should stay. Not too bummed about Robinson but it's gonna be sad to see Perk go. I hope Ainge knows what he's doing.

So this happened like a week ago but I still can't say I believe it. Apparently Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is back to the WWE and will no longer be pumping out mediocre movies, but instead mediocre catch phrases. Growing up in the age of technology has given me a different perspective on the investment world than someone from a generation before mine. Although I may have grown up in the age of technology, people from older generations have the knowledge and experience that I lack. Today's competitive investing world requires every generation to come together in order to gain an advantage by combining knowledge and experiences that every generation has inherited through their past experiences.
