#Disappointed,

I absolutely love the style of this watch. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get it (It's in my school's colors.) I have several Invictas, and they have always served me well. With all that said, the only attribute of the watch that works is telling time and setting the time. I can't change the date on it or use any of the other functionality (Yes, I read the manual). Needless to say, I was disappointed.

#A Giant Lady Bug!,

It looks like a giant lady bug has landed on my wrist.

This watch must be made for women with huge wrists, because I can't imagine any guy wanting to wear any jewelry that looks like a ladybug.

Needless to say I returned mine and ordered the black face version... much better.

Awesome, Beautiful, Heavy, Thick, Everything I look for in a watch,

I own this watch and I must say that the other 2 reviewers apparently know nothing about automatic watches. If you are a watch collector or just a person that likes beautiful and functional timepieces then this watch is for you. The Invicta Subaqua Noma 3 model 4561 has a 50mm case, it is 18mm thick, the band is 28mm wide, it weighs in at 14.4 oz's, it has Sapphire crystals front and back and it is waterproof to a depth of 500 meters or 1650 feet below sea level, and one of the most important features of this fine timepiece is it uses the Valjoux 7750 25 jewel automatic movement.
This watch most likely isn't for anyone that has wrist size smaller that 6.5" and most women wouldn't care for the size and weight of this fine watch. Other than that this watch is for me the perfect timepiece in every way. I own 52 other watches ranging from Casio Pathfinder, to Rolex Sub Mariners. I wear a different watch the way most people wear a favorite pair of jeans or sport coat. But this watch is my favorite watch. I wear it almost everyday. This Invicta watch gets a lot of questions from people everywhere, a lot of women are very curious about the size and weight and also the materials that go into the Subaqua Noma model 4561.
I must give a lesson for those of you that don't know what an Automatic watch is, An Automatic watch is not a Quartz watch. A Quartz watch uses a battery to keep it running and they keep very good time. A Mechanical watch is like an Automatic except it must be wound every day to keep it running. I have a Hamilton mechanical watch that was built in the mid 20's and it still keeps perfect time. Then we come to the Automatic Timepiece, an Automatic is a Mechanical watch that has a rotor on the backside of the movement under the back case or under the exhibition back. This Rotor spins with your arm movement. In other words it winds itself as you walk or just move the arm the watch is on. A lot of people want to know if the automatic watch can be over wound, the answer is NO. It can not be over wound by the rotor but some Automatic watches may be over wound by the crown. (I'm sorry I should have gone over that), the Crown is the small usually knurled wheel that is on the side of the watch that you use to set the date and time. On an Automatic or Mechanical watch this is used to wind the watch and of course set the time and date. If you wear the automatic every day it will not have to be wound manually by the crown. The automatic can be over wound in many cases, when you feel a little bit of resistance or tightening on the crown STOP!!!!
winding. Also most automatic's have a Power Reserve, and that means the watch will usually keep running for about 36 to 45 hours after you take the watch off your wrist. You may also want to use a Automatic Winder or Rotator, this is a tool that you put your Automatic watch into and it will rotate usually every 3 to 4 hours for about 15 minutes or so just to keep the Automatic watch wound. Most Automatic watches only wind in one direction. Like I said at the beginning of this review The Subaqua Noma 3 model 4561 is a beautiful example of Swiss engineering. This Invicta watch deserves it's place on your wrist.

As worn by the real life James Bond,

If James Bond existed, he wouldn't wear a fragile Omega Seamaster, he would wear this watch. This watch is absolutely massive- a real mans watch, yet it is extremely classy and contains amazing detail. This watch is tough, yet beautiful enough to complement a punch in the face (or a suit). This watch is water resistant to 1000 meters (I can only just dive down this far while holding my breath) and has a swiss movement. How many other watches can you find in this price range that have these features? None.

This watch is better than anything I have ever bought. Ever. You can just see members of the Special Forces, SAS, SEALS or the like using this watch to kill people (commies and Nazis I believe). However, it looks great with causal clothing, dressed up for the office or for a special occasion (such as a bank robbery).

I verily believe that this watch has killed people before, but in a good way.

Seriously, buy it.

BEST DEAL ON THE PLANET

I bought this after I saw it on Shop NBC. The Amazon price was over $700 less. I liked it enough, I immediately (4- 5 days later) bought the same model in rose gold. The case, dial, and band look fantastic. The 7751 movement with all the complications, is a step above other watches in this price range.

It is a large watch and I have a small- just over 6" wrist, but it fits great. Good look for any casual non suit use.

Buy a watch winder. You need 800 revolutions a day- clockwise. I bought a TechSwiss off Amazon that works well with good pricing. Use either the 1st or 2nd winding time option (clockwise) to keep it wound.

Nice large watch,
I purchased this watch as addition to my collection of affordable watches that I don't just store in box but also can wear.
This watch is large at 52mm but it is not uncomfortable on wrist. The weight is amazing for its size. The numbers and hands are very bright at night and can be clearly seen.
The rubber bracelet is very comfortable and not irritating skin. However, it is unusual short for the watch this size. I have wear it on the third hole from the end. But it's not a problem (at least from me) but some people with larger hands might not be able to fit this watch.
The price is also right in a spot for quart movement swiss made watch. If you can see my previous reviews, I always like quartz watches (though recently I purchased few mechanical watches). I am "time-accuracy freak" so having perfect time is must for me and this watch keeps perfect time.
The only thing that this watch is missing is a second hand. But because I am not wearing this watch at time when seconds play much difference, I am ok with it as well.
I am highly recommending this watch to men with medium to large size arm/wrist. Men with small hand may find this watch too heavy and too large.
